superstar Matt Cardona will be on it as well. But
this match is a table, ladders, and chairs match and
this is gonna be hopefully a finality to the feud
between him and an Estra, so we can't wait to
get any excited about it. Of course, he's gonna be
competing a Sunday at Galli Lucha Lib represents Galles Dave Dad.
(00:46):
Make sure to check him out. He's defending the Gladiatoris Championship.
Is there as well, where he holds the Gladiatorist Championship,
and we've seen him also hold championships in other promotions
like mc W. I believe you're a champion as well,
and currently your CSW Metro Division Champion and you have
about in another promotion.

Yes, Skirts Circle Megastars.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Mega Okay, the Mega Champion as well, right so you're
gret pretty busy, you're in demand.
Speaker 4 (01:13):
Yeah, feel feels pretty good, man. Just happy to be
at these places and just doing my thing.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
Great when I hope you're having a good week.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yeah, man, so far as so far is pretty good.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Man.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
I actually like Monday's so like start the week off
going good for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
I mean, you're had a busy weekend. I mean, we
saw you at a you know, a w's coming up
you're gonna have. I mean, it's a hot, hot month
for Chicago Pro Wrestling. It's like the last month of
the year. We got CSW their biggest show of the year,
a w's biggest show of the year, you know as well,
and uh, you know we just saw you with Warhorse
at Second Wrestling. So when you just see all these
(01:52):
shows that you're part of, how does that make you feel?
You got a big show that you just did and
you have another big show coming up. What do you
think it feels good?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
Man?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
I feel like I always kind of look back at
the stuff that I was doing at one point to
be see myself awesome and like, yeah, man, getting these
opportunities to make debutes and different promotions and to be
around Chicago is really awesome.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
So so drinking sure man to be able to be
doing this.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Is there a particular match that maybe promoters saw or
a particular clip or something in particular where they're like, oh,
we noticed you, We want to on our show.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Not that I know of, but I don't know. I hope.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
So I hope they see my social media stuff or
something but here or work from somebody, you know, I
hope they do. You know, that's kind of why we
post that type of stuff, just to get that attention,
you know, just try going viral or something. But like, yeah,
I hope, I hope they do see my stuff and
go like, wow, I want to book this guy definitely.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
And originally had a big CSW Championship match back at November,
which was, you know, the biggest show to date or
seconds any showdown. When you reflect and think about that matchup,
how did you feel about it?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (03:05):
It was me versus an Estra and a two to
three falls match, and uh, things obviously didn't end the
way both of us wanted it to end.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
And now we got a.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Tables, ladders and chairs match coming up this Friday at CSW,
and you know it's all gonna end here man, we're
gonna end it with.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
A big, big match.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
You know this is it'll start off as a singles match,
and I was gonna ended up tables, ladders and chairs
match though.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
We're gonna go off, Yeah, it's it's gonna be an
insane match. And you've done ladder matches tenior at aa
W at the gym line of memorial tournament or a
ladder match rather, so you face some hefty competition there.
But what would be the difference between being like a
multi person ladder match and this is a singles ladder match,
so there's really no room for error. There's a lot
(03:51):
less breathing time or you know, break time in between.
What are you doing to prepare for this one?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Actually, just today I was doing card at the gym
and I was watching Jeff Hardy punk at SummerSlam the
table that as a shared match, because I was like,
I need a motivation, I need to get some ideas,
and I'm a big Jeff Hardy fan, so I was
just learning from the goat nice nice.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Is there a particular match of his or a particular
memory you you you you that sticks with you?
Speaker 3 (04:20):
I feel like all of his insane spots that we
stood out to me right now.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
They came to my mind, was like when he faced
Umaga at Extreme Rules and you did that swamp up
from the trailer and like just like the little everything
Jeff Party did always kind of like him in the
morning in the bank where you do that like leg
drop thing that he always does.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Onto got carried.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Out, Like I don't know, I'm a big Jeff Party fan,
so like anything he does, I'm always like, oh yeah, yeah,
So like you're trying to challenge my inner, uh my inner,
Jeff Hardy.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
This Friday, it's get extreme for sure.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
It's gonna be probably the biggest crowd that CSW has
had since you've been a part of it.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah as well. We we we're.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Looking at a close to capacity crowd, which would be
over four hundred. Yeah, for the latest numbers, I'm gathering
that that it's it's it's it's gonna be a sellout.
