blog Talk Radio dot com Lord Slash, Patricia Going, call in now we're
live and five one six three eightseven one two four seven what's going on?
(08:01):
You have tuned in to another episodeof On the Moon Unscripted with Patricia
M. Going and mister Stout SouthStout Stout And yes, you are in
the same building day. Yes,I know, you know. I've been
in Atlanta for like the last monthor so. Unfortunately, you know,
(08:26):
my father passed last Thursday. It'sbeen it's been rough. It's been emotionally
rough. So my heart goes outto anyone who has lost a loved one,
you know, because I can sympathizeand empathize because it's so serious,
you know, especially when you're theoldest, you know, because when you're
(08:48):
the oldest, it's like it's expectedof you to do take care of everything
or whatever. And if you've neverdone you know, actually had to do
the funeral arrangements, had to goto the hospital more of all that kind
of stuff, it could be traumatized. It's been traumatizing to me, y'all.
I'm not gonna lie. I'm like, I thank you Kenny for being
(09:09):
there with me because I you andmy mom, because I don't know if
I'd have been able to handle thathospital more things by myself. I composed
this to you and you know, the family and everything like that, and
you know your father's here wid rightnow, right and that's what I you
know, I feel better today becausethe last few days it's been really you
(09:31):
know, an emotional roller coaster. It's like one moment you laughing, the
next minute you're crying, you know, But I guess the piece that I
have is one. NBJ Live saidthis to me. He was like,
be grateful that God chose you,you know, to be over his care,
over the you know, the letterends of his life. Like God
(09:52):
chose you. You could have choseanyone. And so I'm grateful that twenty
nineteen I came home and I wasable to spend them last two years you
know, with him or whatever. So I'll hold onto those memories, yea.
But yeah, so it's it's beenrough, y'all. So I know
we have we've been missing an accessa whole month on y'all for a whole
month. But we're back on theair and everything is getting back to where
(10:16):
we need to be and get thethings, you know, together, and
we got some some pretty good guessescoming on tonight as well. Yes we
do. And he gonna knock meout if I say his name wrong.
Eanan Peeriment and Candice with so evenand I we actually performed together at the
(10:37):
in Atlanta. He actually invited me, like because he's in he's one of
the members of the Atlanta Music EnercyGroup, and so he invited me to
come out that night. To theGlowbar and perform, and I was like,
okay, you know, because Iwas I had just got into Atlanta,
so I was kind of like choosingkind of different spots from members of
(10:58):
the group to go out and promoteand support or whatever. And I really
had a good time. I hada great time. And he is a
phenomenal performer. He don't play nogangs, baby. And then the second
hour, we had Candice Woodson ina freaking Yeah. The queen is sophisticated
souls and will be in the houseshe got from the last time we checked.
(11:20):
I think she got new remixers outthere. And the song has on
a charge right now on the Hotone hundred and eighty five. I think
it's fibably gonna dropped down a littlebit more. Oh wow, yeah,
oh yeah, we get chance totalk to her. Yeah, but before
we get to the guests, becauseyou know, Ean Pyramid is our first
guest of the hour. But beforewe get to Lan who got tired?
(11:43):
Kevin McCarthy. You fired Kevin McCarthy, the house speaker. Yeah. It's
the first time of any time inhistory of this country that a house speaker
was voted out. So it's probablynot huge news as of yet, but
it's because I guess it just happenedtoday. But he was taking too long
(12:05):
a lunch breaks or something like whatyou doing brouh you know what he was
doing up there and getting that gavelAnd see they got when the other lady
done, uh don't resigned because theywent after her husband. Wow? Remember
that? Oh oh yeah? SeeI didn't forgot her name to you.
(12:26):
Maybe forget Nancy Yeah, Nancy Pelosi. Yeah, that was my girl.
She's back down though. You knowwhat I'm saying Trump, She's a trumpling.
I like, come on with it. Brother. Back to the one
that got fired late. He musthave called in late, call in,
call off, call sick. Heused all of the sick points like,
(12:46):
oh, I know what it was. He probably only had seven points.
He used the last oh man threehundred and fifty years bro, I know
right, Well that's what happened withthat though. You know, so we
already know everything is going crazy outhere. Well we're gonna bring on our
(13:07):
first Oh yeah, let's get toit. Environments in the house with did
I did I pronounce it right?Did I say emon? Did I pronounce
it right? You are spot on? Can y'all hit me? Yes?
Yes, okay, great, youare right up, You're a spot on.
You guys started to show off.Y'all got me stitches here. I'm
trying to keep from about I can't. I am so super shocked and soaked
(13:33):
and related and all of them thingsto be on here. Just want to
take you, of course, condolencesRember. Last time you were on,
I lost my father to COVID,and I just want to encourage you.
I know the pain of that, losing the loved one, and especially a
mother or father. It hit different, you know what I mean. So
I just want to encourage you tohang on there, and remember we absorb
(13:56):
our ancestors energy and we are partof him, a fighty called Dana DNA.
