Yo, wish your boy DJ ninetyand I'm here to let y'all know it's
going down. September twenty fifth, between seven and eleven p m. At
the Studio House, Atlanta. Yes, hook Up, Atlanta is back.

(02:53):
Mister Hanky would be in the building. What's called on? This is Patricia
am Goings with On the Move UnscriptedLadies Roundtable Discussions, and you know,
we bring it to you raw, unfiltered, uncut and uncensored every Thursday.

(03:14):
This is your boy, bad Boy, Billy Flat. Whether I'm just chilling
in the studio or kissing the leadinglead or out on the street promoting our
new CD knny Gee Waller Bay.No matter how you played, I'm down
with Patricia and mister Stout On theMove Unscripted. Bab okay. So I
started off real unscripted. Look,I couldn't take the right commercial to save

(03:38):
my life. What's going on?You have tuned into another episode of On
the Move Unscripted with Patricia m Goings. I was having flashbacks. I was
going back to the twenty twenty onewhen we had the look at Atlanta over
there Studio House Atlanta, you know, and that of course was um my

(03:59):
boy uh from eleven hundred am.And then I slipped on down there to
the Ladies round Table discussion. Iwas trying to find the right commercial.
It's unscripted, y'all listen here.That's why I do what I do,
and I don't trip and I don'task. Uh no, apologies for being

(04:19):
unscripted. You get it raw realand that's how it is. What's going
on to stout? Save me?Like? Where is the answer? Them
book saying to help me? Thatday's weekend? I know this week like

(04:43):
it's like you know, I kickedit off. I started off on Sunday
right uncause I went to skate Zoneseventy one for the I call it the
pre Mothers Day Skate adult skate becausethey was turning out in Columbus. Oh
my gosh, yes I have. And actually you can go to my YouTube
page, um miss Goings eleven nineteenyou can see the videos that I took.

(05:05):
So this is deal. This isa story on how I captured this
flicte. Can I get this story? Okay, let me take it down
memory lane? Right. So I'mskating, Okay, I'll tell everybody I'm
not a just skater. I've toskate for thirty years and still know how
to skate. We understand this, right. So I'm on here trying to
keep from falling because that's what Ido. As long as I can keep

(05:26):
from falling, I feel like I'mskating. Everybody else is doing all con
tricks and flips and stuff, andme, my whole goal is to stay
up on the skates. So I'mskating, you thought, all these people
who are beautiful skaters, and oneof them just basically trip trip slipped me
yes, and I end up falling. So I got us, you know,

(05:48):
I breast my pride off, andI went to the inner circle because
the way the Skatestar has that theyhave an inner circle and then they have
a skating right, So I goon there and slide my little stuff on
over there Insterdam because I figured, but you too old to be falling out
here amongst all these who you knowpeople whatever. So I'm sitting there just

(06:09):
kind of like, well, youknow, look at my wounds. And
then they started skating, like everybodywas right in front of me. It
seemed like yeah, And they startedskating in a circle and just jamming,
and I had to pull out myphone because you know, that's what I
do, right, And so Iput out my phone and I'm like I
got the best seat in the freakingbuild it because they were just jamming.
It was packed, Like skating hasreally picked up yeah, I think it

(06:34):
has. Yeah, I see peopleare out there videos, You see people
out there doing right now and everything. So yeah, it's out there and
people don't even know I was already. So if you talk to a real
skater, a real skater stake skatingain't never went nowhere, right, But
if you call talk to people likeme who dip in and out of skating,

(06:56):
you know, we were like, wow, it's really picked up.
But I remember when I did thesong Superwoman, the first music video when
I lived in Chicago, they wasnot promoting skating music videos like they are
now or skating rinks the way theyare now. So it's just really awesome
to watch the different skaters, youknow, and um, yeah I was
pretty lazy, just trendy right now. Okay, that's what's happening, you

(07:19):
know. So some of these thingsback in the day people come back and
do m I don't remember when peoplewere skating with the one you put on
your shoes and it's like the metalshoes and you're from the old school.
I don't know, I want that. I'm tiring up to get your show
if your shoe and needs to hearthem like, oh, that's way bad.
That's way bad. I don't eventhink they do. The ones who

(07:41):
still had those kind of skates aretrue skaters because they kept escaped all these
years. My my fault when Ifailed it broke my my my back skates.
No, I no longer have workingskates. I gotta figure out either
get them fixed or I'm gonna haveto give me a whole Brandy fair.

