to be back on the show. It's an honor to be here with you
all tonight. Yes, it's suchan honor for you to come back.
That means we're doing something right. That's true. That is true. When
(07:17):
you go back to another to arestaurant, that being the first time,
the food must have been good.Absolutely well, Jakes, I'm gonna start
off with a shocking question. Okay, okay, all right, I'm starting
with a shocking question right now.Um umbroke. How do I fix it?
Oh? Jeez, well, you'regonna laugh. I'm gonna respond with
(07:43):
a shocking answer. And it's thefirst rule of holes. Stop digging early.
The nuggets are coming early. Ilike that. I say it again
one more time. I'm sorry again. Yes, my mentor years ago,
and shout out to all the mentors. That's why it's important to have mentors,
(08:05):
coaches, and teachers in your life. He made an off hand joke
one day. It was kind ofalong the same lines Rev. And it
was like, Man, I'm inthis thing and I'm stuck. What do
I do? And in my mentorasked the guy said, hey, um,
what do you do if you ifyou kind of dig yourself into a
(08:28):
situation? And the guy kind ofsat there blank and he said, what's
the first rule of holes? Andthen he looked at him, He's like,
what first rule of holes? Whatdo you mean? He said,
what is the first rule of holes? And he said, man, you
got me. I don't know you'retalking in riddles. He said, the
first rule of holes, especially whenyou've dug yourself into the situation, is
(08:50):
to stop digging. First of rulesand stuff that brother Jason, only to
preach my next sermon, I'm aboutto use that one. Hey, it
didn't come from me. I'm justpassing that. That is awesome right there,
man, because that's like I said, you open up the show just
(09:11):
on five, because that's an amazingjust that alone. By saying you can
just stop digging a hole, stopputting yourself in depth that getting a situation
that you need to you might startheading them back on top and getting that
is absolutely amazed and soul. Iwant to ask you this now, brother
Jason, because we all we metyou earlier the first show, so I
don't have to go back to yourchild and all that. So we're gonna
(09:33):
get right down the business now.Okay, sure, um, when you
look and let's let's look at us. Let's look at our race. You
know, this is a racing show. So everybody, black, white,
everybody listen. But us as apeople, what is the number one thing
that you think or you see thatcalls us to be in a hole and
(09:54):
to keep digging holes? What doyou what do you share that with our
listening to all this one thing,I'm gonna use one word. It has
a lot of layers to it,and I'll explain, but I'm going to
say indecisiveness. M Okay that there'slayers to that. So indecisiveness. I
(10:18):
say that because there's the whole thingabout financial education. So so some things
we don't know because some of ushaven't been exposed. You know, I
forget who wrote the I can't rememberif it was a book or a white
paper, the mis Education of theNegro and it kind of it kind of
(10:39):
gets there. So there's the educationpiece. But where we are indecisive is
there there's some of us, andof course I don't speak for every African
American, but there's so much stressand there's a lot of statistics with black
men and black women who are underso much pressure that at times it can
make us indoci and so if we'reunder stress, it's hard to receive wisdom.
(11:05):
There really is, and that's foranybody. So if you're under all
this stress. We got more singleparent than ever, We've got more divorces
than ever, We've got all thesethings going on. So the stress,
because we're not at peace, thataffects how we take end information, So
(11:26):
end decisive. Somebody comes along andsays something, because one thing we have
the advantage of in twenty twenty threeis we live in an information age.
So where information was harder to comeby, you know, fifty sixty,
seventy years ago, and now wehave the Internet. Now, I do
know, I get in certain areas, you know, an urban and some
(11:50):
rural areas. Internet access is stillkind of a thing. So I'm not
I'm not discrediting that because that doesand is happening. But we do live
in an information age, and sothere's there's more circulating now than there was,
you know, back in the nineteensixties or in the eighteen hundred.
(12:11):
But the endecisiveness is sometimes we can'tsee the forest because of the tree right
in front of us. So that'swhy I say and decisive has a lot
of layers. There's the stress, and we can't receive information, and that's
there's the miseducation right there. Alsowe have the other issue is it's hard
(12:31):
to synthesize the info. There's somuch information. While so and so said
to do this, well so andso said to do that, and human
nature, whenever there's too much goingon, I'm just gonna sit still because
I can't take a nugget and move. You know, knowledge is information,
(12:52):
but wisdom is application. Yes,so we're constantly taking stuff in, but
if we don't act on what's comingin, then we're not using wisdoms.
