Yeah yeah, yeah yeah, risk at. We gave you homework
and you just fell. You're supposed to have some sort
of random ass ad little whenever you're here. That was
a sign to you. I'm Tony and you're listening to
funny Local Global. You could have just said that's all
(01:52):
you had to do, That's all you had to do.
You had homework, you chose not to listen. Uh. If
this is your first time tuned in, go ahead, hit
that like a subscribe button so you're always in the
know when we go. And I don't even know what
to say about today, man, it's we're gonna learn a
(02:14):
lot today about ourselves, about our past, about our futures.
And one of the emails we got, I was like, oh,
shits starting to hit hit close the home a little bit,
But uh, I think we're not. We're gonna be talking
about as a why you ain't standing on business? We
got what happened in my space? We got what type
(02:36):
of friend are you?
Speaker 3 (02:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (02:38):
Heroes that let you down? Of course, like I said,
we got some emails and we might get to a
topic called I hope it lives up to the height.
But before we get to any of that, y'all know
what time it is, so let's get to it.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
And now it's time for things not good.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
This message is brought to you by over there.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
At Juneteenth. Juneteenth though man.
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Man they promoting him for the July since it's on
a Friday. Yes, I'm the barbecue and all that.
Speaker 3 (03:18):
I'm just letting you know that there ain't going. I'm
just being real with you.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
That is fact, because my man.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Ain't baby again.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
My man was love them to death and I don't
know how you do it. Brother, I don't know how
you do it.
Speaker 3 (03:32):
I ain't going if he's there.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Uh. First thing we're not gonna talk about. The Diddy
trial is still going on and the prosecution is said
to test their case today. Rest their case. Excuse me,
rest their case today. Diddy's team won't be calling any
witnesses nothing. We're not gonna talk about Israel and we're
supposed to cease fire. Then Israel decided to bomb them
(03:54):
or that, which definitely pissed Trump off. Brandy and Mana
another thing we're not gonna talk about. Brandy and Monica
are about to be on the road with the boys,
mine tour. Okay, so so bringing it back nothing. We're
not gonna talk about al Green, not the singer, but
the US representative is calling for the impeachment of Trump.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
He's already been impeached.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
He's calling for all. I was like, I'm like, what's
the point. Ain't nothing gonna happen. I don't eve know
why y'all keep nothing. Let him ride out these last
few years. He's Yeah, last thing we're not gonna talk about,
per see, And then is trending because apparently none of
our bombs hit the real targets and Iron still is
making moves underground.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
I still got the sights.
Speaker 7 (04:42):
Them.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Yes, yes, Uh. Everybody loves to talk tough about what
they would do until real life happens and they fold
like a lawn chair. My question to you, guys, a
lot of people talk tough about how they react in
the situation, but then they don't do anything. They don't
stay in own business.
Speaker 8 (05:00):
Because they haven't been in that situation for real. More
often than not, usually what it is.
Speaker 7 (05:05):
It's also easier to say something than it is to
actually do it.
Speaker 8 (05:08):
Yeah, you don't need true you don't know what you're
gonna do until it actually happens.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Like, give me an example, like what type of.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Like for instance, a girl says, if my dude ever
cheated on me, I'll never take him back, and then
she later yeah, something like that where she ain't standing
all business. Or we talk about the old man or
the young dude that says, man, this old man parking
my spot again, Yeah, I'm gonna get I'm gonna get
(05:38):
in his ass, and the old man parks in the
spot again and then he just looks. So you think
it's because.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
I don't know when you give those examples, I don't
know why people do ship.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Like that, because because it's like we we make like
this fantasy version of ourselves in our head. They say,
oh yeah, like we it's kind of like the Keyboard
Warriors and social media and say, oh I do. But
then when they see you ain't about that life. It's
it's a rare few that are really about that ship.
Speaker 8 (06:12):
There's only a very short list of things where I
know for sure, like if I say this shit, it's
gonna happen. Like I've seen people like videos somebody got
spin on they to do that. That's one thing where
I know for sure you do that ship to do somebody.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I don't care how.
Speaker 8 (06:27):
Big you are, I probably gonna get my ass for.