So how excited you that? Is this gonna be one?
Is this the biggest crowd you competed under or you
done bigger crowds?
Speaker 3 (05:18):
I feel like I have done bigger crowds.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Maybe not sure, but uh yeah, man, I'm excited for
this too.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I've never iver seen this venue.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
It's the first runs and it's something big for this show.
It's something big for the company of Chicagtaw Wrestling, and
I'm happy to be a part of it and be
a part of history.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
And I get to defend my championship belt. And if
it was ladders and chairs.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Match and it's the end of the end of the
year type stuff, so it's like.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
We're ending it with a bang.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Oh yeah, for sure. And if anybody could go back
and watch his matches you had with Andestra, the first
match with Spectacular, when you guys pulled out the stops,
the second match again the two out of three falls,
then' uh exactly end the way we wanted it to go.
But when you go back and look at just the
quality that you guys are putting in match after match,
(06:06):
can you talk about that?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah? I think I think I heard Boss say, we're
mister Steve Boz.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
He was saying, how like he's like, these guys have
a feud of like the top basket cruiserweights in the Midwest,
just having a big feud. And I think we've had
crazy going on feud And now he goes to the
announce the third match, you know, so I feel like, yeah,
we've had a good match, the first match where I
won the belt, then we have another match, and now
(06:33):
we're here. You know, it has to go to the
has to go to peak of the you know, the battle.
So yes, yeah, man, I feel like we put on
show after show and banger after banger, and I think
whoever's seeing us school add it knows that, oh ship,
they had a good match, and the singles. Imagine what
they're gonna do with the tables, liners and chairs, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, I feel like it's very highly anticipated and also
it's probably gonna be match maybe maybe be match to night.
You have a lot of other great matches on the
card as well. I mean when you saw the lineup
and how I came together, how excited were you shared
a show with about these other names?
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, I was excited.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Man MacDonald was coming in, Gringo Local coming in again,
b Boyle.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
J Like, I think it's gonna be It's gonna be
an awesome show man.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Yes, Kylie Ray as well, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:21):
Kyler Kylery as well.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
You know one of them.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I was like, wait, I think you forgot Yeah, and
it will be the first time you kind of meet
some of these wrestlers, right and get all of them.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Yeah, that's cool. That's cool.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
So that's always gonna be a lot of fun Kylie
Ray is known for having uh, some of the best
fan interactions or like most like huge crowd responses. Yeah,
dead fans have seen here in Chicago.
Speaker 5 (07:47):
So yeah, and if I'm correct, it's raviss Maggie Lee
for the first time ever.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yes, I think that's something that's a drop that matches
a drop by itself. Man, Like I feel like like
a rarity right there. So yeah, definitely it's place you
got to be there.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Now, what if a.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
Female competitor try to step up and challenge you for
the CSW veter Division Championship, what would be your reaction be,
I know, in extra face mysticate earlier this year, how
would you feel.
Speaker 3 (08:14):
I'd go for it. Man.
Speaker 4 (08:15):
The challenge is open to anybody, man, I fear nobody.
So yeah, the challenge is always going to be. The
door is always there, you know, if you were to
doors step up, let's get it.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
I could see Maggi Lee possibly emerging as someone to
do that. You know, it's not like, oh, I'm not
going for the woman's belt. I'm going for the vet
division belt.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
You know, I'd be a wild mash that's too high.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
Yeah, yes as well, because you know you you're both
have really come a long way in such a short time.
She kind of started it out at CSW at the
same time you start gaining the business.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah, I actually do remember like when me, I mean
a Belmont, Maggie Lee, we'd all be like in the
in the Battle Royal.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Oh wow, like now we're here.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
So that's really cool to see like the progress of
all the people and see a still that are the
main card.
Speaker 3 (09:03):
Now.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, I'm excited to see. You know how far you
guys have came. It's such a short time. I felt
like there was just like kind of another class that
had like a kind of you know, plateau, and then
a new class just came right in and it was you,
it was Maggie Lee. It's been Eddie and and uh
and Jack and they have a great match coming up
as well. And and you know Hans Cardon, who's kind
(09:27):
of like I feel like he belongs there because he
reinvented himself. Yeah, he's a tough guy that you've faced
on on multiple occasions, you know, in Galli And so
how do you when you have a guy that's like
you're facing him in one promotion and you're facing him,
and how do you make it different so that where
your fans go to both promotions? How are you gonna
(09:47):
make it different?