So not only do we have thestress causing inaction because we just can't.
We're not good receivers when we're stressedout, then we have all the info
coming in. While my brother inlaw said this, the radio person said
(13:16):
that, you said this. Youknow, my friend said that, and
then we're stuck. And so that'swhy I use that word. And I
know you got a lot of otherquestions and stuff to get to, but
I just I led with that becauseit's multi layered, and that that was
the word that came to mind isend decisiveness caused by several factors, and
(13:39):
two of them being the amount ofpressure we're under. And then just how
do you even filter through all theinformation for what works for you and yours
personally? Absolutely, and I lovethe fact that you said inform a lot
of information of too much information beingunder stressed. Those two factors definitely make
(14:03):
you freeze in fear. And Ibelieve the other answer to that question is
fear we're afraid of we of whatwe do not know. So, um,
you know many of us have lostmoney, you know, trying to
invest because we didn't know the rightthings. Um, didn't invest in the
(14:28):
right way and we lost. Sothe losing and the fear of losing again
is also a freeze factor. Yeah, so can you give us some tips
and tools on how to get unfrozen? Oh that's a great question, Lady
(14:52):
Kate. She came with the fearwell from a from a scripture standpoint,
God has not given us a spiritof fear, of the power of love
and a sound mind. Some translationssays self discipline. Yes, and so
it's living a life of like wesay faith over fear. So I'm not
(15:13):
saying that just to say a nicetagline, but it is. When we've
lost Lady k the thing is andlife will make mistakes. And so the
faith part, the faith, hopeand love with the word tells us we
have to be able to trust again, but trust and verify our resources and
(15:37):
then use wisdom and then act.So for example, if I had a
bad I don't know financial advisor,of one failure with one financial professional does
not invalidate the whole industry. Yeah, And what fear does is we go,
(15:58):
well, you know, I lostmoney with that financial advisors, so
I'm just not going to talk toany finance And it's like, wait a
minute, we can't make everyone payfor what one person did because some people
have one and are winning with agood CPA, a good financial advisor,
(16:18):
you know, a great business coach. There are people winning, So how
can I get into those circles? And that's where the faith comes in.
I have to learn to trust again, right, So I think that that's
part of it. Lady K isunderstanding faith over fear. And then failure,
(16:41):
real failure is quitting, okayo failuresquitting. So failure if we can
learn to view it through the lensof learning. Another mentor of mine said
fail fail, first, attempt andlearn, And so that's what I would
(17:03):
say. And that's why I usea financial advisor because I hear that all
the time. I'll lost some moneyto this advisor. But it's but if
you, if you kind of comeout of your own circle, somebody else
won with their advisors. So it'slike, well, what's the difference you
lost and somebody else won? Sowhat's what's what's kind of the average of
that situation. Well, that's whythey say you're the average of the five
(17:26):
closest people that you spend your timewith. So, especially if I want
to be a good steward of myfinances, then I need to get around
people and an environments where they managewell. Because the people who are operating
with that level of excellence, theyabsolutely have the resources, yes, and
(17:49):
so I might need to check thesources of my information and what environments am
I end. Yes, that's true. That's very very true. M.
We have got to be around wisdom. We definitely do. Amen. Amen.
Now I'm brother Jason, I'm gonnaI'm gonna come for you for help
(18:10):
right now, because the first cometo somebody for help, you have to
admit what you're doing wrong. Andonce you do that, that's going to
help your job be even easier.Right. Yeah, Absolutely, what I
figured out when it comes to financialburdens and financial holes and financial situation.
I'm just talking for myself, Okay, for myself. The thing that got
(18:33):
me in trouble as a young man. When I look back, Man,
if I put my money here,if I've done this, if I did
invest hereby I would have had waymore, would have been stable or stable
right out. And the one wordthat got to me, it's temptation,
okay, because instead of doing theright thing. Um, there's a tempt
(18:56):
there's a new car. There's anothernote I want to get into A would
have got a nice car. Butman, that new called jewelry stuff.
