Speaker 1 (00:02):
Bethany Mantelo here, Welcome to our Millwell fan show with
some new voices but the same focus. Just everything Millwell enjoy.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Welcome to the twenty twenty four to twenty five series
of Millwall. No one likes us talkings our Millwall fansier.
I'm your host name and barklay with me. I have
the team and that no one likes us talking team
of Debbie Judians, Steve Warren and Tered Robinson.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Not everybody likes them, but they don't care.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Well. After watching a Karama step up for Tanganga without
any downside in the game and Ivanovitch getting both goals
in our win at Saturday, we all look set for
a trip in midweek to Sheffield. Outside of the pitch,
Pompey Manager of this week, mister Messino, was outraged by

(00:58):
the stadium staff officials failure to address the use of
discriminate natory language. Tuesday came and it was three wins
out of four as we defeated the Blades at Brammel Lane.
So those are the big things. But what next, Steve,
what does you make of the postmatch for you about

(01:19):
Ivanovich by Alex neil Well.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
I mean he was right. I think he's come on
a bundle, he's stepped straight in. He's scoring for me.
I think he scored the goal of the season with
that header on the ground. I think that, you know,
that just shows that he's wouldn't do anything to get
the ball in the back of the net. If we
can keep him, he'll certainly be there amongst some of
our big goal scorers going forward. Definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, I think you're right. And I remember some other
player called Teddy sharing them doing the same at an
early age, and I think Ivanovitch could emulate ted not
Ted Robinson ted them over time. If we're going to
hold onto him, he's better than me, Aimen blonde me. Anyhow,

(02:04):
good evening, Ted, Evening and nights in the City of Steel.
What did you think about their armor and our win?

Speaker 5 (02:13):
I thought that was probably on par with our best
performance of the year the other night because vill United,
they was trying to bounce back their own they're desperate
for the points and there they are a good side.
But we stuck at him for some reason. We seem
to be right up for it from the work go,
and we matched them, and that was what impressed me

(02:36):
more than anything. We matched them. If anything, we had
the more clear cut chances in the game. Listen standing
performances on the night, Coban, it looks what I thought
Covin could be. Im and Ivanovitch seemed to be striking
up a pretty decent partnership. You could say the same
about Billy and Caspar in the middle of the park.

(02:58):
George Niman's come back for of running and don't stop.
Even young Kundall, I've got to give him a little
mention because he's not really a wide player, but he
went out there and done a job for the team.
And then we got Kramer moving back into the into
the back and forth alongside Jake, and Lenny's coming and

(03:18):
done what Lenny does you know. But all round, it
was a good performed good few says from Jensen, especially
the one that deflected off of Kramer that you know
he had to change his direction to say that. I
mean to me that all bodes well to be a
side like Sheffield United on their own patch in a

(03:41):
way that we did I thought was impressive and fantastic
win for us.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
So yeah, it was. It was a great result. Evening, Debbie,
how are you.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
Yeah, I'm good, Thank you yeah, it was a great result.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
It I'd like I have to hear your thoughts on
Portsmouth coach Messino's comments regarding the stadium staff and officials
not handling the use of discriminatory language, and I'll add
to that that of course, we also know that Millor
received a bit of a clanger where they've been charged

(04:21):
by the FA over words and language used at Crystal Palace.
So there's quite a lot in the pot. And I
know that you look at both sides of the fence,
not only the fans but also the players in this.
What do you think about all of this?

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Look under your
own umbrella or your own bench for that fact, and
create your own culture. I've been going to the den
since I was four. My own nan watched my dad play.
I can remember the great big docors handing down the

(05:02):
children to the front to watch the game. Who is
a family club and it's about inclusion not exclusion, and
it's everybody's game. The club has issued a statement. Use
the Club's dedicated here Hate don't hesitate reporting service by

(05:22):
texting hate that's h a T. And your message to
double six travel seven, or by emailing slo at Millwall
FC dot co dot uk. Use this service if you

(05:44):
hear anything that you find alarming and go forward to
vissage this. Please don't put up with anything that's home
and away. Use this service.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yes, I couldn't agree more. Debian. That's a way to
deal with that if they are hearing and feeling threatened
in any way whatsoever.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
And I'll just make a quick comment. It's certainly about
the palace chanting. Got no problem with the FA deciding
they didn't like what we were saying or what the
crowd was saying. But what I would say to the
FA is go round to the Premier League clubs. And
I know this for a fact that chant that they
was directing at Chure Well that we've got called about

(06:31):
goes on in the Premier League week in week out,
And I know one hundred percent for a fact it's
chanted at certain London clubs every time Tualwill goes there
and has been doing so ever since he played for Leicester.
The reason I say that is if we're find we're fined.
But what I can't stand is the fact that we

(06:54):
get fined and everybody else is ignored. If you're going
to set a standard if you want to be seen
to be doing what they class is the right thing.
With what they're doing by imposing this on Real Wall
Football Club, then I say to the FA year and
now I will take you round to football grounds and
you will hear that charm everywhere else. You make sure

(07:17):
you find them like you're finding.

Speaker 6 (07:19):
Absolutely absolutely, I can say I'd take grandchildren any day,
all the time to Middlewall, and I as a woman,
so please don't say any different.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I completely understand your perspective. Then I share your views. However,
it's important that the FA applies this standard's fairly across
the leagues for them to really address this issue instead
of being picky and picking out clubs like us. Mill
acknowledges that what's been pointed out and agrees that this

(07:51):
kind of language is unacceptable. Let's hope there's some resolution
beyond it just being Millwall. Thanks very much for that.
We take a break there and hear about our sponsor

Why not check out the Hondas and see what else
they have on site at your abe's end. Our first
guest is a well known former Lion who graced that

(10:23):
talented side of the nineteen seventies that nearly reached the
top Fly Southbourne. He arrived from Spurs in nineteen sixty seven.
He played two hundred and forty five times for US
and scored eighty seven goals. That's not bad rap. He
then left us for the team in Cellars. I think

(10:45):
they are for one hundred and eighteen thousand pounds, which
is currently about one point three million. I'm led to
believe in January nineteen seventy three. Despite that is memories
linger within the fan base to this day. Please join
me in welcoming the man that Brian King calls the

(11:06):
poss Hello, Derek Posse.