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (09:49):
It just depends.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
Like when I worked the before, like a Galley, it'd
be like, you know, it's Luca style, man, we're gonna
do We're gonna do some high flying stuff. And when
it's like all right, oh shit, it's more of like wrestling,
you know, still doing high fine stuff and not as
the loop.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Type of stuff. Yeah. What was your toughest encounter with Hans?
Speaker 1 (10:08):
Was it the CSW match because you didn't have much
time to prepare for him? Was it Gally because you
defended I believe you defend a Glady Tourist title against him,
or you haven't yet?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
I know I have not, but I haven't been multiple
occasions at Gailey. Yeah, I would say.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
I would say my hardest match for him would be
at JWA when we had a match that turned into
a tag team match with him in Alpha Zeta Zeta
and me and my old tag team partner Poncho.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Okay, what made that one more difficult.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Because it went from being a singles match pretty long
singles match.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
That turned into a tack team match. So it was
a very long match.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
I remember I was sick that day and like I
couldn't breathe. I was bringing out my mouth on my nose.
I was getting very, very tired, but we still went
through it.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Now we had you facing Warhorse at Second Wrestling. How
did you feel about your performance against Warhorse? Did he
kind of give you the rub at the end, like,
hey man, you know he may not show it to
the crowd, but he seemed like, you know, man, you
belong here with me something like that.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Yeah, that was my second time working Warhorse and I
that was an awesome match. We didn't get the win,
but I think the crowd enjoyed that match and it
was a great, great match, and I think it was
better than the one that we had at CSW. And
I'm actually really happy with that match. And yeah, the
wars very hard competitor. He's a very he's a very
talented guy himself. I was a fan when he was
(11:39):
his other Gammick. I forgot what it was, but like, yeah,
he was a good guy. He was awesome, so like
seeing him as a heel. Yeah, man, it was a
tough competition, but I think it was an awesome match
that the crowd went home like, holy shit, this this was.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Great, awesome, awesome And you guys, did you guys kick
that show off when you're an opening match.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Or no, I think we're a third two man?
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Okay, yeah that man ten allowed the prizes and then
and you got to meet I believe Kylie Ray or
get introduced to Kylie Ray for the first time, because
that was the first time you and Kylie were on
the same show, right right, I've seen her like before.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Like like I did like w W stuff, but like
other than that, yeah, that was the first time in
a show that I.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
Did share with her, like this would be my second one.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Yeah, So how cool was that experience is seeing her
come out at the end and now making her claim
for that that that second championship.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Yeah, it was pretty crazy. Even the crowd was like
surprise for it.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
And uh yeah second second is a good company in
its place to be at. I recommend anyone anytime they
come down down man, go leave your tickets.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Man, this is always It was something different for.
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Sure, and you kind of like elevated there you did
like a pre show match and maybe leave over the summer,
right yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
And then uh yeah, and then I got a final
four way for their forgot the name of the belt.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
And heritage, yeah street heritage.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Yeah yeah, it was me versus Sean Magan versus A. J.
Francis versus Darius Latrell. And then I finally got my
singles match to like, I guess shown who I am?
And yeah, man, it was a four horse so it
was yeah, that was probably the best person to face
to the singles to I guess show who I am?
Speaker 1 (13:12):
For sure, we had you seen, uh we we had
you against uh Mascareros to Asda the Ultimate Combat Gauntlet
and uh this Ultimate Combat Gauntlet like you've you've told
me about this before, and it's a it's definitely a
unique promotion.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Yes, that's really coming to it all right.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
Yeah, it's definitely not like your normal match.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I think you see like people who you see other
places be a different person here, right, Like I was
sort of a bad guy at versus Waseda, and I
think we got to see soda. Do you know, pull
out his best in this match too, and I think
it was great to see him do stuff that he
doesn't normally do and it was great really.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
So you guys got the total line for your villain
be a he Yeah, well we've seen that a little
bit in a w believe before we're on the main card.
But yeah, now talk about Boz. You had this match
with him at Galley. Is this the match you asked for?
Did you want to defend a glad of Tourist championship
(14:14):
against them or I think there was just.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Boss an opportunity to have he uh from Crank He
was gonna go somewhere else, but some stuff happened and
he was like, hey man, I'm free for the day,
and Carlos told me, you want to defend your belt
against Steve Bos and the match happened, and I think,
I generally that's probably my favorite match to this day.