How do we and I know, spiritual warfare, you know, we can
say the scripture, you know, but how do we not allow temptation to
(19:17):
make us have because temptation actually goeson what you just said, being indecisive,
because when the temptation come on,you like, I don't know should
I? So how do we fightthat battle? Um, Jason? How
do people fight that battle? Rightthere? When this world is favored with
temptation? But I should be investing, I should be saved, I should
(19:38):
be doing this. But boar thatover there should all look good, right,
and it caused this? How doyou? How do you fight that
battle? Jason? Well, I'mgonna use the life of Joseph for an
example who faced great temptation. Weall know the story of Potiphar's wife,
but Joseph, that was just thethat was the moment. Joseph was already
(20:02):
that guy before she came, sothat he had a firm foundation on the
rock and he and so he hadbuilt up his integrity over the years,
and so a lot of times, rev when we think about temptation, it's
do I understand my blind spots? And do I understand what? Actually?
(20:27):
You know what If I get aroundthis, I'm no good. And so
I've got to have accountability. Andin first, as followers of Christ were
accountable to God and his word anddo I It's kind of a blunt question
for all of us, even me, Do I love God more than that
(20:48):
other thing? The lust of theflesh, the pride of life, and
the lust of the eyes is real? But do I love God and his
plan and for me and everything He'sasked me to do more than man?
It sure looks good to get thatnew or shore, looks good to go
blow a thousand dollars on, youknow me, because it's all about me
(21:11):
and I work hard and it's mymoney. But it's like, wait a
minute. You know he's the owner. You're a manager, right right,
So what are you doing with theowner's money? What are you doing with
the king's money? It's not myWe live on earth where we have things.
Listen, like head a household, you know, bread winner, business
(21:33):
owner, We own our car,we own our home. And that's true
on earth. But in the Kingdomwe're managers. You know. The Bible
says that he owns a cattle ona thousand pills, that the earth is
his, the animals, the heavens, and the heaven of heavens, and
the gold is his, the silveris his. That's referring to currency right.
(21:56):
And so a big part of thatrev is what is my foundation?
Because the foundation of life is trusttrust in God. But when you keep
going levels deeper, it comes downto who you are and who you are
becoming. And so where am Ifinding myself and what am I latching on
too? Because who I'm becoming. If I'm not becoming to a sanctification standpoint,
(22:23):
when I'm not focused on becoming morelike Christ, temptation just becomes too
easy. But when I'm becoming morelike Christ and I'm keeping I'm keeping my
mind stayed on him, and that'swhere the peace comes in. So when
I'm focused on him, now Igo, you know what, Lord,
(22:45):
what do you want me to dowith your money? M okay? And
I'm allowing the Holy Spirit because rememberhe's counselor right like we say he's helper,
we say he's counselor, he's advocated. He is all those things that
you have to allow him to be. So invite one of the things I
say from a like a business coachingstandpoint, and I and I talk about
(23:07):
this a lot in my book Fortified. Invite the Lord into I say,
business context, but invite him intoall aspects of your life so that you
can thrive. I believe that ourfinances can thrive if we invite him in,
right, I believe when he's notthere, Rev, it's easy,
(23:30):
it's easy to Oh man, wellthat came up. Man, oh man,
I did it again. I didn'tinvite him in. I just did
what I wanted to do. That'samazing. That's that's that's good, Stuffy.
I hope I listen. I wouldlisten to audiences hearing this is some
goods from Diamonds Free, you know. So I just want to thank God
(23:52):
for your information, thank God towhat you were sharing, you know.
And um, hey, at theend of the show, you get in
touch with this man here, becauseit's obviously I'm learning right now. UM,
that's listening to you and interviewing you. Now, Brother Jason, want
to ask you this other question nowbecause you've heard that you've heard this room
or I've heard this room, orI don't say I can't say what everybody
(24:14):
else I've heard that. Um,it's hard to be a millionaire. It's
hard to keep up with money. They're saying, like most millionaire can't sleep,
they have insomnia, and it's toomuch to worry about. They want
to where their money is doing, who to trust with their money, who's
handling their money? You know? And um in that statement right there,
(24:37):
Um, should that put a fearin someone that's desiring to be successful and
move forward? You know, ifI'm a millionaire, do I have to
my kids? Can I can theywalk to school or ride to school bus?