We are carrying them with us,suf while you find yourself doing stuff,
say with black God, I soundlike my father. I found like
my mother. Well, we arecarrying the interests with ancestors energies with us.
They're always with us. And remember, I know he's looking down so
proud on you, just saying youknow that's my girl. You know what
(14:18):
I mean? So car carry theirenergy with you and keep it rolling,
keep it rolling? Hey, myman, how's it going? All right?
Good? I really really appreciate thatbecause I was going through it and
then I was going, like, you know it. It was horrible because
(14:41):
I was in Atlanta and I gotthe call that he passed away on my
way to Columbus. So you canimagine what that car run, you know.
So Mike, your father, likemy father says, I get it.
I get it one hundred percent. And it took everything to get to
that show, uh, that day, and I just felt his strength with
(15:05):
me towards the end, and youknow, it's like a burden was drifted.
He's like, you know, no, you keep going fun. I
got you, you know what Imean? And from then on, of
course, I wrote the whole albumtalk about you wait at the time he
was performance with you over there, right, you know what when we was
(15:26):
at the Globear or was it anothertime? All right? Right? We
did an interview a while back whenI was working before we start working on
this new album, and uh,I think we had twenty rocks out then
and now we have a double C. Yes, yeah, that was the
(15:48):
one. I wasn't going to dothat album, but you know, my
pops past. You know, Ijust I felt inspired. It was so
crazy because we were at the studioI'm at now because we are actually go
in the session tonight to work onthe new gospel album, my first one
in seven years. So I'll beworking eight songs we got. You ain't
(16:11):
no joking on stage either. Letme just say, I'm gonna take you
down the yellow Brick Road like wedo everybody. But before I do that,
right before I take you down toyellow Brick rolls, you can tell
us about how it started, whereyou start, all the kind of stuff.
I gotta say this so we youknow, we had the artists come
up there, you know, atthe globbar right and everybody's doing their little
(16:33):
thing. But when Edith got onthat stage, he set he set the
tone for the rest of the name. He got up there and I say,
you got have gone with your fast. That was an awesome and amazing
performance, and you really energize theroom. I feel like, you know,
(16:55):
see a lot of artists don't understandit's more to being an artist than
just releasing a song. You know, when you get up there and perform,
you gotta perform like you're performing forthe wars. You gotta perform.
You gotta keep the the audience engage. If that you can have the bomb's
mouth. If you spend in oneplace and you know what I'm saying,
and you're not engaging the crowd, they're not getting the whole energy of the
(17:18):
song, right yeah, right, even did that, you did that during
that Rappers, you got to domore than entertain your boys. You got
to go and pick up pick upthe dude girl on the fire too.
Might have to everybody in the room, right right, So we take all
(17:40):
of our guests down the Yellow BigRoad because we like to get to know
who they are beyond the music. So if you could please take us down,
you know, the Yellow Big Roadwith Dorsey. You don't got to
go back to pampers and breastfeeding andbottles and stuff like that, but you
can go as far back as youneed to go to get let us know
who you are. Got you well, for those who don't know who I
(18:00):
am, you probably heard by music. The first record when I first got
signed, Sony, the first recordthat I wrote, was actually skilled to
this day, one of the secondlargest records in all the world besides Michael
Jackson's thriller and it was called whatis Love? Techno tune my artist called
Hadaway. I'm fifty one now.I wrote that when I was twenty one.
(18:22):
Do the math, so I ain'tknow. It's been in the business
for a long time. So yeah, so that that was my start,
you know. After that, ofcourse, I've performed with numerous people in
my bio, from Prince to workingat the American Music Awards, me and
(18:45):
Quincy Jones, and working in anumber of productions and doing session work.
Is back on the vocalists I've workedfor R Kelly. I've worked for a
whole bunch of different artists back inthe nineties and the eighties coming up,
and and I en so needed topursue R and B because that was talking
about my dad and my dad wasa blues musician rest of soul, and
(19:07):
my mom's a gospel singer. SoI have kind of the best of both
worlds. My my mother always saidthat you're going to be somewhere in the
middle. You know your mamast andMama's gone and your dad is a devil,
so you're gonna So I call mymix up R and B soul inspirational.
So I've got something for everybody. When you go with the twenty rock
(19:30):
album, it's about making it througha pandemic to be when I lost my
dad. I lost him right inthe beginning of the pandemic while I was
writing that record, and you know, it was just you needed something to
get through. I think we stillneed something to get by, and every
song on the album has something todo with something that happened during the pandemic
(19:52):
that we could relate to, uhkind of thing. And the trilogy was
really supposed to be the new albumwhen that we're working off for next year,
called I Am in Imperiment, butwe had to put that aside because
it just made sense when we gotPurple Love to single and we started writing
a whole new album and that turnedinto a nineteen song double CD straight through.