(08:03):
Hello. Fun. So I justwalked in. Were on live? So
um yeah, so that was fun, but it was like to me,
I was trying to kick off Mother'sDay week, right, also a nurse
and teacher appreciation day, right,Yeah, appreciate you guys, thank you
for that thirty years. I havebeen a nurse for thirty years, thirty

(08:26):
three zero. I was a youngchick when I first became a nurse,
and I've been in this field along time. So we appreciate all the
people who have been sitting out loveand our jobs that are given us gifts
and stuff, you know, teachersand and um, nurses. You know,
our job is important. I don'tthink the world would run the way

(08:48):
it does without it job. Yeah, so sin yeah, So the whole
point of today's show really was toUm still yeah, what let know what's
going on for tomorrow next? Isthat I don't know, this is like

(09:16):
one of those things, so isit really on the scripted right now?
But we're still county, so Idon't know. Alright, So we're just
gonna keep on growing and keep ontalking because we're not gonna be on here
along today. The whole goal wasto um get on here and let everyone

(09:37):
know about um, you know, celebrating mothers and um, the Mother's Day
pre event on Thursday, right,Um, that we're doing here in Columbus,
Ohio. It's gonna be at theUM the North Bank Park Pavilion,
downtown. Beautiful, beautiful, andit's gonna beautiful outsight tomorrow like ady degrees

(09:58):
or something. Sense, So I'mexcited. Um yeah, it's the links
on my Facebook. You can goto Patricia m Goings on my Facebook face
to see it. Um yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm just compopulated today
because I started off unscripted. Theblog talk is acting unscripted, and it's

(10:22):
just just feeling real unscripted. Sosay so, tell us your finest moments
or memory of your mom. Say, you know, um, there's a
lot of them, but um,I guess, uh Mother's Day, holidays
like you know that kind of stuff, the funnest memories like getting together,

(10:45):
like the preparation for the holidays. When my mother would do something for Mother's
Day. She had uh three othersisters so you know, plus my grandmother,
so they all will get together anddo something. You know, it'd
be a whole day or a wholeweekend of that. You know. Okay,

(11:07):
you know, so uh yeah, they would, um, you know,
make a whole weekend of it,a whole day they go do something
with my my aunts and my mygrandmother and then like they'll do something like
breakfast and then we'll hook up thingsfor dinner and stuff like that for the
weekend. So it was, itwas it was always pretty cool with that,
you know Mother's Day. Um,I couldn't remember they did something,

(11:30):
you know, growing up on NewJersey Shore, they would have like uh
like a parade type of thing, like a walk on the boardwalk or something.
It was like something things you coulddo for a Mother's Day, you
know, and it was always dope, you know. So yeah, and
all the years you know, downthe road and stuff. This is like
a lot of you know a lotof great memories that we got for the

(11:54):
Mother's Day or my sisters and stufflike that, you know, so it's
pretty cool. Right now, thisis an uniment right now, I don't
hear myself. So for me,I guess it's been just my grandmother raised

(12:16):
me, right, I grew upwith my grandmother and just my memory to
her, you know, and whatshe did for me and my mother.
You know, when I when Igot to me my mother, I think
I was like, um, tennineteen something like that, and just you
know, bonding with my mother andjust being with my grandmother, it was

(12:39):
just an awesome experience. And Idon't know, I'm just having an unscripted
moment, y'all. I just well, I mean Mother's Day is it's I
want to give a shout to allthe moms up there, to all of
the step mothers, uh, youknow, even though the grandmothers, the

(13:01):
aunts, all of them who hadsome sisters, you know, who has
something to do with the help ofhelping other mother's acause that's what the whole
thing is about, right, It'sabout the daughters helping their mothers, right
or Mother's Day, And then itbecame a national thing and national thing you
know, I've been talking to UMsome different mothers and some some of the

(13:26):
relationships between mothers and daughters have beenstrained throughout the years, you know.
And so even remember doctor Bessie, she did the Mothers and Daughters organizations,
UM, and I think that Mother'sDay is a great time to bond with
your children. UM. If youhave had a bad relationship with your daughter
or your children or whatever, thisis a prime time to try to mend

(13:50):
that, you know, Um,Tomorrow is not promised to anybody, So
love your love your family today.Even if growing up things wasn't the best
or whatever. We all, everybody, just about everybody has some kind of
you know, story about a hardlife or whatever. But the point is

(14:11):
without your mother, you wouldn't behere, you know what I'm saying,
right, no matter what that journeywas like. So if your mom is
still living, I would encourage youto reach out to her, you know,
and let her know that it's spotof everything you love her and try
to mend. Like, how longdo you be mad at you your siblings,
you know, or at your motheror your parents or whatever. How

