(00:01):
Falling in love with Jeezesus. It'sthe best thing I've ever ever done.
I'm bad with something for you tothink about. Seriously, Guys and girls,
listen, falling in love with Jesusis the best thing hmm I've ever
(00:31):
done. I get so emotional whenI think about it. And the reason
why I get so emotional because youdon't know what He's done for me.
You don't know how how he haskept me from danger so many times.
(00:54):
You don't know how he's changed myLife's thankful. I'm so grateful. I
know that there is so much controversyabout the Bible. I know there is
so much controversy about Jesus as God. All he wants you to do is
(01:14):
serve him. Even if you thinkJesus is God, he just wants you
to serve him. I don't believeJesus is God because the Bible specifically talks
about each and that's not what thisepisode is about. But I know Jesus
(01:37):
is awesome. And the Bible tellsus you cannot get to the Father lest
you go through the Son, andthat alone tell you they're not the same.
They're on one accord as one,but they're not the same. I
grew up in church. I gavemy life to Christ when I was twelve
(01:59):
years old. And I've talked aboutthis before on this podcast. But when
I gave my life to Christ,I went on to live how I wanted
to live. I didn't think aboutJesus watching me, God seeing and knows
everything. I did not think aboutit. I'm not gonna lie to anyone.
(02:21):
I didn't. I know he hadhis hand on me because I did
some foolishness. I did some foolishness. I did nothing that ever would put
me in trouble with the law oranything like that. But I did some
foolishness as a young woman, butnothing really really out there. I've never
(02:46):
been that type of woman. ButI've done some stuff, and through all
of my mass God kept me.God kept me. I mean, I
have gone through some things. I'vegone through some experiences where I'm not gonna
(03:06):
say I should have been dead, because if I should have been dead,
I would have been dead. Idon't like to hear people say, well,
I should I should be dead. No, if you were supposed to
be dead, you would be dead. So I'm not gonna say that.
But I could have lost my lifefor instances, for sure, by gunshot,
(03:29):
electrocution wreck, I mean, severely, injuring myself, messing with a
garbage disposal. I mean so much. The Angels have covered me so many
(03:53):
times, and they covered me evenwhen I was in my mess. So
when I gave my life to Christ, and you know I I I've been
singing. I I don't have thegreatest voice, but I love to sing.
I write my own lyrics. Andlet me tell you, I've been
(04:18):
singing since I was about well,i'll put it like this, in a
gospel group, singing with adults sinceI was eleven, but long before that,
because I had a family group alsoa gospel group, and all I
know is gospel. I dedicated mylife when I was seventeen and I made
(04:39):
a promise to the Lord that Iwould never sing anything but gospel. And
I've had opportunities, but I've neverchosen anything but gospel all my life.
And let me tell you when Iwas in my thirties, my late thirties
(04:59):
at that is when I really startedacknowledging the Lord and taking notice. I
mean I always was kind of youknow that individual. As I got older,
recognizing Jesus and God. But youknow, and I've been in church
(05:27):
my entire life. Never not atime that I was not going to church.
So I've been in church my wholeentire life. But I was a
hypocrite, straight up. I wasa hypocrite. Period. I was a
hypocrite, farticating, you know, doing things that I shouldn't have been doing,
(05:51):
straight up hypocrite in church, singingthe gospel, hypocrite. I put
together a whole vocational Bible school, put the whole program together. Hypocrite,
directed choir, hypocrite. I sungeven over in Europe. Hypocrite. Oh
(06:17):
yeah, you know the Bible say, you profess me from your lips,
but your heart is far from me. Honestly, I don't even know if
I was professing him with my lips. I was just singing and doing things,
you know, director choirs and stufflike that. I don't know if
I ever was like I'm a childof God. I don't remember that.
(06:41):
But I do know I was beinga hypocrite. I understand that now.
I didn't then because I wasn't thinkingon that level. Oh let me tell
you. I used to go tochurch and I had a little mini skirt
on you know, a upper ballmy knees. Never wore a real high
mini skirt, but it was aminiskirttheless up above my knee. You know
(07:01):
where you have to sit and coveryourself if you got to cover yourself.
