Speaker 2 (00:04):
Now's your change to turn back the bacave Michael.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Those who read bull do uh or something?

Speaker 3 (00:17):
I can't hear you.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Wow, I'm just a baze at what you're thinking about.
This is m Z.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Now it's it's Metropolis.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
That is not Metropolis.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
It's Chicago.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
So do it Metros Shytown. That's the Bank of America clearly.
Oh you mean the building on the right. Yeah, that's
the that's the Bank of America building. That's way too right.
I mean it looks like it's got the whole. It's
got the same top, the same angle. The sun looks
the same if you want to show people what we're

(01:19):
talking about. So here's a little easter egg.

Speaker 6 (01:22):
No, if you go to the YouTube channel and you
hit the live tab, you'll see in like the past,
like six or eight weeks, we have Clark in AI Clark,
not the the AI Clark. Well and AI version of
Clark in different, don't be concused. So we've had him
be like Uncle Sam and now he's like Superman Clark

(01:47):
super Clark. But for whatever reason, the AI can never
get Clark's face, right.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
I think it's right. It's really kind of giving me now.
I want to see him as the Santa Claus.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Don't give away our Christmas special? Did we already do that?

Speaker 5 (02:06):
No, we didn't.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Somebody fell out the roof at some point. Oh it is,
Lady G.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
Yeah, she fell out the roof, and then we put
on her shoes or high heels or something, and then
somebody began, well, we can do it again.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Lady G.

Speaker 6 (02:17):
That's a whole eddie. Yeah, check your headphones.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Fine, not plug that in it it was working. Yeah,
you're probably a little check check check. It goes in
and out there, it is.

Speaker 6 (02:32):
But has anyone been to New Orleans before? I haven't. Okay,
so I go tomorrow. Well by the time this episode
comes out, I'm there tomorrow, and uh, I don't have
a whole lot of time to to you know, mess
around whatever, because I'm gonna have uh I got things
to do. But I do have a little time on

(02:52):
Wednesday night, and I plan to go. I just want
some good food. Somebody said, don't go to Bourbon Street
unless you want it's it's like the Deep album basically, yeah,
And I'm like, I don't I don't care about the Bellum.
I haven't been debelm in five years or whatever.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Uh so what.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Would you suggest that?

Speaker 5 (03:07):
I don't know. I was gonna say, I mean, depending
on where you want to go.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
I mean, I want to find a good hole in
the wall.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Okay, maybe I was gonna say it to be honest
with you because, Uh, Sarah remember she went to school there,
so she had recommended me a place called I think
it was off of No.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
You know, I should ask Crazy? Who's Crazy? Crazy from
the Five Four Boys?

Speaker 6 (03:35):
Yeah, he's from uh you Long Orleans.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
These random characters. Now this is.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
He's a rapper. He did uh wobble wobble, shake and
shake It is that the one? Or is the other wabble?
There's like two wobble wobbles, Wobble Wobble. It's the five
of four Boys.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
And then the song is called wobble. Yeah, yeah, all right,
like a special needs rap group. It was Master p.
Uh no, it was it was Master P in there,
so he wasn't in it, but there were Yeah it
was the same yeah, same record label. Wobble Wobble. Uh
you've heard the song before? Why no?

Speaker 6 (04:13):
You grew up in California, so maybe not wobble wobble,
h five or four boys. It goes like this, So
it goes a little something like this.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Five or four boys probably had a chance.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
You ever heard that song? It doesn't it's not writting
a bill, Okay, but you have to imagine it's probably
the music video filled hose dancing probably, yeah, I think so. Yeah,
it was of video tables. Yes, yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:49):
Larry David complaining about master pH is a good friend.
He was actually he was on had an interview the
other day and he mentioned crazy, how crazy is man?
Like a loyal you know, friend to him and all
this stuff throughout the years, and you know they hang
out with Snoop Dogg all the time and Craze never
invites me knowing that's my you know, make a wish
and uh but uh whatever. I'm not mad about it.

(05:11):
But that's a good idea. I'll either Tex Sarah or
Crazy and the place crazy in here. He needs to
come back. Yeah, it's been a couple of years since
we had him in what place?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Does she say?

Speaker 5 (05:21):
Oh, it was off of I think, Oh forgot, I
forgot what shot it is. I don't know if it's
like is it Popeyes? No, it sounds pretty good.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
I love that chicken from Pop Pye.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
I know they have actually their own chain of like
chicken strip joint.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Okay, so it's actually pretty good that where you went.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
That's where. Yeah, we went there the like I think
the first time we were there. I can't I don't know.
I can't remember the name of it. I don't know
if it's like Butcher Street or something like that.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
I think there's something like that. Yeah, some guy told me,
he goes, don't go to this street unless you want to.
He goes, you know, just to get the experience. Yeah,
I don't care about experience. I went about food. I
think that's what he said, like Butcher Street or something. Yeah,
the Butcher Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
That's what she recommended you. But there was a there
was a there was a restaurant there, but the only
cell Burgers. And I'm like, I don't want to tell
you to go there.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
No, I want gumbo. I want some some gator food. Gumbo,
get gator here. You know.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
There's a place down the street. Well, we went and
had gator. That's a flying fish.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
There's also Doties. Yeah, they go.

Speaker 8 (06:26):
I'm not sure because like it's been a while since
I've actually eaten cajun.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
It turns down and somebody who only eats gator only
eat gator meat. What weird? It's good. Arkle likes they're
on the dinosaur diet prehistoric meat. Well, it's basically bird
right because they all turned into birds. Chickens are birds. Yeah,
it tastes I mean I want to go tastes like chickens.

Speaker 6 (06:52):
All the stuff I can get here, right, but I
want to get it fresh where they pull out of
the swamp, you know, the nastiest swamp.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Food.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Right.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
I want to see the body swimming it. I want
to hear what. I want to see the army that
the alligator, you know, ate the person and the arms
floating there. That's the real That's what I want. The
real stuff is that the only reason why you're going
to New Orleans is for no, no, no, I have
to work out there. Okay, you know it's a big deal.

(07:20):
I got to I've got to travel with a bunch
of equipment. Never travel with this much. I was trying
to guess how much this bag over her way, so
I put it on the scale before the show.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Is forty pounds. Oh my gosh, But I think I've
narrowed it down to all the equipment I have to
bring up in three bags. I got a big bag
I'm going to check.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
I got a small camera bag that's gonna go in
the overhead, and I've been practicing. Can I lift this
bag into the overhead. But I'm been going without pulling anything,
and I can do it. It's very easy, not very easy,
but I can do it. Prove it well.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I got it.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Also, I'm on a flight with one of the other
guys that's going it's like the like the main guy
we have to be on flight, so I might just
have him. I think I pulled something in my back
Would you might help me out with this?

Speaker 2 (08:05):
There you go.

Speaker 6 (08:06):
That's my backup plan, and then the and then my
backpack just with my clothes, which my clothes already packed.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Have any of you I'll ever traveled in a plane
with like no luggage? Yeah, clarkd Yeah, I have went
to Vegas done it.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
I've done it. Actually twice. I went to a funeral
when I was like flying out, went to the funeral
and flew back. So yeah, I've done it.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
That's great. I love it.

