Speaker 3 (00:23):
Welcome, Hi, Laura, how are you.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I'm doing good?
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Gil?
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Where are you calling from?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Calling from Los Angeles, California.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
First impression I'm getting Gil.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Is somebody who's right there in the house with you.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
I mean I feel his presence or his spirit right
there with you, and I feel like it's a father figure.
Does that make sense to you?
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Absolutely, he lived in the house you're in. Yes, he
is still there. He still is, and you guys know
he is. Yes, my gosh.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
He says he hated the fussing over him and trying
to help him, and he'd be like cussing and curse
about it because he was in pain.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
Do you know what I'm saying? People trying to move
him around?
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Oh my god? Yes, absolutely, yes, Yes, that makes double sense.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
And you guys trying to pick him up. And how
long are you just like pushing people away?
Speaker 3 (01:12):
He's just like, I got it.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
I got it.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
That's absolutely correct.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Yes, yes, And he complained about getting old like it sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Yes, that is true.
Speaker 6 (01:23):
He did complain about that, and he kept asking what's
going to happen to me? I do remember he looked
up at me as I was caring for him, and
he licked in my eyes and he said, this is
not my life, and that struck a chord. I don't
know what to tell you, Pop, but you know I'm
here to help you over whatever you need.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
He did get fussed over a lot, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
I don't know if he went into like a Koma
state or state where he couldn't comprehend or connect with
other people. Yeah, towards d N And he says that
I was reluctant to come and see him. I don't
know if this was necessarily you or another grandchild or child.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
I have a nephew. He couldn't take the heartache.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
Yes, And he says there's no remorse on his end.
He totally understand. But he's punishing himself over this. And
will you please pass on.
Speaker 1 (02:11):
The message or give him hugs and tell him it's okay.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah, he's chilling a lot of guilt and it's understandable too.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
My nephew had a chance to stay here in the
home with my parents and his mom passed away, so
he witnessed that. It was something that really traumatized them,
and my parents took care of him during that period
of time afterwards, and then he had to go on
with his life and moved out. And then when he
found out that my father had passed, that was just
a little much for him.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
It was pretty happy.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Oh, I can get it.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
He says, there was a baby girl there, or you know,
another girl that he loves and adores. So I don't
know if that's a living daughter or granddaughter, or if
he's talking about his own daughter or both.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Yeah, I have a sister here that's living. And then
we lost a sister, so my dad also lost a daughter.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
Right, So who's the baby? Is it one of the
girls a baby too?
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, that's she passed on.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
So okay, because he referenced her as the baby, that's right.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
She was the youngest one.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Obviously, you're there taking care of your mom. I am, yeah,
so grateful.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yes, it's been a blessing beyond my belief. I never
would have expected this experience.
Speaker 6 (03:17):
I came here to the house temporarily waiting for another
home to move into. And my father got ill while
we were here, and my mom and I both took
turns taking care of him, and then one day we
found him and he had decided that he was going.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
To cross over. What I thought he was asleep, he
was already gone, right.
Speaker 4 (03:33):
I hear that from so many who decide to step
into the role, but then they feel like it's a
complete blessing to them that they had the opportunity to
offer their assistance to their family at that moment in time.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
That's the way of the world. I think we're going
back to what it was like in the old days.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
You know, we're allowing our family to transition right among us.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
But anyway, thank you for sharing your time with me,
mister Gil.

I would love to hear from you some I.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
Was in the center lane and just turned right in
front of us.
Speaker 7 (04:37):
Decided I needed to get a hold of an attorney.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Never really heard anything from this attorney for two years.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
Decided I couldn't use.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
Him no more.
Speaker 4 (04:45):
I contacted Konoski Bresney.
Speaker 6 (04:47):
He did more in two weeks than that other attorney
did in three years.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I could definitely not have done this on.
Speaker 7 (04:53):
My own, and if it wasn't for Todd, sorry he.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Changed my lot.
