We've got Rebecca and they're already utah Mic and I
(01:15):
think I saw prepared guy and a couple other people. Anyways,

is the time to get prepared because we are running
out of it. With that being said, Shane, are you
ready to kick us off? To start us off? Do
you have you have resistance to drop or you want
to wait till the very end? Is like start a
(02:23):
new conversation.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
There's so many there's so many that the PSD resistance
could be all the way through.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Right, He's gonna do both.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
He's gonna give us a pop right now, and then
five minutes before we end he's gonna like blow us
up with some.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
No pressure, no pressure, right, Yeah, well I'll start off this.
Did you hear about the the California band Glocks.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yeah, Jennifer was gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
It happened.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Huh, yeah I did. And Glock discontinued all of their
models except for the compact ones like the forty three,
forty three x forty eight something like that, and so
they're redesigning them. There's stupid, stupid California.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
It's a bunch of differ lawsuit. It's a bunch of
different states that have been on Glock's case to make
their handguns more difficult to modify something like that. There's
something called the glocks, which which can make.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
They're fighting it though, I know though I got an
email something about, hey, we're fighting this, appealing it blah
blah blah something or other.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
So yeah, it's there's not a whole lot of information
out there as to what Glock is actually doing, so
it's kind of unknown at the moment. They obviously have
been fighting those for quite a while, but I don't
know if they're just giving in or what. But you
go to the local gun shops, no glocks to be found.
They've all been bought out, all the ones that are discontinued.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
So it's just a certain group of glocks that have
been discontinued, pretty.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Much all of them except for their compact models there
they're micro like like you said, like the forty three
forty three.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
X, I need that particular platform.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
So apparently those are already good. Well they are smaller,
So I don't know anything about glocks switches themselves, but
they are illegal, right, So why make the glock illegal
in the glocks which is already illegal? So long conversation.
You know there's people who love glocks, people who do
eight glocks, and I wouldn't say I'm either, but I
(04:29):
carry one every day. So interesting.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Well, if you guys live in California and you're wanting
to get armed, you can actually check out one of
my my in laws, my brother in law Ben, go
to California Gunpermit dot Com and he can get your
squared away. That guy is a former FBI, tons of
experience shooting, does lots of CCW in California. But we
need to get those things taken care of in every state,
(04:54):
like wherever you live. Get strapped like please get strapped.
It's it's that time where we need to be vigilant
and better prepared all the time.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah, absolutely, completely agree, hundred percent. You know a lot
of things we'll talk about today should inspire you to
be alert, you know, like I say, have your head
on the swovellone and uh be prepared to you know,
defend yourself.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
I mean and everywhere you are, Like you can't even
be safe at a church anymore.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
For goodness. Well, did you guys hear about what's going
on in Rio Degennaro? Oh?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
Yeah, oh in Rio? No, I didn't hear something?
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Yes, So this is interesting. Twenty five hundred armed officers
raided the poor communities to try to root out what's
called the Red Command h read the Rio. It was
slaughtered like one hundred and thirty two killed. Twenty five
(06:05):
armed officers raiding the neighborhoods of the Red Command with
the attempts to get all the generals, all all the
upper officials in that gang. And they failed, like horrifically really,
And what caught my attention in this was the fact
that the the Red Command hijacked fifty buses to barricade
(06:30):
the officers out of the areas, lit them on, many
of them on fire, destroyed most of them, and then
they started using drones to drop grenades. The gangs did,
the gangs did.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
So fifteen officers were killed, one hundred and thirty two
civilian slash We don't know yet at least one hundred
and thirty two other deaths. It's crazy, It is crazy,
but it is they're trying to deal with gang violence.
The other thing is is like this is we're gonna
see more and more this worldwide, right, Like we've we're
(07:09):
seeing it there, We've we're seeing issues here with the
ICE detention centers and the peaceful protest. We're gonna throw
air quotes on that one. Not so peaceful, right. There's
a lot of issues with ICE we can talk about too,
But like it's it's getting hotter everywhere in the world.
(07:30):
In fact, there's also I don't know if you guys
been paying attention to ICE, but they're trying to recruit
ten thousand more officers for ICE, and I don't know
if you've seen the news, but they're having a major
major issue. Majority of applicants cannot pass the physical. What
(07:51):
they cannot pass the physical meaning they cannot complete a
one point five mile run in fourteen minutes do thirty
two sit ups or and fifteen push ups. Many of
them are failing at the sit ups. Most are failing
(08:13):
on the run.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Guard you.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, I don't know if I do very well on
the run, but I could do the push ups and
the sit ups for sure.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Right. The fact that there are some failing on the
thirty two sit ups is beyond me. I'm like, what,
you're going to be a law enforcement officer a physical
position and you can't do the basic here? Like what
that's baffling to me? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
And one thing I've I've said often. I think it's
been a while since I've actually said anything, but one
of my biggest concerns is as things go south, as
the economy worsens, as we get closer to the end,
is they use air quotes that gangs are going to
be probably our biggest concern locally, you know, individually, because
(09:01):
of I mean, what we're going to see potentially this weekend,
we'll get into that, just shortages, and then people will
band together in tribes, in groups in gangs. Gangs will
get more powerful and take over more territory and be
much bigger problem. I mean, this your your story there,
Scott basically exemplifies that perfectly. I think is the cops
(09:26):
can't even hundred cops can't even take control.
