Just before midnight on April 30, 2023, people across several states, some even as far as California, saw a bright fireball streak through the sky. Body-cam footage from a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer caught a glimpse of this, but a Las Vegas family witnessed something much more terrifying. A father and his 2 sons were working on a vehicle in their yard when they saw the sparkly object. As it came crashing down, they were hit by what they described as a shock wave. That is when they saw a tall creature in their backyard, which appeared to be 8-10 feet tall, had large eyes, was skinny with long legs & was greyish-green in color. They were terrified by what they saw and called 911.

Approximately 39 minutes after the 1st call, another resident called 911 saying that there were 2 unknown entities in his backyard after he saw an object fall from the sky. The caller described what he was seeing, detailing that they had big, shiny neon eyes & mouths & were naked. They were “100% not human.” After investigating the homes, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department decided to close the case due to no physical evidence and called it unfounded.

On the second half, we reviewed the 1996 film Independence Day, directed byRoland Emmerich and starring an ensemble cast including Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Mary McDonnell & Vivica A. Fox. It is about groups of people who converge in the Nevada dessert in the aftermath of a worldwide attack by a powerful alien race. With the rest of the world, they launch a counterattack on July 4 in the United States.

Join us on episode 163 to hear more about one of the best accounts of an alien encounter ever recorded in modern times!

Paranormal Punches is part of the PodbellyNetwork. Go to podbelly dot com for
more great podcast. Hey y'all, this is Frank the Bigfoot and you're listening
to the Paranormal Punchers. Hey,friends, welcome to another episode of Paranormal

(00:35):
Punchers. I'm Mark, I'm Militia, I'm Nash, I'm Dave. And
on this episode, we're gonna talkabout something that literally just happened. I
think this went down April thirtieth oftwenty twenty three, and we're gonna call
this Las Vegas Alien Encounter. Ithought we were gonna go with a what

(00:55):
happens in Vegas? Steas in Vegas? Now what it's aliens? Now it's
aliens. Not saying it's aliens, but it's aliens. And on the second
half, we have some listener feedbacks, listeners stories, and maybe we'll talk
about one of our favorite alien invasionmovies. But let's kick off what happened

(01:18):
at twenty twenty three Las Vegas,Nevada. All right, So, just
before midnight on April thirtieth, twentytwenty three, people across several states,
some even as far as California, saw a bright fireball streak through the sky.
Bodycam footage from a Las Vegas MetroPolice officer caught a glimpse of this,

(01:42):
but a Las Vegas family witnessed somethingmuch more terrifying. So at eleven
fifty pm. So it starts inApril, but it ends in May,
because I did see some of thereports for like on May first, and
I was like, well, whyyeah, it happened midnight, so um,
anyway, time is hard. Iknow, it was hard, timid.

(02:06):
Yeah, all right. So ateleven fifty pm, a Las Vegas
Metro Police officer caught a glimpse ofa bright green light traveling across the sky,
which was also caught on his bodycam, which I saw. You
can find it on YouTube. Ohyeah it ain't is bright. Yeah,
yeah, it's interesting. Now.At nearly the same time, a doorbell

(02:30):
camera in the area recorded a strangenoise and some what some sounded like a
crash. Um nearby, a fatherand his two sons were working on a
vehicle in their yard at midnight.People do that well, and it was

(02:53):
like if you look at the overhead, there was a bunch of like buses
and stuff they do repairs. Yeah, okay, yeah, April thirtieth.
They could have just been out siderepair and stuff. Lights were on,
having a few beers. Yeah,ye, well, anyway, I don't
know. You don't have to gointo it. But at that time of
night, Dad, go into I'mtelling you, it's the shadows are going
to block everything. Like even havingartificial lighting, you can't see down into

(03:15):
an engine. It's the shadows arejust going to cover everything. Who knows,
I don't know what it was outless they were touching up some paint
on the side. You don't knowwhat they were doing, right, Yeah,
it could have just had some chairsout. You know, we're sitting
there having a few beers. Yeah, it could be having beers. But
but when asked like, no,no, we were working, we were
we were working working. Yeah,we were sitting there getting drunk in the

(03:37):
yard. They should anyway. Sothey were working on their vehicle in the
yard when they saw the sparkly objectas it came crashing down. They were
hit by what they described as ashock wave. Yeah. Now, one
of the young men Angel said thatwhen they looked into the yard hard where

(04:00):
the object had landed, the areawas obscured and blurry, as if it
had been hidden or like veiled withcamouflage. Yeah, you know what alien
does that kind of stuff? Daveknew. Sorry, nobody's been on what
Thank you Alicia for recognizing what Iwas doing after the Dave and I were

(04:25):
right. The camouflage, you youknow, it bends light. He can
well, the predator goes fully invisible. I think his outfits kind of bending
light around. You don't really, yes, because he's always blurry in every
photo. Yeah, everybody on theplanet got it, which just chose not

(04:45):
to recognize. Thank you. Well, yes, okay, So it was
that at that point he saw atall creature which appeared to be eight to
ten feet tall, had large eyes, was skinny with long legs, and
was grayish green in color. Hecalled his dad over and when he when
his dad saw the creature, hetold him go inside. Um. He

(05:10):
said that when he looked the creaturein the eyes, his body just froze.
He felt like it was similar toexperiencing sleep paralysis. The creature just
stared right back at him and didn't. He describe the creature's eyes as this
black almost like kind of like whatI imagine shark guys, just this deep
black nothingness. I have a quotefrom Angel I'm staring at him, and

(05:35):
I'm looking at his whole body, and he has weird looking feet in a
big face. I thought he waslooking at it guy, big eyes and
you and you could see a mouth, a big mouth. I could hear
his loud, deep breathing, andI could see his stomach moving. He

(05:56):
would just stare at me. Nowall right, the whole like paralysis situation.
It just was a matter of secondsbecause eventually he was able to move.
Once he could start moving again, that's when he called nine one one,
um, which I have the call. All right, right here,

(06:17):
let's listen. Okay, what's goingon over there? Okay, lady,
Me, my dad and my brother. We're working at a truck in our
backyard and we have a big lotoutside right correct, Okay, were working
and we just see in a cornerwhy something pulled on from the sky and
it was with light and when ithead down, it was like a big
impact and we felt for like anenergy and then and then and then we

(06:40):
hear like a lot of footsteps nearus. And then we have a big,
big equipment and we see and there'sa there's like an eight full person
beside it, and another one decideand it has big guys and looking at
us and it's still good. Okay, where's this on your property? Uh?
In my backyard? I swear toGod, this is not a joke.
This is actually a week walking aroundbecause he was alone, big eyes,

(07:12):
have big eyes like like I couldexplain it, and big mouth and
big mouth. Yeah so I meanit's he sounded scared. Yeah, yeah,
yeah, it sounded terrify, soundsauthentic. It sounds like, you
know, wouldn't be anything else, right, yeah. So, Like publicly
after the events, Angel said thatthe family heard an audible pattern of multiple

(07:35):
feet in the yard and they laterheard footsteps on their roof. Now it
was in April and not in December, so it wasn't Santa's Reindeers, right
um. And then I think hementioned this in the audio that they claimed
to have seen one of the creaturesclimb behind the controls of a front loader
that was in their yard as well, like it was trying to to get

