#389: Miami Week 1 Preview vs Notre Dame - Shohei Mateer

We have officially abandoned the Chapters under the individual head coaches and welcome the fan base to Episode 389 of the Orange Bowl Boys! Roman wore an offensive shirt out in public today which brings about a funny conversation about offensive things we see out in the world. And with the Canes officially in pads we head on down to Greentree, where we jump into the CBS prediction that Miami will lose in Week 1 to Notre Dame. Plus it was a nice moment for Al Golden to get his Broyles Award delivered to the Bengals facility this week. 

The debate also breaks into Carson Beck's confidence going into Week 1 versus what Notre Dame will be rolling out under center against the Canes. Scoop also makes it a point to bring up Shannon Dawson's praise for the receiver room and how confident he is in their ability to run anything he throws at them. Toast also wants to know how the guys would feel if Luke Nickel didn't win the QB3 spot and what that would mean for the quarterback room beyond Carson Beck. 

Plus we touch on the 2025 "impatient index" and how Miami fans have basically been on that list for about 20 years, and the nonsense about other Florida schools getting aggravated that Miami took the award as the best college football program in the state.