Or do you have to worry aboutmy wife being snatching all that?
All this stuff when you well, that's all the stuff and you're there and
(24:57):
that's that's all comes up and peoplemind It's like, Okay, I don't
want to be a regular somebody regularbecause you're not. One thing always blew
my mind, Jake, to thisvery day, Michael Jackson died because he
can't sleep as much money as thatman has a Look, that's why I
(25:17):
tell people that had to be somethingelse. I don't think it was due
you know that why he can't sleep? How do you have that much money?
Can't say? So? The questionI'm asking you is is there something
Is there are warning or something thatthat we should a red flag that we
should look out for. If thaton, when that success come where we're
(25:38):
like okay, I'm here I invested, I have it. I have the
millions, I have this set up, that set up, I have it.
If there is there a red flagthat someone should look out for,
should be aware of once they getthere, yes, something. Some part
of this comes back to the characterbuilding and who you are becoming, because
(26:03):
I've seen this happen so often.Whoever you are at five and six figures,
if you hadn't changed, that's whatyou'll be at seven. So if
you are a you know, Iwant to, you know, keep the
language clean. But if you area butthole and six figures, you're just
gonna be a bigger one at seven. Right. If you didn't have peace
(26:26):
at six, then you won't haveit at seven. And it's true.
So with Rev and you, youbrought up a good point. It's like,
man, they can't sleep. It'slike I have a sneaky suspicion that
they probably hadn't slept in a while. It's just their skill, their skills,
(26:47):
and this happens. Your skill andyour talent is so good and you
get so many passes and it coversa lot, but your your skill set
and your ability and your talents arecashing a check that your character can't handle
the like and I like, wesee this. I don't know, you
(27:11):
all keep up with the NBA news. This is happening with John Moran for
the Memphis Grizzlies. And I thinkit was Charles Barkley who said, which
this is the other side of theanswer, rev is when that happens,
you're things are different your world, expect your world to change. And you
know, when we see what's happeningwith John Morant, several analysts and former
(27:36):
NBA players are like, he's youknow, behaving as things are, and
it's like you're in a different worldnow, man with two hundred two hundred
million dollars contract, Like you're notin the neighborhood anymore. You're the face
of a franchise with contracts from Nike, and yeah, you're you're different,
you know, I I really do. My heart goes out to the young
(27:59):
man and I pray for him.But that's just kind of a living example
and he's just all over the newsright now. But that's what I would
say, red the red flags iswho are we becoming and what's our our
character development, what's our who whoare we in relationship with? That can
check us number one. The wordof God is first, Like like when
(28:23):
they talk about having a healthy fear, a healthy fear of the Lord,
like that starts with you before mom, dad, aunt's, uncle's, cousin's,
grandma and them come. It's like, you personally should have a healthy
fear of the I mean, thefear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom. The money says that, and so then we step out a layer
(28:44):
further and it's like, well,do you have men and women in your
life that can say, hey,Jason, what are you doing? Yes?
Right, right right? Like youyou yeah, you make this much
money, But man, I seesome stuff and I don't really like what
I'm seeing. What are you doingright? Yes? Yeah? And so
(29:04):
I think the big the big warningsrev. I know, I know,
it is kind of tie that togetheris where you're at right now if you're
not growing your spiritual maturity. Andthat's the inside layer in my I spend
(29:26):
time in the cohort and CBMC,the Christian Businessmen's Connection, and we talk
about growing three ways, growing withbusiness essentials, spiritual essentials, and relational
essentials. And so if I'm notgrowing, like, how can I coach
other people and me not get coachingand decide yes. And so that's something
(29:51):
that we talk about every month. And Jason, how are you growing relationally?
Number one with your relationship with God? Number two with your wife?