But I'm swinging on like that's something. I'm standing on
business on that one ten times out of ten, Like
it's not a whole bunch of stuff. Like if it's
like the example you gave, like somebody parking on my spot,
I might be like, mother fucking do that shit one
more time.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
I'm slashing them time. I really ain't gonna do that,
but I'm be annoyed.
Speaker 8 (06:44):
But it's like a small list of things where like
if I say it, I mean that shit, like I'm
not playing games with you, and I think.
Speaker 9 (06:50):
Too A lot of it is just talking shit, yeah,
I mean if it's like something trying to think of
like a.
Speaker 10 (06:56):
Super serious like like how people's just saying like very
few things that were I really truly stand.
Speaker 8 (07:04):
On business like you've got you know, like it's some
of them, like it's the principals. I can't let you,
I can't let you get with it. Yeah, I mean
you spit on me, that's yeah, game over.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
I mean.
Speaker 11 (07:14):
Pretty much you hit me too, Like I mean, I
guess really kind of depends on situation too.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
I mean, I don't know, but yeah, you spit on me,
you get hit well.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
I mean like.
Speaker 12 (07:27):
A certain thing about basketball, like if I'm like, if
we're playing basketball.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Like that like that ain't so. I mean, but I'm
thinking about what you said. I'm thinking about if somebody
like push you, I'm going nuts, like you got.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
At that points.
Speaker 8 (07:44):
Oh yeah, But little sh like like the example, this
person cheated on me or whatever, like don't get me wrong,
like if it's something extremely from with somebody pregnant, ain't
that's some shitty I'm out like yeah, cook me like
I'm gone.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
But it's some things. But like every dude's done this,
I don't care what they say. That key and peel
skit is so recent.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
I said it.
Speaker 8 (08:09):
Like it's times where i'd be like, man, she's been
said she's I'm gonna give me her ass, But really
that ship happens.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
I'm just like they don't go the exact way I
thought it would. I still put. I still still my ground.
Speaker 8 (08:19):
I ain't go off like it's kind of like that.
It's like I'll stand on business, but I might not
have went zero to one hundred.
Speaker 7 (08:27):
Like I thought I was saying. If a girl called
you a bit.
Speaker 8 (08:30):
Is that you're saying like you don't remember the key
and peel skit where they were talking about how they
would deal with the girl.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
She let it a different you know, so a lot
of you know who can't peel off. No, that's what
I'm talking about.
Speaker 3 (08:43):
No, it was like it'd be like the feelers talk.
It'd be like it's.
Speaker 7 (08:46):
Basically like Jacob and what's the other one's name? Edward?
Speaker 12 (08:51):
Right, Like they were talking to each other right, and
you know, they're talking about the girl, what's what's the
girl's name? And you know, back and forth, you know,
trying to be quiet because you know you're very well
if we call you a bit, you're gonna go off, right, So,
you know.
Speaker 8 (09:05):
Say amongst each other, they're saying, like, man, I told her,
like because they're trying to make sure that girl ain't
with an earshot. Because when we're talking to each other
making it seem we make it it seem like we
just went out. And I said, bitch, you can get
your shit together, like we make it seem like we
really And I told her, bitch, if you don't get
your act right, you can get the fun on someone.
But really we was like, man, you tripping out like
(09:31):
we might say you was kind of acting a little
bit ignorant out there. We didn't say all that this ship,
but of.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Course a month we gotta say that.
Speaker 8 (09:38):
I told her, man, better get some mac r if
I break my foot off in your ass, bitch, noing, damn,
I ain't say that. So I might I might say,
like if she came to me like that, I'm gonna
go off, But really I handled it a different way.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
That might be my fake standing on business situation like that,
that might.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
Be mine because I think a lot of times people overestimate,
like the boundaries, like we think that we have it's
boundary that's here, but really and truly, because like we
talked about getting hit to a certain point, like your
your real boundary might be out here. So when something happens,
you're like, oh, okay, well that didn't that didn't actually
reach what I thought I was gonna reach, And so
it's like, oh it's not. Or again, it could be
(10:20):
that fear of I wasn't prepared for this. I've seen
it in the movies. In my mind, I practiced these
lines one hundred times. Now when it's time to do it,
it was Derek so something like that. So risk with you.
