any other matches you're really looking forward to? Maybe like

to how they're gonna tell that story with Sets specifically.
It just feels like they're setting him up for, you know,

affect the Tony match of it all depending on how

there that you could capitalize on if we were able
to keep one or both of them, and they're not

Seth Frickin' Rollins. Let's get your take on this. How

how do you feel about this built so far with
these four men included?
Speaker 4 (13:45):
You know, I think it's probably everyone would agree if
obviously picked up steam in the last two weeks. I
think that it was really confusing when it first happened,
right the whole setup from the royal until actually getting
the announcement and franklet even after the announcement, like it's been,
it was weird for a while, you know. I think

that the Rock is doing amazing work and they're letting
him do that. I think Cody is doing amazing work.
I think that Roman Romans is really great on Monday.
I think he's kind of been in the background a
little bit. Yeah, The Rock has really taken everyone spotlight

and frankly, the only person that's been.

Able to keep up with him is Cody.

was doing the rapid fire predictions for the rest of
the matches, because this is the biggest, the biggest match
of all time. Brother, Yeah, who wins Night one between
Rock with Rock Roman against Cody Roads and Seth freaking Rollins.

I think at this point it's it's not to be
Rock Roman, so we get Bloodline rules for the main event.
I think that's that makes the most sense.

Right, I would have to agree. And then now the
interesting part at night too, In your opinion, what is
going to happen in Roman Reigns versus Cody Roads for
the title?

I mean, I think that every member of the Bloodline
gets involved. Of course, I think that I have a
feeling that Jay and or Seth are not both. They're
not going to both make it to fight in the
Bay end in sequence because of whatever has happened before.

So one of them doesn't make it.

I would put my money on Seth because I also
think it opens up a Seth Cody thing down the
road again.

So I would put my money on set doesn't make it.

people potentially from Roman's past. Maybe maybe a same Vain
and Kevin Owens still show up. Maybe maybe maybe we

Seeing Austin in the Rock again face to face in Philadelphia,

See. For me, I think they dropped a little easter
egg on Monday that w W has been slowly been

of this, and it just never happened, like and then

I think someone's got to retain this week and might
as well be real Ripley.

And not to mention, Becky's contracts coming up like very soon,

would rather have just been Raymonsterial versus Santos just in

my favorite arnt taker matches. A sign from the Sean
Michaels match at twenty five. But yeah, aren't ticker kicking out?
That's my number three moment and then would be my

Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestle Mania thirteen Submission match. I
mean it's the most iconic, Like just I don't have
this song like my moments, but I mean that the
picture of Austin bleeding it has to be one of
the most iconic wrestling images of all time.

Yeah, I mean the I never really wanted to wear,
you know, like I never always I think that Austin
really reinvented like the T shirt game right for wrestling,
and like they just weren't cool until that. But I
wanted every single piece, but the one I wanted most
was the bloodstone with him just bleeding on the back.

Like that was the coolest shirt. So yeah, it sold
the you know, it sols Austin's career really the rest
of the time, like it really changed his entire trajectory.

the happier moments I've ever seen in wrestling of like

finally they're back together. You have that fan, the iconic
fan crying in the crowd. But it's just like that
should have ended WrestleMania. That night was them was with

which is the ladder match at wrussell Mania ten. Wrestlingia ten,
by and large, is not a good pay per view.
It is anchored by the opener and the ladder match
like that really, you know, really does it for for

that particular WrestleMania. But it more than makes up for it,
because that ladder match is what sold me on on
Michael's I was such a you know, as a little kid,
I'm a big baby faced guy, you know, this whole thing,
and it made me look at wrestling completely different because
of the way that he wrestled and like was doing

deflating the crowd, and it wasn't until like halfway through

that match the crowd finally starts coming back in a
little bit. And then it wasn't until when he gets
put on the stretcher and he comes back. It's like
it worked, got the crowd back in, They're involved again,
and it and in the end, you just have one
of the biggest and loudest pops in WrestleMania history when
Danielsen wins Kofi another you brought it up already, and
that's another honorable mention that I kind of forgot about it. Also,

I guess like you can't show it like on the
video game because of Danielson. But I can't believe, like
when they were talking about that pay per view on
the video game, they don't bring up once that Kofi
won the championship.

how do you feel about this built so far with
these four men included?

You know, I think it's probably everyone would agree if
obviously picked up steam in the last two weeks. I
think that it was really confusing when it first happened,
right the whole setup from the royal until actually getting
the announcement and franklet even after the announcement, like it's been,
it was weird for a while, you know. I think

that the Rock is doing amazing work and they're letting
him do that. I think Cody is doing amazing work.
I think that Roman Romans is really great on Monday.
I think he's kind of been in the background a
little bit. Yeah, The Rock has really taken everyone spotlight

and frankly, the only person that's been.

