(05:58):
Cindy, can I just say yeah, you look good? Can I
just say you look good? Ido? Yeah, I don't even have
my lushes on. No, butyou still look good. I haven't seen
you in three weeks. I knowit, honey bear, I love you
and I missed you. I wishI could you look thin. I'm getting
(06:19):
there, except I got these crow'sfeet. Oh stop it. Your face
looks really thin, and you'd looktan. Listen. I'm just a white
kasper kind of girl. Yeah, you is. We can see you in
the dark. Listen. I dohave a tan line. I showed my
boyfriend and he laughed at me.You have a boyfriend. Now. Wow,
(06:41):
I'm learning a lot of shit tonight. Hey, Angel Wayne, thanks
for joining. Darren Smith Hello,I said, hi tick Darren, Okay,
I'm just I'm trying to keep trackof everybody but Darren and Derek.
Hi, Derek, there you go. Let's get Josh in here before he
falls asleep on Hi John? Yes? Hi? Whoa beard? Is that
(07:06):
where the critters are living? Well? I figured, you know, I've
always wanted one, and I can'tget any farther than this. It's like,
yeah, we're just cutt and paste. Right yeah, wow, Oh
(07:27):
jeez, she's so funny. JohnSullivan says, Hi, Josh, Hi,
John, here's mine. So Iwant you to cut that shit off
and past. It's your face. You can you can go and drag.
You can do the men's side.I can do drag. Wait, good,
(07:50):
I am. You can't even snap. You can't even snap? What
are you talking about? Come on, old girl? That working? Oh
thought when you said get that snapperworking. Oh my gosh, we're not
going there. You're gonna be drinking. So folks. Last week we talked
(08:13):
about real quick before we get intoJosh, I was talking to you guys
about Squatch Doctor Squatch soap. Andright here is the barrel of the wood
barrel murphin that I have in myhand. I'm using the pine tart.
Oh my god, it's amazing. It's amazing. Josh. Here's the problem.
(08:37):
There's seven to eight bucks a soap. Yeah yeah, but what they're
awesome? And after I told youguys where to find them and that I
was going to try and become adealer, guess where they're being sold?
Where one guess? No? Walmart? Oh really Walmart selling them? Now
(09:03):
there goes that plan. I didn'tknow Walmart started selling them. I need
to. Sandy Wils says, mydaughter bought a bar of soap from her
for her boyfriend. Listen, Iwant to know what he'd like, if
he likes it, because I'm tellingyou the stuff smells fantastic, the wood
barrel bourbon. But I like theparent, the pine tar so much because
(09:26):
after you get out of the shower, you know how most soaps you don't
really don't smell the soap. Thepine tar. Oh my god, it's
amazing. The boys have wanted DoctorSquatch for a long while. Now Walmart,
honey, Walmart, and I thinkthe fear what why would they sell
it less than on there? Ihave no idea. And Sandy Wills says
(09:50):
Trader Joe's in Ohio has them aswell, So now we know where Sandy
is. I should look at TraderJoe's. Then Dustin Garrison says, I
swear by my Dead Light. Ithink Dustin is saying, let's get to
the point. I think that's whathe's saying. I'm here, all right,
(10:18):
guys, stop it. Here's thedeal. Tonight we're talking with Josh
Bender from Dead Light and Um,I do not own any dead lights.
I don't own one. Don't Idon't. I I have to admit I
don't. I don't know if I'mbeing bad. I just I just go
(10:39):
a little bit that I can seeyour thing after the dead light it says
something light, light up the night. Night. Yeah. I didn't even
have to do that. All Idid was light and night. I'm like,
that's why I'm good at things likeCrawford Buckles light night, light up
the night. Yeah. Like ifI go like this, it says d
(11:00):
light. Where do you get thatfrom? D light? Cindy, Where
does that make sense? You know? How about the end of our show?
Oh yes, do light? Thisis gonna be a long hour.
(11:28):
Dustin Garrison says, you're missing outon some awesomeness of iron light. I
won't own any other light. I'mbeing real on that. I swear my
mind too. Always a few choicewords while it's next to me. That
was Derek. I'm not sure Ineed to go get some food. I'm
(11:50):
starving. That reading took a longtime. Yeah, all right, so
you know again, an hour youcan wait. You can fast for an
hour. I've been fasting. Ohwait, I did have some chocolate cake.
Listen, I'm hydrates during certain extenuatingcircumstances in the month. That was
(12:16):
an easy way of saying I havemy period. Oh my god, good
night, folks. It was agreat shows. You know. The thing
is, the thing is is thisis Cindy. This is why we have
her. We you know, she'sjust her. And because it's Pride month,
(12:41):
we are And the whole thing inPride Month is be who you are,
be yourself. We are letting Cindybe herself. We don't have to
like it, but we're allowing herto bear. All right, Josh,
let's get it this. So giveme some infot like where did Deadlight come
(13:03):
from? When did it start? So? How Deadlights started was? You
know, I've always tinkered with electronics, you know, take them apart.
Doing stuff like that was like modifyingthings, and and I started to kind
of experiment with different LEDs and thingslike that, and it just didn't seem
(13:26):
to work well. It seemed liketo work like, you know, like
the other ones that you could buy, And so I started missing around with
some higher power LEDs and I cameup with I started making a light that
you know, it was just aproject box that you bought. And I
(13:48):
was just you know, I wasjust building them for myself. And I
used to have a podcast years agoand one of my guests was Justin Brown
from Interface Death. And after Ihad him on UM on my show,
you know, we just kept intouch. You know, he's a he's
a Cincinnati Bengals fan, I'm aPittsburgh Steelers fans or you know. We
(14:09):
kind of yeah, just back andback and forth. Then yeah, everybody
so and and we just you know, we just kept in touch talking and
stuff like that. And uh,you know, he had this camera that
was a white had a really wideangle lens and he's like, you know,
(14:30):
all these I R lights, hesaid, there's nothing, um that
will illuminate the whole view of thiswide angle lens. And we kind of
threw ideas back and forth, andI was like, let me see if
I what I can come up with, you know, uh, you know
I like to build things, SoI decided, you know, we will
we kind of come up with theidea. But um, I decided how
(14:52):
I was gonna make this this light, and uh, we wanted to have
the light to have a curved facebecause with the flatter face, it kind
of throws it straight out and itdoesn't spread out the light as well,
so you end up with this hotspot. Even though that if the light
(15:13):
is powerful enough, it will illuminateeverything, but it still has that really
bright center. So I made thisthis curved face light, and I also
made uh. Derek in the inthe chat there, he wanted one as
well. So I was making twoof them, and I offered to do
some drum footage for Justin at HigginSupport School in Ohio. They had just
(15:39):
filmed a documentary there, and Uh, I offered to drive up there and
do some drum footage, and Iwas going to give him his light.
So I finished it and we metup and he looked at it and he
really liked it and it worked reallywell, and he he's like, you
should say these. I was like, well, I never really thought of
(16:02):
it, you know, I justmake them for you know, friends and
you know whatever. But he hekind of encouraged me to sell these.
So that's that's how that got started. And the name Deadlight. Justin actually
came up with that as well.Um So in the movie It, Pennywise,
(16:25):
his original form is called the Deadlight, and that's where it came from.
Was was the movie it? Idon't know. We just yep,
we just spelled it a little bitdifferent. And then we put the h
the light up the night on thebottom, and and that's how Deadlight was
born. Do you want to thisis? This is I just thought about
(16:52):
something here. I don't own anydeadlights, but I have a Deadlight T
shirt and I'm trying to figure outwhere I got I'm trying to remember where
I got a Deadlight T shirt frombecause I'm looking at that behind you.