Speaker 1 (09:30):
And they're also having problems right now many of the
existing agents, I can't say many. There's there's a large
number of news reports coming out where they're getting injured
in pursuits, rolling, rolling ankles because in propertized shoes, like
basic things that you're like, you didn't have your shoes tied,
(09:51):
You're wearing loose sneakers like you're not like, which then
makes me think, Okay, as a prepper, what do I
need to do better? Lace up my boots tied, make
sure everything's snug, make sure everything's ready right, stop, for
lack of a better term, half ass some things and
get a lot more consistent so that I'm okay and
(10:13):
I'm ready at a moment's notice, because you never know
when things are going to go sideways.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Well, you got to have I know, we've done a
couple of episodes over the years with about fitness and
being fit, and a lot.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Of people are what does fitness have to do with preparedness?
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Like hello, Like if you can't carry it, you know,
I know that a proper bug out bag is not
going to be you know, sixty or seventy pounds or
maybe even more. But you've got to be able to
carry some weight and hike. For if you get even
walk a mile, You're not gonna be able to carry
a daga bag a mile.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
Because if you can't even walk without.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Anything else on you, if you can't run for a
little while to get out of places or get away
from a threat, I mean you you know, of course
it's important to you know, you don't need to be
a marathon or but for goodness sakes, have some at
least have one hundred yard dash under your belt, what.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
I mean, Yeah, sprinting is important and not hurting yourself
when sprinting, like you said there, Scott rolling an ankle
or pulling something to where you can't escape. So you know,
one of the standards I've kind of always held myself too, is,
you know, looking back to nine to eleven, do I
have the tools on me that I can escape a
(11:23):
building right, cut through drywall, get through a wall, you know,
and then sprinting away from danger like that, and again,
you know, having the cardio to do it and also
not hurting yourself when you weren't doing that as well.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
Well.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Speaking of ICE and on more of a political side
of things, It's interesting because I saw this and I
haven't verified it, but there was a breakdown of from
two thousand and three until twenty sixteen, the Democrats were
the ones who are the major funders of the ICE program.
Then in twenty seventeen, when Trump took office and started
using the ICE then all of a sudd the Democrats
(12:00):
were denouncing it, and in twenty twenty one they funded
it again. But now in twenty now they're breaking the
funding and they denounce it. So it's like they were
all for ICE when it was back when they were
running the show, but now that we're running, the Republicans
or the Conservatives.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Are trump Ish Trump, the Trump the.
Speaker 4 (12:19):
There's like the what's it called the Trump derangement syndrome
or something like that TV that's not real thing. Oh yeah,
I'm just I've seen clips of Obama talking about how
we shouldn't be we need to close our border because
we're scared of these people coming across the border taking
our jobs, and like that was what he ran on
one of that was one of his platforms, was saying
(12:40):
how he was going to close the border and be
more strict on the border. And then all of a sudden,
you know what I mean, it's like, what's the hypocrisy
is real, the gas lighting is real with that with
that group.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
I'm just saying, that's just crazy. Yeah, So that.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Both groups, that's the problem. It's it's two different wings
of the same bird. That's don't crap it on a point,
very good point, right, It's two different wings to the
same bird, and it's crapping on all of us. They
get they're going to use the same rhetoric every election
cycle to get what they want and then never deliver
on the promises.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Well, supposedly ICE has deported five and twenty seven thousand
illegals so far, which is obviously more than the previous administration.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
But uh, that's not hear nor there. But that's another
thing causing a lot of chaos. You know, we hear
about Ice, we hear about National Guard or military going
into our cities. That's another big topic that I wanted
to bring up as well, is that you know, Trump
has sent troops into La Memphis and DC. He wants
(13:50):
to send them into Portland and Chicago, and I guess
having the legal problems with, you know, getting that to happen.
But you know you, if you ask me, that's what's
called martial law, right having. And of course this can
be argued you are good things happening, yes, probably, so
(14:11):
are bad things happening, yes they are as well. I
understand US citizens are also being accused and hauled away
along with the with the illegals. So you know, where's
the line.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
It's fantastic. Actually, listen to a personal story. A guy
was talking about his situation. He was deported with ice
in the last three months. He was deported back to
Germany where his parents, where he was born. He's been
in America, he's I think he's in his late twenties.
He's been in America for over twenty years. And his
(14:43):
parents never filed the paperwork correctly. So it was one
hundred percent his dad's fault, all right. So he's like,
I'm not mad at America. I'm mad at my parents.
If they'd have at least told me about this issue,
I could have resolved it, and I would have resolved it.
He's like, but it's it's neither here nor there. He's like,
America is the greatest country in the world. He's like,
I'm in Germany. It sucks. It is the worst place
(15:06):
I've ever lived. He's like, and he just goes through
all the different reasons why he one hundred percent supports
what Ice is doing. He's like, because we can't keep
giving people free rides that don't deserve him. He's like,
I got benefits and I didn't know about until I
was eighteen that my parents just used and abused without
my knowledge. And it's like, yeah, that that's another We're
(15:27):
going to talk more about those benefits and those use
and abuse as we get closer to the end of
the show. But like, that was another one of those cases.
He's like, we need to fix the system. The system's broke,
and the way to fix it first get all the
bad stuff out so we can focus on what is
really the problem. Right, And he's like, all for the deportation.
He's he got deported, but he's been living here for
(15:50):
most of his life.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Wow, what a good guy. And that's you know, that's legit.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
There's so many there's so many reasons is why we
need to have good people coming here, and we just
need to do it the right way, and we need
to make it easier or at least more obvious or
more I don't know that it just it does. We
do need to streamline it, make it a little more effective.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Simplify the process. Yeah, simplify the process for legal immigration.
I'm simplify the process. If somebody wants to come here
and do good and they are good, bring them in.
If they're a felon and they're committing crimes where they're
coming from. No, do you know how many countries besides
(16:33):
ours let people in their felons.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
None?
