Presenting the transcription feature Superman.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Up the Sky Coop the Pin. It's Superman.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Now Superman, Vagant, Fighter for Truth and Justice, Champion of
the Week and the Helpless had appeared on Earth with
a physical structure never before attained by mortal man. Superman
who is stronger than a locomotive, faster than a speeding bullet,
and walked about among human beings as Miles Clark Ken,

(03:00):
news reporter for the Daily Planet. When we last saw him,
Superman and his character of Clark Kent was on his
way to Bridgerfield, a private airport in the Southwest, to
investigate a series of mysterious plane crashes. As our story
continues today, some time has passed and Ken and Jimmy
have reached bridger Field. He and Kent are beginning their

(03:21):
investigation listen, here's my office, Kent, close the door and
pull up a chair. Where's young Jimmy. I believe you
went into del rear with one of your men. Jimmy
is still young enough to be attracted by a circuits.
I still don't understand how you and Jimmy finally got here.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
I thought I told you.

Speaker 6 (03:41):
Jimmy got left on that sighting, and I hopped off
the train and went back to find him, and we
just waited until the next treak came.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Along and rode in on that.

Speaker 7 (03:49):
But about that.

Speaker 6 (03:50):
Gorilla, You're lucky you're still alive to televise it, don't
I know it? That wasn't any accident, Hamlin, or what
I say? That wasn't any accidents. That cage door was
left unlatched, and whoever did it meant to do it?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Good?

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Heavens can't why? That's what I'd like to know myself.
And also why was our plane attacked in the air?
Why did they come after us with machine gun? No,
it's mad, perfectly mad, And that traces out all over
the country. That attacking JEP had simply vanished, and yet
we know it crashed. You said that, didn't you?

Speaker 8 (04:19):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yes, yes, it crashed, all right, I'm not surprised it vanished.
You're not, Hamlin.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Any power that could bring down six planes during their
test flights right over this airport wouldn't have much trouble
in disposing of a single plane out in the desert.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
You can't think what you're saying. I know what I'm saying, Hamlin.

Speaker 6 (04:36):
I'm absolutely convinced that the cause of the wrexit, Bridgerdfield
is deliberate and human.

Speaker 7 (04:41):
Yes, radiogram just came then, mock.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
All right, baby, lean, wait, excuse me where you get
Certainly this is news? Am I allowed to ask? We're
being investigated now? All right, there's trouble ken, What do
you mean?

Speaker 6 (05:01):
This says arriving Bridge at twelve thirty, and it's signed Fuller.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Who's following who?

Speaker 6 (05:07):
Just the president of the National Air Service. That's all
that Fuller, the President.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Of the Lions.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
Can he does things like this all the time, flies
his own plane wherever he goes. It's supposed to keep
us on our toes and have the big Boss stop
in by himself and then announced a matter of fact,
that is what's the time now for the past twelve
It's about fifteen minutes more time than he usually gives us.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
What's that her clock's.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Out of my hear and no, that's the automatic radio
warning weather report coming out of the riel, switching on with.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Don't you get weather reports from the government?

Speaker 6 (05:41):
Oh yeah, sure, we was used this as a check
many how often they don't check?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Wait it warms up? Doing all right here consali.

Speaker 9 (05:52):
Bloodcat gallery weatherfo and important dorm coming plane will be
arriving gale in neck or potably a.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Few hours or meet it.

Speaker 9 (06:09):
You record what all our gale part will repeat when.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
It shut it off? My daughter is mind the Disney's
plan to talk I ever heard?

Speaker 6 (06:20):
Well, to be fair to the pr you see the
Mexican translating into English as he goes along.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
But even then they're hard any gales coming? Is he
always that far off? Oh no, no, only on this
is really important stuff.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
When he says.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Important, you can but almost bread he'll be wrong. Well,
now getting back to the trouble, Yes, there are several
mighty interesting points Hamlin. For one thing, what happened to
the motors? You remember you told me in the plane
just before you got hurt, and in every single one
of the recks when you got to them, you found
the motors missing, that's right, and they simply have vanished.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
How do you explain it? Can't I can't explain it.
It's fantastic, not possible. Yes, what is it really? It
looks like a dust storm coming up, sir?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
That storm?

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Where is it coming from over in the northeast. Hey,
that's sort of bad, is it? Hammond?

Speaker 6 (07:02):
What about mister Puller? And that's what I'm thinking of.
He has lucky to get here just about the same
time the storm does that'll be all poor too. Go
out to the field they lay out, be right out.
We're expecting a plane. Very good, Come on, Kevin, was
really a Dutch storm coming at something to watch?