The more I think I have thebash. Maybe I was gonna say I
think it was, because yeah, that's we saw that. Are we sure?
(17:12):
I don't have? It's gonna bugeach a check, but keep talking
down. So since, uh,since Justin helped design the curved face light,
(17:36):
I told him, I said, you know, help uh to name
it because I he's a little morecreative at that kind of thing than I
am. But um, he decidedto name it the Necro. So that's
how the Necro was born. Yeah, that's a very popular light. So
that's where the where the Necro camefrom. Tell me the website where we
can go, right, now foryour it would be just a Facebook page.
(18:02):
I don't have a website. Ijust I do everything through the Facebook
page. Anytime anybody messages me,your message the deadlight page. You're talking
to me, and you can askquestions, you can, um, you
know, I take all the orderson there, you know, anything anything
like that. I have all theinformation and everything on the on the deadlight
(18:22):
page. And if you if there'ssomething that you don't see, um,
all you have to do is messageme, you know, I'll message you
back. So dot com on deadlight. Yeah, if you just look up,
if you do a search on Facebookand just type in deadlight, it
should come up. It would bedeadlight LLC. Yes, deadlight LLC.
(18:52):
I asked specifically so I could putit in there for you. Don't get
cocky. No, it's just calledum marty asty comma or no comma.
That's a deadlight comma or no kmma. She says, shouldn't be any comma,
(19:17):
just just deadlight LLC. That shouldpop right up. Well, I'm
breaking shit, just so many else, all right, I should have done
(19:37):
this earlier, though I didn't.I work is looking for something. Yeah,
oh I think I hurt my backOkay, that's not no. I
(20:04):
was gonna see what I do have. I do have an infrared light.
It's in a box. It's likea black box, probably that big,
and it says something on it,but I don't remember which light it is.
I'm thinking maybe that's what I got. I don't know. Who knows.
(20:26):
I get a problem with cyndih Isee, I see what I want.
Yeah, yeah, that's the actuallink. There we go. Yeah,
if you just type that in thesearch, it'll come right up.
(20:48):
Yeah, look at you go,CYNDI. I gave her some power now
and she's that's all going to herhead. A woman with pat So let
me let me check. Let meask you, like with the lights and
stuff that you make, now,do you make them for the go pros
as well, the different size lightsor is it just like a mean like,
(21:12):
do you have any examples with you? I do I have a I
have a couple here. I don'thave. I don't have h I don't
have much, but I do haveYeah, I don't. I don't.
I build them and they leave,so I have I need to make some
displays for folks. He's not avery good salesman either. Just so you
know, so it make sure youknow what you want when you get a
(21:34):
hold of them. Yeah, it'sa good thing. It's a good product.
Because I don't have any to showyou, but no I do.
Um, I have a couple here, so I have this one here.
This is a yeah, this isat this particular one is all white,
but typically people order I R.So you have four rows or two rows
(21:57):
of IR. You can also turna huge turn half of them off.
And you have also have a youknow, a magnetic diffuser to smooth the
smooth the light out, smooth anyhot spots or anything like that out.
So you have intensity adjustment on theside, and this button turns on the
(22:21):
second row, so when you initiallyturn it on, you'll have one row,
and then you have this to turnthe second row on, so you
have quite a bit of control there. You have a magnetic compartment. This
is about five five inches wide. Now that all the necros are the same
(22:45):
exact size except for the height. So there's a one that's bigger that has
two rows of R. And thenyou have three LEDs in the center,
so you can combine IR with fullspectrum or uv um or the white the
white light that's what UM. Mostpeople get is the is the white and
(23:07):
then but what is it? Whatdoes it run? If you don't,
I me as, so I makeone it's a little bit smaller than this.
Justin invited me to like your page, but I already did it.
But then I saw that Justin invitedme, so I said, accept it,
thank you. So this one here, I do make a smaller one
that's just one row and it's stillabout about the size UM. That one
(23:32):
starts at one thirty five. Butyou get the you get the magnetic diffuser.
You also get an external battery holder. So this this is a magnetic
diffuser. So this is the diffuserhere. So this smooth. This smooths
out the light. It makes everythingsmooth, takes away your hot spots.
Everything. But it has been it'sheld on by magnets. It's magnetic.
Oh god it So it's the magneticdiffuser. So you get that, and
(23:59):
you get a power cord and anexternal battery holder that takes four eighteen six
fifty batteries. This one holds. The battery compartment on the light holds two.
So if you want to set upa light with like a static camera,
you could plug in the provided externalholder and power it externally and it
lasts almost twice as long, youknow, with the four batteries and the
(24:23):
There's a conversation going on in theother chat on the other chat room and
it says, uh. Missy repliedto Derek and says deadlight is built tough
enough to withstand being ran over bya car. And Derek says that it
does. L well, yes,at least one of them can withstand being
(24:48):
run over by a car because asone, Yeah, at least one,
and that was the one that gotrent it run over by a car.
I wouldn't I wouldn't recommend that.But this one here the forty watt.
You know, you get the likeI was saying, You get the power
cord and the external battery holder. You get the magnetic diffuser. You get
the dull power feature and the dullpower feature meaning you can either power it
(25:11):
with putting batteries in the batter compartmentor you can power it externally with the
provided extrastory holder. So if youdo have a chord that it can be
power are non battery supply Yeah,I power, I provide the power cord
and the external holder. I don'tprovide batteries. That's the only thing that
(25:32):
I don't provide. But um sowhenever you see the total price, I'm
being powered by an external source.Never mind is used to power powering things
with external sources. Either way, maybe true. That's all right, So
(26:02):
learn radio, listen, and noneof it is shameful. Nothing to be
ashamed of. Boys. So whenyou see the total price of these,
when I give the total price, that includes all that stuff plus free shipping
(26:22):
in the in the United in ayou know, the lower forty eight states.
So it's not it is not ACpowered. It's uh DC only Yeah,
it's only DCN this from a rockband, Oh my gosh. And
(26:44):
so all right, so I've gotto ask, like, so you so
is that the typical type that you'remaking now? Is that style? Or
do you make like a whole bunchof different kinds. I'm working on it.
I do have a small ten whatI call the ten what demon it's
it's a lot smaller you can bepaired with. I mean you can use
bigger cameras with it too, butuh like action action modified action cameras.
(27:08):
Uh, it's just it's very simple. You put the batteries in it and
either has on off switch. There'sno adjustment or anything like that. So
it's pretty simple. Well yeah, most of us, I mean most of
us when we have like the handon cameras, we have the stand where
the camera goes on the bottom, the lights go on the top, and
all that stuff. Anyway, soyou know, whether you're using a GoPro
(27:30):
or cam quarter or some type orwhatever, I mean, that light would
certainly be plenty of light for AndI do have test footage with that using
using a Zoom Q two INN,which is a basically a Zoom recorder with
a ten ADP or four K versioncamera. And those obviously have to be
(27:55):
modified, just like the SJA camsand the and the GoPros. But I
like those. Uh, they canbe they can be a little, i
don't know how to put it,well, a little fragile because that whenever
you power the camera externally. Abig problem with them is the USB port
(28:18):
breaking off of the circuit board, like if you bump it, it can.
But normally they're originally designed and soldfor musicians who want to um have
that high quality sound and the goodvideo quality they can set it down.