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Zero, And.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
I thought I thought England was letting people into that
we're at.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Well, there's a lot of Europe. Yeah, Europe has been
letting in immigrants as well, and that.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
But not legally.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Right, the laws are such that it's zero. Yet this
whole I don't even I mean, debacle has just been
opening the borders and letting people filter through however they
want to because it fits the left and ambition. It
fits that group's ambition to destabilize these countries that support
(17:14):
the world.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
The part of the reason why they want to have
people come is because if they give them all these benefits,
they're going to be beholden to them, and they're gonna say, look,
we'll give you all this stuff, but you've got to
vote for us. And so when they see all these
voters in these districts, in these areas and they're trying
to redistrict a lot of these states are redistricting right now,
they're saying, well, look at how many Democrats we have,
Look how many registered Democrats we have. We got a
(17:37):
redistrict for this and put more representatives and all this
other stuff. And so it's a lot of it is
really a lot of it's really they're kind of under
It is their way of stacking the system in their favor.
So that's another reason why it's important to get out
of there, get these people out, or at least kind
of identify so that we can actually have a legitimate
(18:00):
election or have a have a better opportunity for a
legitimate election process. I probably we're on YouTube. Shoot, I
shouldn't have said election.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Well, if you still believe in that, yes.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
That's probably worse than showing my gun saying what I
just said.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
You mean selection process, Yeah, exactly. What's interesting is is
the primary schools and summer camps that Barack Obama went to.
He's many many photos with his his buddy. Do you
know who his buddy was, Mike Simbody another Uh he
(18:38):
unlived himself in prison. Oh that dude, he has his
own he had his own island. Elaine Maxwell's boyfriend. Hmmm,
they went to the same same pre pre college schools.
Interesting summer camps, I mean, yeah, very very interesting. All right,
(19:02):
next next topic. All right, I got a lot of them,
so I think ahead. Okay, all right, so one of
my favorite topics. Of course, we'll try not to run this,
you know, hammer it too hard. But obviously, what gold
and silver did in the last couple of weeks, the
last month, right, gold went to over forty three hundred,
(19:22):
silver to just under fifty four dollars fifty three and
so forth, and then you know, big call it a correction.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
You know, air quotes. There's a lot of excuses you
could use for that. But you know, goldways had broken
back up to over four thousand again today. Uh so, yeah,
we'll call it a correction. You know, there's a lot
of reasons we could get into it, but again I
don't want to for you guys at it too much,
but it's very significant what it's been doing lately. And uh,
(19:50):
the it's true shortages in silver in in Europe, in London,
and the US has had to you know, the COMEX
has had to send over silver bars on planes and
uh and it's and and uh, India and China are
taking all kinds of silver and it's it's a big
(20:11):
mess out there, and uh, these are signs, these are warnings, right,
And that's kind of what we're getting to know. This is,
you know, a threat assessment. It's it is it might
be a threat if you don't have real assets. And
so that's kind of the just my purpose for today
is let's let's point out these threats, these issues and
(20:34):
trying to inspire you guys, which I'm sure all of
you are also already if you're you've been listening to
your regular listeners, you've already been doing these things. So
just preaching to the choir, right.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Well, I just I just pulled this up right here.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
I don't know if you've ever seen this, but the
top ten countries that have silver the silver reserves, so
what are the time the number one country with the
largest silver reserves you probably never guess.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
What it is is.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
I would probably say India.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Nope, oh okay, just goott you want to throw out?
I guess no, it's Peru.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
Oh really Peru, Peru, Australia, Russia, China, Poland, Mexico, Chile, Argentina,
and United States. And Argentina were tied. We're tied with Argentina.
Guys in terms of silver reserves. I don't gold reserves
were probably on the closer to the top, if if
what they say is actually true about what we actually
(21:31):
have because the audit never went through. But it's kind
of crazy to think about a country like Peru with
silver reserves, although they probably have great silver mines down there.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
And this data looks like it's from twenty twenty two,
so yeah, who knows where it's at now.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
Yeah, apparently by gold reserves, America is the number one,
according to this particular one I'm looking at. Not not true,
probably not in the real world.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Ye, I wouldn't.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
I wouldn't doubt if the Federal Reserve had gold. But
they're separate, they're not actually the government.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
That's correct. Yeah, Federal Reserve is not is not the government,
but the Federal Reserve does hold US gold in at
least two of their banks, and then Fort Knox as well,
So that's all counted toward the eighty one and thirty
three tons that the US supposedly has.
Speaker 3 (22:28):
Just to close. Just to close, I don't know if
we want to close out this topic. Final thought.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Final thought for me on that topic is in in
Ray Dalio's book Changing World Orders.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
He talks about how the cycles of how world.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Orders rise and fall over over the centuries, and when
when you get to the point where you have a
fiat currency that's failing and you have other countries that
are buying up gold and silver to be able to
kind of bolster their economies, the failing, the failing world
currency is overcome by the new world currency, which eventually
is founded on gold and silver. And so every world
(23:05):
currency when they begin that cycle anew it's founded on gold,
it's backed by gold, backed by precious metals. And so
when you see the bricks nations and other nations really
hoarding almost if you can use that word hoarding gold
and silver, there's a reason, I think is because they're
planning to.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Do that now.
Speaker 4 (23:26):
Is it going to come anytime soon? Based on you
know the numbers and based on what's going on around
the world. I don't know, but could it happen in
an instant with a war of some kind or World
War three of some kind, Yeah, they could. It's just
just stay aware, keep your head on the swivel, so
to speak, when you're looking at what's going on with
gold and silver, because when a world currency falters, it's
because they left that and we've left it for you know,
(23:48):
we're past the life cycle for when a fiat currency
should be around, by the way, and then as a
new world currency emerges, it's almost always it's always.
Speaker 3 (23:56):
Backed by gold.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Every world currency in the last five hundred six hundred
has been backed by gold, and gold and silver go
back to Shoot, they go back to Samaria and all
the other ancient civilizations so.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Well, and they're just going to wrap this up, is uh.
