This is the FCB Radio Network,Real Talk worldwide online at FCB radio dot
com. Until your own talcophones. He rushed out, I break this up

(00:22):
to the brush. Welcome on tonecessary roughness. I'm Erica Rodriguez with me.
I got God Infinite and CD.Yeah all right, but going on
spectacular. They can't see me.But I'm doing a little dance right now.

(00:43):
You know what I'm saying? Justhow doing good? Its spectacular,
amazing, stupendous, incredible. I'mknowing, Say what how are you doing?
Ready? You know what I'm doinggood? You know I'm not doing

(01:06):
a dance. You have to paymoney to see me dance. You know
those those those are from a nighttimeactivities. But that's neither here nor there.
I don't know if there's a specificdance for elves. You know what?
You know what else else stands forlife? Uh? And in life
we have experiences and what we learnedfrom those experiences are worth more than the

(01:33):
simple in the moment, victories youmay or may not get on a field.
I am so glad you're talking aboutvictories. Thank you, see J
because my first topic, we're talkingabout the Browns who won against the tight
end twenty one thirty five. Theyhave improved nine out of three the first
times of money four Can this bethe nine out of three? Yes,

(02:00):
ken nine and three, nine andthree. Well, in all seriousness,
the Browns are they're doing they're doingwell. Okay, They're they're doing well
right now. To beat the Titans, that's a big game. That's a

(02:20):
big, big accomplishment. So uh, I mean, that's that's huge.
That's huge for them, and thatputs them in a very good position moving
forward. Uh. And here's theinteresting thing too, guards. Since Odell
has been hurt, the Browns havebeen looking significantly better. Man. Do
you think, and I'm kind ofstealing some of Erica stunting here, do

(02:44):
you think it might be time tomove Odell onto somewhere else? Man?
I hate to even have that conversation, but it's kind of crazy though,
right that we were playing this welland we're on such a streak. We're
on a wind streak, streak,we're streaking. Usually usually when you say
Browns and streak, that's a badthing. It means a new pair of

(03:07):
pants. So, oh gosh.Yeah, but the Browns are on the
street and without Odell and once againhoping he you know, speed of recovery
to him. But it looks likeBaker's not having to force the ball as
much, and you know, he'sstarting to spread spread the love around a
little bit more kind of reminiscent ofwhen he first got the chance to start.

(03:28):
Uh so should the Browns, I'mthinking they said, start looking to
move Odell. So here's the interestingthing with that though, is that more
a is that a Is that anOdell problem? Or is that a Baker
problem with trying him trying to forcethe ball to Odell and then getting you
know, picked off frequently, youknow what I mean? When when it

(03:51):
was happening, Um, you know, could it just be a mental thing
that he was like, oh,I gotta get the ball to him,
other than just like let's play thisgame and let me do my job and
put the ball with the best possibleoption on the field, you know what
I mean? Like that, that'skind of another part of this whole thing.
I think we were talking about that, you know, maybe a month

(04:13):
or so ago. I don't know, I don't know. I mean,
I hate to have that conversation becauselike he's still a special talent and you
know, I don't necessarily want tosay that we should get rid of anybody
that is a special talent, butmaybe that they have to do some They
have to go dig deep down anddo some internal fixing of things or maneuvering

(04:38):
some things to make sure that whenhe does come back, that you know,
he's able to get into the gamewithout BA trying to force the ball
to him right. And it's apart of that for me, I think
goes along with Baker just being ayounger quarterback. You know, when you're
a young quarterback and you have astar like a Dell that tends to weigh

(05:00):
on you, like, Okay,I need to stay on this guy's good
side, you know. I Igot to make sure that I get him
the ball. As opposed to say, if O'Dell was with an Aaron Rodgers,
you know who who's been in thegame, who's been to a championship,
got his ring, you know, and you look at what he's doing
with with his receivers in Green Bay. I mean, yeah, with Davanta

(05:21):
Adams, you know gets he's thehe's the guy. Uh. But Aaron
is able to spread that ball aroundto everybody else. Lazar Uh Valdez,
Scantling, you know, the tightends in there. So it's yeah,
yeah, he's he's he's obviously he'san exceptional talent, but he's also a

(05:45):
veteran, you know, steadfast quarterbackwho who No matter who comes in there
there, they have to kind ofplay by Aaron's rules as opposed to with
Baker and O'Dell. Okay, maybeI have to play a little bit more
to O'Dell's rules to keep him happyhere, and that might not be the
best fit all for the team.That's a that's a good point. That's