Speaker 6 (08:31):
Yes, you don't have to worry about I usually just bring
a backpack. That's all I have, and I've thrown it.
But because I have to bring all this equipment, I
don't like checking bags because I don't like waiting or
it's a lot I got. I bought fifteen different air
tags to tag every single thing, just to make sure.
But I'll have the cameras at least with me. So
the only way I'll lose those if you know, everything

(08:52):
goes down, but.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
You go to New Orleans this weekend right Wednesday through Friday. Okay,
So whenever I hear New Orleans, I think of the
movie heard Target. You've seen that with Van vandam Kancake Risk.
People are hunting the homeless for sports and only Van
Dam can stop them. And that's what I think of.

(09:14):
All right, real quick, well let me just talk about it.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Let me let me rant about this real quick, because
I just downloaded the iOS twenty six beta for the iPhone.
I really just downloaded it because I like the call
screening feature where like if you don't have the number
save in your phone, you can turn it on to
where if they're not in your contacts, like an I
don't know, I don't even know how it works. But

(09:37):
from there, from their point of view, I guess something answers.
It says, hey, we'd like to pass you through to
this person, but who are you and what do you
call them for it? Basically, and then you're not even notified,
like this is just kind of happening in the background.
And then once they give you that information, it'll pass
it through to you and you can decide whether or
not you want to pick it up or not, which which,
by the way, somebody told me the Android had that

(09:57):
for like ten years. Yeah, but I like, and I
wanted it because I get a lot of spam calls
and uh and if I remove somebody from my phone,
maybe I just don't want to have them call me.
So now it'll be like, what do you want? And
if it's uh important, I'll pick it up.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
What software upgrade is it? What number? iOS twenty six?

Speaker 5 (10:15):
I don't know if that mean that would help at all,
because I mean, like they always say, like even if
it's a collector or someone trying to like, you know,
sell you something, they're all like, oh, well, this is
an urgent matter, you know.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
It's yeah, But if it's like a robot, if they
say urgent matter though you think Mike's picking up.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
I don't know, are you, Mike?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
No, it's urgent.

Speaker 5 (10:33):
What would you do?

Speaker 6 (10:34):
Well if I don't know the number it says urgent matter,
I'm not going to pick it up. Oh like, I
don't know anybody with a five oh one area code
file four five four boys.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah, I know five it's boys. Yeah, Oh it's boys.
Wobble wobble. Uh, it's master P you know calling me
of course, the password webb webble. I don't know. It's
the robotic calls or whatever.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
These you know, these telemarketers are on us, you know,
they're they're not even Their success rate is very low,
so they had to get through a lot of calls
in a day. So the callers, you know, picking just
if nobody answers, or you get a voicemail or something,
it's going to register as a voicemail or whatever, and
it's going to go ahead and either click or they're
gonna be like, I'm not wasting my time with this.
They're not gonna pick up, and they're gonna they're gonna
go to the next call, because time is of the essence, right,

(11:17):
So it does. I haven't got one sales call since
I've had this thing turned on. However, I did turn on.
This is the thing that I don't like about it.
There's nothing groundbreaking about this software, by the way, But
the one thing I do like is they, uh, well,
I turned it on. I didn't know if I was
gonna like it or not. They have like an AI
workout coach, oh for Apple workouts, So I'm like cool.

(11:40):
In my mind, how I think it's going to work is, Hey,
you only need two hundred and fifty more calories to
break your goal from yesterday. Keep going another mile or
do another mile today, and you know those kind of
things to help you break your goal. Right, That's what
I would imagine a coach does, right I.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Yes, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (11:59):
So I I was using it the other day. All
it does is just read your your stats of what
you've done today in like a positive voice.

Speaker 2 (12:06):
So yeah, that's it.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
So it's like, great job, you closed your rings today
to talk to me. That's what I was hoping I
wanted to do. Hey, your pat your fat piece of whatever,
keep walking I be while you're getting off.

Speaker 8 (12:20):
I've bet in the future you'll be able to like
download the personality of the drill sergeant from a full
metal jacket.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
I went the one from uh gomer pile. See, I
went high. It's pretty much the same person.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
Yeah they stole well, I'm pretty sure they stole it
from the marine. Oh yeah, maybe who was first gomer
pile of Marines? I went sergeant Pain, Yeah, sergeant.

Speaker 8 (12:52):
Pain, major major Pain.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Yeah, what's what's higher rank? Sergeant or major? Major? Major
is an officer? I want Dan, that'd be a good CoA.

Speaker 6 (13:03):
But imagine, so I'm downstairs on the treadmill and I'm
watching Star Trek or always Sundy. By the way, all
those shows started like this past week.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
And they're all great.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Yeah, I put it on my little stand and I
push play it and I'm walking and within five minutes,
congratulations you closed your rings today. And it mutes the
you know, it lowers the volume of the thing, and
you can't bypass the audio now, so I have to
rewind back to see what I'm missing on the thing
because the volume goes out. Because sometimes if you tell Siri,

(13:33):
like if you got a phone call and you say
you're like you have an incoming phone call, you could
be like shut up and then just go away.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
But with here.

Speaker 6 (13:40):
You can't do it. I'm over here yelling shut up
in the gym downstairs.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Shut up.

Speaker 6 (13:44):
It's not doing anything. And then and then you get
off the treadmill. Stop everything you did great today. You
walkedero point five miles in thirty minutes twenty seven sec
or whatever. Yeah, it's always going very slow. Yeah, I'm
just walking. I'm not trying to run. I'm not doing
a marathon over here. No, I could do I could
do a mile and nineteen minutes walking.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
So very interesting walking. You realize the Epstein list is missing. Yeah,
I was trying to find that issue. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
My point is there's no all it is is reading
your stats you get on your watch at the end
of the workout. Anyway, it's just being like positive about it.
If you did a terrible workout, it's still going to
be positive about it. So what's the point of that feature.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
It does it already with notifications once you finished the
workout exactly.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
It's just doing more of it.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
No stop, it's like, congratulations, you did so good today.
You did this, and you know you did Maybe maybe
it'll tell you like you did two miles more this
week than you did last week. Something like that, but
you already get that summary on your trends, on your
health app or whatever.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Encouragement.

Speaker 6 (14:47):
So I don't need that. I don't want to encourage.
But I want you to tell me I'm doing a
terrible job. I want you to tell me that, you know,
I need to stay on there longer. Why am I
being a lazy pos Yeah, it's what I want to.
I want you to call me names, spit on me,
want you to urinate on me.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
You can just hire one. Oh yeah, like an hour
probably be more. You know, the pricess. You know it's
a good guess. Hey, y I get approached. Yeah, you
look like a guy that they would come up to.
That saw an interesting commercial o'clock in the morning. Oh YouTube. Yeah,
they were trying to get me to marry an Asian woman.

