kind of talk a little bit aboutyou know, it's the first quarter of
the year. You know, somany people are, you know, making
all these resolutions as to what they'regonna do and all these plans. You
know, people have no books fullof stuff and you know, oh,
I'm gonna do this or I'm gonnado that. But you know what,

ask yourself a question. Ask yourselfa question. What is this on my
forehead? I don't even know,but we're just gonna get that off.
Okay, ask yourself a question.Have I done what I said I was
going to do? Then ask yourselfthe next question. Have I completed anything?

Right? If you haven't, it'stime to go back and assess.
And I want to really help yougo through this whole process of being accountable
and setting your goals because I believethat we can all write things down on
a piece of paper, right,we can all have these master agendas and

these objectives that we're gonna meet.But if we're not putting any steps in
place to get to those or meetthose objectives, we're just putting things on
paper and just filling up a notebook. Okay, but we don't want to
do that. But before I jumpinto that, how are y'all doing?

year of my life. I havetaken some time and I just lived in
North Carolina, just picked up andplanned to move there for two months,
and I wanted to get out ofthe snow and come come to find out
there was so much nice weather whereI was. But you know what,
the environment in North Carolina. Y'allbe lifing down in North Carolina. So

Charlotte, Raleigh, wherever you are, y'all got it going on.
When I tell you, and Iknow I'm sidebaring right now, but when
I tell you that North Carolina isthriving and vibing and full of energy and

life, I mean just that.I have never seen a two story chick
fil A? Have you? Imean maybe where you are they have one,
but we got small ones. Weonly have two or three chick fil
A's where I live, and they'relike small, okay. But when I
saw a two story chick fil A, I was like what. I even
had to take a picture. Anyway, back to what I'm saying, I

just took off some time to justlive in North Carolina. It's been the
greatest. I'm gonna countdown now goingback to my homestead. I am not
happy, y'all. Hear me.I want you to know that I am
not a happy camper because I gotabout nineteen more days to be in North
Carolina, and I tell you Ijust don't want to leave. They're going

to probably have to just pull meout of here because I don't want to
leave. Well, going back towhat I was saying, you know,
my goal is for you to besuccessful and whatever you're doing, whatever,
if you're writing a book, whetheryou're finishing a thesis, whether you're you're
on a career, you know,starting a new career, or whatever you

put your hands to do. Maybeyou're starting a business. But you just
need that push on strategically putting thingsin place to get started. Sometimes we
hold ourselves hostage because of what didn'twork yesterday. You have to remember that
what didn't work yesterday is okay becausemaybe that was not the plan for that
season, right, So you haveto plant a new strategy. You have

to really be committed to doing toreally seeing what didn't work, tweaking it
and moving on. Let me doanother sidebar real quick. I know you'll
probably sick of my sidebars, butI got one. My voice is just
totally just driving me up a walls. You can see I'm getting a little
raspy. So my shows are notgoing to be as long because lately,

since January, I have not beenable to use my voice in its full
capacity. So if I'm talking tosomeone for maybe a long length of time,
I start to get a little raspyand it starts to be a little
struggle to talk. So if I'mcutting the show short, it's because of
that reason. But okay, let'sgo back. Let's go back. But

I want you to know that youare not alone. If you started something
and you put it down, youstarted something and you put it down,
but you're looking at everyone else who'sdoing and completing and moving forward, and
you're celebrating them. But when youcelebrate them, ask yourself this question,

are you celebrating them and thinking,in the back of your mind, I
could have done that, or Ishouldn't have given up on my passion,
on my dream or whatever I wasdoing. And that is that self doubt
speaking because or those those limited beliefstelling you that you can't do it,

or you couldn't do it because ofwhatever. But we need to stop that
negative thinking and stop stop believing thenegative thoughts that you put in your head
about yourself. You can do whateverit is that you want to do.
You just even you have to tapin to the right resource, the right
connection, get the right plan,get a strategy, and start moving,

you know, because without that,you are going to stay stuck. And
you don't want to stay stuck.And I can speak to you about that
because I have been in that life. Yes I have. I have been
in that life where I had allthese ideas in my head. Ooh,
my ideas were rolling and rolling.I had all these ideas about what I

wanted to do. But yet timewould go by and ask me how many
of those things got done? Zero? Right, because I didn't have a
strategy in place to fulfill those dreams, or to meet the goals, or
to even start. Sometimes I didn'tknow where to start. But now I
(07:34):
take time and I think about what'sthe objective? When do I want to
meet this objective? And when doI want to get done? So I'm
telling you if that is something thatresonates with you and you want to stop
the cycle of always starting, alwaysstarting, always starting, because if you
(07:56):
keep starting, when when you finished? Right yourself that question, Hey,
if I keep starting, when willI ever finish? And that is the
goal you want to finish? Becausethe great thing about finishing. You have
the opportunity to celebrate your success andto shift and move on to something else.

But until you finish that one thing, you can't move on because then
you're going to start the cycle allover again, starting something, starting something,
starting something over here, and you'renever going to finish. So that
is something that you want to stop. You want to stop the cycle of
all ways beginning the same thing overand over again. You've got to be

committed to yourself first, and untilyou are committed to yourself first, it's
not gonna work. You can seeall these things on Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, you can see everything thateveryone's doing. You can marvel at that
celebrated and think in your head,yeah, that could have been me.

But let's change that. Let's changethat narrative to it will be you.
Okay, you will complete your agendaitems, you will complete those projects,
you will know your purpose and walkin that. Right. So I want