(20:12):
Like we went, like I havea teen here, big ups to
American Fishie Studios, which I'm atnow. My office is back in Atlanta
in the middle of American Fishi Studios. And I've seen Chavalier Coleman a bunch
of young producers. Actually I startedwith him at Berkeley College's Music together and
(20:33):
we just kind of worked stayed inconnection. Once you get a chemistry,
it's like being married, you know, like you never want to lose that
chemistry when you fire your voice andfind your writing car And that's kind of
what we did. And thus that'sWe also have a documentary called Love,
Life and Spirituality that's on YouTube thatactually explains my entire journey, and we're
(20:55):
working on scripting for that for amovie. So when we wanted this trilogy
is gonna be like what's love gottado with it? And so it explains
who the artist is, who theperson is, and kind of everything that
I went through on this whole collectivejourney, uh, you know, going
out of the music business, comingback in and you know, being the
CEO of my label, and thenworking with other artists, and then you
(21:18):
know, of course coming back totry to save R and B. You
know, I really do that cloningR and B. And I watched video
for the twenty rock I've seen alittle quip of it, was well,
I was like sitting there like thatfeeling of that music is really missing right
now. People think that it's somethingthat's like, uh, it's not,
(21:41):
it's over, Like you know, they don't do that no more, but
a lot of artists doing to Beyonestly, it made music with that funk based,
you know type of stuff like theup tempo music, and it's you
know, it's popular, and it'sa lot of other artists of mainstream that
is doing it too. They're puttingit in their repertoire because it's missing,
you know, it's missing that that'smissing out there. Because we did like
(22:03):
the riverboat riverboat Man, and wesaid, who who grabbed slightly and love
overboard, showing me that a fleaman jumped in to save the day.
Like I'm okay. I couldn't standit, man. I was doing something
(22:25):
totally different. I was a medicaltener director. Uh, because I do
have quite a bit of degrees.I have five degrees to pads. Is
kind of what I did with mymoney because I I didn't want to be
a singer. You know. Youknow how tigned You said, how many
degrees? Five including two PhDs Kentsayn and Capella University and Hotter the administration
(22:48):
and some of the bachelor's in nursingand associate Yeah in a massive degree in
administration and then my last doctorate isin hospital administration. You know, oh,
playing with a beast's degree and no, I all of that because I
(23:10):
saw the pandemic coming and I waslike, ain't nowhere in the world I'm
gonna still be in this medical feature. So I twitted. I jumped shipped
right before the pandemic hitt and startedmy own record label. And I've been
going full throttle every since, doingthis full time. It's like that team
that says, uh, if youdo what you love, You'll never work
a day in your life. AndI promise you it has been that for
me. You know, I've hadnothing but joy from this. I love
(23:33):
getting up in the morning when Iwant to and coming in and doing nothing
but music. You know, youasked me to come to your studio.
I'm definitely still gonna have to checkthat outdo located again like worth it still
coming. It's We're in American SushiStudios, uh, located in the heart
(23:56):
of Riverdale, Georgia, right outsideof the Birds of Atlanta, rightside College
Park and you know, right rightbefore you get to rick Ross House down
there and come on down and seeus. We're open twenty four seven right
from here now, so you know, so we're music full time. We
(24:18):
have a beautiful studio. It's realincognito. We have a wonderful Lake on
the side. And then big upto the owner of Jamie Lake, who
also is a noted producer, GrammyWardman and producer and is all right.
And his dream was to come hereto in Atlanta from Minnesota working at Painsey
Park Studio to start something where artistscan have the industry quality but at an
(24:42):
affordable price. And so that's beenour life mission is to make sure that
people that really have the talent, that's what we're selective about who we let
in the studio. If you reallyhave a vision, you really want to
get your stuff done correctly and spenda whole lot of money trying to do
it, but you do want thatquality. Uh, this is an exact
place that you need to be recordingat. It's not We're not playing on
(25:04):
you. Let's I'm gonna I'm gonnabe working on some more music soon when
I get back to Landing at somepoint once I get past this, I
can't make me right now. Butbecause you're so talented and people need to
(25:29):
know who you are, you bringback that so so soul field music down.
You had me up there, Boocket, I appreciate that if you,
(25:51):
because I'm like him, like youcan't just have people sitting around looking falling
sleep and stuff like they want tosee because people will see you before me.
They want to see you. Theywant to because they come first of
all, they see somebody doing somethingthat some people want to do or they
don't know how to do, youknow what I mean. So when you
want to stay performing doing them,we're actually doing a representation and something that
they would like to do. That'slike for a lot of artists, Like
(26:14):
you know, as an artist,I'm not I can record, but I
normally don't perform as much. Butwhen I perform, I know I got
to be able to come with theperformance compared to like I mean, just
here's a video or here's the song. So you know, yeah, I
definitely get it. So and that'swhat, like I said, it's missing
right now and that performance. That'swhy that Taylor Swift thing is sold six
(26:37):
million right now because you get awhole performance six meams that was pre seals
Taller Swift. She's doing a tourand then she's doing a movie and already
pre sell six million dollars. Thishappened today and Beyonce he's trying to follow
the same thing because they're both killingit right now by these performances doing it
and when you know, does nothave that much. You know, back
(26:59):
in the day, it was hardfor female artists to get those big deals
like that. I'm so super proudof those women who are you know doing
that in today's industry, and uh, yeah, it's still changing, it's
still difficult in my opinion. It'sjust it's, you know, the challenge
I feel like I'm facing in mylife. If I were to say there
(27:22):
was a challenge, is that forone, I'm independent and two I'm an
older artist. You know what I'msaying, I'm not. I'm a little
sadly with it with the fresh breastimplants and the big booty, like you
know, I got a little andI'll be waddling around, but I still
do my thing because I just likeI performed for whoever is and then and
(27:44):
as an audience for all of that. Yeah, I get y'all an independent
artist that we're making much more moneythan artists really fitting in the industry at
the shock right now because they weren'tready for that. And now it's the
people again decide what they like andwhat they don't like. And I'm so
(28:06):
very happy about that because you canjust take it straight to them. If
they love you, they love you, and if they don't like you,
You're not gonna tell you know.You know, I know that I don't.