(15:24):
And it was just a random commercial on a YouTube
video a mail order bride.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
That's something like, yeah, well those ads go off of
your search history, so yeah, just outed yourself.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah Asian brides, all that stuff turned off because it
won't even recommend me videos anymore. It's like, turn on
your whatever that is if you want us to recommend videos.
I don't.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
I don't need recommendation like like, we don't know who
you are sort of something everything at you do.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Get some weird commercials. All right, Devin, your score of Superman.
Score out of what's the scale one to ten? One
to ten, and give it a good solid six. Okay, six,
that's not encouraging. I thought the action and Man of
Steel was better. I like, you know, like that's not good. So,

(16:13):
but I liked Lex. I thought he was one of
the meanest Lexes of all the Superman movies. He really
hated Superman. You could tell, you could feel it. A
lot of yelling going on. He was very bald, he
was good. I didn't like Crypto and not really a
dog guy. So that dog was very annoying.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
And yeah, you felt like you were the like you
were babysitting the dog. Yeah, during the movie, you're like,
get out of what is this dog doing here?

Speaker 2 (16:37):
And I didn't like the fact that once they you know,
they released a video showing that Superman's parents were evil,
the whole planet just believed it, like, oh, we've seen
a TikTok video that's not we hate Superman now, that's
all we needed.

Speaker 6 (16:49):
Yeah, just saved like a whole like a whole community
and they saw on TikTok or whatever, yeah, this this news,
and they immediately turned on him.

Speaker 8 (16:56):
But they were like, they're like, hey, Superman, thanks for
saving and uh saving us. But then they saw that
like his dad owned like a replica General Lee car
in the background.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, and then they immediately just hated the guys start racist. Yeah, confitround, Yes,
I agree.

Speaker 6 (17:16):
I think I gave it like an eight out of
ten or something, only because I like the popcorn at
the movies, the popcorn. But it was the more I
think about it, the more I probably won't watch it again.
It was like Guardians of the Galaxy with Superman, Like
I don't know, the first Superman movie should include all
those I I'd be very upset if I saw The
Dark Knight and it was like the Justice League was

(17:38):
also there, you know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (17:40):
Like the Dark they said they were done with that.
They said they said they were done with it.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
No, they're gonna get there's the Justice Gang in there,
the Justice Get they said they were done with like
the whole Superman backstory. Oh yeah yeah, And I'm and
I here, and I don't think there was an I
don't think there was a backstory. Yeah, fine, we skipped that,
but then we added a bunch of characters. I mean
they were all great, by the way, don't get me wrong, Okay,
but I'm just like, I'm there for Superman. I'm not
there for Superman and Friends.

Speaker 8 (18:05):
I think what DC is trying to do is they're
trying to capture that magic that they have with their
animated series, because you know, they'll just make a movie
with They're like, hey, here's the movie, here's all these characters.
And there will be sometimes where I'm like, I'm watching
one of the animated series and I'm like, Okay.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Who who is this hawk woman with the She's in
there too? She is, Yeah, mister Terrific's in there. A
great character.

Speaker 6 (18:28):
I'm pretty sure that the actor just studied Robert Ddy
Junior in Tropic Thunder.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
But I think, I mean, I liked that. I think
it's a good Superman. It's it's fun.

Speaker 6 (18:38):
It's like the Zack Snyder Superman was always like depressed,
you know what i mean, just kind of angry all
the time. He was more Man than super right, But
Superman is supposed to be like the boy scout. He's
supposed to be Hope. Was it Hope Justice in the
America way or whatever? You know, he's like a happy
guy and he's like a boy scout and helping people.
We never really saw that from the other Superman, which

(19:01):
it's not him. You saw it with Christopher Reid, but
you didn't see that with and Brandon Ruth or Route
whatever his name is. Yeah, but we never really saw
it with Snyder's Superman. And it wasn't because of him,
it was because.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Of the right. So I was done with boy scout Superman.
You want to see school with a pissed off Superman. Yeah,
he's just mad at everything I do. An evil one
and it only lasts a little bit. Justice League had
the evil Superman. Yeah, with the black suit hot minute. Yeah,
but I didn't even notice the difference. Like he was
mad the entire time, the entire Snyder verse, he was
mad all the time. I'm even mad too, because Amy

(19:30):
Adams wasn't even a great reporter. He really mad. Hey,
can I get into sir?

Speaker 6 (19:36):
You're the CEO of a oil thing that blew up
in the ocean, are you? Can I talk to you
about all the lives that you are affecting right now?

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Yes? And the guy's like, no, I can't talk to
you right now. Okay, Jimmy Olsen returns. He was good.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
Oh the guy played Jimmy. I love this actor. I
think his name is Skylark. Incredible, he's super funny, he's a
great Uh. I think it was a great Jimmy Olsen.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Good, Yes, Supergirl go ahead.

Speaker 8 (20:01):
Well I was gonna say, uh, at least this time, Jimmy,
Jimmy Olsen's not a secret agent.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Right right, Yeah, he was just a regular he worked
for the paper. That's it ridiculous? Uh, super superagent?

Speaker 8 (20:14):
Well yeah, and then he gets killed. It's like, hey,
I'm Jimmy Olsen. I'm a because because he was in
that outpost and then he gets blacked and then that's.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
The thing we're like, is that is that like a nod?
Is that fan service? Because that's terrible. Screw Jimmy us.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
But I thought I think Devin and I talked about this,
and I don't think he agrees with me. But I
thought this was like the best iteration of Lewis Lane
since the first yeah that says the first lowest lane.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
I thought a better Lois would have been Kathy Bates.
It'll been cool to see a plump, elderly woman. He
is Superman. Go, you don't care what she looks lame
because she has a super heart. Yeah, she has a
super personal Keano's girlfriends like, I don't know eighty but
he's a good.

Speaker 8 (20:57):
But he's like eighty two Common Nation a superman and shallow.
How something that's gonna work?

Speaker 2 (21:04):
But uh, you didn't like the Leis Lane, right, she
was kind of boring, but she she.

Speaker 6 (21:09):
Had that personality of like, I am a reporter, I'm
gonna get the story. I'm not scared of anything. That's
what Lewis Lane should be. It was way different than
Amy Adams, you know, scared of everything, Superman rescue me type.
And again it wasn't Amy. I love Amy Adams, it
just was not. The writing of those movies were not
great in my opinion.

Speaker 2 (21:25):
But the slow motion was dope. Oh my god, those movies. Uh,
the bit slow mo. I was hoping you would go
a little bit longer so I could find the slow mo. Here.
Oh here it goes slow mode.

Speaker 6 (21:34):
So we went aft all like Zach's every ten seconds
of a Zack Snyder movie.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
It would it would just be like that. It would
be like this just slowed out Supergirl though. Supergirl, Yeah,
we don't see it to the end. That's a yeah.
I don't give anything away, but you know she's everything.
She's pregnant, she was a miss Yeah eight months. Needles
still sticked out of her arm. It's crazy how to

(21:59):
get those needles in? She's still playing b doesn't work
on super Girl. But she has to fly to the
Red Sun to get a drunk. That was I guess
in the comics, that's what it makes sense. Where does
she have to go to get hot a green sun?
All right, people, I'm here as you dropped the mike

(22:19):
jokes that don't work? Yeah special, Yeah, we haven't used
that some of them all in a while, but I
love it.