Speaker 9 (11:10):
Hello, Aimon, cheers.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, you're welcome.

Speaker 9 (11:19):
Rebby. I know so you know Steve and Daid Hello,
But Debbie, I know from way back.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Way back when well we'll hear a bit about that.
I think I do. Okay, Derek heavy back on the show.
They're a firm favorite of the panel tonight, and in particular,
as we mentioned Debbie Julians, I noticed that before heading
to Vancouver to follow your footballing career, you played for

(11:47):
another former Lion, Barry Bridges, of a doubling side called
Saint Patrick's Athletic. How did that come about?

Speaker 9 (11:56):
I got back from Vancouver all the winter, the phone
rings in his bridge only goes poss to fancy coming
out and fly you out every week play until you
go back to Vancouver. So that's what I've done.

Speaker 10 (12:11):
That was great.

Speaker 9 (12:13):
We had a great friendship and the good we played
really well combined together. So I went over there and
scored a few goals and he scored a few and
it was great fun.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
Yeah, and not too far from the Guinness brewery, I believe.

Speaker 9 (12:29):
Well, it was funny the first time I played. After
the game, went in the in the bar as always
all the Iris boys and I said I have a half.
They said, no, you're in Dublin. You get a point
of Guiness and sor I had to drink me pint
of guinness.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, and that's it and you never forget. That's brilliant mate.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
Cheers therek you steady. It was great to find out.
And I never noticed that you grew up in Subbok.
More about your experiences in Sabbok and now you develop
your football skills as a child and what led you
to join Spurs.

Speaker 9 (13:15):
We were just rying always remember my address number one
miles from road. We were just round the corner from
Manor Place.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
Bars.

Speaker 9 (13:23):
Well, we used to play in the streets, you know.
I used to Kirk play one two's off the curbs
and a couple of coats down and that was your goal.
From then on, you know, you just learned to play.
And then when we moved away to mrsdon in Surrey
when they built the new house in the States, dumped

(13:45):
us out of London and we were down on the
fields playing soccer all the time. I was playing for
Surrey Schoolboys fifteen years old and we actually we were
playing South London in the finals of the Home Counties
Cup and we were three one down at half time

(14:06):
and I scored a second half at trick and we
won four to three and went to the final and
I had There was Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Chelsea all
invited me and I always remember it. I went to
Crystal Palace for my first tryout. After the tryouts, the

(14:28):
coach said, okay, if i'll call your name out, you
can come next week. And if I don't, if you
don't hear your name, thanks for turning up and bye bye. Anyway,
he calls my name out and I had to go
up to him and say, I'm really sorry, but I
can't make it next week. He said, well you mean
you can't make it next week. I said I've got

(14:49):
a try it for Tottenham and he said, well okay,
and he crossed me off the list. The funny thing
is when they sign me from Millwall, I went to
meet all the directors and that, and there was two
or three of them still there and they said, we're
going to get you at last.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
Hi, Derek, it's Steve here.

Speaker 9 (15:13):
Hey Steve, Hi, we'd.

Speaker 4 (15:15):
Love to hear about your journey in joining the Millbourge
team and your experiences with the manager, Benny Fenton.

Speaker 9 (15:23):
Benny was a much better manager than people ever gave
him credit for. I planned for Tottenham and keithy Weller,
both of us and Keith. They don't They're not going
to sign him at Tottenham and he gets signed by Millwall.
And I'm good friends with Keith. We had a great

(15:44):
connection in the game. So he's saying, hey, Benny, fancies
you're over here, why don't you come over? I said, well,
I'm talking contract with Bill Nick anyway. So I met
Bill Nick two or three times and I wanted five
pounds more than they wanted to give me, and I

(16:06):
said that I wouldn't sign unless they gave it to me,
and he said, well, I'm not letting you go. A
couple of days before the season started he was like, Okay,
you can go. And I met Benny in Elephant and Castle,
which is my domain around when I grew up and
a Mickey person.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
They met him.

Speaker 9 (16:27):
I met met a Chinese restaurant, all his member and
we'd done the business and shook hands on it that
night and it was all signed to deliver the next day.
And then I played on the Saturday and we lost
two one.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Better times to come though.

Speaker 9 (16:42):
Oh we had some great times there.

Speaker 6 (16:45):
All those names, all memories, all memories. Hi, Derek, obviously
it's still I like to hear your voice. I'm sure
you remember the lovely times that well were not sat
for you and Keith Weller.

Speaker 9 (17:02):
Yeah, amazing.

Speaker 6 (17:04):
Those days are wonderful. And the group of Millwall players
gathered around Isid Rise and met I.

Speaker 9 (17:11):
Know John Gilchris was the first one there, and then
Keith went there. And then when I signed, I got
a signing on a fee of twelve hundred pounds. I
think it was. I thought I died and gone to
Evans and poor Car and put a deposit down on

(17:31):
a house at Ice did Rise and because Keith said,
will come out of my way, and he was around
the corner he had a he had a bungalow and
we bought one hundred flaarer allway, I'll never forget it.

Speaker 6 (17:45):
Yeah, yeah, In the address. I mean, it was really
truly special. It was here was there, and I'd love
to hear your thoughts and and how you remember those
times and how all of those friends over the years.
So it was just just so many, wasn't it. It

(18:05):
was just like the hub of Millwall, wasn't it.

Speaker 9 (18:08):
Well, it was unbelievable. Yeah, because we've got Dougie order
to come and live there as well, and yeah it
was Dougie. I'm still friends with Doug you know if
I come over to England, we always try and get
together and everything. Yeah, and we connected to each other
over the year, and so yeah, that was it.

Speaker 10 (18:31):
That was it.

Speaker 9 (18:32):
We used to drive in together and it was like
it was great, you know, it was a very special time.
And you know your dad and Brian Snowden having the
car garage down in Mepham. I used to take my
car down there and sit and have coffee and chat

(18:53):
to them about their days at Millwall. And Millwall is
a very special club.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Wasn't it all in that time? Because of course I
me babysitting for you as well.