And I think a lot of people should have been
there for that match, and I think the crowd went
home happy. It was a great match against the Boz.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
That's great man.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
I know that you wanted to have that that singles
another singles match with him, and having it in Galley,
how much that it mean to you because you afraid
of him in other promotions, right.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
Yeah once a Demi Jak when I was pretty new,
I wasn't even you're in and.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Uh this time I faced up now as like.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
I've improved a lot, so like to be able to
wrestle there now it was like a way bigger, different
person that experience wise too, and I think, uh, yeah,
I really enjoyed this match. And yeah, to be able
to still wrestle my my train who's obviously older, I'm
so able to go.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, that that that's that's that's great.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
You've had the opportunity and your said mentioned before you
had the opportunity to do stuff with w w E.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Yeah, it's an extra optivity.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
That's okay, anything you'd like to anything that that like
kind of like the size and scope of what they
do on their level, you see, like the difference in
the nuances from what you're doing on the independent to
what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
I'm sure there's a lot a lot of difference.
Speaker 4 (15:41):
Yeah, definitely, there's a lot of stuff And it was
just cool to be there for sure.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
And you did you get to be one of like
the security on screen.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Or Yeah, when they came, I was like, uh, you
just sign me next to like Cody Roach for like
a split second.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Nice. Nice.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
And So when you were you had those experiences like that,
how how much you feel like, man, I want to
I want to make it and I want to be
signed to a promotion like this and and be on
TV everywhere.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
How important is that for you at this point?
Speaker 1 (16:12):
Like I want to you know, spread what I do
to the massis tout the world.
Speaker 3 (16:18):
Yeah, it's it's very important for me.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
When I joined wrestling, I think before I did wrestling,
I was being maxic for like six years, and I
was so like committed and like my goals like I
need to get sponsored and become professional. I was able
to get sponsored professional, So I've always put my mind
to it.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
In the moment I was like I'm going to retire
and just do wrestling, I knew.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I was like, if I do this, I got a
goal the way through, so like to be able to
do this, and when I do the NWA stuff and
the TNA stuff, I always I already knew like this
is what I want.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
I need myself here. Now it's just now, it's just
the time new happen.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
You know, I'm just gonna keep training, keep doing what
I do, and I'll see myself there in the future.
I strongly believe I can make it there and I
can see myself card future.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
So yeah, yeah, definitely we have the ww I D
thing going on. It's being tagged and different wrestlers are
getting other opportunities for sure. Yeah, and so tell us
about a Dreamway of wrestling, Like, from what you know
about it, how do you feel like you're going to
fit into their alternative division? We know Marcus Mathers is
(17:20):
their champion, and obviously you and him would have a
great matchup, mix it up very well if that's the
match that they do put together. But and overall from
what you've seen there, how how do you feel like
you what can you bring to them that they don't have?
Speaker 4 (17:35):
I think I think I fit perfectly into their division
of the Cruiser ways to be able to see like
the King go go through there. There's so many names
that have gone through there that I can't even list
them all. But like, I think I fit in perfectly,
and that crowd hasn't really seen me, so I think
it'll be the solid wrestling I do will probably make them.
Speaker 3 (17:53):
You know, you know, it'll have them have their phone
out film in it. So I think, yes, perfectly there
and yeah late the last.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
Time and anything about Marcus Mathers, the you know about.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Him, I saw it as not that long ago. I
was watching names is like Star Wars Charlie at GCWO
a YouTube. Okay, yeah, I love the wrestle them singles too, man,
that'd be awesome. Yeah, like and shit, So I mean, yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Yeah, that'd be great to see you guys mix it
up as well. You don't have an opponent yet for
a Dreamway right, because it's still a few months away.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
I'll let for Dreamable announces some day soon.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Okay, do that. But I'm sure you're excited to make
your debut there.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
I'm very very excited. I think I think it'll be
a good match. Everyone's gonna be hyped for for sure.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
Do you know some of the fans follow you from
one promotion to another promotion.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Yeah, especially because like a lot of people that go
to Dreamwork too have seen me go to other places
like that, They're gonna be there and they're be like,
oh that's Carol.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
So I mean, like, I'm very excited for you.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yes, yes, for sure. And and you know they they're
doing awesome things too. You see what they're doing with
the women's and a separate woman's promotion is well and uprising, Yes, uprising.
