(09:03):
About you? I was fine, how is how are you doing?
How are you both doing? Great? Great? You know, I just
gotta have a complaint, doctor hadNow what you already? Well? Um?
I was trying to start a business, but seemed like you do you
got more? None less? Ithought I was about to interview about eight
(09:31):
or nine different people on here, like why I want to ask this?
When do you sleep? A lot? Them? Very well? Okay,
okay, So I want to askyou, Um, you know, if
you look to my show always goesgo way back when you when you was
(09:54):
younger, what did you have adream of our mindset to do or be
wich say, middle school, highschool? What would your mindset at that
time? Were you thinking entrepreneur orwould you thinking a model. Are you
thinking of a supposed athlete or asinger? What was you? What were
you? What was your mindset atthat time? Honestly, my mindset was
(10:18):
being was getting as much trouble asI possibly could. But when I got
to high school, But like you, when I got to high school,
I wanted to be a beautician,but I couldn't because I couldn't I had
asthma. Then I wanted to bean accountant. So that's what I went
to college for. Okay, Okay, like my wife be an account Okay,
(10:41):
So what what college? Did yougo to? Park University here in
Kansas City, Missouri? Okay?Shout out, shout out to Park University?
Right, shout out to Park University. So with the accountant M degree
that you got, would you afteryou got it? Were you just now
intrested? Or God just lad youanother way? I showed you something else.
(11:07):
I spent twenty eight years in theaccounting field, in the in the
accounting industry, as well as aprofessor of accounting for a few years.
But in the interim I got Iwas diagnosed with tumors in my head,
and about twenty eight years it beganto weigh on me. So God told
(11:33):
me it was time to retire fromthat, and I did. I retired.
I was always I'm been in theministry, though I stayed in I've
always been in ministry for twenty someyears. But I just retired from the
accounting profession. Amen. Amen, you know. And I love that you
share that early because I will listento audience when they look at the success
(11:58):
of people and what people are doingthat they think that, well, they
haven't been through nothing. It's beeneasy, easy walk, they had everything
good. But when they hear, you know, stories like that, testimonies
like that, that's what power Leftis all about. You know. It's
not because we have the perfect gueston here is to say, Okay,
how did she get there? That'swhy I would like to go back.
(12:20):
You know, we're gonna talk aboutwhat you're doing now, but like to
go back to see the start becausepeople know that, Okay, yes,
I've been through this. I likeeven my wife been through cancer, been
through this. It's like you said, you've been through all that, and
look where God had you and lookwhat God is doing with you. So
as you let me share something withyou because a lot of you know,
young ladies young men to like yousaid, getting in trouble or looking for
(12:46):
trouble. What was your biggest challengeas a young lady coming up saying your
team sold your biggest challenge. Mybiggest challenge was being an orphan because both
my parents died. Dad died whenI was ten. My mother died when
I was fifteen. And my biggestchallenge trying to living, having a reason
(13:09):
to live. You know, whereyou don't have parents, you don't have
someone that's I had a wonderful grandfatherthat you know, he took care of
us. But when you don't havesomebody to push you, you have to
push yourself and you have to makesure that you keep yourself out of this.
As much trouble as I got in, you know, I never went
to jail into that stuff. Iwas just I was just out there searching
(13:33):
and I didn't have a long time. I didn't have purpose because my life
was just you know, thrown intochaos, especially after my mother died.
We were uprooted from Owly home.I knew and you know, my brothers
and I and what was more traumaticthan anything was that we found our mother
did so everything just went haywire inour lives and we had to really try
(13:58):
to navige just finding a reason tolive. If that makes any sense.
You gotta find, you gotta havewith with more hope. That makes a
lot of sense, doctor husband. And you don't know how much you're blessed.
You blessing me, So I knowyou're blessing own listening audience, you
know, and that is that isabsolutely awesome because you know that. Yeah,
(14:18):
you ever hear the saying you don'tlook like what you've been through,
you know, come on when whenpeople hear this story right now? And
I'm glad you're sharing it on PowerLift, I am. I am so
glad, and I have so muchthat's early in the show. I have
so much respect for you now thatI'm meeting I'm meeting you. My wife
already know you, but I'm meetingyou for the first time. And I
(14:39):
have so much respect to you nowto see you where you are, what
you're doing, and you didn't letyour pituation hold you down and hinder you.