Because if you're rumbling there and stumblingat home, guess what you're gonna go
do? Jason when you try togo coach and disciple people, how like
what kind of spirit are you goingto be writing books and giving keynotes and
(30:12):
doing workshops. You're you're not bringingyour your best self, which is becoming
more like Jesus self to the table. So I so that's what I would
say, Revin. Then the secondthing, and we always hear this like,
oh man, if you had asmuch money as someone like Oprah,
you'd be able to fix all theworld's problems. That's another thing. What
(30:34):
breaks the power of material materialism andconsumerism is generosity. So if you're not
giving, again, just like whoyou are at five and if five and
six figures, probably be that atseven if you're if you're if you're whiny
at six, probably and nothing changesyou whiny at seven. If you're generous
(30:59):
and five, yeah, you'll begenerous at six, Be generous at seven,
and generosity keeps us from the downwardpool that money has because unchecked in
our flesh, unchecked money has adownward pool. M Okay, that's good
m saying. And I love theanswers that you have given us because it's
(31:23):
straight by your end wisdom. Yes, can you give us you said the
Bible, But can you give uslike three books that have really helped you
change your financial thinking? Oh?I love this question, lady kay,
because I'm I am always reading andI'm always out and I always have at
(31:48):
least one money book that I'm reading. But if I think about, like,
man, what really got me?One of them was The Millionaire next
Door by doctor Thomas J. Stanley. What I like about that book?
Doctor Stanley? Uh, he youknow he passed away. His daughter,
actually, doctor Sarah Stanley for Law, continued his research. So he did
(32:14):
a lot of heavy research in thenineties and he profiled real millionaires. And
this is no knock on people whoare on reality TV shows and all that,
but he's like real millionaires, notjust what you stay on TV.
Right like net By the way, this is a nugget to net worth millionaires,
not people that may if you makea million dollars, that's just your
(32:36):
income, that's not your assets.Because lady k if you make a million
dollars, but you spend nine hundredand ninety nine thousand, you got you
got a dollar left, right Soum, and most of people in their
lifetime make a million dollars, rightyou years, if you put all your
(33:00):
salaries together, you most likely havemade a million dollars. It's just that
you've spent it off exactly. Sothe millionaire next door was one. A
second one, I would have tosay, is the richest man in Babylon.
That's a kind of another. That'sit's like a fable written in a
(33:22):
fable form, and the character withthe mentor, there's these I think they're
called the ten Laws of Gold, and the character kind of progresses through the
story and he's getting these nuggets. He's like, well, I mean these
laws of gold. And there's apoint in the story where he tries to
do something, it doesn't work, and then he comes back and follows what
(33:43):
he says about the law of goldthat ends up working. He's like,
and the big thing about so youfind out what a real millionaires, million
millionaire next door, richest man inBabylon kind of teaches you ratios, Yes,
ratios. So for example, giving, uh, you know, I'll
say giving because some people get weirdedout by tithe and offering. So giving
(34:07):
that's a ratio how much I spendon um fun things. Travel ratio.
It's not that you don't travel orcan't travel, it's just travel, and
it's a ratio, right, youknow, like lady Kay as a woman,
and I and my wife in ourwithin our budget, and we you
(34:28):
know, some people don't like tobe words. I'll say spending plan.
We plan for everything else, butwe don't plan how we the thing that
funds everything we do, we don'tplan for that. That's a story for
another day. Right, But umhaving a spending plan, why we have
a line item for her beauty.Right, she's got to get the nails
done here too, but we butwe declare it in our spending plan.
(34:52):
Right. So it's just it's ratios. So richest man in Babylon was good
for that. And I would say, a m what's the third one?
Gosh, there's so many I'll gowith because I'm I'm reading this one now.
(35:12):
Gosh, there's a couple that I'mreading now, but I've really started
to dig into doctor Dennis Kembro andhe's got gosh, there's two of them,
but the Wealth Choice is the oneI'm reading now, The Wealth Choice
Secrets Success Secrets of Black Millionaires. So doctor kimbro just give you some background
(35:38):
on him. Do you remember thatbook Think and Grow Rich? Yes,
So the original author of that beforehe passed away, he had this idea
to have that concept for African Americansand doctor Dennis Kimbro h young he I
(35:58):
forget how he got into relationship andship with him, but he basically continued
the work of that author and thenbrought it forth. So Thank and Grow
Rich a Black choice. I believethose published in nineteen ninety one. He
continued the research of him and doctorKimbrough is going on to do great things
(36:19):
in the black community talking about wealthand building wealth within the African American community.