(06:06):
a good point. I mean becauseat the same time, Landry was here
first, and as we said lastweek, um Landry kind of started changing
the whole dynamic of the team oncehe got here with the way that you
know, just that the culture ofthe attitude. You could see that on
the field with just people just enjoyingthemselves on the during the game, uh

(06:27):
and inn practice, you know, when we were watching a hard Hard Knocks
and then watching Bill the Browns andthings of that nature. He started to
change the whole dynamic. So Idon't know, man, all I know
is that the Browns are nine tothree. I'm happy no, not nine
out of three that would put usthat would that would make us like start

(06:49):
working in fractions. Well, god, do you think that the Browns have
a chance to bowl? I mean, the game's got to be played,
you know what I mean, likeat the end of the day. First
off, right now, I thinkwe talked about this before Game one,
CJ. Is the Browns going tothe playoffs? And right now this is

(07:12):
actually a high probability because if youlook at the next uh, at the
games coming up, we really shouldbe having at least eleven wins this uh
this season. Yeah, and oneof those, in one of those games
that I'm sure it circled on everyClevelander's calendar, is the game against Pittsburgh.

(07:38):
You know who just took it lIt took it hell to the nameless
ones up there in Washington. Don'tFor those that don't remember, or recoil
or even know, the Steelers haslost against the Washington twenty three out of
seventeen. Some fans, some fansplaying the fense, offense twenty three out

(07:59):
of seventeen, you listen, othersothers blame defense. Reality is that Steelers
are no longer undefeated. So what'sgoing on. So I'm I'm actually uh
pretty happy, you know. Imean there's the Browns win and the Steelers

(08:24):
lose and the same like week. That's uh, it's pretty pretty makes me
pretty happy Christmas. Well, youknow it's it's you know, I don't
know if it's that, but youknow it's it is. It is a
gift. It is a gift,I will say that. And if the
Browns can win this upcoming week, then that would even be like, uh,
an even greater gift, you knowwhat I mean. It would be

(08:46):
be almost a gift that that keepson giving, you know what I mean.
It's it's I don't know, youknow what I mean. It'll be
like you get the givet. It'slike a card. It's like a vehicle,
you get a vehicle for your birthdayor so. But anyway, it's
like, I'm I'm It's interesting though, because I don't know if you all
watch that game, but you know, the football team actually held onto it.

(09:11):
They held onto it, so itwas it was interesting to watch.
And what's going to be interesting towatch even further is that is that going
to change how Pittsburgh plays? Isthat going to change how Pittsburgh plays in
these last few weeks of the season. Yeah, that's a good point,

(09:31):
um. And I know, Iknow teams are definitely going over that film
of the game against watching what didthey do? What did they do well?
So well? Did they beat Pittsburgha team a team that right now
Washington's who have they only beaten theCowboys? So? Uh, it was

(09:52):
it was definitely a surprise. Imean, I mean that's not saying too
much with the Cowboys and the waythey are this year. Cowboys were just
a mess this year. Who evenknows who they are. But as far
as the Steelers, the Steelers werethe big undefeat is rolling into town.
Uh and Washington, Washington did itthe nameless ones, the nameless Wonders.
You know, they they took itto them and they beat them. But

(10:16):
I will say this, Pittsburgh, they've been winning a lot of close games.
They made a lot of mistakes. You know, they get up and
down the field, but then whenthey get to the red zone. I
don't know what it was, butsometimes they would just stall out and that
was bound to catch up with them. And I think with the football team,
it finally did and they were ableto get the victory over them.

(10:37):
So the Steelers are definitely looking moredefeatable now than they were going up until
that last last football game. Imean, here's the interesting thing, because
there's a few different scenarios that youcould go through with with the Browns.
But you know, who do wehave left? We got we got the
Ravens, we have the two NewYork teams, got the Giants and the

(11:01):
Jets, and then correct yea.So I mean here's the thing. Now,
the Ravens look more beatable now,you know than when we face them
earlier. The Jets and the Giantsare definitely beatable teams that the Browns could
actually like win. And then youknow, then we played Pittsburgh. So

(11:24):
you know, these next this nextmonth of football of Browns football is going
to be some I think it's gonnabe pretty incredible. And I think that
you know, this is gonna showthat everything is shifting here for Cleveland football
right now over the next few weeks. All right, with that being said,
you guys, stay tuned, we'llbe right back. We're going to

(11:45):
have a special guest, so comeback. Necessary roughness. Do you feel
like everyone is yelling at each other? But no one is listening to each
other or themselves. I'm Cura Davis, host of Just Listen to Yourself,
a weekly exercise and critical and drawingour talking points all the way out to
their logical conclusions, because I believewhen we take the time to examine our