Do you have a situation like that where you thought
(10:41):
you were gonna stand on business and some shit popped
off and then you were like, okay, I'm not.
Speaker 7 (10:47):
Nothing I can think of now.
Speaker 8 (10:49):
I remember there was this old commercial. It was like
probably mid too early mid two thousand. It was like
literally a witch flying around on something bro and this
dude's like, man, I'm gonna stand up to where the other.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
God was like, man, know you're nice? Yeah right, Like, yeah,
that's happened to me before, You're Yeah.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
I don't think i've ever like said I was going
to do something that didn't do it ever, not like that.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
I mean, they don't got to be like in a
strange thing. But it could have just been like, I
don't know, you, some boy you were talking to, done
with him and then bam, or like one of your
friends she was talking about you behind your back. You said, oh,
when I see her, I'm a and then you just
let it go.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
She said no, no, it stand on business. And she
said I stand on business.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
That's what I do. And it makes me think about
how we are in a world where there was a
lot of damn pretenders in this world, a whole lot
of pretenders. And the thing is, because so many people
are pretenders. It's always fun to me how we'll laugh
(12:05):
at somebody whenever they don't stay at all business knowing
good and well if we want to stood all business
either on that. So why is that?
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Depending on what it is?
Speaker 13 (12:12):
Yeah, but why is it because they go public with
that a lot of people will go out and go
out of their way to make public comments about what
they're gonna do, so we expect them to follow through
with it. They'll be scary now I'm probably in public,
they weren't scary a minute ago.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
No, mine is. I like reading comments everything I'll watch.
I love reading comments.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
So when I see, like, for example, two people scrapping,
I strayed to the comments people talk. I just know
if it can't fight, I'm just looking at them. I
look at their page. I'm like, I know you can't either.
I'm I know you did, so I'm like, if you
was in that situation, you would either folded or you
would have done worse than them. So I'm just like,
I don't know, but I don't know. I like, like
(12:57):
she said, people put all this shit out there, so
it's like you made the whole world. See, so now
you put the pressure on yourself. You gotta standing on business.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
Now do you think people do it more for just
the attention and validation of or do you think they really,
in their minds think that they possibly.
Speaker 7 (13:11):
Yeah, they know they're not about to do nothing, because
because that just.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Made me think about, holy back, why do you need
someone to hold you back if you want to?
Speaker 8 (13:22):
And usually it'll be their girl who's like way smaller
than them. I'm like, bro, if you really wanted to
get to him, you'd be like.
Speaker 13 (13:29):
Yeah, I'll never forget the time that my kid's dad
starting a whole bunch of mess talking all this ship,
was talking big and bad, and then.
Speaker 14 (13:41):
He told me, He's like, can you walk down with
me so that way he doesn't hit me?
Speaker 3 (13:44):
Oh yeah, he did not say that. He said, who
was he talking about?
Speaker 7 (13:50):
Another guy that I was talking?
Speaker 14 (13:51):
Well, the guy that I used to talk to, go ahead,
I wasn't with him, my dad, but he.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
With him.
Speaker 14 (14:02):
But the guy, I think, the guy that was staying
with me at the time.
Speaker 13 (14:06):
He didn't like him already, and so he was like,
I'm not gonna fight him up here because I'm not
going to mess up stuff in the apartment. Tell him
to come in me downstairs, and he was like, but
he was talking all the ship when they were both up.
Speaker 14 (14:18):
There, and then he's like, can you just walk down
to tell him I don't want no beef?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
I was like, no, no, so you know, I gotta
be a little messy and asked why was.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
He up there?
Speaker 13 (14:32):
I'm trying to remember. That was like right after we split,
so he was bringing me Valentine.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
The snow show time is the place to be and
I'm glad you.
Speaker 8 (14:46):
Hear because you family sick man getting relaxed and enjoyed
the show.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
No place, no topic, then they won't go.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
They tell the truth, Lacewood appends. If he dreams or
the thought, then it's something They.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
Can make you laugh, make it cry. Have you looking
at your friends like tell me why how could he?
