Speaker 1 (00:04):
Murder, violence and solved cold cases with these politically incorrect assholes.
The Foreshell is not like any true crime podcast you've
ever heard of your life. It's men talking about men's
stuff with murders, with murders wherever you get your podcasts

(00:25):
on YouTube and rumble at radio Forge.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
It's the showcase of the immortals. It's the Granddaddy of
the mall. It's wrestle Mania Week. Welcome to the Offended
podcast presented by the any type of Crubble Network and
Cobbas Clothing. I'm your host, Tricky, and welcome back to
the show. Thomas Thomas. How you do it?

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Oh? Wan's who? It is? WrestleMania Week.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
It's weird because, like I think we said this last
year where it doesn't really feel like wrestlming a week.
But I will say the Rock being back has made
it feel like WrestleMania Week again. It does feel like
a little bit of a WrestleMania build. But I don't
know if you agree with me or not. Other than
like Rock Roman Cody Night one and then Cody Roman

(01:49):
Night two. What other matches I mean, like, are there
any other matches you're really looking forward to? Maybe like
Seth and McIntyre.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah, I mean I think, you know a couple of
those big matches. Yeah, I think Seth and MCIs higher.
I'm definitely looking forward to. Mostly, I'm just looking forward
to how they're gonna tell that story with Sets specifically.
It just feels like they're setting him up for, you know,
for him to get taken down and I was gonna
affect the Tony match of it all depending on how

(02:20):
night one goes, which we'll get to, but yeah, it's
it will be quite quite an odd night for little Sets,
So I'm really interested in that.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Right before we get really into the Wrestledmania talk, I
guess we got to address the the fucking elephant in
the room, uh seem punk in this interview with H
that I can't stand him? What's his name? Yes? Yeah,
oh my god, yeah, I got It's like I just
don't watch AW because it's too goofy for me, and

(02:52):
you know, I gotta do all this and then he
proceeds they have a fucking actual like angle on a
show with Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yep, yeah, yeah, he definitely what was it last year
last Russell Media right where they where he was there too.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Yeah that was a big deal.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
Yeah, I uh, it's not a big deal. It wasn't then,
it's not now, And yeah there's uh he's had a
few folks on and that he had one c him
Punk on earlier in this week.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
There was just some comments by Punk that were made
on that that I was just like, are you fucking
kidding me? Like he was talking out of his ass.
He's pandering, Like, in my opinion, he's pandering to like
the tribalists of like the extreme WWE fans that take
everything so seriously and like, yeah, you know how I

(03:43):
feel about that. Yeah, I totally feel like he's pandering
to them. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's getting
them all raled up to just go and fucking and
take down a w morks. He knows it gets under
the skin of Tony Kahan.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Yeah, No, you're absolutely right, and he knows was much
like all of us do. But Tony is pretty reactive
in those in those ways. Now, I think Tony has
done a pretty good job, uh in in reaction this week.
But yeah, I think it's it's disheartening because yeah, I mean,

(04:19):
what was it just over a year and a half ago. Right,
He's thanking them for renewing his passion, his love. You know,
it's like that first year didn't happen at all. You know,
everything from brawl Out, you know, really is sourad seemingly
everything for him, certainly in relationship with Tony, And I
remember folks talking about about it at the time, and

(04:43):
even the fact that Tony was so he just didn't
do anything during that press conference, right, he just kind
of sat there, And I think he could have lost
respect for any even.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
With that, you know what I mean. And I don't
think that. I don't hold that against Tony when this
lunatic is.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Just I don't. I don't either, because I feel like
if he would have jumped in, he would have I
think Punk would have lost his mind more than I
think he would have like just snapped on Tony Kan.
Then there's a there's a where does it go? There's
a clip I want to play from Where's that? Where's that?
Let find it? Let me find it. There's a clip

(05:19):
I want to play from CM Punk's first promo in
ae W where he basically is talking about how happy
he is and being in aew and everything here. This
is what he said, and just bringing a full circle
to what he said yesterday.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
If you all try to understand that I was never
going to get healthy physically, mentally, spiritually, or emotionally, saying
you in the same.

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Place that can't be sitting.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
In the first place.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
And he goes right back to that place that got
him sick, and it's to alc the bullshit of like
I'm home and yeah, anything that really stuck out, like
from that interview yesterday, that that suck out to you.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
You know, in the one maybe positive part of that
interview was where he actually talks about winstic Man, and
you know, I think he does a pretty a pretty
good job of, you know, talking about I don't feel
like we've got the same you know, well, I just
love him so much. You know that we've gotten from
some other folks who they've they've asked her, you know,

(06:27):
I know the person that I love. This isn't the
person I love that that kind of bullshit, right, And
he was pretty honest and forthright and saying like, you know,
I who gives the ship what I think?

Speaker 3 (06:38):
Like this is the first thing that was hurt and
we should focus on.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
The victim, and he talked about you know it's there,
it's indefensible, and he mostly just thought that this was,
you know, a real idiot, and in a way that
he probably didn't think he was an idiot. And so yeah,
it was that those parts I thought were interesting. I
think the stuff burying a w and bearing the people,
I mean there was I didn't feel like they're the

(07:02):
single person who got out of that really unscathed, even
the folks that he wasn't He didn't go after Joe,
but he didn't make Joe sound like, you know, the
person who really just made the match happen, like.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Right right, It was like that, and like the he
contradicted himself like several times, like in that whole thing too,
especially when he's like talking about how aw doesn't want
to make money. Tony Kahnes is a bad boss. He's
too nice. It's gonna hurt him in the long run.
It's like that dude, he fired you, Like, what do
you mean? He's like, what do you what do you mean?
Then he's gonna say that he quit and that he