My best thing is when I'm doingperformances. I feel like I feel
like I, you know, Ican sell my music you know, cities
(28:26):
and USBs and stuff easier when I'mperforming if I actually, you know,
have a table or whatever. Ireally think that a lot of these and
let me and tell me what youthink, Enan, I really feel like
a lot of these UH venues needto offer these vendor tables to these artists.
They don't hardly offer them, nota lot of them, you know,
(28:48):
or they make it. They makeit do for a price set up,
you know, like, you know, make money. I don't think
you're taking it from before I getsick, I'm like, come on now,
but I totally agree. But twentyfour, hopefully that's going to be
a change, a game changer inAtlanta for us because we're going to come
(29:11):
with the Culture Pure festival that thestudent is going to put up present and
uh, we're going to eliminate thatvendor feed kind of thing and it's going
to be all independent artists, spokenwords, art, live art. Uh.
So you know we're working on it, presenting that master and then that's
going to be here in Riverdale justto promote, to see or promote what
we're doing here artistically, and uh, it'll be something different from Atlanta.
(29:34):
And I'm just trying to change theculture, you know what I'm saying,
because there's so many up and comingartists and a lot of artists don't have
that, like you're said that beingcharged for their setout table and their merch
that's how you survive, you knowwhat I'm saying, Especially if you're doing
it full time. You need recordtells. You still need to sell your
merch and if you're paying out beforeyou can set up, come on,
(29:56):
you know, so hopefully you'll helpto, you know, kind of change
the culture, be the first pioneerto that. You know. Yeah,
do you you feel that nowwulday thatartists it's like it kind of changed up
with the signing to record labels comparedto being an independent since you've been on
(30:18):
the majors and al school doing independentyourself. What do you see to some
of the differences or what you know, what are some of the similarities.
Like last year, we were chosento go to Collision for our innovation because
we were the only small record labelthat still was able to grow only digitally.
(30:40):
Uh. We started doing artists developmentfirst because a lot of guys,
you know, they can't afford togo to Berkeley College of Music or f
AE or some of the the colleges. So we present artists development UH in
the music group, just right outthe cuff, and then we supervised you
all the way through the process untilyou complete with an album. And we
(31:00):
do it relatively cheaply. You know. We only charge the artist one hundred
and fifty for computation, and thenwe take you through the things you're selected
through. The whole top entire processis the independent artists. And that's the
difference between what major neighbors. Ikeep telling people they knocking majors. You
need a major when you're already selling, you know, And I would suggest
(31:22):
that you do the partnership agreement withthe major after you sold your first million,
because if you sold the million, you're worth five you know, and
so forth and so on. Youknow, then you have a partner versus
really an ava theory that because theyyou know, the days of them giving
you enormous advance if you hadn't goneviral and all that, it's out the
window if nobody's doing that anymore, because it's a waste of money, because
(31:45):
they're finding a lot of artists haven'tbeen through artists development, so you know,
they don't know the first thing aboutyou know, pr We saw what
happened to the baby, you know, with with with opening his mouth and
doing some stuff. And you know, everybody buys, so you can't isolate
a you know, a group ofyour market that's buying your records. You
(32:06):
know what I mean. You know, you have to be neutral when you're
selling records. We're going back toTaylor Swift. That's why she's so successful
is because she is in tune withher fans. Like she's still surprising fans
and comes to their houses and bringgifts. Who does that, right,
But she's got she was a behigh before there was a be high because
(32:29):
she, you know, from thebeginning of her career, always did that,
always was in touch with her fansand everybody feels like they're a part
of tell Swift and that's her mantrafor selling records. And as an independent
artist, you two can do that. But you can't come in the game
thinking, oh, I'm a bigstar, like those days are over.
