(13:07):
the plan Wednesday. I'll take either. Right, you have to have that
long, long dress I have soum, I need to go get my

(13:28):
food really quick. Excuse me,what'd you do? Pad Gass? Nothing?
So I don't know about you andGenevieve. Actually I do know because
it has got to be my favoriteholiday of all holidays is sewing. And
you know it's hey, Christy London. We were just talking about you,

(13:52):
dear um. So it's like there'sno holiday like this. I mean,
from the Day of the Dad toSaint Hallow's Eve to um like sewing and
everything else. I mean it is. It is the best holiday. I
don't care who you are. Andthen people, Yeah, but you know

(14:13):
what really gets me is the peoplethat want to shut it down. Oh,
because that's coming up. You know, people are going to be starting
this. I know that stuff.I know. And even with um with
trick or treating, we see wehave seen such a huge decrease in kids
going out trick or treating, andI think it's because a lot of people
are doing those trunk or treats now. Yeah. So I mean it's nice

(14:37):
because you have a nice little communitythat you can trick or treat in,
But where's the fun. Like weused to like target neighborhoods and just descend
on that neighborhood to get candy.Yeah, well, you know, we
actually for my new job, wehave a beautiful courtyard and it's set right
in the village of Caledonia. Andthen we have actually uh started. We're

(15:00):
going to be approaching all the businessesto give them an area to where they
can set up a table. Andthe village has agreed um and so that
they they love the idea, they'regoing to help push it um to where
the kids can walk through, canwalk through all of the courtyard and get
Canadian stuff. So, and Buddythe big Foot's going to be there.

(15:24):
We got Scooby, We got ScoobyDoo who's gonna be going back and forth
across the street because he's part ofthe Mason's. So it's gonna be it's
gonna be fun. Is that onHalloween or is it? Yeah, it's
right on Halloween from four to eight. Yeah, in Caledonnia. It's going
to be fantastic. I love JillianCandy bar House. She takes it seriously,

(15:50):
apparently we had one year. Itwas it was not too long after
I bought my house. It wasthe first time that we could really have
trick or treaters. And yeah, because I always lived in my apartments,
it was like my own trigger treaters, you know. And nobody showed up,
and I was like running down thestreet like I've got candy, Like

(16:11):
they're gonna be like there's a witchon Osbourne Street that is trying to scare
children, chasing chasing the kids downthe street with candy, you know.
And I get it, you know, um, but I'm sorry. Street

(16:32):
name just in and out of itself. It's one of the reasons I moved
here. Yeah, I mean,Halloween is the best time. And I
don't care who you are. Forthose of you who do not understand the
reference, we are talking about theone and the only obe. So why
don't we Why don't we talk aboutHalloween and its origins and all that since

(16:56):
we have you, Genevieve here, since you are a master of all that
stuff, So let's talk about us, say Hallow's Eve or so in or
however you want to whatever you wantto call it at this point. So
I'll let you take the floor. So one of my favorite things is the
legend of Stingy Jack, which ishow we got jack o lanterns. Do
you know that one? Yes,But I also know that there's a part

(17:22):
of that story that you tell yoursand I'll tell mine. How about that?
Okay? Okay? So the legendthat i'm that I know of dates
back to Ireland and there was aman called Stingy Jack, and true to
his name, he didn't like topay for things. He met up with
the devil. The devil was goingto take his soul, so he talked
the devil into going to get drinkswith him. So they go to a

(17:44):
tavern. They have some drinks, and he thought, he said to the
devil, it would be great ifyou turn yourself into a coin and we
trick the bartender and use the cointo pay the bartender. Then we don't
have to pay anybody. So thedevil turns himself into a coin. Stingy
Jack puts the coin in his pocketnext to a silver cross. So the
devil's now trapped in the coin.So then they leave the bar. He

(18:08):
releases him, He says, Iwill release you. He says to the
devil, I will release you ifyou leave if you leave me alone for
a year and a day, Sohe releases him. A year and a
day goes by, Stingy Jack meetsup with the devil again. This time,
he tricks the devil to go upinto a tree and places across at
the bottom of the tree. Finally, he says to the devil, I

(18:30):
will let you down if you promiseyou will never take my soul. So
the devil said, okay, fine, he gets released again. Years go
by, Stingy Jack passes away. Now he can't get into heaven because he's
been such a miserable human being, and you can't get into hell because the
devil doesn't want The devil made apact with him. He can't go into

(18:52):
hell, so the devil threw himsome coals from hell. He hollowed out
a lantern which we now know asthe Jack lantern, and he uses that
to light his way because he's inthe in the darkness and the in between
between heaven and hell. So that'show we get tackle interns. And now,
to go back to a older story, we real quick, real quick

(19:19):
though they're not They were not pumpkinsat the time they're turning right, they're
right, um. And that's theway I learned it. Your your pagan
culture for Halloween or so on,is the same way is that they used
to. Actually the witches are thepeople that celebrated this holiday would try and
have a clearing somewhere where people hadto walk through the woods to get to

(19:40):
there. Are they trying to verysecluded area where people couldn't get too easily.
So what they would do is theywould take their gourds, their turn
ups. They're any type of largething that they could hollow out, and
they would actually make these scary facesand fill them with light and and hang
them in trees. That's the samething as like they would take him may
um what are they called wind chimesout of wood so that they would smack

(20:06):
each other and make noises like bonesbreaking and stuff like that, and they
would hang them from the trees. So that's where I know that it came
from, was from the peg andcelebration. They would just put them out
there to keep the demons away andpeople that were not wanting from the celebrations.
I'll take them all, I'll takethem all that. Yeah, So

(20:30):
and that just it's just recent thatwe started using pumpkins. And I think
it was because it was orange andit was big, you know, and
people wanted, you know, andthey were their natives. I think they're
native to North America. So whenpeople started coming here and celebrating Halloween here,
they use pumpkins instead of turnups.I've carved a turn up. It
is not easy. It is noteasy. Well it's not. It's not

(20:55):
easy with your squash either, becauseyou can do it with all types of
gourds and it's very hard to do. Yeah, I had like a dremmal
and I was trying to dig outthe turn up to make it big enough
to put a candle in there. And and that's amazing. If you don't
make it big enough, the turnup starts to cook inside. Wait what
you got the candle? You have? Like the little candle in there.

(21:22):
But I try to do it everyyear, all right, I will stick
with my pumpkins. They're much easier. They are much plus, you know,
with your pumpkins. I mean,if you get enough of them,
and they're fairly cheat they're five bucksyou or something like that, so you
know, people like to uh umuse them as well for their pumpkin pies

(21:44):
and their their breads and stuff.Different pumpkins though, pumpkin seeds pumpkin seeds.
Yes, you can use the pumpkinsfrom your pumpkin seeds from the one
that you're digging out. But theother pumpkins that I use for my pumpkin
pies or stuff are just smaller pumpkinsthat you know, I nins. Oh
yeah, yeah, sorry, I'mhungry. I was just talking for four
hours. Now, sat chatty, where is it? I don't think Jack

(22:15):
can find a way home. Ohwhat does that mean? I'll get you
as you're eating. It's fine, just like any good waitress. I was
terrible at that when I was awaitress. I got them every time.
M hm. So it is umum chicken breath. Nice. Oh that's

(22:45):
cool. What does it say paratalk radio? Very cool? Anyway,
So my son is at his friend'shouse and decides to call me and tell
me. Now, yes, Iremember that. I love it so much.
It's a good carving. Yes,Bill go rewatch. Yes, yes,

(23:07):
yeah, they're the uh you canget them from anywhere. Basically,
they're just it's a hollowed out Yeah, they're the funkins. I think they're
called. Yeah, you just cutout the bottom, you know, and
you can get them at Michael's orJoanne Fabrics. Yeah, and carve your
own stuff and you never have toworry about somebody smashing your pumpkin because they
ain't real. Hi, Gary mightaround my front porch right now. I'm

(23:34):
a little nervous. Well, wehaven't we haven't done ours yet, we
haven't set up anything yet. HelloAnthony Seminelli. He um, Hello Brett
Slack from all the way over inthe UK. Oh Hi Brett, Hey
Brett. So Um. I hadjust bought in the large six foot um

(23:57):
stay puff marshmallow Man and he's holdinga pumpkin that says uh Ghostbusters logo in
it. I just got that tostick on the front yard. And then
my mom has a really big blackcat. Are the blow up ones?
I love? That is the marshmallowmanna blow up? Yes? Why that's

(24:18):
the best night. Yeah, yep, But Teddy, did you hear what
I said? No? What?Oh? Yeah, you had to go
get I may have to go getjat Okay, maybe gone for about fifteen
minutes. Okay, well I'm sureI can handle it. Not that I
want to leave. But yeah,so, um, Halloween for you.

(24:44):
Let's let's get into it a littlefarther. So Halloween for you is what
Miss geneteve so one of one ofmy favorite things about Halloween. I mean,
like I'm not kidding when I say, like we live this all year
around. My house is always decoratedfor Halloween. But um, like now
it's like the time of year workeverybody else, Like you can just easily
access the Halloween things around and they'reso early. Everybody so early with their

(25:07):
stuff thought too. And I thinkthat's gotten a little bit less important for
me because like I used to goto the Halloween stores and like stock up
my stuff for the year. Nowyou don't really have to because you got
Amazon and things like that. It'snot as good at him. But um,
for me, Halloween, I lovethe fact that it is the time
where the veil between the world is. Then you can hang out with your

(25:30):
ancestors a little bit easier. Youcan have those you know, you see
those shadows quite a bit, youhear those little whispers a little bit more.
It's funny in the next room whenyou know nobody's there in the how
it's with you. I have tosay this because when you said that,
all I could think of is whatwe Do in the Shadows. I love
that show. Are you caught upwith this season? Yeah? Not caught

(25:56):
up yet. Don't say nothing yet. I'm not caught up. What is
this? Tell me about what itis? Though, it's it's vampire mockumentary.
Yes, and it's very funny,it's hilarious, it's stupid. Where
do you Where do I find it? It's on Yeah, it's also on
Netflix. Yeah, okay, weneed to watch Jill's dunk get or started.
I will talk about it for hours. I want to be Nadia Na.