(07:38):
was the one that wanted to just get the match
over with when it was Joe, like you said, like
it was Joe was the one that separated them, and
Joe made Punk go out to the ring to wrestle
the match, and there's just so many things that he
contradicted on, But one of my favorite things that was
brought up is him he said this, and I think
he got it backwards. I can salad and and change shit.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
I will continue to do so that's really funny. Yeah right, that's.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
God, fuck you, dumbass. But one of the other things
that really stuck out to me too is the fact
that he even brought that Col Cabana even tried to
squash it and squash all the beef, and he was like, well,
now I'm not going to talk to you unless my
lawyer's around. And then he's like, well, nobody talks me
for six months, and it's like yeah, because they're they're
kind of treating you the exact same way that you

(08:30):
treated Col Cabana, and they're sticking up for Cabana because
he was the adult that tried to squash all the beef,
and like yeah, and then he got fucking Bully Ray's
dumb ass today.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I didn't even see what he said. I bet you
mentioned going on Twitter. I think I've been on Twitter
for two months now, and I don't know if I'm
better for it necessarily, but it definitely doesn't feel like
bloom and doom every second of the day anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
Dude. It's it's so frustrating. It's so frustrating right now,
especially with all these like tribalists and like especially Mania
week and everything, and it's like I just keep saying
that people. I'm just like, I hope you keep the
same energy up once Mania is over and smack Down
moves off of Fox, because it's not gonna this momentum
is not going to stay up, especially post WrestleMania. I'm

(09:19):
wondering what's ww gonna do without Rock and Roman, Like
they lose all that momentum.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Yeah, yeah, because there's still a lot left there, and
there's a lot left unsolved, you know, on Revolt rather
with the bloodline itself, there's there's a lot of pieces
there that you could capitalize on if we were able
to keep one or both of them, and they're not
going to be able to keep either. I have some

(09:46):
other thoughts about that after we kind of talk about
the natural stuff of what I think is going to
keep the momentum, but I yeah, it feels like we're
coming to a big crescendo and it's probably going to
be a big, big deal and then it's I feel
like we're just dipping that same you know that in

(10:07):
the lais before the summer, and we'll see Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yep, one hundred pcent agree with you. Uh. Back on
the Bully Ray thing, one last thing about Punk. He
was basically Bully Ray was saying that Punk was one
hundred percent right. He felt like Punk was telling the
truth the whole time and Jack Perry is a scumbag
and that Jack Perry was an asshole to him also
like a year ago. And it's just like, SHU, shut

(10:34):
the fuck up, Bully, Like I cannot stamp. What has
happened to like these X like WWE guys that like
start a podcast like Bischoff Booker. Actually, Booker's kind of
mellowed out. Actually I'm back to liking Booker again. I
don't know if that's because he almost fought see him
Punk backstage recently or not. But Kevin Nash, I.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
Mean yeah, yeah right.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
And it's like they exposed Nash exposed everybody when he
was like, oh you have a legends deal with ww
You're paid to basically talk shit about everybody else but WWE.
And then Nash's backtracks now on I think he's changed
his story three separate times now about all that, which
is funny to me. But yeah, Bully Ray's saying that today.
And then I saw a clip of Paul London actually

(11:17):
calling Bully Ray just a piece of shit. I've never
seen that clip before. It it was great, and he
was like Paul London was like to him, he feels
like Bully Ray is jealous of like the wrestlers that
are smaller than him and that are kind of in
shape because they get over with the fans a little more,
and he feels like that's what it is, and he
takes it out on them. And I'm like, that makes
some I never thought about that way. That actually makes

(11:39):
a lot of sense. And that's not trying to take
anything away from Bulliray's career, because I mean, the Deadly
Boys are awesome. I mean they were one of the
best tag teams of all time.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
And he outperformed his talent.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
Yeah, and I say that like it sounds maybe for
sure than I need it to, but like he reached
the ceiling that no one thought he could an inventor
like and that was not what he was ever destined for.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
So he you know, outkicked his coverage so.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
To speak, in that right, So he Yeah, he should
be proud of his career, and yeah, he comes out
in super sour phrase all the time.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Right right. I got a question for you. Do you
have a favorite BULLI Ray match that doesn't involve a table?

Speaker 3 (12:24):
I don't think I could point to it. Yeah, I can't.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I can't think of one. I can't think of one
at all.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
But almost every moment that he has revolved around the table,
right like, in terms of right, if you think of
a moment, those are the moments he made, you know,
putting me young for the table a few times, yead.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Every time I think about that, I'm just like, that's
a little crazy, But it was so awesome when we
were like ten, All right, Moving on WrestleMania. WrestleMania forty,
the biggest WrestleMania of all time. I feel like we've
heard this that slogan of what how many times now
we've heard of that slogan?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Probably thirty.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
I want to say thirty eight times? Because once was
once in a lifetime and then it happened again.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
That's true, that's true.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
But the biggest thing on this WrestleMania card that's involved
Cody Roads trying to finish his story against Roman Rings
for the WWE on this undisputed Universal Championship thanks to
WW two K twenty four I never want to hear
that term ever again, and also featuring The Rock and
Seth Frickin' Rollins. Let's get your take on this. How

(13:40):
how do you feel about this built so far with
these four men included?

Speaker 4 (13:45):
You know, I think it's probably everyone would agree if
obviously picked up steam in the last two weeks. I
think that it was really confusing when it first happened,
right the whole setup from the royal until actually getting
the announcement and franklet even after the announcement, like it's been,
it was weird for a while, you know. I think

(14:09):
that the Rock is doing amazing work and they're letting
him do that. I think Cody is doing amazing work.
I think that Roman Romans is really great on Monday.
I think he's kind of been in the background a
little bit. Yeah, The Rock has really taken everyone spotlight

(14:30):
and frankly, the only person that's been.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
Able to keep up with him is Cody.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Yeah, I agree, and.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
So I think there's there's something to.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Be said there, and I've mostly enjoyed it because they
mostly made me forget about how dumb it was to
just get to this place in the first place.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Do you think this was on purpose? Do you think
this was the plan from the beginning, or do you
think like I don't. It's so confusing to me because
I've heard so many different things now like what would
where would they be? Where were punk b if it
was in the picture? Would punk?

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Right?