It's too short. Hello, it'stoo short if you have to cover your
legs. So I'm sitting up there, got my legs covered because when I
sit down to the skirt move upa little higher. Hypocrite. But let
me tell you, once I trulystarted seeking after the Lord, and my
(07:28):
heart was convicted, and my lifechanged. My thoughts changed, my dress
changed, my mind, words changed, every part of me changed. I
never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever went back to it
when I came out of the world. I never wanted to go back.
I didn't miss partying, I didn'tmiss drinking. I didn't miss none of
(07:50):
it. I never didn't recreational drugsof no sort ever ever, ever,
never wanted to, never had anydesire. But I did used to drink
a little bit, never anything crazy, but still nevertheless, but once I
gave it all up, never younever wanted to go back to it.
(08:11):
Nothing I s Maybe people think somethingis wrong with me. But that's fine.
But when I tell you I don'tcare about the things of the world,
oh my goodness, I don't.I don't. Sometime I just give
things away because if I'm not usingthem, what to use of you know,
it makes no sense, So Ijust give stuff away. People can't
(08:35):
believe it. I just need enoughto go day to day. I don't
need a lot of things. I'mnot into that. I'm not into the
world. I don't care what theworld says. I don't care if the
world says you got to have this, you have to have that. You
have to look this way. Youhave to look at you know, who
(08:58):
make up the world, broken people, some of you. You're doing all
kinds of things, listening to brokenpeople, society, broken people. That's
why you got to get your eyeson the Lord and off of the world.
(09:18):
The world just distracting. I mean, if you don't pull yourself away,
you'll find yourself almost crazy, nervous, full of paranoia because every turn
radio, TV, iPad, telephone, whatever, you listening to horrible,
(09:43):
horrible things every single day. AndI know I have to disconnect sometimes because
I'll give enough of that. Onmy job, I give enough of dealing
with mess on my job, listeningto people on both sides for management officials,
(10:13):
and I've had to deal with ashigh as the general management officials and
employees. So I listen to itevery single day. I have not become
numb to it. But ah,my goodness, it could be annoying because
it's so much foolishness. So Ichoose when I leave work, I don't
(10:39):
even think about it, not fora second. For what. I don't
think about it, and I meanI don't think about it. I totally
disconnect. I totally disconnec because everythingaround you is so distracting and I'm not
(11:07):
falling for that. I'm not fallingfor the okay, do You're not gonna
pull on me over on that side. That's why I don't care what people
say. If you want to dothis or that, do you boo boo,
but not me. I live mylife as if God is watching,
because he is. I live mylife to be pleasing to the eye side
(11:33):
of God, not man. Please. Man has no heaven or hell to
put me. But if I listento them, I can end up in
hell and know I don't choose thatHeaven is my goal. That's my focus.
So my eyes is not on theworld. You know, they're not
(11:54):
on the world, They're on heaven. Heaven is in my view. A
good friend of mine who passed away, he was a national gospel singer,
wrote some heaven in view, that'smy goal. So when I gave my
(12:20):
life to Christ, I've never beenthe same. So when you hear people
say straddle the fence, you know, Teter Tarring, listen, there should
be no struggle. There should beno struggle. I don't. I don't
see personally why people struggle because Idon't see no reason to struggle, either
(12:48):
for him or you are against him. If you want the world, that's
your choice. People get angry withGod. Oh well, if God is
real, why did he allowed this? Why did he allowed that? Because
it's what you wanted. A lotof you want things and then you give
(13:09):
them and now you have a problem. And don't get me wrong, I'm
not saying you want things to happenlike lose your child, or your child
do something heendeous, or you losesome loved one, or something terrible happened
to your loved one. I'm nottalking about those things, but those things
(13:31):
do happen because of other things thatled up to them. Most times,
most times a lot of people haverecks because they're speeding and lose control,
or they're being distracted while driving something. I'm just trying to make you understand.