(26:21):
Yeah. What is it called?A little bit? What we do?
What we do in the Shadows?Yes, it's even funnier for me
right now because this um the showis set in Staten Island, which we
can see if we walk down tothe a couple of blocks down the waterfront
by my house, we can seeStaten Island from there. So it's like

(26:42):
this nice like like maybe there's atfacts in Hulu. Oh so it's not
on Netflix. The movie might be. There's there's an original movie, might
be. Yeah, you will, you will? It is really funny.
Yeah, Yeah. Some of it'svery stupid though. I mean they have

(27:02):
a vampire that's the energy draining vampire. He's not like a real vampire,
and he kills me, he destroysme. Colin Robinson, Yeah, he
was in the office too, thatactor. Yeah, the movie was good
too, you're right, Eric, movie was great. What Giarmo. God,

(27:30):
it's just I don't want to ruinit for you, but it's funny.
As much as I want to bea vampire, i'd end up playing
him if I ever, because somebodylooking at me and go, that's what
you're playing. And they've they've gotthe werewolf and the vampire rivalry that they
bring up throughout it, which isalways hilarious. I like where they just
turned into a bat and fly awayfor some stupid reason. Remember when they

(27:51):
got caught up the one got caughtin the freaking veterinarian hospital in the cage.
Jtty, we don't know this,Okay, all right, I'm sorry,
it's funny. Watch it and letme know what you think. Well,
but if it's on um if it'snot on Netflix, and we'll be
able to and they're saying it's onum Ffax and Hulu I don't have either

(28:14):
of those. Sorry. Sorry,we can do a watch party if you
want, right, I'll have tofigure it out. I'll have to find
out where I can get hat packsa little bit saying Cindy, Cindy,
Cindy, Cindy, Hi, alittle bit, him a little bit.
I don't see her on here.Yeah, I know she's over on the

(28:37):
other page. But Kenny Biddle isthere as well. Hello, Kenny,
Hi, Kenny. So you knowCindy. For you, what is Halloween?
Salin? You want to elaborate,Well, Halloween is um and it
and I need you a nunc eightagain, it's Halloween. It is not

(29:03):
Hallowween. It's Halloween because it's allHallow's Eve. It is not hallow Eve.
Hallo. I mean, I'm inJersey, it's Halloween. It drives
my kids. My kids are like, you're saying it wrong. I'm like,
oh no, it's all Hallo's Eves, so therefore it's Halloween. I

(29:25):
think it's just because of the wayWesterners talk. That's the way it came
about, right, But those ofus, I mean, it's correct grammar
nazis yeah, what what is it? Um? What is it about?
Salan that that that you like,So, Salin, I'm I know who

(29:48):
do not know? That is apagan holiday and it looks like cm hayne
s a n h a I nA lot of people say that too.
It is they do you always No, those motherfuckers that don't know what the
fuck they're talking about. We've beenlive a whole thirty minutes. That's the

(30:10):
first time she swore so far.Yeah, so uh yeah. Seen is
how it's pronounced, and it isthe it and a lot of times it
is supposed to be on October thirtyfirst, but true Selwen is approximately about
like November seventh. Um, thatis the midpoint. That's the midpoint,

(30:37):
the mid point between and now Igotta get stuff up in my thing.
Um. It is the midpoint betweenuh winter solstice and uh the fall equinox.
M Anyway, Sawen is the uhthe witches new year. So it

(31:02):
is when we turn our whole calendarstarts a new and uh, it is
when we can feast with our dead. We can communicate with the dead.
I'm glad you feast on. Yes, that could have gotten really ugly.

(31:22):
Really, that could be really scarycannibalism, and it's fineest friends. Uh
what did I just do with myOh I'm like, what did I just
do with my phone? Anyway?Uh? Yeah, So it's a pretty
big it's a pretty big UM holiday. It's a high holiday for us that
are pagans and witches. UM.We do a lot of work, especially

(31:49):
UM trying to help souls pass crossoverUM. We also share UM. One
of the things that we like todo is to invite our family members that
have passed, and we set atable a place setting for our loved ones

(32:12):
that have passed, and so thatthey know and understand that they are remembered
all times. But we are makinga concerted effort to make sure that they
know and understand that they are there. It's almost like Diade la morte,
where the day of the Dead, where they go and honor they're dead by
giving them food and stuff like that. And we do the same thing.
We do put food on the plate. And so then after our festivities are

(32:38):
over for the night, we makesure and we go and take it outside
and make sure that we are honoringyou know, those around us, whether
it be animals or the Goddess andGod whatever. I have my special plate
that is for ancestor dinner every year. I love that so much. Yes,
well, for us it's the samedeal. It's a it's a pagan

(33:00):
cultured holiday. Um. We celebrateit in many ways. We remember the
past by lighting a candle for thosethat um have gone, you know that
a're not here any longer. Um. We try to UM also look at
that as our new year. Imean we take that as it's time for

(33:22):
us to look ahead, look forwardand right. And so there's a lot
of celebration for you know who haspassed. But we do set the table
and any the leftovers actually get carriedto the four corners and they are put
um at an eastern corner for thosebecause it said that the dead will pass

(33:43):
through there to go to the nextum, to the next level and next
place, and UM, they needfood to stay satisfied to get there,
so we put it at the corner. And we always equate food with love,
right, I know, I nowonder we're all fucking overweight. I
mean rooms I've loved. And Kennyvillejust says, actually Sewen is pronounced sah

(34:19):
when sah like sup, but notas you as a So yeah, we
do know. So it's funny becauseevery culture, whether it be Irish or
Scottish or any any of them thatare rooted in paganism, they really do
celebrate the same style things. I'veheard stories over the years of um of

(34:40):
what they do. And you know, do you know that birthday is blowing
out the candles on your birthday isalso a pagan tradition. Yeah, And
you're not supposed to blow them out, You're supposed to snuff them out because
when you blow them out, you'reblowing away your wish. And not only
that, but who wants to blowon candles? And during COVID, I
mean we're not eating that cake.Sorry. Yeah, and make sure that

(35:06):
you don't have a mouth full ofmoonshine. Listen. I remember having a
mouthfull of moonshine at Paratok Radio studios, Yes, at the studio, and
it was disgust. It's ross.Yes, I've never had moonshine before in

(35:27):
my life. And what was itcalled, like apple pie or something?
Apple pie? Moonshine? I justmade some last week. It's alive.
You did not taste like apple pie, but my mouth on fire. That
made me even Another another thing withHalloween is bobbing for apples was supposed to
um that whole fun game that everybodydoes. And you're supposed to signify life

(35:51):
over death. Right you were youbob for apples, Now you're bobbing for
Corona. Yeah listen, not onCorona. I'll take it with lime con.
Yes, we I mean we couldmake a vat of Corona. M
but you know some of the othersome of the other things like we have

(36:15):
a we have a really good friendwe haven't spoke to in almost a year.
We gotta get him on the show. But um mungie, and he
has his own thing with with withHalloween as well. I mean, his
whole name is it's pretty Hello CurlyHall, Hello Curly Um it's very it's

(36:37):
very disgusting, um definition for hisname. But it's something that for Halloween
it fits right in you know,Um nowadays, what does that mean?
Blowing a cake is bad these days? Think about it, COVID. That's
what Genevieve said, blowing out thecandles. No, we still do in

(36:58):
family, but you know, skeletonsand then you can get into voodoo where
they use the coffin nails and theyuse all of these things for voodoo and
hood and all of the different youknow, made some protection jars with oh,
with coffins and stuff like that.Oh yeah, defensive magic. Thank

on work. But um, yeah, definitely, I'm trying to get Jillian

Cookster. Yeah. I did anevent on Saturday nights called Sybil's Birthday Party,

(38:30):
which is for his stuff is fora historic Pomira and um, I
do readings and we we do umreadings, and there's heard of me,
there's food, and then they doa group reading. It's a it's a
lot of fun. Um. Igot a message for Genevieve. I'm so

(38:52):
excited. Genevieve really needs to go. I would love to meet her by
Carly Hall. Oh cool. Yeah, Curly also says ted and sind you
both look stunning as always. Oh, thank you so much. I know,
I know I look good. Damnit, I know. I I

(39:12):
just heard a knacho for a secondthere when you were talking. Teddy.
Yeah, you can't help it.I mean every once in a while it
does happen, because I don't usuallyhear one sin. Did you get busy
or like? Do you get more? Um, I'm trying, do you
get more? I think everybody that'ssensitive in any way shape because the veil

(39:34):
gets so thick. There's so muchcrossover. It's me. What did I
say, thick thick? Sorry, brings on something else? Um? I
know, no, Look, it'sright there for you too, motor boat.
Not not a chance in hell,it's so ready for you, Teddy.

(39:59):
Not a chance. I'll eat mymy almond joy. So I like
a little bit. Hello, Tammyand neck. I think that's how you
say her name. Um and CarlyHall she's laughing. She goes get so
thick. Lol, I meant then, yeah, So yes, I get

(40:25):
busier. I guess I get busiernow going into the season. It usually
starts in August, goes through Septemberto August. Yeah, I'm noticing lately
it feels like around August, likethe first week of August, it starts
to shift. It's funny because itused to feel that way, even like

(40:46):
the third week of August. ButI agree it has been getting the last
two years especially. I can feelit like thinning sooner than it normally would
be. Yeah, there's times whenI wake up and I'm like, it's
Halloween time. I always it's Ismell it, I feel it. Comment

(41:06):
from Carly again, I agree, though I always have more protection and grounding
the closer we get to so on. Yeah, Sin Sawin. Yes,
mounds don't, thanks, Barry.Mounds don't because I ate they have the
almonds. Oh you are a guy. Nuts mounds don't. Ye, So

(41:27):
you know, let's listen sometimes youdon't. So let's get in to some
more creepy stuff. Let's get intolike, let's talk about your poets,
because baby, you and I havea love for a certain poet. Oh
are you talking about Uncle leg?Oh? You know I love him so

(41:51):
much. M hm Um. Ihave his signature tattooed on my wrist.
I don't know if even can yousee what? Yeah? Um? A
few years ago I entered a writingcontest, and I told myself that if
I placed in the contest that Iwould get his um thing that your tattooed
on my wrist so that it wouldremind me to write, Oh my god,