Speaker 2 (15:00):
It doesn't make sense to me. I feel like a
lot of this could have been avoided. They just would
have had Drew when the world title, like on that
episode of roll or even a few months ago, and
that page I think they wrestle on a pay per view,
But if Drew would have won the world title, then
it frees upset. That makes like Seth is basically acting
like that match doesn't doesn't matter, right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:19):
Yeah, which which is also a problem and true again
with doing a great job with keeping his side at
his end of the bargain.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
But yeah, it's yeah, it makes that feel it certainly
makes the title feel less than what you astutely pointed
out was like the whole storyline of w W two p.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Twenty four.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
They're they're calling attention to it in a way that
they've tried to push back against it.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
It's very odd.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yeah, I don't get it because it didn't make sense.
So you start off with Cody wins the Rumbled and
passes off the title shot to Rock And what's funny
is like, I think if WW you just would have
held on just like maybe like two more weeks, I
think like it would have been fine. I think it
would have been smooth sailing to have Rock Roman in

(16:07):
the main event. But heel Rock right now has been
so entertaining. And the fact they brought back his Hollywood
theme song, Yeah, I love it. Oh if You're like
a little kid again. He wore that calvest that he
wore the nineteen ninety nine he warred it again last night. Yeah,
it's final Boss is awesome. But also Rock are you

(16:28):
stealing that name from somebody?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yeah, yeah, so yeah, Rock Roman? Who you We'll stay
on this one for a minute, just because so I
was doing the rapid fire predictions for the rest of
the matches, because this is the biggest, the biggest match
of all time. Brother, Yeah, who wins Night one between
Rock with Rock Roman against Cody Roads and Seth freaking Rollins.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
I think at this point it's it's not to be
Rock Roman, so we get Bloodline rules for the main event.
I think that's that makes the most sense.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Right, I would have to agree. And then now the
interesting part at night too, In your opinion, what is
going to happen in Roman Reigns versus Cody Roads for
the title?

Speaker 4 (17:17):
I mean, I think that every member of the Bloodline
gets involved. Of course, I think that I have a
feeling that Jay and or Seth are not both. They're
not going to both make it to fight in the
Bay end in sequence because of whatever has happened before.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
So one of them doesn't make it.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
I would put my money on Seth because I also
think it opens up a Seth Cody thing down the
road again.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
So I would put my money on set doesn't make it.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
And instead, I think you do have some of those
people potentially from Roman's past. Maybe maybe a same Vain
and Kevin Owens still show up. Maybe maybe maybe we
see John Cena, right, and maybe we see Steve Boston.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
I can't you know.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
Seeing Austin in the Rock again face to face in Philadelphia,
you know, in the WrestleMania main event. I did certainly
see it happening. That's the longest shot having lost in there.
But I do think we see some additional folks who
may not have been specifically involved with the current story
come back and.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Help back.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
See. For me, I think they dropped a little easter
egg on Monday that w W has been slowly been
doing kind of like what aw's done in the past
few months or the past few years. They drop a
little easter eggs like here and there, and it actually
all the time. I feel like past years in w
always be like, oh, maybe this is gonna happen because
of this, and it just never happened, like and then

(18:53):
in AW, it actually does happen when you point something
out or figure something out behind, like you know, in
the back the like camera shot or wherever. On Monday night,
the last night SETH was like there's always a plan
B and it's like, well, motherfucker, Like last time I
heard that, that was like one of the biggest turns
like in wrestling history, and then you turned on the

(19:16):
Shield's plan b Seth turning on Cody and really retaining
the title.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
I think that's certainly a possibility, right, God, yeah, I
kind of hope it happens. You know the best part
of all of that is that Drew would continue to
get to be right.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
About everybody, right, Yeah, exactly like.

Speaker 4 (19:40):
The really two people that watched the show and remember
what happens. But yeah, it's, Uh, that's really intriguing. And
I don't I don't hate Cody losing, you know, I
think a lot of people have about that, but yeah.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
It's it's interesting also the.

Speaker 4 (19:58):
Fact that they called it to it but Roman's saying
that if he loses, he's done right and what does
what does that mean?

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Right? Or it's just he's bullshitting around. He just shows
back because he's advertised for SummerSlam. I know that. I
think that's the next show he's advertised for. Do you think, uh,
on the side note here, do you think Drew McIntyre
ree signs with w W.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
I did because of how things were going, But I
actually think because of the schedule and he's been talking
a lot about focusing on family.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
I think he may give a shot over there, maybe a.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Short term deal two years or something like that, But
I think I think he'll a w Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
I think so too, especially if because the rumor is
Seamus has signed with AW.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
So in my opinion, I think if Seamus is over there,
that's his that's his buddy. Him and Seamus Cesaro or
Claudio and Drew, they're all buddies. So I'm wondering if
I could see it, I would love to see it.
I love to see that happen. I'd love to see
that happen. A dynasty maybe in Saint Louis not a
big deal. Can't believe we get that pay per view.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
It's too exciting, especially after you know it had been
weirds of them not making good.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Right.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah, we're supposed to get the hang We're supposed to
get the big Hangman payoff, and hopefully now we get
the Swerve payoff.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Yeah, I'm so jealous.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
I'll take a video for you ease. I know how
much you love Swerve.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
All right, let's get into the rapid fire predictions for WrestleMania.
So we're not gonna spend a whole lot of time
on just rapid fire, right, through them. If we want
to talk about them, we can start with Night one.
We'll go with the Women's World Championship match Ria Ripley
against Becky Lynch.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
I think someone's got to retain this week and might
as well be real Ripley.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Yeah, I think so too. I think it's gonna be real.
And not to mention, Becky's contracts coming up like very soon,
like after WrestleMania too.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
So yeah, she said she hasn't signed yet, So.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
Now that she's been very outspoken about that too, she's like,
I was wondering if anybody's gonna notice, Like yeah, I
mean with Mercedes and AW, I wouldn't be surprised. I
really wouldn't be surprised if she leaves.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Next up we have the ww Intercontinental Championship Gunther versus
Sammy Zay. I think. I think Sammy finally ends the
reign of gun the Goo the.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
I do too, and I think specifically because it leads
it leaves old Boonser up to the big leagues. There
of course, but as you know, purely challenging for the
heavyweing title from now on.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Do you think Gunther wins the world title? Probably at SummerSlam.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
I think he wins.