(12:07):
own talking points, we can realizewe're not always saying what we think we're
saying. Download Just Listen to Yourselfwith Cia Davis on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts
or wherever you get your podcasts.Oh man, here we go again of
yelling at three am, few myenemy and not a friend energy. I

(12:28):
let you take it down to makeit even steven on the weekend. You're
gonna buy me things low just toget arranged where you disturb my balance.
That's a thing. So is itworth it? It's Aaron Leik here.
Check out my new single worth it, and don't forget to follow me everywhere
on all social media platforms and streamingplatforms to hear my new music right when
it drops, because say we deservethis, you know, so it's worth

(12:50):
it. I relieve one of Sometimesthis is necessary roughness. Welcome math,
you guys. So undefeated boxer FloydMayweather has challenged Logan Paw to an exhibition

(13:16):
fight February twenty in twenty twenty one, keep in mind Logan has not yet
won a professional fight. With thatbeing said, do you I'm sending it
to you so you can go aheadand introduce our special guest. Yeah,
we have a guest on the show. I don't know how special he is,
but we have a guest on theshow. Come on now. He's

(13:39):
in the Family's Cold to the ToddAllen Show on the abob Readio network.
But he's also a boxing expert, which is why I wanted to bring him
in on this topic. Kalin Tomorrow, Man, walk to the show.
How you doing, brother, I'mwell good to be here, especially talk
about this subject, right, Soso let's let's jump into it. Man.
I mean, what are y'all onthis fight? I know that you're

(14:01):
going to let loose. This iswhy I invited you. Yeah, listen,
Um, So, what you're witnessingis this is the dark Ages for
American boxing right now. Ever sincethe nineteen sixties, you have you had
a star on the sport. Youhad Cascious Clay who carried the sport for

(14:22):
twenty years along with a couple ofothers, but mainly he carried the sport
and then you had Sugary Leonard comeon his heels. They had Mike Tyson
come on his heels, and thenyou had hold of Field shortly there after.
You know, he did carry thesport, but you had guys like
Oscar and then Floyd. You know, right now, American boxing is in
the dark ages. So what's happeningnow? It's the void is being filled

(14:45):
by a series of spectacles. Andsince you have so many platforms now which
need content, and people love agood spectacle, and it was it's a
proven moneymaker since the Floyd McGregor, you know circus that all you needed something
that people want to see. AndI'm gonna tell you something. Logan,
Paul Logan, Logan, Jake Paul. I don't I don't even know how

(15:07):
these guys are famous, but Igive them credit because they figured off the
game. It's basically, you figureout something that people want to see.
It as a matter of how ridiculousit is you bring out, you knock
out a midget on pay per viewand now you you're lord, Can you
say that? Lord? I don'tthink that that's the word that they supposed

(15:35):
to little person. That little persongot some hops. Though that little person
got some mad hops. Last Iheard, they were still counting um because
he's still out. You brought thatup. I have to ask, because

(16:00):
we've talked about this privately, butI have to ask you on the air
the Nate Robinson fight, or ifyou want to call it that execution,
but go ahead, And that wasagainst Jacaul. Give your thoughts, Yeah,
that was against Jake Paul, giveyour thoughts on that man. You
know, I think his trainers shouldbe tried, convicted and executed and extradited

(16:26):
to a small Middle East in country. Why do you say why do you
say that? Now you've told meprivately that you think his trainers did a
disservice. Why do you think,uh, publicly, why do you think
his trainers didn't disserve Because they putthis guy in a ring on a stage

(16:47):
because they thought they can get himin shape for a few months, and
he put him there. He hadno he had he didn't have the temperament,
He didn't have the It takes awhile. I trained fighters, as
you know, so it takes awhile to get a guy to relax and
settled down and not running there andfight like somebody slapped his grandmother. And
you know, I've been through thisa couple of times with guys that I

(17:07):
could not settle them down. Oneof them got knocked out, and another
guy walked away because I wouldn't lethim fight, because if you get knocked
out, I take that personally.People go, I do not send people
in there to get knocked out.Sorry, I do nothing. And these
guys who put him in there, who thought that he was ready, they
were looking for a nice little payday. I would have not put him
in there because I would have lookedat the guy for five minutes and said,

(17:30):
he can't, he can't, hecan't fight his way out of a
phone booth. And you know, and I get him confused. Logan Jake,
which one? Which one fought?Nate Robinson? Okay, okay,
so Jake Jake. I give himcredit. He gets in shape. He's
a celebrity boxer. He figured outthe game, you know, but he