The China has has opened and is opening opening warehouses
in all the bricks nations to hold gold. So they
are they have the the Shanghai Metals Exchange where they
(24:28):
have already backed to an extent the Chinese currency with
gold in that I think oil is convertible into gold,
so some of their guarantees are convertible into gold, and
you know, correct me if I'm wrong here, but that
is a way. That is what's happening in many, many
different countries. They're buying gold, they're stacking gold to maybe
(24:52):
not to directly back their currencies with gold, but as
a way to build confidence in their currency, in their
in their system. So kind of the recent talk is, oh,
there's you know, there're the the China, the yu on
their currency is not going to be the new world
reserve currency. It's going to be every individual country who
(25:15):
has gold is going to have confidence in their currency,
and it's going to be local currencies more than just
one particular currency like the US dollars the world reserve currency.
So that's I hear a lot of that talk lately
that countries. That's one of the reasons why we're seeing
gold and stubber go up so quickly right now, is
is because of countries and banks buying, not because of individuals.
(25:39):
But like we talked in one of our last episodes
that you know, major corporations, investment companies are saying, yeah,
you need to hold twenty five percent part of your portfolio.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
It's interesting because the cost of everything's going up. Uh.
And one of our one of the things we promote
is survival Frog is one of our affiliates. You can
get tasty meats. We had the batter growing across and
the comment came up, it's like, oh, you better hope
gold's going up so you can cover the cost of
buying meat. Well it's and they're saying it's because of
(26:16):
the prices. And you tell Mike, think think you pointing
that out. But it's like, the most expensive meats are
freeze dried, right. The next most expensive meat is the
meat you didn't eat right because you let it expire.
Most meat in America expires, it goes unfinished, doesn't get
eaten all the way. We spoil more food in America
(26:38):
than anywhere else in the world. It doesn't make it
all the way to market, or we let it spoil
in our in our homes. Because I don't know why
I don't. I don't have meat expire very often in
my house. It doesn't last that long. But it's crazy
how much it expires. Better to have something than nothing.
I just looked at some pricing Mountain house, which is
usually a little more expensive than others for a number
(26:58):
ten can guess how much it is right now, seventy
eighty bucks ninety four dollars shipping for number ten can now, Yeah,
it's just going to get more and more expensive, which
leads me this is the reason I'm talking about this.
I'm glad Mike brought it up. The reason I'm talking
about this is meat prices are about to go nuts
(27:21):
because what just happened with Venezuela. They got a forty
billion dollar bump in free funds basically from the United States,
and their soybean entire industry was sold off to the
high bidder while ours was completely shut out. Like our
(27:43):
ranchers and farmers just got completely hijacked and screwed over
by our government in the international space as well. Like
it is, it's crazy what just happened. Forty billion dollars,
and you know what's happening for our ranchers. They're going
to get funded a twelve billion dollar aid package that
(28:03):
if they use they have to cut back other things,
so they're getting forced out of the industry there. And
I don't know if Jered Hendry's in here, but he
and I have talked a few times. There's about to
be like a massive, massive, like massive failure of the
American meat market, is what he's telling me.
Speaker 4 (28:24):
How they recommend getting together with your local farmers, then
local meat market. I found a place that's local to
where I live, and they sell I mean, I'm pretty
sure they butcher the cow in the backyard and then
they sell it in the print yard, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
So it's pretty that's where I go.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Now, Yeah, it's funny, Mike. Meat does not spoil in
your house either, right, But here's another thing, Like cattle
prices are going through the roof right now, Like if
you try to buy half a cow, it's as much
as buying a full cow two years ago. Right, it's
the pricing has just gone through the roof Saturday. His
cows are worth more now if you can get a
(28:58):
couple of cows, do it. Right, Not a better time
than now, well, not a better time than twenty years
ago to start doing all this stuff, but get everything now.
And Chaney just pointing out calves of doubled and priced
in our neck of the woods. Two mm hmm. Right,
it's it's crazy. Yeah, if you can buy stuff from
from local warehouse stores and local restaurant supply companies, you're
(29:21):
gonna do a lot better because you're gonna be buying
in bulk. But then you got to man figure out
for yourself how are you gonna store all that food
so that it doesn't spoil? Yeah, right, and that you
don't need power because we're going to see more and
more grid stability issues going forward, and that that's not
in tonight's news, but that's something I'm watching more and
(29:43):
more problems. With more and more data centers going up
around the world, we're gonna have more and more brownouts
consistently throughout America.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Well you're part of that is you know the a
AWS outage. Yeah, last week or this week?
Speaker 1 (30:01):
When was that? That was it?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
Maybe it was over a week ago, but it was close.
Speaker 2 (30:05):
And there's another small outage yesterday as well, and that
was quite significant and it really showed.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
That was a different group.
Speaker 4 (30:13):
That was a different outage, though it wasn't as.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
It was from what I understand. But but but a
WS they they run a lot of people's.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Data infrastructure data. Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
The companies use the a w S services.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Yeah, they're like Cisco a little bit so real.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Quick back to the beef comments in the chat, I
love this. A lot of people are switching over.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Like I.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
My goal is is rabbits. We've got rabbits and we've
got chickens. Right, my goal is more rabbits. They're tasty,
they produce fast, they're very affordable, and and pound for pound,
they cannot produce a cow every year. Right, all you
need are two does and a buck. Just start doing it.
Because and right now, like, if you don't need a
(31:02):
lot of them, don't don't put them together in the
same pen. Don't don't let them procreate, right, keep them separating.
But yeah, we've we've got to we've got to take
control of our local food supply, all right, sorry, continue,
Oh no, I just.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
See our timing. We're at thirty two minutes and really
touched my list here. You know, there's the government shut down.