Speaker 4 (22:50):
It isn't the Bash at Berlin, isn't that before then
I think he wins it.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Either going into that or at that.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Yeah, or he could be the you never know, you
could win money in the bank too.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yeah, yeah, next time we got I hated. I fucking
hated that. W said this last night too. By the way,
Michael Cole said this last night. For the third time
in WrestleMania's history, it's real brother versus brother match and
it's like, come on, keep Undertaker Cain.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Yeah, yeah, but j.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Jimmy you so, I mean, Jus is definitely gonna I
feel like gonna win.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Yeah. I don't see any reasons for Jimmy to win
this month.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
I think it may come back to haunt Jay like
I said earlier, but I think Jay's got it.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Next up we have the Trios women's match with Bianca Bella,
Jay Cargill, Naomi versus Damage Control. I mean Jade wins.
I mean it's the Mercedes Monett storyline. It's the exact
same thing, though, like the exact same.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Yep, yep, exactly right.

Speaker 2 (23:56):
I was watching it on SmackDown, Like, wait, but I've
seen this before, but like, literally the entire thing is saying,
start start the show with a promo, come make the
save later on the night and set up your next feud,
which is gonna be Jade and Bianca, which that match
is gonna be fucking incredible.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Yeah, I'm really excited that I'm excited that Jade's finally
finally ready to go.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Right same next till we have a tag match. This
one kind of came out of left field. I feel
like the LWO Raymisterio and Dragon Le versus Santos Escobar
and Dirty Dominican Misterio. I was actually kind of annoyed
that they put Dom in the match. I was like,
I agree, could have put come on just just like
they didn't know what to do, And I personally, I
would rather have just been Raymonsterial versus Santos just in

(24:41):
the big payoff match at WrestleMania. I think Santos has
earned it personally.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
I agree, and maybe they're thinking, like that'll be a
marquee match for a Backlash or whatever's next. But yeah,
I'm not sure, but I agree with you, and I think, yeah,
Dragon feels out of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
But even Dom feels out of nowhere. Right, generally, he's.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Not even eaten the uh you know, he's not even
in legato with Santo's.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Right, it doesn't make didn't make any sense to me.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
That said, I'm gonna go Dom and Santos. I actually
think they get they get it done here.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I think so too, especially since Ray one last year.
I think this is Dom's first will be his first
WrestleMania would have I'm not mistaken, right, Oh oh no,
they had that, they had the COVID WrestleMania or I
think he had a match I'm not saying, right, So yeah,
I'm definitely going Santo's dirty Dom And then finally made
of oh no, uh the six pack ladder match for

(25:43):
the undisputed tag team titles where the match will end
when both sets of titles are pulled down. I kind
of like that a little bit, but does that mean?
Like this is where it gets kind of confusing to me.
It's like, well, let's say if D I Y wanted
to get one title, can they just reach over and
grab the other one and just pull those down.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
To theoretically right?

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (26:04):
Right, So I'm assuming that once one team pulls down
the titles that are out of the batch.

Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah, I think that's probably there.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
Let's see who we got. We got Judgment Day, DIY,
Awesome Truth, New Day, a Town down Under in Newcatch Republic.
I'm going to go with. I think d Y and
New Catch Republic. I think when the tag titles here.

Speaker 4 (26:31):
I think they give it to Awesome Truth, so they
get another I think they give one to Awesome Truth,
so they get another month out of that food.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
And I think Newcatch Republic as well. On the other side,
I heard.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Rumor that apparently Austin Theory and Grayson Lawler might not
be like staying in the.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
Match, which makes me I heard that as well.

Speaker 2 (26:55):
I think it's gonna be the Hardies.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I don't think Jeff's is up yet, right, I don't know.
I didn't think so either, but would just do it.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
But right, I didn't think his was up yet either,
But like they're being really quiet about it, like they're
not it's all about Matt Hardy right now. It's nothing
has been said about Jeff, so I don't know. I
have no idea. I would prefer them to actually stay
in ade was actually I've been enjoying Jeff's kind of
like he'll run right now. Yeah, thanks Sammy Gavara. And

(27:28):
then we got Bloodline Rules where we talked about it.
Blood Line versus Cody Rhodes and Sotuth freaking Rollins. We're
both going Bloodline here all right on a night too.
We have are Leo Leo Sharai. That was so great,

(27:50):
you know, Sky versus Bailey for the women's Championship. I
think Bailey's got to take this right.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
Yeah, I think so. I think we're I think we're there.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
Yeah, definitely. We have l A. Knight versus Aj Styles.
I think ll Ae Knike gets the big winn because
I don't think Styles is staying in WW much longer.
I think he's the leap. I think he's on the
way out as well. I don't know about you, Yeah,
I mean.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
I just hotoly don't know what you do with him,
you know, at this point of his career, like he's
kind of where he needs to be and yeah, so,
and I don't think he can get much more out
of it. Yeah, I'm going to l A Night here.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
Same.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
I hope l A. Knight can. I said this from
the story. I wish they never would have fed the
Roman Reigns.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
It kill.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
It totally killed his momentum, It killed his push like completely,
I know. Next up, we have a triple threat match
for the United States Championship Logan Paul Raind Jordan Kevin Owens.
This is one I honestly have no clue. I can
see any three of them winning. I would not be
surprised if Logan Paul pulls it out, cause I feel

(28:55):
like there's not so far up like what we picked.
There's not a lot of heels winning. Yep, So I'm
gonna I'm actually gonna go with Logan Paul for this match.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Yeah, I was actually going to make the same observation.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Yeah, I think I think it is Logan Paul here,
and you know he's mentioned doing it more full time anyway,
so I don't see why, you know, we wouldn't just
kind of continue down what he's doing, right, Yeah, Logan.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
We got a trio's Philadelphia Street Fight The Pride Uh
Bobby Bobby Lashley, Angela Dawkins, and Monteses Forts Street Profits
against the Final Testament of Carrying across a Keem and
Razar Aop. This was another one I can kind of
go either way. Final Testament I think could use of
w here just to help like their characters out. But

(29:41):
I think Bobby Lashley is gonna win.