And thank you so much. Okay, go ahead, lady kay excellent,
excellent. So doctor had not whenwhen um they found tumors in your
brain? Was it cancerous tumors ornope, that time it was. I've
(15:03):
had three surgeries and each time theywere benign. I had him at the
base of my brain and at thetop of my brain, and one was
on my right eye and they tookthe right eye out that it was non
cancerous. But they expected that Iwould lose my eyesight. But I didn't
know it was a chance because Ilost my memory. Now, come on,
(15:26):
wow, so how long did ittake for you to regain your memory?
Right? It's just a while. It's you know, bits and pieces
came back and at some point someof it never came back. I was
just but I would press to keepmy my mind going, keep my mind
straight, keep my mind moving, just how you know, to care myself.
(15:52):
Yes, yes, wow, youknow that is phenomenal because literally,
like my husband said, you don'tlook like what you have been through when
you don't found like what you havebeen and that is phenomenon. My question
to you is going through all ofthat, when did your ministry begin?
(16:22):
The ministry really began between my fifth, fifth and sixth surgeries after they took
after they took one tumor out ofmy breast and two out of my head.
God ask you, what do youwant to do with your life?
And I said, I wanted thiswas nineteen ninety nine. I want to
(16:45):
teach your word. And he openedup my mind to the possibilities of teaching
his words. So I went tocollege and I became like this sponge for
the word of God. I mean, just sponging and sponging and sponge.
And that's when I learned the intimacyof God. I learned worship, I
learned prayer. I learned I meanI had always been in church, but
(17:07):
I learned, I learned who heis. M that's for me. He
said, what do you want todo with your life? Because I was
in the middle of twisted between twosurgeries, and like the doctor said,
when he got ready to operate onmy head, he said, if I
go to the left, you'll bea vegetable sa if I go to the
right, too far to the right, you'll die. Because they were literally
(17:29):
that close to my brain trying toget these things out. And I said,
don't worry about God's got it,and literally he did, M Wow,
my God, you know that iswhat I call sharing, sharing in
the suffering with Christ Jesus. Hehas that resurrection power, and he allowed
(17:51):
you to get up and get upand keep getting up. So I thank
God that Jesus has preserved you forus, for us because many people need
to hear your testimony. Many peopleneed to hear about getting up and getting
(18:11):
over and getting through. So thankyou so much for just being so candid
and sharing your story, um,your life with us and with our listeners.
M One more question before I passit back to Rev and red Um.
You're also a breast cancer survivor umand I know that's recent. Um,
(18:32):
How after having multiple brain surgeries andyou had already had a breast surgery?
Now, how how did you handlethis the diagnosis of Breastkington all right,
throw out on the floor and hada potential Yes, I know you
(18:55):
didn't well I want I screamed andbeat the bed and beat the floor and
said, Noah, don't you knowI've been through all these surgeries already.
What why the book tim? Itwas after all those other surgeries, this
one was the one that had cancerand this changed everything. And I had
(19:21):
a very aggressive form of breast cancer. And they just said that they did
all the tests that they said thatwe believe it's spread throughout your body already
show them what we do. AndI said, really, he said,
we think it's already spread. Whatkind did you have? I had breast
(19:41):
cancer, left node cancer. Alsohad her too positive cancer and there was
something else in there. Wow,And but it was it spread to the
lymph node and didn't spread any otherplace where they thought it had spread to,
like delivers and kidneys. It wasn'tin any places. It was only
(20:02):
in the mind. Praise God God. And they even said that it was
the cancer was so severe that theydidn't know how to treat it MT when
they did a case study on mybreast cancer because I at in December,
(20:22):
UM I had nothing, There wasno visible sign of cancer. UM.
I had just had my mammogram andon Valentine's I found the lump and by
the time I was able to getinto the doctor, it had grown to
the size of a marble. Sothey it was growing at eighty three percent,
(20:44):
and so they could they they wentback and looked at the mammogram again
and again they came back. Theykept going back. The doctor came out
and apologized to me that the umradiologists came out and apologized to me because
they didn't see it, you know, and it wasn't there. So I
understand when they're seeing something and they'resaying this is huge, or we don't
(21:10):
know how to treat it, wedon't know which way to go. That
meant it that it had to beGod to save you. Yes, m
absolutely, wow, I'm glad.Look, I'm glad you were here.
And how long have you been cancerfree? Three years? April the seventh?
(21:37):
Three years? Congratulations, congratulations,I'm at thirteen years, and I'm
excited too. Reverend Red, tellus how many years you are cancer free?