(14:31):
long do you continue to be lockedin the prison of your past? You
know about things that happened like moveforward. That person is still here,
so you know, love them, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
yeah, yeah, Um, I'veseen a lot you know those things happened
like you know over the weekend, you know, it was out black in

(14:52):
Georgy and had to go to afuneral for a family member. And I've
seen my like my aunts were likeone, what's going like looking at my
other honists if like she didn't wantto be around her, And I'm thinking
to myself, like, you know, these these are the times you guys
supposed to be really like you know, getting even closer, you know what
I mean when you get to thispoint, especially when it goes to uh

(15:16):
louding a loved one. So it'sjust like, you know, you can't
hold those kind of grudges against forsomebody, regards whatever. It's not for
life, because it's just it justit tears out a part of you.
You're taking away a part of yourown life by sitting there being upset with
somebody else, you know, letit go and then getting that part of
your life back right right. Ihear a lot of stories of broken,

(15:41):
uh, broken people, you know, broken daughters, broken mins, broken
sons like um holding on to thepainful paths or painful childhood or whatever.
But you gotta understand, nobody comesinto this life with the boot blueprint on
how to be the best parent. We're all on this journey, right and

(16:03):
we're all learning as for every daythat we wake up and we move forward,
we'd learning how to be a betterversion of ourselves. And sometimes that
journey of learning is alone. Andwhen you're a parent and you have children,
unfortunately, the children are on thatjourney too. So whatever the mother's
going through, whatever the father isgoing through, whatever they're trying to learn,

(16:25):
trying to find their way through life, the kids unfortunately have to go
through that, you know what I'msaying. And so I apologized for on
the behalf of all mothers who havechildren that are still angry with them.
But listen, let go of thatpain and move forward, you know,
like embrace. I embraced my father, you know, I embraced my mother.

(16:45):
You know, I missed my grandmother, you know, because my grandmother
was an important person in my lifeand she basically took me in when you
know, when I was a child, and she raised me until you know,
I ended up meeting my funny outwho my real mother was, and
just loving her and just seeing youknow, making up for lost time.

(17:07):
Like no matter how long it's beenthat she's been a strength or not been
around your mom or whatever, youknow, for every day that she wake
up and you still alive, butshe's still a love, you still got
a chance to mend that, youknow. Yeah, I hear a lot
of people talk about they feel likethey're the black sheep of the family.
And you know a lot of motherswho are broken because of their childhood.

(17:30):
But you gotta say it's a generationalthing. But if you talk to a
broken mother, I promise you yougo to speak to her mom or her
dad. There was something broken aboutthem, and then they in turn or
broken because it's something that their theirparents. Did you know, something happened
with your grandparents, which is whyyour parents is broken. And then that
that goes on, especially in anAfrican American community, because look at all

(17:52):
the hardships that happened have happened foreach decade. You know, So I
say forgive. You know, Italked to a patient about that today,
Like forgive. You know, youare in a prison of your own making
when you refuse to beginve. Butyou got the key to open that door.
That kids called forgiveness, the kidscalled faith to keep, the kids

(18:15):
called peace, you know, thekids call love, moving forward, let
me go up yesterday. Those arethe keys. And when you ow use
those keys to bring you out ofyour own the prison of your own making,
you'll see a whole new world. You'll build a new relationship. You
understand things about yourself, you knowwhen when you built that bond with your
mom, like, oh, that'swhy I act like that, or that's

(18:37):
why it is that, you know, like move forward in life and love
who you love, you know, love your family, love your loved ones.
That's what it's all about. WithMother's said, you know, it's
all about that weekend and go outand have a good time too, because
this is what it's going to bebeautiful this weekend. You know, it
says gonna be a little bit ofrain if you're coming on where you live
at over the weekend. But Iknow one thing, Wrong's gonna be great

(19:00):
tomorrow. God is so good thaton Friday and everything and this is such
a blessed. This is a bigstep of faith for me, you know,
um, just really praying and askGod like what is it that you
want me to do? And beingblessed with that grant from you know,
the greatest clumics arts counsel and thenjust saying like, what what do you

(19:21):
want me to do? And thisis what God put in my spirit?
And at first I'm like, Lord, are you serious? You want me
get that place? But then likeI was, really, it's been a
it's been a faith move. Eachmove has been a faith moved in a
struggle move, like is this whatyou want me to do? God?
Like I've been really really praying aboutit, so I'm looking forward to it

(19:41):
and things have been happening. Thenlet me know, Yeah, this is
God's will. Like my daughter beingable to come when she she had to
work and now she's never come, you know, just being the weather when
we looked two weeks ago, itwas talking about raining tomorrow, but now
the weather is going to be beautiful. Me having the day off, but
they schedule me to work all aroundthis day, you know. So it's