Speaker 6 (22:30):
Yeah, all right, Well again, are you planning on the
Sea of Eric? No because of our review or just
because you weren't interested to begin with.

Speaker 5 (22:39):
I kind of wasn't interested, but now I'm even more interesting.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
It's a it's a way till it comes on Max
watching you watch it on your watch? Yeah, I was
intended to be on your Max to Apple one. You
still got your Tamagachi. Yeah, watch it on that? All right?
Worry back.

Is this season one Devin. Yeah, season one. It's called
data Lore this episode.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
So what's great about having Devin around now is he's
my point of reverence for any old show because he does.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
These reviews on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (26:11):
Oh really, and.

Speaker 6 (26:12):
So uh he will do like a night Writer recap
and to promote his comedy shows. Yeah, and by the way,
the other one you did not too long ago or
this week, the one you release this week.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
It's really funny. Yeah, I do a recaps, but they're
not actually, they're not always accurate. Sometimes I'll change the
storyline and I think it is something funnier. So it's
like drunk history. Yeah, with the.

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Previously recaps, you know that kind of thing, and they
and they go viral these videos. So like when we're
talking about so, I'm supposed to We'll see if this happens,
but I'm supposed to tomorrow, I think, uh direct a zoom
session with Kerry Means for our new night Writer videos
we're about to do. So he's going to record the

(26:55):
first script tomorrow. And uh, what was I going with that?

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (27:01):
In the original script we had, I sent it to
a couple of people to have them look at it,
and everyone thought it was pretty good, except Devin goes,
you can't use this part because Kit's not like this
kit has this or whatever.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
I'm like, oh, you're right, so we changed it. Yeah
you had kid getting his someone keyed his car, right,
but you can't scratch kids. He's like, he has the
molecular bonded alloy.

Speaker 6 (27:23):
And then I was like, I'm thinking about tenthing the
night Rider car, but on the show the car windows
are not tented, so maybe I shouldn't do it. And
he goes, yeah, they have a button you push and
the ten's the windows, so he know I don't even
have to rewatch the show.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
He's got it.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
So can you get can you get that installed where
like they have that electricity where he flows to this?

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I see that
on That would be cool.

Speaker 5 (27:45):
That would be cool.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Do his push a button?

Speaker 5 (27:47):
Yeah? Do it?

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Do you think they have that for cars? You can
make it for cars, Yeah, they do, because I know
there's BMW's with it, like that come with it or
I just get those things.

Speaker 6 (27:55):
Whatever they put on the transition lenses so when it's
in the garage it's clear, and then whatever you ge
out in the sun and gets super dark.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Every time you go under a bridge. Yeah, I can't see.

Speaker 6 (28:04):
Yeah, because season one they had it was season one
and two they had those uniforms right on next gen.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Yeah, the skin tight uniforms permanently, you guys, think of
that sweater.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
I'm really trying to you know, the other day, I
was kind of I thought it was over it. But
I think I'm gonna try to get Terry on the
show again. I just there's just so much I want
to talk to him about. And I mean we're gonna
be in Vegas in a couple of weeks. Anyway, I
might try to stalk them again and be like, listen.

Speaker 5 (28:33):
Okay, but don't be so like Stockery though, Yeah, what
do you? How do how do you?

Speaker 6 (28:37):
How should I do it? Let's let's rehearse though. Pretend
you're Terry. Just yeah, Terry, all right, I'm coming up.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
Okay, Oh yes, think you They'll be five hundred dollars
for signature. You know, I dip a card.

Speaker 6 (28:48):
So hey, Terry, you remember me two years ago you
said you were gonna come on the show. Come on
the show, yo. So here's what I want to do.
I'm gonna getr autograph. Wn' you just signed this little
uh Monkeys DVD cover? I got you and Todd yeah
because uh, what's his name?

Speaker 8 (29:04):
Todd?

Speaker 2 (29:05):
Yeah? Todd yeah, because he was actually on the show.
And then my.

Speaker 5 (29:08):
Handler comes over here and grabs it and says, hey,
you gonta pay first.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Oh yeah, I'm sorry. That's my bad. So here here's
how much is it? Two hundred? Here you go. You're
talking about Terry Gilliam. Uh No, Terry Metallis from Terry
gilliam Is. Who the uh you said twelve Monkeys?

Speaker 6 (29:22):
He directed to Terry Terry Uh Metallis did the Twelve
Monkeys on sci Fi?

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Yeah, the CVS TV show. I never Yeah the show.

Speaker 6 (29:32):
Okay, so uh and apparently has a huge cult following.
I bought the DVD's. I'm trying to like, I should
have been done with it by now, but it's still on. Like,
you know, halfway through season one.

Speaker 2 (29:41):
You're watching the eight movies, right the Planet of the Apes.
I was.

Speaker 6 (29:43):
I was in a I was in a Planet of
the Apes thing, and then I've hit a roadblock.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
So eight block.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
It's basically what happened was I was buying them as
I go off of Fandango at home or we used
to be with Voodoo and they were seven dollars. So
I've already watched all the new right, But there's a
way you can watch if you watch them in order,
which is you watch the new ones first, you throw
away the two thousand and one one with Tim Burton,
and you watch the old ones after the latest new one,

(30:12):
which is kind of hard because you know, the production
quality is quite different. Yeah, but if you just suspend
that for a little bit and just watch it all.
So I'm two episodes, are two movies into the original
plan of the apes. I was gonna watch the third one,
and now Fandango raised the price to twenty dollars, and
the movies are not worth twenty dollars.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Now, I could go rent it, but.

Speaker 6 (30:33):
It takes me a week to get through these movies anyway,
So the rent's gonna be you know what I mean,
I'm gonna start watching it, and yeah, I'll stop it
and I'll forget about it, and then I come back
to it.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
I gotta rent it again. That price is outrageous, So
I'm just.

Speaker 6 (30:43):
Gonna wait till they go on another sale, and then
I'm gonna buy the rest of them. I think there's
three or four more movies, but that's the order you're
supposed to watch them at. So I was doing that,
and then I'm but now I don't really have much
to watch except for I should watch twelve Monkeys to
try to get as far as I can the next
few days or next few weeks.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Back to Terry, I'm sorry, Oh yeah, sorry playing. I
was just proud.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Yeah, I think, yeah, I remember you.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
Yeah, yeah, I was tearing up talking about you know, uh,
the card, And remember I followed you to a couple
of conventions. I saw that you canceled the moment we
actually showed up there, You didn't. You weren't actually there.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
I went.

Speaker 6 (31:19):
I went to shot Chicago, and you weren't there. I
went to Dallas, you weren't there. And yeah, so here
you are now though you're right here in front of me.

Speaker 9 (31:27):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (31:27):
Yeah, I had a personal personal matter.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
What happened.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Yeah, I thowt your you know, your dog went into
the hospital.