(14:00):
People want to blame God, andyou're blaming the wrong person. And
I will always tell you. ReadGenesis. It'll tell you. Anybody out
there, you all over the world, read Genesis, the Book of Genesis,
and it will tell you exactly whywe living in evil, wicked,
(14:22):
awful, dark, satanic, themoney mean, cruel world because that's the
way people have made it because ofwho people are. God didn't intend this
(14:43):
for us. Read Genesis. It'lltell you why. It's just like with
Eve and the serpent and crazy Adamfollowed up behind em, same things happening
to this day. Men are ledjust as easily to this day. Haven't
(15:05):
learned nothing. That's why we haveto deal with the things that we deal
with in this world. It's notGod, that's not what he intended for
us. We chose that you maynot have chosen, but those before you
chose it for you. And weall, none of us are except we
(15:28):
all have to suffer because of that, is it fair. I'm not here
to say I wish it wasn't thatway, but it is what it is.
So I don't dwell on it.I just hey, I understand when
I hear horrible things that happen,I know it's wickedness at work, because
(15:52):
the Bible tells us for we wrestleout against flesh and blood, so we're
dealing with supernatural. Ever, we'redealing with natural. You have supernatural demons
and you have natural demons. That'sjust the way it is. That's the
(16:15):
way it is. People open themselvesup to demonic entities every second of the
day, and a lot of peopledon't even know what they're doing, have
no clue what they're doing, andthen they can't handle what they've opened themselves
up to a need. They're overcomeby it, things that they never should
(16:41):
got into in the first place. So my focus. The devil has nothing.
He has everyone food. He hasnothing to offer you, nothing,
nothing, do you hear me nothing. He can't even put you in hell.
He don't have no power to dothat. He the devil, cannot
(17:03):
even put you in hell because he'salready hell bound. That is his destination.
He knows it. He don't evenhave the power to put you in
hell, but he make millions uponmillions upon millions people believe that he have
(17:25):
power. If he had power,do you think he would be held bound?
No, But he don't have achoice because that's his destination Hell.
But the thing is, he wantto trick you into believing he has this
kingdom. He don't. God hascontrol over hell too. But the devil
(17:53):
have you food. He make youthink the things that you see with your
eyes, the things you can touch, the tangible things. He make you
think they are everything you need. It's a trick. He know you can't
take anything with you. He knowit. He's just tricking you. Make
(18:17):
it look good, make it feelgood, make it taste good, knowing
all alonge it's bad for you.But that's how he trick and manipulate.
But the Bible said resist the devilin here what flee? But instead of
running away, you're running to himfor fame, fortune, notoriety, validation,
(18:47):
recognition, money, titles, status, position, power, love a
man. It's crazy. When youdie, your soul dies, your spirit
(19:07):
man rises up out of you,and that is what's gonna live forever.
That spirit man, that spirit womansomewhere else now here on earth. But
what you chose here on earth, you're going to according to how you lived
(19:29):
here on earth. When you leaveyour natural body, you're gonna go to
one or the other side of thegulf until RESI you know, Judgment day.
One side is good on the otherside, and uh, nobody should
wanna go but the shore where you'regoing. And guess what. The devil
(19:52):
can't put you in either or theBible say to be absent from the body
is to be present with the Lord. So you go into that spiritual realm.
And when you enter in that spiritualrealm, you are going to whatever
(20:15):
side according to what you chose whileyou were living here on earth. That's
why I can't be distracted. Idon't care who come, I don't care
who goes. I cannot be distracted. Your life was given to you,
mine was given to me. Andwe're all here to serve the Lord and
(20:38):
to do good unto one another,to love one another. But people got
it all wrong. They think it'sabout things and possessions and all of that.
If you drop dead in the nextsecond, if I drop dead in
the next second, for me,it's all right, it's our right.