(07:58):
it, trying to start it up. Yeah no, no, no,
no, that's not what it wasdoing. I used to take my son
to construction sites every once in awhile when we go for a walk when
we pass the construction site, andif there was like a bulldozer or something,
I'd take my son and I'd belike, oh, go climb up
in there, and you not can'treally do anything to the front loader,
but go play in there. AndI take pictures of him, like he's

(08:18):
playing on a big truck. That'swhat the alien was doing. It had
been a long time since you playedwith any tonka trucks. So he climbed
up into the canopy into the theyland as a family vacation. Yeah,
they talking about it, and thenthe kids scampered over to the front loader
and he was like, look, mad da dude and trying to play with

(08:39):
it. That's exactly what I dohave to say, Dave, you disagree,
Well, that's plausible. The thingthat gets me is that those cabs
aren't big. If this is aten foot tall eight foot eight foot,
ten foot, it doesn't matter.A six foot person doesn't exactly well,

(09:00):
you know, I mean some ofthe like caterpillar bacco is, like they
don't have enclosures, so they couldtheir head to the side and still get
inside the cab. Yeah, Ithink it could have been mostly legs too.
You know, it could have beenlike legs and your knees are then
stuck up by your Yeah. Iknow it's like when I climb into a
like you get into a Mini Cooper. Yeah. I was in sync on

(09:24):
that little clown car kind of thething. Yeah. Now, approximately thirty
nine minutes after the first call, another resident called nine on one, saying
that there were two unknown entities inhis backyard after he saw an object fall
from the sky. And I havelike a um between the dispatcher and him.

(09:48):
Um, so there's two people ortwo subjects that are in your backyard.
And that was the dispatcher, hesaid, correct. And they're very
large. They're like eight foot ninefeet ten foot. I don't know.
They look like aliens to us.Now. The caller described what he was
seeing, detailing that they had big, shining kneon eyes and uh yeah,

(10:18):
naked Yeah, and were naked.Uh, he said, didn't come to
Vegas to party. They did,and they were yard hopping, you know,
jump over somebody's yard and you gothrough the backyards. Yeah. He
told the dispatcher one hundred percent, they're not human. Now, the dispatcher

(10:43):
for the Las Vegas Police department initiallywondered whether sending a crisis intervention team was
more appropriate to help these families, but decided to ultimately take it seriously.
One of the officers can be heardon his body cam or in his car
they I think they have audio intheir car too. Um, I have

(11:05):
butterflies, bro. These families saythey are aliens in their backyard. Like
so even the coughs were just kindof like, I'm pretty sure that's the
same cop though that saw yeah, the LIGHTNUS guy. So he was like
already like, U, well,I saw that, and now we're dispatched
this house because they say this.He was really yeah, I think it

(11:26):
was freaking out of him a littlebit, as would probably anybody. Um.
So upon arriving the officers, theylooked everywhere for these creatures and they
started asking neighbors if they'd seen anything. Ultimately, though, they closed the
case as unfounded. Now didn't thepolice. When the police arrived, they

(11:48):
actually saw like people in black suits, sunglasses and wall like driving away.
They were still they came to thescene. Yeah, I did hear that
too, like possible men in blackright right that they showed up Now probably
took what twenty minutes, half houror whatever for the cops to show up.
The men in black were already there. They were already there. You're

(12:09):
already they're doing their thing. They'rejazzing people in the eyeballs forgetting thorolyzing people
in the eyeballs. Yeah, youknow, wow, you know you left
that kind of podcast, you know, making them forget whatnot. And they
were taking off and the police showedup, and yeah, the police witnessed
the men in black. Yeah.So there are many that believe that this

(12:31):
is one of the best accounts ofan alien encounter ever recorded in modern times.
So, and now they did.I did see a picture they're showing
that it left kind of like acircular right Russian in their backyard, which
it looks like a lot of stoneor sand, because I guess, you
know, gravel grow a lot ofgrass right Vegas. And I thought I

(12:52):
read that they have some type ofcell phone photage but haven't released it.
I don't know if you right.Yeah, So I guess the police went
back and they tried to like questionthe homeowners and they couldn't get in.
There was a couple different times theytried to question the homeowners and the phone
calls are not responding to anything. But supposedly they do have actual footage,

(13:13):
cell phone footage of this whole thinghappening, and I would probably hold out
some news network would want to ponyup some cash, right right, you
know what I do want to launchit on YouTube for free. There is
a video out there that it purportsto be body camp footage of the alien
in the garden. Um, it'sdefinitely a hoax. It has a date

(13:37):
of May twenty third, which iswell after this whole thing when yeah,
and yeah, so it's it's likenight vision camera, you know. So
yeah, and on Twitter, uhto in response to this story, people
are calling it hoax. You know, show me the video otherwise it's a
hoax. So people are throwing shadeat it that that nine one one call.

(14:01):
It sounded like a scared person.Yeah, yeah, you can pull
a hoax, but again, hoaxin nine one one, it's a crime.
It just sounded like he saw hesaw something he couldn't explain, freaked
out and called the cops, rightyeah. And there were multiple calls to
nine on one saying that they sawsomething in their yard. Right, um,

(14:22):
so, so it's a multiple, multiple families are trying to hoax the
police department, I don't know.At the same time, yeah, yeah,
exactly. Oh but even the policeon their own camera dash cam seeing
this thing fall from the skies andat least in the video I saw it
was kind of like a bluish thingand it was it was moving fast.
Oh yeah. And then at thesame time these calls came in. Right,

(14:46):
It's kind of tying together pretty well. And I'm just wondering, like,
Las Vegas, Nevada, what otheralien activities do we have in recent
months years? Is this a placewhere they want to come? And the
answer is yes. The answer isyes. I mean, basically, the
all of Las Vegas is it's surroundedIt's in a big valley surrounded by mountains.

(15:09):
So it's a wonderful area for peopleto come and enjoy, if you're
from this planet or not, umbeing. I have been there a couple
of times. You can see theVada from space. I mean, I
haven't been in space, but there'sso much light coming from the s Las
Vegas space. Yeah, I meanit's it's I don't know, it's gonna

(15:33):
be as bright as New York.I don't know, there's writer. I
imagine that, you know. AndI looked. I came across a bunch
of other quote unquote sidings, anda lot of them were it was a
cold day with a little moisture, and it looks like lights from a casino
or something that we're bouncing off of, you know, a cloud or something
like that. But it's just sobright there that if you wanted to land

(15:58):
anything, and I guess you justyou would be like, oh, well,
here's a great place to land. It's all very well lit. Here
you go, let's just land. Not to mention list before I get in
here. Maybe I'll just jump intothe whole military side of the whole thing.
Yeah, go ahead, you know, I'm just saying, so there's
I assumed you would, so goahead. Yeah. So yeah, that

(16:22):
might be a good nickname. Rightum. There are four main military bases
in Nevada. Okay, There's there'sNella's which does strictly aircraft. They're aircraft,
you know, the Air Force Base. If you need a military aircraft,
that's where you're gonna go. Uh. The Creech Military Base supports the

(16:44):
War on Terror, So they're actuallythe brains of the bunch the Hawthorne Hawthorne
Military Base, it's where all theAMMO goes. Its main specialization is AMMO,
which is kind of kind of scary. And imagine no smoking in that
one. No no smoking, nono farting with with lighters. I mean,