Speaker 6 (31:36):
Yeah that's all. Yeah, yeah, I heard about that. Yeah,
I mean, did Todd did Todd? Did Todd? Did Todd
tell you that he was on the show? We did great,
and we're not stalkers. Did Todd tell you that?

Speaker 5 (31:48):
No, I haven't talked Todd actually, and Todd, let me.

Speaker 6 (31:50):
Get it, let me get Let me text Todd. I
don't think he knows I have his number. Yeah, let
me text him right now.

Speaker 5 (31:55):
I've been working on a few other projects. I haven't
got a chance to talk Todd.

Speaker 6 (31:57):
So, hey, Todd, remember that the favorite I did for you?
Can you do me a favor? I think he's gotta
be a block alone, so I don't think that's Stockers
at all. I think that'll be fine. I think I
did good. I think I handled myself.

Speaker 5 (32:10):
Did you have me in the background like film?

Speaker 6 (32:16):
I'm miked up with his light that's blaked. I'll just
have the I should probably have like the meta sunglasses
on with a little light on. Yeah, that's even more
stockersh sunglasses. By the way, we didn't get the clear one,
so there's sunglass I'm wearing inside with a bright light
showing that it's recording. No, I don't, I don't do that.
I'm gonna go get his thing and I'm be like, hey, Terry,

(32:37):
that ready how you started? Actually say a little bit differenive?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Hey man?

Speaker 6 (32:41):
Oh yeah, listen, I shouldn't say listen, hey man, I
don't know if you remember me, but I have a
show in Dallas. We had tought on.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Why don't you say, I don't know I got a
night rider car.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Just just just say, hey, you're on our show, you know,
and I see you.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
No that he wasn't on our show. Oh yeah, that's
what the whole point, that's all I'm trying to get him.
What if I start like this because I was, here's
here's what's crazy. I don't know that I talked about
this on the show when I met Terry two years
ago whatever, when we went three years ago, whatever it was,
I told Terry I'm working on getting a night rider
car or something like that. We talked about Louren. We thought,

(33:18):
so I really want to get a.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Night ride car.

Speaker 6 (33:20):
A year to the day that I talked to Terry,
my night writer car got delivered to my house a
year to the day.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Cool.

Speaker 6 (33:28):
So maybe I start with that, Hey, Terry, I don't
know if you remember me. I have a show in Dallas,
and what.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
The remember me? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (33:36):
Wh I know?

Speaker 6 (33:37):
But I want to say that I want to bring
that up, like we've talked before, so that when I
say that you promised me something. It doesn't sound weird,
like he's like, who's this guy?

Speaker 2 (33:43):
Does he not want to come on the podcast? Obviously
not vexed him? How many times?

Speaker 6 (33:48):
Well, let's see, I followed him at least three or
four different locations around the country. We sent as publicists
an email two or three times.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Be a shrine right behind him.

Speaker 6 (33:57):
Yeah, that was a Terry Metallis shran Todd saw it
said it wasn't weird.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
That's cool.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
But I'm kinda so if I go back and I
go we talked about having night Rider car. I'm looking
for somebody to do the inside. Do you know somebody?
And then we could be.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Like, hey, by the way, I think we talked about
having you come on the show. We look at this,
I'm goodding, I'm in the zone.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
That sounds Hey.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I think we talked about having a show. Couple we
didn't get you on.

Speaker 6 (34:21):
I'll tell you what, who's your is your publisher so
and so is they still the same publisher?

Speaker 8 (34:24):
Cool?

Speaker 6 (34:25):
Let me email her Monday. I won't say today. Let
me get Monday, and then maybe we can set up
a day and then you figure out what works for
you and we just get you on or heck you
want to fight to your house.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Because he knows that you had taught on, right you
tell last I told.

Speaker 6 (34:42):
I didn't tell him because we had taught on after
the fact. The reason why I had Todd don't tell Todd.
The reason why we had don't tell nobody to tell
Todd this safe place we're only talking amongst ourselves. Yes,
the reason why we had Todd on well a, he
did great as Captain Shaw, but part of the reason
was I was hoping to get him and so Terry
doesn't think I'm a creep. Yeah, and so that he
has there's like, hey, yeah, my buddy Todd was on

(35:03):
the show. They did great, and he was he likes Michael.
He even called Michael afterwards for a favor, which I did.

Speaker 5 (35:10):
So see you plug all that whenever you talk to him,
whenever you.

Speaker 6 (35:14):
I just hope John Delancy doesn't he had Terry blocked
me this time.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
So I'm trying to, like talk, I'm paying my money
to talk to Terry and John's looking at me like
when are you going to be done so I can
finish talking to him?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yeah, boy, get out of here.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
There's not they're not going to be a star Trek
Legends right now, you don't worry about get out of here.
I'll come to your table if I want to talk
to you. This is my time with Terry. I paid
my forty dollars. I earned my time here. But anyway,
that's it.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
That sounds good.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Yeah, I think that's what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 5 (35:44):
He we had Todd on you know, like you went
very well. Yeah, you know, we want to have you
on whatever.

Speaker 6 (35:48):
Whatever Vanissa was on I think season three, right, so
it's like, hey, we were friends with Vanessa Cator and
remember do.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
You remember here? Let me get it.

Speaker 6 (35:57):
Let me show you up my wallpaper. Here's a picture
of her half naked from that one movie. Should Yeah,
So I think I think we can do that, and
I can do it in a way. I think you
should just be with Let's not film it or record it,
because there's no point I'm not going to play it.
But maybe you come in line with me and you
talk about hopefully we'll go first thing in the morning.

(36:19):
We'll walk in just like we did the last time.
Hopefully he's there. We'll walk up and we'll do the
exact same thing. Watch him cancel. Now that we talked about,
we're confirming we're going to be there and then and
then we shoot a video. We have a plan for
a video, and then and then we get dinner and
fly home easy.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
What time do you fly out there?

Speaker 5 (36:40):
Are seven?

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Oh, you're there late. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:43):
I think that's the only fight I really could find.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
So you think you can find the five o'clock five thirty,
that's the time we use it. So you fly back
to Dallas at like midnight?

Speaker 9 (36:51):
Hm?

Speaker 6 (36:52):
Really well, I mean I'm over here going to be
back here at ten thirty. But uh, you know what
happened last time, so I could I could be flying
back with you at the same time.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Yeah, wait, yeah, that was ridiculous. And then I read that, Yeah, but.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
It was so just we were so tired by the
time we got there, was we couldn't Eric and I
record those lines. Clark put his feet all over the
bed that I was going to sleep on, and.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
Uh yeah, mattress, mattress.

Speaker 6 (37:21):
And then he uh so I I once we got
out of the Ru'm like, hey, we're in Vegas. That
it's like one o'clock in the morning. We're all done,
And I said, we're in Vegas. You guys want to
go downstairs. Both these guys now, I'm good, I'm gonna
go to bed, which I get it, but I'm like,
I'm gonna go downstairs. I go downstairs, having me a
little snack and stuff. I'm sitting there and my brain

(37:43):
is short circuiting, like literally, my vision's going out. It's
like this is and I'm like it's a dream and
I'm alive. We're just so exhausted. So I'm like, you
know what I need to go buy back up stab.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
I went to sleep, and then uh, I got back
because Eric says, I'm going straight to sleep.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
Now. Eric and I are sharing.