Speaker 1 (15:04):
What did she did?
Speaker 3 (15:05):
They say that the MG I can't replease play that back.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Put the kids to bad because it might get.
Speaker 3 (15:10):
Ronchven't like to welcome y'all to our private part. I
think it's safe to say these amigo tight. The speedos
got them yelling. Okay.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I told the world. They have messed up.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
Now we have took the cap off. Ain't a hold of.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Day, Sit back, relxes time and start show.
Speaker 3 (15:28):
There's no time and that they.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
Won't there to go sit back relxus time I start
this show, you know.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
And show time that means it's go time.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Showtime.
Speaker 12 (15:44):
It's the place to be.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Showtime. It's the place to be, Eddie B. Show Time
is the place to beat. Show Time is the place
to be.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
A C.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
Show Time is the place to be.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
Show Time is the place to beat all three.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
Showtime it's the place to be. Yeah, yeah, yeh yeh.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
Risk And we gave you homework and you just fel

Speaker 1 (21:51):
I mean.
Speaker 11 (21:52):
Pretty much you hit me too, like I mean, I
guess really kind of depend on situation too. I mean,
I don't know, but yeah, you George, do you get
hit what I mean, like.
Speaker 12 (22:05):
I start thinking about basketball like if I'm like, if
we're playing basketball like that, like.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I mean that ain't so I mean, but I'm thinking
about what you said.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
I'm thinking about if somebody like pushed you, like I'm
going I'm going nuts like you got at that point.
Stuff feels oh yeah.
Speaker 8 (22:23):
But little ship like like the example, this person cheating
on me or whatever, like don't get me wrong, like
if it's something extremely from with somebody pregnant, it ain't
that's some ship. I'm out like you to cook me
like I'm gone. But it's some things, but like every
dude's done this, I don't care what they say that
key and peel skin is so recent.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
I said it.
Speaker 8 (22:47):
Like it's times where I'll be like, man, she's been
said she I'm gonna give me her ass. But really
that ship happens, I'm just like, it don't go the
exact way I thought it would. I still put I
still steal my ground. I ain't go off like it's
kind of like that. It's like I'll stand on business,
but I might not have went zero to one hundred.
Speaker 7 (23:05):
Like I thought I was saying.
Speaker 8 (23:06):
If a girl called it a bit, is that you're saying,
like you don't remember the King Peel skit where they
were talking about how they would deal with the girl.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
She let it a different you know, so a lot
of you know who can't peel off. No, that's what
we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Wow. No, it was like it would be like the
Feller's talk.
Speaker 7 (23:23):
It'd be like it's basically like Jacob and what's the
other one's name?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Edward?
Speaker 12 (23:29):
Right, Like they were talking to each other, right, and
you know they're talking about the girl.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
What's the girl's name?
Speaker 9 (23:37):
And you know they're talking back and forth.
Speaker 12 (23:39):
You know, try to be quiet because you know you're
very well if we call you a bit you're gonna
go off, right, So you know, they.
Speaker 8 (23:43):
Say that amongst each other. They're saying like, man, I
told her like because they're trying to make sure that
girl ain't with an earshot. Because when we're talking to
each other making it see, we made it seem like
we just went out and I said, Peach, you can
get your shit together, like we make it seem like
we really And I told her, bitch, if you don't
get your act right, you can get the funk on someone.
But really we was like, man, you tripping out like
(24:09):
we might say you was kind of acting a little
bit ignorant out there. We didn't say all that this ship,
but of.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Course a month we gotta say that. I told her, man, better.
Speaker 8 (24:17):
Get some mac r if I break my foot off
in your ass, bitch, noing, damn, we ain't say that.
So I might I might say, like, if she came
to me like that, I'm gonna go off, But really
I handled it a different way.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
That might be my fake standing on business situation like
that that might.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Be mine, because I think a lot of times too
people overestimate, like the boundaries, like we think that we
have a boundary that's here, but really and truly, because
like we talked about getting hit to a certain point,
like your your real boundary might be out here. So
something happens, you're like, oh, okay, well that didn't that
didn't actually reach what I thought I was gonna reach,
and so it's like, oh it's not or again, it
(24:58):
could be that fear of I wasn't prepared for this.