(21:00):
But for many of you, mm m m mm hmm. Nothing you
fought hard, nothing, you youfought hard for nothing. You stepped on
next backs and in and everything else. Nothing you could knived and lied and
stilled and everything to get can youtake with you nothing. That's why I
(21:32):
choose Jesus, because He's been sogood to me. When I had no
one, I mean not one singleperson, I could look to the hills
when I had no support. Icould look to the hills when the devil
(21:55):
tried to take my mind. AndI've been in that situation. When I
came in contact with a supernatural being, I could look to the hills.
In every situation I knew I wasnot by myself. I knew I could
(22:18):
look to the hills once comes myhelp. I knew it. I knew
it. And and people don't understand. People don't understand that I've gone through
tragedy after tragedy after tragedy, andI'm going through one right now that will
be with me for the rest ofmy life. And yes, some days
(22:41):
I cry because it's so it's sounbelievable, and it's so it's just so
crazy and I cry some days, but trust and believe me, and I
tell you I'm all right, andI know where my help comes from.
(23:03):
I'm alright. I know things aregonna happen in this world. I didn't
think that was gonna happen in mylife. I didn't never think I'm going
I would go through what I'm goingthrough because of someone, but I am.
(23:27):
But you know what, I nevergot angry at God. You know
I did say. I've lived mylife for years and years and years doing
the right thing, no doubt,no straddling the fence, because there's no
(23:52):
fence to straddling, no doubt ofwhether I wanted to be on the Lord
side. I've been pleased in yoursight. I don't understand why I have
to go through this, but youknow, the Holy Spirit said, why
not you? I know you canhandle it. I knew you could,
(24:15):
and it settled me in my spiritbecause I know I can handle it too,
because I already pray the prayer longbefore I've encountered what I'm going through.
Whatever happens, Lord, no matterhow horrible it may appear, let
me be able to stand. AndHe has been keeping me, and I'm
(24:38):
telling you this is horrific. Butoutside of that, my family have been
stricken with death about twenty nine twentyeight, twenty nine death since twenty eighteen,
(25:00):
six years. I thought it wasseven, but it's six years.
Twenty eight, twenty nine deaths inmy family, cousins, uncle's, auntie's,
mom, dad, grandchild. Twentyeight twenty nine deaths and six years.
(25:22):
Not too many families can say that. There may be a few could
say more, but that's terrible, and guess what, people still are not
changing. That's why my focus ison heaven. I don't care what nobody
(25:44):
think, believe me or not.I lived my life as if God watching
all of the time, indoors andoutdoors, because cause there's a heaven and
(26:06):
that's where I'm going. That's mychoice. I don't know what you choose,
but for me, because for me, I don't want nothing else.
I don't need anyone to validate me, anyone to make me feel good,
(26:30):
anyone to pump me up, motivate. No. I do all that for
myself. I'm not trying to outdoanyone. I'm just being mean. I'm
just being me. I don't allowpeople to take me for granted. I
(26:51):
don't allow people to misuse my love, my friendship because I'm good to people,
but don't try to take advantage. Then I have to cut you loose.
Oh I can't cut you loose.I still love you, but I
won't deal with you like that becauseyou don't mean me any good. So
(27:11):
you have to have discernment, andthat's something you have to pray for it.
That's one of the gifts you haveto pray for that. You have
to pray for it. Some peoplebe thinking, oh, my intuition,
that's different from discernment. It's different. So I just I'm just telling you
(27:41):
about me. You know, wehave fruit, southern spirits, we have
gifts, other spirits and discernment. You know, you just pray for it
(28:06):
and know that it is different frombeing intuitive. People turn to everything,
They turn to everything, They turnto everyone for the answers, but they
don't turn to Jesus when he haveall the answers. Some things we're never
(28:26):
gonna know. I don't care howbrilliant you are. If you're a scientist
and you're just super brilliant, itdon't matter. You're never gonna know the
mysteries they will never be uncovered. You'll know when you step out of life's
back door into that spiritual realm. So I don't even worry about it.
(28:48):
So what things exist that we don'tknow about, I'm not racking my brain
about it. Some things will causeyou to want us seek after it,
but it's just a distraction. AndI'm with that way for a little bit.
