JT Here. Honestly, meditation has changed my life. But let
me tell you, finding stillness isn't always easy. Light distractions,
restless thoughts, they all get in the way. That's why
I started using the Manta Sleep mask. It's not just
for sleep, it's for pure relaxation. The one hundred percent
blackout design helps me block out everything, letting me sink
(00:23):
into deep meditation without distractions. The soft adjustable fit means
there's no pressure on my face, just a gentle weight
that helps my body relax. Whether I'm meditating, doing breath work,
or just need a break from the world. This mask
is my go to tool. If you're serious about deep relaxation,

I appreciate it. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
You know, it took us, you know a little bit
around two years to do this, finish this album, you know,
in the lot obviously happened through out our lives in
the world, so you know, it's it's finally nice to
actually have a d out to everyone to hear it
and has to go play it live, you know.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Because it definitely was a lot, a big it's definitely
a big piece.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Of our life.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
Yeahthing my birthdays in May.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
So I'm dragging my dragging and scratching my feet and
make it to that thirties.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
But it's it's coming quick.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
And I know I started playing guitar when I was twelve,
but I definitely wasn't a pro. Wasn't a pro then,
but I mean, you know, it's just it took a
good amount of time just kind of me playing guitar
and and just kind of working on little lyrics and
melodies for years, at least ten years, just like you know,
kind of just like on the download, like I'm like
(02:42):
kind of low key, and then then started to performing
with bands and then like discovering the art of recording,
you know, because growing up, like we had laptops and
people have pro tools are logic and and I was
like really fascinated with that, and then just started like
like one of the big pieces of like of all
that is just me getting a laptop when I was younger,
because then it was like I could like start recording myself,
(03:04):
you know, and that was a big piece of me
learning how to produce music and and just like kind
of write and piece together everything. So that was a huge,
huge piece. But yeah, I didn't you know, wood shopping
and workshopped in music for a while and then so yeah,
I mean it's been almost you know, seventeen years since
(03:24):
I started really like kind of like directing like my
life towards like doing music. I don't know when when
that became professional, but somewhere along the line we started
getting more.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Bro a lot of different type of artists.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
I mean growing up, like I really like Beatles and
Rolling Stones and Prints and Rick James and stuff. So
I remember my dad took me to a Rolling Stones
concert in La the Hollywood Bowl when.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
I was like twelve, and I was like, wow, like
this is that.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
It was definitely like it like all my senses were
like really triggered to like this is like this is
like so new and different, and I'm like what is this?
I was like very super curious. I think I had
a lot of curiosity. And then I mean just all
different types of bands. I remember MGMT was a big
band and when I was growing up that I was
really like obsessed with and I was like.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah. Then we ended up like going to one of
their shows, like meeting.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
Them, and I was like, man, I just like I
really loved them. I really loved the music they were making.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
And then GMT like KG Elefant too, Like when I
was growing up like middle school, I was like it
was like high school, but like things like that was
just like man, like you know, I can kind of
write stuff like that and just kind of kept trying
to do stuff like that. And they were definitely like
influencing like the rock and the like since stuff like
(04:43):
that I wanted to try to do and stuff like that.
So you know, there's like there's the classics and then
there's the more like current you know, like ones that
were like kind of like when I was older obviously
not like growing up when I was a kid, but
things like that that like really inspired me and still
do today. It's actually really really beautiful weather. I know,
so it rained a lot like the last couple of.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
Weeks, but that you're super gorgeous out here.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
You're living in Boston.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
San Francisco gets kind of colder a lot easier because
they're like a little bit northern, northern, and like they're
on the Bay generally, so I think San Diego gets
more similar weather to like La Yeah, yeah, because because
San Francisco's in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
So yeah, that's not a good amount of time there.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
And it's just like you know, like you know, on
a on a whim, like literally that fog can just
start creeping up and you're like, whoa, this happened.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Quick's escalated. Yeah, you know, so yeah, that's what you
can get cold.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
It's like the middle of California or I guess it's
a little bit northern in the middle, but it's like
on the water on the Bay and then the ocean,
so it's like they've got they've got some creepy fog
out there, but it's a cool town.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
So this is simply unique and.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
Like trying of jam packed all together kind of like
New York, you know, and but uh.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
We play up there like you know, good amount we
have it yet, actually we haven't. Yeah, so I have
some friends that are from out there and stuff. But
we did our first US tour this past year and
we didn't make it to Boston. We did like Philly
and New York and DC and stuff like that, but
definitely want to get out to Boston on their next
(06:15):
little runner out there. I mean, we're definitely working on
new music because we're you know, we're eager to you know,
obviously that the Remarks album, like we you know, we
put out.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
We spent a long time on it.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
But we're now eager, obviously after we tour to to
work on new news and get new music out. So
we're gonna be definitely releasing some new music, you know,
within the next handful of months. But we're super stoked
on We've just been writing and recording also, and then
so yeah, there's definitely gonna be a lot of new
music coming out this year as well.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, we're going on tour on Tuesday.
Speaker 5 (06:44):
We're going to uh, We're going to Arizona, We're going
to Tempe, We're going to New Mexico, and they're gonna
do a few dates in Colorado.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
It's gonna just gonna be.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Like a week tour. But yeah, we love we love.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Colorado, Arizona, We're going up to Mexico. Yeah, it's just Creature.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Canyon and the Instagram, Twitter, just Creature Canyon, you know,
all the TikTok and YouTube and all that stuff.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
It's pretty easy.
Speaker 5 (07:09):
Kind of we we met our band name, we just
kind of literally just like put it in the Google
search engine. We're like, is this the only thing that
comes up? And they're like, yeah, so if you just
had yeah, if you just kind of put it into
Google and just Creature Canyon, you'll be able to find
you know, find us on all the platforms and all
that stuff. But yeah, it's pretty easy to find us.
(07:29):
The follow and definitely, you know, but check out our
album remarks. You know, we're really proud of it. Cool
Katie yeah, thanks for having me Man, Then we'll definitely
have to do it again.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Maybe when we get out to Boston. Man, we'll got