I've seen it in the movies. In my mind. I
practiced these lines one hundred times now when it's time
to do it. It was Derek making the beds or
something like that. So risky with you, do you have
a situation like that where you thought you were gonna
(25:19):
stand on business and some shit popped off and then
you were like, okay, I'm not nothing I.
Speaker 7 (25:25):
Can think of now.
Speaker 8 (25:27):
I remember there was this old commercial. It was like
probably mid too early mid two thousand. It was like
literally a witch flying around on something bro and this
dude's like, man, I'm gonna stand up tour think.
Speaker 3 (25:38):
I was like, no, you're nice, and yeah, right, like yeah,
that's happened to me before, You're Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 7 (25:48):
Think I've ever like said I was gonna do something
then didn't do it ever.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
Not like that.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
I mean, they don't got to be like in a stream.
But it could have just been like, I don't know,
oh you some boy you were talking to, done with
him and then damn or like one of your friends
she was talking about you behind your back. You said, oh,
when I see her, I'm a and then you just
let it go.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
She said, no, no, don't stand on business. And she said,
I stand on business.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
That's what I do. And it makes me think about
how we are in a world where there's a lot
of damn pretenders in this world, a whole lot of pretenders.
And the thing is, because so many people are pretenders,
(26:41):
it's always fun to me how we'll laugh at somebody
whenever they don't stand on business, knowing good and well
that we want to stood on business either on that.
So why is that?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
You know what it is? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:52):
But why is it?
Speaker 13 (26:53):
Because they go public with that a lot of people
will go out and go out of their way to
make public comments about what they're gonna do, so we
expect them to follow through with it. They'll be scary.
Now I'm probably in public. You weren't scary a minute ago.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
No, mine is.
Speaker 8 (27:11):
I like reading comments everything I'll watch comments. So when
I see, like, for example, two people scrapping, I go
straight to the comments.
Speaker 1 (27:21):
People I just know if.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I'm just looking at them, I look at the page.
I'm like, I know you can't either.
Speaker 8 (27:26):
I'm I know you did, so I'm like, if you
was in that situation, you would either folded or you
would have.
Speaker 3 (27:31):
Done worse than them. So I'm just like, I don't know,
but I don't know.
Speaker 8 (27:34):
I like, like she said, people put all this ship
out there, so it's like you live the whole world. See,
so now you put the pressure on yourself. You gotta
stand on business.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Now do you think people do it more for just
the attention and validation of it? Do you think they really,
in their minds think that they possibly?
Speaker 6 (27:49):
Definitely, Yeah, they know.
Speaker 7 (27:50):
They're not about to say nothing, you know, because because
that just.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
Made me think about holy back, why you need someone
to hold you back if you want.
Speaker 8 (28:00):
And usually it'll be their girl who's like way smaller
than them. I'm like, b if you really wanted to
get to him.
Speaker 7 (28:07):
Yeah, I'll never forget the time that my kid's dad.
Speaker 13 (28:13):
Starting a whole bunch of mess talking all this ship
was talking big and bad and.
Speaker 14 (28:19):
Then he told me. He's like, can you walk down
with me so that way he doesn't hit me?
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Oh yeah, he did not say he said that.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Who was he talking about?
Speaker 14 (28:28):
Another guy that I was talking well, the guy that
I used to talk to, but.
Speaker 7 (28:32):
I wasn't with him my dad, but he with him.
Speaker 14 (28:40):
But the guy, I think, the guy that was staying
with me.
Speaker 13 (28:43):
At the time, he didn't like him already, and so
he was like, I'm not going to fight him up
here because I'm not going to mess up stuff in
the apartment.
Speaker 14 (28:51):
Tell him to come with me downstairs. And he was like,
but he was talking all the ship when they were
both up there, and then he's like, can you just
walk down to tell him I don't want to beef.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
I was like no, no, So you know, I gotta
I gotta be a little messy. I asked, why was
he up there?
Speaker 13 (29:10):
I'm trying to remember. That was like right after we split,
so he was bringing me Valentine
Speaker 8 (30:01):
Assass