Able to keep up with him is Cody.

Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestle Mania thirteen Submission match. I
mean it's the most iconic, Like just I don't have
this song like my moments, but I mean that the
picture of Austin bleeding it has to be one of
the most iconic wrestling images of all time.

Yeah, I mean the I never really wanted to wear,
you know, like I never always I think that Austin
really reinvented like the T shirt game right for wrestling,
and like they just weren't cool until that. But I
wanted every single piece, but the one I wanted most

Number two moment for me is Sean Michael's uh retiring
essentially but losing his final match and kind of giving
his goodbye Michaels was my favorite wrestler as he was yours,
and so that it just will always stick.

Yep, yeah, that moment man never want to take to
lose so bad. It's cheering for Michaels the whole time.
And Dave, who was supposed to be on the podcast
for us tonight, he was actually there. He always rubs
it into my face that he was at Sean Michaels's
last match. He wrestled and saw your Arabia, Dave, you
don't get to have that anymore.

That's right to you. And I was there.

My number two, my number two moment, My number two
moment is when Mochellman loses to the Ultimate Warrior at
wrestle Mania seven and then Miss Elizabeth comes down. They
have like their moment and it's like it's like, I
don't know, it's just one of those moments where I
think back on it's like one of the more of
the happier moments I've ever seen in wrestling of like

finally they're back together. You have that fan, the iconic
fan crying in the crowd. But it's just like that
should have ended WrestleMania. That night was them was with
Miss Elizabeth on his shoulder, them so celebrating. That should
have been the end.

But yeah, I agree, they were never gonna pull Hogan
out of it, but if they were to ever do it,
it was done.

Yeah, but mach Man winning. See, he actually did retire
for like a little bit after that, didn't he like
And then yeah, And it wasn't until Flair like came
in and it was almost like a year, like.

He didn't know it was. It was Jake Roberts stuff.

Oh yeah, yeah, it was the wedding after SummerSlam. That's right. Yeah,
god damn. Watchman was so awesome, the best.

I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be a wrestling fan
without it. Shawn Michael's Bret Heart iron Man match Wrestling
A twelve. It's my all time favorite match. I feel
like I say that and then I'll go back and
watch an aw match like this is the greatest match ever,
Like takesha Osprey was phenomenal, but that match. It wasn't

for that match, I wouldn't be a wrestling fan. So
that's my number one.

It's I remember where I was sitting, uh when I
watched it, I mean, like it's wild.

Yeah, it's great, and it's just two guys who just go,
you know, balls to the wall. Really yeah, you got
a lot more wrestled obviously back in the day, but
they're really just going at it and you start to
feel the sense of urgency and like Brett playing defense.
Like it's just a well toned story and yeah, it's
it's absolutely up there. It should be in my top five,

but unfortunately didn't crack it. The other one, the one
that did cracket for me, is another of Sewan's best,
which is the ladder match at wrussell Mania ten. Wrestlingia ten,
by and large, is not a good pay per view.
It is anchored by the opener and the ladder match
like that really, you know, really does it for for
(48:50):
that particular WrestleMania. But it more than makes up for it,
because that ladder match is what sold me on on
Michael's I was such a you know, as a little kid,
I'm a big baby faced guy, you know, this whole thing,
and it made me look at wrestling completely different because
of the way that he wrestled and like was doing

his thing.

It just it changed the way I looked.
Speaker 4 (49:12):
At wrestling so so in a very similar way to you,
Like I wouldn't be a fan or I certainly wouldn't
be a fan.

Match nice.

And my number one moment. I alluded to it, but
it is set for Allins cashing in.

It was just it was kind of validation to me
for like, you know, I've been kind of not that
I was off to beat me, but I was like
my interest had waned over the past couple of years
and I had just come back and it was really like,
okay that this is like my investment paid off in
like this Shield story and where it went and where
stuft Rollins went and it was like the coolest cash

and I've ember see it still is, so.

Yeah, it's far not I think then Dulphs are the
top two. I don't think I things gonna top those two.
Those two are just amazing. Wasn't the next nine Rawll
Brolins wrestled uh Pack for the title.