Speaker 2 (07:21):
What are they doing with those planes getting them under cover?

Speaker 6 (07:24):
Hey wait a minute, that does look like a storm
at that coming right down the valley. Haln, I think
you did that Mexican an answer, and in justed nonsense,
he said, gales, not just storms. Well maybe in Mexican
have the same thing. Hey, that seems pretty terrifying.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Is it as bad as it looks? It gets good
and dark and everything is inches deep and dust? Uh huh,
thank Kevins.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
We don't get many of them, though. What I'm really
worried about is fuller.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
He'll turn back when he sees it. One he him
turned back, and you don't know him.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
How can he see the lamb? He can unless he
gets here first. When did he say he get here third?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
It wasn't It must be pretty near that right now?
Is he palm on the nose?

Speaker 6 (08:00):
Maybe sooner, because if he's coming from the west, he's
going to a following wind.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
What do you mean the wind's with the storm, isn't it? No? No,
only near the ground. I haven't time to explain it
all out. But the hammer, Yes, there is coming in
from the wet where I don't see it. And there
it is. It's just a spike that's growing all the time.

Speaker 7 (08:16):
The fool he.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
Can see what's happening when, don't need to turn bank.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
Hey, if he doesn't work fast, he'll meet the dust
head on it's coming down the valley hard Hamlin say
that there's some in the air already.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Can't everybody get inside, get on the shadow when it hits.
It's bad. I may do that because if you have
thrown in your eyes, wait a minute, where is he
now going?

Speaker 7 (08:33):
But don't think gonna make it.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
The dust will get it before he can get down.
Maybe warn the ambuance wo telling the standby for a
fresh Hameln.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
He's lower.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
He's gonna try to make it, touch and go go.
We ought to go back. Look, he's down with hams
and feet. Here comes the dust. Can't can't you get that?
Get inside the house? Okay, Hamlen, this isn't my job.

Speaker 7 (08:51):
I'll see you later.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
What's going on up there? What's happening but the hammers?

Speaker 5 (08:54):
He's trying to bank he's going back.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
No, he'll never make it now, he hasn't.

Speaker 7 (08:58):
A chance, Hailey.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Look in the heaven. He's in flames.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
He's passing the planes.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
That it's just like all the others. He's on fire
and he's going to crash.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Ami qua quick, wrong for you, not much time for this,
Thank Heaven for the dust storm. At least they think
Clark Kent still back in the house. Out for that
plane up up fast, fire.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Getting there. Oh he's a fire blazing. I was afraid
of that. I thought they'd do it.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
Whoever, they are quick quick, kind of cat's plane before
it crashes.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
Yeah, here we are, Oh what chat now? Then right
through the cabin.

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Buller is the buller hell.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Chree who's right out unconscious?

Speaker 5 (09:48):
Great heaven is like a furnace, motor's on fire. Quick
over my shoulder for almost on the ground when a
crash any second, out out and away.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
H So, mister Fuller, you assure you you are right now?

Speaker 8 (10:09):
All right?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Was a nasty crash. Mister I don't think I know
this gentleman handler, thank your pardon.

Speaker 6 (10:14):
He's the hell of the push out of the record.
He didn't even know he was there. That wasn't anything
he hadn't got you when he did. Well, sir, I'm obliged.
He's mister Kemp Clark m st. All I can say
is thank you, thank you very much now that Hammon.
I'm here for two reasons. First to find out what's
been going on. We'd like to know that ourselves disgraceful
and absolutely disgraceful. What's it all about it, mister Fuller,

(10:36):
So we don't know, we haven't any idea right, No,
you were coming out and warned you all on me,
oh on me, Well, well say you saw what happened,
even to you acisely, and I shall stay here till
the whole thing is solved.

Speaker 7 (10:49):
But that's not the most.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
Important thing handling.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
No, sir Hamlin, this is too d right, so on
their DV just forty eight hours from now, or sightly more,
this field will entertain the most distinguished bit there, distinguished
visitor coming here, here and nowhere else. At the moment,
I can't tell you who or what this visitor is.
But if anything should happen here at the field, mister
fullis really he shouldn't come, shouldn't go under the circumstances,

(11:13):
I can't be responsible.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Why must he come to Bridger.

Speaker 6 (11:16):
He's coming to Bridger for good and sufficient reason. I
can't tell you any more than that, except that you
will be responsible, mister Fuller, if you'll allow me a word.
I think mister Hammon is right. Unfortunately, this is a
decision for ourselves.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Not that I mean to be rude.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
You understand, Hammond. You have forty eight hours to make
Bridger Field secure and prepare for our guests.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
That's all.