(17:56):
is not a fighter. I hearMax Kellerman says something about he improved.
Kind of hell, would you knowthat I'm fifty one years old. I'll
get up off his chair and fightJake Paul and I haven't competed up thirty
years. You gotta set it up. You gotta set it up. Lake,
go to west Lake. Tell wegot a fifty fifty one year old

(18:17):
man who is hasn't foughten thirty yearsand he's shorter than Nate Robinson. He'll
take the fight. You know what. You know what it was? I
think that they thought that he wasrabbit when he was actually cheddar Bob.
You know what I'm saying, Sogo ahead, I know you got a
you know what's crazy is like Iwas, I kind of agree with you

(18:38):
on the Dark Ages thing because everythingis so you know, it's it's in
the now other than the the theentire perspective of it, I guess,
you know, like it's like thatthe actual culture of it, because you're
right about the McGregor thing. Itkind of reminds me of the scene from

(18:59):
Idio for see. I don't knowif you all have seen idiocracy. I
highly suggested if you haven't, butlike, that's that's what twenty twenty is
as a whole. It's idiocracy, you know what I mean? It is
a spectacle. You're absolutely right,that's that's what it is, that's what
it represents. But I guess peoplejust want to see stuff. But you're

(19:22):
like, what y'all want to see? I want to see, like some
real fights. But I think here'sthe thing though, with this happening in
boxing right now currently, I thinkthat that is what has helped open the
door to the popularity of UFC andthe ultimate fighting. Uh yeah, you're

(19:42):
you're right. You're right, becausewhat happens is now with these props,
with with the remember well came sowhen world Star happened, world Star became
so entertained for people and they sortof softened their palette for watching spectacles.
You're watching two drunk guys fighting analley, You're watching two kicks put each
other's weaves out of the mall.I mean it stuff gets exciting to people

(20:03):
to see a spectacle. But withMayweather, Mayweather's figured out, look,
I'm retired. People want to stillsee me, and they'll pay me twenty
million dollars, you know, tobeat up on some actor from the Disney
Channel. Then I'll do it.And that's what it's all about. So
I get it. On the onehand, I'm not going to turn down
twenty million dollars either, and thisthe public wants it. He's given the

(20:25):
public what they'll pay for. Sothis is free market capitalism. But what
it is doing though European boxing ispretty healthy, Asian boxing is pretty healthy.
But American boxing is right now insuch a dark age. Right now
with the lack of stars, andright now, all these people who who
are on social media figure they canget in the ring against you know,

(20:45):
an ex golfer or an next youknow, actor from some sitcom and and
people will pay to see it.So on the one hand, I don't
pay to see it. I don't. I watch it on YouTube the next
morning. Other people pay to seeit. In Mayweather, he's he's all
about the business. I'm not knockingfor it. And this these Paul brothers,

(21:07):
they figured it out. It's allabout eyeball. The cracked the code.
We gotta crack the code. Wegotta do this, We gotta we
gotta get body what we do.We gotta get this buddy real quick,
because you have everybody now calling outevery every person who wants thinks they can
box, or calling out everybody else. You got somebody from the I don't

(21:32):
know who it was, some athletecalled out I think Tarver Antono Tarver called
out Jake Paul. Everybody sees thismoney now that they can get, so
it's getting ridiculous. Every time Ilook up, somebody wants to fight somebody
else, right, all right,go ahead, Yeah, so listen,
just just so you know, Uh, the Paul brothers. I don't know
about Logan, uh, but Ithink it was Jake. They got famous

(21:53):
off doing splits on like a vineor something like that. He would just
go random places and do splits andthey'd have like a funny little noise with
it, and uh yeah, hebecame He became famous with it with like
that. So I guess that tellsyou everything about who he is. Uh.
But no, you say, yousay that we're in the dark ages,

(22:15):
And I have a little bit ofa pushback on that because I feel
like, of of late, we'vehad some bright spots with like uh,
you know the Gypsy King, Uh, Tyson Fury. I know Anthony Josh
was more of a brit of boxI say, you're a pan boxing is
healthy though, right right? Butyeah, but people want to see him

(22:37):
come over and fight Um, ohmy gosh, Tyson Fury. They want
to see him fight. Uh WilderWilder, Yeah, I can't believe I
was blank on his name is becausehe was wearing that that king mask and
he failed to show up against them. That's why I forgot about him.
He failed to show up. Sobut so with with guys like that,