(42:12):
that's amazing. So it's like rightacross my arm. That's hysterical.
I love it so much. Itdoesn't really remind me that much. I
don't. I don't make as muchtime for it as I should. But
I mean, in all honesty,I'm really busy telling stories, not necessarily
writing them. But yes, UncleEdgar, his um. The anniversary of
his death was this past Thursday.I didn't know that, and his death

(42:35):
is still an unsolved mystery. Whatnow I need to go learn about all.
I'll tell you everything you need toknow about Edgar right now, because
I never heard about his death.Okay, October third, eighteen forty nine,
Edgar Ellanpoe was found outside of abar in Baltimore. He wasn't supposed
to be in Baltimore. He alsowas not wearing his clothes. He wasn't

(42:59):
wearing his own clothing. It wassomebody else's. He was delirious and he
never quite regained his right mind.October October seventh, he passed away,
and he, um, that's myniece's birthday, by the way, Oh
really, yes, October seventh ismy niece's birthday. Supposedly, his last

(43:20):
words were Lord, help my polmy poor soul. We don't know that
that's true. Um, but heno one knows exactly why they did.
That's why he died. They saidit was congestion of the brain, which
was a fancy word for alcoholism.Oh, alcoholism, But still nobody knows.
I'm echoing. Can you hear meecchoing? Oh? I didn't it

(43:45):
shouldn't now Is that better? Yeah? No, I'm still a going I
don't hear it. Hang on onesecond, keep okay, go ahead,
okay. So um. After hepassed away, only seven people attended his
funeral, which is like absurd becausehe was a pretty well known writer.

(44:07):
His arch rival Rufus Wilmot Griswold wrotehis obituary, and what he wrote just
was total defamation of character. Itwas talking about him being an alcoholic and
a drug addict, and that hewas a maniac and all of this stuff
in a very fancy way he wroteit. But the reason why a lot
of people think that he is thathe was an alcoholic or a drug addict

(44:30):
today is because of what Griswold wrote. Did I missed something? What did
Griswold write? He wrote Edgar AllenPoe's obituary, and he claimed to be
his literary executor, so he assumedresponsibility for all of his work. But
they were rivals. They were competingfor the same woman. There was a
whole bunch of like professional rivalry. So the cool thing about it is that

(44:54):
Poe has this awesome monument in Baltimorewhere he's buried with his wife and his
mother in law. Griswold is buriedin unmarked grave in Brooklyn. So I
think Poe won in the end.Wow, that's crazy. But they still
don't know what exactly why he died. There's theories of people thought it was

(45:14):
rabies, m a brain tumor, drug overdose, cholera. They also suspect
that it could be what was calledcooping. Who cooping was he was found
on an election day, so coopingwas a practice that was done back then
where these not so great politicians wouldactually have people kidnap people and send them

(45:39):
the different voting booths. Yes,I remember hearing that part of it because
I'm I mean, I'm an electionOh yeah myself, So I remembered hearing
that part of it because they wouldsteal people and take them out of their
jurisdiction, so they yeah, boatswouldn't count yep. And then um,

(46:02):
they think that that was a reallyplausible theory because he um was not wearing
his own clothing, and he wasknown for being like very impeccable when he
like, very nicely dressed, eventhough he didn't have a lot of money,
So it was odd for him tobe found like all disheveled that way.
So real quick, I googled acouple of things here. Um.

(46:22):
One of the claims that Griswold hadon here, and it says among the
last requests of mister Poe was thathe became his is that Poe would become
Griswold, his literary executor, forthe benefit of his family. Uh huh,
the benefit of his family. Itwas in his family, then,

(46:44):
how would this guy know? Oh, I had a hand here. Here,
here's more, here's more. Itsays the most the most prominent is
that he died from complications of alcoholism. He did. The doctor who saw
Poe in the in the tavern believedthat Poe had been drinking heavily and that
he ultimately succumbed to the tremors anddelirium that that accompanies alcohol withdrawal DTS.

(47:12):
And he was forty years old whenhe died, Yeah, he was forty.
Twenty six years after he died, his body was exhumed and they moved
it in Westminster Burial Ground. Theymoved it from the spot where he was
to the new spot where they havethis beautiful monument. When they did that,
there was witnesses that said that theysaw his brain still in his skull,

(47:37):
which after twenty six years should nothave been seen now. So it
was thought that he had a braintumor that had calcified, and that's what
they saw. Well, how wouldthey have seen through his skull though they
exhumed him, but unless there wasways like if there was a sawt role

(48:00):
out of his skull. H Grody. I was trying not to get two
graphic on you, but I'm finewith that. I don't know. That's
weird though. Yeah, and thenfor decades there was the Poe toaster,
so there was I believe it wasa man that would go to a girl

(48:22):
and Poe's grave on his birthday andtoast him and leave cognac and three red
roses, and no one ever foundout who it was. Maybe the person
who killed him. No, thisis like in the in the nineteen I
was gonna say the nineteen hundreds, because we are in the two thousand.
That's a century. I meant likelike nineteen sixty, like like that around

(48:45):
that time. Interesting, but itis the nineteen hundreds. It is the
nineteen hundreds. It sounds so oldit's hysterical because my children would be like,
you know, back in the nineteenhundreds. I'm like, uh,
you mean when Jessica and I wereborn. Your sister and your mother are

(49:05):
like those nineteen nine olden days, the olden days, the olden days.
Yeah, it's funny because if youthink about it, now, two hundred
years ago is only eighteen twenty one. It's not cole Cindy not cool.
Before when I said two hundred yearsago, and I was talking about the
year I was born, it wouldbe seventeen seventy one. However, we

(49:30):
have to add fifty on to thatnow and it's now eighteen twenty one.
Yeah. I'm looking to see ifI can actually find the real a bit,
but that's actually pretty hard to findthe what the obituary format? I
haven't all you do? Oh please, let's let's go. I have it.

(49:52):
I have a bookmark. Oh mygod, you freaking rock. I
love you so much. I'm insane. Okay, now, so I found
it. I got it. Okay, would you mind reading it? It's
long, but I'll read some ofit. Aglapo died in Baltimore on Sunday

(50:15):
last His was one of the veryfew original minds that this country has produced
in the history of literature. Hewill hold a certain position in a high
place by the public of the day. He is regarded rather with curiosity than
with admiration. Many will be startled, but few will be grieved by the
news. He had very few friends, and he was the friend of very
few, if any, But hischaracter and adventures were too remarkable and his

(50:37):
literary merits too indubitable to pass fromthe stage. With the simple announcement already
given, then it goes into abunch of stuff about his his family,
he went, he went into WestPoint, and a bunch of stuff about
that. What he went to WestPoint? That's amazing he did. I'm
trying to like scroll up my screen, M love phil Amina, looking for

(51:01):
the the part where they talk abouthis he was um. He was a
literary critic for a long for awhile, and he was apparently like a
really brilliant critic, which made hima lot of enemies at the same time.
M. Of course it would, because nobody wants to be on the

(51:21):
bed end. I know that atone point there was something said that that
his writing was kind of a crossof satire and UM, what's the other
word I'm looking for UM, I'mscrolling through it flew out of my head,

(51:45):
tire And he did have UM.He wrote a lot about um stories
that actually happened. He just kindof like extrapolated on them. The story
of Marie Roge actually happened in Hoboken, New Jersey. It was a story

(52:05):
of Mary Rogers who was a cigargirl and she disappeared her murder. They
found her dead, and her murderwas not like it was just this big,
huge scandal. They thought that herboss had killed her and stuff.
But he based that on that story, like he did a lot of things
that were based on I'm fact, yeah, wow, we do have a
story in our on our Keypoork GhostTour that I try to stretch it to

(52:27):
be related to Paul a little bit, but it's the Pirate. Captain Kidd
was well known in this in theBay Shore area in New Jersey, and
he's got some treasure supposedly stashed ina lake not too far from here.
The story The gold Bug was basedon Captain Kid's treasure and not being found.

(52:50):
So I'm like, well, we'vegot Captain Kid's treasure here, so
maybe Poe was influenced by something here. But he's an interesting Captain Kids an
interesting ghost because people see him andhe talks to them and tells them that
he's still here. So what wow, cool, that's amazing. Can I
go see Captain Kid's ghost come anytime? By the way, By the way

(53:15):
Genevieve. Carly Hall says, Iknew I would love you. Edgar is
my favorite all time. He's wonderful. He's wonderful. YEA love his mind.
Tom says he had an apartment herein Philly. He did, and
I've been there, and actually Iwent to UM. I went to Baltimore.
We went and saw his grave. They did a reenactment of his funeral

(53:36):
a few years back. Oh,Jillian, I love it. At least
those that pass from alcoholis and willhave a well preserved liver. Oh my
god, what about Bill Davis? He said, I went to Keyport schools.
Lol. Oh really yeah. Interesting, but no one knows is Genevieve.
Genevieve is actually a ghost? Cracksme. Thompson, he was just

(54:00):
in Baltimore. Nice cool, Yeah, I do you know? Go ahead.
I did a road trip for UM. I was going to a work
conference and it was down North Carolina. So I stopped along the way in
Baltimore. I stopped in Richmond wherePoe the Poe Museum is. I stopped
in Petersburg, where Poe spent hishoneymoon, and did like all sorts of

(54:21):
Poe things on my way. Oh, that's so cute. Okay, folks,
So just so you know, Genevieveis really into Edgar Allen pop things
creepy. Yeah, yeah you are. Do you like the creepy stuff?
I do enjoy that about you.I like the creepy stuff too. Yeah.
So we have about six minutes,so I want to ask Genevieve,

(54:43):
like, are you into the horrormovies like of today? I am.
Um. One thing I have ahard time getting into is the um like
the really I like the psychological horrors. I like her creepy spooky ghost story
ones are kind of like out ofyour I mean, I don't mind them,
but it's not my favorite thing.UM. I like the like did

(55:06):
we see that in the background? Was you know? I like that?
I love that. Yeah, Ireally like I We are going to see
Halloween this weekend though, Oh areyou Holley? Where are you seeing that?
The um it's the new one HalloweenKills. I think we had a
new one. Listen. I don'tget to see a regular TV so I

(55:28):
don't know anything. Michael Myers.Michael Myers is the Goods what. I'm
not a Michael Myers guy. Imean, I really I loved Halloween,
Like that was one of them thatI saw when you know what I saw
when I was I saw Terror Trainwhen I was nine years old, and

(55:51):
you had to be so it wasrated our movies, and um, I
was it was rated our And myolder sister, Kim was only thirteen,
She was only four years older thanme, and she was the one that
took us to see the movie. It was me and my stepsister, Heidie
Harrington, and so we went allthree of us together and they actually let

(56:14):
us in with my sister who wasthirteen, being our parent. But in
this in like the early eighties, like kids looked a lot older than they
were, and I think maybe mysister just looked a little older. And
we all came out of there. My sister took off running and left us.