Three years? Three years? PraiseGod early before April. No,
(22:00):
no, it's four years, fouryears. So prais the Lord. Praise
the Lord. Lord. Even wewant to get to what you're doing right
now, all the stuff that you'redoing, and it's so hard to get
that because you're a testimony of yourYou need we need a Netflix episode that
you like, eight episodes. There'sso much you need to do, a
(22:26):
movie movie, please, right,we need to say. I'm just mind
boggling, you know, and Ijust I just thank God for you,
and I thank God that you're willingto share those testimonies and listen proof that
you don't. You can't let thingslike that stop you. You still have
(22:48):
to have that mindset. Now,the other mindset I want to ask you
about it, the mindset of entrepreneurur. You know, because I talked to
people because I said it mindself.Well, you know, starting a business,
it's social, it's too much trouble. You have to get dads,
you have to get this. Idon't really want to stress of starting a
business because when you really all thebusiness, you lose money the first year
(23:14):
or two years or three years, and there's a battle. What would you
share with someone that has that mindset? Are thinking like that, they want
to start a business, but theydon't want to go to the battle and
the stress of dealing with the problemwhen it's aging. The battle of starting
the business. You know, beingan entrepreneur is one of the most exciting
(23:37):
times in a person's life. Yes, it's gonna be a struggle, but
hey, you got a struggle onthe job. Yes it's gonna be challenging,
but you got challenges on the job. Yes it's gonna be sleepless nights,
but you got sleepless nights on thejob. So what's the difference.
Would you rather work for somebody makingeighteen dollars an hour or would you rather
(24:00):
work for yourself and make a hundredand eighty dollars an hour? It's a
meal. You may not get thathundred and eighty overnight, but you can
if you do it right. Youcan grow your business in leaps and down
and never miss a beat. BecauseI would much rather wait and get thee
hundred and eighty dollars an hour. Then it takes somebody's crap and only be
(24:23):
making eighteen dollars an hour when Iknow my full potential. So if you
believe in yourself, and you believein the potential that you have within you,
hey take the risk and do theeighteen or take one hundred and eighty
dollars an hour. Okay, thatmake sense A lot of tens now letting
(24:45):
the mank you this now on likewhen starting a business, you know you
need money right to start a business? Now, do you would you suggest
a loan, a business loan,a government loan or what would you say?
I want to say. I wouldsuggest two things. First of all,
(25:07):
I would tell a person that hasno money to get the skin in
the game by looking around your houseat seeing what you have in your house
that you can utilize. You canhave a garage sale, you can go
on what's that other thing marketplace?Tell us the stuff that your house should
not use me. Put that moneyin an interest bearing account and let that
(25:30):
money start growing for you. ThenI would say, take that money going
to get someone to help you writea grant, get a grant for your
business. And then if you reallywant to navigate it and you need a
loan, build up as much capitalas you can. Go to your bank,
put that money in the CD statificatea deposit, and then borrow against
(25:52):
it so that your money is inthe bank earning interests while you're borrowing the
money to the banks money and buildingcredibility with your bank. Okay, okay,
okay. I was listening to allthis and hook, y'all are hearing
this because y'alla getting this for free, absolutely free. Man. That is
(26:18):
that is good because a lot ofpeople, I guarantee you, like even't
didn't know that. And that nowthat I'm hearing that, that makes so
much sense. That that makes somuch sense. So the fad of the
first part of your entrepreneursy, yourbusiness, the loves that you business.
That's hold on from it. Letme get away from this microwave so that
(26:44):
when we're time for me too.Yeah, you're going in and out.
I'm okay. Like I said, the first year or two years of your
business, Um, when you losemoney, that's a tax write off,
correct, absolutely, Okay, solet's have the knower fin our tax.
You know that an attacks right off? Okay, all right, that's that's
(27:10):
that man, that's I learned.I learned someone. We learned something right
there on that segment. Absolutely, that's beautiful. Not now later. Had
Not just want to make sure beforeyou leave tonight, you want to give
um. We're gonna give you anopportunity to share your website, your social
media how someone can get to yourcoaching that you have. We're gonna give
it that time, so be preparedfor that to share that with our listening
(27:33):
audience. Okay, okay, yes, sir, thank you, Okay,
okay, I can ask my question, thank you, Um, doctor had
Not. You have written many books, so can you give us um some
of the books that you have writtenand how that is coming into play right
(27:57):
now with what is about to starthappening tomorrow oh yes, Sir Coach Pistol
absolutely well. From November fifth toFebruary fifth, February fifth to February fifth,
March fifth, I went through theflu, the bronkiters, and then
I end up with COVID. Sofor that one hundred and twenty days,
(28:21):
I stayed in the house and Iwrote. I literally wrote sixteen I revised
four books and wrote another ten books, eleven books on the art of spiritual
warfare, different variations of the subjectof spiritual warfare. So I wrote those
books so that I could cover everyaspect of spiritual warfare, like taking authority
(28:45):
over your spiritual house to warfare andexposing witchcraft in the church during spiritual breaches,
demolishing the poverty spirit there's raging againstGod's people, the warfare for your
prayer life. I wrote Prayers forexpect factive spiritual warfare, and then I
(29:07):
wrote spiritual Warfare in the Marketplace,so tied that buying strategies for expectactive warfare
and several others. But I wrotethem all in the matter of about one
hundred and twenty days because I'll stetin the house and I needed something to
do more. A man that isamazing. That's phenomenal how God used you
(29:29):
in that amount of time, evenin the midst of being sick. So
praise God for that. And soafter you finished writing, then what did
God do and say? He said, I want you to bust for Spiritual
Warfare accomplished. He said, Iwant you to teach my people how to
wage war because my people don't knowhow to fight. WHOA, that's good.