(23:00):
and then even Earl Spence Junior Uhmaking his return. Uh do you do
you? Is it really fair tosay the American boxes in the dark ages
or are absolutely we know what theyare. So those guys are for with
the central Fury Wilder, Uh,the Spence Crawfords, those guys are for

(23:21):
purists. For me, there's somegreat young fighters out there, but for
the public, the people who arethe casual fan who would come and watch
the pay per view every now andthen a few times a year with Mike
Tyson or or Mayweather or Shane Mosley. The lack of stars. These guys
are not stars. Uh. Furyand Joshua are stars. But I'm talking

(23:42):
Europeans, but I'm talking about Americanright now, Floyd is gone, right,
Shane Mosley's gone, Um you know, holy Field is gone, Roy
Jones is gone. These guys werestars who could pack arenas they had celebrity
appeal, crossover appeal, they're gone. So right now we're faced with celebrities

(24:03):
who are boxing as opposed to boxerswho had celebrity a cross appeal. Denzel
and Magic would fly to Vegas tosee these guys fight. Now they're nobody's
going to see anybody fight, evenwith the pandemic. Wilders might be the
only American that can bring people outto see Vegas or somewhere to see you
see them fight because the stars, the American star is not there right now.

(24:26):
Uh Canello is the biggest star inthe United States and he's Mexican,
right right. Let me ask youreal quick. We got a couple of
minutes left. Let me ask youreal quick, um, what are your
thoughts about, like staying on thetopic of spectacle, your thoughts on retired
boxers coming back. So obviously wesaw the the Tyson Roy Jones fight.

(24:51):
I thought it was not a verygood fight. Garbs was very excited about
it. I enjoyed it, man, I enjoyed it thoroughly. I didn't
want to see it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Go ahead, good
right, you can respond you Iwant to get Cleveland. I mean,
you can fill your position that Well, yeah, I'm glad you brought that,

(25:17):
because that's sort of proves my point. American boxing is so in the
dark ages. They rolling out twoguys practically in wheelchairs. You know,
I've been a ringing years. He'sfifty four years old. This is the
first time two guys with the combinedage of one hundred and six got in
the boxing ring and people actually paidto see it. Next next they're gonna

(25:40):
get Sugary Leonard and Thomas Herns backingring and sugar Ay is sixty five years
old. This is desperate. Peopleare at least like dragging up old porn
stars. I mean, nobody wantseven that's Rio anymore. I mean,
I don't even know who that isis. You just showed your age just

(26:03):
right there. Who is that?Thank you? Thank you for God.
So here's the thing, Um,we do know that, you know,
Roy, that was not Roy's bestshow showing, you know what I mean.

(26:26):
However, I knew from the getgo when I saw Tyson practicing,
because I saw the videos of Tyson, you know, getting ready for the
fight. When he started training andthey started releasing these videos of what he
was doing to get ready, andit looked to me that Tyson was really
taking it a lot more seriously. You know, I hate to say that
because I don't know what's you know, what's going on in Roy's head.

(26:48):
You never know what somebody's feeling therethinking. But from the videos Tyson was
putting out, Tyson was like,Okay, I'm coming to actually fight.
I was coming to actually fight.Um. And you could see by some
of the Haymakers that just didn't connectthat he threw like he was actually trying

(27:10):
to get it in. He was, he was, But yeah, I
was impressing the back down to hislate after twenty years, which is crazy
to do. Nobody does that.Nobody gets back down to the right fighting
fifty four or Yeah. So Iam, um, I'm it's it's inspired
me to come back. I haven'tcompeted in thirty years. So in next

(27:32):
next June, I'm gonna be fightingEmmanuel Lewis. You're terrible. That's awful,
you know, Iry, I'll promoteit. Yeah, listen, you
gotta be a commentator here. Firstnecessary, we're gonna we're gonna call the

(27:52):
drug. We're gonna call the fight, you know what I mean? And
like I wear a suit and arewe gonna have Vanisa del Real be the
ring girl whoever that is? Yes, yes, as so before weekend,

(28:15):
out of here. So back tothe may Obviously the Mayweather Logan Paul fight
coming up in this. I wantto bring this up because Collegi and I
have these conversations all the time, because it felt like when this last spectacle,
when the previous made Weather spectacle happened, it felt like it was just
us and a couple of other peoplethat was trying to tell everybody what was
going to happen, and we endedup being right. We should have took

(28:36):
bets. We would have made alot of money on on that fight.
But so of course you have thisthe Mayweather Logan Paul fight, and for
people who are not who are casualobservers of boxing or don't really pay attention
at all, you know they're gonnaget hyped up because of course Mayweather's a
polarizing figure. Some people love them, some people hate them, and some
people are actually gonna get hyped upto think that Logan Paul actually has a