Obviously that's pretty should be apparent as of October first,
we're in twenty ninth't going on thirtieth day, which will
be I think that thirty thirty days is the longest
any government shutdown's been. I think we're gonna go well
past that. And then that has to do with also
(31:42):
the snap benefits have and I'm probably taking your your
thunder here, Scott, as I've never ever won. November first,
they have officially said that they will not be funded
on that day. You know, who knows how much longer
it's going to take. But there's a lot of fear
mongering out about this as well. You know, I sent
(32:02):
you guys a video, so I never got it. Oh
didn't you get it? Okay? But basically, you know, it's
about eighty six percent of Americans that use Snap, and
so there are a lot of you know, illegals called
or whoever using the Snap benefits. But from what I
understand's about eighty six percent, and that the average.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Is Shane, just to clarify what you said, you said
eighty six percent of Americans or using Snap. Eighty six
percent of people who use Snap are Americans?
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Correct? Yes, all right.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
Yeah, eighty six percent of people who are on this
Snap program are Americans, right, not eighty six percent of Americans.
Speaker 1 (32:38):
No, I think it's twenty one five because Snap doesn't
report that data anymore. They stopped reporting that data in
twenty twenty two.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
But I also understand that the average benefit is only like,
it's less than two hundred dollars. Snap program. Yeah, so
obviously that's going to affect some people per person?
Speaker 1 (33:01):
Is that what a person?
Speaker 2 (33:02):
Okay? The number one in the size of the family,
It could be it could be sizable.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Yeah. The number one group of recipients are children. The
second largest group are the elderly. Right, But back in
twenty twenty two and the last available data, eighteen percent
of SNAP recipients were undocumented illegals. Twenty seven percent were
(33:27):
documented illegals. How how could you be undocumented illegal and
have SNAP benefits? And also how can you be documented
illegal and have SNAP benefits? Right? These are things that
I'm still trying to work my head around. But that's
when they stopped reporting this data. So back then almost
forty five percent weren't Americans. So yeah, but here's the
(33:52):
cool thing. So, like SNAP is funded into a card,
that card is then used or not used, but the
role over stays on the account until it's used. But
you have to report what you're using as you use it,
and if you don't report it, then they don't fund
your card again if for some reason that doesn't actually
(34:13):
get funded on November first, Right, You'll still be able
to use what's in your account and they're estimating that
most people actually have a surplus in their account because
they don't use it all every month. But everything, if
it does get delayed, will get re will get charged
(34:34):
again once the funding gets approved. Will it be as
big of an issue as we're being led to leave.
I don't think it will be.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
Snap is different than EBT, right.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
No, it's the same. Snap is EBT. Snap food stamps
is EBT. Oh, okay, EBT is the card system for it.
But yeah, we we used EBT Snap food stamps when
we were doing foster care because we got those benefits
(35:07):
for the foster kids because we took into and it
was it was an absolute pain. Like I all the time,
I was like, let's just use our money. It's so
much easier because we could just go buy groceries and
feed the kids. But to use EBT, we had to
like line item everything and return with paper reports every month.
And this was I hope hopefully now it's electronic, but
(35:29):
we'd have to submit all the paper reports, scan them
and upload them every month and we would get audited
on that. It was a pain in the butt. So
I don't know if it's simpler now. I hope it is,
but that was twenty fourteen. It was a nightmare. I
hated it.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
That's interesting.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
I had I had food stamps from like twenty eleven Era,
and we just swiped the card and ran for it.
We didn't have to do any of that report reporting.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
Maybe it was because it was foster care. It was horrible,
like we had we had to report everything, and so
weird nickel and dimed on everything, and then we had
to prove that we use at least so much of
their benefits on them. I'm like, there was nothing left
to use on us if we wanted to, So just
how anybody could use a portion on yourselves.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
There there was a government shut down when I back
when I was in California, there was a government shutdown
like this, and that extended the the EBT, and I
remember like there was there was the theft in California
for sure, because the lines, I mean it was walmarts
and stuff were dangerous for a couple of days. So,
(36:34):
I mean there's certain places in California where there you're
not cited for a crime for stealing something less than
a certain dollar amount. So they're they're rating stores and
pulling things off of the shelves now and walking out
with and who cares. I can imagine it's going to be. Yeah,
is there a little bit of fear porn involved with this?
Speaker 3 (36:55):
I think so.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
However, I do also want you I do think it's
going to be a it's gonna be it could be
a significant situation.
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Let's just put it that way.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
Because you know, I'm going to go grocery shopping, you know,
Friday or Thursday night for the week. I'm not going
to go on Saturday. I'm you know, until the end
of next week to see how things shake out, right, So, yeah,
you get things done early just in case. Under prepared, guy,
I mean that's what I do.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Right. So, and the chat they're talking about, like what
Walmart CEO said, they're they're they're planning on shutting down
shopping at their stores. You have to only you can
only order online. That's yeah, I've heard that that'll fully happen.
It'd be interesting to see what what does happen. But
(37:40):
what's funny is is so I shouldn't say funny. What's
interesting is is there's also coming up. What what's the
next major thing that's happening after Halloween, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving and
then Black Friday and then Cyber Monday. There are massive
amounts of boycotts that are gonna be starting mid November
(38:00):
to late November.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Well, another thing on my list is all the layoffs.
I mean, Amazon's laying off thirty thousand people just as
the holiday season's ramping up. Typically they're hiring people, so well.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
They're still so Amazon is letting people go. The delivery
groups are not Amazon employees, oh right, right, right, So
they're letting go warehouse and facility, data science, sales, like
all the internal stuff, and they're replacing those jobs with
(38:36):
what yeah, AI assistance.