Speaker 9 (19:06):
Yeah, yeah, that's unbelievable. But you think about the players
that Benny Fenton signed at that time it would be
millions and millions. Now you know he brought in some
very good player Elf Wood. There's Elf who played up
from now. He lived in Mapphamose Weell, I said, rise

(19:30):
as well Debbie alf Right today. He was a good
center Ford. I'd go back to all that. People say
to me, you know who did you love playing with?
I said, you know, I loved playing I played with
Jimmy Greaves and Day McKay, Johnny Why Bobby Smith for

(19:51):
Cliff Jones, that played with all of them, Philip Bill.
We both came from Mrsdon. He signed a year ahead
of me at Tottenham and he stayed at Tottenham his
whole playing career. Basically, he's going to have character to
play at Millwall.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (20:09):
Yeah, you have got to have a love. You've got
to have the love.

Speaker 11 (20:13):
You do.

Speaker 5 (20:15):
What Derek, you scored quite a special goal down at
Millwall as well.

Speaker 9 (20:19):
Well, I'm not going to say I didn't you know against.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
That was one of the those when I liked you, Derek.
I really like.

Speaker 2 (20:32):
Derek.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
It's Steve again. Yeah, who was the most influential player
during your time at the Den?

Speaker 9 (20:39):
Keithy Weller and me. We were known in London with
the other clubs of the players as a dynamic duo.
We played with Johnny Haynes's testimonial over in Fulham and
we walk in the dressing room Eddie McCready. He goes, oh,

(21:00):
here comes the dynamic duo. It's like it's always stuck.
They used to do it. Call us that, he said, Keith,
He says him up the post, scores him.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Yeah, becomes buried later on, didn't he for that goal?

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Barry?

Speaker 9 (21:17):
They knocked that ball through? Yeah? I got that on
on my phone actually, because people go, oh you you
scored the golden Gone, I'll go yeah, and they look
at the christ you could run as well. Yeah, does help.

Speaker 10 (21:41):
Brilliant.

Speaker 5 (21:42):
I'll tell you what, Derek. He was a wonderfully talented player.
Whether I loved him, I didn't mind, mate. I loved him.
I thought he was quality Keith whenne.

Speaker 9 (21:53):
He was he was brilliant, you know. But I made
him look good because I got on the end of
his passes.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Did you dinner?

Speaker 6 (22:03):
I've got to intervene there. I'm sorry. You were my favorite.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
So you tell Ryan King that, haven't we? I'm sure?

Speaker 6 (22:17):
And Barry rowan Oh, Derek was my favorite.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
That there because you give her a bit more money
for babysitting.

Speaker 9 (22:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was a tight one.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
Anyway, your final days as a football player were filled
with excitement as you enjoyed three fantastic North American Soccer
League seasons with Vancouver white Caps. Yeah, played key rolling,
They're incredible, winning the Soccer Bowl in nineteen seventy nine.
What were some of your favorite moments with white Caps
and did it feel challenging to say goodbye to such

(22:57):
an excellent career.

Speaker 9 (22:59):
I was basically thirty six years. I went straight into coaching.
I mean I played until last thirty six. Then I
coached till I was seventy. I worked with Tony Waiters
for the national team and the Olympic team, and I
had all my own soccer camps and everything. And that

(23:19):
was brilliant, you know. I mean, your life is so special.
It's like it goes and I'm retired at seventy, you know,
and which was nine years ago now, and I still
loved the game and my wife's football again.

Speaker 10 (23:37):
Ain't.

Speaker 5 (23:41):
What was it like with a white Cap? Said Derrick.

Speaker 9 (23:44):
I came over in June seventy seven, and I think
it was like July the fourth something like that. We
played the New York Cosmos Empire Stadium in Vancouver. They
were getting like six thousand people to a game. We
had a thirty two thousand sellout because play was playing,

(24:05):
Beckham Ball was playing, played against Perla was one of
the great things in my life. Yeah. And I used
to play against Beckham Bower and he used to call
me Ah the little Englishman. I used to always be
like his ankles and everything and chasing him around. And

(24:27):
but Pela was special, the star.

Speaker 6 (24:31):
But Derek and Steady again and Ted to talk to
Vancouver members there focusing on Millwall and looking back, how
would you describe your experiences from those member of years
with Millwall.

Speaker 9 (24:46):
I learned the game at Partenham and I played the
game at Millwall. I become a player at Milwall. If
you weller become a player at Milwall, you know, and
then you Dennis Burnett's and Big Kitch at the back
and Alan Downey and Harry Boy. I mean it was

(25:09):
such an experience. There's so many characters in that team.
You know, it's been brilliant. I loved it.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, well it always leaves it special.

Speaker 9 (25:21):
Isn't it totally? Yeah, totally.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
I know with Daddy his heart was always with Millwell.

Speaker 9 (25:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
Yeah, very special, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (25:33):
City?

Speaker 9 (25:34):
It never goes away? I mean I played for Tottenham,
I played for Millwall, I played for Palace, I played
for Rorian, I played for the Vancouver I Gus Patricks
and Millwall is the one in my heart. Lovely mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Brilliant stuff. Brilliant stuff, Derek. Before you go, there is
Ted's prediction League and we like you to share your
predictions for three championship scores. At season's end, we'll see
you as the best score predicting skills among our guest
hosts and all of us get involved. So I'm going

(26:20):
to hand you back over to Ted because it is
is a predictioned league. He might he might even tell
us what the what the prize is going to be
at the end of all is, but he hasn't alluded
to that as yet.

Speaker 9 (26:31):
So was first class ticket to the Millwall game for me,
isn't it?

Speaker 3 (26:36):
So?

Speaker 9 (26:37):
I think.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
It's getting a bit of waring because there's somebody else
that's after not a first class ticket to Millwell. They
won the first class ticket to a pie mash up
in New York. So there you go. We left to
see New York.

Speaker 5 (26:59):
Yeahs, I've said to everyone, I have no idea what
first class is. I've never been anywhere near it in
my life. So wherever that's supposed to be, that very
much with you'll get that. But anyway, over this prediction League.
The first game is the obvious one home to Middlesborough
on Saturday. How do you see that one game? What

(27:21):
score do you reckon for that one?

Speaker 6 (27:23):
Well?

Speaker 9 (27:23):
It's funny because when I when I saw his aim
and when Aimon got in touch with me and he
and he and he sent this to me, it was
like Middlesbrough, we have some crack.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
You know there?