(28:59):
chance to beat Mayweather. Now,it's insanity. That's not going to happen.
We all know that. But peoplewho are going to believe that,
just like people believed that McGregor couldbeat Mayweather. Now tell tell everybody,
tell our listening audience, why youknew that that was not going to happen

(29:25):
because because you don't have the McGregorfight. Yes, well, because McGregor
is. McGregor is an amateur boxer, not an MMAY guy, but on
a boxing level, he was anamateur um but he talked a good game.
He talked to himself into a sixtyseventy eighty million dollar payday. But
people don't understand the levels to boxing. He had a couple of amateur fights

(29:48):
back in Ireland and he learned boxing, you know, as part of his
MMA training, but he never foughtanybody. So as an amateur he basically
I bet you he couldn't win anational Golden Gloves. He's on that level
as an amateur boxer. And Floydis one of the greatest fighters, most
talented fight I've ever seen, talented, super talented, even in his older

(30:11):
age and forties, he could getup off the couch and it just outboxed
ninety nine percent of guys that arestill active. And this amateur wasn't gonna
go in there and do nothing withhim. Everything he did, Floyd let
him do for entertainment value. Soit was the people got fooled into thinking
that McGregor actually gave a comment himself, Floyd played with the guy just to

(30:32):
entertain you fools, for your fiftyfifty nine dollars whatever you spent. Well,
I think I think Floyd actually saidthat. He said like, oh,
yeah, it was forty. Itwas forty entertainment of it. Like
when when you when he said that, I was like, oh, that's
why it even lasted as long asit actually did, you know what I
mean? That way, it doesn'teven fight that way. He typically was

(30:52):
entertaining man. And I've watched hisdad fight in the seventies. I watched
his uncle's fight. I know him. I've seen him from the I don't
know him, but i've seen himfrom me. I know how he fights.
I know every movie makes he wasplaying with this guy, and he
got paid one hundred million dollars,Thank you very much. So real,
so real quick, you're predicting thesame thing in this uh Mayweather logan Paul

(31:17):
to fight correct. Yeah, it'llbe worse because Logan, Paul is bigger,
he's flower, and Floyd will taphim around for a few rounds to
get him tired, and then Ithink he'll try to finish him, you
know, just to entertain people. He needs to make it entertaining so he
can keep taking people's money. Sowhy Logan? Though Logan wouldn't want to

(31:41):
knocked out Nate, it was James. But here's the thing. He has
how many followers on YouTube? Alot? Yeah, three billion, four
million, and he's been running hismouth on social media and that's all you
need and people people are suckers. So this is I'm actually looking forward to
how to it because I think itwill be actually entertaining, you know what

(32:06):
I mean, And I'm gonna makeother fans. So I'm gonna watch that.
Yeah, yeah, But I thinkyou're right where it's like it's kind
of like, uh, you knowthe three card, three card molly,
you know what I mean. Theguy on the street and he's doing the
three card Molly and take it bets, like where's the card that you know
what I mean? The car wherethe ball at under the under the little
cup he pick out the ball, right, you ain't gonna get it.

(32:29):
You know, you think you're aboutto get it, but no, it's
not going down like that. Yougo ahead, make your point and then
let him how to follow you realquick. I'm gonna be reaching out to
Nate Robinson to train him. Ican save his life. So um,

(32:50):

for free because I do not likeI do not like that kind of domestic
violence. I'm sorry that. Justmake sure you posted on YouTube. Okay,

(33:37):
heard they had they generated over amillion buys or something. Really I think
they broke Yeah, they broke arecord for pay per view. I think
dollars. Yeah, wow, that'sduds. All right, bro man,
thanks for coming on the show. And hey, we're gonna make that in

(35:30):
you guys, Welcome back, Solisten. The Jets had left against the
reader one because they said the Jetswas a very it was a very close
game that they was about to win, or they could have possibly won.
Some say that it might have beensome foul play in action. So was

(35:52):
there a found play? Could theJets have won if they handle the blitz
a different way and a different tactic? Ohead, this is your game?
Yeah, yeah, thank you,Erica. Yes, I believe there might
And as much as I hate tosay this and hate to proclaim this might
have happened, but I do believethere might have been some sort of alternative

(36:15):
or arterior motive to why the Jets, specifically in the last the closing moments
of that game, uh, prettymuch gave the game away. So usually
I break it down for you.Usually, in a situation that we have,
this is the last few seconds ofthe game, the opposing team,
the Raiders, who have the ball, there's no choice but to do some