But I had to I had adocent reality while doing that. I'll
(29:12):
just leave it like that. Sothere's so much in the world that's going
on that's distracting. But for me, my focus is Christ. The world,
the things of the world is.It don't mean to me what it
means to most people. It justdon't. I'm a simple person. People
(29:33):
see me and they think I'm bougie. They think I'm uppity. I'm so
far from that. But guess what, I don't care what people think.
You have the wrong perception. That'snot my problem. You know, I
don't deal with a lot of peoplebecause one thing that I do know is
(29:56):
people, because I've studied people formany, many, many years, and
it's not a lot of difference whenit comes to minds and hearts. So
when you fall in love with Jesus, your life will never be the same.
(30:18):
If you're doing the same things, something is wrong. There is no
way you can live for Jesus. You can live for God and do the
same things, talk with the samefilthy mouth. There is no way.
You're not gonna dress in provocative andrevealing ways in public. Now. If
you marry and you want to dothat for your boom, that's fine,
(30:45):
but you're not gonna do it forthe world to see. You can dress
very sexy with all your clothes on, very sexy. You know things have
to change. You can't dress thesame, you don't think the same,
(31:10):
you don't speak the same. Allof that changes. When you really,
really, really really have fallen inlove and you're really serving Christ. You're
a new creature. And anybody who'sdoing the same things you need to go
back because you have not become thatnew creature. You have not become that
(31:36):
new creature. That's just fact, because you will never be the same when
you really come in contact with Jesus, when you really make that change,
you will never be the same. And I'm telling you it is so good.
It's the best thing ever. Youdon't worry when people are not there.
(31:57):
You're still good. When they don'tsupport you, you still good.
When they don't love you, You'restill good. I mean, you don't
worry about stuff like that. Itdon't matter. When you falling in love
with Jesus, it will give youa peace that you don't even understand.
And I'm telling you a peace thatsurpasses all understanding. You will not even
(32:22):
understand it, but you know whyyou have it. So trust me when
I tell you. There is adifference between the saints and the ants.
The ants are not saints, andthat may sound funny, but it's the
(32:45):
truth. There is a difference. And God said he was gonna separate the
weed from the tear. You canfake it, pretend with the world.
You can profess him with your mouth, but your hearts are far from him.
But He's gonna do the separating. So I choose Jesus. You choose
whoever you want. But for me, falling in love with him was the
(33:07):
best thing I could ever done.If it wasn't for him, I don't
know where I'd be right now, what I'll be doing, how I'll be
thinking. I just thank God,hallelujah. I thank God for saving little
wretched soul like mine, and Imean that from the depths of my heart
(33:30):
and soul. And I hope thatsome of you listen, that you choose
Jesus, because that's the only wayto the Father is through the Son.
And if heaven is you're gone, there has to be changed. You have
to fall in love with them, and if you really love him, you'll
(33:52):
keep his commandments. A lot ofyou are asking, oh, I want
to God leave her a godly wife, when you're not even godly. Come
on now, you're asking for thingsa game that you don't possess within yourself.
(34:13):
You're asking for a godly man orwoman when you're not even godly.
Come on, stop it, stopit. Don't look for someone to save
you, because they can't save youany ways. Only Jesus saves And as
far as naturally, you can't saveyourself, because if you could, you
(34:36):
would do better, You would bethe best you that you could be.
But most of you are looking forsomebody else to make you happy when they're
not even happy. How an unhappyperson gonna make you happy? How can
somebody love you the way you deserveto be loved when you can't even love
(34:59):
yourself? You will recognize it.You will not recognize love. That's why
so many people are in relationships unhappy. You may stay in them, but
you're unhappy. And that's why Isay falling in love with Jesus is the
best thing you could ever do foryourself. You will see people differently,
(35:23):
you will see yourself differently. Youreyes will open up to things that you
failed to see before. And I'mnot gonna keep talking about it. I'm
leaving it right there. It's upto you. Like any other episode,
I'm just giving you the information.Thank you so much for listening. Much
