Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're a bound to enter the world of Michael Zavalla.
Now's your change to turn back.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Michael, don't do red well, do uha or something?
Speaker 1 (00:17):
I can't hear you. I'm just baze, that's what you're
thinking about. This is m Z.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Now.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
Well, we're back from California. You are right there, William Daniels,
I heard some noises me coffin. Yeah, oh now it's
just uh. And then the music for some reason so low.
I don't know why it's throwing me all off. Yeah,
i'd drink my water during the break. So we're back
(01:08):
from Los Angeles. Had a great time, Eric and I
gonna recap it. And then Clark's had a very rough
couple of weeks. We're gonna talk about that when we
come back from the break. And I feel really bad
for him. It's been a really, really rough couple of weeks.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
I can't wait to hear.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, very depressed.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Look how he's usually depressed, but he looks even more
depressed today.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
Lola's not here or depressing, right.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
She told me she was going to be here, but
then I found out this morning she was in Houston, Texas.
So I don't know how you gonna drive from ten
o'clock to get here in time for the show.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
So no, no, that's right, that's right about the right time.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
But then she's got her kid, so she's either gonna
have to bring the kid or she'd have to go.
But you know her, she God, oh, I got to
drop my kid off a fort Worth then come over.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
She's not gonna make it.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
So I was telling everyone before the show, I think,
you know, there's some other messy stuff going on behind
the scenes I found out about with her, and I'm
thinking about just uh, Colin whoever Britney Spears' dad called
and get conservatorship over Lola. So that way we can
just you know, help them make better decisions.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
That would be a good show.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
Yeah, they would make that a reality show. Yeah, I
think that would be fun. Freeing Lola. That's just gonna
call all right, So Eric, do you want to start
off with? So why do we go to l A.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
What was the.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Point we went to LA for Universal Studios Hollywood fan Fest.
I think this is the first time they're doing something
like this. I think of it like a kind of
like a a MANI like comic con, just with like
I guess like certain things that they feel like we're
(02:42):
bringing in a crowd. Right, So they had Dungeons and Dragons,
D and D. They had Back to the Future, which
I think is their IP anyways, right mm hm so
and because also they have I think I think also
when afterwards, after we kind of go to the things,
I think about, I know, somebody's like in the corporate
(03:04):
like room thinking what what do we have here that
we can utilize?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
You know, what can we take out a storage?
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:11):
What we have and is dusted off and like d'ae like,
look you guys, you know, let's it. So Back to
the Future, which they have the set pretty much the
little town, the square where a lot of it was filmed,
and then uh, which we found out what was not
the original clock tower, right because the original one burned down?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Yeah, we built it. It burned down about I don't know,
fifteen years ago.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Yeah, yeah, a clip about that.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah, where I got it when we had Christopher Lloyd on. Yeah,
I asked him because I thought the Back to the
Future ride had burnt down, but I got confused it
was the clock tower.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
So he corrected me.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, JJK, which is jujitsu kaizen. What is that it's
an enemy. It's okay, it's probably way way way after
your time. Oh yeah, then uh one piece, which is
an anime, and then uh start truck the least but yeah,
(04:06):
well was it built out to? Sorry, the last but
not least story track?
Speaker 1 (04:11):
So I Chris, Eric asked me, do you want to
go to this?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
I go how you ruined it?
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I know, just you had your your shatter pause and
everything and last but not.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Least at at least start trek.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
So I don't Usually, you know, I love Universal Studios,
but I wasn't. I'm not a big like Horn Night's
fans and all that stuff. I don't see myself going
to that. But when I saw this, I think Eric
told me about this like three months ago. He showed
it to me, and I'm like, well, they're gonna do
Back to the Future. They're gonna be Star Trek. I love
those two things. I gotta go.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
And I'll be honest with you. I didn't know what
to expect, Michael. I really didn't. Like I can I
can only imagine what they were gonna do. But really, honestly,
what I thought they were gonna do. I thought it
was it was gonna be like comic Con.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
To be honest with you, I.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
Thought they werena just gonna have these things in their
like uh like soundstage, yeah, buildings and kind of do
like a comic con like where they have like boobs. Yeah,
maybe a little like photo like little photo section checks
in with different like stuff from like maybe the show
(05:14):
or something like that, you know, But that was about it.
I wasn't expecting what we got.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
It was, well, I'll tell you what. We made a
little video.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
This is my first influencer come with me video, and
I'm gonna play it for you right now. Come with
me to fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios, Hollywood. Our
first stop was the D and D Attraction. I don't
know too much about the Do Not Disturb franchise that
what I can tell you is it was a vibe.
Speaker 5 (05:37):
It even a goat a cute little yoda at the end.
Next we went back to the past to the Rick
and Morty world. The townspeople were so nice and they
even had a little stage. I heard this might be
where Fire Festival two is happening. Next, we watched a
cartoon version of The Hunger Games. The story was a
little bit different than I remembered but the movie was
still a bop. And finally we went to Star World.
(05:57):
There was some kind of.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Mechanical issue and I thought we would be stuck there
all night. It turns out it was all part of
the attraction and we got out of there with no problems.
This event was a ten out of ten and it's
a must seat for all of us true fans out there.
That was my first ever influencer video, but that kind
of gave you an idea of what we went to
and what we did. I will say so I was
(06:20):
really excited about the Star Trek one because I knew
it was the original. Well it's not the original set,
but it's a set they built for Star Trek Percard
season three of the Enterprise D set. So they built
that set because the original set either doesn't exist or
it's in a museum or something somewhere, and so they
rebuilt it for Star Trek Percard season three.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
That was a set that we're in.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
So I really was gonna I thought that was going
to be a very emotional experience for me. I thought
it was going to be really cool. I was blown
away by the back to the future thing that was.
That was the one that really did it for me.
That's where I was like wow, because it was so cool.