Speaker 8 (11:39):
No, no, no, no, not now.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yes, it's the boy, say young Jimmy os Well, what
is is he hurt? Has anything happened?

Speaker 6 (11:46):
So? But he's back from del Rio, back from the
circumstance again He says, he's got to see you right away.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
He says, it's important for you to come. Whatever you're doing,
he says he's got.

Speaker 6 (11:53):
To see he don't come marching seconds fast at the
lonely Airport of Bridgerfield. Can Superman solve the mystery in
forty eight hours time? Can he prevent accident to the
distinguished visitor arriving on a mysterious errand? And what has
young Jimmy Olsen discovered at the love Back Tent show
where Professor Hagen works out his sinister plan.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Tune in and follow the next exciting chapter of Superman.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
Top in the Sky, Who It's a Bird, It's the Pain,
It's Superman.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
Superman is a copyrighted feature appearing in Action Comics magazine.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
All Right, everybody, welcome back.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
Well.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
I love the part where they're listening to the radio,
or after they listen to the radio to hear the
weather report and they find out that dust storms are coming,
and Hammon's like, but the radio weather reporter said, gels,
no dust storms, And I'm thinking, yeah, but what do
you think causes dust storms? So I didn't really understand

(13:11):
that part there with Ed Hamlin also want to know
why in the world the President is coming to Bridger Field.
I mean, seriously, all these terrible plane crashes have been happening.
It looks like something sinister is going on. The President
thinks it's a great time to fly out there. But nevertheless,

(13:32):
we have a nice save there by Superman as he
saves Fuller, and Fuller also tells Hamlin that he is
responsible for solving this mystery and finding out what's going on.
Uh No, I don't think so. I think that's a

(13:52):
job for the police or like the FBI, not really
a job for ed Hemlin. But at any rate, we
also hear at the end that there's a promise of
a new special visitor on the way, and we're not
told what it is. Also, Jimmy has something to tell

(14:17):
Clark Kent that he has gathered from the circus. So
a lot of mystery. We still don't know what's going on.
It's part three and we still don't know what's going
on in this storyline, so we'll just have to stick
around and find out. All right, folks, we are going
to take a quick break and then we'll be right

(14:38):
back with Part four of Airplane Disasters at Bridger Field. Okay, everybody,
welcome back. Let's go ahead and get into part four
here of airplane disasters at Bridger Field, and this one
aired May sixth of nineteen forty.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Enjoy presenting the transcription feature Superman.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Up in the sky, whoop hits the words the same
It's Superman.

Speaker 6 (15:18):
And now Superman, Mighty visitor from another world who came
to Earth when the planet Krypton was destroyed by quakes
and the explosion Superman who convends steel in his bare hands,
leap tall buildings at a single bound raises, feeding bullet
to its target. We walked about among human beings, this
champion of the week and the oppressed in his character

(15:39):
of Clark Kent, news reporter. When we last saw him,
Kent was in the Southwest with Jimmy Olsen, copy boy
of the Daily Planet, to investigate a series of mysterious
crashes among test planes that lonely fringe her fields. While
Jimmy had gone to the circus in the nearby town
of Del Rio, just across the border, Kent had barely
prevented another tragedy on a plane bearing mister Buller, the

(15:59):
president the company, arrived unexpectedly and burst into planes over
the field rescue. The President told Kent and Ed Hamlin,
manager of the airport, that in forty eight hours the
distinguished visitor would arrive at Bridger Field, and that it
was up to Hamlin to prevent any further accident. That moment,
a field attendant came into when the young Jimmy had

(16:19):
returned from the circus and wished to see Kent at once.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
The story continues today an.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
Hour at past Kent and Jimmy are being driven across
the border to Del Rio and Jimmy has amazing news listening.

Speaker 10 (16:34):
All right, mister kidd, I'll start talking, But first, who's
the important visitor mister Fuller said was coming to Bridge
of Field.

Speaker 6 (16:40):
I'm not sure, Jimmy. Mister Paul wouldn't say. But you
know what the National Air Service does. They make planes,
so they are very special planes. They do a lot
of experimenting. If I'm not mistaken, this visitor isn't a
man at all. It's some brand new type of plane
and they're bringing it to bridge and Field because it's
the most out of the way place they can think
of to test it.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Why hitches up with what I found out the circus?
What do you mean.

Speaker 7 (17:03):
Well, I was sort of in.

Speaker 10 (17:03):
An alley way there by the tents, and all of
a sudden I saw that brakeman. It was on a
circus train, and he tried to grab me. What did
you do the way I lit out? I ducked around
a bunch of wagons and he never did find out
where I went. And then came the next thing.