(17:06):
there's there's nothing that can ignite anything. And then there's the NAS.
You know, the funny name Daveis that will come back around on the
second half of the show see it. And I didn't know that. You
have no clue, no clue mostof the time. Um, the n
AS foulon base. Now, thisbase, okay, specializes in ground to

(17:27):
air and air to ground. Uh. I want to say relations missiles,
defense, Yes, I don't know. Defense. Maybe it's newer than all
the other bases. Uh. Andit's also a Navy base. Okay,
so let's put it into perspective. This is a Navy base in the middle

(17:48):
of the desert surrounded by mountains. That made me think, okay, well,
wasn't no. This is you know, just some tangents keep going star
Trek is I. Yeah, isbased off of the Navy. It's a
Navy thing. Yeah, it's notair forced, it's Navy. So I
just popped into my head. Actually, the the Fallon Base was opened in

(18:11):
nineteen forty two as a response tothis oh so nat named after Jimmy Fallon,
No No wait before Him. Openin nineteen forty two as a response
to the to the Japan invasions. In nineteen forty one, it was upgraded.
It was kind of left to bethere, looked a little bit,
but it was upgraded in nineteen seventytwo. This was also the base where
the top gun program was moved to. So it's yeah, exactly. So

(18:34):
you have all of US fighter pilots. They're trained to be the best fighter
pilots, and if you need Amma, you can get it from anywhere.
You can get it from the otherNevada base. There's there's a bunch of
if once you coordinate everything with theCreech Creech Base, they're basically the brains
of the bunch. They coordinate toall the other ones. So I'm like,

(18:56):
okay, So basically Nevada has it'snot a trifect, but it's quad
it's a synergy effects from all thebases together because of the specializations of each
base. The it's it's really asynergy effect for all the bases in Nevada.
You have, you know, theability for aliens to come down,
you know, with all of theambient light that's in from Las Vegas and

(19:19):
from the strips, you have openspaces for when they can come. And
there is also a storage facility. There's actually two storage facilities in Nevada.
Um there's the yuck A Mountain nuclearwaste repository that was mentioned in the well

(19:41):
known documentary Here we Go. Yeah, yeah, if you don't, I
don't know if you've seen it ornot, but it's a documentary called Godzilla.
Uh yeah, where they where theyactually house the mutos, you know,
the was it the male muto?I don't forget about the female muto.
I don't know, I don't know, but it was at the sixties
Godzilla or was it the Roland Emericnineties Godzilla? It was the one where

(20:04):
where where Godzilla finally a good Godzillacame back. No, it was even
newer than that. I think itwas like the two thousand. Yeah it
was Brian Cranston. Yes, okay, yeah, yeah, where in that
one one of the mutos was storedthere. Now, the interesting thing about
this facility. It's very interesting.I'm glad you asked. You know,

(20:26):
you're not. Uh it was.It was approved to be built in two
thousand and two. Okay, sothey were building it whatnot. Uh funding
then got cut off. They cutoff funding in like two thousand and eleven,
so it stopped. It absolutely stopped. So basically, uh, yeah,
it was. It was fully built, fully functional, and then once

(20:49):
it was created, the funding stoppedfor it and it was abandoned in two
thousand and eleven. This facility,it has the storage inside of the mountains
that for all the nuclear waste that'sour country creates, I guess. And
so right next to that is thisFallon base. So I'm just saying there's

(21:11):
a whole lot of stuff going onthere in Nevada. And then, of
course, while I was looking, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course.
Yeah, so you have storage, you have the brains of the operation,
plus all of the means to defendagainst them, to work with them
and give them a home or aplace to be when they come to earth.

(21:33):
So okay, yes, I alsolook a little bit into Area fifty
one too. I was going tosay, it's about one hundred miles away
from Las Vegas. There was somereally cool footage from the Jerusalem Post like
Google Earth footage of time laps ofparking lots and cars going into area fifty
one. Really bitch and you should. Yeah, And I was just thinking

(21:53):
aliens might be interested in Las Vegas, Yes, because they could really think
any maybe some of the the worstthat we have to offer humanity, with
all the pottery that goes down inLas Vegas. Uh, maybe some of
the best, with some of thegreat shows. Maybe they find it like
we can learn about humans from onespot. I don't want to see they

(22:17):
can roam freely, but they canalmost if they were gonna end close to
the strip. They can almost roamfreely on the Strip without anybody paying any
attention to them. Almost. There'sso many uh, I mean, just
think about if you're walking down toVegas Strip and Chris Angel his magician comes
out and does his crazy ass stuff. Of course, an alien walking street,

(22:40):
you wouldn't blink twice. You wouldjust assume Vegas performer. Yep,
yep, exactly right, exactly right. That's why Vegas is perfect for that.
And they have the means, thehousing, they have all the necessary
all the necessities that one alien Ithink would need other than maybe jumping through
people's backyards, which they do.I don't know. I'm just thinking that
Vegas, Vegas would be an idealspot for them to land. Dave,

(23:06):
Okay, yeah, I mean wedon't know what their needs are, so
right, yeah right, that's whythey end up in people's backyards going,
you know, a fence hoppening rightyeah. Um, they just wanted to
play with a back with a baccoor we need to dig a hole.
So wait, am I supposed tobe answering something question? Question in there

(23:27):
that you should be answering? Youlook like at something to oh, tons
of stuff to say, just howI was supposed to continue this. I
was trying to kick it over toyou a new thread through this U.
Yeah. Um, I did seethe they've debunked the circle. Um that
that was visible on Google Maps forover a year. Okay, so it's

(23:48):
in the backyard. In the backyard, I saw that circle and I was
like, that wasn't just a pairof tire tracks that did that? Yeah?
So um. But overall, youknow, if you've listened to me
through this whole episode so far,it sounds like I'm debunking it constantly.
But this to me is the Iagree with that headline the best alien encounter
in modern times. Like, I'msuper excited about this. I'm usually skeptical,

(24:11):
skeptical about alien aliens on Earth, like, yeah, I'm sure there's
life out there, but the factof them coming here is such a minute
possibility. Right with this, It'slike, oh, and they have proven
that it was a meteor that wasthe bright light, but that doesn't mean
that the meteor didn't come crashing downand that they were somehow inside of it.

(24:33):
I was gonna say the same thing, Yeah, they could have been
in the meteor. Yeah, soit's you know, and then it open
like that, Yeah, there waswhat was it, well, battleship they
were coming down. That was likesome type of meteor breaking apart. There
was an evolution okay, yeah, but that was microbes going and evolving on
plant on Earth, starship troopers, but they weren't coming in on the meteors.