Speaker 6 (38:02):
We have a conjoined room with the door right, so
I can hear when he's in the bathroom or I'm sorry,
I can hear when he's in the shower. So he's like,
I'm going straight to bed. That's what he said. I've
been downstads for thirty minutes. I came up.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Eric's in the shower. Could have been down there with
me short circuiting.

Speaker 5 (38:20):
If I went down there, and then I would him
in the shower.

Speaker 6 (38:22):
Yet, that's true, you would have had gone a bit later.
And then I thought all these got for some reason.
I forget you guys are kind of early risers. I'm not,
but they were all up before I was in the
morning and they're like, hey, are you We're ready?

Speaker 2 (38:32):
I'm doing it, Clark. I probably I had this coffee
or whatever. And so guy's gotten nine to five. Yeaheah,
I wake up at five thirty. I'm an artist.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
I go to I go to sleep late at night
and I wake up, you know, as late as I can.
Society will let.

Speaker 8 (38:44):
Me, Like I even went to bed at three o'clock
when I still woke up at five thirty in the
morning that day last night.

Speaker 2 (38:51):
Oh, okay, would you do until three o'clock in the morning? Well,
I napped through the whole day. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (38:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Guess what I started my vacation yesterday?

Speaker 5 (39:00):
You made a sandwich?

Speaker 2 (39:02):
No, no, no, no, I did that. Oh you're on vacation.
That's right. I need to go buy some bread and
lunch meat. So what did you do?

Speaker 6 (39:09):
You just played GTA till the wee hours of the night. Wow,
I am So if you meet a girl out and
she goes, what do you do for your free time?

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Like? What do you do? Actually, I'm on vacation this week.
Talk to him, don't you remember? Yeah? But what if
you did? I don't. We're in a mirror universe and
you start talking to you goes, what do you do with?
What do you do? He goes, are you gonna go out?

Speaker 3 (39:29):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (39:29):
I told him? Why don't if a girl came up
to me and asked me, what do I do? You know?
What what do you do? I don't bother people? Get
out of here, scram I mean that's just what I
would say.

Speaker 6 (39:42):
You close your trash hanging around me too.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
That's true.

Speaker 8 (39:50):
But I mean I'm just saying like because everybody would
be like, well, that's not very interesting, and I'm like,
well that's what I do.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
I mean, have you seen on me? Then they go
have you seen interest rate? Are you this is what?
Are you a streamer? No? Do you what?

Speaker 6 (40:04):
So you just you're just doing it just to we
could fix Yeah, you can get a little at least
a streamer. Just say hey, I'm a streamer. I'm Clark
the middle aged Streamer, which by the way, is a
bit that I have written.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
And well, I mean it's a deal. Get a camera and.

Speaker 6 (40:18):
It's like chat chat. Should I get this calling oscy
or not chat chat, you know, just like middle age chat.
Thirty likes, Now go get this this flup checked out. Uh,
I think that could be really funny.

Speaker 2 (40:33):
Fifty likes. I'll chug this bottle of my lan. Yeah,
hundred bikes. I'll chuck this bottle. So it's real low likes.
By the way, there's only three people watching it.

Speaker 9 (40:42):
You know.

Speaker 8 (40:43):
It's the same person like logging in making a new
he's your name?

Speaker 2 (40:47):
Another one yeah, one like and i'll uh, I'll order that.
I'm not I'm not. My doctor said I'm not supposed
to have this cheeseburger. But one like and I'll eat it.

Speaker 5 (40:58):
Little bar.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
So, by the way, this is one thing that Eric
and I are both very upset about. It's a big
change that happened TSA.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Oh yeah, the shoes, right, you can. That's the whole
point of us getting pre check.

Speaker 5 (41:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (41:11):
I hate taking my shoes off, and back in the day,
especially when I was going to l A all the
time and I don't have any money. I'm wearing you know,
I only had one pair of socks or what I
had a couple at least, but you know, the day
that I happened to. I'm not thinking I'm putting just
whatever socks on. They're the ones that had holes in them.
I gotta take my shoes off, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
And so shoe bombs anymore, I'm still worried about shoe bomb.

Speaker 6 (41:32):
They I guess the shoe bomb doesn't exist anymore. I
think we did a guys misson accomplished doesn't exist.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
I predict the shoe bomb makes it comeback. What are
we talking about? TSA pre check?

Speaker 6 (41:44):
So now everybody doesn't have to remove as of this
week or last week, you don't have to take your
shoes off.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
I just always fine. So maybe the new I D
covers it, you know, the real ID. Yeah, because they're like, oh,
this guy's got a real idea. They sure they don't
have any shoe bombs. Yeah, his feet are fine. We
don't have to check him out.

Speaker 6 (42:01):
He's a good thing, though, is with TSA pre check.
I don't have to take the jacket off. Yeah, I
can keep my Adida's jacket on. But yeah, so that
I'm a little pissed off of that because that's why,
And you know, I again, at this point, it doesn't
matter because you can renew online right when you renew
your PreCheck, so it doesn't matter. But that whole interview
process you have to do in the very beginning was
such a pain. Also, I didn't have to pick my
shoes off.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
Yeah, well I think I may do because Kirby did
the trial for Clear and it was so much easier,
and you could bring them all your documents to do
your fingerprints there with them to sign up, Yeah, to
sign up and do everything with them, and it costs
pretty much the same, and I think you get a
little more.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
It doesn't.

Speaker 6 (42:36):
It's not the same. It's yearly and it's like one
fifty a year or something like that. But if I'm
ever at an airport, like my aunt was coming in
from Denver and TSA PreCheck line was so long and
so it was a regular one. So she signed up
for CLEAR right then and there, yeah, and then got
right through it.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Yeah, so I might do that. Yeah. I don't want
to be at the airport any longer than I have to.
I love the uh.

Speaker 6 (43:01):
I mean, I like to have my dinner, right, I
like to have my dinner. It doesn't take me long
to eat. I'm eating my stuff, and I want to
be at the gate. I don't want to sit down
more than ten minutes before we start boarding. I gotta
say this, I'm loving the new Dexter. Oh really, I
just watched the I guess the third episode yesterday last night.
Is this incredible Dexter really good. They know it was

(43:22):
a good Dexter. Dexter so Dexter, you know they did.
They did like a one off season.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
Maybe a better title, Dexter Dixter, Dexter Comma Dexter. That's
a good it's a good title.