Speaker 9 (27:38):
Yeah, I'm going to go to one mill love it?

Speaker 5 (27:43):
Well, Derek, that's what I think. I've said that, but
I like it. I like it. The next one is
a bit of a relegation battle for two sides that
was surprised that they're down there and it's Cardiff and
they're at home to Stoke Citney. How do you see that?

Speaker 9 (27:59):
Yeah, I'm going to go with a one one tie.

Speaker 5 (28:03):
On one side. Yeah, I think they're both fighting, so
I don't think there's gonna be a lot in that
and the last one it's probably last chancealoon for Plymouth,
but they're home to Sheffield United, who we beat the
other night and have lost their last two games. Are
desperate for win, but I you see that one gain,
Derek Blimouth versus Sheffil United.

Speaker 9 (28:22):
Plymouth against Sheffield United, I'd say two nil Sheffield United.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
Thank you, Derek.

Speaker 2 (28:31):
Wonderful. At least we're in for a win. I'm delighted
about that. Didn't we have some games against them when
you guys.

Speaker 9 (28:43):
Oh, we had some great games against them.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Yeah. I think they used to be our biggest kate
at one time in those days. Yeah, anyeah, there looks.
Thank you so much for being on the show. It's
truly been a delight hearing your wonderful stories and we
look forward to having you back again.

Speaker 9 (29:05):
I'd love to brilliant.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
We'll get you on.

Speaker 9 (29:09):
Always love to have a little banter.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
It's always good, and we'll make your debbies on because
she well, now she's devoted herself to you and there
you go and disregarded all these other.

Speaker 9 (29:24):
Name it's my diary, nice one.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Anyway, we issue the best, so then we'll chat again.

Speaker 9 (29:40):
Okay, brilliant. Okay, lovely Derek.

Speaker 2 (29:49):
Yeah you going over there, that would be good.

Speaker 6 (29:54):
I'm glad to thank you.

Speaker 9 (29:58):
You're always welcome. Yeah, love to Sydy. Yeah, yes, she's
right here.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
Hid bye, there you go, there you go.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
Wonderful cheers for they.

Speaker 9 (30:13):
Bye bye bye bye.

Speaker 2 (30:17):
Well lovely to speak to Derek and even to speak
to Cindy as well. That's re launched a very valid
sort of relationship that Debbie has had there with Derek
over the years. Anyway, we take a break there and
here from any Milliken. Oh yeahy, lovely to see you

(30:37):
here up in armies. Then again, tell me what goes
on when you're here? What can we expect?

Speaker 12 (30:44):
We're here Monday to Friday from ten thirty till five,
every day, open to the public. Everyone's welcome. We open
every match day from eleven thirty till half two. And
the girls up here all lovely and friendly.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
So what's on off at the cafe these days?

Speaker 12 (31:02):
We've got everything from chicken burgers to Panine's to full breakfast, tea, coffee,
hot chocolate, soft drinks, snacks, everything.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
You could need.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
So it's all here, all available, a great team to
serve it up to you. Well, what else can I
say but carry on in Harvey's style here at Harvey's
Den Cafe and all the best to you Ellie and
your team, and I look forward to coming up and
enjoying some of the fair in not the far distant future. Well,

(31:37):
in fact, I've already done that. The coffee is just
super Thanks Ellie. Thanks Amen. I'm your host, Aimen Barclay
and with me I have and no one likes us
talking team of Ted Robinson, Debbie Julians and Steve Warren.
Harvey's Den Cafe is located upstairs at the Lion Center,
the mill Community Trust Home in Berlina, Row, fifty hours

(32:01):
from the club shop. Great food and good prices. Now
let's hear from Ellis Barr.

Speaker 7 (32:10):
Hello, Elis here and I'm glad to be back talking
about Merwell.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
I know many have watched my videos.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
Thanks for your support along the way.

Speaker 7 (32:20):
It is now time to hear what all the Merwell
teams are up to.

Speaker 2 (32:26):
Come on Nerewell. Thanks as always, Ellis. Paul Loading brings
us the mill Romans and Pride update.

Speaker 13 (32:34):
Hi, it's Pauloading at the Millwell Romans with a quick
update for the week so some great news to report.
Both Romans and Pride have qualified for the lul Cup
Final and Shield Final respectively. We had the semifinals a
couple of weeks ago, with Romans facing Falcons in the

(32:55):
semifinal for the Cup competition and Pride facing Phoenix in
the Shield semifinal, so both great performances. We played back
to back on the games and that means we're both
now into the final of the two competitions, which is
a great achievement from both teams. Milwell have very kindly
offered us to play the finals at the Den, which

(33:17):
we're looking to do on the twenty seventh of this month,
with Romans probably kicking off a round about two o'clock
and Pride kicking off against probably kicking off about five
o'clock sorry against Charlton. That would be a cracking game
to watch. And Romans are against Stonewall in the LUL
Cup Final. Just to report a little bit on the league,

(33:40):
Romans are waiting for some results to come in. Unfortunately,
due to a couple of points that we've dropped this season,
we do need results to go our way. We still
have a couple of games left, but no games for
Romans this week. But Pride are playing away west Ham
Memorial Ground against Soho Tigers. Three o'clock kickoff and just

(34:02):
a quick one of the predictions, great result from Millwall
would have having some really good results at the moment.
This could be the year hopefully Millwell middles broyh let's go.
I'm going to say millwe're going to nick that one nil.
I think Cardiff Stoke I think Stoke called nick that
one nil and Plymouth Shuffle United Shuffle United two nil.

