Speaker 1 (00:24):
Hey, folks, how you're doing. Wayne ESPIERCENWWST Radio Productions dot Com.
I thought i'd drop a podcast today. I try to
do it on Mondays, but you know, sometimes you just
got to sit back and relax, you know what I'm saying.
So it's just fine, A little update. Lots of things

(00:51):
going on. I've been having a conversation with Gemini Ai. Yeah,
deep philosophical and sometimes political discussions. And interestingly enough, when

(01:12):
I ask a question, I get an answer that I'm
gonna say this, but in a very light way. It
seems formulaic. I don't know how else to put it.
It just seems like, but you know, Jim and I.

(01:34):
I has the whole internet, you know, so, I mean,
so the answers are out there, but it just seems
a little formalic. I'm just I don't know. But anyway,
good answers, great answers, fantastic insight, wonderful answers. But yeah,

(01:59):
here's the other thing, the other update I want to make.
I am literally going to uh stop talking about current
events unless it's something that's vitally important. I mean, look,

(02:23):
what's happening now. We have all these world leaders. You
got Ukrainian leader. We got all these other people who
got President Trump just met with you know, President Putin,
so we have that going on. That's important, Okay, But
here's the here's the other reason why I want to

(02:45):
stop opposition. Not that I'm not strong enough to deal
with it, not that I'm not informative and educated enough
to deal with that kind of crap. But honestly, I'm
just tired of stupid people. I'm just tired of people

(03:07):
ignoring the obvious, dismissing the truth, hiding, you know, the evidence,
and then blaming somebody else that they don't get what
they want. You're the one that pulled the rug out
from everybody else, so you're blaming them for standing on
the rug. Yeah, that's stupid. I'm just gonna say it

(03:32):
like it is from now on. But I cannot with
good conscience continue talking about current events because well, there's
some great people out there talking about it as well,

(03:53):
so why not listen to them. It's also because of
a personal issue have arisen as well as professional issues
that have caused me to make that decision. Not about
not to talk about current events anymore. I won't go

(04:15):
into detail, but I will say that it's tiring, it's
causing me not to sleep well, it's causing me not
to relax as much as i'd like, you know, because
you know when you get up, trust me, if you're
over fifty, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Seriously.

(04:40):
It's like, there are certain things that you do in
life that require your attention. That's cool, that's right on,
go do that, But sometimes you just want to relax.
And if it's like a day, two days, maybe a week,

(05:04):
go do that. Okay. There were times when I was
younger my parents would take vacations. You know. My mom
worked for the school district, so she had all summer,
and then my dad drove truck, so when he had
a vacation or he put in for one, sometimes we
didn't go anywhere. We just stayed home. My dad finished

(05:27):
some yard work and got some stuff done, and my
mom did her thing, you know and whatever. It was like, yeah,
that's what you need to do. You just need to relax,
you know. So I'm gonna talk. I'm gonna stop talking
about current events unless it's something that's vitally important and

(05:48):
if it comes up, like you know, like once a month,
twice a month whatever, then I'll talk about it, but
other than that, I won't. The one major thing that
I'm gonna concentrate on its New West Radio theater. Now.
A lot of people were and then I see this
as well. There's ads all over the place on YouTube

(06:10):
and places like that where you've got eleven labs, You've
got Hume Dot AI, You've got all these other places
that you can create your own voices or have voice
cloning or whatever. I myself in New West Radio Theater.
When I write scripts, I use AI as a writing tool. Period.

(06:36):
When I cast the voice actors to do the characters,
it's not AI, and I refuse to use AI in voiceover. Now.
I have a current show and if you go listen
to it, it sounds like they're like, it's two real people.

(06:56):
It isn't. It's called Deep Dive. It's over on the
You Travel, which is another show I do, and trust me,
that's the only place I'm gonna do that. And every
so often I'll come in and give my take on
certain things as well. But because I've been concentrating on
New West Radio theaters so much, I haven't done that.

(07:19):
So look for that to happen here. In the next
few days. But anyway, and I'll put that link in
the show notes. But yeah, man, just relax, Just take
a deep breath, exhale, and just relax, because there's nothing

(07:43):
you can do to change what is happening until you
get a group of people to make that thing you
want to happen. That. I know that's strange to say
it that way, but it's called the rev And instead
of having a physical in the streets revolution, why don't

(08:07):
we have an intellectual revelation and change things dramatically in
that arena. Academics, look at this, Look at the academics
in this country. We fail in so many different ways
academically that it's a wonder that anybody wants to come

(08:29):
to America to get educated. America is full of educated people,
except for the fact that the universities into colleges all
want to indoctrinate you with their bs. And so what
do you do. You take it upon yourself. And here's