(24:57):
They were those were weapons. Um, But in any case, it's
like, if that's the case, what if they're using that as a distraction
and kind of a weapon, becausethat that whatever I watched something that that
talked about the meteor or whatever thatblue green thing was coming down. They
said when it landed, when,if, and wherever it landed, it

(25:18):
was about the size of a car. It was huge, you know,
and I don't think it could bethat big. It would have caused more
damage than it said. It dependson That's why I say it is where
it landed, right. The videothat I saw said that he was thought
to land just somewhere in the watersomewhere. And if it was in the
water, well then it could beYeah, it could be wherever. But

(25:40):
the way, you know, ifyou um read up on how you know
asteroids media is coming through the Earth'satmosphere compressing that air. It's not actually
I mean the size of it is. It's more of how much air it's
trying to displace and what can't that'sheating up and that's what causes all the
destruction energy getting So it's really ifit hit water, it would still cause
a lot of big boom. Yes, but before you were saying you kind

(26:06):
of believe this, yeah, yeah, So this is just really really exciting,
the just hearing that nine one onecall, the way they're they're describing
it and it's opening up all theseideas in my head of what this could
be. Because if they were comingon a meteor, was that like a
prison that they were stuck there andshot out in the space, and so

(26:29):
these are actually criminals that some othercivilization didn't want or what if? You
know, we always think of alienshaving to come up with a you know,
be an intelligent race in order tofigure out how to do internet,
international innerspace interstellar travel to get here. But if they were just hitching around
on a meteor, whether as analien or not, or as a criminal
or not, they could just bea typical animal like a beast that that

(26:53):
was their home and they end uphere. Right now, we're not dealing
with an intelligence species. We're dealingwith a new type of creature. You
know. It's there's no reasoning withthem. But they're also not out to
get us. They're just they couldjust be stupid justus there m interesting,
you know. Also around the sametime, there was a report that came

(27:17):
out unless you can back us upbecause you have some deeds, but art
Designs three or five sent this tous about it was the headline users to
reveal UFO evidence after a claim thathas intact alien vehicles and art designs through
a five says finally possible evidence thatwe all thought the government had. Oh

(27:41):
man, it's getting close. Yeah. So David Charles Grush is an Air
Force veteran, a former intelligence official, and a representative to the Unidentified Aerial
Phenomena Task Force, and he isthe one that became a whistleblower to the
media, and he said that thereis a secret UFO retrieval program that the

(28:07):
US has been conducting for years. We've been collecting intact and partially intact alien
spacecraft in order to research but alsodo some reverse engineering. So yeah,
so that I feel like UM reallyopens up a lot of questions. Well,

(28:30):
in the documentary Independence Day, yeah, now on that, like,
given how free are information flows inthis country and how watch people talk and
everything, and you hear about allthe people leaking classified information now from snowdon

(28:53):
on um, is it is itreally viable for all the people that would
be required to have a program likethis. This is the first time we're
getting a whistleblower, Like the firsttime there's a real leak about this.
H No, I mean I feellike there's been leaks in the past,
But wouldn't they have some you know, hysteria of some sort. I feel

(29:21):
like, I think how it getsleaked would really depend. But I feel
like the human the human race, everybody living on the planet is full of
distractions. That dang phone, socialmedia. People aren't paying attention. So
it's not until a ship literally showsup in the sky like an Independence Day,

(29:42):
hovering over a building. Right, how can you get people look up
in the phone and you know, think about anything else, but how to
be an influencer today and to believethat it's real. That that would be
the one way to know it's realif it's hovering right about about, Because
if you're seeing it on any sourceof information, it could be a deep

(30:03):
fake, it could be photoshop,it could be whatever. You kind of
need to walk outside and look up. That's why I don't think there's any
hysterics. No one's paying attention, you know, no one's even reading some
of these articles. Yeah, youknow, you have whistleblowers all over the
place, but if nobody's given arat but because they're too involved with something

(30:25):
else, Like you literally need theship to hover above us right for us
to be like oh oh damn right, it is real. Yeah, And
you know, I intentionally chose theword hysteria there. But at the same
time, I think we've reached apoint where everyone, I think is pretty
okay with the concept of aliens. It doesn't mean like if they come down
fighting, obviously we're gonna be inpanic mode. But if if a ship

(30:48):
just appeared in the sky right now, it's going to be a different level
of hysteria much much less. Peopleare kind of expecting that one day this
is just going to happen, asopposed to like the fifties, where what
do you mean, and like itwould have caused a panic. So like
if the government wanted to open allthese things up and tell us about what
they've done, I don't think itwould generate the work I think they're working.

(31:10):
It would happen if you'll be like, oh, yeah, we knew
that, thank you, thank youfor confirming you know what happened, you'd
see a bunch of T shirts poppingon t public of exactly, it's really
people to be like, oh cool, it's real. We're gonna let's make
some money off right right. Youknow, I'm very, very curious and
we can get into the discussion onthe second half. Just if aliens come
good, bad, trade, orjust annihilate and take over, why do

(31:36):
we think about that? And we'lltalk about in the second half, along
with some listener feedback. We'll beright back and we're back, all right,
final thoughts Las Vegas aliens invading.I liked your thoughts on the UM
the air Force pieces. Thank you, Yeah, because it's correct. Some

(31:59):
people think this is a hoax.Uh. And then I have a quote
from UM science writer Mick West.He says a raccoon which has pretty big
black eyes could be on top ofthe fence and someone could mistake that in
the darkness as an alien being withgiant eyes or something like a coyote jumping

(32:22):
over the fence. Oh okay,a coyote sitting on top of the fence.
Yeah, apparently, So that's whatthe talking about. What I'm sure
if I saw a raccoon on topof the fence, that would not be
right. Yeah, and I wouldn'tcall it naked, right, definitely has
her right. So anyway, Ifeel like a lot of people saw something

(32:45):
and it terrified them because they justdidn't compute as far as like what am
I looking at? Right? Somethinghappened. I wonder where that dude's from.
You know, I don't know,because I where there's giant raccoons else.
And also one of the one ofthe weird things you'll find in the
Southwest is you don't have typically youdon't have wooden fences. You have chain

(33:07):
link fences or block walls. Youdon't have wooden fences because wood drives up
and it burns. Right, SoI wonder where that guy's from. I
called a question that quote where he'sfrom? I pitted the fools and stuff
like that, all right, SoI said, like, if aliens were
to come down, do you thinkthey would be here to make friends,

(33:31):
destroy and take over or just tosit back and study and try not to
get involved. I think there's afourth option, do it and mention breeding
with us? No, no,no, because that would be in one
of the other options. Okay, yeah, that's what they're here to do.

(33:51):
But anyways, I actually I wasactually when you mentioned that, I
thought of the film documentary of course, District nine. Okay, where those
aliens are refugees. They're on aship. They're they're refugees on a ship.
It's not, and the ship wouldhave been either attached or tracking the
path of the asteroid or whatever camedown, So they could literally be refugees

(34:17):
and none of the above, justtrying to get away and survive. Okay,
yeah, dad, what do youthink again? I go back to,
you know, it's possible that they'renot intelligent life, so there is
no good or bad. They justare um, you know. But the
if it's but then why would theyget into a frontloader and play with the
controls? But I don't know.I mean they got to be intelligent,

(34:40):
Yeah, because they build a shipto get here. No, that's what
I'm saying. If they hitched herout on a meteor, they may not
be intelligent. They may just beYeah, okay, like holding onto the
asteroid like in the second Avatar movie, you know, where they're underwater holding
onto the thinkers is along. Yeah, well we all know that. Nash

(35:01):
watched that crappy movie. Cinematic watchedit. But yeah, yeah, the
way of Avatar, the way ofwater is. In any case, assuming
they're intelligent, I like to thinkthat they would follow what we would probably
do if we could explore other planetsthat had life. We would start off

(35:22):
on a very cautious manner, probablybig mammals. We would do some reconnaissance
and um watch from afar, butthen we would go in and we would
assume good attent until we were provenwrong. Well that's very similar to like
what and I keep going back toStar Trek of course, but that was