I was.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
I was there and uh yeah, very exciting. Yes, she
showed up right.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Yes, yeah, they had a lot of surprises, so that
was pretty cool. I was why I wasn't sure maybe
oh you might have made that that rumble match, but
I know that yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
It wasn't available.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
But yeah, I do remember hearing about the Durdy and
gracepiander and I was like, oh, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yes, And can you tell us anything about Joe Henry
and the experience of a rocket pro Oh that's actually
that's actually.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
My second time meeting Joe Hendry.
Speaker 4 (19:34):
I met him when I did TNA, when I did
the TNA exposure, okay, and he was a really cool guy.
And to see him there again was cool because it
was a different promotion closer to home.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
So that thought.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
That was pretty cool to see him there.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
Nice, nice, and we can't wait to see uh maybe
you and him square off one day.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
That'd be fun, right.
Speaker 3 (19:51):
That'd be wild man.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
And then we you see like kind of like the
marketing some of these vesselers have like a Joe Henry
and and you feel like, what can you do to
stand out? Right from from from from your perspective. You know,
you do amazing moves, you do amazing you know, obviously
all the matches you are are top notch, but you
(20:14):
ever feel like you may have to, you know, add
something to the character, add a little more spice or
a flavor of an essence.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Who can Taro is?
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Yeah, I think look to the stake because like I
think a lot of people just still forget that. Like
I'm like about to complete two years wrestling, complete in February.
Speaker 3 (20:32):
Sorry, I completed in February twelve, so like I'm still
very new.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
So I feel like the Diamond of the Ruff is
a nickname given to me by my trainer, steep Ooz.
I kind of just took it and ran with it. I'm
still discovering myself. Sorry, but I've still discovered myself. And
I'm like, yeah, man, to this day, like I'm still
discovering who can Taro is? You know, so hopefully we
end up you never know, by the end of the day,
like I'll stop being the.
Speaker 3 (20:56):
Diamond the roof and I'm something else, you know, so like.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
Sure, yeah, definitely they've seen that. Definitely.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Wrestlers go through those kind of changes and in their characters,
so they kind of develop over time.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yeah, yeah, definitely, yes.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
And then when when you're you're when you're going to
the CSW shows, like you know, talk about you know,
how you're gonna, you know, excite the crowd. They've been
seeing you up until this point, and you know, they
they they can expect what you know, what you do,
but how how do you feel you're able to still
draw them in and uh, you know kind of you know,
surprise them.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
Yeah, I feel like I feel like every time you've
seen me, I was just something more wild or just
they just see something more out of.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
Me, or it's just like the energy of me coming out.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
Like I think it's cool that when I hear my
song hit or my my screen showed my design right away,
you already hear like people changing like Kean Tarot or like,
you know, I think that's awesome, And I think, uh, yeah,
after every match, it's always you know, clapping for the
two opponents in that ring, So I think, yeah, man, it's.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Always it's always You're always something new out of me.
Speaker 4 (22:01):
You know, and I'm so less okay, so like I
always like to pull out stuff that I already learned
or something different, you know, So I think it's always something.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
New out of me.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah for sure.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
I mean I feel like all your matches have different
ways of how it ends too, you have kind of
different sequences, so that's also pretty distinguishable.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Well, and when you look at Victor in Estra, let's say,
let's go back two years ago, right when you saw
him as a Metric Division champion, was there anything you said, Man,
I could take away? What could I take away from
this guy? Like, oh man, he does this so well?
Or you know he does this? Like what did you
notice the most about in Estra when you before you started,
(22:44):
you know, doing you know, all the main CSW card man,
you want the pre show, or before you even started
having matches.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
I once actually signed us way back at PPW.
Speaker 3 (22:58):
But then when I saw him there.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
At CSW and he was the Metro division champion, beat
the see Boss. The first thing I saw I was
just kind of like he was he had a team
of the brass, so he wasn't out there defending his
belts as much he was a champion. Champion should always
defend his belts, And I feel like that's one thing
that I've been doing since I got the belt. I've
been constantly defending the belt, teaming up with the brass
(23:22):
holes and doing stuff with them. So I think, uh,
that's one thing that I saw that I did differently,
you know, with my with my belt.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
Definitely, definitely.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
But anything positive that you could that that you saw
for him that you wanted to you know, emulate.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Not not that. Nothing anything I can think of the
head of him be completely.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
Okay, not so nothing like like nothing in ring that
kind of like impressed you.