(56:37):
And I'm like, after seeing TerrorTrain, Um, it was.
It was scary. And you knowwho was in that movie? She was
on Halloween, Jamie Lee Curtis Andwho is that, um that magician?
Oh god, what's his name? That rightly, it was a magician that

(57:02):
was on. He was famous, but that that was like the first time
and he played a magician on inthe movie too. If I'm not mistaken.
All right, I know who you'retalking about. Magicians from the eighties.
I know, As I said,it's the only one I know.
Yeah, I'm pretty certain David Copperfieldwas in Terror Training. Wow. It

(57:29):
was. It was. It wasone of those movies you need to go
back and watch if you haven't seenit. My news. I think one
of my newest favorites is Trick orTreat. I think that's one of many
of his favorites. I think I'veI don't know if i've seen it.
It's so many. It's got likethe rules of Halloween and if you don't
follow the rules, you die.So it's okay, I mean, I

(57:50):
mean I feel like that. It'salways nice to know, just follow the
rules and you'll be fine. That'shysterical. See, it's like there's so
many new ones out and a lotof them are suspense thrillers and it's like
The Quiet Place and um, theQuiet Place too, and then there's uh

(58:13):
so many of them and I haven'tseen the majority of them. To be
honest with you, I'm my Godzilla. Stuff is so important to me and
my monsters and all that stuff. But you know, um, I really
have I do you know me,I want to see a new werewolf movie
and you don't see anything new forlisten my favorite werewolf movie. I was

(58:38):
a kid American Werewolf in London.I got to see what's his Name's ass
and I was again nine years old. Listen, key, key, time
for me to understand how much Iloved the creepy and the horror. Was
nine years old. Yes, Igot to see his ass, and I'm

(58:59):
not it's the kid that played inhe plays in Gremlins. He yes,
I was so. I was like, I was just a nine year old
kid. And the funny part wasthat I didn't know anything about sex,
nothing, you know, And Isaw this guy's ass on TV and I

(59:20):
was so excited that I saw anass. And I'm like, wow,
he is a great ass. Imean, I don't know if his stand
my standards would still be as good, but I was so excited that I
saw his ass. I was like, oh my god, I want that
ass. Oh my gosh. Butyeah, as I said earlier, I'm
a Jason fan. I've always likedJason. What's that? What did you

(59:45):
say? It was? It wasfilmed in New Jersey? Yeah? Really?
Yeah, my all time favorite wasFreddy Krueger. Oh, I do
that. I love Freddie and UMmy favorite line is um Tina saying my
name has four letters and that's toobig for your dick. On that note,

(01:00:12):
we are going to take a break. Your name something. On that
note, we're gonna take a breakand we'll be back with Genevieve. Um,
get your questions together. We're gonnatalk some more creepy and more,
more and more or whatever. Um, but we'll be right back. The
first commercial I'm going to bring upfor you, though, it's about the
prefest that's not finished. There's stillmore people to get involved, but it's
just a short one right now.I want to run for you, guys,

So I have to tell you something. I just looked up the cast

(01:05:15):
for UM Terror Train and it doessay Jimmie Lee Curtis and then David David
Copperfield, and he played the magician. But as I'm scrolling through and looking
at all these people, I seethat Vanity is in here. I kid
you not, and I remember notlook her h comparatively. But then I

(01:05:41):
thought about it. I'm like,oh, well, I guess the next
thing that I remember her being inwas, um, probably around that nineteen
eighty six time frame or No.Eighty four Purple Rain. Purple Rain.
Yeah, that's a good movie, would be. Um. Now I need
to see pictures of her now, right, So what got you into the

(01:06:06):
creepy what? What did that?I don't know. I think it's it's
just who I am. I rememberbeing a kid and my mom we would
watch like do you remember Tales fromthe Dark Side? Yeah? Yeah,
I love that show. So wewould watch we would watch that. We

(01:06:27):
would watch all sorts of creepy stuff, Like my mom loved Dark Shadows,
m and she always took Halloween veryseriously, Like we always had homemade costumes,
you know, Like she took Halloweenvery seriously. Um. So I
think some of it is from that, but some of it is just the
way. I don't know. Ifeel like for some of us it's just
the way we're wired, you know. Yeah, I mean it's I agree

(01:06:49):
with you because I'm the same way. There's just some things that I just
find. It's weird because it's it'san attractive type of thing. It's like
it just reach. I find myselfall the time when I'm going through like
stores and stuff. I'm always lookingfor the odd ball stuff. And you
know, it's like I collect skullswith different helmets on them and stuff like

(01:07:11):
that. You know. I havesome from the Roman Empire. It's just
a skull and then the Roman Empire, you know, And I like stuff
like that. You know. Peoplelike, oh, that's a little creepy.
Why do you I'm like, whynot? Why not? We all
need I mean, death is inevitable. It's gonna happen. It's like taxes,
it's always going to happen. Ididn't know Vanity was dead, you
guys. I think I knew that. I didn't realize that. I don't

(01:07:35):
remember that. But she passed awayin nineteen oh no, no, not
in the nineteen hundred and nineteen hundred, twenty sixteen. Wow, I think
I remember that. Yeah, it'sfive and a half years ago now,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, LikeI remember. I remember being a little
kid and um my dad would playwe played softball with his softball team,

(01:07:59):
and I'd go to the wings andlike push Casper on the swings and stuff
like I feel like I was justalways here. You know, Well,
Casper came out when you were akid, right, Perhaps perhaps we're not
going to talk about how old Iam. Thirty young? You look great?

(01:08:21):
Yes, I was. I thinkI may have told you the story.
I was buying cough medicine. Ithink it was about a year ago,
and the kid put my birthdate inthe computer because you know, you
have to do the birthdate now forcough medicine, and he put it in
a seventeen thirty five and I waslike, yes, how did you know?

(01:08:46):
Oh man, that's crazy, that'scrazy. You know. I don't
know about you guys, but Imean we started off the show with Halloween,
and it's like, what would beyour next favorite holiday? For me,
it's Second Halloween, which we havedecided to create. Second Halloween is

(01:09:10):
going to always be the Saturday afterHalloween. Second Halloween. Yes, okay,
And I do have a Facebook pagefor it Second Halloween, so check
it out. Cool that's hysterical. So did you ever get into the the
rubs on the tombstones? Did youever do that? I didn't do that,

(01:09:32):
um, partly because I was alwaystold not to because it impacts the
gravestone. Really. However, avery good friend of mine who I met
doing the creepy parlor which we haveto get into too. Um, she
makes gravestone um art. She hasa special casting method. Her name is
Brenda. She's from the Gravestone Girls. She has a very special casting method

(01:09:56):
that she can actually take UM castof these old gra something. I think
I have one. Yeah, lookhow cool that is? Oh wow?
Yeah, they're pretty. Oh cool. It's my friend, Yeah, my
little gravestone friend. Um. ButChris Sanders and hello Scott Sutherland. Hi

(01:10:21):
Chris and Scott. How are you? Jillian said, that's what happens when
you're born in the dark soul.Genevieve, she's not that far. She
tries to make herself out to belike she's a you know, all rainbows
and sunshine. But yes, Eric, Eric says, I say we dropped

(01:10:41):
Valentine's Day and replace it with Halloweentwo or three. I'm okay with that.
I'm okay with that. Yeah,I'm sorry, but Valentine's Day is
like a who cares just to becelebrating your loved person every day. Well,
have you guys of wolf a newtWhat that's a great holiday? No?

(01:11:03):
When so you can look it up? Um, it's this little kid.
I think he's from New Zealand.Um, and he just he decided
to make up a holiday for dogsand he called it wolf at and his
mom created a whole Facebook page aboutit. It's got like tens of thousands

(01:11:24):
of people following and practicing it.It's um, I think it's November twenty
fourth every year, and people thehell premise is to you make a cake
that looks like the moon so thatfor the dogs to howl at it.
You eat roasted meat, and yougive gifts that the great wolf Spirit gives
gifts to all people who are niceto dogs. Ah, you like everybody

(01:11:53):
should celebrate what you Yes? Yeah, oh my god. I will send
it to my niece too and shewill be all about it new favorite holiday.
Second. Second, one of myfriend's birthdays probably have several friends.
I find out that I have alot of friends with birthdays that I didn't

(01:12:14):
realize we're other people's birthdays. Soyeah, that happens. Okay, guys,
so uh Robert White Valentine's man,all right, So um, let's
let's get your questions in there.Guys. I know you there's a lot
of you in here that know herpretty well. So um, for those

(01:12:35):
of you that do not know Genevieve, Um, she's awesome. She's she's
loved um and she loves the creepy. She loves the Yeah, just everything
like Halloween, creepy, spooky maccabthat's just who she is. So let's

(01:12:57):
talk about the Creepy Parlor since wehave the most so let's talk about I
still think you should open a storeand call it the Creepy Parlor. That's
the plan. That is the ultimate. That would be amazing. Yeah.
Yeah, we just have to makesome things happen first, but that is
the ultimate plan. Um, theCreepy Parlor is for me. It's so
much fun. I love all ofthat. It was so far, such

(01:13:21):
a great venue to get in touchwith a lot of people who are like
minded. Um. And you findtoo that people that have this dark side,
like we are pretty fun about it. Right, It's fine. They
look Normalie, you know, Imean everybody associates like, you know,

(01:13:45):
you're goffy. We're black. Allthe time. You listen to music and
they think like you're depressed or something, and it's like, it's not sure,
it's fun, it's happy. Itmakes me happy. I love my
black clothes. I was. Itotally love grunge. I loved the I
loved my goth days though too.Yes, we will get to that by

(01:14:06):
my goth days have never ended.Day. The day I first saw The
Cure, A Cure videos like, that's it, this is who I am
now, Christie, I got Christie'sI'm back. I love the Cure,
Welcome back, Christie Boys so best. God damn, I love that.