(35:45):
their protocol with relations with new speciesthat they were discovered they were they were
contact. Yeah, well, theywere allowed to observe, but not interact.
They couldn't They couldn't let themselves bemade aware of until until that plan
it was ready correct. Fact inthe one movie wasn't until they achieved like
d D and then they knew okay, right, But even to that,

(36:07):
humans aren't altruistic, so I don'tthink it's for the greater good that they
would interact and assume the best.I think it would be one of those
make sure we're not dealing with somethingthat's bigger and stronger than us that could
fight back, and then we wouldprobably do like an avatar and try to
take over all their resources and tryto find their unitanium. Yeah, So

(36:32):
that's that's how I think if alienscame here, that would be exactly what
they're going to do. They're goingto to watch us from afar. Then
they're going to come in, notlike just instantly attack us. They're going
to see what our strengths are.And once they know how strong we are
compared to their strengths, they're eithergoing to try to take over, become
overlords, or probably go away.So what you're saying is that the likelihood

(36:55):
of a pacific rim situation happening followsthat almost identically, because that whole force
was like a recon force is whatthey're dealing with, and the overlords were
they were going to tear form theplanet, but they needed to send those
guys out to clear the planet outfirst. Okay, okay, all right,

(37:15):
and Probus and well they got tolearn. Uh, they're the best
way you can learn about Definitely thinkthey're definitely investigative their studying because if they
just landed and show themselves, ifany where they landed in the world,
people would just open up fire.Yeah, you know, we would just
be launching everything we had at that. So they need to step back learn

(37:38):
maybe see, hey, can webuild a a human cyborg right? Send
that down. They won't even knowwe build it. Okay, inter mingos
it learned since the data back tous, I'd say, a fact finding
mission for a long time, andthen they might realize that, Yeah,
we should just take the planet overthe idiots, let's take it. Let's

(38:00):
let's do it. I think they'vealready, like we watched this documentary called
Idiocracy. We think that's gonna hapknow what's going to happen. I think
they've already done that. I canthink of two examples of of robotic like
human beings that have come down andare sort of taking us over. In
Zuckerberg and ask okay ai, Yeah, it's now the talk of the town.

(38:25):
Yeah, right, and they're sayingthat that could definitely lead us terminator
two yeah, or just terminator yeah. Hmm. All right, listen,
you think they're here to be friendlyor decimate? Uh, well, neither.
I think you're right. I thinkthey're maybe curious. They want to

(38:46):
learn some more information about us beforethey really interact with us. But for
all we know, it is theUSS Enterprise, and they're like, man,
there's a long way to go beforefirst content. Right, we'll come
back in fifteen light years. Right. Well, because we have reports going
back to we we have UFL encountersgoing back to the fifties of the forties

(39:09):
or the twenties. We have themgoing back for almost a hundred years,
you know, so at some pointthey've got to stop. They've got to
gather all the information on us thatthey need. You neither do what they're
gonna do. They gotta either partof the phrase, but should get off
the pot, you know, kindof kind of a thing, because we're
really getting tired of getting improved.Jeez, I'm just saying, all right,

(39:31):
just saying, had the experience.I say, you make it sound
like you're getting sick of it thehuman race general. Hey, let's just
keep showing them at Nash's house.Okay, it's Marty's turn. Okay,
well all right, we should youknow, just leading the next conversation Alien

(39:55):
movies. Okay, I thought, like we talked about invasion, we talk
about big blockbuster. One came tomind was Independence Day. Ye Okay.
These aliens were not here to makepeace, you know, do any trade,
any bartering, uh, study,They were here to take over the

(40:17):
planet and wipe out the population, right right. Uh, this is a
Roman emeric movie. Who is considered. We looked up to the other day
list. The Master of Disaster.Yes, big disaster movies. He's always
making big disaster movies. Um,not as in the like flops like some

(40:38):
of them, some of them ourdisaster. Yeah, yeah he is falls
a disaster. Um. This alsohas a Jeff gold Bloom being as gold
Bloom as possible. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. We got Will Smith,
We got Bill Pullman, Bill Pulm, the President given Bill Pullman, the

(41:05):
President United States, giving the thatrallying speech. Yeah, before the the
the fighter pilots have to go upand take on a giant ship. Randy
Quaid was crazy. Randy Quaid wasin it. Now, do you guys
consider this like a good movie ora B movie that's a B movie but

(41:29):
really good so it's fun, oryou consider this like a really good uh
nine out of ten blockbuster? Iwould say, I'm sure you all know,
we know you love it. Yeah, I absolutely love this movie.
Um. I've loved it since Ifirst saw it when I was fourteen.
Um, I know. I wentto the theaters um with a couple of

(41:54):
friends and um, we saw themovie off thought it was great. We
came home, turned the TV onand it was like a special news bulletin,
and I started freaking out because Iwas like, Oh my gosh,
are we having is it happening right? Is this happening right now? But
no, it was like a planecrash or whatever. But wow, wow,

(42:20):
wow, not so bad a crash. Yeah, sorry, but I
just remember this movie. Wow,that was a dark wow. You're like
you were inducted and replace. Butno, this is probably my number one
favorite movie. So yeah, II enjoy this movie. I can it
can my god a movie? Nah? Yeah yeah, it can be on

(42:44):
it anytime, and I enjoy it. I like the progression of it.
I the walk back thus scene withWill Smith and Jeff Goldblum walking and through
the desert coming off those are twosexy dudes. Oh yeah that was until
it doesn't matter who or what youare That that was a good scene,
right lady. Yeah, yeah, you know, I enjoyed it. I

(43:06):
enjoyed the sci fi of it.I enjoy the rallying call that Bill Bill
Pullman gives his speech. Yeah, his speech was a great great. Yeah.
So every fourth of July, myfriend and I we post on each
other's Facebook. Um the whole speech, do you really? Yeah, it's

(43:27):
you try to see who's the firstone to wake up? And yes posted
first. Yeah. Now some ofthe funny things that I didn't get Dave's
opinion, I didn't I wasn't done. Wow, Dave, Dave, what
do you think I'll keep it short? Wow that's what she said. Uh

(43:49):
sorry, Uh no, this Igive a ten out of ten. Um.
I love this movie. It's it'slike the in my eyes, it
is the perfect summer blockbuster definition itit has. It's not the world's greatest
movie. It's not Schindler's List oranything like that, but I mean they're
not even the same category. Butyeah, for a summer blockbuster, this

(44:12):
has everything. The um there's alittle bit of romance, there's a little
bit of um uh, you know, drama, and you know, family
and all of that stuff, andthen of course the whole sci fi in
action and everything that. Yeah, above everything. It's like, I just
I love it. Um, Ihave. I'm surprobad you put that on
Schindler's lists. I'm just saying romancein the Explosions List wasn't really a fair

(44:39):
comparison. Sitizan Kane his Citizen Kaneeither. UM for me, I'm saying
it's not one of them. Ithink it's kind of a B movie what
but in a good way, becauseit is kind of dumb. And there's
elements where, Okay, there's amoment where aliens are invading. They're trying

(45:00):
to figure out what to do.There's these giant ships hovering over locations all
across the world, and uh,Jeff Goldbloom, Yeah, he helps figure
out because he works at like Comcast, right, you know, because he's
a cable guy. He can tellsome signals and he's a smart dude.

