Parole per conoscersi
Perché il “diverso da noi” ci spaventa e ci fa allontanare negando a lui la possibilità di essere riconosciuto, accettato e ascoltato? Anche quando lo straniero parla la nostra lingua perché non siamo disposti a sentire ciò che può aver da dire? Queste domande retoriche e provocatorie hanno lo scopo di farci riflettere sulla condizione dell’”altro”, del “diverso”, del “barbaro” parola da intendersi nell’antico etimo di “straniero”. Barbaro nel significato moderno vuol dire “incivile, rozzo, di cultura e costumi arretrati e primitivi, incapace di parlare la lingua di chi lo ospita”. Ma anche quando la parlasse interesserebbe a qualcuno ciò che avrebbe da dire? Non di rado quando gli stranieri arrivano in nuove terre imparano la lingua del popolo ospitante anche molto bene e di certo, allora, potrebbero aver qualcosa di interessante da dire. Perché non ascoltarli dunque? La parola è fonte di comunicazione, arricchimento e crescita reciproca fra individui che hanno voglia di imparare ascoltandosi. Questo progetto nasce dal mio desiderio di “dare la parola” ad alcuni studenti della nostra scuola Cpia offrendo loro l’opportunità di usarla come strumento fondamentale per veicolare idee, pensieri, riflessioni e storie di vita in un’ottica di condivisione delle esperienze. Il progetto che propongo prevede la registrazione di podcast, in collaborazione con Web Radio Giardino, e ha lo scopo di far raccontare ad alcuni studenti stranieri del Cpia la propria vita, cultura, usi e costumi, tradizioni, organizzazione sociale, economia… Obiettivo finale del progetto è proprio quello di usare la parola come veicolo funzionale alla conoscenza reciproca e alla condivisione del proprio vissuto funzionali ad una crescita individuale reciproca . Anche lo straniero può avere qualcosa d’interessante da dire. Basta dargli la parola e aver voglia di ascoltarlo!