(29:53):
That is good. So in thenext three days you are going going
to be teaching. You've gathered upa group of amazing warrior strategists that will
help you in reaching the body ofpeople that will be at this boot camp.
(30:15):
So tell us can if somebody hearsabout it and they say, I
can make it to Kansas, canthey get a ticket tonight? Absolutely?
They can go to eight dot comand look up part of Spiritual Warfare boot
Camp. Or they can just cometo the door and registrate at the door.
(30:36):
Oh, that's awesome. So we'regonna be at four Points Shertan right
in Kansas City, Missouri, theairport by the airport, so they can
meet us right there. I cannotwait to get there tomorrow. And so
tell us you know some of theI know I'm teaching warfare in the mandate.
(31:00):
Give me a couple of things thatI know you're teaching several times,
So give me a couple of yourteachings. I'm gonna be teaching on sexual
soul ties and how to break them. Gonna be yeah, sexually yeah,
I know, yeah, sexual soulpassing, how to break them, destroying
(31:26):
spiritual breaches, and prophetic witchcraft inthe church. Doctor Creator Brown is going
to be teaching on destroying the poverty, spirit and spiritual warfare in the market
place. M Wow. We aregoing to have a phenomenal time in Kansas
City Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday. So if you can make it out,
(31:48):
y'all come to Kansas City. Itis going to be worth your while.
It's gonna be an amazing, amazingboot camp and just a place to really
learn. So can I touch onI want to touch on some of the
other things that you are doing,Like how did you get into the body
(32:12):
care, the cologns and the perfume. I got into it by by having
excel m. I had a skin, a skin problem that needed a solution,
and so I made the decision tolearn how to make soap. And
(32:34):
so I started off making soap andthen God's one day, I was holding
the bar soap and God said,I'm gonna bless us in your hands.
And I looked at the bar ofsoap and I said, you're gonna do
what he said. I'm gonna blessus in your hand. I said,
God, this is a bar ofsoap. And I looked up at the
sky. I had said, You'regonna bless a bar of soap. And
sure enough, within ninety days ofthat, I had my first commercial cases.
(33:00):
Within ninety days of moving into thatcommercial location, I had five Hie
grocery stores here in the Midwest, which is the ninth largest grocery chain in
the Midwest. And from there justkept growing and it kept growing, and
then I ended up with products onAmazon, and it just kept moving and
God kept blessing. And now Imean I've navigated after the business thrived and
(33:27):
thrived and through cancer, thrived throughCOVID because when COVID hit and nobody had
hand sanitizers, my company was makinghand sanertizers for all these places in Kansas
City. Wow. So God,God kept navigating, and then when I
came out of cancer, he putme I took the perfumery side of the
business because I make perfume and cologns. And he took me to the Hampton's
(33:51):
where I met you coach Crystal.Yeah, and perfume business just took off
from there. So I've been doingperfumes for or women that want to launch
into the a thirty billion dollar industry. I've been doing perfumes for celebrities,
reality star people. You'd be surprisedand the people I've been making perfumes for,
(34:15):
and it's just been amazing. Wow, that is incredible. That's incredible.
And don't you have a TV showor station or something. He has
a whole and because I was toldby this guy at a shopping networks that
they didn't like to they didn't liketo feature black businesses with their products because
(34:38):
he said, black businesses brought manningmadeproducts and I didn't take a fense to
it and I couldn't swim. Thushe is black, but he said that's
why their networks didn't have black products, because black folks brought mandingmade products.
So I didn't take a fense.I took authority and I took the body.
My husband said. He said we'lljust start our own networks. So
(35:00):