(01:14:30):
I just heard it was out ofnowhere. I just heard somebody singing that
on a show or something. Iwas like, oh, that's got some
of the best music. I lovedpunk music, and punk music always had
that like that dark melojo. LostBoys, The Lost Boys had so many
really good tunes. Oh yeah,Lost Boys was awesome. The movie was

(01:14:51):
fantastic. It's literally that on VHSin my kitchen. Eyes it in your
kitchen, because that's where when everybodykeeps their VHS tapes. No, we
don't. I like you have anextra thing drawer in there. I like

(01:15:13):
Eric Harrison's comment there, don't confuseGod with EMO. That's true. Don't
just don't just don't. Emo camea lot later, so shut up,
Yes it did. Um Emo isdifferent. Emo is different than God's different.
But but so the punk went intogoth, went into punk into post

(01:15:40):
punk, and then and there's somesome goth stuff started around the same time.
Yeah, I like called punk.Lou read okay, so so punk,
I don't think, so okay.So Christie said to Cindy what the
hell is VHS? And then well, just kidding, it's something from the

(01:16:03):
nineteen hundred. I'll be right back. I'll be right back. Wow,
that's crazy. Yeah. You know. The thing is is like I still
have some of the old vhs layingaround, but it's mostly it's because of

(01:16:23):
the Godzilla stuff, Like those areall vhs back there because of collectibles.
Yeah, you have to have them, and you know, but the after
twenty years they say that the magnetismfor the stories start to to go away,
but it's still just it's still justcool to have what's your can I
ask, I'm gonna interview you now, um, okay, what was your

(01:16:46):
first thing with Godzilla? Like? What made you like? What made that
click for you? I think Idon't remember my earliest recollection, but I
do have like these. I wantto call them flashbacks, because it's like
when you know, how when yousit down and you think about your like

(01:17:06):
you try to figure out what youremember about being a kid and stuff like
the I remember sitting down like ona he was either a Saturday afternoon or
a Sunday afternoon, and watching thisbig dinosaur just beating the hell out of
everybody, and I thought, holyshit, that's cool, you know.
And and it was just even thoughit was corny, and you know,

(01:17:30):
all through my teen you know,it's like, yeah, it's a guy
in a suit, blah blah blahand all this stuff. But for me,
it was just it's the imagination.I mean, there's so many parts
about our life growing up as akid that we had to use our imagination.
And today, not to piss anybodyoff, but look at the kids
today, what do they do.They sit in front of a computer and
most of them don't have an imagination, you know, they have no idea.

(01:17:53):
But you know, it's like it'sI just thought it was cool.
That was my dinosaur days. Howlike kids grew up on me like dinosaurs,
and it's like that was my dinosaurday. It just never left.
It's still here. Yeah, youknow, it just never went away.
But here's one for you, wegiaboards. Look. Yeah, so see

(01:18:20):
no so for so for like me, I mean, that was another fatuation
when I was younger. It wasspirit communication and it's always been a part
of my life. So you know, I did there as much research as
I could on the wegia board becauseI wanted to know what the hell I
was hearing, seeing, feeling, you know what I mean. And so

(01:18:43):
I get into that as well.I mean I had when it was two
hundred and fifty years old. Itwas hand carved, you know, and
I forgot to take it out ofthe trunk of my car and my car
went to the dump and it wentand that was in the back. I
forgot to take it out and gotit crunched that yeah, crunched. Oh

(01:19:06):
my god. Oh I love thatmovie. So there you go, Christy,
That's one of the favorite movies ever. Okay, Now, now,
Reddy, you don't mine is sayanything? Oh I love seeing anything too.
Look at this boom Disney videos.Do you know I could get some

(01:19:28):
money off of these things? Lookat this? Whoop? I got so
many of these Disney movies. UmChristy did say. I'm kidding. I'm
old enough to remember. Beta DataData video was the smaller version of this.
But look at this. Here's thelast Boys. How gorgeous they are?
I know it for fuck's sake.Look at that keep for Sutherland.

(01:19:54):
He was in one of my favoritemovies, Billy Worth. Right there,
Boom boo boo Billy Worth. UmChristie's like, yay Disney m Do you
remember the movie that they were thatKiefer was in when they basically they all
killed each other? Yes, yes, yes, awesome. It was such

(01:20:15):
a good movie. It was sucha good movie. They read it that
too. Yeah, but who wantsto watch or watch it? Remakes that
they do shitty ass jobs on it? Couldn't even the sugar night Nightmare before
whatever nightmare, here's one for you. I've watched dinosaurs beat the hell out

(01:20:39):
of everyone in bars most of mylife. Now when I go into a
bar, I'm the dinosaur. Ihave so many Disney movies. Here's my
favorite? Which one? Cinderella?Cinderella because I'm Cinderella. My favorite Disney

(01:21:00):
movie? Isn't that Mobe for Christmas? Of course? Yeah, you'll never
guess what mine is. Come on, girls, I will each give you
two guesses. The Land before Time? That Disney? Sure, I'm pretty
sure. I don't think. Idon't think it's Disney. No, Beauty

(01:21:21):
and the Beast. No, youjust used up your two, so you're
done. Cindy can't even think ofany Peter Pan No, ready for it?
Are you ready for it? Areyou ready? I'll give you a
line, give you a line fromthe movie which you're ready? I don't

(01:21:45):
think. Hey, do we askfor this lunch to go? No?
Why? Because there it goes? Why don't we just eat what's lying around?
Sandwich us? Now? I rememberthat a Dragon? I love Peace
Dragon was fantastic. I was gonnabring Pete Dragon. I remember Pete Dragon.

(01:22:11):
One of our friends was in thatmovie. Who Really He played the
voice of the boy who. Oh, let me give you a hand.
I know, I know Rusty gilliganO. Yeah, that's cool, it's
did you say it? Just now? Yeah? Rusty Gilligant. Yes,

(01:22:32):
Christie said, Princess and the Frog. Then I love listen my daughter,
she cried, there is a fewthat. So Jesse and I were watching
movies and it was so funny thethings that when Jesse was little, like

(01:22:55):
we'd watch it one time through. In the second time we watched Box in
the house, she started cry likeshe burst out, crying hysterically, like
mama left the bed. No,I can't handle it. Any animal things
I can't handle I cried. Mygodsons into one one Dalmatians. Yeah,

(01:23:18):
Jesse could not handle the fact thatthe mama left the baby fox at the
game preserve so it would be safe. She just cry. There's one you
don't hear about very often. Well, listen, they don't. We can't
see it. We haven't been ableto see it. It was never released
from the eighties till present because ofall of the racist bullshit that's in there.

(01:23:42):
I want to see it. Idon't think i've seen it since I
was a little kid. Yeah, let's talk about this for a minute.
I had no idea that Elvira.Nobody did, nobody I know. She
just came out not that long ago. She wrote a book and everything.
I love it, not to mamam. I love that That series was awesome.

(01:24:05):
Yeah, oh yeah, I can'thandle the animals. Yep. He
played in a little house in theprairie as well. He played a little
blond kid that was in the frontrow of the school. Every time they
pay to the school, there wasa little blanket sitting up front. I
love that show so much when Iwas a kid. Yeah, and before

(01:24:29):
time was rough. That was thatwas a cry. Okay, So which
one of you girls, n didall of you see Old Yellow? Oh
god? Yeah, he can't talkabout it. Yeah, okay, okay,
I just want to make sure becausethat's one that I think everybody prizing.
Everybody. Yeah, I still,I know, I can't. Sorry,

(01:24:50):
we ate. Below is one ofmy favorites though too. Eight below
that's with all the the Huskies andthe oh yes, yeah, yes,
I think I took Jill to seethat in the theater. Yeah. Yeahs.

(01:25:13):
I have never seen and I've neverread the book. Roger Rabbit.
All right, we gotta get offof Disney here, come on, yes
to us we went. We wentfrom Disney to you know we were Yes,
you did, and I summed youguys remember that, um what's her
name started um on Disney. JodyFoster started out Disney and she was in

(01:25:42):
uh, what is it called whichMountain or something? There was an then
there was returned to which Mountain? That's right, and then there's the new
ones that the Rock did, whichwas rich Mountain. Which mountain? Yeah?
Really? Yeah? He read ithim. Yeah, um, but

(01:26:03):
you know what I'm thinking? Shesaid, Yes, Christy, I do
remember the Flight of the Navigator.Do you remember that? Yep, Flight
on the Navigator. Guess we can'ttalk about Nope. Coujo was so scary.
Oh my god. There's next there'sa website I think it's called does

(01:26:24):
the Dog Die where you can actuallylook up movies and see if there's like
an animal that dies in the movie, so you don't have to and see.
I was big into that stuff, like Lassie. We used to watch
Lassie when we were a kid.Yeah. Remember um, And there's the
new series with the Turner and hooch. Oh really there's a new serirand new

(01:26:45):
series. Yeah I did not knowthat. Yeah. Yeah, So Coujo
was a rabbit dog rabbit. That'sa rough one, very chary. Let's
let's let's let's get out of that. Let's get out of that and talk
about the headless horseman. Yes,yes, so, um, I have

(01:27:12):
much to say about the headless Okay, well we'll let you take the floor.
Then, my God, go forit. We don't live very we
live about an hour New York.Um. They do such an amazing job
for Halloween. They have, umthe the name of it is is escaping
me right now. But there's there'sa manor house that it's an old seventeen

(01:27:34):
hundreds manor house, and it isspectacular. They have like lighted pathways through
the forest and they have storytellers stationedall throughout the pathway. And then you
get to the end and there's aman on a black horse with no head.
But where where a sleepy hollow?Like is it on Long Island or

(01:27:57):
is it Terrytown? So it's rightby Oh yeah, I know where Terrytown
is. Yep, I know rightwhere Terrytown is. Terrytown. I had
dreams about weirdly, you know, yeah, weird things. Really. Yeah,
we had some weird experiences there. But another time I can remember having

(01:28:19):
a dream and it was weird becauseI was I had my daughter or no,
maybe I was pregnant. I can'tremember. Um, I had this
dream about Jessica and I being inmy little Sunbird and she was in the
backseat in her car seat. Soshe was born. Um, she was
in her car seat and we wereborn, and all of a sudden,

(01:28:42):
water comes over the bridge and weare trying to trying to get across this
bridge, and this bridge is Idon't know if we're crashed. I don't
know what's happening. And I sowe have a bridge that has water underneath
it, not so close that itcould come over it. But I'm like,
yeah, it's not the Bay Bridge. It's not the Bay Bridge.