Speaker 4 (29:45):
Yeah, I agree wholeheartedly with you. I think that they
need the room, but they're not going to get it.
I think they're gonna, you know, give Montez and Beyonca
both wins at WrestleMania and use it on the next
the reality show.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, that's one hundred. What's gonna happen? Actually one hundred? Uh,
then we got next up? We got I assume in
the co main event, maybe it might kick off the show. Honestly,
World Heavyweight Championship Seth ricknrollands defense against Drew McIntyre. I'm
gonna go with a Seth victory followed by a Damian
Priest cash.

Speaker 4 (30:18):
And I I think Drew Drew has it here, Yeah,
mostly because I honestly think he needs it. Yeah, but
I yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to let's see a
cash either. I'm gonna say he doesn't cash in, but
he cashes in the night after.

Speaker 2 (30:40):
Does Punk Screw over Drew McIntyre. And that's in my
opinion because I think if Drew loses, I think he's
done with ww like because there's no reason why he
shouldn't win this match.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
Then, yeah, I think it's more of a punk tries
to like hit McIntire and gits set.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
I could yeah, I could see that too, honestly, fuck
you Punk and the main event, Roman reigns Cody Rhodes
kind of talked about already. Man. I think Roman. I
think Roman retains.

Speaker 4 (31:18):
I think it's the funniest possible outcome, and I think
they I think they are going to go with Tody here.
I just I just can't see them. But you know
we said this last year too.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
This is.

Speaker 4 (31:32):
Yeah, I'm gonna go Tody, and I'm ready to just
have that ripped out from under me yet again.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
I was more confident last year about Roman winning just
because he was so close to a thousand days. The
only thing I'm kind of thinking this year is because
he's gonna break Hogan's record if he makes it to
Survivor Series. So it's like, yeah, I could totally see
them letting him pass Hogan and then finally dropping it.

(31:58):
But then do you do Cody and Roman again next
year at WrestleMania. That's the question.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
If they could pull it off.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
Well, I think The answer is, yes, you would do
it again, but they have to be something completely different
because it wouldn't work as it's you know, you could
do it three times the same way.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
So yeah, I think they could, but I think it
would be tough.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
But I I was I was thinking like you. I
was thinking on the same lines as you until they
did what they did this week. Would we talked about
Roman breaking Hogan's WrestleMania Main event record, and I thought, well,
that potentially the consolation prize to not getting to the
Hogan record?

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Right?

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Maybe not, Maybe I'm breathing too much into it, but
that's that was the thought that I have, right.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
I mean, there's so many different app like scenarios that
could happen in this match. You have like the Avengers
pay off for you have everybody from past, present future
come out to help Cody win against the Bloodline. You
have the Rock turning on Roman. Finally, you have or
you have Seth turning on Cody. I mean, there's so
many different ways. This is like the one thing I'll

(33:15):
give WW credit for. I mean, this has been the
build for this match has been great, and this has
sold WrestleMania in my opinion.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Yeah, I completely agree, Like they stumbled out of Royal Rumble,
but they righted the ship here, so.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
I think we can get a good one.

Speaker 2 (33:32):
I have to agree. WrestleMania forty Live this Saturday and
Sunday on Peacock. Can't wait to watch it. Okay, we
got one last thing before we get on out of
here today. I wanted to do this a rapid fire,
see if we can come up with a top five
favorite WrestleMania matches and top five favorite WrestleMania moments. Right,

(33:56):
do you want to begin or do you want me
to begin?

Speaker 3 (34:00):
Yeah? Go ahead? And why don't she start matches and
all start moments?

Speaker 4 (34:05):
All right?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Oh man? Do you want to go one by one
or do you want to go?

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (34:10):
That's fine?

Speaker 2 (34:11):
Right shit. I was like, I'll have this idea. I
like purposely didn't think about matches before I got on
here too. Now I'm like, fuck, uh, first, let's go.
I'm gonna go TLC at number five TLC from rustle
Mania seventeen. I mean, you can't. In my opinion, that

(34:33):
match is absolutely incredible. You have like one of the
most iconic spears of all time, from Edge to Jeff
Hardy off the Ladder hanging from the titles. I think,
what do you think that match is better than their
previous ladder match the year prior at sixteen?

Speaker 4 (34:51):
I do, Yeah, I think it's a lot more involved.
There's a lot of interferences, but it makes sense because
it's progressed the story.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's it's the best of them definitely.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
All right, Oh boy, I'm gonna go my number five
Ukfi Kingston and Daniel Bryan. That one was just, uh,
another story that just you know, with two people that
they've done this where they just kind of the opportunities
and just kind of follow into them when they weren't

(35:26):
expecting it and with it and it was a beautiful
story and well told and Kobe had a great run
until the bitter end.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
So yeah, it was it was that that one I
think takes my vis nice.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Nice. Uh, let's go with your number five for moments.
Let's do like a snake draft.

Speaker 3 (35:45):
Yeah, I love it. Yeah, my number five for moments is.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
One that wouldn't used to be my number one, but
it's Sean coming down Russellmingia twelve from the Enter used
to be my number one. There's been a lot of
things that have happened since then. So but yeah, him
him doing.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
The repel down.

Speaker 4 (36:08):
You know, he had done the one in your house,
which was like off the garage, and then he did
this one, and yeah, that was. I was just like,
he's the coolest man alive.