Speaker 3 (23:50):
Yeah, not that I can think of. Hi'm gonna be
completely honest because like half the time when.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
When I was, when I was because when he became champion,
I I think I was about to debut, so like
I was kind of just doing my own thing as well.
Speaker 2 (24:04):
Okay, as much for sure? For sure.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
Well, I mean you've you've gotten owt to, you know,
seeing him a couple of times, you know, in the ring,
across the ring from yourself. So yeah, sure, that's it's
gonna be an exciting match when people look at table
ladders and tears. They think of all these you know,
like you said, the Hardy's, they think of all the
Dudley Boys, Edgen Christian like when you when you look
at like the legacy of this kind of match, and
(24:28):
I think it's just I'm pretty sure this is the
first time CSW has done it on this level. I'm
not sure if they've done it in the past, but yeah, yeah,
how excited are you to like kind of like create
history with this.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
I'm very very excited, especially because it's my first like
gimmick match at my.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Home promotional CSW.
Speaker 4 (24:46):
I've done ladder matches and that's about it, man, So
like to be able to do this, I'm very very
excited and to be able to end a few that's
been going on and to take yeah to you know,
it's either win it or lose it.
Speaker 3 (25:02):
So I think it's go bigger and go home at
this point. So I think, yeah, to.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
Be to end the year at CSW with a tables ladders,
a chair match, I think it's gonna send the home
to send the fans home happy. Yeah, regardless regardless of
the outcome, man, I think it's still gonna be a
match that's gonna be like, holy ship, I think the
fans already know something's cooking, Like I think they already know,
(25:27):
like these guys.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
You guys just seen the first man, you know.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
I mean seeing comments like that like oh, he's gonna
had a great master first time. Now two three, two
out of three falls. Now it's gonna be like, oh ship,
now it's a ladders match. Oh man, it's topping it.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
So yeah, yeah, yeah, I feel like that the barkeeps
game raised and raised at the CESW events.
Speaker 6 (25:47):
The card already, so I mean, yeah, for sure, and
you know, talk about that CSW Heavyweight Championship man maybe
possibly have the opportunity to hold that belt as you've
seen may have the great champions of the past, and
now we have Codin Liking as the current champion.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Have you ever thought about that kind of match of
where oh we could see you jump up to heavyweight
and face coding like it like a champion versus champion match.
I'm not saying that that maybe has that ever been discussed?
Is that something that's come across your mind?
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (26:17):
That me and Conan have never actually ever faced singles.
We've done like multiple man matches, but never a singles match.
That match by itself would be a draw and it
would be insane. Uh. I'm actually in two hundred pounds now,
so I mean I think I am a heavyweight this
like I think, uh yeah, it'd be if you another level,
(26:37):
I have to step off to another level.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
You know, I'm always training every day, so I'd be
training harder to get up to that stake of the everyway.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
You know, to be able to metro division, that's awesome,
but now to be the heavyweights, like the top of
the top of the you know, the food chart, and
I gotta be I gotta be ready for that as well.
But I think I'd believing myself that could maybe one
day be that.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Yes for sure.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
I mean that we're seeing many faces of the company,
and I know it's one thing.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
All of them have pretty lengthy title reigns.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
Yeah, you know, I haven't really seen what we consider
a short rain well, like you know it's under four
or five months, you know, Yes, it seems like they're
they're holding it like six to eight, not even for
a year, Joey Avalon hold it for a year.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
And have you have you faced Joey Avalon yet in
a singles match.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
No, I've only done a scramble match. I think it
was my third. It was my third match at season
He's main card. It was me versus Haites xcelle X
versus Joe Cipher and versus j J. Gary.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
I believe at the Click Click Boom show where Cocabana
was at that was the first time Joey avil I
spent I did something with Joey.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
Other than that, I'd love to wrestle. He's awesome.
Speaker 2 (27:47):
Yeah, he just had a great match with Zilla too.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Yeah, yeah, so yeah, I'd like to see you and
Joey as he is a former age. You feel like
that would be a good nice test for You're like, okay,
we're faced the guy who's you know, bigger, I mean,
has held this belt before. Let me see how I
do against him. If I can, you know, if I
could beat him, then maybe I'll think about moving on
to face Konen.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Definitely.