(20:02):
just like I just have received differentconfirmations to know that this guys will.
So I'm excited. Um we haveUM there's been some who could not make
it who donated tickets. So we'vebeen reaching out to different like um cancer
awareness organizations and domestic violence organizations, and we're like, listen, we got

(20:23):
two tickets that I want to giveaway to someone who is a survivor of
cancer or who is battling cancer. You know, the ticket will include the
dinner admission and also get for thesame thing for domestic violence. You know
the domestic violence organization out there thatyou have someone who has you know that

(20:44):
you would like to bless them withthis opportunity. Reach out to us.
You know, you can come out. You can give us a call or
or you know on the move showat hotma dot com. You know everyone
for two at home dot com.Reach out to me on Facebook, you
know, just however you want tosend me the message, right yeah,
yeah, and be a part ofCelebrity Chef is gonna be the building,

(21:08):
a few artists is gonna be performing, or I know that you can performing
yourself um as well, Right soI'm really um yeah, and it's gonna
be Yes, DJ wise, wegot so for all of you who are
promptlum Or within the Franklin County area, and you ever went to Eastland Mall
before it closed down. Um,Designer Kitchen was one of the restaurants that

(21:30):
was in Eastland Mall. So um, the owner of that that restaurant is
his name is design Designer Chef. He's a celebrity chef. He slides around,
you know, to different places andhas catering events or whatever. He's
gonna be catering. And we chasedhis food because it came to my Relia
party. And then DJ Wise isa popular DJ out here in Columbic,

(21:52):
Ohio, and he also dj umthe album released Party, So let's coming
back, um, and we havesome artists here out of Columbus, Ohio,
you know. And so yeah,we're excited. And I mean you're
gonna be performing one way, Likewe just want to bless mothers and and
and and women who have overcome alot. Father's Day's coming. We'll get

(22:17):
to y'all. So this is notgonna be a long show, y'all,
because yeah, I'm feeling a realunscripted day. But I just I just
wanted to um just I just wantto give thanks to God for um me
allowing me to uh spend time withmy grandmother before she passed. You know,

(22:41):
I'm having my mother still in mylife, you know, um,
just and the women who have raisedme, because a lot of people may
not be you may not have beenraised by your mother, but you got
people in your life. My auntswas like my sisters, like my family,
like you know what I'm saying.Like they raised me to be the
independent woman that I am, andI thank them for that. You know,
so even if by some chance yourmother's not here, but there were

(23:03):
other women who stepped in and didthat thing, like show them love,
like there's something special for them, you know, right. Yeah, I
was the song that mom used tosay, So I'm gonna pick that song.
I'm gonna have something for this weekendfor the time. Yeah, Mom
to say, don't you rest? You know I remember that song. Yeah

(23:26):
yeah, So we just wanted toget on here tonight real quick. Yeah
uh, and just say show loveto your mom, do something special for
her. You got the whole week, and I know, through only sixty
five days, we should be weshould be showing our mother's love or whatever.
But when they carved out a specialday, you know, or a
special week, then why what's thepoint And not doing that, Like why

(23:49):
not? Why not let her knowI appreciate you for the nights you sacrifice,
for the nine months you carry me, you know what I'm saying for
after stay awake in the middle ofthe night while's baby, for all this
stuff you've put you through, andyou know, elementary and high school and
all that kind of stuff. Liketake that time, you know, because
a lot of people whose mothers arestill living you still depending on you know,

(24:10):
you still call you myama needs melt, I'm in trouble or whatever.
So um, take the time toshow your mother that you love it.
There's something special for this event isan easy way to do it, you
know, bringing her out to aspecial event and and she walking away with
a Mother's Sake gift as long asyou register. You have to register in

(24:30):
order to get the free mothers stakehere, so let me know how many
gifts and frames. But yeah,so you can go to event the event
rights and you can look up Mayelevens and you can find our events.
There's the uh it's Patricia m Going'sMother's Day Dinner and Music Gala. That's
what I call it, right,And the link is actually posted in this

(24:52):
in this blog talk radio link andalso you know I heart radio UM YouTube
free through dot com. Yeah,we're in fact, one of the best
scripted is found just about anywhere thatyou listen that you listen to podcasts,
and so it should be the linkshould be listed in wherever you listen asinitely.