Speaker 2 (36:20):
That is also my number five. That that entrance, I mean,
it's just such an iconic moment of him. Just I wish.
I was surprised that match wasn't in the fucking video game,
for like, or any match from twelve wasn't in the
video game.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
Yeah, me too. That was.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
That was weird because we could have done You didn't
even have to do it for sixty minutes. You could
have done a fifteen minute. People would have got the idea,
you know, right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
I guess I'll go. Then I'll go. Yeah, so it's
my number four matches. Okay, yeah, it's getting late here.
It's almost ten.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
I understand.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Oh yeah, you're in New York now, aren't you. I am, Oh,
so it's almost eleven for you, it is, I was
saying it was backwards still.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Oh nope, no, My wife just worked until until then tonight,
so I had to be around.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
My number four for matches. I'm gonna go from last
year Triple Threat Seamus Drew McIntyre and Gunther for the
Intercontinental Championship. Just three meaty men slapping meat and it
was I mean, they beat the ship out of each other.
I think wasn't McAfee on commentary for that match and
he's just screaming or no, Cole was the one that

(37:37):
was like going nuts that match.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
It was, Yeah, loved it.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, just a barn burn is great, great match, great match.

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Yeah wow, I hadn't even con me and that one
was so so good.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
I'm gonna say for my number four, I just rewatched it,
uh maybe like a month ago, which is bretton Owen
from WrestleMania's ten. I just man, I love that match
so much and it's like, I don't know, it's it's
it's a perfect wrestling match.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
That's like the best way to describe it.

Speaker 2 (38:18):
I just crossed out my next match for number three.
Got the match is so good. A match is so
unbelievably good.

Speaker 4 (38:28):
It yeah, yeah, it's it's it's a masterpiece. Then, okay,
so then my number four moment, my number four moment
is it feels cliched now. I feel like everyone puts
it in and tw always puts it in, but it's
edge spearing mcfoley through the flaming table like that is
like such, it's just burned part of the punch into

(38:52):
my memory.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
It's such a great like just tip of the cap
to like e c W two, just like it does
feel like that that was I know, because it's it's
so funny because that's kind of like what jumps started,
like the revival of ECW in away that and Rob
Van dam winning money in the bank that year. But
in a weird way, it's like it should have been
the end, like it should have been just instead of

(39:15):
like rebooting it, Like that's when they should have just
called it NXT because I mean, in a way, that's
what it came out to be. Anyways, Like, yeah, totally agree. God,
some of those ECW episodes are just so hard to watch.
We're so hard to watch back then.

Speaker 4 (39:30):
Yeah, well I'm pretty sure they have the Evan Bourne and.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Anyway, yeah hard, Yeah, it was not great.

Speaker 1 (39:40):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
My number four moment I would have to say is
Rick Flair's retirement. I mean, at the time, it was
just like just such a it was such a beautifully
written like story told in a pro wrestling match of
like just the putting that the old Yeller sorry I
Love you moment and just Sean Sean be and Sean
and just having that spectacle of retiring Rick Flair and

(40:01):
then Blair goes on the ruin it by coming back
years and years and years later, I mean time and
time again. Actually yeah, yeah, so that brings me to
my third match. I did have Sean Michael's Undertaker down
at number three, but yeah, Brett Owen, It's definitely it

(40:23):
has to be my top three. That match is unreal.
The fact that Owen gets the w and then how
WW doesn't really do anything with Owen after that, like
still blows my mind to this day that Breck was
on the win the championship and you would think, I
think they wrestled for the title at SummerSlam, that you're
in a steel cage.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Yeah that's right, yep, I.

Speaker 2 (40:43):
Mean that that's crazy and an honor will mention for
me that I don't have my list Steamboat and Macho
Man from WrestleMania three. I mean the first, in my opinion,
like the first match that ever stole called the show stealer.

Speaker 4 (40:56):
Yeah, just a great match, A brilliant match, Yeah, be
your third favorite moment. Yeah, I'm on third match, right,
Oh yeah, yeah, my bad, that's right, yeah, my third match.
Oh boy man, there's been there's been a lot.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
Of good right. Like I was thinking about this the
other day.

Speaker 4 (41:20):
There's probably better wrestling per capita, so to speak, on
some other shows than Wrestlemingia. Right, But WrestleMania does have
some genuinely really good, really awesome moments, and one for me,
I think is going to be.

Speaker 3 (41:35):
Sorry, I have the moment, the match is going to
be and.

Speaker 4 (41:38):
It's hard to speak about it now because of things
that have come out, but it's Brock Lesni and Roman Reigns.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
That first one at thirty one is it's a hell of.

Speaker 4 (41:48):
A match, even without the finish, which I'll talk about
the finish later, but it's the hell of a match
and one of my favorites of Romans ever.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
That've actually is really good, especially, isn't that That's the
match where Brock like slams his head into the ring
post and he starts like he busts open like the
hard way, right yep, yeah, fucking psycho, fuck you Brock. Yeah,
it makes me so angry. It makes me so mad,

(42:20):
but that match so good. That match is great, and
then I guess we'll talk about that moment in a minute.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
The moment I'm picking for number three is actually Zach
Ryder winning the Intercontinental Championship.

Speaker 2 (42:31):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
It's just like it feels like.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
It's lost kind of its moment in the sun because
he's been gone for so long. But it was very unexpected,
but like really cool to see like genuine, like the genuine.

Speaker 3 (42:46):
Gratefulness that he had to win.

Speaker 4 (42:47):
And you know, again that didn't stick the landing but afterwards,
but it is.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
One of yeah, good old mac Hardona. Him coming out
on Collision this past week was awesome. That that was
actually awesome bumps watching that. That's he's been been talking
about that being his dream match for so long and
he finally gets to do it. But good for him.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
Yeah, yeah, that was fun.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
My number three moment would be the Undertaker kicking out
of the Pinfall at WrestleMania twenty eight when he gets
the super kick from Sean and the pedigree from Trip Bleach.
At that moment, I was like, holy shit, they're gonna
this is it?

Speaker 3 (43:23):
Yeah yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
That kickout and that the way the crowd pops on
that kick out too. It's like one of my favorite
crowd reactions because they totally bit They totally had him
hookd Lion Sacred like into that whole that whole moment,
that whole match. As probably my favorite Undertaker, one of
my favorite arnt taker matches. A sign from the Sean
Michaels match at twenty five. But yeah, aren't ticker kicking out?
That's my number three moment and then would be my

(43:48):
number two. My number two, it's gotta be Brett hart
Stone Cold Steve Austin wrestle Mania thirteen Submission match. I
mean it's the most iconic, Like just I don't have
this song like my moments, but I mean that the
picture of Austin bleeding it has to be one of
the most iconic wrestling images of all time.