Speaker 2 (38:39):
Well that's another thing about the government shutdown, is suspected that,
you know, after some of these employees, if they go
sixty days, then they can actually be be let go. Yeah,
and so it suspected that, okay, that's the plan, of course,
you know conspiracy theory, that after the sixty days, then
you know, they'll be pluging AI in to fill a
(39:00):
lot of these positions, which you know, for a government
that seems like a lot easier than most corporations to do,
because most employees don't produce anything anyway, they're just you know,
getting a paycheck.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
In many cases, I over generalizing.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
It's going to be interesting to see how November plays out.
November World Update, It's going to be very interesting.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
That might be. It'll be in November to remember, that's
for sure.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, unfortunately, I think so. Okay, So other things about
the government shutdown. Have you guys heard what's happening in
the national parks? No, this is kind of awesome. Doesn't
hurt us as preppers or affect us really, but drone flights.
Unprecedented numbers of drone flights because it's illegal, but there's
(39:47):
no one to stop it. Also, base jumpers, yes, experienced
the largest number of base jumpers ever. Hikers are reporting
that it's absolutely terrifying because have base jumpers zoom past
them as they're hiking up a trail, so a body
will fly past them. What these wingsuits and stuff?
Speaker 2 (40:07):
Uh, just crazy.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
But all the all the national parks here in Utah
are being flooded. We just had school out for a
week last week, and so like everybody or two weeks ago,
everybody was out in the parks. It was insane.
Speaker 4 (40:23):
I went to Zion, So yeah, I'm guilty.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
You're one of those. But Yeah, it's it's crazy. But
that's enough about that. I just wanted to bring it
up because it's really quite fascinating.
Speaker 4 (40:34):
I wanted to say something about what's going on in
Canada with regards to the wilderness and national parks. Have
you guys heard that They they literally are telling people
do not go into the woods. Do not go into
the wilderness, even if you own the property. Do not
go into the woods, because you will be arrested or fined.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
I just saw it.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
Yeah, because because of so many fires out of Canada
or well, yeah, so many fire right.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Yeah, it's only convinces I believe that have have made
that illegal to be out of.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
It might be, but like imagine, if you're in a
Canadian you can't you can't have a gun anymore, you can't,
you can't go in the wilderness anymore, even if you
if it's your property and you own it and you
have a cabin, They're like, stay stay within a certain
number of feet of the actual you know, house or whatever,
you like.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Twenty thousand Canadian dollar fine or something like that, some
something pretty ridiculous, twenty five thousand or something like that.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
Well, there's interesting there's reports out of a couple of
different states, but Arizona. I used to live there, so
this will hit me interestingly. Rainfall in Arizona this time
of year unprecedented for the last forty years. Wow, you
know it started about forty years ago in Arizona, weather modification,
(41:52):
a government shut down, and so in well, yeah, nobody's stopping.
What what what's going on? So it's quite interesting. And
they're also saying there's a lot less uh chemptrails and
stuff going on, right, so interesting interesting stuff. Okay, other news.
(42:14):
I know we're running out of time. We got about
eighteen minutes left. So you remember what happened in Venezuela.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (42:22):
We already talked about Venezuela. I remember what happened to
Thailand with the banks.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
Yes, eighty seven million.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Do you know what the people are doing?
Speaker 2 (42:30):
Oh that was Vietnam. That's right, it is Vietnam.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
So it was Vietnam. Oh, yes, our Vietnam. So here's
what's interesting about it. The people because they smoothed, they
moved everything over to digital currency and shut down all
the bank accounts, digital IDs, digital i ds, digital currency
and shut down the bank accounts. All the people boycotted
and they're using cash, and all the mod pop stores
and all the people are using cash to get around everything.
(42:56):
And the government's like, oh, we screwed up because they
can't they can't monitor, track or do anything with any
of that. But the banks still have to accept the
cash for payments, and so they're they're like, screw it,
We're just gonna do cash. But they're gonna run out
of cash when they put it all into the bank. Like,
I don't know what's gonna happen over the next few months,
but it's interesting that it's crippled the national economy, but
(43:20):
yet people are working their way around it with just
using cash between each other.
Speaker 3 (43:24):
That's awesome. Yeah, the bank illegal, they're not going to
put it back out.
Speaker 1 (43:30):
Yep, you know.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
So yeah. Venezuela, Venezuela, I know, we talked about that briefly,
but that's really ramped up. A whole nother what do
they call it, A whole nother carric straight carrier group
was sent down there and I think upwards of ten
thousand marines. So something's gonna go, something's gonna happen down there.
(43:55):
They've been ramping up, So keep your eyes on there.
I mean, that's I want to call it our backyard,
but it's it's pretty darn close to the US that
we don't usually see this type of stuff. So, you know,
our administration just blowing up boats, you know, not arresting him,
not putting him, giving him a trial. And you know,
Trump even said out loud, you know, we'll just kill him.
(44:18):
You know, anybody's bringing uh drugs into the US, We'll
just kill them.
Speaker 4 (44:22):
Yeah, like and then he says, you know, like they'll
just be dead. What dude, oh man?
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Yeah, pretty crazy. So let's see what else I got
on here. Oh, India another thing by gold and silver
real quick. India has started to accept silver and gold
as collateral for for for loans, so they're essentially that's
remonetizing gold and silver. And again that's happening. That kind
of stuff is happening all over the world because of
(44:51):
lack of lack of trust and currencies. Wow. Nothing, And
then of course I got to bring in three I
alas right, it is. It's in Paihealion, so it's going
around the back of the Sun and there's being watched
very closely by I think the administration of NASA has
(45:12):
basically act well, the NASA has activated its Earth Defense Group,
an early warning system, UH, to watch for all of
them to watch three eye at lists right now is
what the potential is as it comes around the Sun,
it could potentially there's an effect that that could happen.