Speaker 5 (17:17):
Go on, well, mister Kent, I crawl up alongside.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
A little shack, you know, I wanted to get my wind.

Speaker 10 (17:22):
Yes, all of a sudden I heard a couple of
guys talking inside, and they were talking about aeroplanes at
bridger Field.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
They were who were they?

Speaker 10 (17:30):
He wouldn't believe it, mister Kennon. One of them was
a circus throng man. They called him a Russian. His
name was Fodor.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
And the other was Professor hayen Hagen.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Who's he?

Speaker 10 (17:40):
He's the animal trainer. I saw him put on his
act at the circus. That's how I knew Hagan trains
all the wild animals.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
The boys he grew. I will never mind that. What
were they saying? You'd never believe it. I heard one
of them mentioned bridger Field. I think it was Hagen
then I began to listen.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
You say something is going to happen, Professor, in a
very short while, photo shorter even than they think it
bridge your field from the fools they think they have
until the day after tomorrow. From information I have just received,
they will have no longer them tonight. No, are you
sure not positive?

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Photo?

Speaker 6 (18:18):
Really sure enough to take all precautions. The final message
will come later in the usual way. Are you mean
by that?

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Joe?

Speaker 7 (18:26):
But tell me, professor, what is this sting which happens
at the airfield?

Speaker 2 (18:31):
Say?

Speaker 6 (18:31):
I think they have found something new for the something
in flying machines, never before realized, and the secret so
secret that not even the officials that bridge your field.

Speaker 7 (18:42):
Know what comes.

Speaker 6 (18:43):
But I know, I tell you now for door, it
will never come. It will go the way of all
the other It will not Tell me, Professor, why do
you do this? Why do I bring down the planes?
Never mind why my frame? We are well paid you
and I. That is all we need to know. The
rest does not concern does it?

Speaker 9 (19:02):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (19:03):
No, No, I was just I just asked, as I say,
for I leave it once for the cabin in the gills.
Your job will be to stay here and see if
nothing goes wrong. Once I have arrived and arranged the
new wiring, there will be no further occasion for the
radio until they I tell them later tonight. There may
be one last message I shall receive that wherever I

(19:26):
happen to be. Now come we waste too much time
already come back.

Speaker 2 (19:33):
And that's all I heard, mister Kent. Jimmy, I should say,
you hurt plenty. But mister Kent, what does it all mean?

Speaker 6 (19:38):
It means Professor Hagen, masquerading as an animal trader in
the circus, is responsible for all those plane accidents. Jimmy,
what we need is proof. Without it, we can't do
a thing. We don't even know what's going on. We
only guess what's Hagen actually doing. Where's this mysterious cabin
on the hills above all? Jimmy, what's he going.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
To do when he gets there?

Speaker 1 (19:58):
I'm with you, mister Kent.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
Where at least do it? When the minute we get
to tell Rio that's to where?

Speaker 5 (20:04):
Well?

Speaker 6 (20:04):
I think we'll have a look at that shack in
the circus grounds. Ah, hang on, Jimmy, we're gonna tell
our pal out and front put on a little more
speedy I've got dark in a hurry all right, Seeing
they're not giving a show tonight, they're gonna move out tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
Maybe that's why is.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
This the shack? Yep?

Speaker 6 (20:30):
This is it?

Speaker 2 (20:31):
White? Mister ken.

Speaker 6 (20:35):
Sounds like a manatually the heart of the circuit. Call right, Jimmy,
who were lucky fighting that hole the fence? What about
the shack, mister ken I think it's empty. Let's see
if the door's open.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Well, if they cancous, I'm gonna have to chance it.
Oh good, it's unlocked. Come on, Jimmy, See we're right,
mister Kenned, is empty. Close the door. We want to
look around. Okay, I'm kind of flash, but there, mister Kenner.

Speaker 6 (21:02):
Yes, that explains the sudden disappearance of Hagen and a
strong man. It's the tap door into the cellar and
it's open. Darling, who has got a little shock like
this and have a suck. Mister Kenna, you're going down
there directly. Our scheming friends went down here. It's more
than just a cellar, and there's a tumble down here there.
Hear me.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
I'm coming, mister kidd he it is a tune. It
wasn't gods a lock. Trudge me you close behind me.
Listen that's sounded. He came down head. I think it
can then, Professor Hagen, right over the entry to underground cave.

(21:42):
Come on, come on to me. I think it opens
out into a kind of a room. Watch in the rock.
There's somebody in there is always Hagen. What he said
was true. Is not much time for fooling around.

Speaker 7 (21:59):
It is.

Speaker 6 (22:01):
The old place seems to be absolutely deserted. I wonder
where they all are. See what's that quiet like?