(01:29:06):
So I always wondered where it was. I took a trip to Um,
I listen, I have been anddriven down the keys and stuff. I'm
like, oh, this is kindof similar to my dream. However,
it's not like all the causeways thatI went over in Florida. They never

(01:29:27):
were right. I'm going down tosee a guy who, Um, listen,
I can have a guy that isjust a booty call. It's fine.
He was in a band. Hewas in a band, but he
lived in Long Island. So Iwas going to his house. Yes,
I was very special that I gotto go to his house whatever, and

(01:29:50):
I was in all of his littleparts. Whatever. It's fine anyway.
So I'm driving and there's this goddamnbridge into you go down and it goes
into Terrytown and stuff, and I'mtelling you, that is the goddamn bridge
that I drug of, and itfreaked me out, like it's I've never

(01:30:13):
had a moment of panic the wayI've had on that bridge. I literally
felt like I was dying with otherpeople. So I don't know if there's
ever been a bridge incident. Ihave never dared to look it up because
I don't want to know. I'venever had so much panic in my life

(01:30:35):
trying to get over that bridge asI was going to Long Island. Yeah,
it's a very scary bridge, andit's probably one of the reasons why
we don't go to Sleepy Hollows oftenis because of that bridge. Yeah,
it's so scary, dude. Iwas terrified, and I'm like, oh
my god, here's that fucking bridge. My daughter was a baby. I

(01:30:56):
mean, this is a thirty yearold dream and it still affects me.
And it was she was she waslet's see how old would she have been
when I was That would have beenlike late nineties, the nineteen hundreds.
In the nineteen hundreds I had secks. Okay, so we need to change

(01:31:17):
the subject. So yeah, SleepyHollow is fantastic. Washington Irving is still
buried there. Um. They dothe coolest thing that they do. They
have the old Dutch Reformed church andthey light it like really like candles and
stuff, and it overlooks the oldcemetery there, and they have a theatrical
reading of the legend of Sleepy Hollow. I highly recommend that everybody check that

(01:31:44):
out because it is so cool.So sorry to interrupting, but Sleepy Hollow
it says here there is a sleepyHollow in New York is called Sleepy Hollow
is a village in New York State, Hudson Valley. It's known as the
setting of Washington Irvings, the legendarySleepy Hollow. The author is buried in
Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. The Rockefeller's familiesopulent hilltop estate has gardens with twentieth century

(01:32:11):
sculptures. Northeast vast Rockefeller State ParkPreserve includes a network of carriage roads,
traversing woodlands, fields and streams. It's beautiful. It is. And the
other cool thing that they do isthey have a pumpkin blaze up there,
so they have like thousands of jacklanterns. That's amazing. It's a cool

(01:32:35):
place to go. Oh wow,the Lynhurst Mansion is amazing. Yeah it
is. Wow. Let's meet therenext weekend. Okay, all right,
let's go. That's good. Ican't. I can't. Um. I

(01:32:56):
have ghost tours. Yeah, andI have work. That's my whole life
right now is ghost Will you goand tell us what it's like. It
is a really cool town. It'sa lot of fun. They do a
lot of really cool Halloween stuff. And I would love to take the boys.
That would be so fun. Yeah, oh my god. Maybe,

(01:33:20):
Oh my god, let me seeif we can do this. It's a
lot. It's really cool. Theythe cemetery is spectacular. It's like seventeen
grave stones, like seventeen hundred. That is amazing. Some of them may
even be sixteen hundreds. It's areally cool place. And it's got um

(01:33:41):
They've got like the headless Horseman logoaround town too. This is really cool.
Oh my gosh, it's amazing, but I'll be telling ghost stories.
Yeah, go figure out what I'mgonna be for my girlfriends. Jesus,
Hello, aunt Arnold, I haven'theard from you an amazingly long time ten
years. A friend of mine,Arnold Henderson. Oh hey, Arnold Henderson.

(01:34:05):
Yes, there is a Sleepy Hollowin southeastern Wayne County Township. That's
what I thought too. I Ithought I've gone through it good. That's
not the same one. Have youseen that. You've seen the movie Sleepy
Hollow, right, the Tim BurtonI think, so that was good.

(01:34:26):
Oh, it's so good. Itis so good. I mean Johnny Depp.
You know, they kept saying thatthere was going to be a part
two to um The Nightmare before Christmas, but I haven't seen anything. There's
a book coming out that's supposed tobe a part two, really, and
I think that she's got like therights to the story and everything, so
it's like a legit book. Whois that? Who has her right?

(01:34:46):
It's the author I can't remember hername, but she's writing it like it's
Sally's story this time. Oh that'sawesome. Yeah, that'd be cool.
Well, I think if anybody goesup there too, sleepy hole. They
should do a live stream. Ithink it should be absolutely. I don't
know, Robert, I don't knowwhat it was. I don't I can't

(01:35:09):
imagine me having a past life witha car on that on that bridge.
I know some of my past Iknow some of my past lives, especially
ones that would have it would includea car. So Fantasia, wasn't that
the one? That's Mickey Mouse?Right, that's Andy? I loved Fantasia.

(01:35:33):
I have Fantasias. Let me justtell you nightmares from that from Phantasia,
did you really? Yeah? Fromthe elephants in Pink Tutus Soute,
I had nightmares. It might havehad something to do with the acid I
was on, but that very wellwas probably it. The fuck yeah?

(01:36:00):
As watching Fantasia, Well those wereyounger years. When you know, we
all do stupid things when we're young. Oh wait, Eric said it comes
out every few years as the Nightmarebefore Christmas? Two? Wait what does
Yeah? Yeah, I'm confused.I should write down all of my past

(01:36:25):
lives that I remember. I haveso many would be interesting, it would
be cool. There was a showI watched on Amazon Prime. It was
a bunch. It was called theGhost and My Child, and it was
it was fascinating. It was allthese little kids who was on prime.
I have seen that I'm going tohave this ghost. Absolutely fact. It

(01:36:45):
gave me goosebumps the whole like itwas so good. M hmm, yeah
it was. It was actually reallyfascinating. And how they because I remember
this one where the child was talkingto the parents about certain things and there
was no way he would know them, and I think it was a murder
or something. Yeah, there was. And there was another one that I

(01:37:08):
saw that was a girl. Shewas a young girl and she didn't talk
until she was about five years old, and then when she started talking,
she wanted to always wear like hermother's lipstick and makeup and stuff, and
she always watched like silent movies.Yeah, and she believed that she was
a silent movie actress. Oh that'sit's really it's really it's much better than

(01:37:31):
the story I'm telling. But itdefinitely what you think of it. It
sounds so cool. I love watchingthose past life kind of things, like,
um, I think there was onelike something Rose, Oh God,
I can't think of it. Um. But see, there's a lot of
movies like that because like when wewatched UM, Cindy, you and I

(01:37:55):
talked about the movie all the timeabout who was it um, where they
were the ghosts and not? Ohyeah, the others. The other is
one of my favorite movies. Oneof my favorites too. Yeah. Did
you see a ghost Story? Aghost Story? Yeah? Oh I love

(01:38:15):
that movie. Wait, like rightnow, there's a lot like on Prime
and all that stuff. You canthey're doing, like the Thirty Days of
Halloween and you can pretty much watchanything you want about Halloween. It's so
it's a movie. It says,a ghost story, A ghost story,
A ghost story. Yeah, whatis it on? I think I may
have seen it on Shutter Yeah,it could have because Shutters the other big

(01:38:41):
horror. They just do horror movies. I wouldn't even call it really a
horror movie though it was. Hmm, it's movie. Yeah, I don't
know the hello, it's very slow. That's like the one for the graves.
What do they call those the there'sanother one from the Um Tales from

(01:39:03):
the Grave script. I remember thatone. No, I think it's Tales
from the Grave, or maybe it'sjust called grave Tales. Maybe that's what
it's called. Maybe that's what it'scalled somewhere in time of Christopher read I

(01:39:25):
spit on your grave, Thank you, Eric, That's what it was.
That's what it was. I spiton your grave. Yeah, say,
I knew my kid wouldn't know that. It's a little bit rough. Yeah,
that one was. That was good. That was real good. No.
I like I like the like theHaunting of Hillhouse. I thought was
like perfection. There's a lot likea haunting. I love that. I

(01:39:48):
loved all of the uh. Likeyou know, everybody starts watching like the
horror movies now or the parent likeparanormal Activity all they're all three or four
of those. The Insidious movie Ilove. Oh, the insidious ones are
good. I don't think I've seeninsidious movies. Oh my god, they're
so good. They're good. Umoh yes, Thirteen Ghosts, Eric,

(01:40:10):
it's so it's funny because there's alot of that one. That one is
scary. But the thing is isthere were a lot of truths in there,
um in thirteen Ghosts. In fact, I've taught a lot of people
because of that that movie, umabout spell work, about um uh and

(01:40:32):
how in protection of your house andstuff like that. Because of Thirteen Ghosts.
I just I watched, Um,you should have left with Kevin Bagan.
Have you seen that one? Thatone actually scared me? What is
that one? It didn't I shouldn'tsay it didn't scary. It left me
feeling really uncomfortable, which is funfor me. Deadly friended that to me.

