We have to open this week's show by addressing the Notre Dame fan base coming for the OBB's this week and how hostile the fan base got over our critique of their program going into the Week 1 showdown. And as we recap the back-and-forths this week, our old friend IP Daley joins the show to drop bombs on the Irish faithful after an eventful week online.
Plus we go through the 2025 Miami Hurricanes schedule and do the win-loss predictions, and everyone is all over the place. Toast has us at 11-1 with a season ending loss to Pitt... both Roman and Jenners have the Canes going 10-2 with Ro predicting losses to Louisville and VA Tech and Jenners calling SMU and VA Tech... and Scoop lands at a disappointing 8-4, with losses to Louisville, SMU, Syracuse and VA Tech.
Josh Pate also had some great perspective on how the Miami secondary's evolution this season could hold the keys to the ACC this year, which spins us into a debate about how that translates to Miami's week 1 matchup against Notre Dame. And as the Auburn claiming National Championships conversation comes about, we wonder if there are any titles out there for Miami to grab. We also touch on Michigan's SOFT penalties for the cheating scandal and the nonsense about expanding the Playoff to a 28 team field.
Believe it or not we have our first week of Pick 'Ems for Week 0 - regardless of how obscure the games are - and it's the FINAL week of Five Questions until the season concludes. Roman rolls them out this week including what you think when you pee, your favorite music video, who'd you swap your parents for, what sense you'd like to improve, what hobbies attract the biggest assholes, and the most memorable question from this year's season of Five Seasons.
