Speaker 1 (00:02):
Shawn Lamb here with a p W Report and joining
us tonight from New York. We are welcoming professional wrestler
Darren Richardson the Infamous on the W Report and tonight
we're gonna hear his thoughts. He's currently part of House
of Glory. He holds the sixth Way Champion, which is

(00:24):
like a cruiserweight championship for House of Glory.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Yes, he's got it right there.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
And make sure to tune in because we know he's
gonna be headed to Chicago for the pay per view.
Watched The Throne and it's gonna be Friday night, Logan
Square Auditorium streaming on Thriller Plus Thriller TV Plus. And
we welcome you, Darren here on PW Report. How are
you doing.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
I'm doing great.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
It's your pleasure that I'm here, and I'm glad you
gave me this platform to talk because I have a
lot of things I want to get up my chest.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Well, definitely go ahead.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
The Amazing Red has been a thorn on my side
and I had the opportunity to prove to the world
that he's nothing nothing House to Glory, nothing is professional wrestling.
You said, I'll call him I call him Jonathan because
I don't respect him.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You're not the.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Amazing reds To me, He's not amazing at all.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
He's just red.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Right.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
I proved to the world that Jonathan is, if anything,
a shell of his former self. And I proved that
to him and the world when I hit him with
the chair, spit on him and left him in the dust.
And now, what's the Amazing Red doing nothing? What's the
Amazing Red saying nothing? So I guess we're just gonna
move on like here's nothing in the past, and we're

(01:49):
gonna move into the era of the infamous.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
For sure. Talk about how the road to get there?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Right, to get that championship, you had to compete in
several matches for that title before you finally captured it. So,
you know, can you tell us a little bit about
the road to get to that sixth Way Championship to
the championship you're holding right now.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Well, it was screwy and it looked impossible at some points,
you see, I felt like the universe was out to
get me for some reason. You see, I don't think
it's fair that I have to fight for this championship
for a spot to compete for this championship with five
of the men. That's just it makes no sense, and

(02:32):
I'll have to be pinned to lose. Does that make
sense to you? It doesn't make sense to me. And
then when I finally finally got my opportunity and I
won the sixth Way, it was supposed to be on
one on one match against Gringo, and then what happened?
Another sixth way? Another sixth way. But I have got
on my side and I'm the infamous, so nothing is

(02:55):
impossible for me, and I prove that to the world. Okay,
nothing is gonna stop me. BE'SI in Chicago, whatever they
have planned for me. I just want whoever's going to
go against me to keep this in mind. I'm not
going against them, They're going against me.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Okay, Well, talk about professional wrestling and how it's been,
you know, a part of your life. You feel like
it's kind of taking over a good part of your
life since you started.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
I mean it is my life. I started training since
I was sixteen years old. I've always been a fan,
but the time came that I realized that, you know what,
if there's two things that I'm good at in this world,
it's kicking ass and looking good doing it, and what
a better platform to do it than professional wrestling.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
So it's kind of a match being in heaven.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I mean, it's always God's plan, and so far God's
plan is looking amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
So when you go and you go back and look
at that match at House to Glory when you had
defeated Gringo Logo, who is a Campi at the time,
the six way match, talk about that moment you've been
closing out twenty twenty four for you in House of Glory?
Did you envision that?

Speaker 4 (04:08):
I mean, I'm not gonna say I was surprised because
I wasn't. It was only a matter of time. Twenty
twenty four has been a crazy year, and I think
it's at the tone for twenty twenty five. You see,
twenty twenty four was to tell everybody that I'm the
Infamous and I'm here and I'm here to stay. Twenty
twenty five the goal is to take over. Okay, So

(04:30):
I ended the year correctly. I'm starting this new year correctly,
and twenty twenty four is my year. Twenty twenty five
is my year, twenty twenty six of my year. Every
year is my year.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Okay, well, we can't wait to see what happens.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
We currently don't have an opponent announced for you, as
we mentioned before, but looking we're eagerly anticipating your matchout.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Absolutely I'm anticipating it too. I mean, come on, I
don't care who it is. Anybody's across the rim from me,
they're gonna realize that there's nothing quite like the Infamous.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
When you look back at your first event in Chicago,
you had a great match. You jumped off the balcony
at the Logan's Crouditorium. This was a fantastic match, and
you were in there with Ringo, you were in there
with you know, Joe Alonzo, so many other great opponents
in that one as well, I believe Robbie Egos. So

(05:26):
when you when you look at the the when you
look at that matchup, like, how did how did that feel?
How did you feel being in front of the Chicago crowd?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
First of all, I mean, the better question to ask
is how the Chicago carl Fields have the Infamous in
their presence. I started that match by talking to the
Chicago crowd and I said that everybody in that arena
and that building knows that I'm the greatest superstar has
ever crossed, has ever come across. And you know, I

(05:57):
was in the ring with the Amazing Red, Ringo Local Aris,
Robbie Eagles, and I think I proved that night that
I stole the show and I outshined out of all
of them. So when the Infamous said something, listen because
I'm right all the time.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
And how prepared are you for Friday? What's the matches announced?
How are you going to dissect your opponent or opponents?