(25:15):
Oh God, so, um,any special words you want to say
or anything you want to say.Oh, I want to thank Courtney Um
Courtney Young for donating a ticket. And also someone from my job, Connie,

(25:36):
she donated a ticket. So Ijust want to thank them for you
know, investing in my dream andmy vision for honoring mothers even though you
weren't able to make it personally, you know, I appreciate them for um,
for blessing someone, you know.So I definitely, I mean,
I'm sorry someone to get a ticketto you. But I definitely wanted to
first reach out to the organizations becauseI was once in a domestic one shelter,

(26:00):
so I understand. You know,I've been a nurse for thirty years.
I've dealt with cancer patients and stuff. I understand, and so I
just wouldn't want to make at leasttwo women feel special. Yeah, that's
awesome, man. I think comeout guys and check out the link.
It's in this uh podcast right yearsyou to check it out, you know,
and you know, can't get theticket to stuff. We will be

(26:21):
there in the building life. Ithink I am gonna like, I think
it'll be self. I can alsodo a little bit of broadcasting, so
we can get a few things goingon with that too. So yeah,
guys, come on out for thisgun and you know get it. You
know, it's it's all the Thursday, but it's still my late night type
of thing. It's still kind ofearly with it from seven to nine,
from seven to nine, yeah, seven to ninety yeah, So it's it's

(26:44):
gonna be night in the food. It's like a buffet style um uh you
know, set up and then ofcourse the DJ is gonna be dancing doing
our thing or whatever. And ifanybody's ever come to any of my events,
you know, we have fun umand then we're gonna be performed and
all that kind of stuff. Likewe just want to make the mothers feel
special. You know, that wasmy thing. I could have done anything

(27:07):
with this grant, but I justwas like, well Mother's Day is coming,
let's do something for Mother's Day,you know, let's appreciation, that's
what it is. Yeah, away of giving back to mother. So,
like I said, this is gonnabe a short show today. I'm
not even gonna stay on a wholehour U. But yes, come on

(27:27):
out May eleven evening. Yes,if you want to call in, you
got like five seconds to do it. Five want to see three seven one
se four seven. But yeah,I'm exhausted at y'all today because I've worked
at twelve hours shift um at atreatment center and it was a very emotional

(27:51):
day and so I'm emotionally exhausted. So I don't even know what else to
say except for or celebrate your mother. And it's heartbreaking to mean when I
when I deal with the different motherswho are you know, receiving treatment,
I'm proud of them, Like alwaystell them, I'm so proud of you
because you took those steps, rightyou. You you recognize that you have

(28:12):
an issue, and you took thesteps to start at least trying to solve
it or trying to you know, get past editions so that you can rebuild
your family. Because a lot ofpeople's families have been broken by drugs.
And different stuff like that, Likethe fitting off thing is real, opioid
thing is real. You know, alcohol alcoholism thing is real, and it's

(28:33):
broken up a lot of families. And then they got more stuff, like
they send us a flyer. Somenew drugs is out there on the streets.
That's hurting people. You know, they're mixing all kinds of different stuff
and stuff. So it's just likeit's getting real, Like you're like,
this is a in all honesty, they talk about the pandemic, you know
of the covid and all the kindof stuff, but this, this um,
this opioid and fitting off thing isan epidemic virus. So this is

(28:56):
a pandemic itself. I mean,it's these treatments centers are popping up everywhere
because patients are popping up everywhere.People are truly addicted, like you know,
people are popping pills like left andright, like it's getting out.
It has gotten out of control. It has gotten out of control. Yes,
it's gotten out of control. Andso it's just so sad when you

(29:18):
see some of them come in andyou see a picture of what they look
like before that drugs ever touched theirlife, you know, or you listen
to people who talk about they've losttheir children like it, or you know,
grandchildren, you're raising their grandchildren becausethe mother can't or the father can't,
or it's just really sad. ButI have so much respect for the
ones who finally said, you knowwhat, I have a problem. I

(29:41):
have an issue, and I'm goingto take steps to solve it. And
my first step is the treatment center. You know, there's nothing shameful about
entering and treatment center. Actually, like I said, that's a brave move.
That shows you got courage and youunderstand the first point to healing is
to recognize that you got an issue. You gotta recognize the first for you

(30:02):
can make steps to change it.So I have mad respect to them.
So if you got a mother ora father or something that's in a treatment
center or this dealing with addictions andthey're trying to change, support them,
you know, encourage them, youknow, be there for them because they
need that. You know, mostpeople deal with some kind of addiction in
their life, you know something,So people eat too much, some people

(30:26):
can't stop doing point though. Somepeople got you know, gambling addictions.
There's so many different additions. Seriously, Yeah, yet you got something.
They look at one somebody got caughton them on the plane. Um oh
I aint gonna go there plane actuallydoing some crazy right, So you got