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Well, thanks Paul, that's brilliant stuff about the two finals.
It's a shame you gave some points away against that
team from the landon Barrow Greenwich. Perhaps we can invite
Derek from Maritime Radio along to the Den so he
can watch that game in that final. I'm sure he'd

(34:45):
thoroughly enjoy it. Well, the linees is had a weekend break,
but we'll update on what they're up to later in
the show. And some of the younger side done ever
so well in the JA competition that they participate in. Anyway,
we're gearing up to face Middlesbrough this Saturday, and you

(35:08):
heard much about that from Derek Posse, who I can
remember really having some great games against them. Last December,
we had a tough match at the Riverside, losing by
just a single goal during a challenging time. In the
last few games Middlesbrough have lost to Swansea and Leeds,

(35:28):
but Manister dre All with Luton shows they've been trying
to put up a good fight to stay on those
playoff spots. Unfortunately, they have now dropped out after the
latest round of results this week. With teams like ourselves
hot on their heels, they will be feeling the pressure.
Fortunately for us, there aren't many changes in our squad

(35:51):
except Cowburn being out since he's on loan from Burrow
and tang Ganger being out due to a wrist injury.
If we look at the youds Burrow, despite how they
been playing of late, of five to four to win
at the Den, the drawer is two to one and
our lines are two to one to win, suggesting we're

(36:12):
in for a closely contested match. Just a quick reminder,
when we're saying what we think about the game and
you're making your predictions, you and I cannot predict the
same score. So what do you think everyone? Are we
hoping for? A positive result or could it go another way?

(36:34):
I'd love to hear Ted's thoughts. First, what are your predictions? Ted?

Speaker 5 (36:41):
Well, it's a trickly old game, isn't it. But Middlesborough
will be desperate after losing the other night. But we
are on a roll and I've actually gone with millwak
to beat Middlesborough too.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
One fantastic How about you, Deborah?

Speaker 6 (36:59):
Yes, I know Ted's gone with what I would have
gone with, and they are they're currently seventh looking to
go in the playoffs and we are on an excellent
run and I'm going to go.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
To Neil to Neil Well, there's some looking lovely results there.
Then how about you, Steve.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I think it's going to be a bit tighter the net,
so I'm going to go one nil.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Well, I'm going to go for my usual on these games,
and I'm even going to name the goal scorers, so
I'm pretty positive. I'm going to go for the fact
that we're going to win free one and our goal
scorers are going to be Connolly, Ivanovich di Nore. So

(37:51):
what's that space because I shall have some money on
thatte right, Okay, let's move.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
On to are we doing the Cardiff and Stick.

Speaker 2 (37:58):
What do you reckon? I mean, it's it's Ted. Well,
are you going to do anything about Cardiff and Stoke,
tid or?

Speaker 5 (38:04):
I think that one?

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Yeah, we do that one. Then, thanks Tibby, you reminded him. Yeah, okay,
First of.

Speaker 5 (38:12):
All, I meant to tell you aim and that the
score goal scorers of my two goals will would be
length stuff.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Yeah. First, he's only seventeenth or one to get one goal.

Speaker 5 (38:27):
I might have some of that. He's due a goal
and I just got a feeling because Goban he might
just be the man. Anyway, the Cardiff Stoke game, I
find it difficult to split these two because they're both
desperate and whatever. So I've gone one one.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
So I'm going to go for the Cardiff Stoke game.
I'm afraid I think this is going to be a
coffin stroke and I'm going to go for Cardiff one
Stoke two.

Speaker 6 (38:58):
I'm going Cardiff to Stoake one.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
So I'm going to go Cardiff three Stoke neil oh,
and by the way, to score on stay.

Speaker 2 (39:14):
To score on Saturday for them. Okay, right, all right, okay, yeah,
very enough, carry on said next one.

Speaker 5 (39:23):
Next up is Plymouth and Sheffield United. Desperate stakes for Plymouth.
They really you know, they really do need a result.
But then sob Sheffill United after the last two games
had so I can't I think they're going to bounce
back Sheffel United and gone for two one to Sheffeld United.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Okay, and I'm gone for a one one draw.

Speaker 6 (39:47):
Oh gosh, I pinched mine. Puts it complicated. I'm going
to have to go to one to Plymouth untwer Oh
we left.

Speaker 2 (40:01):
You could go to too if you was going to
go one one, couldn't you?

Speaker 10 (40:04):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (40:04):
All right, then you persuaded me, let's go to too.

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
Well I think Shefford you're not going to bounce right back.
I've got them as three nil.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
Yes, well, thanks Ted for being here and managing that
and for Debbie to remind you what you're supposed to
be doing. So that's really good. But we also have
predictions from Nick Why of the Facebook mill Sicily site
looking forward to his or hopefully looking forward to his

(40:36):
trip to New York to have some sort of pie
and mash event. Let's hear what what Nick predicts.

Speaker 14 (40:45):
Nick Why's predictions mill War One, Middlesbrough and Neil if
one Stoke Neil and one Sheffild United one.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
That's pretty straightforward and it's thanks Nick. We like to
hear from here and SODA's Ted when he's live on
the show. We like to thank Dave Hart collects the results.
It's always a bit amusing, to say the least, especially
since we can never make the same predictions. But now
we have Phil Coleman's tows from the brut Room. This

(41:20):
has a flavor of Dockers Day coming up and it's
an emotional response from Phil this week.

Speaker 4 (41:26):
Hi everyone, Phil Coleman here with a few towels from
the Brute Rooms.

Speaker 3 (41:31):
As I make this piece, it's the ninth of April,
a year ago to the day since we lost my
dear friend Dave Memmitt. Dockers Day this coming Saturday, the
twelfth of April versus Middlesbrough is of course in memory
of the club's history, of the Dockers and of those
who played for the club, but this one is also

(41:51):
going to be to remember Dave Memmet. Lots of ex
players from nineteen seventy seven to nineteen eighty eight will
be attending, including his daughter Alice. Remember one talented player,
great son, dad, friend and colleague to so many in
Southeast London. Daveve was with me for from nineteen seventy four.

(42:13):
He grew up on the Peacher State, not far from
Cold Lowlane and the then he was a local lad
who made it pro. In nineteen seventy four when we
were fourteen years old, Me and Dave were training with
Billy Neil at Crofton Park.

Speaker 5 (42:25):
With some talented youngsters.

Speaker 3 (42:27):
By nineteen seventy six seventy seven, David already made his
debut and we both signed apprentice. We both signed after
playing for London. We signed as apprentices. We both played
together in the successful youth team that won the FA
Youth Cup. Dave played for the reserves and his first
team debut was solid. He was sold and returned to
the eighty six eighty eight season when we won Division

(42:48):
two and he's one of the youngest forest Weather scored
for the club and again it was priceless having David round.

Speaker 2 (42:53):
In the FA Youth Cup and we both returned.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
As I said in nineteen eighty six, but.