You drive up there and you know, they got everything,
recreated the town as best they could. They got the
(07:02):
clock tower, They had these little things that were happening,
like they had the Martin McFly band was playing, you
know on the Fish under the Seed dance or whatever.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Uh, and they had they would do.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
They did the clock tower thing where they actually super
imposed the movie on the clock tower and then like
sparks would fly and there was fire on the street.
It was really really well done. And I realized, I'm like,
this is so cool because they actually shot the movie
right here, like we're in the exact same spot they
shot the movie forty years ago. And I just thought
it was really cool with that. That one blew me away.
What about you, Eric, did you have like one that
(07:34):
really blew you away?
Speaker 2 (07:37):
I think I think that one, which the D and
D one I did, Like I felt like that was
the most probably immersive one. Yeah, that was really excited about.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
But yeah, I think it was like between that one
and then Back to the Future because whenever the super
imposed the video that clip of the electricity, Yeah, I
was getting it up to see for the car. That
whole scene, Like, I feel like I left Earth and
then like I was in that movie.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, you know, somebody said, you know when they go
out to the nature and they're like, this is where
I feel God or whatever. You know, this is where
they get God as they go out to the nature
and mountains or whatever. That's where I found God was
right there. Back to the Future. Yeah, it was so incredible,
and I wish we could have spent the whole day
just being there at that place. There were so many
things to do, but we had a lot to see.
(08:30):
We were there for what maybe three hours at the
entire event.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
Yeah, Back to the far Back to the Future. I
feel like, well I got very nostalgic in that moment.
And then like and then like when you follow it
electricity because they did actually sparked it and it flew
through like this a wire all which is where the
car was supposed to hits the car, and then there's
like these flames of like the streaks of like the
tire marks, and then a little.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
It's just spinning.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Yeah, it's just spinning there. It was like really really cool.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
And then the actors who play the parts there were
really good too. I mean they did a great job. Yeah,
like the Christopher Lloyd, the Doc Brown guy was really good. Yeah, incredible.
The one that we stayed for last, the one we
went to at the very end I thought was gonna
be you know, the cherry on top. I thought it
was a Star Trek one and we couldn't wait we
(09:20):
get there. I don't know what was going on. I
just wish people there was like a story. Right you
walk into the store the shuttle bay, and they're like, oh,
there's an alien attacking us or whatever, so they they
and then every room you go through is another part
of the ship, and then you end up on the bridge,
and then you leave whole things maybe like five minutes, right, Yeah,
I'm just trying to take everything out. I just want
(09:41):
to I want to be like this, Can everyone just
be quiet for one second so I could just look
at everything for a second. Can you just move out
of the way. There was too much going on. I
don't know what was happening to the story. I'm trying
to look at the set, and I want to look
at all the little design pieces and everything. That's what
I want to look at. It was way too much.
They really should have just had it as like a
tour guide going through showing you, oh I.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Love the ship, instead like a museum. That's what it
was supposed to be.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
So you're technically you're shipped into this old ship museum
and you you're you're beamed onto the Enterprise d or whatever,
and they're walking you through. But then they throw this
whole story in and I don't care about the story.
It goes by so fast. I never got a chance
to look at anything. So that's how I felt about it.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, very skip parts like story parts of video game. Right.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
Yeah, it was the same thing, like I didn't care.
I just want to look at I wish we could
have gone through it again. Actually we probably could have,
but yeah, yeah we could have just to get just
to see more of it because it was really cool.
I didn't know you could go with the back too,
at the bridge where you know, like wharf in them
stand they always saw people on TikTok going back in
the back there.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
You could have just done that. Oh really yeah, oh
I think we had.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
We had to enter it through the other side, the
little left, the non express whatever. Oh yeah, that was
like non express, No I thought, I think I enjoyed
it for the wrong reason.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Yeah, yeah, so go ahead, you tell that part.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Well, maybe you can help me, So like, yeah, so
we go into the first section. I think uh is
was the medical bay. Once we passed through the initial
like explanation of like we're going to be uh transported
into the Enterprise, and she's showing us like the medical
bay and then she's like, wait a minute, something's not right.
(11:18):
What in the I forget what Kirby came. I was saying,
like we have what hit?
Speaker 1 (11:23):
Did he say?
Speaker 4 (11:24):
It was?
Speaker 2 (11:24):
It was a line from one of the from the
medical bay personnel. What in the I can't even remember.
It was funny that it was hilarious. It was totally
out of left field. And so we go to the
next one and then like we go, uh, we're getting
We're going to the bridge. So we're going we get
in this elevator and so the elevator is supposed to
(11:46):
be like moving, and then somehow there's like a star
fleet officer in there and he's like, wait a minute,
something's not right.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
This is the zestiest start fleet officio I've ever seen.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Oh yeah, definitely. I was like he was like computer. Yeah,
and he was and he was cat walking and he
was doing a roundabout turned snap walking to the other side.
Speaker 3 (12:10):
He put the pad like this yeah yeah, double pinky up.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Then he would he would like yeah, he would be
like what's going on here? Like what happened? And he's
all like he's back and for back and forth, and
he's all like, computer, what is going on? And then
like the medical bay doors open.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
The door that we just walked in from accidentally opened,
somebody opened it.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Then he looks and he's like it was like a
comedy because you know how like when something door opens
or whatever and you see like behind the set and
there's like workers, like staff workers. There were like headsets
and like whatever. Staff.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah yeah, somebody.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
So staff came out of this room right next to
the medical bay doors opening, and they looked at us,
We looked at them, were like computer.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
It was so that was the best. That was the
best part.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
If it wasn't for that guy, I don't think I
would have really enjoyed the whole Star Trek thing, but uh,
it was really cool. Then then at one point, so
I've never I've been with Eric at like two theme
parks uh, this is the first time he's in full
theme park mode though he's got the map out, he's
got Yeah, but I've only when we've gone you and
I'm it wasn't like planned necessarily or it's like a
(13:28):
one thing, you know what I mean. I've never been
with you when you're actually going to a theme park.
So I saw you in full theme park mode. Okay,
we got it this time, this part of the park
closest this time. So I've been following him the entire
time because he knows what's going on. So one point
we go to the bathroom and so I'm just following
into the bathroom and we both walk in and we
look around. We're like, I thought it, he said it.