They can hook it up to thelaptop and live stream, or they can
(28:38):
record themselves, uh playing music. So they're not they're not really meant to
be taking you know, powered externallyand taken to a dark place and running
around everywhere. They weren't really supposedto be mobile. But but they work
well if you're as long as you'recareful with them. Um. But I
do have test footage of something likethat, and that would be um very
(29:00):
comparable to like the SJ cam orthe or the GoPro. Oh San Thomas,
I hope she has a backup ranawesome. Awesome. So dead Light
(29:27):
is like everywhere, right, Imean, because people are buying these things
all over in the paranormal community.I mean I know the name a lot.
I mean I think everybody's heard ofthe name one way or another if
you're in the field, so youknow it's it's popular. It is it
is other ones as well. ButI won't mention any of the names.
(29:49):
Yeah, I mean that's okay.I mean if you know, everybody has
their preference. It's like, uh, you have Forward, you have Dodge,
you have yeah, you have right, you notice the first one he
said first? Yeah, that's theone I like the least amount. Oh
damn it, Yeah, I have. I have a RAM truck, so
(30:11):
I like, I really like those, and I do like. See we
have Ford, we have Ford worktrucks, you know, at work,
and and they're just no good.I'm a Ford guy and I don't have
any issues with my Ford. Nothingbut Ford. And I've never had an
issue. I love. Yeah,I see, like, so there you
(30:36):
have. You have different preferences, and it's you know, you can't hold
it against anybody. You've you know, a friend of mine wants to buy
a different light, It's okay,yeah, it's I mean, it doesn't
it doesn't bother me. And youknow the way things are today too,
I mean money is getting tighter andtighter and tighter. I mean we're we're
going to be at seven that's true. Trucks, but they're they're saying that
(31:00):
it's gonna be seven bucks a gallonand seven bucks a gallon. Do you
know how many people are just gonnastay home instead, are even trying to
drive to work because they're not gonnahaving the money to do it five dollars
a gallon. I mean, Ican remember when this happened in two thousand
and eight. I mean I hadto decide if I wanted to buy things
for my house or go to school. How high was it back then?
(31:22):
I don't think it's ever been.It was almost five dollars almost, but
now now it is five. Sorry, I mean that's yeah. Most places
here are five or over five rightnow. Most places aren't five now,
yep. Yeah, it's I've definitelynoticed a difference, you know, and
I definitely understand it. It's it'snot because people don't. I don't know
(31:45):
about dead lighter and you know,I mean there's still lots of people that
probably don't, but you have, you know, there there's more important things
to buy right now than you know. Survival. I mean it goes.
Hunting is a hobby. You goat the best, at the most,
you know what I mean, orat the best. I mean it's stuff
that we do. But um,survival between bread or deadlights. I mean
(32:12):
right, yeah, let's be honest, but by bread. But well,
but small businesses aren't feeling this,so I'm sure that you're going to as
well. I mean, anybody thatmakes anything to sell, whether it be
chocolate chip cookies to deadlights. Imean if you're a small business owner,
you're gonna feel this. And Ibelieve that businesses are going to start closing,
(32:37):
I really do. Um. Ifsomething doesn't change, we're gonna be
in big trouble. But I don'twant to stay on that. I want
to stick with you. UM withthis. It's just I'm just looking at
the person that doesn't have the extramoney. Um. And in most cases
they can get away with pretty muchanything, you know, But if you
want something dependable, something um right, and something you know, UM,
(33:02):
something that can call, something thatcan withstand the vehicle going over top of
it, apparently to you you wantthen you want a dead light and you
know so definitely, UM, wegive you and everybody else that's here.
Who said that? I only paytwo ninety nine per gallon? Oh isn't
(33:24):
that nice? Eric? I thinkours is over three bucks now, well
it's got to be more than thatusually only and whatever, Eric, stay
to out where you are we're payingfor Yeah. I loved my e eighty
five for my Dodge Grand Caravan.I would definitely be doing the eighty five
all right. Let's see here,Um, I bought mine already for you
(33:49):
works from home. Oh, there'sa lot of people that do that too.
Yeah. Oh Victoria, Texas.Yeah, and they have oil.
That's sad. The Texas Texas isusually the cheapest of the country. It's
(34:10):
actually depends on what are you goto around here, but locally it's right
now, it's it's probably gonna goup again, but uh fifty five.
And the gas station right across thestreet from it's like fifty nine. Walmart's
usually the cheapest. And I'm insoutheastern part of West Virginia Green Greenbrier County.
(34:31):
Yeah, here you go. See, Derek needs to be your salesman
because he's like reliable, bright, multi purpose, cost effective, and made
with a personal touch that body.Yep, I can. I can personalize
them in different ways. That's whathe's really saying. The mail in Australia.
(34:59):
Five Wait in Indiana. I thinkCalifornia is probably the most expensive in
the States other than I don't knowif Alaska Hawaii is higher or not,
but um that that would make senseif they were. I don't know.
I don't know, but I canget a deadlight for one hundred and thirty
bucks, So you know, youguys, gas the demon is ninety Okay,
(35:22):
you know that's the smallest one thatI make. Wait you have is
that a handheld one? Yeah,it's just a little I have an example
here, Oh that drawer. Oh, we don't want to know what's in
that drawer the way he said that, it's like, oh, not that
drawer. Oh, there's all kindsof chords. And so this is one
(35:45):
that this is a test one thatthat I built. But this is basically
it. So it's just a littlea little smaller. It just has two
It looks like the face face toUh, what's that little robot? Short
circuit Johnny five circuits, Wally,Yeah, some of it, some of
(36:09):
it. Some of us are oldenough to remember a short circuit. Yes
we are with m h yep,but you get a magnetic diffuser. I
have new ones now I do Ido something a little different. But um,
this is a three D printed light. Still very sturdy. Um.
It still has the battery compartment onthe back. This is uh, you
(36:32):
can externally power. It comes withthe same external battery holder and power cord
that the larger ones do. Soyeah, pretty uh pretty strong little light.
Um. And I love it becauseeven Missy says that one comes in
pink. I made a pink onefor Missy, but yeah, I guess,
(37:00):
I guess I would make a pinkone if it's an What about a
I can't now since you mentioned that, let me show you. I like
rainbows. So so I do havea feature that I call it's called hydro
dip, and you can so thisis hydro dip with spray paint. It's
(37:23):
not with the film. It's withspray paint. So um. You can
pick two or three colors, andit's a it's a twenty dollar feature because
it's you know, it's it's extrasteps. I have to you know,
there's extra steps in the process. So it Dereka doesn't vibrate, We're not.
That's gonna mess up. That's gonnamess up your audio right now.
(37:46):
If it vibrates, it's gonna messup your audio. We can't. We
can't make a vibrant I love thesepeople tonight. I love these people tonight.
That's you know those A lot ofthese a lot of these are are
friends of mine and customers. Sowell, Kitty Kitty is just asking,
(38:07):
could you dip with Paranormal Team logos? Oh, yes, I can do.
I can do logos. Yep,I can I can customize like the
battery, the battery cover. Ican do uh, different things, different
things like that with vinyl. UM. But this one here, I got
(38:30):
a cricket myself. Yep. They'reThey're great, They're easy to use and
and it really helps me a lotwhenever whenever I do stuff with U with
vinyl as far as masking things offand stuff like that, so I can
get pretty uh, I can dopretty pretty intricate things, pretty like pretty
small and detailed. Um. Butthis one here, this one is hydro
(38:53):
dipped. I don't know how wellyou can see it, but it's green
and black. Well I'm colored blind, so I can't. It might be.