(45:21):
He's just working at Comcast. Butfrom them, I mean he's a wicked
smart dude. Jeff Goldblum is alwaysplaying. Comcast plays pretty good to the
it guys. I mean they gotthey got a good checkbook anyway, all
Washington, they needed Jeff Goldblum. But they do figure some stuff out.
They have a plant and then theystart using like Morris code, and then

(45:43):
we get a cut scene to uh, Britain's armed forces and the head the
guy in charges like, uh,it's America. One guy's like it's America.
They have a plan, and oneguy's like it's about bloody time.
Like they're just waiting, like justwait for America. They're gonna figure this
out. So there's moments like thatare just this is funny. Yeah,
And that's why I put it inthe B category, but in a in

(46:06):
a good B category, like,yes, it's cheesy, it's over the
time. We got one liners, yes, left and right. But at
the end of the day, Idon't think you ever walk away watching the
movie feeling like that sucked you.You walk away going like I'm entertained.
A shit, yeah, I needanother one like that. I think it

(46:28):
fits into my version of what mostpeople would put like some terrible movies like
Twister and Mummy, things that comeon and you can just watch you know,
those are all garbage and you shouldjust try out the television. But
Independence Day, definitely, it's agood fun movie to watch. It makes
you feel good at the end. It's the best way to say it.

(46:49):
It's just a good fun movie, right, yeah, yeah, don't check
your brain at the door. You'renot good. It's cool. So it's
just popcorn and go for it.That's the analogy I was trying to make
when I said Chindler's List or somekine or whatever makes an in your opinion,
you described it as a B movie, but in the category of summer
blockbuster, I think it was anA. Oh that's that's what I was

(47:12):
trying to get. In the summerblockbuster category, I think it is an
It's like, it's like not aB movie. I think it's like The
Death. I think it's like thedefinition of a summer blockbuster compared to Citizen
Kane and Chintless List. Yes,it's a B movie, okay. An
a summer blockbuster would be something likeAvengers or Avengers End Game. Okay,

(47:34):
it was in the same thing. It was. Oh no, it doesn't
hold a candle to this. Whatwas the release date of Independence Day?
July fourth of what, nineteen ninetyright, hey, exactly. You couldn't
do Avengers End Game in ninety eight. Now the CG I would have looked
terrible, but there was some good. Chris Evants is Captain American, right,

(47:54):
that's true. Actually some of theCGI that they did in that movie
was pretty of his time. Actually, that's one thing. It holds up.
Yeah, if you watch it now, the CGI holds up. I'll
tell you what doesn't. If youwatch Star Wars, the Clone Wars or
the Prequels episode two or whatever. That CGI is wonky. It does not

(48:16):
hold up, but independence date doesit does. And like when the when
the when the ships are coming overthe airfield, you know, you can
see the shadows of the ships onthe ground and they're doing the flyby,
the flyes through and the canyon andwhatnot. That's all great footage. Man,
that's good stuff. Do you thinkwe'll always just if we don't know
what to do with it, We'rejust gonna nuke it, you know we

(48:37):
we well, we'll send some jetsup. Our stinger missiles had no effect.
All right, Well we're just gonnanext step nuke it, right,
Yeah, we have nothing in between. Wait, we don't have another missile.
We could try to correct it.I don't think that would happen,
at least not in this case whereit's where we don't have something power.
We don't think it's powerful enough. We would see what the damage our missiles

(48:59):
are doing and say, okay,it's having no effect. It's not amping
it up. And where I gowith b movie Daves. So just the
solution because there's you know, theynuked it, but it had no effect
because they have shields, right,So the solution is go to Area fifty
one because we have a ship thatcrashed from Roswell Sure intact and we figured

(49:24):
out how to fly it because yeah, yeah Trower, you know, and
we're gonna send uh Will Smith andgold Bloom up and they're going to plant
a virus, so a computer virus. Give it a call. What do
you say, Uh, We're gonnagive it the cold right. You're telling
me that our computer technology whatever,we can create a virus that an alien

(49:49):
computer system would actually be affected by. There's what I think. Here's where
I think it's kind of a Beemovie because you're not supposed to think too
hard on that. You just acceptthat. Hell yeah, because it's Will
Will Smith and Jeff Goldbloom and they'regonna do it well, but they're they're
on the programming language of the alienshas got to be on base on something
similar. I just say, notat all. I think that's actually this

(50:14):
thing is the if we could figureout how to interface our computers to their
computers, WI filed it, thengiving it a virus is you know,
it would be like any other hackingactivity to figure out vulnerabilities and get in
and do something you couldn't do itovernight unless they really had no security whatsoever,
but just getting that interface, gettingit connected. But they had the

(50:36):
ship with the with the force fieldsthere, so they could figure all that
stuff out. But and Jeff Goldblumis really smart. Did it have USB
ports? I don't know. I'mthere, I don't know. It's like,
you know, what technology are yougoing to interface with? You know
how many dongos they would need tocome on FireWire? Who has those those

(51:00):
things anymore? Come on? Ithink that's what kind of makes it a
B movie of mine, but not, I don't mean it as a negative
um. And oh, then whenthey do take the shields down, Randy
Quaid drives this thing right up themain guns and he's like, does anybody

(51:20):
have any missiles left? But theymakes a big one liner like honey,
I'm home or something like that, kind of like, yeah, these are
the B movie elements. And Ithink they they anolish in them that and
they knew they were making, likehe said, as a sci fi action
comedy. We're going for it.We're swinging for the fansis okay? So
so that was in ninety eight, right, Okay, So let's let's review

(51:44):
the biggest summer blockbusters from going intothe nineties and in the eighties, how
many of those? Let's let's lookat some of the action movies that are
out there. Hey, Mark,do you know anybody who might be uh
into maybe a podcast about action moviesfrom the nineties and eighties? Oh,
that would be Swallow Cinema, werestrong Man Ryan and myself Ryan being strong

(52:06):
and me being the nerd um talkabout eighties and nineties action movies. You
should check it out Swollen Cinemas onall the podcast apps. But how many
of those summer that was the summerblockbuster for years and years and years?
How many of those how to catchphrase? Every single one? Every single one?
So that's why it had to bein there. Now we don't really

(52:29):
have that as much anymore, butthat was probably one of the last.
Yeah, the eighties and nineties theyhad to have the Arnold Arnold's most of
his dialogue was just one language.Yeund but awesome even had to stick around.
But there, Okay, there's one. Would you consider the Predator blockbuster
B movie? I say that's oneof the best alien movies period. I

(52:52):
don't know that came out and Ithink eighty seven. I don't know when
it came out in the year. And I think there's a particular thing that
at least I was talking about here, the summer blockbuster. Yes, it
always came out at a particular timearound the summer release, around July four,
and you could always plan it right, and everyone was always this one

(53:12):
that was planned every year. Andthe movie that killed summer blockbusters was Wild
Wild West. H Yeah, everythingdropped off then, well because it was
terrible it was. But then likeEnd Game you mentioned End Game. Endgame
wasn't a summer blockbuster. It wasa blockbuster because it was man when it
came out. You know, Mark, pull your head out, quick quiz

(53:32):
for everybody. Do you know themovie that started what we consider summer blockbusters
didn't didn't DNT came out late seventies, didn't. Yes, it is jok
Okay, there you go, Okay, Okay. Anyway, I guess that's