You gotta work. You got toput in the work. And that is
(32:50):
greeting your fans. Anybody you goto a club, if you're doing an
open mic, you need to makesure everybody in there has your social media
handle, you know, regardless hereyou got products out, Hey, can
you like my father, follow meon my social media or on my Apple
Music whatever to get them, youknow, selling records because they don't they
don't buy the record, but everytime you play it, you're gonna get
(33:13):
paid. So you want them listeningto your music all the time. Put
me on your playlist, that kindof thing. You're in the rotation of
theirs people. So you gotta work, you know. And I you had
to do instorees and remember tie records, Yeah, you know, you had
to do that or you're dead inthe water. It's the same thing,
but it's just digly. It's easierbecause you can do it on your phone,
(33:36):
your your iPhone, whatever. Youknow what I mean, you know,
go on social media. Hey,please follow me on Instagram, Twitter
and Facebook. Hey, my affluencedoctor Ian Perramid on IG. Make sure
and then you be engaged. Istarted with forty people and I'm an old,
old school cat, right. Istarted with forty people on my IG.
Today I have two hundred and fiftythousand on my I saw every last
(33:59):
one on my show. If Iyou know, one tweet or whatever I
gotta do to say, hey,I'm checking with you. Please, you
know, stay in with me.You still got product out, you know,
that's what keeps us going. Butyou get it. It's you know,
I do it full time and Idon't get no sleep. But hey,
I don't writing harder, right,that's just I love this. I
(34:22):
don't. It's not a hobby forme. I love what I do and
it shows. And when you listento my music you're gonna get my heart,
my soul and my mind in that. Let's play. Let's let's go
ahead and play one of your songs. So we have, uh, the
first one we have is in theMeantime, So tell us you know,
(34:43):
uh, what made you? Didyou write in the meantime and Okay,
so what made you if you didn'tknow? Uh huh them, get big
up to uh Dwayne Wiggins and TonyTony Tony who allowed us to rewrite that
song. So whatever you want isthe original we wrote in the meantime.
And it's the hardest thing I hadto do as an artist because I don't
(35:06):
you know, I've never had thiscopy't like taking Thriller and making a whole
new song out of it. Itwas very difficult to to inter use his
inspiration to and make another interpretation basicallyas a writer. And big up to
Jamie Lake, who actually rewrote allof the music, played every note on
that in all Social VAYU Tom Colemanwho played both order in it. So
(35:28):
we made it sort of just Rogerand Zapp type revailp Upon and d Soul
and the videos out to starring uhour celebrity here Ms Jazz, who is
a think she's all love and hiphop a couple of times. But you
know, we brought her in toperform with us and we just had fun.
(35:49):
And yeah, we had fun.I directed and wrote that whole video,
so you know, I do awhole lot. It's all answer to
you because you didn't. I knowjust every name you didn't name, so
you commut ain't because in Atlanta, you in Atlanta, they're gonna be on
(36:10):
tour. They're gonna be on touragain. I'm so don't get it to
them right. We're gonna play thefirst one. In the mean time,
the means give you what you mean? Just turn up, Oh girl,
(36:42):
I'll be your fun buddy. Cancome and see me when you wanted.
Girls find everything, get your youknow, condy thinking, Danny juve esteeming
girl, just one of fee yourman friends think you Danny job this corner.
Man. I will be your manand dandy me wherever you were.
(37:07):
Oh, you want to be inthe be sectionality In the mean time time
I will give you to be inthe mean today, Sally, you need
(37:34):
with the hand in the air toride the Pioneer banks a little honey,
Danny, all your dealing girl, how many you fan Gail and your lawnedorl
along be your mantula verdi from thenext say time, I'm oh, the
(38:04):
power going to happen. That abelief you don't think I don't know a
(38:31):
thing about the meat I gave youthe same. Yeah, Oh, E
heard you ever, thank you, hide im and do all time there woman
(39:01):
coming to your house can stop allthat as a busy time we get at
(39:37):
you. I canna think that okayspeak, I'm you okay, I get
(40:10):
you Yeah, yeah, damn itmy memory I like that. I like
that song. Yeah, and fusthat having that memory of you know you
said that song with whatever you wantwith with Tony twenty twenty and that way
you sing over there A lot ofnice ones on there, so it sounds
good and we have another song forbreaking down, So tell us about breaking
(40:36):
down. Break the Dawn, Ohmy god, took us back to like
the Icy brother days and with atwist of Prince Rogers Nelson of course.
So I kind of brought those twoideas together, because what purple love is
a homage to UH Prince early daysof trying to infuse as R and B
(41:00):
soule all of these different UH concepts. He did like a like a canvas,
like a pain, and you wantedto get back into that type of
writing and bringing that type of UHcolor and huge back to music again.