Oh, but they're if you getto the if you get to them
the dead light page. I dohave all of the other ones that i've
hydro dip before. Um, they'reon there. But but to answer Cindy's
(39:14):
question, you could do a rainbowcolored one. You could pick uh,
there's colors and we can HydroD dipit that way. But it is a
twenty dollar feature because I have tobuy the paint twenty dollars. I said
it, you heard it right here, folks, twenty dollars and one of
(39:35):
the one of the other features Ihave is called pathway lighting. So you
know, you were saying that theselights are large. They are fairly large
because they're a nice wide angle beamof light. You have the diffuser to
smooth out your But that's awesome. It's awesome that they're that big, though,
you know. I mean, youget some of these that you purchase,
and there's in fact that have onehere somewhere. I mean that's just
(39:58):
a small, like half the inchthing and it's got like I'm gonna say,
sixteen lights in it, and thereally small lights, but it doesn't
light up any more than you know, some of these other, you know,
cheap ones that you can get.Maybe in a smaller room it would
be okay, but when you're outsideor you're in a larger area, you
need more. You need more.I remember that, folks, when you're
(40:19):
outside, you need something bigger. But the pathway lighting feature as actually a
customer came to me and wanted hewanted two white LEDs on the bottom of
the lights so that he could turnthem on and he could see where he
was walking. So I built thatand I added that feature and offered it.
(40:45):
I offered it in two sizes. There's a small LEDs that's ten dollars
and it's they're not really bright, but when you're in you know, just
complete darkness, it's still lights itup enough so you can see where you're
walking. And then you have themore extreme one that this is the large
pathway. This is uh the twowhite LEDs on the bottom there. But
(41:07):
it looks pretty cool everything. Itdoesn't mess up your view, it doesn't
blind anybody because they're facing down andyou can have them on and film.
That's smart, you know what Imean? That's smart because how many times
have you walk through with your cameraand you're going and then you have to
have a damn flashlight just to seewhere you're going. Where you could have
(41:30):
a dead light there with those onthe bottom already lighting up below you,
you know, that would be great, that'd be awesome. Yep. And
I started working on some other thingsI had. You know, all the
ideas that I offer aren't aren't allmine and justice, you know, some
of those come from customers say hey, can you build this for me?
(41:52):
And then I just I put itup to offer it to, you know,
to others. So there are somecustom things that I've that I've built
UM. I've built stuff using motionsensors with uh LEDs UM. I'm in
the process of making, designing andbuilding a a a box basically with with
(42:14):
motion sensors on it and strings ofLEDs UM. They're like a close proximity
so sensor. So it's it's differentthan some of the other things that are
out there. This this has tobe UM I'd say, within six inches
of the sensor in order to activateit. So it has to be something
close. So basically that this pieceof equipment should technically if you leave it
(42:37):
alone in a room and don't goin there and then you know, leave
it in the dark, it shouldnever turn on. But you need to
use you know, you need toput a camera on it so that you
can witness that kind of thing. You need to have recorders in there.
You need to have other equipment alongwith it so they so you have you
know, maybe maybe one of theone of the sensors goes off and lights
(42:59):
up a string of LEDs on thaton that board and you have an EVP
at the same time, something likethat, you know, something that could
happens at the same time. Ithink pretty much. If you're using anything
like that, you're gonna have tohave a camera anyway. I mean,
that's that's right, that's the onlyway to do that. Well, yeah,
because you're not gonna witness anything. You may come back. If you
just said it in a room andyou don't put a camera on it,
(43:20):
and you come back and it's on, You're like, well, why is
it on? I mean, youhave to have somebody watching it going oh
up, the lightness went on.That's not happening now when everybody's out on
the investigation. Nobody's going in thisroom. We need a camera on it.
So that was, you know, that was a customer's idea. He
sent me the video, a YouTubevideo, and he wanted me to build
it exactly like it was in avideo. So it was big, like
(43:45):
it was a big panel of LEDsand so this this one that I'm designing
and building is a lot smaller.Something you can put on a tripod.
Um. I actually have it herebehind me, but it's not put together
or anything, but um, Ican show you. But here that's where
the sensors and the LEDs are gonnago. Nice if you can kind of
(44:07):
it's kind of hard to see butthat you can see. But this is
something that I designed in three Dprinted. What kind of sensors are they?
So they're motion sensors, just motionsensor but yeah, but they're they're
they're close. Yeah, you haveto be close to to set it off.
It's not something that'll pick up something, you know, movement across you
(44:29):
know, across the room or anythinglike that. You have to be really
close. So this one's gonna have. This one has uh, four sensors
and four LED strings attached to it. So so up here I would have
I would have a sensor and thenI would have a string of LEDs and
then I alternated it so on onthis side you have a sensor and then
the string of LEDs goes this way, so it just kind of alternates all
(44:50):
the way down, so it kindof mixes it up. Um, we
might make you need to get oneof those that need to check it out.
I am gonna have. I amgoing to build another. This one's
for a customer. But and thisis actually the first one I designed and
three D printed this one, ummyself, okay, Josh, So so
we want to test one out.So how much is it going to cost
us. I don't even I haven'teven priced it yet, but I will.
(45:15):
I will have one, and Iwant one we want to out.
I will have your official tester.I will have one at the bash.
I will have one at the bash. I'm going to build another one.
We'll just make sure you have onefor us though. So okay, but
is it possible to um have itwhere you're where it's more sensitive for the
(45:37):
motion detector? Is it possible tohave that depth and that range right for
if I if I would use adifferent sensor. Yes. I made another
one for a customer. He wantedone that stretch, that would stretch down
a hallway. Yeah, and hecouldn't find anything like that. So what
(45:58):
I did was I took these sensorsand you can set the timer on them,
so whenever they set up off andlight up your lads, you want
them to turn off pretty quick,so you don't want them to last,
you know, stay on very long, so you can set the timer on
them. And so what I didwas I used five sensors and this string
and had a string of LEDs afterit. And this was one power source.
(46:22):
So I had to make my ownwiring harness so that when you when
you plug all the strings in thatyou you could activate any of them,
you know, any any of themat any at any time, so you
could activate the middle one. Iwon't. Dustin is the one that showed
(46:47):
me the video and said he wantedone of those. Uh, one of
those built. But Bob says, here, Josh, we'll love to see
a unit that reads the frequency realtime like it's spectral ana analyze their hand
out. Oh boy, I wouldhave to do research on that one.
Yeah. But if I ever getcaught up on lights, I'll If I
ever get caught up on lights,I'll have I'll have time to do this
(47:09):
kind of thing, is Josh,I have. I have been sitting at
an idea for about five years.Yes you have, my friend for a
new style rempot. Yes you have, and I am looking for somebody to
build it. Well, talk tome either at Gettysburg or a message me
(47:31):
before and and I can. AllI can tell you is that I can
research it and see if it's somethingthat you know that I that I can
built. I have ideas like thisall the time. Because I've been in
this field for thirty seven years.I have seen so many things and so
pieces, and there's a lot ofgarbage out there, and I really want
(47:52):
to see something that will pinpoint alittle more than what we've got because you
know, Cindy knows that I saythis all the time. We are chasing
our tails in this field. That'sall we're doing. We're not going outside
the box here. I mean,we need to start coming up with newer
ideas and better ways of detecting andcapturing evidence quote unquote. And you know,
(48:17):
the whole thing that people are claimingis evidence today, most of it
is garbage. You know, it'sit's it's nothing, you know. So
we need to we need to expandto come up with new ideas. So
people, get your ideas together rightand down. Give it to somebody that
writes this stuff. And gosh,so if I was doing it over because
(48:38):
my girlfriend and I have done thisbefore where we've stayed at a hotel and
we both have been woken up bycertain things. So is it possible to
use like one of your motion lights? But is it too bright that it
would wake us up? It ispretty It is pretty bright. Now if
(49:01):
you get some of the colors arenot as bright as like white, you
know, like like green. It'sstill it's still bright, but it's not
it's not like white light. Thewhite light seems to be the brightest.