(53:58):
our movie discussion conversation. Yeah, yeah, I did want to throw it
out. I love talking about IndependenceDay. I think it was, you
know, a really good choice forthis. I think there's another movie that
may fit the Vegas Alien encounter alittle bit closer you probably hate dad one,
I hate it. Nobody signs ohyeah, yeah, uh, well

(54:22):
let's do it. But but thatwasn't that wasn't that wasn't uh. In
the definition of the summer blockbuster withthings exploded, we're not comparing it to
Independence Day. We're comparing it tothe topic we talked about. Oh yeah,
I guess aliencounter aliens landing in yourbackyard. Yeah yeah. And then
what's what they did? Glimpse everything's, you know, a shadow organization,
and they were the aliens in thatmovie were kind of tall and lanky,

(54:43):
like he described what was walking thename in that movie Walking Morgan, swing
Away. They tell you something aboutthat movie. I hated that movie.
What okay, it is my opinion. I hated that movie when it came
out, But over more movie,no, I realized it actually is a

(55:05):
really good movie. It's a goodmovie. Um. I think I didn't
like that scene with the whole swingaway things. There was there were some
things in that movie I didn't depreciate. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but
sometimes and I wanted too hard tobring everything together and have his twist right.
But I also think I wanted maybemore alien action and I had to
watch it more times to realize, like, that's not really what the movie

(55:29):
is about. Un Once I startedgetting I'm like, it's a really good
movie. Yeah, And even tothe point where we wanted to go to
is it Easton Eatown? Not Eatown? Uh, somewhere in outside of Philadelphia
where they is it east and Easton? Yeah, that's where the bookstore scene
goes down a couple of scenes likeI kind of want to go, yeah,

(55:49):
to these filming locations. So Ithink Science is great again. First
watch, I didn't like it,but now I think I get it.
But not a really good not asummer block cluster like Independence Day. No,
no, no, this is kindof like what do you call that?
Like, not a thinking, thinkingman's movie? Yeah, kind of
like what do you call that day? Come on, it's not cerebral,

(56:10):
it's psychological thriller. Yeah, yeah, more suspense. There was more suspense
than in it. So, butdid anybody so comparing Independence Day, I
just just saw the very beginning ofIndependence Day two on television talk about one.
It was never a sequel made,Yeah, we're not going to talk

(56:32):
about it. It was it wasa big drop off. I've never seen
a cliff so big. There wasa few fans that got together. Oh
my, iagined what they could do. But when people heard the concept,
it was just terrible, and sono sequel was ever made, never made.
Yeah, remove it from the I'mnot sure we even finished said movie.

(56:52):
I came I think it was. It's so bad. I've yeah,
yeah, I've never been rather thanten minutes in the movie and I was
like, what is this. Idon't I don't know what this is.
There's something else on which is hilarious. I thought you'd be like, look,
it is the best sequel ever.Empire Strike Back, No Independence Day
two is the best sequel ever.Yeah. No. I I saw the

(57:15):
like I said, the first tenminutes and was like, oh, there's
a hem's worth in there, okay, And then I was like, this
is such a drop off. Imean, it's not like one steps to
the other or even kind of welland they hobbled Bill Pullman like you can't
do that. Yeah. Yeah,it was just I was a nine and
day different. I was surprised. So, yeah, don't watch it all

(57:37):
day any day. Throw it on. Enjoyable movie. Catch the scene where
they're walking in the debt and you'dbe like hello, all right guy.
Yeah, I wouldn't say a tenout of ten, but enjoyment wise,
you're gonna feel like a ten outof ten because it's just fun to watch.
And you know what, at theend of the day, uh,
the world Humans we pushed back theAliens and like, hell yeah, yeah

(57:59):
we would all thanks to Randy Quinnflying that ship right up the butt of
the alien ship. That's right, all right, that's our movie, our
movie. Rant Oh sorry, Iguess we're not. Don't not about the
movie, but talking about it andthe Men in Black reminded me of one
detail we left out from the Vegasencounter. Um So, the Homeland Security

(58:23):
set up camera systems on their houseto record this area, and no one
knows why. It's like, likeit's they gotta you know, I'll just
use ring. They have a wholering system now set up that Homeland Security
is monitoring. I guess in casethe Aliens come back. I don't know.
It's weird, Okay, I loveit. Yeah, alright, So

(58:47):
we're gonna move on to the finalpart of the show. Listener feedback.
Give a shout out to new Patreonmembers Indiana, Jenny Nice and Andrew rue
Ak, the professional wrestler Matt Turner. Um, all right, so we
heard from Desmond. Hey, PetePunchers, glad to see you stepped into

(59:13):
the world of Japanese folklore with thesh what we did the show, Succinoko.
I know, but I was goodthat show, but I almost botched
it on that Succhioko. I'm afolkloreist myself and have done a lot of
research on folklore around the world, and Japan has especially interested me. I
like to humbly suggest you investigate theyuri unrio and kuchisaki an Okay, sorry

(59:43):
for all the mispronunciations, but we'lllook this up. All three are forms
of vengeful female spirits, and inmy opinion, rather unsettling, the last
of the three even causing a reallife panic in Tokyo. Really yeah,
but I did thank Desmond for thesuggestions. He replied, no problem,
consider me a friend of the showand a fellow enthusiast. Techie Techi is

(01:00:07):
also a good one, and thereare plenty of movies to pair with these,
which that's great. Nice got alistener story for you as well.
It goes like this, back intolate seventies, A mid sized town in
Alabama was plagued by sightings of adancing figure wearing a cow scull by the

(01:00:28):
side of the road. This wenton for a few months before someone took
the logical route and opened fire onthe mysterious creature. Yeah, okay,
it was scarce so bad that itwas never seen again. Now that's how
you deal with the paranormal. Whileremember it was not weird, it's not
worth checking out like Nash's butt, okay, which is totally worth checking out.

(01:00:52):
What I was just reading Desmond Road, all right, and that's where
I was circling back to the lighterand arts, like, hello, Desmond,
you do not I want to bearound Nash's but right, Well,
in that scenario, I would agreethat one hundred percent. But I gotta
tell you it's pretty tight and lookingpretty good back there. I'm just saying,

(01:01:13):
it's all those squats you hate todo, all the squats that I'm
doing. Oh yeah, it's tight. You could bounce the quarter off of
that thing, you know what I'msaying. No, No, I should
have left out that last part weheard from Indiana. Jenny. Hey,
guys, Indiana, Jenny. Here. I was just listening to your one
hundred episode the Game Show and thoughti'd write about a few things. First,

(01:01:37):
the sure Robusco monster. I liveabout forty five minutes from there,
drive through there quite often on myway to corporate headquarters, and always wondered
why there are turtles on everything.I remember you doing an episode about it.
It was delighted to learn about somethingso close to me. But I
didn't notice that you're pronounced. Idid notice that your pronunciation is wrong.

(01:01:58):
Yeah, it's pronounced chair uh buscolike a school bus. Okay, chero
busco. Okay, say it beforechurro curro busco. Okay Indiana, Jenny,
You're gonna find out everything we pronouncedis wrong, is wrong. Uh.