Speaker 6 (43:35):
And no, it's so it takes place after that little
one off season because they had it to where he
quote unquote died. But I guess people didn't like that ending. Yeah,
so like, you know what, let's bring him back. It
was also it was kind of like open ended too,
yeah a little bit, and we thought maybe they would
do a show with his son and then Dexter would
be like Harry, I think that's what we predicted ghost.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (43:54):
But now and maybe that's still the way they're going
to go, but I it wouldn't be the same. Like
the kid's really good. The guy who play he's the
son Harrison, but now it's Dexter. He survives the gunshot wound,
and now, well, I mean that it's the whole point
of the show. It says Dexter resurrection or something. So then, uh,

(44:15):
they're all in New York City now on the third day,
so his son lives in. His son thinks he's dead.
Still they haven't met yet, so his son went to
New York City and uh so Dexter's you know, he
got the serial killer of the season. There's like three
plot lines going on, and then Bobby Ewing was taking
a shower and uh, it's it's really good. Like last

(44:39):
night's episode, I thought the kid was gonna so the kid,
I'm gonna spoil this, I guess. But the kid does
his first murder. But it's the way it's you have
to watch, right, So now murder, Yeah, I think it's
commit murder. I don't know, I don't know the Yeah,
that's what that's what OJ said. Yeah, I'm about this murder.

(45:04):
I Uh so he does that, and so Dexter kind
of already taught him some of the things that he
had learned. So anyway, now there's a because there's a
murder that happened, there's like a cop on the scene,
investigating this murder. It's all figures appointed to this kid,
and so I'm like, how they get Like the Dexter
show is really good at like cornering Dexter or whatever
or whoever, like you know Harrison in this example, and

(45:26):
then you're like, how are they going to get out
of us? And then somehow they figure out a way
to get out of it. That's why I love about it.
So I was like stressing out, like I've spent a
long time for the show has done that where I'm
like stressing out, like what's going to happen? So there's
that going on. There's like a a Society of serial
killer plot line going on as well. It's really really good.

(45:47):
I think Peter Dinklis is like the Uma Thurman's in this.
It's great.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
Beatrix. Yeah, I didn't finish the first episode, but I
did see that Dexter is still still seeing is a
his Gho's dead? Yeah, it goes doubts about James Reemer Cosby,
but he's still seeing Cosby. But no, his his dad
is is aging in that flight, his dad looks older. Well,
that's how it's kind of funny. I think that's how
he just thinks of him aging. You know, by the way, Devin,

(46:15):
you don't know this story. We had his dad on
the show out, so Eric and I interviewed him. This
is like, I don't know how many years ago now,
it wasn't like what my first like, it was on Skype.
That's how long ago was. Yeah, actually yeah, but it
wasn't video. It was just audio. Yeah. So and one
of our first interviews, I think.

Speaker 5 (46:34):
One of mind I was I was already preparing for
it because I was nervous.

Speaker 6 (46:37):
Yeah, And so we it was him and I. It
was like a random like Tuesday night, It'll be on
a bus stuf. I'll afford it to at some point.
But so we I show up. Eric's already there, He's worked,
he's got his questions out. I've worked on mine long
and the short Uh, he had the wrong number, the
calling number.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
He was off by a digit.

Speaker 6 (46:57):
So by the time we realized that, we em mind you,
we had a fifteen minute window with this guy. So
we figured it out maybe five minutes in, so we
still had ten minutes left in the time. So we
email him the correct number. He calls in and he
was like, uh, I don't think that I could. Uh,
I don't think that I could do this. I'm on
my way to a premiere. And I said, well, you

(47:19):
don't have to do it. We can do a quickie
if you want. We don't have to do this right now,
or we can do it real quick whatever you whatever
you want. He's like, uh, yeah, uh, let's go ahead
and do it now. So then we did, or he
calls back or something like that and he goes, I'm
in a car with other people yea and me.

Speaker 5 (47:35):
Yeah. It was like the question you asked, and then
that's where he was. He was like, what kind of
question is that? And he goes, yeah, I'm in a
car with other people.

Speaker 6 (47:41):
Yeah, and and uh So it's just a very awkwardly
this guy was not paying. But my whole thing was,
this is still in the fifteen minute window that we
had agreed upart. It'd be different if it was twenty.
You know, I was late, very late. He was still
supposed to be on the phone with us the whole time.
So if we didn't call, what was he going to do?

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Oh? Okay, So that was our whole thing.

Speaker 6 (48:00):
Anyway, he said Eventually he's like in the middle of
the interview, he's like, you know, guys, this is just
not gonna work. We'll do this another time, hangs up
the phone, then emails later on that evening and says, hey, guys,
I'm so sorry about the confusion. Blah blah blah blah blah.
Maybe we'll do it again, best wishes, whatever, one of
those things. So now all I see is when I'm
watching Dexter with that whole interaction, so personal beef with him,

(48:24):
not I mean he because he apologized and all that.
That's why I don't hate the guy. And it was
a great segment. Yeah, we literally the segment is Eric
and I playing clips of the interview and explaining what
happened in between. Is still one of my favorite bits.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (48:38):
I think I couldn't have asked for a more perfect
like interview. Ok, yeah, just the whole thing, just how
it went down, I know. Yeah, like I don't I
know this from Michael, but like how to embrace like
the the moment and then also like uh, the messy

(49:00):
the messinists, mess ups or like whatever as like gold
and so I look back and that I'm like, this
is like this is perfect.

Speaker 6 (49:08):
Yeah, that's why I asked, I said, I said, so
here's my first question. This is the first question I asked.
I said, you've been in this, you've been in there?
What have you not been in? You've been in everything?
Kind of a paraphrasing, but that's basically what I said,
what have you not been in? And this is what
he says. I And then he goes, what kind of
question is that? And then I say, but in my mind,

(49:30):
I'm like, that's not a I'm not asking you to
tell me exactly what you haven't.

Speaker 5 (49:33):
Been in rhetorical question.

Speaker 2 (49:34):
It's a rhetorical meeting, like this is what you This
is how you respond to that?

Speaker 9 (49:38):
Uh?

Speaker 10 (49:39):
You know?

Speaker 6 (49:39):
Yeah, you know, they laugh, thank you. Yeah, I've been
in a lot of different things. I've been blessed in
my career. I have been in a lot of things.

Speaker 2 (49:46):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (49:46):
And then I think I had like a follow up
question of what's a show that you have been in
that you want to be something like that.

Speaker 2 (49:50):
That's where I was kind of leading it to. Yeah,
but he did this instead, I you know, so what
else do we have here?

Speaker 9 (49:58):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (49:59):
That we got the little call because her Yeah he
was in a car with other people, with other people.
But yeah, right now, so but.

Speaker 6 (50:13):
It's a great I give Dexter Resurrection like ten out
of ten, ten out of ten.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Is it reminds? Oh? Yeah, I never liked Breaking Back?
Oh my god. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (50:23):
I wasn't breaking Back because there's too so for me.
This keeps my uh in, uh, my attention.

Speaker 2 (50:30):
There's no myth in the New Dickster. Shoot. It might
be I haven't finished it. It can't. I mean, you
can't put it above bringing Bed three three episodes in.

Speaker 6 (50:38):
Come on now, I've watched I was six episodes in
and Breaking Bad and I was like, I'm over it.
A teacher needs money, sick, he goes and does drugs
and try to make okay. That's that happens every day
in Oacliff. It's not an original story, you know. That
was my take on it.

Speaker 2 (50:53):
But all right, tough critic.