But I mean, if you pointedit in a different direction instead, it's
not at you, I think itwould be okay. Thing and point it
(49:22):
the opposite way, like so thehead of the head of the bed next
to us, and point it outlike toward the foot of the bed,
because that's normally, like if you'regoing to get any kind of action during
the middle of the night, you'rewanting to go towards your feet and come
to you that way. Now,you would want to if you put it
(49:44):
like at the head of the bed, you would probably want to put it
up pretty high. So if you'resomebody that like flails around or something where
you're sleeping, you, yeah, you don't want to. You don't want
to set it off. Yeah, yeah, you don't want to set it
off. I understand it. Imy thought was putting it on a um,
(50:06):
folks, I have RLS, Sotrust me when he says failing.
When you have RLS, your yourlegs go all over the planes. Trust
me. So you would need toput it up high enough so that you
know even I don't know if youlevitate or not, but if you would,
if you would levitate, so youwould want to maybe, I don't
know, you're not levitate whenever you'retesting that out. But you know what,
(50:29):
here here's a thought, and it'ssomething that I've always wanted to find
out if it was possible. Youknow, when you try to rob a
bank on TV, you see thatthey have all these lasers everywhere, right,
were right? Why not find away to put a laser in something
like that that can go from thedevice to say the doorway, you know
(50:52):
what I'm saying, or or somewhereelse or something is we're being told is
going back and forth. And theonly way the lights come on if they
break that. Oh there is somebodyhas something like that, they do.
I've seen it, Yeah, Isaw it. Somebody had made one.
I think they call it. Whatdid they call it? If it was
a trip wire or something like that, But it was a laser. You
(51:14):
had a sense, you had asensor thing and you had a laser.
And if that, if that getsbroke, you know, if that breaks
the laser, yeah, the pinpoint. But if it doesn't sense that laser,
it sets it off. See,but I would think you would have
to have it set to a certainum spectrum. I guess because you don't
want dust to set it off.You don't want to bug to set it
(51:34):
off. You want something, youknow, tangible, something you know,
like a shadow. You know.I'm not saying I don't know more than
a bug, but you know, who the hell knows. I don't even
know if a shadow would set itoff. I think it has to be
something physical. I don't. Idon't think. Yeah, I don't,
and I don't. So technically that'sanother piece of equipment that technically should not
(51:57):
work. But you have to teststuff like that. You have to tell
stout um you know, will willwalkie talkie set it off? Will something?
You know? Anything you know, like like these close proximity sensors.
If you have it turned on,and I think if you point an IR
light at it, I think itwill set it off. So I think
you have to have the IR lighton and then turn you know, turn
(52:19):
the turn the light on. Imean, dustin was tough. There's a
ton of stuff we could come upwith, and sitting here discussing this,
I mean there's temperature, there's youknow a movement. There's there's so many
things that could be done. Ithink my problem with it is who in
the hell wants to keep paying twohundred to two hundred and fifty dollars for
a rampid. I don't because Ican't prove that the damn thing works.
(52:42):
Anyways, they make uh they alsomake diy kits where they send you the
stuff and you put it together,or they make um like many ones that
you can that you can get.Now. They're not as um, they're
not as like the quality of themisn't as good as like like the actual
ram odd but um, but theywork. I mean, they do their
(53:04):
thing, and I don't I don'tthink they're They're so expensive that you know,
if one would break that you canjust guess. I guess. I'm
just looking for something that will helpus in the field prove or disprove that
this stuff is happening because it's it'sit. I don't think we actually have
a piece of equipment in the paranormalfield that actually does. There's claims,
(53:27):
but I don't think we have somethingthat actually can give you fat you know,
unfortunately, but it'd be nice becausewe need to get we need to
expand we need to move forward becauseI really can't think of a time where
I caught something or or even whilefilming documentaries, you know, some part
I'm part of Interface death and that'swhat we would we had done in the
past, was film these documentaries andput them on YouTube. I don't think
(53:50):
we've ever caught anything that was like, uh not and not it. I
don't say this is as as itbeing proof, but something that maybe we
can't explain. I mean, Justin'sreally good at debunking things, and I
don't think we've caught anything on youknow, I don't get something that makes
you go, what the hell madethat happen? You know? I get
(54:14):
that, you know, and thenyou have to go back and you have
to try to recreate it and figureout what it is, you know.
I get, I get all that, okay, But somewhere I'm just saying
that for us. I mean,I appreciate what you do with lighting to
help in that. I just thinkthat we need to focus more on something
that's gonna give us more with thewith the lights, It's it's easy because
(54:37):
it does exactly what exactly what Isay it does. Yeh, yeah,
it will light up the room whenyour camera. You know, there's no
there's no gimmicks, there's you know, nothing like that. It's it's not
a gadget or a a novelty itemor like something for the thrill seeker that
(54:59):
likes likes things that that you know, that kind of light up different colors,
and and this sets it off andthat it's it's a it's an iron
light and it does exactly right. That's that's I mean. I mean,
and if you had a camera on, you couldn't just like something happened.
You wouldn't be you couldn't say,oh, let's city. We've talked about
(55:21):
this before. Because there is aspectrum of light I believe, if not
a couple more that we do notknow about, because there are plenty of
times that people are using a camerato capture something. They see it with
their eyes, but they don't seeit with a camera. Yeah, you
know what I mean. So we'remissing something somewhere. And so that's why
I'd like to see more spectrums oflight being used. I'd like to see
(55:44):
you know, all of it,just because I mean, I mean,
there are there are people that thatuse you know, I've built lights that
had green and blue LEDs and UM. Yeah. Now and I've done I
have truthful spectral, yeah, ultraultravit I built a UM. I built
a light for Nick Groff that wasthat was a forty watt ultra violet light
(56:07):
he had. There was some experiment. We haven't seen it yet because his
UM Deathwalker show isn't it doesn't broadcastin you know, it was weird,
but he does a He uses itfor an experiment. That's all I know.
I don't know what for. Idon't know, but I just uh,
I know that he has one.I've done that too. You know,
I've used ultra violet, you know, and in places where I've investigated,
(56:30):
and it's it's well, you know, what's indy. It's really weird
because even when I used it,we caught like it was weird. You
know how you get those light anomalies. You know, people call them tubes
or something like that, or barsand all that stuff. But we were
in a farmhouse or farm or no, it was actually a barn and the
(56:52):
light. We we tried it withregular UM army No, it's anyways that
I'm saying. We tried the militarygrade night vision. We've tried regular night
vision, we tried UM so manydifferent things, and then finally the ultra
(57:15):
violet. But when we came outthis thing, just when it came across,
I mean it was it was weird. It was like a whitish.
You have to remember them colorblind,so I can't really tell you, but
it was bright enough, you know. And then the reality is is that
we come down to saying that itwas a bug, but it was still
really cool that how the lights, you know, were different, and how
(57:38):
it showed this thing. I wonderif you being color blind, if you're
if maybe you're missing something that somebodysees, or maybe you see something because
you're Colorblindy if I've actually seen somethingthat nobody else has seen. And the
cameras were on and the cameras didn'tcatch it, but I thought and I
(57:58):
thought I was going crazy, andI've I beat myself up for years over
it. And then I talked tosomebody else I had the same incident I
did, and it's happened three times, the same location, same everything,
and I'm just like, I seeI've made I've made lights with full spectrum,
(58:19):
lads, and they call it truthfullspectrum. But it's really not the
whole spectrum. It's only actually arange of that spectrum. It just has
it's just a wider range than thanwhite or red or green or UV.