(13:49):
He goes, oh, there's no urinals in here. I was,
that's weird. Oh well, we both say oh, well, at
like the same time, kick open stalls start peeing in it.
And then we walk out or I don't know where
he went, but I walk out out one side. I'm
washing my hands and I look over in the mirror
and there's a girl standing right next to me, and
I'm like, that's where they got the men in the
women's bathroom right next to where you said, I guess
we share like a co ed hand washing station or something.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
That's weird.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
I walk out and I turn around and I realized
we've been in the women's bathroom the whole time and
no one said anything, nothing happened, And.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
I walked out with all these two girls, they'd even flinch,
like at all.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
We were in California, right right, So it worked out
for to go anywhere that should be where.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (14:30):
It really was the accident because it was they the
doors were literally right next to each other and then
in the middle there was like a wall like separating them.
So really realistically, you think, okay, the right side is
for men, the left one is for women. Right normally
that's how it is. Yeah, I didn't even think about it.
I just went in there because I had to be
really bad, went in there, use the rest, me came
back out, and then that's that Michael told me. I'm like,
(14:52):
oh crap. You know.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
Well, by the way side, note, I just forgot how
much fun Kirby is to hang out with.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Well, I never get to hang out.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I see him, like, you know, once a year maybe,
but we got to hang out for you know, like
a day and a half and it was really cool.
He was a lot of fun. He just I love
how he's like Eric will talk trash, but he has
like a filter and he knows what he toms down.
Kirby just talks trash no matter what, Like he'll just
he'll just tell you what he's thinking, no matter what.
(15:21):
It's great. I love it. But yeah, great time. And
then is there anything from that night that I'm missing
or that you want to touch on?
Speaker 2 (15:29):
I don't think so, oh, I will just say, I mean,
I don't know. I mean some of that, I guess
some of the cons, right, I feel like this is
the first event. I feel like some of the cons
that we saw were we wanted to we had we
bought an express pass. We paid good money for it.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
Yeah, it was like double regular pass.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
We just wanted to see, uh, maybe an express pass
to get out of things.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Yeah, right, because you get in really quick, but you're
trying to leave. You're in the line with fifty other people,
like leaving back to the future. It took us like
twenty minutes. That felt like Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
And then some of the some of the like they
had the like different food and drink items that were
based off of the different IP Some of them are
really long, so I don't I don't know how they're
gonna fix that, but.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
You know we did.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
We didn't try a lot, but you did. You told
you tried the what was it the Earl Gray?
Speaker 3 (16:24):
What did I try? No, that's Kirby. Kirby got that. Yeah,
I forget what I got, But there was some of
the bug in it from Star Trek.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
What it was that little bars and restaurants set up
for all the different IP That was really cool. Oh,
I will say the one thing that really really really
disappointed me was at one point earlier on in the
night when we got there, we were looking at a
gift shop because Kirby wanted to go buy some stuff,
and so Kirby and I'm like, I don't want to
hold a bunch of stuff walking around.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
I'll just get at the other night.
Speaker 3 (16:51):
Eric says, yeah, I'm gonna do it too, So we'll
just as we're leaving, we'll get some some of the
things that we wanted to get. And one of the
things I really wanted was a Martin McFly hat from
Back to the Future too, you know, the little colored one. Yeah,
so uh, they had that, and I could. I just
bought a Martin McFly vest, but the red vest and
has like back to the Future on the back. It
was pretty cool, and so I wanted that whole little
(17:12):
outfit because it's the fortieth anniversary, right. So at the end,
I find everything I'm going to get except for the hat.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
So I go and I'm looking around. Where's the hat? At?
Speaker 3 (17:21):
So I go to the one of these girls and
I go, Hey, the back of the Future hat. I
don't do you guys have that somewhere? She goes, no,
if it's not up there of the display, it's probably
already gone. I like, okay, weird.
Speaker 1 (17:29):
So then.
Speaker 3 (17:31):
This other girl that was helping us out, she really
did bent over backwards for her.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
She was doing great. It was Kimberly.
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Kimberly I forget Kimberly B you think or something like that.
Yeahs Kimberly G.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Kimberly G.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
I remember the G for gangster.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Yeah, that's right. And she really helped us out.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
She gave Kirby like some free stuff, tenderly stuff he deserved,
but we didn't get at our lapskift shop we were
at and I said, hey, can you do me a favor.
Can you go look in the back and see if
you can find this hat? And so she goes, well,
we do have him in the back, but we only
are allotted so many per day.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Let me see.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
I like, let me talk to a manager, see if
I can get you one. And she couldn't do it.
So I go, you know what, it's the end of
the night. Kirby's tired of walking. Eric's tired of walking.
The other gift shop is way down, like on the
other side of the park, on the very bottom level.
I said, you know what, guys, I'm gonna go down
and go get it real quick, real quick. You were
gone fri thirty eight.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Well I got lost number one. I got lost.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Yeah, I got turned around and then I had to
go back and I find where it needs to be,
and I went down. I got down there, went over
to go put my hand in a little thought it
was in there earlier.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
All gone wow. So I went back up.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
So anyway, I didn't get my hat, and so I've
hit up a couple of people that are in LA
I'm like, hey, if you guys go to Fannyse, please
give me a hat. I'll buy I'll pay for it,
just you know, let me know how much you pay
for it. And everyone's like, okay, I'll try to make it.
But I mean, this thing's only going to be around
for like two more weeks and then it's gone. So Sean,
who was on here a couple of weeks ago, she's
in La this week. Oh okay, So I hit her up.
(18:51):
She goes, I said, hey, oh, i'll hear you're in
La or whatever.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
She goes, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
I said, hey, by the way, you should go to
a fan fest and go get me this hat. I'll
pay I'll pay for the hat.