(45:34):
The Sun can alter its its path and either direct
it more towards Earth or more away from Earth. But
also they can they're assuming that there's potentially an intelligent
design in this by what happens as it comes around
the Sun, by gathering more energy from the Sun and
so forth. So I think what's going to happen is
they're going to say, well, look what this did. Of
(45:54):
course I can't verify, you can't verify, we have no
idea what actually is happening. They're gonna say something, Oh,
this is this is definitely some uh, some ship, some
kind of craft because it did this maneuver, it did that,
and then now we have to watch out, uh and
it's just more siop.
Speaker 1 (46:13):
Well, it's interesting because NASA and Japan are arguing over
the facts. Japan is saying that it's slowing down and
changing direction and then it's emitting steady illumination, whereas NASA
is saying, oh no, no, it's it's not doing it's
doing different things in what Japan's saying. Japan is not
a credible source. Right, So they're arguing against each other.
(46:33):
It's like, okay, if they show up then we'll have
an issue until then, like, stop stop bothering me, right,
I'm more also doing with the food shortages, the the
drug shortages that are coming, right, Yeah, the constant shortages
of things and the hyperinflation of things that we actually want.
(46:54):
Real food is getting impossible to buy, processed fake food
is getting more and more affordable, and obesity is getting
a becoming a bigger and bigger epidemic, right post JAB
injuries is getting bigger and bigger, more and more problems.
All the backpedaling around those subjects. It's it's phenomenal the
(47:17):
speed at which the backpedaling is happening. Yeah, but it's
not mainstream news. It's it's on the sixth page, the
eighth page, it's down below, right, and it's all three
i AT lists that's heading the news, right, So who
knows what really is actually yeah happening.
Speaker 2 (47:42):
Yeah, Well, then of course today there was another rate
cut twenty five bases points, which is just going to
fuel inflation of anything that should be raising rates. The
last inflation number was three percent, which it's all rigged anyway,
doesn't include few food or few rule or housing.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
Uh. And you know.
Speaker 2 (48:03):
It's it's the cped lies. It's called right, it's not
it's it's not accurate. It's it's a manipulated like that word.
Speaker 4 (48:12):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (48:13):
And so with additional cut in interest rates, it can
be more borrowing, more lending, more dollars in the system,
and create more more inflation. So we prepared for that.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (48:25):
They're saying that the mortgage rates were supposedly going to
be coming down soon too as well.
Speaker 3 (48:29):
That was one of their predictions.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
Yeah, and they have been. They're down. They're the thirteen
year thirteen month low right now. So thirteen years year, no,
thirteen month low.
Speaker 1 (48:39):
Yeah, yeah, thirteen months.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
So that's that's some good news if you if you
need to buy a house, right, the thirteen month lows
better than it was. Yeah, it's going to come down,
It potentially come down. It seems like every time the
the rate is lowered by the FED, actual real rates
go up. So we'll have to see what happens.
Speaker 1 (49:01):
What's interesting. Field Tech just brought up the fuel dropped
to two seventy three. Two days later it was back
up to three thirty one. Like, I just went on
a trip. My family went on vacation. We went to California,
Stan to visit some mouse trap for people and some
other places Lego Land also. That was a lot of fun.
Stupid stupid money spent on all these places. But what's
(49:22):
interesting is is the cost of fuel down. There was
almost a dollar more than here, And in all my
travels back and forth, I've never had it more than
fifty cents difference. But it was just shot up. Like
it's been crazy, but yeah, it our cost of living
(49:44):
expenses are going through the roof and it's not accurately
being reported as as Shane pointed out in the inflation report.
But yeah, we also saw the billboards telling us what
mortgage rates were and I was like, oh wow, this
is really good. This is a lot better than it's been.
We're below six for a change. But I don't see
that lasting either, because we have a housing crisis and
(50:07):
it's not getting fixed.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
They're not really coming down. That's the big deal is
the price prices. Yeah, but they kind of kind of
can't come down. They could also today I think as
of today or yesterday, in Vidia now past five trillion
market cap? What five trillion? How are they going up?
When AI chips and a circular accounting which is a
(50:35):
long conversation, and you got to go over to Nobody's
special finance. He explains it really well how that works.
But you know, this is all It's all a bubble.
AI is a huge bubble. None of these companies actually
make a profit, except for Nvidia because they're selling hardware.
Those who are developing AI, they make money, but they
(50:57):
don't make a profit. And yeah, yeah, so and that's
a whole nother agenda we could talk about.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
As well as zombie corporations.
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Well, zombie corporations, but you know, then them giving us
a certain AI when they're holding the actual AI for themselves, right,
for governments and and the wealthy, right, Well, I.
Speaker 1 (51:17):
Mean advancements are going to wear the d O D sorry,
the d ow pallet, right, all of those technologies. Palatier
is is all those technologtologies, technologies are going there first.
And I think with the advanced warfare systems that are
coming out, like we're going to have to get more
(51:39):
and more creative in how we defend ourselves in the
future and how we go as as gray as we
possibly can, unnoticeable as we possibly can, like grow all
the trees and shrubs around your house possibly can, so
that you can utilize those as as camouflage. It's going
(51:59):
to be crazy.
Speaker 2 (52:00):
Yeah, absolutely. And then, uh, vehicle repos have you heard
about the vehicle repownd news? Last year about one point
seven million vehicles were repossessed this year, were it already
at two point two? And another important part about that
is last year, uh, there were only about two point
(52:20):
three million defaults with one point seven million cars repode.