Yeah, I believe that was the night.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
Yeah, God, I actually thought Pack was winning. They got
me there too. I was like, holy shit, is this
gonna happen like so good and my number one moment
WrestleMania Brian Danielson winning the World Championship. I mean, you
go from such a stinker of Undertaker losing the brock,
deflating the crowd, and it wasn't until like halfway through
(50:32):
that match the crowd finally starts coming back in a
little bit. And then it wasn't until when he gets
put on the stretcher and he comes back. It's like
it worked, got the crowd back in, They're involved again,
and it and in the end, you just have one
of the biggest and loudest pops in WrestleMania history when
Danielsen wins Kofi another you brought it up already, and
that's another honorable mention that I kind of forgot about it. Also,
(50:57):
I guess like you can't show it like on the
video game because of Danielson. But I can't believe, like
when they were talking about that pay per view on
the video game, they don't bring up once that Kofi
won the championship.
Speaker 4 (51:08):
Yeah, I know, Yeah, it makes no sense. They could
have just shown Kofie. They could have just done the
like when he's he's in the ring of his son
and his kids, and they could have just done that.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
But yeah, and.

Those were our top five WrestleMania matches in moments before
we get out of here, one quick question, aside from
WrestleMania nine, what is the worst WrestleMania of all time?
Speaker 3 (51:32):
I don't think Wresselonia then is the worst one.
Speaker 4 (51:34):
But I'm also personal to an outdoor WrestleMania, like I
didn't like and I mean that was like peak my childhood,
like when I first started watching wrestling. It was like
when Ross started basically, so like all the people that
I've been watching and like, so to me, I'm like,
I don't know, it's a the Stalzer pick for sure
for me, I think eleven is far worse.
Speaker 2 (51:55):
Eleven is bad.
Speaker 4 (51:56):
Eleven is bad, and yeah, I love I mean, the
main event got a lot of coverage for sure at
the time with Lawrence Taylor and dam Bam and I
love dam Bam, but it just wasn't the spot for him.

Yeah, you know, and uh, you know, I think if.

They had blocked that and given you Michaels and and
and Diesels last, I think you maybe look at it differently.
But that match was good, but also you know, talking
of Michaels and Diesel. But it's the only like eat passable.

I feel like mass on that card, right, Oh absolutely,
ship that's I hated twenty nine. I hated eleven, But
I think my least favorite is probably one or two.
Like those are so hard to watch, like they're not
they're not good, Like there's not a lot of good
matches on it.

Yeah, I think I think I again have I had
this Like I recorded it off.

Of you know, like a USA special or whatever.

But it's like history of WrestleMania and it's Vince talking
through all of the first nine WrestleManias in prep for
WrestleMania ten and you know, showing some.

Matches and some clips and things like that.

And I have such an affinity for wrestle media too
because of the stupid Battle Royal and so I like
that to be is like it's the only thing that
puts it over WrestleMania one.
Speaker 3 (53:19):
But I watched both one and two like maybe like
three or four years ago. It might have been during
the pandemic, and I was like, this is this log it.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
Is because I like what Dave said in our group
chat the other day. It's about like how he made
Jimmy watch all like one WrestleMania leading up to like
whatever wrestle Media was that year. I've done that also. Yeah,
and getting through those first like several WrestleManias up until
I want to say six or seven, it's a rough
go for like those first few. It really doesn't really.

Oh, I was just gonna say, it's it's hard because,
like you know, I'll listen to podcasts and I'll listen
to like you know, and I like wrestling screed and
I and you know, those things are really interesting to me.
But I'll hear people talk about like watching like you know,

this stuff that's really awesome, is really awesome. But jesus,
if I have to sit through a mic Ram match

every time I want to watch Star Paide, like, I
don't know if that's worth it to me.

is the most overrated wrestling match of all time.

It's a terrible match. It's terrible. It's all about the
body slam. It's so funny.

Because he's also been body slam so many times before then, right, But.

Yeah, it is. It's all about that. The match is garbage.

Yeah, it's it's not good. It is not good. I
tried to watch it again recently and I was just like,
I think I turned it fast forward to the slam.

and Andre could move a little better, right, maybe we
were seeing something different, but yeah, it's just way past
that point.

Yeah, yeah, definitely. Well, wrestle Mania this weekend, Saturday, Sunday,
Night one, Night two, it's gonna be a it's gonna
be good. I think it's gonna be a decent show.
Last year was a lot of fun. I think they're
gonna have a lot of trouble topping Night One last
year and the year before that, Night One was really
good too, and Night one looks like it's gonna be

great again this year. It's like the way better card.

I think Night one is definitely gonna take it again
this year.

Yeah, that was kind of shocked, like some of those matches,
Like I would I would have flipped some of those
matches one hundred percent.

Yeah, I agree, I think it's it's to me, it's
it's interesting if you put all of Cody's friends and
all of the Bloodline on the same show right now.
You obviously can't do that with uh with the with
the main event having two of them in you know,
each one. But I'm I you know, I would have
loved to see like seven through either on Night one

or Jay and Jimmy on Night two, right just to
kind of change set up a little.

Bit, right, which also makes me think that's why the
Lire match is happening on night one because Damien's cashing