Speaker 4 (06:24):
I mean, I stay ready, so I have to get
ready the matches. If it doesn't concern me, then I
don't think about it. But there's one match that I'm
kind of interested in, and it's Amazing Red against Charles Mason.
And although I proved to the world that Amazing Red

(06:49):
posed no threat to me, I kind of feel a
little bit disrespected. I kind of feel ignored and I
want rep attention. And I don't know what I'm gonna
do or what's gonna happen, But sooner or later, what
is it gonna acknowledge me? And I'm gonna make sure
he does it in front of every single person. As

(07:14):
far as that's concerned my match, you know, nothing the
Infamous finds things out last minute.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
It's okay, I'm ready, Okay, what.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Definitely is there anybody in particular you'd like to be
in there with?

Speaker 4 (07:31):
I mean, for talking about dream matches, there's only one
man who I think it's worth my time, and I
think it's low key. He's wrestled for Hug before, and
I think that we'd have an amazing match. Obviously, I'd
come out on top like I always do. But he

(07:52):
just has a swagger about him that I could respect.
You see, he beats you up, he takes no bones
about it. He doesn't like he's gonna beat you up,
and he's gonna walk away like you know, he's the boss.
And that's kind of what I do too. So I
think me and Loki would be an amazing match for sure.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
When you look, and that's who I was gonna ask,
is who you looked up in the business right now?
But I would say Loki is? Would you say Loki
is like that top guy?

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I mean, I like to wrestle him. I don't look
up to him, though I don't look up to nobody wrestling.
I mean, I've kind of come to a spot where
I'm carving my name, and I look at people who
I once looked up to and respected as beneath me,
Kred being one of them. Uh So, I mean, I'm
only gonna get bigger, My competition is only going to

(08:40):
get smaller.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
So it is what it is.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
But anybody that you feel like was an influence on
your career?

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Mmmm, that's a good question. Influence. I mean.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
When I started watching, a person that caught my eye
was our Truth. I liked how you know, as a kid,
it's it's cool to see somebody with that you know, energy,
interacting with the crowd and stuff like that. All the
moves were flashing, stuff like that. I was, I was
really inspired and I love the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
And then.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
He turned into kind of a joke, so you know,
what are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (09:27):
And then another question I had was about that match
Amazing Red Hats with Charles Mason, And I know you've
had conflicts with Red, as you mentioned, but how do
you what is your thoughts on this matchup? You knowing
that you know the heat that they had between each
other from the last event, you know, going into this one.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
I think that you're kind of watching the downfall of
the amazing Red. I mean it started with me, and
I think the Friday it's gonna finish with Charlie. I've
said this for years now, Amazing Red, Jonathan, the shit
ain't for you no more. It's not it's not you See,

(10:11):
he's been in this game for twenty five years. Okay,
that's older than me, all right, and he's done this,
He's done that. Amazing Red has inspired so many people.
A Swerve, Strickland, Mercedes, Monnee, they come to Hosseglory, they
give him praise. Cool, fine, an Amazing Red is an
innovator in this business. But anything that he can do,

(10:34):
the Amazing Red could do better.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
And as far as Charles Mason go, he's you know,
I beg to say that he's a chop.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
He's in the top of the Houseboy food.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Chain right now, and you know he's been killing it,
taking names, uh literally and figuratively. But I think that, uh,
I think that this Friday he's finally gonna put an
end to the Amazing Rate And I'm going to have
a very close eye on that match.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Okay, Well, it's gonna be an important one for sure.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Absolutely.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
When you look at the professional wrestling, the business right now, Like,
what are your long term goals? Would you like to
be on television one day? I feel like you have
a presence for that.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
You see this face, it'd be a cramps and I
have it on TV, all right, yeah, TV for sure.
I mean, last year I've had the opportunity to travel
to Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, you know,
and this year I want to try to go abroad
and I'm thinking the UK. I'm thinking we take over

(11:47):
you know, bigger independent wrestling promotions. Also, Glory is the
biggest independent promotion in all of New York and I'd
bet to say all the Veguas coast. But now I'm
thinking I'm thinking GCW. I'm okay, DNA, I'm thinking MLW
and uh not too soon after that, I'm thinking w
W A.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
All right, oh fair enough, Hey call your shot. Now
there's this thing going around called the w I D
So every one day.

Speaker 3 (12:15):
There you go.