Speaker 2 (19:02):
And she goes to early when they open.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
She goes, well, you here, send me on all these
side quests and blah blah blah blah blah. So anyway,
she was going for a family member thing, so I, well,
don't worry about it. If you don't end up going,
it's on a big goal. So she hits me up
yesterday she goes, actually, you might be in luck because
we're going to the city walk to go eat. I said, well,
what time are you going? She goes, like two o'clock,
as it's too early. Yeah, it's gonna be seven o'clock,
so they're only going to put it out then. But anyway,
(19:26):
so I've been trying to figure out a way to
go back, just to go see the Star Trek set
one more time and then get the hat. But I
don't know, you no, I mean, if something happens, you know,
and I have to go to La real quick, I'm
going to make that an excuse. But I doubt it's
going to happen. We're too busy in the next couple
of weeks ago, okay, but I'm didn't even look on
eBay to see if I can just buy one. I
can't find one, that one that they had. But anyway,
(19:49):
it doesn't matter. It's not going to change my life whatsoever. Yeah,
and then the very next day we got to hang
out with We had brunch with Piatt and Michael. Who's
on the show. Who does you know Chris fill Lloyd.
He has the voice of Yoda, so he was really cool.
We talked for about an hour of just life and voiceover.
He gave Eric some great advice and uh, it was
(20:10):
really good. It was a really good He's a great guy.
And I hit him up. I'm like, hey, we're gonna
go get brunch tomorrow. You want to come out? He goes, Yeah,
to me some some places and we'll we'll pick one. Yeah,
and he came out. It was it was a great time.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, it was really cool. Yeah. I went to a
castaway on the side of the mountain.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Oh cast it was great. Yeah, somebody, that's what I saw.
I was meeting Eric. So I land and I tell
Eric I'm in town and we're gonna he he had
a friend that he was gonna eat lunch with and
I was going to meet him up for brunch, and
so he said, and I also want to go to
Honor Bar in Beverly Hills. There's an honor bar here
in Dallas, but there's one in Beverly Hills. So I thought,
I'll stop an honor bar when I get off the
(20:45):
plane and wait for the reservation, because Eric's in me.
This reservation on something open table. I didn't even know
he wo knew what open table was, and so I'm like, oh,
this is this seems fancy. I didn't know what this is,
and so uh, I end up I get to Honor
and then I realized, like, the place he's picked is
forty five minutes away, So I literally have time just
(21:05):
to eat a little something and then go to the
next place, and uh it was great. It was incredible.
Bit I've learned later that he didn't pick that place.
His friend did, and that made sense. It all made
sense at that point because I'm like Eric, Eric's not
gonna go eat something like that. He wants like a burger.
He's a regular guy. He wants to go eat a
Chili's del Taco. We's not gonna pick this place.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
We did.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
We did find a coffee shop that served breakfast as well,
which that's where we were before we went to Castaway.
It was really really good. Uh, coffee was amazing. And
then we went to this little section I don't know
where we were exactly, I think Glendale or something like that,
the Mystic Museum, and then along that same street other
(21:48):
similar things like horror thing themed like shops in Bodega's
really really cool.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
Uh yeah, I saw pictures of it. It seemed really cool.
Uh yeah, I'll definitely go back to Castaways. So I
really liked him. The view was great, the weather was perfect.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
I just wish our uber driver had a better car
with a better transmission because like on the way back, Yeah,
because it's like it's on top of like almost like
the top of the hill the mountain, so no way back.
But on the way there, oh yeah, so like his
car kept on like as we were going up like
a you know, a slope, it was like he had
to like it would hit jerking, and then it would
(22:23):
like he had like boom the gas like get up there,
and it was like I'm like, yeahs missions about to go.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Oh and then we had the worst Uber driver on
the way back to the airport.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Yeah, Eric was sick. I was sick. I knew Eric
was sick because he wasn't saying anything.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, I was trying to throw up.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, it was so bad.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
This guy would be like he had like ten cars
in front of him, like empty spaces, and he would
just like slam on the brake, then speed up, slam
on the brake again, and we're all like slashing around
the back.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
That was awful. But other than that, it was a
great little trip. I mean it was real fast. We
were there and we're out.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
But then and then he would get to the airport
and he's all like, Eddie, don't you could give me
five stars? I don't know, like, yeah, forget the five start.
I know.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
I stay stick until I got back into town and
then I felt a little bit better. But great trip.
If you're in the LA area the next couple weeks.
Definitely do fan days. It's our fan fast. It's definitely
worth it.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
I was shocked. Michael really liked it.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Yeah, and he goes, see, see why you come here
all the time. We go, well, yeah, but I'm not
gonna come here for everything every just for no reason.
I come for this, I'll come for this, but I'm
not going to just come just because. All right, Well
we're right back.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
This is m z now online at mz now don TV. Hello, Hi,
are you are you there? Hello?
Speaker 6 (23:49):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Can you hear me? Yes, I'm calling about it this scasion,
you know, the one that you just posted nine minutes ago?
Speaker 5 (23:56):
For what they come?
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Okay? So shoot, so he said, you said your wife's car.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
You said you gotta be picked up today.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Okay, so where you locate it?
Speaker 3 (24:07):
I can't hear you.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Hello?
Speaker 2 (24:08):
What did he say?
Speaker 7 (24:10):
I'm saying you posted something on Craigslist, a car that
you're trying to get rid of.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Where are you?
Speaker 1 (24:15):
By the way, I'm in Dallas. Okay, so you just
needed to be picked up or we paid for I
can't hear you? Can you hear me? Now?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Oh yeah, that's much better.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Okay, So I guess so you posted a car. Yes, okay,
you posted a car that he needs to get to go.
So I was trying to figure out people can pick it.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Up for what?
Speaker 4 (24:38):
The car? The car?
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Can I pick that car up? Where are you by
the way in Dallas and traveling to Dallas today? Are
you getting rid of a car or you are? What
are you doing with it? I had no idea and
I don't know if anybody did. Okay, but is it
still there? Is it still available? We sold it? This?
We gone up being Bud Droyd.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Here we are at droid school. Oh are you nervous?
SPF one fifty. Wow, why do you think they make
fun of you?