(36:37):
sort of hail Mary pass. Uh. So, typically in this situation,
a defense, any any smart defensivecoordinator worth their salt, you know,
will will call a pre event defense. That's you. You rushed the bare
minimum and you put everybody else back, and I mean back. You are
guarding against the score. Nobody canget deeper than the deepest man with the

(37:02):
prevent defense. But somehow yet andstill the Jets, for some reason decided
to go like a zeroed out blitz, send, send the house, and
leave their rookie corners on the islandsby themselves. Which then Derek Carr made
a fantastic throw. It was agreat play by him, and boom right

(37:24):
into the end zone. Game over, Raiders winning and you just sit there
and you look and he said, what just happened? Like how did they
lose? They were on the vergeof finally getting this first game and I
hate to bring this up, butthey would have tied with my Jaguars have
been won and whatever. Yeah, but they decided, you know what,

(37:49):
No, not yet, I don'tknow they decided to Again, it's a
failure to launch for the Jets. You know, I don't know if they're
the runways to to icy up therein New York or you know there maybe
there's something some technical difficulties with theplane or the landing gear or the engine
trouble. I don't know, youknow, there there seems to be an

(38:10):
eleven game delay for for the forthe Jets to take off. Sorry,
Yeah, so I I and Ihate to think I don't think it was
by choice of the players, Becausethe coaches called the play, players got

(38:34):
to go out there and run theplay. So maybe, just maybe there's
some foul play going on in thatcoaching staff, in that front office somewhere.
So are we are we going arewe declaring shenanigans? Who are we
declaring shenanigans on? Are we declaringshenanigans on the office or the coaching staff?
And is this just you know, bad decision making because they haven't won

(38:58):
a game? Is this bad decisionmaking? The shows like it's about time
that your your coaching staff needs uhto be adjusted and changed and flipped up,
you know. Or so So there'slevels to this of where in whom
we can declare shenanigans upon. Yeah, But for me, I just I

(39:22):
just feel like you think it feellike I think it was purposeful for almost
almost I don't know if the dudemaybe have had might have had a a
and I'm sorry for this, buthe might have had the Jr. Smith's
situation where he thought he thought hehad the time he didn't, you know,

(39:43):
gave it the ball away and thenlooking at Lebron like, oh we
we that's it. Oh man, man, you didn't have another down.
Damn. It might have been somethinglike that where you just complute he completely
blank. But yeah, for forfor whatever reason, to not run a

(40:04):
prevent defense in that situation, becauselike every other game, you know,
uh, any other game, anyother time, like it doesn't even matter
what you know, time period, you know, but if you look at
the score, like that's the typeof defense that's gonna be called, because
it's like, Nope, you're notthrowing this. You know, you're not

(40:28):
gonna throw this, You're not gonnahave this open these open receivers here like
no, we're gonna we're gonna doublethese guys up right right. And for
whatever reason, that's not what wascalled. And I don't know if you
just had that much confidence that youguys would get home and and sack him,
or you were just that incompetent thatyou don't know how to play situational

(40:52):
football, which is very being competentthough it's gonna be in competence and sedition
and against but at the same time, and you know, you look at
their record and it kind of showssteers towards what you're proclaiming, and you
know what I mean, you're suggestingI should say right, And with that
you have to also look at Okay, now it's the ownership getting involved,

(41:15):
because really any owner right now atthis point would be looking at the coaches
like, all right, I'm aboutto get you you and you up out
immediately before there the next game, right the next game. If you who
called that play, you're out outimmediately. You don't know how to actually
manage just right. So now I'mthinking, okay, so maybe just maybe

(41:38):
the ownership is like, you knowwhat, we got some prospects coming under
this next draft. You know,Jacksonville's got one game on us. If
we just if we just hang tightand not do what we need to do,
you know, let it ride, just let it ride. Well we'll
make it look good by getting Ithink they got rid of Greg Williams,

(42:00):
right, Um, but we justwe just sit back and let this thing
keep rolling. This this zero record, you know, zero wins, keep
rolling. We'll get that first pick. Because there's no lottery system like in
NBA, we're guaranteed the first pick. There's gonna be exactly some good guys
coming out this year too, Sothe owner might have leaned on maybe he

(42:22):
went, you know, and leanedon somebody and said, hey, if
it comes down to it, doit's a solid you know what I'm saying.
And there that might have been whatwent down. Uh not not saying
that that's what happened, But Idon't know. I don't know because that
was just such a dumb call thatyou have. It just makes you feel