Speaker 2 (22:11):
They Brock's radio? Quiet walk, give me a penske.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
Final report them coming.

Speaker 11 (22:26):
We'll mean the arriving rain near midnight, all day each other,
the wind rain, not the mid Oh gee, it was.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
The busiest stuff. I am behood. But he said it
was a report, That's what he said.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
But I'm beginning to think, go here, Jimmy. And then
in the shack that said no Hagen Podor, didny say
something about the radio?

Speaker 2 (22:49):
Sister kids, someone's coming?

Speaker 9 (22:50):
What good?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Right down the stair away from the shack. We've got
to get out of You're quick. It's too late. We
can't make it. You mean, it's see if we tried
it now back back if they come right into this room.
Got the chance that quick, I'll stay up and over
the biscuit. Get that closet, stay with you can be
fly in that closet.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Keep the door closed, okay, remember whatever happens, keep that
door closed.

Speaker 12 (23:14):
Ooks though there might be something doing pretty soon there is.
I don't want Jimmy around when Superman does this stuff.
Whatever it is, he's coming this way right into this room.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
He's in there. If anyone is in the room of Professor.
What you do here?

Speaker 6 (23:33):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (23:33):
Nothing? Just looking around? What you do down here? How
you getting in the same way you did down the stairs?
You know who I am.

Speaker 11 (23:41):
I am for a.

Speaker 8 (23:43):
Very interesting you down here when you do not belong

Speaker 7 (24:08):

Speaker 2 (24:11):

Speaker 5 (24:21):
He now wat hey, I cat what I he show?
I'm sorry Now it's my turn. As I said, I've
been strongmen double them up like Jack and I'll Hey,
now you're in the way.

Speaker 7 (24:39):
I think he said something about throwing me against the wall.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Well see how you like this?

Speaker 2 (24:45):
I think that takes care of hood or no. Back
to Jimmy as Clark. All right, Jimmy, you can come out.
Jamester jed what happened? I heard? Terrible crashes?

Speaker 6 (24:59):
Just the argument your friend photo or the strong man
he's over there on the corner. Gosh, mister Kent, don't
tell me you'll lick the strong man. We didn't exactly
lick him, Jimmy. He more or less tripped, fell on
his neck. That was the crash you heard.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
Golly, he's out like a lot. Hey, what are you doing?
Ji means there's no time to lose. Anybody heard that round.

Speaker 6 (25:20):
They'll be actress. And if we expect to find anything
you we better start looking now. Not over there, Jimmy,
We'll start looking right here. Mister Kent, what do you mean, Jimmy,
this piece of paper I took down. What that Mexican
announcer said over the radio.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
You did what for? Because maybe it's only a hunch.
I can't be sure. No, it's not a hunch. I
was right, Jimmy, look here, fuck.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Look at what what a Clark Kent found in the
busness of Professor Hagen hide out far underground?

Speaker 5 (25:54):
What is he staring at so fixedly? And what can
he do to save the mysterio? Is airplane? You'll do
arrive so soon that Bridger del tune in next time
and follow the story.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Up in the sky. Whoop, it's a bird, it's a plain,
it's Superman.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
Superman is a copyright feature appearing in Action Comics magazine.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
All right, so we're starting to find out a little
bit about what's going on in this mystery. We've got
these two bad guys and they're trying to take down
these planes for some devious reason, And of course Professor
Hagen won't say what the reason is. He just says

(26:51):
that we're doing what we've been told and we don't
need to ask any more questions.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Now.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
This is probably, in our reality, has something to do
with World War II and the turmoil in war that's
going on in the world, and America is about to
get involved in the war. We're not that far away
from getting involved in the war at this point, so
it probably has something to do with international warfare. But

(27:22):
as I've mentioned before, in the Yellow Mask storylines, where
the Yellow Mask would never explain who hired them or
why they're doing the things that they're doing. This is
probably due to the fact that the writers don't want
to mention any names. They don't want to mention any
countries because this is a very tense time in the

(27:44):
world and there's no need to get involved until, of course,
America is forced to get involved after the bombing of
Pearl Harbor later on in the Superman radio program, they
will not hesitate to explain who they are fighting and
so forth, such as Nazi Germany and the Japanese. I

(28:09):
love that part where Superman was explaining to Jimmy Olsen
what happened to Frodo or Ford or whatever his name is,
and he was like, ah, he chipped and fell on
his neck. I was like, well, that doesn't sound good
at all.

Speaker 7 (28:27):
Is he dead?

Speaker 4 (28:30):
It is like the explanation sometimes gets me. All right, folks,