And so I'm reading through right nowthe Wealth Choice, and it's it's
really good because you know, wehear all the statistics and data around blacks,
but it's he has nine principles thathe walks you through. But it's
good because he chronicles so many storiesabout successful black people and some of the
(36:45):
people you've heard from, but someof the people were like, Wow,
I've never heard of that person before. And that's a good thing because that
means that there's more there's more successthan what the news or the media or
maybe even your own environment knows. So I would leave with those three the
millionaire next door, richest man inBabylon, and the wealth choice amen man.
(37:09):
But brother, brother Jason, letme share so much before you leave.
That's at the last time. We'regonna give an opportunity to share with
our listening audience all your information socialmedia, how to get your books,
how to sign up with you,how to get cut with y'all, to
follow you, to be prepared toshare that with our listening audience. Now,
let's get to the good stuff.Tell us about the TV show.
(37:30):
Oh you must you must have beentalking to Jerry Royce the Batman. Yes,
so we ain't gonna do TV show. What is the title in or
what is the premises? Up?It is the teaching show with detainment or
what is it? Tell us aboutit? Sure, it's gonna be a
teaching show and it's gonna be calledFortified and Wisdom and you know, I've
(37:50):
mentioned wisdom a few times, andthat's you know, if you had to
talk about brand and what God putson your heart. Wisdom is very near
and dear to me, and aworld full of confusion, we need wisdom.
And that's where we are today.Like common sense is kind of hard
to come by these days. Sofortified and wisdom will be how do we
(38:13):
walk in the wisdom of God daily? Like how do we do that?
And that's what the premise of theTV show will be. And so God,
he supernaturally gives me nuggets and principlesthat people can take away and apply.
And so we'll go through the scripture, but then we'll give nuggets for
(38:34):
the day that you can really walkby and apply and your life and your
business and your family and your marriage. And I have a special place in
my heart for believers in the marketplace, marketplace professionals, marketplace Christians, and
so that's that's who I minister to, that's who I do business with.
(38:54):
Of course I help everyone, butthat's my primary target. So you'll have
some of those some wisdom when itcomes to how do I kind of go
into into life and in the marketplacethis way whether I'm incorporate or an entrepreneur,
what can I do? And justlike with money, some of those
(39:15):
things we think are just oh it'sabout you know, it's the sales,
it's the marketing, it's the leadership. But it's going under the hood.
Honestly, it's those things of theheart that influence the type of business owner.
That's type of leader I am.How to make decisions under certain conditions,
and so that's what I'm excited about. Yeah, fortified in wisdom,
(39:38):
walking in the wisdom of God daily. Amen. So, um, your
guests would would your guests would bewhat people that are have our millionaires are
working towards it, are being successfulfinancially? What would your guests? M
let's be like so if when Ihave guessed, uh, definitely people that
(40:00):
walked and been successful. But I'mjust gonna kind of start out just teaching
myself. You know, on mypodcast on the Fortified Life, I kind
of already do that. I interviewa lot of successful business owners, CEOs,
influencers. So this one has kindof taken a step back and me
kind of teaching through the word ofGod on how we can walk in His
(40:23):
wisdom daily. I've actually gotten alot of feedback, Man Jason. We
love the guests, but sometimes whenI do an episode and I teach a
like, man Jason, why don'tyou do some more? So the TV
show actually will give me a chanceto do that because I've got I mean,
you can go back through the archives. I've got all kinds of guests
(40:44):
on there that are very successful businessowners and influencers. Have had millionaires on
there before, a lot of highearners, a lot of people with influence
for sure. But that's what theTV show will be. I'm just gonna
take the Word of God, breakit down, and what's a nugget?
What's something you can do today?Right to walk in wisdom? That's good,
(41:08):
that's excellent. You know when wewhen we break down the Word of
God, there's success stories all throughthe words. So I love that.
Now, what's the other thing thatyou have new? Do You have a
new book? So I am workingon a new book and it's of the
(41:28):
same title. So I'm going tobe it's going to be a thirty one
day devotional by the same name,Fortified in Wisdom. And you know,
it's one thing to hear a person, it's another to see them on TV.