Speaker 4 (28:09):
I think it'd be a great match as well, and
I feel like it'd be a challenge for me. He's
a way bigger guy than me and I'm a small,
faster guy, so I think it'd be a hard hitting, speed,
fast strength match.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
Yes, yeah, I mean, I mean there's so many dream
matches out there as well. You de roster is so
huge and diverse, like it's it's definitely not a regular rotation,
you know. It's it's it's really big, like you could
be in this promotion and not face a guy for
a couple of years, right or several years. Yeah, you know,
it's it's crazy how deep that roster really is at points.
(28:42):
You know, well I could hear. I love having you
back on PW report. Tell everybody how they can follow you.
You got some new merch and new swag, so I
want you to promote that as well.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
And uh, you know, anything upcoming you want to announce,
go ahead.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Uh yeah, I got some merged from my big Cartel website.
Speaker 4 (29:03):

(29:24):
making some new debuts for the year.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Catch me at aaw soon that seems to be this Friday.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
And the tables I was in Chairs match h and
making my debut night Dreamwave on February eighth.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
It's already a sold out show.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Ye leave that.
Speaker 4 (29:38):
Yeah, Dreamwave is on top man, so I think to
be able to show up there and be awesome, it's
something new.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
So yeah, very excited, very exciting man. And and you know,
I feel like you're one of the guys that definitely
is rising up.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
But you're also pretty humble as well.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Thank you man, I really appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Yeah, yeah, you stay humble pretty much. And and I
ship having you on PW. Will definitely get your shirt
out to you soon. And for anybody there that's thinking
about doing this, like if you saw someone that walk
through the doors of the CSW Academy, what would you
say to them personally? Without even them asking you anything
about your experience? Like about that would just just be
(30:20):
like you know, what would you tell them? How would
you approach them.
Speaker 3 (30:24):
About like wrestling in general?
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Yeah, like they want to do this, you know, Yeah,
I would just tell them.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Like just chase your dream and believing yourself.
Speaker 4 (30:35):
I think a lot of people never believing themselves enough
to go out and do something. And I always tell myself,
like how do you think somebody should believe.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
That you're going to become this? You should believing yourself
first that you're gonna become that, because how.
Speaker 4 (30:49):
Are they gonna is somebody else gonna believe that you're
gonna be the best at one point, if you don't
even believe in yourself being the best, you got to know,
you got to have that mentality of like, I'm going
to be the best regardless, even before you know you
are the best. And I think you should always just
have your head focused on what you want and constantly
grind and constantly work hard for what you want. Anything
is possible in this earth and this world that we
live in, and just believing yourself and believing yourself is
(31:11):
the strongest thing you should do because no.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
One's gonna save you in this life.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
You're the only one that's gonna save you from right
failing or achieving your dreams and goals. So like, yeah,
pursue everything you can and just try your best and
don't have ask man, just work hard for it.
Speaker 1 (31:24):
Yes for sure, man, Well I appreciate you. You deserve
all your the success you've had so far. And yeah,
I hope, like I said, I hope we get to
see what you do. The masters will see it. People
all over the country and all over the world will
get to see what you do. It's very individual, you know,
this is very individually based sport or you know what
(31:45):
I'm saying performance, right, it's not a team thing. It's
you know, you're very individually based. You have to be
unique individually, right. Yeah, definitely, and I feel like you
do that. You definitely do that, So you definitely stick out.
And I hope you definitely had the opportunit to branch
out and go to different places with this.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah, definitely, Yeah, I hope. Uh.
Speaker 4 (32:06):
I always told myself, like my first year was just
me trying to wrestle as much as I can and
just get into the business. And my second year was
like me getting opportunities for like NWA and TNA and
like I don't even know, making new debuts, different promotions
at big promotions too.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Now I don't know what the third year has to
come for me.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
You know, I'm just very excited to get there, and
you know, finally arrived twenty twenty five, and yeah, man,
I was actually recently listening to like my first ever
podcast with you.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
And like to be listening to what I was saying
there and then.
Speaker 4 (32:36):
To listening to my second podcast was was like wow, man,
I've changed, like I've grown so much and gone so
far so early in my career, which is like, damn,
this is awesome. And I always like to look at
that because it just makes me realize, like, yeah, man.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
Same here when I do podcast, same thing. I like
to listen to where I was, you know, years ago,
to lin I'm at now, so I definitely get that
as well. But to look at stuff like that be
like damn, we're then now, look at me not. That's
always a good thing to look at for sure. Well,
I appreciate you once again for being on a PW
report and make sure everybody to check out see sw Love,
(33:12):
