I am going to pop Dexter or Original Sin.
So this is the prequel series that stars a younger Dexter and lots of the people that
we know recast for the roles as their younger selves and is going to be your perfect lead

in for Dexter Resurrection, which comes out, I believe, before the end of the year.
It might even be this summer.
And that is going to be the sequel to Dexter New Blood.
So I am all in on the Dexter verse.
I've seen every episode of everything.
Dexter Original Sin stars Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan.

They redo the original intro in it with him slapping the mosquito with all of the song.
And I don't know.
But for a second was I bored or taken out.
It's funny like the original Dexter series was rotes and you really get to see more of
what made Dexter into the man that he is today for better words.

And a lot more about Harry to in his relationship with Dexter's birth mom, the one that he was
chopped up in that shipping container.
That he was banging.
Yeah.
Maybe.
So, don't they talk about them the first one?

Well, then yeah, they talk about how they're banging it.

I didn't remember the base that that in the original show.
But yes, they were having white, the little scandalous affair.

This show is great.

This is essentially Dexter looking back at his life after the abits of Dexter new blood.

My pop is a movie that I know that you actually really liked and actually recommended that I should
watch.
And that is companion with your one and only.
It's so good.

It also stars Sophie Thatcher.
We have Lucas Gage who is on a freaking tear.
He is in everything we do.
Yeah.
And his agent deserves a bonus.
I know they work on commission, but he is keeping him booked and busy.
But if you've never heard of the movie, it is a science fiction thriller.

And it really focuses on these AI companions.
So it's like a sex bot that is also focused on a relationship, I guess, is the best way
to do it.
Like a robot girlfriend.
Yeah, a robot girlfriend.
Or boyfriend, they have boys too.
Yeah, they have boyfriends too.
But it is a weekend getaway that turns into chaos when Sophie Thatcher, the robot, becomes

sentient and things ultimately go, hey, why are you?
It is so good.
It's so feminist too.
It's so feminist.
Jack Quaid plays such a good, like, nice guy douche.
And yeah, I really, really loved the movie so much.

I thought that it was such an interesting take on it.
I think that as time goes on, we're going to get more and more of these AI commentaries,
both good and bad.
I think the first kind of couple AI movies, there was one on Netflix that I saw that was
so horribly bad.
There was a lot of AI like years ago with what Haley Joel Osman, I want to say.

Maybe.
I don't know.
But there are some really bad ones out there.
I liked the Megan Fox one as well.
It was still bad, but it wasn't that one as bad.
But yeah, I think that they have a lot of interesting things to say and questions to ask
us, but all around great, great movie.
So I want to know before you watch the movie, did you know that she was a robot?

The trailer kind of gives you the vibe.
I didn't know.
I was surprised.
Oh, you just went in blind.
Yeah, I went in totally blind because I knew Jack Quaid was in it.
And I do like Sophie Thatcher too.
I like her yellow jackets.
And you start to pick up little hint in the beginning of the movie, like kind of just
the way he's talking to her.

And you're like, wow, he's really fucking rude to her.
And you realize you really went grow up.
Get a backbone girl.
And it's a, well, it's your whole purpose.
Exactly.
And you're like, why is she with him?
Oh, okay, that makes sense.
So yeah, I love that movie too.
And I'm glad you liked it.
Yeah, it was really, really great.
So watch Dexter original sin on a showtime and companion on HBO Max.