And so Break of Dawn is oneof those stepsy type mid tempo R and
(41:21):
B songs that kind of you know, you can get you from hendy,
up from loudation and just you know, kill with or ride down the road
or you know, hold hands withthe girl and just like hold you know,
kind of all that kind of thing. Because what I'm trying to do
with Purple Love is teach people howto love again, you know what I
mean. Just like the meeting todaywe were talking about everything is like jump
(41:42):
right in the sack bootle Bank.Ain't no four playing, no bands,
no nothing, just Bank. Wemean that we need that. If anybody
knew what the red music is backin the day, the red light and
stuff, you are you doing goingdown in the red light red like don't
(42:05):
have no red lights. Everybody sweating, Nancy staking, you know, they
just you know, to the ops, they running from the opposit. The
red light can't be on when yourunning from the op, when you're running
from the opal. You remember thosedays when you could have their house party
and like nobody got shot. Everybodyhad a good time and you left and
(42:27):
and and peace, and may mayhave left with a girl of a guy
that like who ended up being yourwife. You didn't know it, you
know, you know the music madeyou the old Jays. All of that
made you want to fall in love. It made you want to seek relationships
if you will, you know, not relate son, but relationships. That's
(42:50):
a bad word. Baby being borndown like he needs to be because they
ain't got no red light music. You know what love is as y'all come
on, let's go back to love. Let's let's go back to well,
let's get into a purple moons.Loyalty, learn how to love each other.
Royalty you know your queen, kingsand queens, you know, learn
(43:13):
what royal love really is. Youknow what I mean? I want to
do. Do it? Get deeperall I'll do it. Know what it's
all about. Yeah, we're gonnalisten, listen, we don't play break
the down. And then when wecome back you can give us a little
bit of I can tell because Ifeel like you know, when you come
(43:38):
by show, you're gonna get We'regonna we're gonna come back and let you
do us a little be right back. Y'all want to move unscripted with em
and faking turn up. Hey brother, listen, let's be on my phone.
Man like you doing to do youlike gotta care like keeping your wall.
(44:07):
When you come home and your bodystill so gid. No all the
wall man, didn't get the enoughto make me feel good. Just wanna
be with you? Then you sogood, so good, well gonna be
(44:37):
with you and you just wanna bigdown, just won no me No all
the wall one that's a treasure likethe baby. Then when your home is
so close, but the I cantell you dot here feeling so good,
(45:10):
feeling sona be that you right tosay so don't big failing socerbota that you
and you made that you be youman, want to not agna be that
(45:49):
you and you making up to donothing in the world. I grabbed the
dune and with you so good,so good day the later day, younger,
your whole game you pay. Youdon't watch a day in the same.
(46:19):
Din't kill me in a day,Rob, you can't start ten into
just a walk. It's so joyto the break of song, the breaking
(47:00):
Oh right now, Hey, allright, go ahead and hit us with
it with Hey, we're just myfather list so good too good, that's
good. Yeah, Hey, Idon't know you're gonna get you come to
(47:37):
my concert. You're gonna get whatyou get. I do I have not
done a sexy love song like Ihave not. Like all my music,
it had been inspirational or hip hopor something, but I don't have any
sexy love songs. I think thatwas right there. I want to have
(47:59):
the wh you come to studio andwe're gonna hook you own up. I'm
definitely gonna have to stop buying shookyou got going on? So you you
had a recording studio, But doyou also produce beats too? We are
producers. We don't do beats becausethat for amateurs, I feel. And
(48:23):
we have full educated musicians who produceyour music for you. When we'll get
back to real musicians, y'all,y'all have made unemployed be But y'all could
come to me, come to AmericaSushi Studios. If you're a real musicians
trying to come on down and wegot you. This is a place for
(48:45):
musicians to grow and to build beautiful, beautiful, wonderful music for the world
to enjoy. I'm gonna I'm definitelygonna have I'm definitely gonna have to.
I want to come down visit toYeah, please do please a name trop
(49:07):
We don't have Bob Deling to sneakdown here. We don't have Selena to
come down here because it's a niceplace to record. It's the energy,
The atmosphere is geared towards creatives, you know, and this is the spot
where you want to really come tocreate. We're still remodeling. We're gonna
(49:30):
have a residency portion of it whereyou'll be able to come and you can
stay six seven months if you havea band and you know, sleep,
eating, record dollar that stuff here. So you know, we try to
make it. Uh we have foractive studios, so you know, so
we're trying to make it really conducivefor creatives to come down and and really
record some beautiful, beautiful music. So give us your social handles or how
(49:54):
can they get intested for you ifthey want to book some time, Like,
give us your information. You're instakbookyou know all that. So if
you're in Atlanta, if you're notin Atlanta, you're planning gonna come down
here, go to American Sushi Studiosand just type in and you can also
book online through American Sushi Studios,uh that way, or you can come
(50:16):
you know, look me up onmy social media's doctor Ianan Perryman that's E
N I N field the number ninebacklets you will forget x Enan Perryman at
I G and it's on all therest of the platforms and either one of
those records. Purple Love is thename of the nineteen song new CD that
we have out uh twenty rocks LoveLife Spirituality YouTube. We have a documentary
(50:39):
and a movie coming out. Youcan get the precursor for that now.
Just type in E N I NAin't nobody got my name. I promise
you you won't go wrong. EatN I N and Perry Man. So
put that on in and you canget all that this music you just heard
in from I'm telling you we're gonnatake you back to old school new school.