This year it's already to like seven point with like
some point five million defaults.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
And I'm seeing a lot of news about buybacks. Okay,
a lot of the people who are before they're getting
to the three month mark of being defaulted by three months,
they're being offered buybacks. They're giving giving them cash to
bring their car in before it hits that so that
the dealership doesn't get thinged to right, which is interesting
(52:57):
because that goes back to the whole Well, the ship
probably has money amount, but no one's actually making money.
Speaker 2 (53:03):
Right, these dealers probably have recourse. They probably or the
loans probably have recourse on these dealers and say, okay,
if it gets uh, but it goes back to you
and you've got to you've got to sell it. They've
got to make up the difference or whatever. So that
that could potentially be part of that. But also, yeah,
just keeping sending these cars off the market to skew
the numbers. It's yeah, it's it's pretty ugly out there,
(53:25):
especially you know, with these thousand dollars a month car payments.
It's just mind boggling the price of these vehicles. Just
not participating myself, not not gonna do it.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Yeah, it's it's frustrating because it's like I've been watching
cars for a long time and the price is dipped
for a little bit, and I was like, maybe I'll
buy a four Runner now and then the price will
back up. I'm like, Nope, the mileage goes up and
the price goes up, And I'm like, how.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
How how did you hear about the truckload of monkeys
that crashed and escaped?
Speaker 1 (53:58):
Uh? Not just monkey research? What kind of research? Monkeys?
Speaker 2 (54:04):
Covid herpies, those types, So what that's what they say, right,
And they say, oh, they're not they're not contagious, and
apparently they're all but one. There's one still out there
or something, but who knows.
Speaker 1 (54:17):
Aggressive aggress Okay, yes, well they're aggress the crap out
of me, man, I infected monkeys. The two words that
worried me the most aggressive and infected. And they claim
they caught them all but one.
Speaker 2 (54:33):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
Standing on the side of the road with their badges, going,
I don't know what to do. How do you catch
your monkey? Like it's turning into movies, like our entire
sci fi movies coming coming to true life.
Speaker 3 (54:51):
Well, think about what you just said.
Speaker 4 (54:52):
I watched I just watched Superman The New Superman with
my daughter and Alex Luthor had uh angry research monkeys
in his Pocket universe and they were freed from the
Pocket universe and they went running out all over the
world when they were So when you said there was
(55:13):
a research monkeys, I was like, what is this predicted
programming from Superman movie?
Speaker 1 (55:21):
Interesting? That's interesting.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
I hate those planners of the movies field tech. I
can't stand them.
Speaker 4 (55:27):
Yeah, this last one was it was it was you know,
fun I watched it with my daughter and she's Superman.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
Anyways, that's crazy. Well we're we're almost up on time.
What are the final final topics?
Speaker 4 (55:40):
I think final thoughts for me on on what's happened
this last week is just this last month is just
what's happened this last week. And with Hurricane Melissa, I
mean that the whole country of Jamaica was absolutely devastated.
They went to the point where they were even their
first responders needed first responders, and their hospitals out and
(56:00):
there all of their medical facilities and medical supplies just
got blown out, blown out, and so then.
Speaker 3 (56:08):
Cuba got hit.
Speaker 4 (56:09):
But you know, there's more and more of these natural
disasters quote unquote natural disasters. You know, when you when
you when you spray things into the air, things naturally, Naturally.
He died of natural causes. Yeah, he was shot in
the head. Yeah, well naturally, when you shoot somebody in
the head, they're gonna die, so naturally. Anyways, you know,
(56:31):
you get a natural cause of a hurricane like that,
it was you know, it's pretty it's pretty serious. So
whether or not you're gonna have an earthquake or you're
going to have a tornado, or a hurricane or whatever
your area. I mean, even flooding is going crazy and weird, wild,
crazy places, and so just just you know, think about
some of these scenarios where you're, where you live, especially
(56:55):
what could happen in terms of natural disasters or even
be modified to be considered a natural or blamed on
a natural disaster, and try to get yourself ready as possible.
Because Jamaica was not prepared. I mean it's it's kind
of a second third world country anyways, but still they're well,
they're not too far away from you know, most of
these places in the world now are pretty they're getting
(57:16):
they were getting more and more sophisticated. Le's put it
that way, and I think that it's a good example
that of what could happen. And shoot, the poor people
of Jamaica just got devastated, and that could happen to
any of us anywhere with these natural disasters. So just
try to do your best to be ready as m
as much as possible.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
Well, I think you know, my kind of closing thought
is along those same lines. The earthquake Invernal we mentioned
a previous podcast that is a really big deal and
in that community that's that science has been turned I
won't say upside down, but it's been stirred up quite
a bit. An earthquake, what's sixty eight kilometer forty miles deep,
(57:56):
which is into the upper mantle shouldn't should happen. We
shouldn't be able to feel it. It shouldn't be that big.
And it's just making a lot of questions for these sciences.
It's it's changing a lot of things. And there was
when I learned another similar earthquake a couple of years
(58:16):
before in the same similar area I think twenty twenty,
a little bit smaller, but also like fifty eight kilometers deep,
And so things are changing and not just man made.
You know, Mother Earth is will have her revenge, I
guess you could say that, right, And the world's elite
(58:39):
will not be able to accomplish their plants because God
has other plants, I mean to an extent, right. So
that's what I believe, and that's where my faith lies.
And you know, we talk about all these things, and
I don't put a whole lot of weight into them. Honestly,
it doesn't. They don't keep me up at night. I
sleep well, I don't. I'm not worried about it. I've
got a new kind of f alsophy I'm starting to work.
(59:02):
Is is just sit back and observe. Right, just sit
back and watch, and things are going to get worse.
What's that take?
Speaker 4 (59:12):
You have some popcorn with you while you're.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
Saying yeah, exactly, Detach, detach and observe, detached, observe.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