(08:53):
my call to people. You take it upon yourself to
educate yourself on what's going on. Don't listen to your professors,
don't listen to any of those. Just take that information
in and sift through it. And get rid of all
the bull crap and then just concentrate on those things

(09:15):
that are relevant for that typical topic that your professor
is talking about. Because I learned that by the way
in high school, that you don't have to take all
the information you use what works. You take the material

(09:38):
that wherever you get it, and you sift through it
and you look for the relevant points that are the
basis of that topic. Then you sift through that and
you find the resources, the facts, the evidence, the truth,
all of that, and you just break down to the

(10:00):
most simplest form that you can understand. That's what I do.
I've been doing that for years. It seems to work
for me. But you know, you can do that in
a way that's going to be satisfactory to you. But anyway,

(10:22):
let's relax, folks. Let's just relax, shall we. A lot
of times, you know, I I look back on my
life and I as I ask myself, you know, and

(10:43):
again this philosophical question of who am I? The other
question is why am I here? Well? I found that
out years ago, So that revelation, if you will, changed
my whole entire life at that point, and now here
I am right and I'm happy, and I feel good

(11:07):
about myself, and I'm you know, you know, it's just
I don't know how to explain it. I really don't.
It's almost as if years ago, at eight years old,
when I had my first spiritual experience. I believe at
that point some people might call it an epiphany, and

(11:27):
that's probably how I phrase it. But was it a calling?
Was it a simple step into a different dimension of
thought or ideas or whatever. I don't know, but it
changed my life, and I you know, searched through all
of it, you know, And it wasn't just one single

(11:53):
path that I chose. I chose it long before I
was put into this life experience. But it just wasn't
that one path. That one path was just that everything
else around it was what I was learning, you know.
So and I got off of that path every so often,

(12:13):
and I'm flawed and I have faults, and you know,
things happen, but I'm I've been on it for years now,
and I had to recognize that there was something within
me that I had to really pay attention to, Okay,
really pay attention, you know, And it was the journey

(12:36):
of that spirit. I knew I was different than everybody else.
And I knew that I had this this calling. If
you will, you want to use that, that's fine. It
was It was that journey of my spirit, that life
source that we all are, and it's that thing that
transcends time and place and tradition and it just changes everything.

(13:00):
It changed again, changed my life. And and that whole issue,
that whole topic is older than freaking human history anyway.
And when I listen to other people, such as the
late Joseph Campbell, when I listened to him and he

(13:22):
talks about the hero's journey, I mean, it just exemplifies
the foundation by which I would think we all would
be at some point to say, wait a minute, here's
my journey, here's my life. What do I do? Well?

(13:42):
I tell people, what do you do? Take a walk?
Just continue walking, you know it, just keep on going,
you know. So my journey began subtly. It wasn't just
great thing with fire and all this and the big

(14:02):
you know, trumpets and everything. Hey look he's arrived. It
wasn't any of that. It wasn't it wasn't any of that.
It was quiet, it was still, it was subtle, it
was there. I just took a walk, and I started
walking and and just went from there and that that
that sense, that feeling of of presence, just being in

(14:25):
that that that area of life, and and and and
having having those taking those steps, really just going down
that path that I chose long before I was put
into this life experience. I knew what I was headed into.

(14:48):
But then when you're born into this life experience, guess
what you have? Amnesia, You forget all of it. You're
you're a baby, You have no idea, you become a toddler,
you have no idea. Again, my first spiritual experience happened
when I was eight years old, So it was I
was young and I had I didn't know what it was,

(15:10):
but I knew something had changed. Okay, I knew something
had changed, and that feeling was just there all through
my teenage years and all that. Sometimes people resist that
call because they they think it's just too much. They

(15:33):
don't know, they don't understand how important that that journey is.
And it's not reaching a destination, it's that journey itself.
It's what you learn within that journey. And and people
fear things they they they they they fear what's ahead
on their path they they they don't understand how transformative

(16:00):
that could be to you. They just don't. They just don't.
Once they answer it, then they realize, oh my god,
I should have done this years ago. Right, You've heard
people say that, and we look at ourselves as being
you know that in that space and time, when we

(16:20):
have that realization, we realize we're we're the hero of
our own lives. We're that person who says, yeah, I
can do this. You know, I can do this, I
can take on this quest. You can do this. It's
not about physical prize. It's basically the understanding of ourselves

(16:45):
and our place in the universe. That's basically what it is. Okay,
that's our journey. We understand that. And for those that don't,
and for those that are listening to the going what
the hell are you talking about? Ourselves primarily ourselves spiritually

(17:08):
and looking at us and our position not only in
this physical life, but in the universe as a whole,
we discover that within ourselves we have the greatest power
we possess. And it's not external, but it's internal. It's