You know, therese are certain certainthose are each certain areas of the spectrum.
Now the truth full spectrum has likea pinkish hue to it, but
it's still not No. Well,I mean it depends on how how deep
(58:46):
of a sleeper you are. I'ma light sleeper for them probably probably,
though it would probably bold and colorallow me to still remain sleeping form I
are because it's not visible. Yeah, oh would I want that? But
would it set off the motion detector? Well, don't if you don't point
(59:07):
it at it. I'm going todo another experiment with it. But I
do know that i R can setit off. But once you get it
set Yeah, Actually, if it'syou really don't want it to be i
R. I would say, becausethe the motion sensors picks up motion,
and the LEDs that whenever it's activated, whenever they turn on it's regular light,
(59:29):
it's not i R. So maybeyou would want it to be just
in the dark. Now you'd belooking at a blank screen. But when
it come on, you would youwould definitely see it. M there you
go, Eric equipment, horrible quality, super high price. What'd you say,
(59:55):
honey, Yeah, no, it'sone of the they were talking about.
Um hoop. Sorry, Okay. There are way more variables in the
paranormal than we can uncover, right, exactly right. Well, and that's
true too. I mean that's moneystands in the way. Have a lot
(01:00:19):
of things, folks. There mightbe some some really expensive scientific equipment out
there that might be able to aidin that kind of research. But I
understand this now she's talking about sothe spirit said that that I are burned
and preferred ultra violet. Interesting.Interesting, So I think I think it's
(01:00:44):
good to experience our experiment with differentdifferent lights, but you almost have to
use the same same camera and haveI think we have to. It's not
it's not just like I think wedidn't need to do more experiments with everything
that we have, and we haveto start the king outside the box,
start using things that we even thethings that that makes no sense. Why
(01:01:05):
would that work? Makes no sense? But how many times the science themselves
said it's not going to work,It shouldn't be some of the best yet
it works. Some of the bestthings that were created. Was an accident.
Yeah, right like that, likelike like bubblegum like me, yes,
(01:01:30):
can you believe it's after nine already? Right? Because quick? Because
quick? I hate I hate thisoutward thing. But I told you you're
going to be able to stick toit. That's okay, we can we
can go over one a freaking monthanyway. So I am. I am
(01:01:52):
trying to do, you know, new stuff, design new stuff. I
do have one more thing to showyou, but I have other things that
I'm working on. But uh,I with working full time, trying to
get built, lights built. ButI'm you know this, this shop that
I'm in is is very small. So you know, when I set up
for to do a certain process inthe in the build, you know,
(01:02:13):
once that's done, I got toclean everything up and set up for the
next process. So what I didwas I bought a building. So I'm
moving the shop outside into another intoanother building, and I'm mostly done with
it. There's some little things Ineed to do yet, but then I
can start the move process. Idon't know when that's going to happen yet,
(01:02:34):
but but I'll be able to havestations and cheap lay it uni cheap
labor. I do my girlfriend's daughter. Her her boyfriend said he would be
more than happy to help me moveall the heavy stuff over there. So
there you go. But I meanthelping you with the lights, making the
lights as well. Oh yeah,it's kind of hard to do. I'm
really picky. So I knew youwere gonna say that. It's like it's
(01:02:58):
your quality. You want this tocome out. No, no, no,
I have to make it. Ihave to do it. I know
that some I know that a lot, a lot don't use key two meters
anymore. But I did have somebodycome to me and wanted, uh something
to um to put it well,to put the K two in to stand
it up because it won't you know, it won't stay up on its own.
(01:03:21):
So you have you know, youhave your your K two. So
I I designed this um this standand this this has twisted Paranormal's logo on
it. So that's okay, thisis what's what's for them. But is
this is the uh, this isthe stand and get it can get it
right here. So it's it's youknow, pretty pretty basic, but it
(01:03:43):
you know the K two just goesin it. I mean, it's it's
very simple. It's three D print. And but the reason they want that,
it's because the sensor is on thetop. Correct Is it on the
top or is it Uh, Idon't know. I never head one open.
I'm not sure where the sensor is. I think the sensors on the
top, on the top. AndI know a lot of people wanted to,
(01:04:06):
uh, you know, have them, so they stood up. But
so I want to step further andI made it so that the slides out
and you can put it on atripod. Okay, that's awesome. Okay,
so yep, that's I have someof these printed out for Twisted Paranormal
(01:04:30):
so they can uh show them oruse them at their Haunted Nights events.
Sam Sam Thomas listen, listening, just loading Kayak one rod Latin. Yeah,
we know when you were asking aboutyou were asking about logos and stuff
and some of them, some ofthem I can do. But this was
(01:04:50):
one that that's actually so it's raisedright, Yeah, it's raised up se
beautiful, but uh, this isthis is actually a cover that I designed.
It's a magnetic cover that will goover the top of the motion sensors
(01:05:11):
and the LEDs because it's it's kindof neat because things are it's not just
LED's poke and sensors poking out throughthe face of it. It's actually I
did it a little bit different, and it's actually like the LED strings are
exposed, a little bit of thewiring is exposed. The whole circuit board
with a sensor on, it's exposed, so it's, you know, it's
a little bit different. So Idesigned this magnetic cover so that when you're
not using it, you just putthe cover on and and you put it
(01:05:34):
in your case or whatever. Andloves three D printer. He loves it.
And I'll be getting more so onceI have this bigger shop, I'll
have more room for more printers andI can print things a little a little
faster. But use I've been usinga lot of time, right, it
does take a long time. Idon't know how much time I have in
(01:05:54):
this one. But there's over herefor a second. I mean, i've
never seen it three D print work. To be honest with you, I've
never seen one works. You don'twant to watch it because it's like it's
like watching dry Oh my gosh.Yes, but I had I did a
notary job and the guy made theMandalorian mask. Un freaking believable. It
(01:06:20):
was amazing. He did the Mandalorian'shelmet. Now a time lapse of a
print being done, that would becool. That is neat. I've seen
those that that's neat. I've made. I've made something. I've made something
to do that with an older printerthat I had. But there was something
that you know, there's another here'sthere's another experiment that Justin wants to do,
(01:06:48):
Like we want to try and captureum battery drage. So and this
is a very simple This is avery simple thing. It took, This
took It has multiple components and ittook uh I think thirty seven hours total
(01:07:09):
to print. But it's it's sovery simple, and you have to use
a camera to uh to monitor it. I'm working on some other things that
that could possibly the monitor it foryou. But but this is very simple.
But this is a like a likea battery meter. Oh cool.
(01:07:30):
So this monitors eighteen six fifty batterieswhich goes in the back and you have
a little LCD screen here and youhave an analog meter here that monitors voltage,
so when you turn it on,you know, the you can see
it awesome. And the other onewill actually activate everything so you can monitor
(01:07:55):
that. So it'll monitor voltage, current, all that stuff, and this
one just monitor's voltage so you canjust um monitor that. But like I
said, you'd have to have acamera on it, you know, to
kind of monitor your your drainage literallyfor like her piece of equipment. Though,
so if you had it next toa specific camera or something, it
would not It only detects what youput in the back. So technically,
(01:08:20):
if you're monitoring with a camera andyour camera dies unexpectedly, this isn't gonna
pick it up because that camera isjust monitoring. So it's it's very very
simple. And and this is like, uh, if something would happen to
this, that would be a longshot. Hm. So and that's that's
part of experimenting a lot of things. They're they're not very they're not very
(01:08:45):
interesting. They're not uh you know, it's not like the K two.