Speaker 6 (25:12):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (25:13):
Well, here's your new teacher SPF one fifty ms WD forty.
You see, there's nothing to worry about, and she's kind
of good looking. Find out if she's single for dear
old dad, Well, how was your first day at school?
(25:34):
SPF one fifty. We're gonna have to go back tomorrow.
Droid school is important for your development. You know, when
I was your age, I was made fun of in
school too, But one day I stood up to my
bully and he learned to respect me because of that.
And you know what, me and my bully we became
(25:56):
best friends. You know, Uncle F fourteen, Well he was
my childhood bully and now he's my best friend. I
couldn't imagine life without him. So you see, this could
be an opportunity for you to have a new best friend.
Doesn't that make you feel better? Oh you're welcome, SPF
one fifty, Now come give me a hug. But did
you find out if your teacher was single or not?
Speaker 6 (26:20):
Nothing but droid streaming now on mz now plus mz no.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Hey, this is Stephen Hug and you are listening to
Michael Tomall online at mznow dot TV.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
I shouldn't have played that one, but I know that's
a sensitive area for you right now.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Well, he doesn't even like being referred to in the
whole Grand Theft Auto thing.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
Yeah, so let's let's talk about Clark's very bad, no
good past couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
First.
Speaker 3 (27:11):
You know, you know, for those who don't know, Clark's
a very stout Catholic, and you know, the pope died
suddenly at the age of however old he was. Yeah,
numerous health problems. Yeah, I think he also worked for Boeing.
That's probably why he died. So and uh and then
so he's already ruling from that and then finds out
a couple of days ago that GTA has been delayed
(27:32):
a full year. And there was nobody else I know
in my in my life that was more excited about
GTA than Clark because you already already planned taken like
a week off, right.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Yeah, I was gonna take a week off and uh,
that way I could uh fully immerse myself into the
universe that is Vice City.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
And now now you got to stay alive for another year.
I know.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
That's what I think about when things like that happen.
I'm like, well, can be careless.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Well, I mean to their credit at least, or not
putting out a terrible game or a game with bugs
or less bugs or I don't know what this means,
to be quite honest with you, because there wasn't a
hard set date, you know.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Yeah, it was just it was Q four this year
they were gonna say, I thought I thought like October,
they said October twenty five, and now they just said, well,
it's gonna be May and it's actually going to have
a hard day of May twenty six, which also Rockstar
has not released a game, or at least.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Not a Grand Theft Auto game in that time period.
Usually they're a Q four like you said, h So
there's a lot of speculation going on. I mean they've
released they released a trailer what like a year and
a half ago.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Yeah, in a while, no information that they dropped the trailer,
and then it like.
Speaker 4 (28:45):
It was like a lot of leaks and stuff. And
I don't ever, I don't ever pay attention to the leaks.
I don't care about leaks, Like I don't care about
screen shots. I don't care about like videos of them
rendering whatever. I don't I don't care about that. Uh,
because they've been notorious for like overworking their their staff,
so at least they're a little bit more I don't know,
(29:08):
hr driven.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Do you think it has something to do with like
tarofts and stuff? Is that why they they know what
terrafs are, what tariffs? Would it be like shipping the
boxes or whatever? Well, but people are gonna I bet
you most.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
I would send one hundred dollars for GTA one, so
I'll buy the like special editions.
Speaker 4 (29:24):
Yeah, like pretty much most people are going to buy
a digital copy. And even then, they already came out
and said that video games are going up.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yeah, and I'm for a game like GTA that can
We'll give you ten plus years of NonStop upgrades and
all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (29:38):
Well, the CEO of that company of Take two, the
I can't find my camera there. It is a dude
that runs Take two ceo was saying, there was It's
been probably four or five months ago, did an interview
where he was talking about games should be charged by
hours you play. Well, probably gonna some crazy stuff.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
Yeah, and GTA six they're waiting for the economy to
get better. Some people can afford it. Well, i'll play
thirty minutes, it'll be like a twenty. It would be
like arcades again. Well, you put in the quarter and
then that gives another five minutes or whatever.
Speaker 7 (30:14):
I mean, that's what basically we're paying a monthly fee
for some of these games.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
That that's what it is.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
Yeah, he wasn't watching too much Uss Callister.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
Oh yeah, that the Black The Black Mirror episode that
just I just started my Netflix account just to watch
Black Mirror that episode.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
It was so good, wasn't it good?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
It was?
Speaker 3 (30:33):
I'm watching I'm trying to find something else to watch
on Netflix now because I have it for like a month.
One thing I like about Netflix that none of the
other streaming platforms have, like whenever you kind of like
Apple TV has a lot of good, like rich, deep shows,
But if I just want to just watch something trashy
in the background, like just some cheap reality TV, none
of the platforms really have that to be Tub's got it, Yeah,
(30:54):
has a lot. But Netflix is really good at like
made for TV trash, you know.
Speaker 1 (30:59):
I mean, if you take a d dive on some
of the stuff on Peacock and oh that's right.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
Forget about Peacock and Paramount Plus. I think they got
plenty of trash, really, I have, because they're they're more
their stuff is more like network centric, that's true. Like yeah,
but Netflix, I I get what you're saying. There's a
really good, uh Vietnam documentary on Netflix right now.
Speaker 3 (31:18):
I'm not into the mood of that, but well, there
you go. But I might watch squid Games. I haven't
heard that someone get their blown off. Yeah, pain PTSD.
I was telling I don't know if you'll remember when
we were when when I broke my leg and I
was in recovery and we remember Spider and I, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
It was a tragic scooter accident.
Speaker 3 (31:34):
Spider and I would play on Red de Redemption online
because that game had just come out, and every time
my horse would jump over like a cliff and I'm
laying I'm in a recliner. Every time the horse would
jump and it would be like a hard landing, my
leg would hurt.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
So I would like, forget it. I can't do that.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
So I can get with Kentucky Derby, that guy. I
can't do that now. Yeah. By the way, so this
clip is like two years old. We never played it before.
