Qué asombrosa es la revelación que el mundo, y todos sus habitantes, pueden arreglárselas bien conmigo o sin mí. Qué alivio el saber que la gente, las cosas y los lugares estarán perfectamente bien sin mi control y dirección. Y qué indeciblemente maravilloso llegar a creer que un Poder superior a mí mismo existe aparte e independientemente de mí mismo. Creo que desaparecerá algún día la impresión que experimento de separación entre Dios y yo. Mientras tanto, la fe ha de servir como la senda hacia el centro de mi vida.