But lady Kay, you know this, especially you all having written your
own publications. When you set itin stone, though, when you write
(41:50):
it down, it does something.Yeah, So I'm gonna have thirty one
devotionals again geared toward marketplace, believers, marketplace, and it's just, hey,
what is a nugget from the Wordof God that I can apply today
in my professional life that also haspersonal impacts? So I'm literally writing it
(42:12):
as we speak, so you aregetting the fresh inside information on that excellent.
That is great, yes, becausepeople need to know, you know,
just the nuggets that you have givenus, knowing that we can watch
your show to gain more wisdom, more knowledge, to get those strategies and
(42:32):
tips, to know that we canget the same thing in a devotional.
I have found that in the Christianworld a lot of times it is unheard
of or thought to be greedy ifyou want to be wealthy, But the
(42:57):
Word gives us some great direction andhow to get wealth. Like you know,
we have some great wealthy um peoplethat we can find, you know
in the Bible, Joseph Solomon.Um, there's you know, uh,
Queen of Sheba. You know, there's a lot of people that we can
glean from. So can you giveus um one of your wealth scriptures that
(43:24):
you have used in growing in theknowledge of wealth, Mum. So this
one's a little bit internal, butthis one helps keep the focus because what
ends up happening, Lady Kay,is if we're not right with our pursuits,
(43:47):
then we can get off tracks. So I like Colossians three twenty three
as a foundation whatever you do towork heartily as onto the Lord and not
unto men, for it is theLord Christ whom you serve. What I
like about that is that that tellsus not to compartmentalize, because whatever means
(44:09):
anything and everything, including our vocation, how we manage money. So whatever
we do, work heartily as untothe Lord. So it keeps us focus
because working heartily, that's being disciplineand consistent and so heartily and directionally.
(44:32):
Who are we working unto? We'renot working unto the Benjamin. We're working
unto the Lord. And because whenwe're led by the Holy Spirit, I
believe the Holy Spirit can supernaturally leadus or the opportunity. I don't have
to strive, I don't have toinject myself, and then we get ourselves
(44:54):
in trouble and then we repent later. And of course his love, grace
and mercy is there. But ifthe his spirit is leading me and I'm
allowing him, he'll guide me tothe flourishing land that he has for me.
And so that's different from chasing. Now, I'm just abiding in Christ.
(45:14):
I'm being led instead of chasing. That makes sense. Yes, that's
what I like about Colossians three twentythree is it keeps the it keeps the
focus in the foundation. Amen.Amen, absolutely awesome. Brother Jason,
Hey you already, um, wealready told you last time you was on
here that we are fans of yourthOkay, um you know that, um,
(45:36):
that crazy fan that be coming threefoils before the football game. And
because yeah, that's what we areabout you. I mean very well that
Jerry brought you back and you're stillgiving nuggets wisdom, you know, knowledge,
you know, and I just thankGod for you that you're the kind
of person that people, you know, you talk about relationship and right after
(46:00):
this, I'm going to have yougo right into sharing your website and they
think about you. Okay, sure, you said the thing is business relationship,
spiritual relationship, and what was are? Oh yeah yeah, business essential,
spiritual, essential, and relational. You know, and I think a
(46:20):
lot of people and you can correctthis and add to this. You know,
broke people hang around broke people.Yeah, okay, you know people
that are successful hang around successful people. Always tell my my UM players and
my UM the kids that our coach. You want to be successful, be
(46:42):
around someone that's a little bit betterthan you are doing better than you,
and learn from them, no endthem, learn from them, right you
know? So you're the kind ofguy say this to make this short,
as we get rid of the clothes, You're the kind of guy that,
no matter what the age difference isthat if I'm older from younger, whatever
it is, that I would justlike to hang around. And you don't
(47:04):
even teach me. Don't see theway you live, the way you make
decisions. That's the kind of relationshippeople. You know, drug dealers and
drug addict hang around drug addicts. You know, you gotta be something different,
You gotta hang around someone different toimprove your life, to reprove your
standards. So you're just that kindof guy that, um, I would
like to hang around. So Ijust want you to share right now,
(47:25):
with our listening audience, how theycan hang out with you. Yeah,
on your social media website, getyour books, the TV show, the
channel that comes on, and theshout out whether you want to shout out
to you have this time now toshare that, go ahead absolutely, And
I'm honored and humbled for you tosay that. Ravin Lady Case. I