This is Clark at the Cat Convention. I've heard all
about this but never seen it. This was This was
when I just turned off the camera because we're not
shooting anything. I just turned off the camera and Clark
was talking to this little cat and this is just audio.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
It's all we have. Going to find a good hump.
Speaker 4 (32:13):
Okay, we got Oh we didn't get that on camera.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
Oh, it's with all the children. Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
So so basically what you say with Clark, that was
the first one he attacked.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
Yeah, find a good hump.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Okay, we got and that sound doesn't do it Jesus,
because that cat like jumped at the cage like I
wouldn't even paying attention.
Speaker 1 (32:45):
I saw it in the corner of my eye. Happened.
It was that crazy.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
But uh yeah, we finally found the clip and then
Catherine cut a little montage of you at the cat Conic.
Came out pretty good. It was still a little jittery,
but it wasn't that great. I mean, it wasn't as
bad as I thought.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
It was.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Okay, By the way, I remember the story I was
going to talk about from La when we were at
brunch at Castaways. So it's Kirby and Eric's name one
side of the table, me and in Eric's friend what's her.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Name, Lataria Lasteria Lateria.
Speaker 3 (33:15):
We were sitting on the other side of the table,
and so, you know, we order some stuff. Whatever, it's
time to go. I'm going to go back to my hotel,
drop my stuff off, take a nap. Eric and Kirby
had and do Warner Brothers tour, and so the guy
comes up and Lasteria says, hey, can I can we
just go ahead and get all of our tabs?
Speaker 1 (33:34):
And the guy goes, oh, we put it all together.
We can't.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
I can't split it up like that. I could split
up four ways, and I don't. I don't ever like
that because it's not fair to people who didn't order
a lot, you know. So I said, you know what,
I tell you what, Let's just make this easy. I'll
take this half of the table. Yes, and then Eric
Kirby can take the other half of the table. So just
two checks, so split it down the middle. I'll take
this half, you know, they can take that half.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
And then I was I was going to get Piat's.
Speaker 1 (33:59):
The next day.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
The guy comes back gives me the thing. First, I
paid for what I think is, you know, one half
of the table. I signed everything, you know whatever. And
then we're waiting and I'm thinking the guy who can
come back and give Eric a thing? And he never does,
and so we're just sitting there. Eric's like, you're ready
to go. I'm like, well, aren't you going to pay
the other half? He's like, you already paid everything. He
like bought that one thing that was It turns out
(34:21):
I paid for the entire table and I wasn't trying
to pay for the table again.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
He even said, oh, that wasn't bad for two people.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
I was like, oh, that's pretty good, and ended up
being for the whole table. Yeah, because me and Kirby
we shared a big old We shared it entree. Yeah,
big chicken and waffle. I've never seen anything bigger that.
He was huge, like a whole chicken chicken you have. Yeah,
Oh I was. I was impressed. Oh well, I mean
that was very impressed. I know I was, but uh yeah,
(34:49):
So it turned out I did. I pulled a Miranda
again my Miranda rights here. I am just trying to
be nice to help with the confusion, and I end
up paying for everybody.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
But it's fine. I mean, you know, got the uber
to the uh.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
The airport with the airport uh yeah, and and more
so only the price I had. My life was in danger,
right right, he risked his life, that was. And then
the guy I think it was Jewish or something, and
he gave me he passed up. He had like his
GPS and we were stuck in traffic, and so he
gives me his phone to type in the address of
(35:24):
where we were going so that he can see if
there's a fast route.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
I'm assuming. I mean, it's all grunts and stuff, so
I don't know. I'm trying to decipher.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
And then you're showing me and I'm all sick. I'm
all like, yeah, just put it in, Just put it in.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
Look's like, yeah, just type it in. I'm like, but
look at the keyboard. It's in a whole different language.
I didn't understand these symbols, so I didn't even know
what to hit. And then Kirby gets it. He goes,
I got it, hits the thing translated back to English.
Then I typed everything and it got it back. But
the guy didn't even I don't know how to do that.
I don't have to change the keyboard language. Has anybody
seen the studio on Apple TV?
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Oh no, I haven't.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
So good? Is that? Yeah? Seth Rogan And I'm not
a big Seth Rogan fan, but.
Speaker 2 (36:02):
They Yeah, whenever we were on the wanta Bro This tour,
they filmed some of the studio at the wander Bro
This tour.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
It is really, really good. It's probably my favorite Apple
TV show this year. Because Severance. I was like, I
liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. Uh, it was
really good. It's it's not like your typical stoner comedy
or whatever. It's really really good. What do you watch
right now, Clark? Are you still on Apple TV? So
a membership?
Speaker 1 (36:26):
There's a really good Vietnam documentary on Apple TV.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
That's all he's watching.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
That's all. That's it. No, I'm not really watching anything
right now. What do you do? I'm in a depress mode.
Speaker 2 (36:36):
Yeah, dude, you decided to watch a Vietnam documentary.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
Yea, well, no, there's a there was. My life's not
that bad. Yeah, god, that's true. I could. I could
crawl a tunnel and be a rat. But you're not
going out or not doing anything. You're not playing video games?
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Yeah, I'm playing one game.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
It's called thirty three three Oh okay plus.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Thirty three Immortals. It's pretty fun. I've heard of something
like that. Yeah, it's pretty fun about it. Yeah, that's
that's right, that's the one.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
Yeah, I'll tell you this. If you're gonna the game,
you got to get into. I think I turned Eric
onto it. Oh yeah, it's my I'm addicted to it.
Addicted to it.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
You know, I was already barbecue expert at the evening
the next day. Yeah, but the evening that night, I
was already doing barbecue.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yeah. It puts you the past burgers. Yeah. But what
is this game? I don't know the name of the game,
but it's SpongeBob.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
I think it's called maybe Get Cooking or something like that.
It is addicted. I played every night. Is it on
iOS or yeah?
Speaker 1 (37:37):
Io?