Speaker 3 (42:58):
It wasn't only that David was around me for my
footballing career. We returned together, but he was also a
good friend. He was a good family friend. He looks
out for my brothers. He's a decent man. He supported people.
He turned up for our family parties and he was
there when our parents died. He was the first young
player from our youth team to get into the first team,

(43:19):
and with that, men led the way. He busted through
the door into the first team, and fourteen of us
others realized we could all follow him into the team.
What was Dave like as a player is ball control
and he's passing that he's two footed. There's stories out
there and it's all true. Day could juggle the tennis
ball for hours, and he could do it for fun.
Dave fouled splace in a phone box, his ranger, passing

(43:40):
with both feet. He was fearless. He had such a
great attitude for the game. They've got hit, but he
just got and he carried on playing. He was almost unstoppable,
as Evanton Steve McMahon found out in the semi final
the FA Youth Club. He goes around Steve McMahon's foul
and now he nailed a few people, I can tell
you now, and so did the evident lads. He never
got memit back then in those days. So Docers this

(44:02):
coming week on Saturday is going to be about Dave
Memet and the history of the club. There's an awful
lot of explers coming back from the youth team and
the senior players from seventy seven to ahi to pay
their respects to both the club and Dave Merrick. Rest
in peace, Davis, thinking of you on this particular day
and see a lot of you down the den for
Docer's Day at this Saturday.

Speaker 5 (44:23):
Bye.

Speaker 2 (44:23):
Finally, Yeah, there's going to be a good few there.
I'm sure Phil and men and the Dockers were a
great get together. We'll take a break and listen to
a young man, Harvey Brown talk about the Lions Food Hub.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
Hi, Harvey Brown here.

Speaker 15 (44:44):
I am proud of the Lions Food Hub which is
jointly owned by Kelly and Ellen Webster and they have
been supporting families within our community for over two years
on meal match days. If you would like to donate
to them, they have a match day donation hub by
the S sixteen Bar at Cold Blue Lane and off
the ground whether they accept any food or money and
toiletry donations if you can help. Any donations will be

(45:08):
received with thanks.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
I'm your host, Amon Barclay and with me, I have
the no one likes this talking team of TEDA. Robinson,
Steve Warren and Debbie Julians. If you're not attending the
Den on a match day, you can lead contributions at
the Millwell Community Trust. Now tonight, we are thrill to
welcome back a familiar voice to our Dugout is famed

(45:39):
for making things happen and is at the forefront as
the producer of the Fans Program, the curator of the
Millwell Museum, and as the coordinator general of Docker's Day.
Welcome to the man they call mister Milwell.

Speaker 11 (45:55):
Chris Bethel, Hi, Chris, Hello, w yeah, good, thank you?

Speaker 10 (46:07):
Hi Chris?

Speaker 2 (46:08):
Are you yeah? Well? Debbie was obvious by her delightful
voice an yeah before before I enjoy out a panel. Chris.
It's been a while. I noticed you've been promoting the
under twenty ones lately with social media reports? Is that
another string? Teer Bo?

Speaker 16 (46:28):
No, I'm writing in the program. Obviously most days they
play during the week they do, so once I get
any information on I'm not putting in the program, I
just put it onto the sites.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
Well, I think that's appreciated by a good view. So
it is another string teer bow. So well done, well done.

Speaker 6 (46:49):
Hi, Hi, Chris is wriend today?

Speaker 16 (46:57):
They focked me up this morning make sure everything was
all right. And he's bringing a photographer with him on Saturday.

Speaker 10 (47:05):
What is he?

Speaker 6 (47:14):
Oh, that's brilliant. That's good, that's good, excellent. Well, getting
back to just what I wanted to say to you,
is I wanted to share how much I cherish the
book of the fifty nine Unbeaten Games. And it really
does hold a very special place in my heart since

(47:37):
it features my dad. I bought a couple of copies,
didn't I, and one for myself and two for my grandchildren.
And I know there's special editions, and it really does
hold a deer place in my heart. And are you

(47:59):
considering writing another book?

Speaker 10 (48:02):
Well, I'm looking at a shelf now.

Speaker 16 (48:04):
I think I got twenty up there, all unpublished, just
like that fifty nine unbeat and i'd done one for
the finals to playoff finals. I've done one with four
hundred photos of the old Den. They was given to
me by a fellow called Tom Green, who in the
sixties went around taking all photos of the den, even

(48:26):
climbing up the top of the flat lights and he
give me his negatives. So yeah, I mean I've done
that fifty nine because of COVID and I was in
touch with Tommy Wilson and Barry Rowan at the time
and we just talked through COVID. It just kept us going.
So that's why I've done that book. And it was
all done electronically. That's why it wasn't published.

Speaker 6 (48:49):
I mean, it is a very very special one and
if anyone comes to my house, I think I said
it to you the other day, it's the band that
I'm going to give them cotton gloves if they actually
use it. I mean, it is so special and to me,
it's that will go through my family, you know, for

(49:12):
my grandchildren, and that will be kept in a very
very special place because that's a piece of memory of
my father that it's so special. It really is, and
it's just everything about my dad's Millwall career, and it's
sort of it has all the programs and everything everything

(49:35):
going through and it is important that that's sort of
published and go through, so do do more books.

Speaker 16 (49:46):
We've just brought out the Hozo, So we've just brought
it out about six months ago. That took thirty five
years to do the joz of every player that played
for Millwaters. It's eighty five. That took us thirty five years,
and it was only because the historians was dying. Jim

(50:06):
Creasey spent twenty five years in reading newspapers and writing
all the stats down on the players.

Speaker 10 (50:14):
He died, and then we just made up their minds.

Speaker 16 (50:15):
It's got to come out because we don't know how
long we're going to last, and what we said, Wolding
passing away this season, there's only me and Dave Sullivan left,
so it had to come out. And that's a great book.
I think you're going to get that. Len's in it.
Lenny Julians is in it, so you get that. You
can get that in Odd Back as well.

Speaker 6 (50:36):
But when did you get that from?

Speaker 10 (50:39):
I've got it, Well, it's Amazon. It's from MRV. Pain.

Speaker 16 (50:42):
Pain published it for us, but it was Amazon. And
it's not too bad. It's only about nine to ninety nine.
When you think there's nearly a thousand players in there
plus voters. That's quite good. And it's took thirty five
years to write Nixon.