(17:30):
inside of us. It's who we are. We are limitless
spiritual beings existing within these limited physical bodies. That's who
we are. That is our core of our existence. We're
just walking around in this vessel we call a body. Okay,
that's what we are. And when we when we look around,

(17:54):
we try to find examples to try to make sense
of who we are, don't we? Did we do that
growing up? Of course we did. Of course I use
movie references most of the time. So I want to
say it this way. The path that we're on, that

(18:15):
we chose, the power that we understand within ourselves, not outside,
but within ourselves, is a philosophy of and I'll use
this as a reference the Jedi in the Star Wars movies.
They speak of the Force, an energy field that binds

(18:36):
the galaxy together, binds us all. There's a light side
and the dark side. Yet the true power that we
need to understand lize within one's connection with that force,
with that energy in the universe, with what we are
internally connected to the universe, to the energies that are

(18:58):
around us. It's an act of spiritual discipline, which of
course results in our physical discipline. To train one's mind
to be present, to listen, to listen to the little
whispers that are out there your gut, you know, your intuition,

(19:19):
your gut feelings. You gotta listen to that all the time.
The struggle for the Jedi is basically a parallel and
a parable, a story of ourselves, the ongoing battle with
the ongoing paddle with the twins, the dark side and

(19:41):
the light side of ourselves. The anger we feel and
then five minutes later we're happy, and then ten minutes
later we want to just go And you know, you
know what I mean. We struggle with that every single day,
the fear, the anger, self doubt. Okay, don't ever doubt yourself,

(20:04):
because that right there is your first foundational separation. Never
doubt yourself. And because we're limitless in spiritual beings, you know,
existing within this limited physical body, that's the spirit that

(20:27):
is who we are. And like the force, it seeks balance,
it seeks the order, It seeks that balance that we
need to have. And our journey is to find the equilibrium,
to find that equality, to find that balance, and let
that that intuitive processes to balance everything out. Let that

(20:53):
guide us. And I don't I don't have too many
other examples to use to create that balance within ourselves,
but there's Joseph Campbell, there's Star Wars, there's I mean

(21:17):
many different movies like us. Star Trek has some philosophy
in there as well. But when we look at things
outside of us in our physical world, again, we look
for that validation. We look for that, Yes, the answers

(21:37):
within those little nuanced things in life. Of course, we've
got to balance all that out and what keeps us
from what stops us, keeps us from that inner light,
what obscures or shades us from that connection we have

(22:02):
with the universe. Well, looking outside at different organizations and
different things and all the nuanced little things that we
need to see. You can also look at places like
the Church of Scientology, where they offer a powerful framework
for that struggle to find balance. Now, I've got material

(22:27):
from the church itself, I've got lectures from l Ron Hubbard.
I've got you know, all kinds of material learning material,
and trust me, it is in depth, but it's very
value valuable to read, to use to understand, and really

(22:49):
it does bring that balance. You. Yeah, we're off a
little bit. You might be mad at your boss, you
might be you know, pissed off at your supervisor, but
you bring balance. You go home and you're relaxing, You're
just you let out that that frustrated sigh and then
you know you're okay. That is that balance you hear

(23:12):
about that situation called work life, you know, your work
and home balance, that you have to have that because seriously,
I'm telling you right now, seriously, it's going to help
you with that balance, finding that purpose, putting meaning, adding value.

(23:34):
That's going to happen when you balance everything out. It will,
it will, and and I'm not going to go in
the whole thing about Church of scientology and all that,
but i will say this that all of those struggles
within you, all of those little tiny things that self doubt,

(23:56):
the fear, the anger, all of things that you're thinking about,
when you talk to someone else about those things, you're
you're eliminating that thing's power over you. You get frustrated, angry,
stressed out all that. Once you start to talk about

(24:19):
those things that cause those elements those things to happen,
you're the stressing anger. You're getting rid of it, you're
pushing it away, you're throwing it in the proverbial trash. Okay,
so when you talk to someone that is what you're doing.
So you don't have to hold it in you. There's

(24:39):
your start to balance out all this other stuff. But
here's the thing. The journey isn't about gaining new knowledge. Yeah,
you're gonna have new knowledge, of course, that's gonna happen.
You're gonna learn something, probably new, probably enhance what you
already know. It is about shedding the old ba baggage

(25:00):
that you have, that you carried around for so many
years that prevented you from truly seeing and being. Just
you eliminate all that. You just push it all out.
I've done that, Trust me, I've done that. I had

(25:21):
a huge epiphany at one point in my life, huge
massive epiphany, just aha moment, just man. I was so
elated for hours upon hours that I finally realized I
didn't have to have the anger because I'm not allowing
others to anger me. I didn't have to have the

(25:42):
self doubt. I didn't have to carry that because I
don't doubt what I'm doing. I don't have any you know,
I understand and I'm perfectly aware of my faults and flaws,
but I don't have any doubts. Okay, I doubt that this,
and no, I don't have any of that anymore. It's

(26:04):
all gone. Do I still have anger bits and pieces?
Do I still get frustrated here and there? It's just
part of how we balance everything out. And it's not
so much that as it is how you react to
those things. Okay, those things are real. Okay, how are

(26:29):
you those I don't like using this word, but for
this example, I will those things that trigger you to
get angry or get depressed, or get upset, or to
get you know, all of it. Why are you allowing
those things to happen that cause you to be angry,
to be frustrated. Why to me, it doesn't make any sense.