I got something everybody. We gotafro beat on that joint like you
(51:00):
and you till you have visited thatalbum, you have not visited a album
beyond say I'm on your heel girl. Just so for the ones that that
who didn't who didn't graduate, canyou sell slowly? I'm slowly? Can
you slowly spell the website? AmericanAmericans like like do you have to say
(51:23):
some American American? And the sushilike the fish Studios and dot com and
you should be able to Uh.So remember American sushi, like you could
go so Sushi for breakfast, whichis another platform that he has, and
then studios or just go to doctorPereman send me a d M whatever you
(51:45):
know I and I respond that veryquickly and I will get you there.
Uh, definitely, because we advertiseeach other on our pains and get big
ups. I must say this tomy sponsors www dot trapwater dot com.
Uh black owned Boling company right hereso Mountain, Georgia. I am their
brand ambassador. Uh. Probably oneof the only independent artists coming into the
(52:06):
game with the whole bottling company behindme because we support each other. That
kind of thing. Trying to getback to that way of doing this.
Are you you know so you know, listen, listen Atlanta Slow. I'm
(52:27):
the industry that taught me to saystale. See I'm like Calip when he
came out, I got the keys, the keys key that bet awards.
He was like, I got thekeys. We were like, who is
this guy? He had the keys? And see where you at now?
Right? But are you frouing Chicago, Illinois originally on the side town bide
you know, great things come outof Sidetown now, Jennifer Hudson's willis you
(52:51):
know, I can name them all. You can some rapper you know,
and you know, it's just it'ssomething about Chicago that just bursts great music
and artists. Uh Cha Kakan whoI've worked for before. You know,
all of these uh you know, great artists have come out of Shottown,
collaborate with other artists and just reallyhad some beautiful moments and some beautiful music
(53:13):
to offer the world. And I'mjust you created that song Superwoman in Chicago.
I was living in Chicago when Imade Superwoman and Open Doors, Like
I was dealing with mister Hank, but he was still in Atlanta. I
was living in Chicago. Chicago iswhat brought out the music side of me.
I just continued to do it onceI got to win it. But
that was Shottown, yeah, onthe way up, Okay, yeah it
(53:38):
was. It was Chicago is whenI started dealing with the artists and dealing
with music, and really in AtlantaI was doing the movie, but in
Chicago it was the music, youknow. So definitely, yes, Superwoman
was really at Chicago based song, even though it was an Atlanta producer that
put it together. But it youknow, all the flavor and inner.
(54:00):
He came, yeah, oh yeah, he got the house. Let me
into it though, Yeah, yeah, yes, yes, the house.
Because you know, if you thesong that I meant to before by Hadaway,
what is Love is actually a house. It was written as a house
tune, I see, an Rand B song, and they changed it
to a house record, which Iwas on the writing staff with Logic Records
(54:22):
when we wrote it, and itwas about to go into trash because I
thought it was trash at that pointwhere I was it's a hit record.
I was like, I didn't know, you know, a hit record.
So when you have a team ofwriters, it's really good to kind of
listen to people that have the experience, you know what I mean coming in
especially as a staff writer. Anduh, you know, it was number
(54:42):
one eleven countries for him and thenstill to this day, yeah, like
around year yeah, uncle, youwrote that. I was like, every
time I do it, I quinnbecause I do it. I worked for
higher so I thought I was richafter forty thousand and still making millions off
the phone, so you know value. Let me leave that as a nugget
for you young artists that are comingup. Value what you do. Value
(55:05):
your art because you could be sittingon a million dollar record and not know
it. And if you don't valueit and you keep writing, you know,
especially with music, you keep writing, writing, writing, writing,
each one of those things connect tothem. There's your baby, you know
what I'm saying. You want tothrow a baby away, so you know,
don't throw your music away. Andknow that you know, one man's
trash may be another man's treasure. So value it, you know, and
(55:28):
value your art in that fashion becausedon't don't do what I did. That
is so true though a lot ofartists won't have a song, and they'll
love the song. Everybody loves asong, and before they can really it
can get momentum, they moved onto a new song. That is so
they don't even continue to promote theold song. That was really a good
(55:49):
song, right and remember your songsor not for you? There for other
people. We give this music, you know what I mean, and other
people receive, you know, theoffering, and it may be a life
changing record. Sometimes you you're resetthe soundtrack for people's lives literally, you
know, which is why I'm youknow, writing this new Doge album.
(56:10):
You know it about times, myfirst one in seven years, and I
got some phenomenal writer on this stuff, and it just was time for me
to do something to offer that endpart of this trilogy, and that is
hope, you know, uh God, it's the way you believe. This
is a time for us to reallyreach into ourselves and reach into a spiritual
(56:30):
place and get into a spiritual placewhere we can actually grow and we can
heal from what we've just been through, you know, once in a hime,
right, y'all need some hope andlove. Come on, get it
going now, come on, comeon now, right man. I thank
you guys so much for this platform, and thank you guys for just helping
(56:52):
me let the world know that we'vegot something different now out there to offer.
And I appreciate every single blogger, every single radio per out, every
single show that we're on. Ijust want y'all to know that I love
you. Took death and we appreciateyou, regardless how big. It's gonna
just gonna be my energy. SoI love you. I love you.