The K two going off a couplea bunch of time watching eight hours of
video. Yeah, well, wellI let this thing go before and I
turned it off after twenty four hours. It was still running. So,
um, it doesn't drain very quickly. So and it shouldn't because if if
(01:09:05):
something was going to drain it andit drained quickly, they'd be like,
hey, this thing's supposed to last, you know, a couple of days,
and it and it died in acouple of hours. So but you
can also put it on a tripod. And this is just a test piece.
But I'll display this, uh atGettysburg too, just like another judge.
Yeah, and I have another one. I have another one here and
(01:09:26):
it monitors double as which I'm havinga little bit of problems with the LCD
screen. Have to try something elseto see if I can get it,
get it to work. But um, yeah, it monitors all kinds of
stuff. So the you know, the the more scientific, um, you
know approach, you know, peoplethat have the more scientific approach that right,
you know, can use that kindof thing. Eric, You're right.
The simpler, the simpler it hasmade, the less likely something will
(01:09:56):
part. Yeah, I get it. Yes, that's exactly true. And
maybe and possibly less false positives. It depends, because you know, like
there's uh, I'm not judging anybody, but cat balls. You know,
something simple like that. UM,a lot of a lot of false positives.
Um, there's a lot of equipmentlike that out there that are used
in paranormal. All those little catballs, the little light ones. When
(01:10:18):
you move them, they go on. So we don't use a whole lot
of equipment. Well, we usea lot. There's a lot of equipment,
but mostly filming stuff. But asfar as investigating, yeah, we
use like am exactly what I wasthinking. Um, like a mail meter,
We'll use a mail meter. Wehave an EEDI plus. Um,
we do have a rampod. Wedon't use it very loves even though it's
(01:10:43):
not proven. Shit, I loveit, did I think I did?
I was curious though, Josh, like, do you ever put some of
these other things in with your lights? Like some of them want to see
like temperature? Can you do that? I've never tried it, but some
(01:11:04):
of the lights are you know, like the Necro night shot, the one
that I told you that's I Rand it's white white light. Um.
It is jam packed with with wiringand components to make it work. UM.
I can't fit a whole lot morein it, you know, because
you know it has the ion lights. They do get warm, so I
(01:11:26):
need I need to properly ventilate, you know, have have some uh you
know, air flowing. So there'sa lot of things that that you can't
add to something like that, um, because there's so much to it already.
UM. Now some of the otherlights, UM possibly I know uh
people who have asked me to adduh things you know to the lights.
(01:11:51):
Um. But it's something that I'mI'm just gonna have to gonna have to
work on. And you know, with working full time and everything. I
mean it is it is to havethat extra touch. It sounds like it
sounds like you know what you're doing. It sounds like that you're willing to
do the experimentation. It sounds likeyou're willing to put your all into this
stuff. And I'm gonna say thisthat it's it's better to have somebody like
(01:12:12):
you working on this stuff, youknow, that's willing to do all that.
So if you're not getting the falsepositives, are trying not to,
I should see and you're you're doingyour level best to make good solid equipment,
you know, and the deadlight isa solid product. Hell, we
know we've just learned today you canrun it over um, you know,
(01:12:36):
David Siler, Shush, David Siler. But you know, um paranormal in
cans join us guys, they arehere also. But I really like you
know what you're what you're telling us, I really do. Gosh, I'm
really really curious about that motion todag your bet. But I would need
(01:12:59):
it more than inches. It wouldhave to go farther out. Why isn't
that women always need it more thansix inches? Because we are liking I
mean, listen, listen, welike the smaller stuff to you, as
long as they know how to useit. All right, girls, and
boy, come on na, becauseI tell the truth. You want to
(01:13:26):
put me off. Oh Josh,I'm really happy that you decided to join
us tonight. That thank you somuch. I mean, this is uh
And you at at Gettysburg again.Yeah, yep, I can't. I
can't wait to go. Well,I would like to spend more time with
people like this at at the bashon the radio network when we're there.
(01:13:47):
I would love to set it,spend more time with people that create um
lights, gadgetry, anything that helpsmove us forward, because I think we
need that, you know, Yeah, sure, I mean I would I
would sit down with you guys.I know you. You guys broadcast throughout
the weekend and stuff and have variouspeople sit down with you. So yeah,
yeah, I would love to sitdown. How long to keep on
(01:14:09):
the beard so that we can tomake sure there's nothing living in there.
I cleaned it out because I knewit was going to be on the show
this evening. But yeah, Ishook everything out, so I don't want
anything to distract anybody. Dude,I just you know, hey, Hi,
(01:14:30):
the thing's got a good sense ofhumor. He is. He fits
right in here tonight, and that'sthat's awesome because we love it when our
guests are like us, you know, just you know, good people that
just want to have a good time. Uh. This year, Josh should
be able to hang out more afterthe event days and Parte does Josh Parte?
(01:14:55):
Yes, I have, I have, I did and I did last
year. I don't know if youremember not, but we stayed up.
You remember we stayed up pretty late. I think it was about three o'clock
before we Uh, I think youwere ended the party last last year and
uh, Teddy, Teddy's usually alate light. I may have had a
little I was it was at awedding, and uh, it was actually
(01:15:17):
the same day as my birthday andit was last last weekend, so I
may or may not have partied ordrank. Not party too much, but
drank too much. And uh yeahand maybe I got sick. Yeah,
(01:15:38):
probably that is not confirmed. Heis not nor denying or confirming that happened.
Yeah, there's there's there's pictures thatprove it. Oh, dear Josh,
just that he's done. He's done. So I'm not I'm not.
I'm not done, but I'm I'mI'm done taking it that far. Which
(01:16:00):
you know, I didn't realize thatI that I had drink that much.
And um, you know, becauseyou know, everybody's having a good time.
Everybody's talking and joking around and everythingand having you know, having a
good time, and we're having agood time last year. Yeah, and
then and then before I knew it, Uh, I had drink wait too
much. The older we get andever resident personality and just don't drink.
(01:16:33):
Well, you can have fun andbe sober too. But but this was
a wedding. There was a therewas a bottle of liquor rum. Uh.
It was Captain Morgan Private stock iswhat it was, and it was
bought for me because I was helpingout at the wedding and I also offered
to do some drone footage at thewedding. Light. I need an ur
(01:16:56):
eye light for this thing. Justyou went, just an IR light in
there. No, what I'm sayingis is when I put my I put
my phone or my camera in here, and I want to light. The
problem with that is the balance. It's designed for a specific weight for that
for that came. Is that forlike a cell phone? Yeah, for
(01:17:18):
the cell phone or like an actioncamera or something like that. Yeah,
you can put your you can putyour what I told you what they were
in the beginning with go Yeah, that's it, go bro. So the
problem with that is when you whenyou like add an IR light to it,
if it's if it's two, ifit's not very small, it can
(01:17:40):
it can throw off that balance andthen your gimbal's not gonna work as well.
What you could do is if there'sa tripod mount on the bottom,
you could put the IR light onthe bottom. Actually there is. And
then I've had I've had customers whereit had a one of the larger scale
(01:18:00):
gimbals where they actually have like aDSLR camera on there. Um they've mounted
the light to the bottom of thehandle because you just you know, it's
designed specifically for for a camera, and then you get if you put a
light on it or whatever, andthen you you're getting that weight way out
there and it's just not going tobalance right. So they did put it
on the bottom of the of thehandle. And Derek is saying here that
(01:18:24):
Jess made him sleep in the newshop. Not yet, but I might
end up there. I might.I might. I might get a microwave
and a small refrigerator. He's alldone at the Tanna. He's there for
life and and and the neighbor. The neighbor gives me leftovers all the time.