Speaker 6 (50:56):
We'll always be on going, really like the Guinness Boca
records that will always be on going, wasn't it.

Speaker 16 (51:04):
Yes, Yeah, well it's a it's the Bible on players.
But the breedings we've done with all the the goalscorers,
the crowds right from eighteen eighty five, all the matches.
That's the bible for stats and this is the Bible
for players.

Speaker 10 (51:21):
So if you've got the two you've got, you've got
complete set.

Speaker 6 (51:24):
Fantastic, Thanks Chris.

Speaker 5 (51:27):
That's unbelievable amount of work. Cuz me, Chris is teddy. Mate.
Let's say that's you done? Will to get it in
thirty five years mate, it.

Speaker 16 (51:40):
Was a lot of flasks for coffee and sandwiches, sitting
as down at write in a newspaper, ass and the
British Museum.

Speaker 5 (51:49):
I imagine I can imagine that. Anyway, it's stopped this
day on Saturday against middles Barough. Chris, Yeah, what's the focus.
What can we expect to see? Where's it all happening?

Speaker 2 (52:02):
And now?

Speaker 5 (52:03):
And when did it all begin?

Speaker 2 (52:05):
Right?

Speaker 16 (52:05):
Well, it started eighteen years ago, believe it or not,
when I was.

Speaker 10 (52:14):
Eighteen years it's been going.

Speaker 16 (52:19):
Well, it started it was Peter Garston when he'd become
fan on the board because his family were Dockers and.

Speaker 10 (52:27):
Stuart do you remember from Stuart to our chairman.

Speaker 16 (52:29):
Then Stuart Till Yeah, yeah, yeah, well yeah, I believe
it or not. And then John Barrelson come in when
then we had the Dockers Stand and he loved he
loved like most Americas they love history. He would go
down and shake their hands and talk to him and
have photos done. And I've got so many photos from
me and him with Dockers Day t shirts.

Speaker 10 (52:51):
Yeah, he liked to meddle as well.

Speaker 16 (52:53):
So it's yeah, it's a it's a tribute to John
Berylson as well because he's most of them years he's
been involved in it as well.

Speaker 5 (53:02):
So this week, this Saturday, all this.

Speaker 16 (53:07):
One's a special one because this is a special one
because it's for Dave Mimt. Yesterday he passed away a
year of SATA Day. He remember, it's for Dave Memet
playing for Milly in the seventies. He didn't when they
won the youth cartlet then he come to the eighties
where they won the league.

Speaker 10 (53:24):
He then become a coach and he brought players through
in the nineties.

Speaker 16 (53:28):
So twenty years it's a long time millll a bit
like Billy Neil. He passed away. We've got his family
come in, his daughter Elis. We're going to give her
a reef. We've got T shirts made that the players
are going to wear before the kickoff when they warm
up to give to the kids. We got medals what
we're going to present to the players in remembrance of

(53:49):
Dave mimck. We're even gonna have MIMET on the back
of the T shirts. The players are gonna wear MIMET
on the black of the T shirts. So it's going
to be a big day for Dave mimet Fifteen minutes
for the kickoff, We've done a video. The video is
going to be showed on the screen. It's just talking
to the Dockers and talking to me. You'll see my

(54:09):
ugly face. So put a lot of people off.

Speaker 5 (54:17):
That's why I stay on the radio.

Speaker 16 (54:19):
Chris, I wondered, if there's a zoom, I'll put my
teeth in.

Speaker 5 (54:28):
Isn't something happening in aries bar or something? Did I
read somewhere?

Speaker 10 (54:32):
Well, it's all changed.

Speaker 16 (54:34):
After for eighteen years, I present the medals on the
pitch before the kickoff. The Dockers and the players and
had a rally round a chair and then that was over,
and then that was it. This one is being organized.
Is no presentation on the pitch, no players being mentioned
on the mic. I'm taking them from reception into aries bar,

(54:56):
not going in the car park for autographs, of photos
the dockers through the door on so let me sit
down downstairs. The players going up in the lounge. But
at halftime the players are going to walk around the
pitch with Memet's family.

Speaker 2 (55:10):
Chris, What time are the players going up into areas? Well?

Speaker 16 (55:16):
Well, we're meeting at twelve. Hopefully we get him in
there by quarter past and before three.

Speaker 5 (55:21):
Chris.

Speaker 6 (55:23):
That's lovely that his family is going to.

Speaker 16 (55:26):
Be Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, looking forward to meeting. I
talked to her over the phone. She's pregnant, so I've
got her a cast face. I probably have to give
her a piggyback up the stairs.

Speaker 5 (55:39):
Yes, it's lovely. You remembering men though, Chris, because I
believe was the most talented player that came for our
youth team. Oh yeah, he was a fantastic footballer.

Speaker 16 (55:51):
I met him at Great Yarmoor for Billy Neil had
just seen him play on a Sunday, a few of
us went down to Great Yarmouth because they was in
a tournament the six year olds. Funny enough, I won
the novel in these contest at that yeah, and we
had a cup. One of the mill All fans, John
Elps's dad. He filled the cup with Paul. Three of

(56:14):
the players. They had the final the next day against
Crystal Palace and Mems was one of them and I'm
afraid Will got a bit drunk and if they did
in the final the next day, he was only sixteen
and Billy Neil never talked to me for a year.

Speaker 10 (56:27):
He was the they.

Speaker 16 (56:30):
Lost one new So I've known Mems a long time
and every time it's each other, we used to laugh.

Speaker 10 (56:35):
But we got up in their honored he camp.

Speaker 6 (56:37):
And of course Sir Phil Coleman has just played a
lovely tribute as well, and very touching day.

Speaker 16 (56:43):
It'll be emotional day, especially the players I've got because
they're from seventies, eighties and nineties and they're all the
people that sort of like was with him at the end,
people who was getting in touch with me. So that
I because I was putting it on the official site,
a photo and a bit of a biography on the

(57:04):
official site, and I was just waiting for him to
let me know because he was in hospital for quite
a while.

Speaker 10 (57:11):
And then they passed it on and we put it
all on the sites.

Speaker 16 (57:14):
But we didn't want to get it on too early
and we didn't want to get it on too late,
so that.

