The story of JOSH Landscape Co. begins with a 10-year-old who wanted a four-wheeler.
However, it wasn’t going to be handed over to him as Josh’s parents told him that he’d need to work for it if he wanted to buy one. Josh and his sisters were educated at home and their parents were always encouraging them to start little businesses as a part of their education and learn how to earn their own money. This is where Josh got his passion, drive and life skills that he would need to build a successful outdoor design and build company.
Josh officially went into business at 17 ½ in 2002. At that time he also started college for business and horticulture. Josh’s goal was to become a leader in Rochester in landscape design, installation, and maintenance. It’s been his goal ever since.
Since 2002, JOSH Landscape Co. has grown to become a team of 50+ people – Full-time designers and managers to specialty craftsmen including masons, wood craftsmen, hardscaping and horticulture specialists, architects and designers.