He always he'll call and he's like, we don't eat leftovers. He's
(01:18:44):
like, hey, do you wantyou want this or that or uh,
you know, all kinds of stuffthat, Yeah, I would bring it
over. So and he has akey. He has a key to my
shop. So so I told himearlier today, actually, sure you're gonna
give him a key. He's gonna, I said, I said, don't
don't bring it to the house.I said, if I put a fridge
in the you know, in theshop, you have a key, just
(01:19:05):
bring it over there and put itin there, send me a message or
just you know, or just putit in a refrigerator and I'll see it.
I'm like, oh, look,I got something to eat, so
I got I got another question foryou, Josh. Do you know anybody
that takes cell phones that have thecameras in them and turn them into night
(01:19:25):
vision or infrared? I don't knowany Well, you might try gotcha ghosts.
You might try to message them andsee if they can modify phones.
I know a lot of people haveasked me about, um modifying cameras for
I are there are like like thego PROSSJ cams and the Zoom Q two
ends. I can modify those, but um, anything outside of that,
(01:19:47):
I really can. I have anold Samsung that I would love to modify.
It's a bigger phone and has thedual you know, cameras on it
and all that stuff. But thatit's so much eas you to use something
like that, you know, andI don't understand why why that option isn't
on a phone yet, because youhave Sony so many handicamp for years,
(01:20:09):
I mean for years way back instandard definition resolution, your standard definition you
know, the cam porders a littlehandicaps. They always had that that that
night shot and they and they stilldo this day. Now they have you
know, I have an AX onehundred Sony X one hundred. It's like
a prosumer camera and it shoots infour K and it has it still has
(01:20:30):
that night shot option. I meanPanasonic has it now. There's some Panasonics
that have that option. My phone, I have a night shot option and
my Samsung and it's a little bitdifferent like I've seen. Uh. I
did have a customer message me somepictures they took up. No, it's
in my phone itself. It's soI have pro panorama, food, night
(01:20:51):
portrait, portrait video, pro video, super slow most low motion, hyper
lapse, and dual recording. Idid have a customers tell me that his
his phone, this was a fewyears ago, he could take uh night
vision photos, but he couldn't doit on video video. That's what I
(01:21:14):
was and the other the other problemis the sensor is so small in those
cameras because the cameras are so smallto fit on the phone. So some
of the some of the larger cameras. You can fit a larger sensor in
there. It's letting me more lightand it's going to pick up that IR
a lot better. It's only gonnalet me do pictures I think of the
(01:21:34):
night. Yeah, yeah, Iknow what. Bob. Send that to
me in a I'm my messenger thatway I have it because I can't call
them through here. I'll forget itwith all that you got Spencer's camera dot
(01:21:54):
com. Send me that through amessenger. And Derek said, the last
time you look, the only companiesthat convert phones were in England and Germany.
Oh wow, I do I doknow somebody that was building equipment and
h he did convert a particular phone. It was an older phone, so
(01:22:18):
I don't think the resolution was verygood. Yeah. I have one too
that somebody did for me and whichis great. But I like to have
a newer style phone that I havedone, you know what I mean?
Because the older phones didn't have thepower, didn't have the you know,
the gigabyte or whatever you want.It didn't have the God, I can't
(01:22:44):
talk right now, yeah space,Yeah, been off top. But can
I dash cam be? Can ita dash cam be? As well as
an action camera. Possibly, itdepends. It just depends on the on
(01:23:06):
the on the specs of the ofthe camera. Yeah. You know,
they make the like the cameras thatwe're using on our computers. These here,
they make these that are night visionwhen you get night shot and night
vision on them. I'm wondering ifyou had some type of special port you
(01:23:27):
could put on a phone, youknow, and connect it, connect that
to the phone so that you havethe night vision. I wondering question.
So there's a lot of things thatwe can think about. Thank you,
Bob, But yeah, that wouldbe good. So we've got about five
minutes here and then we're gonna getoff. But I just stay tuned and
(01:23:49):
watch that. You gotta go.You gotta watch Ted. She'll run.
You know, you would think thatI would know by now it's been five
gotten man. But yes, anyway, Josh, give us, give us
uh, let us see Cindy puthis banner back up there again, and
(01:24:13):
Josh tell us you know what's goingon with you, where you're going to
be next, where people can findthat stop for how they get a hold
of you. So you can getahold of me by messaging the Facebook page
the Deadlight LLC Facebook page. Um. Probably the next event that I'll go
to will be the bash. Ohso that'll Yeah. I have been staying
(01:24:34):
home a lot more. Have beenso busy working on the new shop and
uh, you know things like that, and you know, obviously with the
price of gas and stuff, andit was really kept me home too much.
I just uh just trying to getcaught up, you know, I'm
trying to get the shop done andget moved in so I can be more
comfortable in there. And um yeah, and the bash, I'm and I
(01:25:00):
have uh, I will be youknow filming with um some some other uh
friends of mine, uh to helpthem, will be helping them to film
since we're you know, Justin's workingso much, he doesn't have a whole
lot of time to edit videos andstuff like that. Um, so we're
not we're not really filming right now, so I can I can go out
(01:25:24):
and uh A love it. Yep, that's awesome. Yeah, we really
appreciate you coming in, like Isaid, I mean, that's uh,
I thank you, say, Butum, it's always fun to talk with
somebody that you don't have some knowledge. It's helping the field in a positive
way. Um, we really appreciatethat. Um, before I get the
(01:25:49):
driving, thank you, Josh,Cindi and Ted, miss Vasting, Derek
Schreiner and awesome, there you go. Cool. When's the next episode?
It should be, Joe, doyou have it? Let me think here,
I think Chatty, you said itwas July July eighteenth. Is that
(01:26:12):
what it is? It is Julyeighteenth what I saw? Yep, yep,
yep, that's July eighteenth. Sothat's when we will be back.
So you guys make sure you writethat down and join us back here.
Um on Monday, July eighteenth ateight o'clock. UM, I will be
here with the guests. I'm notsure Cindy will be right away. She
(01:26:34):
usually takes seven to ten minutes toslide in and sneak in and whatever,
you know, so, but we'llbe here. You know. Josh and
I had a nice uh visual talkback and fort actually I saw him.
He didn't see me. If no, he saw me, I didn't see
whatever, but you know, sowe were still having fun in the background.
(01:26:54):
So yeah, that was. Nowthat now that Cindy has a boyfriend,
yeah, she's gonna be She's gonnabe late. I haven't talked to
my boyfriend. He's like, oh, I'll talk to you before long before
you're reading. I said, okay, I have not heard from him,
so yeah, I pam. OhBender, that's what I was gonna get
(01:27:17):
to you, get to you withbefore we get out of here. Was
my grandfather's last name was Bender.Interesting, I'm originally from western Pennsylvania.
That's where I grew up. Sois my family? Oh wow, yeah,
yep, Cambria County is where Igrew up. That's weird. We
(01:27:40):
may be related. That would beweird. It could be possible. That'd
be strange. Brenda that is mymom and my aunt Pamas my mom,
Brenda, Brenda's your aunt. She'sgot a great name. Livingston. M
love that last name. I presume. Hey, I live in Livingston,
(01:28:00):

much for joining us, your Joshagain, thank you for having me,
Thanks everybody for listening anytime, anytime, I mean, if we get to

one that was available. So Iguess you're sh huh. It's a month
after Pride, June and July. There's a lot of Pride stuff from the