(01:41:00):
I don't think I saw that one. Yeah, that one I saw
in a theater with a really goodfriend of mine. And when the one
part come out, we just boughta really big bucket of popcorn. And
when Nick came out and scared thehell out was that popcorn went up in
the air and everybody around us gotshowered with popcorn. That's hysterical. You
know. Kevin Bacon had that onemovie. Let me think of it,

(01:41:25):
and it talked about it was pastlives and stuff. Um, I haven't
No, I haven't seen that oneyet. I've heard good things about that.
Pinhead love Pinhead, I love him, I love Doug Bradley. I
it's so funny. That one isthe first one that came up. You

(01:41:45):
should have lacked. Yeah, it'sa really good movie. It's a really
good movie. But um, Tremorsisn't monstrous hell Raiser. I don't know
how really scared me. Howa Manwas interesting too. Who did you see
Hereditary? No? Oh, that'sa good one. That's a good one.

(01:42:06):
There's a there's a part in therethat actually I think Bacon was in
Friday the thirteenth. Yeah, Ido not remember that. That's the original.
Yeah, that the original. Dawnathe Dead, Barry Jesus, Oh,
Dawna the Dead is great. Nowyou're talking old school. Now you're
talking stuff, and we actually knowactors that have been in a lot of

(01:42:28):
those movies. That's the coolest.Yeah, it's so much fun. Yeah.
Well, one of my good friendsplayed many of the characters in the
horror movies. Um, you know, it's the Doubles, and it's just
it's it's cool. It's a fact. I gotta get him on here again
because we haven't talked to him ina long time retirement. Home of the

(01:42:51):
Dead. All right, let's see. The zombie stuff actually really scares me,
like does it? Yeah? LikeWorld War Z when I read the
book. That's one. Oh yeah, that is a good one. You
know, the the new series theTitans just came out with. Um,

(01:43:16):
it's part of this last season.Um, there was something similar to the
zombie thing where they um inhaled sometype of um stuff and it actually turned
them into a zombie type form.I thought that was really odd for,
um, a superhero superhero movie togo that way, you know, a

(01:43:39):
series. I should say, wait, what was that? What was the
one the Titans? The Titans, you know, the new one with Robin
and all that, But it wasit was interesting. I haven't seen it.
I think tremors were okay, Ijust don't think they qualify as horror.
That's all. Twenty eight days later, do you remember Room? What

(01:43:59):
the how was it called Room? What's his name? Playing it with black
hair? Was a Room? Twofourteen to sixteen? Yes, yes,
John Cusack? Which movie? Whatwhat was it called? There was another
name twenty I'm gonna I'm gonna lookit up. But that movie scared the

(01:44:27):
crap out of me. That moviewas definitely different, and um, it
was actually based on a hotel inBoston. Really yeah, Stephen King wrote
the story. Um, I wantto say two fourteen, well, Stephen
King also wrote the shining Yes,Stephen King at another hotel. Yeah,
but the it's the omnip Parker Housethat he wrote it about. Oh yes,

(01:44:51):
it's where Boston cream Pie was made. I'm always and here we have
where Boston cream Pie was cre um. Oh like really the dessert Boston creamy.
Yeah, and Parker roll Parker Houserolls, I think they are.
Um, but yeah, there's aroom that's haunted there and they don't go
in it anymore. And um,like nobody goes in it. They don't

(01:45:15):
rent it anymore, and I'm I'mjust trying to look at the movie.
Um, I want to say it'slike eleven twenty eight, but um,
it's such a s eighteen oh four. Yes, yes, is that it?
I don't know, not rent thisroom anymore because I'll the hand that.

(01:45:36):
Uh yeah, the hotel itself isgorgeous, it's spectacular. Yeah what
is that hotel? Oh the StanleyHotel omni Parker House. But you know
what's amazing as the Stanley, Andthere's also the Shanley. It's funny how
the names. It's like, well, Stanley's in New York, right right,

(01:46:01):
fourteen oh eight, that's what itis. Fourteen o eight, I
got I got in fourteen o eight, Yeah, fourteen o eight. Um,
yeah, this the moment. TheShamley is pretty cool. I have
not been to the Shanley Hotel.I've been it. Never haven't been to
either one. I haven't been tothe Meither. But I see a lot

(01:46:24):
of a lot of um investigators goingto the Shanley. Yeah, yeah,
I seen I've seen that too.Um just I've never been there. Um
well, I don't know where Igot twenty three oh one from Hey,
who the hell knows? You know? You're Sack? And I could watch
John Q. Sack and just aboutanything. But he was in The Raven,

(01:46:45):
which I thought I would love andI hated. He was also in
one about Something down in Louisiana.I think there was another one. He
was in, Um Midnight in theGarden of Good and Evil. Oh my
god, I love that movie.I love that movie. Wait, who

(01:47:06):
was in that movie? John Cusack? Yeah? I love John Cusack.
My two Joyers love him, absolutelylove him. Maybe it was that movie
which one? Oh there was onethat was filmed in New Orleans. Maybe
that's yes, it could be thatone. Yeah, we were actually in
New Orleans when they were filming, and I was like this the whole time,

(01:47:29):
like where is he? Where ishe yeah, because it was about
am I want to say, apolitician or something. Yeah, he was
a gay politician or oh my god, Eric and the serpent was amazing.
Way, who are we talking aboutright now? I thought we were talking
about John John Cusack? What wasit? Runaway Jerry? Could be?

(01:47:58):
Could be? No, Hi,Tim, Hello the Rainbow in the Are
you Boddy? We have one ofmy favorites movie, Teddy. That's how
I met you was Timaville. Yeah, okay, tim Sonoville. How long

(01:48:20):
ago was it that we came toyour place and when you guys were in
Palmyra? Oh Myra? Yeah, that was a long time ago. Yeah.
So I talked to your sister Teddyby the way, and your sister
said that, um, that wasyour nephew's first one and he was a
fifteen years old. No kidding,I was right because I said I thought

(01:48:43):
he was like fourteen or fifteen, and he is now twenty four, so
he is. It was nine yearsago. Wow, I've known you.
I already know eight years I think, no, nine? Yeah, good
guess him. Good. Garden ofGood and Evil was filmed and it's my

(01:49:11):
favorite place in the world. I'venever been to Nola and I want to
go there on Knowlins. It isgorgeous, Worries. I'm just teasing,
absolutely beautiful, and I want togo to Knowlins. You'll have to You'll
have to keep ther blinders on,Cindy. This like the stories, like
you walk down the street and youcan feel the stories of the of the

(01:49:32):
the people who are no longer there. It's amazing. Yeah, here's one
for you guys. The believers,Oh that was a good one. Did
you get here so quickly? Youjust were talking to me and told me
to pick you up with the frick. Yeah. The believers, Um,
there was so many, Like theoriginal Exorcist was when it first came out,

(01:49:56):
it was, yeah, it was. It was. I don't know
what the believers are. I don'tthink. Yeah. Yeah. The believers
was with oh shit, the lookno I feel. I'm like, oh,
my brain's not working. Um.The Exorcist did not scare me either.
My mom wouldn't let me watch.I was a little kid and I

(01:50:18):
wanted to watch and she would neverlet me watch it. Martin Sheen,
Martin Sheen, Robert uh Yeah,Martin Sheen, Robert uh uh, Jesus
Loggia and Helen Shaver. Yeah, nineteen eighty seven. Nineteen eighty seven,

(01:50:39):
horror sci fi thriller. Okay, tell me what the premise is because Amityville.
Yes I did, says recently widowedpsychiatrist Call Jamison. Was just moved
back to New York City with hisyoungest son, young son Chris, in
an attempt to are over with hiswife horfort horrific accidental death, and takes

(01:51:03):
over an assignment helping the police withthe investigation of a cult like Bazaar.
So it's been a while since I'veseen that movie, but it was to
me, it was just it wasamazing. It's like the Changeling, remember
the Changeling. Yeah, and HarleyCross too. I don't know that I've
seen anything. I don't know anyof these movies. Changing was scary.
Oh my god. Oh yes, what about the Thing? The original thing?

(01:51:32):
I love the Wicker Man. Oh, that's a good one from well,
I should say the original It waswith um On like nineteen eighty had
what's her name? Oh my gosh. You know, we could sit here
all night and talk about movies becausemovies have they really do. Yeah,

(01:51:55):
I mean it's just for us thatthat love the maccabre or the Creepy or
anything like that. I mean,I mean one of my other favorite ones
is when I can't even remember thename of it that looks like a giant
uh roach. Oh no, Idon't No, you don't like that.

(01:52:18):
No, no, I the giantbugs. I don't like that. Remember
the Hunger with David Bowie. Yeah, that was a good one. Well,
David Bowie had a couple of goodones. Think about the other one
he end David Bowie and anything, sign me up. The guy that played
swamp Thing, his name is wellwas he passed away in two thousand and

(01:52:39):
nine, Dick durroc Right. Hewas six foot six. Wow, he
was a perfect one to play that. Yeah. I was just thinking about
another horror movie series, and Ijust love video wasn't a series. I

(01:53:00):
love them all. I know,I could sit and watch them over and
over and over. But like andI like the B rated ones as well
as the A rated movies. Imean, you know, it's some of
them more sometimes they're a lot offun. Toxic Avenger, I mean on
New Jersey, Yes, I meanit was The Labyrinth, Yes, thank
you Barry, that's what is fantastic. Yes, it's about the babe.