Speaker 10 (57:18):
Was a bit of a waiting game.

Speaker 4 (57:20):
Chris, it's Steve here, that's Steve. You're a yeah, well good?
Could you tell us when whyan how you became a
Lions fan?

Speaker 10 (57:28):
Long story. My next door neighbor.

Speaker 16 (57:31):
He loves speedway, he loved stock car racing and he
used to like to go in the speedway track and
then Millwall, so mel Wall Saturdays and Tuesdays. I think
it was like Monday speedway, stock car racing. I was
out Gray had racing. I was out all the time
with a next door neighbor. I was a excuse to
his wife to take Chris. Then the football and speedway

(57:55):
and it worked.

Speaker 10 (57:56):
Turns off. I was thought like brew.

Speaker 16 (57:58):
Up with all everything all to do with New Cross
Stadium and the Millwall Football club. And always remember Joey
Bralford because I used to sit on the wall and
I remember Joford being on the wing smelling of white ol.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
Debby was after some of that Chris earlier on.

Speaker 16 (58:18):
I'll tell you but when you were a kid, there
was like statues they were you know, it was the
white shirt with a blue band.

Speaker 10 (58:26):
But that smell white is it? Link?

Speaker 16 (58:30):
Link the whole brand? That's that stays in my head,
you know, I remember that. And then when I took Joe,
Joe's in Old People's own by the way where the
old brand is in the Old People's Home at the
Old Den.

Speaker 10 (58:48):
Yeah, wow, Yeah, he's in. He's one of them.

Speaker 16 (58:50):
And believe it or not, this was a sort of
Docker's day. He was sitting in the terraces. We was
having a Docker's day and I went to the players.
That was Joe Braford. I brought him onto the pitch
and from there he got a.

Speaker 10 (59:04):
He went up to the program.

Speaker 16 (59:05):
He got a part in the program, writing in the program,
and he becomes sort of like a part of the furniture.

Speaker 10 (59:12):
And that was really good.

Speaker 16 (59:13):
Nice to talk to him about, you know, about them
days and and what he got up to. And you know,
I said to him, write a book, and he wrote
two books with his with his son.

Speaker 10 (59:23):
So that was all down to book writing.

Speaker 16 (59:25):
Telling writing books and then he wrote a book and
they are very good books. I'm looking at him now,
a lot about It's which would look Northampton, but a
lot about Millwall.

Speaker 10 (59:34):
Well I'll just give you a list. The reason being
is because I've got the missed out look. It's a
d messy.

Speaker 16 (59:39):
Phil Coleman, Paul Roberts, Peter Glacier, Ian Gal, Dave Hopley,
Darren Morgan, Sean spiream Alan McCleary, Dennis Burnett, Terry O Locke,
Michael Marx, Alan Walker, Tony Kinseller and Nicky Coleman and
Rowan will be giving them some men as in Aria.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
That be lovely, absolutely lovely. Well thanks for that. That's
brilliant to know. Saying before your head off, it's Ted
Prediction League. He would be delighted to have you to
see your predictions for three championship scores for this weekend.
Now I'm going to end you over to Ted and
he's going to ask you because he's here tonight. So

(01:00:23):
take is he didn't he speak to you?

Speaker 10 (01:00:26):
All right?

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
Yeah? He did? Well, there you go, then over to Ted.
There you go.

Speaker 5 (01:00:32):
Then Chris, here's the freedom of this week. Obviously, the
first one's got to be a lovely lions Millwall and
Middlesbrough to see that one going, Chris.

Speaker 10 (01:00:40):
Right, I think that's going to be very tight.

Speaker 16 (01:00:42):
After the Portsmouth game, I mean Middlesborough well they lost,
they did, they lost it and they they lost to
Oxford didn't I yeah, so, but.

Speaker 10 (01:00:51):
I still think that's going to be I think that's
going to be a one on.

Speaker 4 (01:00:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:00:54):
Next one, Chris, which is a bit of a surprise
music it's a relegation bell but two sides. I didn't
expect to be down here this season. But it's Cardiff
home to stunk.

Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Oh.

Speaker 16 (01:01:06):
Let's the two draw teams then, aren't they. Yeah, I'm
hoping Stoke beat them, believe it or not, because my
my brother's that. Then when I go to Stoke game,
some all my family they're there, and my nephew we
meet up and we watched the game. So hopefully I'm
hoping Stoke come through. But I think that's going to
be a drawer.

Speaker 10 (01:01:27):
And I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (01:01:32):
The last one aside that I don't think either these
sides can afford the loose for what they're chasing. As
it goes, I picked out Plymouth for we know a
rock bottom and struggling against Sheffild United who have been
struggling and lost to every loved lines. The other night
they most win desperately, So I had you see that
one going well?

Speaker 10 (01:01:50):
I think Plymouth for ed it. They lost free No
last night, didn't they.

Speaker 5 (01:01:54):
Be a bit of a different side at home? Chris,
that's the only Yeah, give to them. They're bacon at home,
but they can't do anything away.

Speaker 10 (01:02:03):
Yeah, no, I can't see Flimmer pointing that now, I can't.
I think they're.

Speaker 5 (01:02:07):
Finished this morning, Chris.

Speaker 10 (01:02:10):
And I reckon it's going to be too Neil. They're
going to lose to now, thanks Chris, Yeah, what happens
if I win?

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
It's going to take you to Man'sies in New York
with Nick with okay, oh that would be good. You're
enjoying that, And yeah, thank you for coming on the show, Chris.
It's been a delight listening to you, as it always is,
and we look forward to you joining as a game
here is in Docker's day is a great success as usual,

(01:02:40):
last but not least, all the best to you and
your family by for an hour.

Speaker 10 (01:02:47):
By f and hour, and don't forget one hundred and
forty years next season.

Speaker 11 (01:02:51):
Yeah, absolutely, and I don't want to be on the
show for that one.

Speaker 2 (01:02:56):
Right, well, I think we'll do a special and you
can go through the under and four years.

Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
Yeah, we've been watching mill Wall for a minute.

Speaker 16 (01:03:06):
You need me to talk in October because that's when
it starts the.

Speaker 2 (01:03:09):

there talking about the glory of the one hundred and
forty years.