(01:02:20):
Next, I have a theory onthe hat man. I'm not sure
if it's already been mentioned, butwhat if it's not a hat? What
if it's indeed a bean or beansfrom another dimension peering through the pudding skin.
Totally team pudding skin. But that'sthe shape of its head, not
a hat. Just a thought.No, I didn't have a thought of

(01:02:43):
that, because the Aliens Independence Dayhad a really kind of weird shaped hat.
If you would see just a silhouette. Would it look like they're wearing
some weird hat? Correct? Correct? Yeah? So what if the hat
man is just aliens in the cornerright creeping on you while you're sleeping?
Uh? What if our brains arejust associating what we know for something we

(01:03:07):
don't know. Mark left you fordead, dead dealing with aliens or hat
man in there in the corner, torture for torture. I just rolled over
like, hey, you know,it sucks to be you if you're there
in the morning, And next Ithought I'd tell you about one of my

(01:03:28):
most recent experiences. It's amazing thethings that happened to you once you open
yourself up to the possibility of allthat is going on in our universe.
And I'm gonna let lish read thispart. Okay, since I am now
known as Indiana Jenny on your show, let me first tell you that Jenny
is a name from long ago whenI was a young girl. Since the

(01:03:51):
since my first divorce almost thirty yearsuh year, I'm sorry, thirty years
ago now, I have been calledJennifer by anybody that I have met along
the way. The only pay peoplewho still call me Jenny are my family,
and friends from a long time ago. However, I picked Indiana Jenny
because it sounded closer to Indiana Johnnyafter another listener on your show, I'm

(01:04:15):
sorry, I'm having problems. Okay, okay, uh, this is important
to this story for reasons you'll soonunderstand. I was recently talking to my
friend from Chicago that I met abouttwo years ago and who has just recently
started learning to become a riichi rei kika um. I don't know this.

(01:04:43):
This is a school of massar saving. Okay cool. Through this process,
she is starting to hone in onher medium abilities. I was very
upset about something going on in mylove life and was telling her that I
am fifty two years old and itwill never change. She was trying to
encourage me, when all of asudden, she stopped and got silent for
a few seconds. She started actingvery strangely, and I was a little

(01:05:08):
confused as to what was going Whatwas going on from her end As we
were on the phone, she finallysaid, look, I don't want you
to think I'm crazy, but sinceI've started opening myself up to my abilities,
I'm hearing dead people. She continuedthat she wasn't sure of the female

(01:05:29):
energy that was now pestering her wasrelated to me, but she was being
very aggressive physically and was insistent upongiving me a message. She mentioned that
it might be my grandma. Iwas very confused because I was only thinking
of my mom's mom, who wasnot aggressive or overbearing at all. She

(01:05:50):
was very sweet, kind and timid. Then it dawned on me when my
friend said, Oh, she's funny. I like her. She's a hoot.
Wait, my dad's mom was ahandful and she was exactly like that,
a hoot. So although I stilla skeptical that this could be my

(01:06:11):
grandma, I agreed to accept themessage with a rolling of the eyes.
Even though I believe in this stuff, for whatever reason, I just didn't
believe that it was my grandma whenmy friend. When my friend was giving
me the message, which started outwith it's generational, I already knew this.
I come from a long line ofwomen who had failed relationships over and

(01:06:34):
over. But then the next thingshe said took my breath away. She
said, Jenny, as long asyou're still here, you can change it.
She said, Jenny. This friendhad never known me as Jenny.
We worked together, and everyone atwork, including her, called me Jennifer.
And that is exactly how my grandmatalked to me. She would say

(01:06:57):
Jenny and then continue with whatever shehad to say. I just sat there,
stunned. It took me a whileto speak, but told my friend
why. I was so shocked, and I asked her to tell my grandma
that I love her and miss her. She said, she can hear you.
I couldn't sleep that night. Iwas tossing and turning at this new

(01:07:18):
discovery. It's just so wild.I know it was my grandma. I
messaged my friend and told her thatI'm sorry to tell her this, but
my Grandma was probably going to bepestering her a lot to talk to me
now. She said, Yeah,I had to tell her to not get
physical with me like that again. If I need to, if I need

(01:07:38):
her, I'll call her. Shesaid. She really liked her, but
she's a lot. She said.My grandma looked at her with a raised
eyebrow like yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sorry, but I'm not saying
I'm sorry. That is my Grandmato a t, including the raised eyebrow.
So that's my story for the day. Hope you enjoyed it. I

(01:08:00):
have more to tell next time.I just became a patron. I'll buy
a T shirt here soon when wintergets closer. Have a great weekend,
Indiana. Jenny, thank you somuch. Thank you that story with us,
and also for being a patron.Appreciate it. Would you like to
share a story with us peril punchersdot com. You find all the ways

(01:08:23):
to contact us. Any thoughts onthat, you know, Uh, talking
to a medium and your your grandmabe a little I really like seeing for
sure. Yeah, I really likethe idea of if she's going through the
process of opening up her like herenergy and whatnot, and opening to it
and finding out that she actually hasthe ability to do this. The idea

(01:08:45):
of seeing hearing, you know, hearing dead people, that's terrifying, you
know, but I guess it.I guess it kind of depends on the
circumstance, you know, if likein the sixth sense where you just kind
of see him walking around, Ohmy god. Yeah, be terrifying,
but connecting with family and that ispretty amazing. It's pretty amazing. Yeah,

(01:09:08):
So thank you for sharing that withus. And somehow we reference to
m Night Shamalan movies. Episode. That's that's amazing in itself. And we
I think we all like the movieswe reference from m Night right, don't
get me started on the Village. That's a good movie. I like the
Village, but I stand alone.I will fight all of you on this.

(01:09:31):
But we're not gonna watch the Village. Yeah, so we can have
a debate, right, that's nota good movie. What's anyway for later?
Well, that's for our patreon willpen on the parking lot and get
to that later. Yeah, allright, anything else I don't think so,
I'm right. Please, aliens bereal, come see me, see

(01:09:53):
Dave. Be nice, yes,be nice, be nice. That's all.
Yeah, aliens, Yeah, ifyou please everybody, everybody, females,
aliens and non aliens. Yeah, all right, we's giving a final
thought. Oh um, it wasinteresting to talk about it, Okay,

(01:10:16):
Yes, aliens be cool. Yeah, it's just be cool. Otherwise I
can tell you exactly what we're gonnado. We're gonna launch some nukes and
it's not gonna be good for anybody, because if you show up in my
backyard, you know, and it'smidnight and I'm sitting out there with a
buddy and we're working on cars. You know, we're just enjoying the thing.
We're just enjoying the time. We'renot actually like trying to repair a

(01:10:40):
car to get it to go tofor somebody whatever. We're just playing around.
You're having a few drinks, playingaround. And if an alien shows
up and does this thing and goesyard hopping and you're and you're a dick,
that's gonna be a bad situation, right. You know, I'm saying,
if alien show up in my backyard, like do it. I got
a fridge, fool beer, Igot, I got a cold. If
they're nice, that's right. Ifthey're nice and they're not being dicks,

(01:11:03):
then yes, come on. Iwas like, you want to learn about
humans? Uh, grab a beer. I can tell you a lot without
You don't have to probe anybody. He could just have a beer. And
this is how you can learn aboutstupid beans. Although aliens have a fatal
allergy to gluten and you just killedthem all Oh I started I started the
war because I gave an alien tobeer. Oh it's right, that movie

(01:11:28):
all right? Until next time.Everybody, Remember, if it's not weird,
it's not worth checking out. UnlikeNash's but apparently check it out.
Yeah, I don't talk about