(01:53:25):
I also love the hands Pans Labrinth. Pans Labrinth was fantastic. Yeah,
that was such a good movie.Oh, Dark Crystal in the nineteen hundreds,
nineteen hundreds. There you go,we can actually say that now,
can't wait the night? Yes,we were already talking about this, Teddy.
Where have you been? Um?I don't know, Probably with Godzilla

(01:53:49):
in the nineteen hundreds. Nineteen fiftyfour, to be exact, was when
the very first one came out.Wow fifty four. Yeah, in the
mid nineteen hundreds, yes, yes, um, oh my gosh. Did
you guys know that? Stand byme? The it says The Stephen King

(01:54:10):
novella it's based on was at leastpartially autobiographical and was inspired by various memories
from King's childhood. Did you knowthat? Yep? Hello mister Mike Ann
from Technical Bigfoot Research. Hello,um hey, Mike, I just lost

(01:54:34):
it again. I was thinking ofthe movie and then all of a sudden
gone, how about Nosferato that originalone? Oh my god, that was
amazing silent. Yes, yeah, see, there's so many of those that

(01:54:55):
were great, though, I meansome of the old ones, even even
some of the new ones. Imean, come on, the what was
it called with Tom Cruise? Andyeah, Interview with the Vampire? I
love that too. Really yeah, wait, what did you guys just say
Interview with the Vampire? I lovedInterview with the Vampire. So I started

(01:55:18):
reading. I started reading the AnneRice novels. I started so much,
so it was really great. Istarted reading it and all of a sudden,
that's all I'm dreaming about. I'mliterally in with vampires William Dafoe.
I could not I could not readit anymore because I was literally I'm sorry,

(01:55:44):
I'd be laying there with like, come on, come on, but
it's so. What you're doing, understand is there is a real place where
vampires dwell. I mean, thereis a plane of existence where vampire yours
are. And I've been there.I know some vampires. I've met some

(01:56:05):
vampires. However, I was readingthe book and I probably got less than
twenty pages in less than that.I couldn't even get through that many.
Um, and I was sleeping, and I was sleeping with the vampires.
Ginger snaps. Oh yeah, yep, for what. I have watched as

(01:56:28):
many freaking wearwolf movies as I couldfind I mean, just even to the
dogs Soldiers I love I mean,come on, that's that's that's all me,
that's all me. I mean,you can't see it. But there's
a really great show, very nice. There's a really great show called Being
Human. Yes, I've seen it, but I only got so far and

(01:56:49):
then I got bored with it.Did you watch the American or the British
version? American? Watch the Britishone BBC. It's excellent. I started
it. It's excellent. I cannotkeep up with all of these shows because
if it's on regular freaking cable,I can't watch them. I love it.

(01:57:09):
I love it. Abb and Castello. There you go, I have
it next door in the next room. What did you call that? What
is that? When called? Didyou say the last show? You just
were talking about Being Human? Ilove this, Cindy. Did you book

(01:57:30):
a Southwest flight to Vampire Land?Yes? For real? Yeah, it
was, it was, it was. I couldn't. I literally was not
sleeping at all because I was withthe vampires all night long, Larry,
Curly and Poe. I really Iwould love to say that I had a

(01:57:56):
great time. However, I wasmuch getting any sleep. So the night
Stalker. Yes, what is MercyBrown? But then you know there is
night Stalker. Yeah, there there'sa lot um just I think horror films

(01:58:23):
don't rank every other type of filmout there versus like lovey dovey sci fi
and all this stuff, But somesci fi qualifies as Yeah. Why do
you think that is because of thebelief system that we have. I mean,
how many of us really truly believein aliens? How many of us
truly believe in monsters? How manyof us truly believe in the unknown.

(01:58:45):
I mean, I know it's justa small population when it comes to the
paranormal, but overall it's very hugebecause one out of five people I think
believe in ghosts. So if theybelieve in ghosts, and they're gonna believe
in the things as well, soor you would like to think at least
that they believe in other things, right, Yeah? Yeah, Sandra Peterson

(01:59:08):
should be here for this convo.I wouldn't be able to, Like,
I would totally fan Girl out ifshe I would be able to handle it.
I don't know, but Elvira, you have to fan you have to
fan Girl for all. But tothe yes, I went to I went
to his elvira um to a Halloweenparty, not just not too long ago.

(01:59:30):
Actually I did not Eric. Idid not see that in theater.
I saw it at home. Don'tknow if I saw Oh did you see
that? There was a question foryou at one point here? Where'd you
go? I was gonna get toit, and then we got sidetrackler movies.

(01:59:55):
Um it was excuse me, sorry, I think it was from Scary.
I think back is lugging me.I've been in this chair for like
six hours now. It's the nineteenhundred, so I'm just gonna keep saying
that. I know that somebody hadhad a question for for Genevieve. Would

(02:00:20):
you type it back over? Thatwould be great? See it? Yeah,
I can't find it either. I'llthink I can scroll up. Oh
yeah, I can look at thatMidsummer Midsummer with a Trip. I saw
that from Eric. Midsummer was definitelyan interesting movie. That was the same

(02:00:43):
people that did Hereditary. It wasscary. It was back a while,
wasn't it. Yeah. Barry says, amazing how we spent and now we're
talking about horror movies and I knowwe did not mention them all exactly awesome.
Toxic Avenger just brought up in thelate nineteen HS part about we started

(02:01:08):
out with Disney and Disney doesn't dohorror, not really, well they did,
do you know Eddie Murphy did thatone? What the hell is the
name of the haunted mansion or butit was just a funny thing. It
was cute. Right, I can'tfind any questions, but I'm not really

(02:01:29):
I'm having a hard time looking soum yeah right, Oh that's what it
was. Thank you, Barry,Thank you Barry. It was the Genevieve
tours question that I had. Ohwhat was it? He wants to know,
he wants to know about your tours. So we've been operating tours in
Keyport, New Jersey since two thousandand six. I just realized it's our

(02:01:54):
fifteenth year. Yeah, um,so Haunted Walking Tours. We do a
lot of history. Um, they'reall ghost stories that people have either shared
directly with me or the previous owner, or the things that people have experienced
along the way, or things thatwe've researched. So we have had experiences

(02:02:15):
on the Keyport tour where people haveseen, um, actual ghosts along the
tour, and we've had we've had. I had a personal experience where I
was actually pushed on a tour afew seasons. Yeah, that kind of
freaked me out. So we dotours in Keyport, and we also do
walking tours in Red Bank, NewJersey, which is not too far from

(02:02:35):
Keyport. And um, a lotof really cool, creepy history has gone
on in bolk towns. That's amazing. Yeah, so I've been I've been
telling stories since two thousand and seven, and then in twenty seventeen, I
bought the company and I am nowthe owner. So um, it's really
cool. I'm a business owner.That's awesome. That's awesome. What's really

(02:02:59):
sad is the music I grew upwith listening is not considered classics. I
heard the Cure in the grocery store. Now I'm old. Now I'm really
old. Stop it. Listen whenI when I go to Walmart, they
have all kinds of music, SoI love it. Yeah, it's it's

(02:03:20):
good stuff. But thank you,Barry, Thanks Barry. Well, we're
trying to get Genevieve to the Parafest, and if we can get her there,
um, people will have all theinformation they can get for the following
season, So I'll tell you somescary stories too. There you go.
Hell, yes, please. Maybewe could get Genevieve to do one of

(02:03:43):
the um uh, she could doone of the lectures. Have time to
do a lecture and talk about someof these scary um stories. How to
start a ghost tour? Well, yes, that too. Well I actually
was going to do one at onetime. Genevieve and I were talking,
but I never I just got sofreaking overwhelmed. I haven't done it yet

(02:04:08):
yet yet. We've got a lotof places out here the muse. Hey,
Cindy, I just watched your sayingHey, can't you're reading from earlier.
I can totally relate to the movingforward and quickly into the future.

(02:04:30):
I can't wait to go back toNew York and see you guys again.
Awesome, Jamie, thank you somuch for watching. I appreciate it.
I hope you enjoyed the reading.I loved it. Yep, you're old.
Goddamn you're ridiculous. But look atwhat Eric Harrison said. It said
right, it's kind of sad,but it was before the music died.
Get it. There's a song.Yeah you oh, I can't teach you

(02:04:55):
that Robert without the government cutting intoyour expenses. If you're a ghost,
you don't have to pay taxes. But otherwise, yeah, yeah, and
we'll all be there eventually, youknow, but I mean, you don't
have to be there. Well,do you remember there was a story about

(02:05:18):
I think there was Revolutionary War soldiersand they died and they still haunted the
location and it was a movie andthey would come back on the anniversary and
they would go through all this stuffand an e turned out to be a
comedy and it was fantastic. Ihave to get the name of it,

(02:05:38):
but it was just it was, yeah, it was great, and it
was all I think the mistress ofthe house or whatever was killed. She
was murdered, pushed down into likethe the well at the time or something.
And but you know, I justgot done watching one of my favorites,
which was, of course when Iwant to talk about it, High

(02:05:59):
Spirits men. I love the Spirits. I heard, Yeah, I gotta
watch that. Um that was withLee Neeson And yeah, it's fantaste,
right, they had a hotel something. Yes, it's hysterical, hysterical.
There's a show. I gotta there'sa show on UM one of the BBC

(02:06:20):
channels. That is a woman inheritsa manor house, and like she's got
all the ghosts lined up and she'stelling them all about themselves, like we
all have lived here together and theother alf of different time periods and stuff
like, oh my gosh, wait, what is that though? What was
that? Gonna find I gotta findthat one. Um, okay, what
is Mike? Mike was saying atParatok Radio they have one in Temple Hill.

(02:06:45):
Now what does that mean? Whatis he talking about? What's in
Temple Hill? I'm not sure. That's why I'm trying to read back.
Yeah, Peter O'Toole was one ofmy favorites. Oh yeah, I can't
get that goddamn song out of myhead now. Eric thinks, oh,

(02:07:06):
I want to see ghosts on CBS. I've not seen that yet. Yeah.
I've been wanting this. I've beenwanting to put it as in record,
and I of course I can't watchit because it's on a regular TV.
I think that's another one that wasa BBC show, is I think?
Yeah, yes, I did seeWinchester. Oh that's good stuff.

(02:07:28):
The Winchester House. Yeah, theywere doing um, thank you of the
Winchester House, like you could doa whole virtual thing. I don't know
if they're still doing it. Ifthey're doing it during the height of the
pandemic, I mean it's probably stillbehind of the pandemic. Um. Thanks
for sharing. Sorry. If Ihad done it, you'd have been like,

(02:07:51):
oh my god, what is shedoing? I'd puke with you.
That's what it is. It's theactors kind it with Tim Conway, great
Haunted movie one Wait, which onewas that? Private Eyes? Private Eye?
Avan Castello had some great ones though, and it wasn't just Frankenstein.

(02:08:13):
Damn. They had great ones.Yeah. Well the werewolf, the vampire
that had so many different things. That was so great. Robert said he
was trying to do a ghost tourat the boulders in Babinda where the cursed
swimming hole is eighteen deaths from drowning. The government was after money if I

(02:08:33):
tried, Oh that's too bad.The ghost and mister Chicken, Oh my
god, that was hilarious. Thankyou, you're welcome. You're welcome,
and thank you, thank you you'rewelcome. Well, Jenevieve, I won't
because we should be wrapping up,So why don't you give us some some
things that are happening with you. What where they can get a hold of
