Anthony Taddeo of Alla Boara visits Paradigms to share some of his story, to talk about Alla Boara and to share their new record Work & Song, a live album that captures the joy and passion of this music.
Alla Boara brings together traditional Italian folk songs from around Italy, with contemporary undertones of jazz and folk. Inspired by his heritage, Anthony researched the music of his forbears, and, along with his fellow musicians, has created this new take on old songs.
Alla Boara is Anthony Taddeo percussion, Tommy Lehman trumpet and vocals, Amanda Powell vocals, Ian Kinnaman bass, and Mark Micchelli pianist, with Yaryna Tsarynska violin, Garret Folger trumpet, and John Karkosiak guitar.