(57:14):
Let me tell you from from themoment that I saw you on stage you
know, and I really watched howelectricfying, like literally literally electrify you were.
I loved your energy, you know. I'm so happy that we got
a chance to actually meet in personalLike you said, we had talked some
time back and and it and wehad you know, it took us some
(57:37):
time to get back around to eachother. But I'm so glad that you
were able to watch my energy andI was able to watch your energy,
and that we were you know, kindred spirits about this mug right here,
and we need that, like Isaid, Like you said, we just
came through a really rough period pandemic, you know, and Trump trying to
come back because they ain't taken themto court till June. So we need
(58:01):
love. Ope, y'all better staywoke. Not the time to sleep,
daddy, folks. How y'all makinga mantra out of making bad Well,
I don't want to be sleep.I'm sorry, y'all have to make that
a bad word. I'm a threewoke right, Yeah, So tell tell

on three? Its too now?On the folksal media, I follow everybody.
I love you guys, and myuh mantra, my my music is
about love. It's about l ov E loving each other, teaching for
how to love again, how tobe in love again, and how to
embrace positivity. Everybody's you know, always negative for some reason. It's like,
(59:07):
you know what I'm saying, like, Wow, come on, let's
break this. You know, weget to love each other and appreciate each
other and have that positive energy back, because that's what R and B Soul
really is about. It's about lovingeach other through the hard times and bad
times. I've know he cheated allyou know what, I fill love him.
She cheated on me, but shealright with me. Thank you for
(59:30):
being a part of the Latin MusicIndustry Group and for all that contribution to
sharing your talent and everything with uslike we appreciate this. Yeah, it's
an honor. It's an honor tobe amongst other uh music and musicians and
uh and just that that beautiful platform. I think, uh you for having

(01:16:15):
oh h what I shipped that wason on move good the moment right there.
(01:16:48):
Yeah, Unfortunately Cannice wasn't couldn't comeon it it with us tonight for
an emergency that happened with a familyand hope everything is like us born with
her thing. But we'll see ifwe get a chance to talk to her
again. Yeah. That his nameis Enan, which is nine spelled backwards.
(01:17:10):
When I didn't hear him throw thatin there. Oh okay, yeah,
so you can remember his name EnanPerryman. You can you can hear
the high energy that he had,and you can hear the music that he
has, and yeah, I wantto see him before. But I did
see that twenty As I was tellingyou about that twenty rock video, I
was seeing like I was like,oh, check it out. You know,
I really thought that they were doingsomething that was like sort of like,
(01:17:34):
I'll be honest about it. Ithought it was a parody. And
begin I'm looking at them and say, oh, oh he's this is the
real deal. He had that wholefunk thing going on. The music is
dope. It's like you said,it's real musicianship, which we really need
when to hear people who could playmusic and artists and producers need to get
back to that about learning how toplay music. You know, he's making
(01:17:54):
beats. I do the beat thingmyself, but I also know how to
play drums and a few chords, you know what I mean. So it's
you know, you should learn howto play some kind of instrument if you
are a producer. Yeah, Ilove that sing got the whole band and
then you know, I kind ofliked the whole live band thing. I
did, you know when I wentto La and I and Lady Christa was
(01:18:16):
on the piano, you know whatI'm and I was just singing and we
were freestyle, and I like, you know, she had written the last
song, you know, but thesong that I sang was a freestyle,
and me coming in on her song, you know, was a freestyle.
And I just I love the energyof just flowing with the music, you
know, with the beat, withthe melody or whatever. So being able
(01:18:41):
to sing with a live band wouldbe nice and interesting. I like to
see how that comes out. I'llmake some baby making music. Yeah,
I'm getting the drum. I'm actuallyabout to get these tabletops coming real soon
too, so I could start playingaround with that because I missed playing like,
you know, like real instruments andstuff too. So yeah, I
want to get back to that. And producers out there, man, I
(01:19:02):
am in looking in the world ofI'm hearing some new production, some new
music for the twenty twenty four season. You know, I know we're still
in twenty twenty three, but it'sa lot of thing that's going on with
the TV shows that we're working withlooking for stink licensing for artists. We're
also looking for production for a coupleof TV shows and films for a lot
of independent filmmakers that are coming outin twenty twenty four. I just got
(01:19:26):
a call from one of my colleaguesout there in New York City, Wendy
Goldsmith. She has the thing that'scoming up for a cruise that's coming up
in twenty twenty four. Big.It's a big deal with that going on
as well. And it's a couple, like I said, a couple of
TV shows with already the Boss isdoing some things. It's a couple of
modeling companies that are looking for newmodels for a brand new tequila brand that's
(01:19:54):
coming out. It's more you know, it's a cognact and it's another tequila
the same his name got a saying, And I'm going to have commercials coming
up here real soon on over hereon on the Movies Group and the Scheme
Beat Radio Music Review, you willhear those out there. And so a
lot of things coming up for thetwenty twenty four season. But we have
contests coming up right now as wellto some of us. Let you guys
(01:20:15):
know, about that as well. You can definitely hit us up and hit