Speaker 3 (37:37):
So I have it on my iPad and you can
cook hamburgers and barbecue and you got to be fast
like it might give you PTSD Clarks, I'm not going
to do it, you know, but yes, chef, yes, chef,
you know that kind of thing. But for me, someone
who's just been on the other side of that, yeah,
really good. That is the game of the year, even
though I think it came out in two thousand and
(37:58):
six when I looked it up. But yeah, I think
it's like a refresh of something that came out for
like the DS and Xbox or something.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
It's fun, but.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
I love it.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
I literally I'll watch I've been watching TV at the
end of the night and I'm playing Get Cooked.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
I played it whenever you shaid it to my download,
I started playing it right or we're sitting there for
the plane. I played it on the plane because you
actually play it offline.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
Yeah, all the way till you got to down and
it goes by quick. Right, You're like, yeah, man, that
was that was three hours? Yeah, I love it. Like
I said, I watched two episodes of Black Mirror in
my mind watching that play in that game. Those episodes
were ten minutes long because I was so focused on
the game. It was so fun, and I'm already I'm
in like World three, but I'm going back to try
(38:39):
to get like all the unlocks. So I'm going back
and doing like you can do like infinitely. It's really cool.
I don't it's too complicated to explain the non players, Clark,
but you have to play it.
Speaker 1 (38:47):
You have to get into the world. There's there's food,
you gotta cook it. Yeah, but it goes deeper than that.
Speaker 7 (38:53):
Would you explained that game you were talking about, Clark,
oh thirty three more?
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yeah, yeah, because Spider was try to tell me about it.
So basically, you start off like you're a soul, I guess,
and there's different stages you can go into but you
can either fight in hell or fight in purgatory. But
essentially you can. There's four different classes. There's a swordsman,
a bowman, a magic man, and a guy with knives.
(39:22):
And they're different kinds of like dagman. You know, you're
your sword guy is kind of like a tank. Your
magic guy is kind of like a empathy.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
Yeah, your knife guy is kind of a brawler. And
but the whole point is is that you drop into
a scenario where you try to fight a some sort
of monster that's that is inspired by like biblical uh
poetry type stuff, Okay, and at the thirty three other
(39:53):
people with yeah, thirty two other people and if you
guys are if you're like just trying to fight by yourself,
you're gonna and you have to try to pair up
with other people. I don't know why. It reminds me
of when sometimes when I watch it being played, it
kind of reminds me of Overwatch, like watching people play Overwatch.
But I know that's not I know it's not nearly Yeah,
(40:16):
it's not not anything like that game. But essentially what
you do, you'll go around and you fight these demons
and then.
Speaker 3 (40:24):
By the way, Spider, thank you for I needed to
kill time and so this did it.
Speaker 1 (40:28):
So thank you.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
I appreciate that. Go ahead, I was I was just talking.
I was having a private conversation with Spider. So this
is perfect, thank you because it's going to set up
what I have to do at the end, and says perfect, right,
go ahead.
Speaker 1 (40:37):
I'm sorry. Alright, So.
Speaker 4 (40:41):
You you, uh, you fight these like little portal battles,
and then once you get done with these portal battles,
you your guy levels up, and then eventually you will
fight you'll ascend to the boss level and one of
the boss levels you fight the Devil and the other
one and you fight Adam and Eve.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
Are they naked?
Speaker 4 (41:03):
No, no, they're they're not there. Yeah they're kind of
they kind of about Yeah, they they they kind of
look like Oscar statues.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Okay, yeah, you have like a snake that comes out.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
No, no, no, man, I can't honestly, like, I can't
even describe like the level because it's kind of it's
way trippy, okay, insanely just outlandish imagery. It's so great.
But yeah, you you basically just level up your guy
and unlocked costumes and stuff like that and you're fighting. Yeah,
you're you're fighting. Uh, you're fighting demons and monsters in it.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
And it's a level like you're just always leveling pretty
much top with people.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Yeah. Some people kind of describe it as like a
loot and shoot.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
Okay, my deal, because you're upgrading every every thirty three
levels are every level whatever.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
Every time you level up, you upgrade Okay.
Speaker 7 (41:59):
Yeah, yeah, I mean there's not always thirty three people
because people die.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
People die, people, people don't know how to team work.
That's the thing.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Do you get mad at other people?
Speaker 1 (42:08):
Like, oh I get mad your head set on so
we can pull the audio.
Speaker 4 (42:13):
No, no, no, because you can't get in parties with them.
Oh I get mad because there's powers that you can
help people out. And it's like you'll you'll you'll summon
up a like a like a seance or something, and
you have to have the other people to the audience.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
Oh yeah, like they got to unlock it too, and
like I'll be like, hey, get on your little spot
and I'll lock it.
Speaker 2 (42:34):
And well, the way you go on your hands seems
a little like something else more than a seance.
Speaker 4 (42:40):
What is that?
Speaker 2 (42:41):
Yeah, Madam Steve.
Speaker 3 (42:46):
But yeah, it's a fun game, and it's free on Xbox. Really,
it's a game preview right now. Oh so it's not
even the full game.
Speaker 7 (42:52):
Yeah, it's not even the full game. Yeah, because the
second level is twenty two people. Yeah, and then it's
supposed to be eleven, but third levels not. Yeah, anything
to do fun in San Antonio? If you had three
hours of San Antonio, what would you do? Hooker River
Hooker said, there you go. So I'm trying to get
(43:14):
I was telling Eric, I don't know why. I'm probably
not going to complete this, but I'm trying to get
a a tier Southwest Airlines level because your points are
worth more. You get more points per flight or something
like that. We can just bank them.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
And in order to do so, you have to spend
either an s ton of money on a credit card
in a year's time, which we're not going to do,
or you take ten round trips in a calendar year
on Southwest. And my hack in my mind if this
works is, you know, every couple of weeks Southwest it
is like a thirty nine dollars to Austin, San Antonio
(43:49):
Houston special. So my plan is, and again I don't know,
that's going to work, but by you know, whenever they
drop these little thirty dollars specials, book a trip during
the week for like three hours to go to San Antonio,
go to Austin, go to Houston and work from there,
you know, for a couple days, like for a reason.