Speaker 4 (44:11):
Yeah, I mean the I never really wanted to wear,
you know, like I never always I think that Austin
really reinvented like the T shirt game right for wrestling,
and like they just weren't cool until that. But I
wanted every single piece, but the one I wanted most
was the bloodstone with him just bleeding on the back.

(44:32):
Like that was the coolest shirt. So yeah, it sold
the you know, it sols Austin's career really the rest
of the time, like it really changed his entire trajectory.

Speaker 3 (44:43):
Absolutely, it's amazing.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
It's actually my number two also, so yeah, I think
it's again another perfect that's again where we're going back
to the whole bread part is the perfect wrestler.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
But we already knew that.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
But did I flipped? I think I've flipped.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Yeah, yeah, me too.

Speaker 4 (45:02):
He really is just he's so good and and Austin
was amazing in that. It's one that it's another one
of those that I watched probably at least once a year.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Yeah, it's it's so good. Do you do you think
Austin becomes Austin if that match doesn't happen.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
It's a hard question.

Speaker 4 (45:24):
I think yes, because I think if they still do
the other things, I just don't think it happens to spense.

Speaker 2 (45:30):
Yeah, I agree, agree with that. Uh yeah, there we go.

Speaker 4 (45:37):
Oh yeah, number two moments Sorry I lost my number five.
Number two moment for me is Sean Michael's uh retiring
essentially but losing his final match and kind of giving
his goodbye Michaels was my favorite wrestler as he was yours,
and so that it just will always stick.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
Out to me.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Yep, yeah, that moment man never want to take to
lose so bad. It's cheering for Michaels the whole time.
And Dave, who was supposed to be on the podcast
for us tonight, he was actually there. He always rubs
it into my face that he was at Sean Michaels's
last match. He wrestled and saw your Arabia, Dave, you
don't get to have that anymore.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
That's right to you. And I was there.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
My number two, my number two moment, My number two
moment is when Mochellman loses to the Ultimate Warrior at
wrestle Mania seven and then Miss Elizabeth comes down. They
have like their moment and it's like it's like, I
don't know, it's just one of those moments where I
think back on it's like one of the more of
the happier moments I've ever seen in wrestling of like

(46:47):
finally they're back together. You have that fan, the iconic
fan crying in the crowd. But it's just like that
should have ended WrestleMania. That night was them was with
Miss Elizabeth on his shoulder, them so celebrating. That should
have been the end.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
But yeah, I agree, they were never gonna pull Hogan
out of it, but if they were to ever do it,
it was done.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
Yeah, but mach Man winning. See, he actually did retire
for like a little bit after that, didn't he like
And then yeah, And it wasn't until Flair like came
in and it was almost like a year, like.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
He didn't know it was. It was Jake Roberts stuff.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
Oh yeah, yeah, it was the wedding after SummerSlam. That's right. Yeah,
god damn. Watchman was so awesome, the best.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
Yeah, so good, all right?

Speaker 2 (47:35):
And my number one, my number one match wrestling history.
I wouldn't be here. I wouldn't be a wrestling fan
without it. Shawn Michael's Bret Heart iron Man match Wrestling
A twelve. It's my all time favorite match. I feel
like I say that and then I'll go back and
watch an aw match like this is the greatest match ever,
Like takesha Osprey was phenomenal, but that match. It wasn't

(47:57):
for that match, I wouldn't be a wrestling fan. So
that's my number one.

Speaker 4 (48:00):
It's I remember where I was sitting, uh when I
watched it, I mean, like it's wild.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
It is.

Speaker 4 (48:09):
Yeah, it's great, and it's just two guys who just go,
you know, balls to the wall. Really yeah, you got
a lot more wrestled obviously back in the day, but
they're really just going at it and you start to
feel the sense of urgency and like Brett playing defense.
Like it's just a well toned story and yeah, it's
it's absolutely up there. It should be in my top five,

(48:29):
but unfortunately didn't crack it. The other one, the one
that did cracket for me, is another of Sewan's best,
which is the ladder match at wrussell Mania ten. Wrestlingia ten,
by and large, is not a good pay per view.
It is anchored by the opener and the ladder match
like that really, you know, really does it for for

(48:50):
that particular WrestleMania. But it more than makes up for it,
because that ladder match is what sold me on on
Michael's I was such a you know, as a little kid,
I'm a big baby faced guy, you know, this whole thing,
and it made me look at wrestling completely different because
of the way that he wrestled and like was doing

(49:11):
his thing.

Speaker 3 (49:11):
It just it changed the way I looked.

Speaker 4 (49:12):
At wrestling so so in a very similar way to you,
Like I wouldn't be a fan or I certainly wouldn't
be a fan.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
I am without that.

Speaker 2 (49:19):
Match nice.

Speaker 4 (49:22):
And my number one moment. I alluded to it, but
it is set for Allins cashing in.

Speaker 3 (49:29):
Cash.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
It was just it was kind of validation to me
for like, you know, I've been kind of not that
I was off to beat me, but I was like
my interest had waned over the past couple of years
and I had just come back and it was really like,
okay that this is like my investment paid off in
like this Shield story and where it went and where
stuft Rollins went and it was like the coolest cash

(49:53):
and I've ember see it still is, so.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
Yeah, it's far not I think then Dulphs are the
top two. I don't think I things gonna top those two.
Those two are just amazing. Wasn't the next nine Rawll
Brolins wrestled uh Pack for the title.

