Focusing on Christian hip-hop, along with R&B and conscience music, Rap King J is famous for his rugged yet inspiring music. In fact, he has even won several awards for being the most inspirational artist. Rap King J's foray into music came with his own personal challenge of having a rough childhood. As a result, he found music as a way to express himself and to overcome strong feelings.
Today, Rap King J has performed in numerous shows, including the McDonalds Gospel Fest at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, where he performed live in front of almost 17,000 people. His shows radiate sappy and electrifying energy.
In the past, Rap King J has performed alongside or opened for artists such as Fantasia, Erica Cambell, Israel Houghton, and Donnie McClurkin. Many people have compared Rap King J’s sound to that of Mobb Deep or Nas. However, Rap King J doesn’t feel that he sounds like any artist to date.
Rap King J is also the founder of a charitable organization called Christhood Outreach. Nevertheless, he also donates money to various other ministries. In his free time, Rap King J feeds the homeless, conducts food drives, back-to-school drives, coat drives, and Christmas toy drives.
Originally from Southfield Village in Stamford, Connecticut, Rap King J currently resides in Bridgeport. He has three children, along with two stepchildren. Rap King J's recent release includes The Reason 11, and right now, he's focusing on making music that transforms people's lives while also