Speaker 4 (12:16):
I mean, I mean you kind of have to be
blind and stupid not to sign somebody like me.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Am I right? Am I right?

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Yes, you're right, yes, yeah. I feel like how much
you do you enjoy interacting with your fans? Not just
your you know, your fans, but your haters or anyone
in the crowd like and particularly, is there any memorable
situations you've had, because you really, you really are kind

(12:46):
of loud and boisterous.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
And.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
I think I'm just accurate and blunt. Okay, I think
I tell no lies as far as ban interaction. The
Infamous has so many fans, and he doesn't have have
no haters. There are no haters, just fans.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Matter of fact, I'm gonna tell you right now, you're
talking about memorable ones not too not too long ago.
This fan right here sat me boom, what's that? What's that?

Speaker 3 (13:16):
Custom? Forward?

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Oh nice?

Speaker 4 (13:18):
That's your name Dominican flag. If it ain't richestter, it
ain't nothing. You see what I'm saying. Fans take notes.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
I like shoes, I like jewelry, and I like money. Okay, Okay,
that's right.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I have an amazing fan base and it's only gonna
keep growing and growing and growing. You know, And anybody
that is not a fan of the Infamous, then you're
either living under a rock or you don't know what
talent is when you see it. So that's all I
have to say about that. But I think my fan
base is only going to grow and grow and grow
exponentially this year as well.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
For sure, what do you have to say to the
fans in Chicago this Friday night? Do you have anything planned?

Speaker 4 (14:03):
WHOA last time I went to Chicago, the fans there,
they they said who am I?

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Who are you?

Speaker 4 (14:12):
They told me to shut the f up? And by
the end of my match, I made them shut the
f up. So hopefully they remember that. And when I
come out, they gave me a warm welcome, a champions welcome.
I'm gonna hold this up a thousand times, hold this
whole interview, okay, because I want to who is the champ?

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Who's the man running things around here? All right?

Speaker 1 (14:36):
I hope I can hold it up Friday. Oof.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
A lot of people want to touch me and touch
this belt. Man, I don't know I start charging people.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
For sure.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Every know the thing is Bringo Logo was in the match,
to be fair, so they're going to be part of
their hometown.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Guy.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
I mean, I may not be from Chicago, but I'm
the world champ. And okay, I'm a champion everywhere I go,
every city I walk into, I make it. The infamousis
city m there you.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
Go, definitely, And then any advice for professional wrestling trainees
that want to make it in the business.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
Such your standards low, okay, because when they see me
in the ring, they automatically think, oh, this is I
wanna aspire to be, this is who I want to be.

Speaker 3 (15:26):
Oh my god, maybe one they maybe, maybe one.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Day you'll be half as good as me. If that,
and that's if you work hard, go to the gym
one hundred times a day, uh, you know, and do
what you gotta do cosmetically. You know, I was naturally
gifted with these looks, okay, but for some people, they're
not blessed like I am. So for trainings, I just say,
stay humble, stay humble, stay out.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Of my way.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
You know, the Amazing Red is the trainer of House
of Glory, and ever since I let them in the past,
these students, they been looking up to me. And the
best way I know how to lead is by example.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
So if you want to get good, watch me in
the ring, watch me outside of the ring, see how
I operate and take notes.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
For sure, and you know, talk about how how hard
it is just to build a winning streak up in
professional wrestling today.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
Well, if you anything like me, people are gonna try
to screw you left and right. Okay, if I lose,
it's only because that it's only because of conspiracies, you see.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
I you know what, I'm not even gonna say that
even when I lose, I win.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
But it is hard. It's really hard to get your
name out. There's really hard to uh to to get
a winning street going. But you see now, now things
are different. Now I'm the champ. Now I'm the thing
that everybody's after. And I feel like in this position,

(16:52):
I have the advantage. Okay, and I'm in a good
place right now, and I'm not gonna stop for nothing,
and no one.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Would you like to add tag team championship goal to that?

Speaker 3 (17:04):
You're resolutely not. Okay.

Speaker 4 (17:07):
I am not gonna share my spotlight with anybody else.
Been there, done that. I was a champion, and though
I realized that on my spotlight is too bright to
just share with anybody else. Okay, this is the Darren
Richardson Show. That's it, point blank period.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Okay, But Darren, what about challenging another champion in how
is that a possibility?

Speaker 2 (17:29):
One day?