Speaker 3 (50:09):
Yeah, I believe that was the night.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
Yeah, God, I actually thought Pack was winning. They got
me there too. I was like, holy shit, is this
gonna happen like so good and my number one moment
WrestleMania Brian Danielson winning the World Championship. I mean, you
go from such a stinker of Undertaker losing the brock,
deflating the crowd, and it wasn't until like halfway through

(50:32):
that match the crowd finally starts coming back in a
little bit. And then it wasn't until when he gets
put on the stretcher and he comes back. It's like
it worked, got the crowd back in, They're involved again,
and it and in the end, you just have one
of the biggest and loudest pops in WrestleMania history when
Danielsen wins Kofi another you brought it up already, and
that's another honorable mention that I kind of forgot about it. Also,

(50:57):
I guess like you can't show it like on the
video game because of Danielson. But I can't believe, like
when they were talking about that pay per view on
the video game, they don't bring up once that Kofi
won the championship.

Speaker 4 (51:08):
Yeah, I know, Yeah, it makes no sense. They could
have just shown Kofie. They could have just done the
like when he's he's in the ring of his son
and his kids, and they could have just done that.

Speaker 3 (51:18):
But yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
Those were our top five WrestleMania matches in moments before
we get out of here, one quick question, aside from
WrestleMania nine, what is the worst WrestleMania of all time?

Speaker 3 (51:32):
I don't think Wresselonia then is the worst one.

Speaker 4 (51:34):
But I'm also personal to an outdoor WrestleMania, like I
didn't like and I mean that was like peak my childhood,
like when I first started watching wrestling. It was like
when Ross started basically, so like all the people that
I've been watching and like, so to me, I'm like,
I don't know, it's a the Stalzer pick for sure
for me, I think eleven is far worse.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Eleven is bad.

Speaker 4 (51:56):
Eleven is bad, and yeah, I love I mean, the
main event got a lot of coverage for sure at
the time with Lawrence Taylor and dam Bam and I
love dam Bam, but it just wasn't the spot for him.

Speaker 3 (52:10):
Yeah, you know, and uh, you know, I think if.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
They had blocked that and given you Michaels and and
and Diesels last, I think you maybe look at it differently.
But that match was good, but also you know, talking
of Michaels and Diesel. But it's the only like eat passable.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
I feel like mass on that card, right, Oh absolutely,
ship that's I hated twenty nine. I hated eleven, But
I think my least favorite is probably one or two.
Like those are so hard to watch, like they're not
they're not good, Like there's not a lot of good
matches on it.

Speaker 4 (52:48):
Yeah, I think I think I again have I had
this Like I recorded it off.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
Of you know, like a USA special or whatever.

Speaker 4 (52:56):
But it's like history of WrestleMania and it's Vince talking
through all of the first nine WrestleManias in prep for
WrestleMania ten and you know, showing some.

Speaker 3 (53:06):
Matches and some clips and things like that.

Speaker 4 (53:09):
And I have such an affinity for wrestle media too
because of the stupid Battle Royal and so I like
that to be is like it's the only thing that
puts it over WrestleMania one.

Speaker 3 (53:19):
But I watched both one and two like maybe like
three or four years ago. It might have been during
the pandemic, and I was like, this is this log it.

Speaker 2 (53:29):
Is because I like what Dave said in our group
chat the other day. It's about like how he made
Jimmy watch all like one WrestleMania leading up to like
whatever wrestle Media was that year. I've done that also. Yeah,
and getting through those first like several WrestleManias up until
I want to say six or seven, it's a rough
go for like those first few. It really doesn't really.

Speaker 4 (53:52):
Oh, I was just gonna say, it's it's hard because,
like you know, I'll listen to podcasts and I'll listen
to like you know, and I like wrestling screed and
I and you know, those things are really interesting to me.
But I'll hear people talk about like watching like you know,
eighty and the Way and like stuff, and it's like, yeah,
this stuff that's really awesome, is really awesome. But jesus,
if I have to sit through a mic Ram match

(54:13):
every time I want to watch Star Paide, like, I
don't know if that's worth it to me.

Speaker 2 (54:20):
Are you in a grants with me? That Hogan Andre
is the most overrated wrestling match of all time.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
It's a terrible match. It's terrible. It's all about the
body slam. It's so funny.

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Because he's also been body slam so many times before then, right, But.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Yeah, it is. It's all about that. The match is garbage.

Speaker 2 (54:41):
Yeah, it's it's not good. It is not good. I
tried to watch it again recently and I was just like,
I think I turned it fast forward to the slam.
I was like, just get just get me to the part,
Just give me to the part. It's so slow.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
I can't now if this was eighty three, you know,
and Andre could move a little better, right, maybe we
were seeing something different, but yeah, it's just way past
that point.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
Yeah, yeah, definitely. Well, wrestle Mania this weekend, Saturday, Sunday,
Night one, Night two, it's gonna be a it's gonna
be good. I think it's gonna be a decent show.
Last year was a lot of fun. I think they're
gonna have a lot of trouble topping Night One last
year and the year before that, Night One was really
good too, and Night one looks like it's gonna be

(55:22):
great again this year. It's like the way better card.

Speaker 3 (55:24):
I think Night one is definitely gonna take it again
this year.

Speaker 2 (55:26):
Yeah, that was kind of shocked, like some of those matches,
Like I would I would have flipped some of those
matches one hundred percent.

Speaker 4 (55:34):
Yeah, I agree, I think it's it's to me, it's
it's interesting if you put all of Cody's friends and
all of the Bloodline on the same show right now.
You obviously can't do that with uh with the with
the main event having two of them in you know,
each one. But I'm I you know, I would have
loved to see like seven through either on Night one

(55:55):
or Jay and Jimmy on Night two, right just to
kind of change set up a little.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Bit, right, which also makes me think that's why the
Lire match is happening on night one because Damien's cashing
in night too. But definitely, well, Thomas, do you have
anything you want to promot before we get on out
of here?

Speaker 4 (56:15):
Nothing yet, working on something, but it's the work in
progress and just moved here, you know, five months ago
where I think we're getting settled, but we'll see. I
hope to have an announcement seeing about a new podcast
what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
But for now, which is where you keep.

Speaker 2 (56:30):
Getting nice, nice, lovey. I can't wait for that new
podcast and definitely gonna have some news coming out shortly,
maybe your little website coming out for Offended, so stay
tuned to that. And Thomas, thank you again for coming on. Man.

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life.