(26:54):
I'm just saying. I'm just saying. And then here's this.
We understand that there's this quote unquote call in our lives.
We get this. Those who are spiritual and highly highly
susceptible to those spiritual things that happen around them, we

(27:16):
have this feeling that it's a calling. Okay, it's that
hero's call. It's that here's this inner force guiding you,
this intuitive process happening within you that says go this way,
well go that way, or don't go that way, Well
don't go that way. You know, it's like that's what

(27:39):
you have to follow. It's it's there to help us
clear out that old pain, the old trauma that we've
suffered for so many years that we keep carrying. We
need to get rid of it. It's going out in
the garbage because it has to be thrown out now,

(28:01):
of course. I mean, you look at these things, and
you look at these different disciplines, in these different traditions,
in these different things, and you're holding onto this all
all this stuff, And why why are you doing that?
Why the traditions are those things that are there from

(28:23):
like ancient myths from the late Joseph Campbell, or modern
philosophies like from you know, the fictional Jedi, or even
scientology or any any points that have profound truth. The
journey is inside. Why are you reacting in such a
way to something that triggered you to be angry? Why

(28:48):
are you doing that? Why? It doesn't like I said,
it doesn't make any sense. You want to eliminate something
you don't understand. You're critical against something you have I
have no idea about. Somebody says something, you're critical to them.
You want to just push them away and get them away.

(29:09):
Why you're gonna learn something from that, and more so
hopefully about yourself. But all of that journey that we're
taking is inward. It's inside of us, right, it's who
we are. It's that clarity that finds that balance. It's

(29:35):
it's it's giving yourself permission to say I don't want that.
The power of no seems to work. Okay, I don't
want that, and it seems to just stop everything. After that, right,

(29:56):
and after that clarity and after that that we all
if that brings that balance, it allows us to connect
to the energies of the universe and more importantly, to
one another. And it helps, and it does help, and
it does put us at a whole different perspective of things.

(30:22):
And all I can say in closing this little mini
podcast out as this, have the courage to accept and
hear that call. When you hear that that feeling, that
that moving within you, go take a walk, see where

(30:42):
it leads, right right, follow that discipline of the inner light.
That's that is there to help you find that clarity,
to find that balance and and and be graceful with yourself. Okay,
be grateful that you're here, but be graceful with yourself

(31:08):
and don't let the outside world tell you no, you
tell it no. Don't hold back on who you truly are,
and don't allow those things to hold it outside of yourself,
to hold you back from achieving that clarity, that balance yourself. Okay,

(31:34):
don't do that. Man. If you have any questions, obviously
you can ask me, Oh, put my email into show notes,
and just understand that just knowing yourself on your personal
individual journey, you are threads. If you will, you are

(31:59):
threads in this magnificent tapestry of the universal spirit. You are,
and you develop within yourself that design that again, that balance.

(32:19):
You know, you have that feeling when something in you says, hey,
you know what, you should go that way. If that
gut feeling is correct, it's going to hold you right
in that position until you say, yeah, I think I'll
go that way because you're not going to regret it. Now. Again,

(32:43):
let me also give you this as well. It's going
to be hard. It's going to be emotional. It's going
to be difficult at times, it's going to be it's
like you're never going to end right the struggles. Let
it go. You have the opportunity to give yourself permission

(33:05):
to say no to those things that are causing you
those problems. No, it's a powerful words. That's all you
need to do. Once that happens, you're then again with
yourself and that's where you begin. That's where you begin.

(33:32):
So anyway, folks, I just wanted to mention that because
it's been on my mind for a while and I
wanted to let you know, you know, give you an
update of what's going on. Like I said, no more
current Event podcast because I just it's tiring. It's just
it is. But every once in a while, if I

(33:54):
find something important and I want to share it with you,
I'll do a little podcast for you. But other than that,
I'm going to concentrate on other projects I'm working on
and I got some things coming up. So all the
information you'll need to contact me will be in the
show notes and my Facebook page so you can contact

(34:21):
me there as well. Folks, you rock man, You're awesome. Always.
Thank you for listening. I appreciate it, and have a
great day.