(42:45):
like something else is at work herebecause I know, go ahead. All
I know is that the Browns betterbeat him, then Browns, the Browns.
About the other New York team, the Giants who took it to the
Seahawks, Yeah, somebody, somebodywas excited. All right, you listen,

(43:12):
I let that out. You knowhe glanced supposed to go Giants.
All right, you guys listen,So we have less than about four minutes.
Less than four minutes, let's talkabout how you say so, as
far as what I hear, he'sbeen able to play the big the big
ten. You want to talk aboutthat more carbs? Oh yeah, I'm
over here. I'm doing another dance. You were off. Oh I'm on

(43:37):
rhythm, man, I don't knowwhat you're talking about. So here's the
thing. So this has just happened, uh you know, uh, and
what was decided? You know, well, let's let's rewind a little bit.
Let's rewind a little bit. Sonormally every year this week I am
super excited, super pumped up becauseit's rivalry Week. Now can you say

(44:00):
Rivalry Week three times fast? RivalryWeek? Rivalry Week? Rivalry Week?
That wasn't but yeah, because Ididn't want a ton twisted up. But
normally I'm super excited because that's justwhat this week represents. Uh, you
know, we face the team upnorth, and you know it's the Buckeyes

(44:22):
have been dominating. But of coursewe know now that uh, the Wolverines
canceled the game. Now, Ikind of knew that this is gonna happen
just based off of like the wayMichigan has been playing. I kind of
just assumed that this happened just magically, that oh, we can't play now.
But I had to say that, you know what I mean. But

(44:45):
but at the end of the day, you know, they're being safe,
uh, not trying to put anybodyin danger. But at the end of
the day, it's just incredible timing. But what was also decided is the
Big Ten voted to change their rulesthat were set in place, you know,
under COVID guidelines, so that theBuckeyes could actually play in the Big

(45:12):
Ten Championship. So that's where we'reat right now, and they will be
playing. And it was it wasvoted in uh and I guess that the
vote was determined based off of statisticsand analytics and you know, looking at
how the Buckeyes played compared to someof the other teams, because we're we're
in unprecedented times right now and thingsare just kind of crazy. But I'm

(45:38):
guessing you have some comments on this, c J. Will with your perspective,
I'm interested in here. I mean, I guess, I guess I
feel like you say, it wasconvenient time for Michigan to cancel the game.
Was awfully convenient that once again BigTen steps in and helps wipe Ohio
States backside. You know, here, let me let me clean up your

(46:00):
mask. But it's not it's nottheir mess. But why is it?
Why is it Ohio States gets getsthis, you know, special treatment.
They're they're getting into the championship game. I mean, who have they who
have they really played that's been anygood outside of Indiana. I mean a

(46:21):
lot of these games, couldn't.I mean, it didn't happen. It's
it's a different year. Oh man, Well what do you mean, Like
a whole bunch of other teams hadtheir had their games canceled too, So
what do you talking about? Yeah? So then so then how come they
don't get to play in the championshipgame because it's the Buckeyes. In't there
spectacular? That's why exactly they didn'tlook too spectacular against Indiana. All right,

(46:44):
Indiana should have won the game. That was That was a crazy game
though too. It was a crazygame. And if if Indiana, if
if the quarterback's name escaped me.But I mean that was his moment,
man, that was his moment toreally Oh he was he's a definitely to
the forefront, he's a beast. But that would have been a guaranteed like

(47:05):
NFL, NFL rosters and teams wouldhave been looking at him like, holy
craft, you gotta get this guy, because that was his moment to really
shine and take that team to thenext level. But like I said,
the only team that Ohio State hasplayed is Indiana, And I just don't
see how the big tanking just allof a sudden wave their magic wand and
be like, Okay, Ohio statesin the championship. Oh I mean it,

(47:28):
just I don't. I don't.I don't see it. I don't
see it. I understand. I'mnot. I get it. I get
it. But go back eyes,We'll go bear catch the truth, the
true Ohio Okay, still undefeated. But that being said, that's the last

(47:51):
last words. How is how peoplecan come and check out garbage start first,
follow me at Garbs infinite, everywhereyou know on the planet. You
know, I pre shanate y'all listening, Go Browns, let's go, let's
make it happy. Hey, listenhere, man, the Jaguars were still
my team. The bear the bearCats are definitely my team. And things

(48:14):
will chake out, all right.Look for the Jaguars to be in the
playoffs at some point in some future, at some time. Okay, you
can follow me. You can followme at King Come seventy on Twitter,
It's the ground CJ Cob on Facebook. Man, I appreciate y'all, thank