Speaker 6 (50:55):
Yeah, I just I've seen it before. You know, my
dad was a school teacher. He sold math, you know,
so it was one of those things. Some of my
siblings are crippled me. Oh, Jurassic World same. I give
the same score as Superman. I liked it almost as
I like Superman better eight out of ten, let's say, seven,

(51:16):
seven out of ten.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
But also as we've learned Michael's ratings out of ten
start at five because I'm neutral.

Speaker 6 (51:24):
Five Yeah, I mean, I mean if it does, if
it goes below five, it's really terrible. If there was
some show the other day, I watched it. It was just off,
oh uh Mickey seventeen trash.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
I didn't like it.

Speaker 6 (51:33):
I started five because I'm neutral. I'm trying to keep
an open mind. And then whenever if you go, if
you kind of blow me away a little bit, then
it goes up. If you if you do not exceed
my expectation, then it goes down. But I'm going to
give everyone an equal opportunity.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
You know. Jurassic World didn't like Martin Luther King said
it didn't have enough raptors for me, Like, I like
the Veloci raptors. I'm still waiting up for to have
like super smart raptors that have oozzi's and shoot, you
know stuff.

Speaker 6 (51:57):
You didn't like the the t Rex mutant mutant, but
I was gonna say something else, but don't.

Speaker 2 (52:03):
Yeah, they made like a mutant t Rex and it
looked like that.

Speaker 6 (52:06):
Hey, you guys like the Goodies Bully, but t Rex
for him?

Speaker 2 (52:10):
You did. Yeah, it kind of looked like people say
it looked like that monster from Star Wars, the from
the Sarlac Pit or something. Yay, I know what you're
talking about. Yes, a pit of the rain car. Yeah,
Scarlett Johansson. I thought her character was kind of mysterious,
like we know what she was. She should have been
Black Widow. Basically, she'd been like a crossover black Widow.

(52:30):
I think she was kind of like versus Dinosaurs would
have been cool. Yeah, I'll ease the new blade that
would have worked is he I heard they canceled it.
They're gonna bring back what's his fast but I don't
know if that's true or not.

Speaker 5 (52:43):
It is taxes.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
Yeah, I think he's good. Now they think he's good.
New one they should do like Jurassic Universe.

Speaker 6 (52:48):
He hypnotized all of us that he did, so, uh
but yeah, I mean I like that. Well I watch again,
Probably not, but I will. I'm a sucker for Jurassic
Park the next one. I'm gonna watch the next you
know went out to that. I'm gonna watch she to
World again. Yeah, I'm there planned. I like dinosaurs. I
like all what they're gonna do. Scarlet Jenhads was fine.
I thought the writing was you know, not great, the

(53:09):
dialogue was not great, But like Chad GBT wrote, like
maybe the first half of it, Uh Clark, how was
F one?

Speaker 2 (53:16):
It was good except for a lot of things, A
lot of things. So what'd you give it? One out
of ten? I give it like a six five six
point five best racing racing movie. You never see Days
of Theunder's. Nothing will ever beat Days of Thunder, not

(53:36):
even telligated Night. I was about to say that way
funnier than Days of Then well, I think it was
real life too that I don't even like wicky ball Nights,
but it's one of the greatest. I don't know what
to do with my hands.

Speaker 8 (53:49):
Yes, no, F one was was was good until I
noticed two things. Two things kind of ruined it for me.
One probably the most unnecessary romance in the history of cinema.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Without a doubt, really the love interest. Yeah, Bobby and
his wife or what, well, it's bride Pitt and I
don't want to give anything away, but like he's you know,
an old F one racer that gets back into the
sport later much later in life, and someone on his crew.

(54:23):
He strikes up our romance with Keady Bates.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
No, Candy Baits.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
He's trying to get her roles. He's his agent, her
agent she has, that's my thing she doesn't like.

Speaker 6 (54:34):
Yeah, I mean Matt Locke. Did they have the same
theme song on the new mattline?

Speaker 2 (54:39):
Matt lot Who's it's Candy Baits. I only like her
old works. I don't know about this she's putting out
so you like that Fried Green Tomatoes misery. But yeah,
she plays she plays Andy Griffin. Uh, she's She's and

(55:00):
the Griffith now barn. I like that. She wears a
white dress and everything. Good romance music.

Speaker 6 (55:07):
We should make that our whole music for the for
the studio line. Well right now, I think it's what
I say it was Mash and Batman is what Oh
what's a.

Speaker 2 (55:17):
That's a good mass hip.

Speaker 5 (55:18):
That's the new Mail.

Speaker 2 (55:20):
I think it's somebody they who did it? How they
do that?

Speaker 3 (55:24):
Hey?

Speaker 6 (55:25):
Yeah, what's the what's the area code from Maybury?

Speaker 2 (55:29):
I like that?

Speaker 6 (55:29):
Sarah Sarah kid me maut.

Speaker 2 (55:38):
F one better than speed racer. I never saw speed racer. Cal.
I think there were still brothers at that time. It
was still brothers. Well, no, they were always sisters. That's
what we gotta go. That's a debatable. Yeah, it's not
for us any who.

Speaker 3 (55:54):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (55:54):
The other thing that I didn't like like about it,
lill choked up here was every time you watched an
F one race, there was a there was commentary that
was going on, and you wouldn't think. It wasn't the
play by play person, and it wasn't the pit crew,
it was the PA announcer at the racetrack. So every

(56:20):
F one race was like the pod racing scene and
Star Wars Phantom Menace yep. And that was just terrible.
It got annoying or quick and then and then a
couple like the Hour the movie was two hours and
forty five minutes long, okay, and and thirty minutes of
previous what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Guys? Damn, what are we doing? Getting in the house?

Speaker 8 (56:41):
Thirty minutes of previous and commercials like what are we doing?
Like that's done.

Speaker 2 (56:45):
That's a lot. Yeah. There was another racing movie called
I think it was alled Dry was still Lone. You
remember that one.

Speaker 8 (56:52):
Vaguely back in the day. But I also know that
Ron Howard made a one call not powert Rush.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Yeah, Ron praise gone on right now.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
Early days.

Speaker 8 (57:09):
She has a very deep boy, there, keep going a
little deeper.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
There you go, there you go, and then the Metla
around here and prays.

Speaker 3 (57:26):
So this show is.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
Forgot canceled down.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
They canceled cober. Yeah. I hadn't used that in a while.
So you didn't know we had canthy bait. Yeah, if
you didn't know Kathy Bates, you would think that's it. Yeah, yeah,
all right, so h you didn't like it, road answers bad. Yeah,

(57:58):
it was too long, too long.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
I love a long movie, A long get a bet.

Speaker 8 (58:02):
Well. I mean, if we're making movies like you know,
Lawrence of Avrabia, I'm with you. But let's not make
three hour hunks please, because that's what we're doing. All right,
Let's increase the quality before we link in it. All right,
that's what I Yeah, that's my doctor said. Basically, I'm
saying girth overly.

Speaker 2 (58:23):
Right, Yeah, it's not about about size how you use
it right right.