I wouldn't just go just to go, but you work
(44:11):
from there or whatever, and then you come back and
then that counts as two trips in one.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
In one day.
Speaker 3 (44:18):
So I've already booked two trips because they were on sale.
I booked one to Austin the end of the month,
or no San Antonio this month, Austin next month, and
then if it works out well, then I'll book more.
But I just want to see if it's even worth it, you.
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Know, just go eat tacos.
Speaker 6 (44:32):
Well.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
I want to go to the Alamo because I don't
remember it very well. You didn't remember it very well.
Now we'll do that and maybe go to the river Walk.
Speaker 1 (44:39):
I always remember. I don't take five minutes. That's why
it was like, because I only have three hours.
Speaker 3 (44:43):
So I'm going on like it's like a random Tuesday
or Wednesday, and I'm back. I leave kind of like
at twelve and I'm back here at like six, so
it's like I go there, the flight's only like thirty
minutes or whatever.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
You go there and then location scout.
Speaker 3 (44:56):
Uh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's exactly well, that's one of
the reasons why I'm thinking about doing it.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
What is going on out there? If you want to
fall on grass motorcycle.
Speaker 2 (45:05):
We need someone to interview. There's these these relatives out
there called the real estate Dolls. Oh yeah, and they're
very they they do these these reels on Instagram and
there's so like nineties inspired, like I have to show
(45:26):
you want to have ever showed you it? Nineties inspired
like sales women, and I just love them pantsuits. I
love them, Yes, I love them both, like their demeanor.
They're like and you can walk along the river walk
and just have a Saul Tree dinner, like I don't know,
it's so hilarious.
Speaker 1 (45:44):
Have you seen the girl We need to get her
in here.
Speaker 3 (45:45):
She's uh she does that on TikTok, but she finds
like apartments under like a thousand dollars a month or nine.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Oh no, these are these are like high end luxury things. Luxury, yeah,
real estate.
Speaker 3 (45:56):
Yeah, like women, I'm gonna these first two trips are
like scouting. You know, I'm just gonna kind of figure
it out. But if I can do this, I can.
I can definitely go down for a day and shoot
some content down there or whatever. And you know, I
got some other plans with this idea if it works,
because I'm gonna have to like some companies flying me
out in July, and I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Southwest,
So I think after July, I'm go need six trips
(46:19):
to make this a list here, But we bank a
lot of points, so and then we might if we
do Vegas this year for Star Trek, we'll probably do
Southwest on that, so that'll kill a trip.
Speaker 1 (46:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
We'll figure all out. That's the whole thing I'm trying
to work out. I don't know why it doesn't. It
doesn't really help us at all except for give us
more points per trip. But oh, this is what I
want to end on, because I just want to talk
about how right I am all the time. Clark and
I got into a heated discussion about a year or
two ago, and I just wanted I saw a clip
and I again, give me enough time, and what I
(46:52):
say usually turns out to be true. So the discussion
was and Clark was, I mean, he was banging his
fist on the table. Was a very heated discussion about
would Ted Danson ever reprise the role of Sam Malone,
because I said he he won Fraser, you know, Fraser rebooted,
And you didn't say like that too.
Speaker 1 (47:10):
You said, hey, well listen to me.
Speaker 2 (47:11):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (47:11):
That's how you said it will pull the clip. But
you know, we had a discussion. I said, I think
he will. I don't think he'd come back as a series,
you know, regular, but I think he would make an
appearance of Sam Malone.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 3 (47:23):
But Clark's was referring to an interview he did where
he said he doesn't want to he didn't like playing
Sam Malone, he wouldn't play Sam alone.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
YadA, YadA, YadA.
Speaker 3 (47:29):
Well, I just saw on Holli Mandell's podcast that he
had Ted Danson on and Ted said in the past
he would say that because he didn't know how he
would play He knew how to play Ted or or
Sam alone. In thirties and forties, you know, it's like
an adolescent thirty or forty year old, but he didn't
know how to do it at sixty years old. So
and he also doesn't like comedies where it's like three
(47:51):
jokes per second or whatever. You know, he didn't like
all that, and so he didn't really feel comfortable doing it.
But he's kind of like with Kelsey Grammer. They kind
of like reconnected over the past few months or whatever,
and he said, if Fraser asked him to do it,
he would come or what's his name, Kelsey Grammer asked
him to do it, he would one hundred percent come
(48:11):
back for one episode to play Sam alone. So again,
I just want to say that I was right now.
Unfortunately we may never see it because Fraser got canceled
after season two. It was a great show, though I
hope it gets Kelsey's working on getting it put somewhere else.
But I thought it was fine. It was I say
it's a great show because it was nostalgic. It gives
(48:32):
you that old sitcom feel, the three camera set up,
you know, the lights of stage. You don't really have
sitcoms like that anymore. It's all more like Abbot Elementary.
You know, it's the office, single cam type stuff.
Speaker 1 (48:43):
You gotta watch miss Pat.
Speaker 3 (48:45):
You know, I've been getting into her stuff, well, not
her content, but more like clips of her. I really
enjoy seeing clips of her on other people's podcasts and
stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
She's really funny. Yeah, she's a really good guess.
Speaker 7 (48:54):
But she has a sitcom that's very much like a
nineties show and it is three camera but a cuss
that's the only difference really, and it's like today's scenarios.
And then she also has a judge show now, so.
Speaker 1 (49:10):
We need to get on that. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
Actually, maybe I can sue Clark for being wrong and
then we get on that.
Speaker 1 (49:15):
I don't think that worked.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
That's not how it works, and Miss Pat's Court it does,
yeah anyway. But yeah, so that's it. Next week, TikToker
Davante West is on the show, a really funny guy.
Can't wait to talk to him. And then we've got
some cool stuff coming up later on the month because
Clark's going out to two conventions. I don't know if
he knows that or not. He goes out into two
(49:37):
conventions this month and shooting a lot of content there.