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I'm glad you asked that, and absolutely if you think
I'm stopping here, then you'd be highly mistaken. I'm looking
for that Crown Jewel Championship. I'm looking for the House
of Word World Championship. Okay, Zilifa two, he was born
into the business. Okay, you know he got a you know,
he got kind of an advantage.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
All right.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
I worked for everything I have, you know. And now
that's not to take anything away from him, but let's
just say in some words that if he ever were
to get in the ring with me, I beat that
ask and leave the dust, just like I did.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
The Amazing Red. Same with Mike Santana.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Okay, people say he's had a killer year. He's beat
top top indie wrestlers all over the world, top competition.
He he beat an old Japanese wrestler. I don't even
know his name.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
You think that's impressive to me?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
You think it's impressed me that that you went thirty
minutes with thee hundred year old Japanese man.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
You think that's impressive to me.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
If he was in the rig with me, I bury
him in the dirt.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
All right.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
So that doesn't impress me, and it may impress everybody else.
But it doesn't impress me because my stands is so high,
all right, So when I look at Mike Santana, he's
nothing to me. And if he was ever ever have
the balls to put his chance his belt up against me,
then there's only one way that's gonna end, and that's
me lifting that title up. You see, he's also from
the Bronx, right, I'm from the Bronx. I run the Bronx. Okay,

(18:53):
so there's that too. I'm just gonna leave that there.
That's also there.

Speaker 1 (18:58):
So you're saying you're more you're more occupied in the
Bronx than he is.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Is that what you're saying?

Speaker 4 (19:04):
Absolutely, Let's just say, if you say his name in
the Bronx, it won't ring a bell.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
If you say my name in the Bronx.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
And I don't know people speak my name with caution.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
I'm just say that for sure.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
And then when you when you're done with this match, uh,
Friday night, what's next? Like, do you want to just
climb you know what, climb the next mountain? Do you
have any other shows outside of House of Glory or.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Hmmm, you see, my schedule has just been so busy.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
They're promoters knocking down my door, emailing me, d ending me,
and uh, I don't know. I've just been celebrating with
this baby right here, but I definitely am looking ahead.
I want to be the first ever two two belt
holder in House of Glory.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
All right.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
I want this, and I know I don't want to
feel lonely, so I'm gonna have something else. Maybe the
Crowning Championship, maybe a hog World typeweight Championship. I don't know,
but I think this year, this year, you're gonna see
me in g c W for sure. You're gonna see
me in wrestling open for sure. Uh days now listed,
but just just keep an eye out, okay. And for

(20:17):
overseas fans, you know, nothing set in stone, but you
can you can definitely bet your bet your house that
you're gonna see me over there, to wherever you're from, England, Mexico,
even Japan.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Okay, that's right for sure. And you're gonna you're gonna
defend that bell to Olliver.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
I don't know, man, you see, I work for this,
all right. No, I'm not gonna give you anybody no
free handy. It's okay, that's just not gonna happen. All right,
you need to prove to me that you're worthy of love.
You know, a championship match for sure.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Sure, I can't wait to see. Uh, well, we have
in store for they have in store for you Friday night.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
And lastly, if anybody has a checkout House of Glory,
you know what do you recom Why do you recommend
them coming out to see you or see the show?

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Hello? I mean I'm the new phase of the House Glory.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
If that's not a temptation enough, then I don't know
what is. Houstin Glory has some of the best talent
in all of the world, me being the top one,
and it's just a show that you're never gonna forget.
Like I said before, it is the biggest promotion in
all of New York, all of the East Coast. So
if you want to see professional wrestling done at the

(21:37):
highest level, you're gonna go to host Glory. Yeah, and
see me the best wrestler in New York, in the
East Coast, in the world in this generation.

Speaker 3 (21:47):
Your Hostile Glory sixth Way champ for sure.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
And we've got you know, great matches on Tap two
with Matt Cardona. Of course he's gonna be taking on
Mike's uh Zila Fatu and Mike Santana's to find his
championship against Ricky Stark.

Speaker 2 (22:06):
So any thoughts, I know s matches.

Speaker 4 (22:11):
I have a thought, why do these you know, wrestlers
with names and stuff like that, they come to House
of Glory looking for a challenge and they face Zila
fa too and Mike Santana. I don't understand. I don't
understand why focus on them when I'm here? You know
what I'm saying, I don't care what name these belts have,

(22:34):
the crown jewel that husse glory, World Championship. This right
here is the championship and House to glory. I am
the wrestler and house to glory. So if you want
the toughest competition, if you want all the glory, if
you want your fifteen minutes of fame, you know who
to look for.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
That's all that for sure.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
And and you know, I think there's a there's some
names out there that would love to face you if
they were given that.

Speaker 3 (22:59):
There's a long line, trust me, all right.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
You know we have Casey Navarro. I know you have
a history, a little bit of a history of him.
So that.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Fun sized bottle of pet abismo. Yeah, I know, case
of Navarro, I'll smack the pink off him.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Yeah okay, yeah, okay, yeah, okay, but we'll see. I mean,
he held a championship in Chicago from Warrior Wrestling, so
I would definitely love to see you come out if
that promotion was resurrected, and that would be a great
