Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, welcome to Relics Radio. I'm DK with Adventures in Dirt.
I know we're late.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We're late.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Somebody can't tell time. I just got off a flight
coming in from Cody, Wyoming, flying in by the seat
of my pants, and we're here for your amusement. Tonight
is gonna be a great show. I want to bring
in my co host right now. You know him as
mister look at that Willock, Look at that way, mister

(00:29):
fifty to eighty Adventures.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (00:31):
How are you man?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Good? Happy to be here? Yeah, I'm excited for tonight's show. Actually,
we got a lot of stuff to go over. But yep,
you know what, hey give me, give us. We were
like three minutes late, folks, okay, three minutes. This isn't syndication.
We don't have you know, comer ABC's, we don't have sponsors.

(00:53):
How are you man doing all right? Your hairs? You
got the hair out? You know it was on fire
as you were coming in there.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
Yeah, it's almost I don't have much more to burn.
But but yeah, dun foal, I just flew in from
Cody and Boyer, my arm's tired, but uh no, it
was beautiful there and uh, just come in late and
have to make your way all the way. You know what,
we take these small planes of Cody, Wyoming. I don't

(01:21):
know if anybody has ever been to Denver International Airport,
but it's one of the more larger international airports. It
is so huge, and of course they put us at
the very end because we're in the small planes. Yeah,
the very end of the terminal. So you got about
a two mile walk back to the escalators that you
take down, then get on a train and take it
another twenty minutes to get over to you know a

(01:44):
place where then you have to walk down for the
baggage claim. And it was just man, just took forever
me to get to my car. And you know what
happened when I got to my car, My little remote, yeah,
wasn't working. That's what I thought, like, Oh man, what
am I going to do now? I don't carry around
in the spare battery. How do you use a key

(02:05):
in a car nowadays? That's crazy? My keyfob and I
don't think the more modern ones do. Mine's in twenty
twenty one has a little button you push and it
pulls out a little cheater key.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah, yeah, so I use that to open up my
driver door and then what do you think happened? So
now I'm pushing my remote and I'm like, what the
hell do I do? Now?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
You got to insert it and turn it on. No,
there's no, it doesn't work for the initition and only
works for the door. Y's So I got in and
I pushed the button.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
And by then it connected, I guess to my keybob,
and people didn't think I was stealing the car. You
know what? You know what? All? That's called first world problems?
Where where? Oh man?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, so we got a lot to talk about. We're
going to talk about what tonight's all about. We want
to talk about what tonight's not all about, and uh
we definitely want to. Uh we thought we might need
some help for this, didn't we?

Speaker 2 (03:05):
We did? We did so we Uh well, first off,
we're talking about two different new metal detectors from two
different companies, and one of them is from mind Lab.
And I know that our buddy Michael actually has some experience.
We have an older model, so we thought we'd bring

(03:27):
him in so he can chat with us. And uh
so let's let's bring on Michael. So he's not sitting
out down that great room. He's picking his nose right now.
But maybe he'll stop here in a second. Let's bring
him on. Oh my gosh, dude, we're live.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Dude, we're live.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Some warning next time.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
God, Oh geez, we've caught you doing. Come on metaltecting
No co Michael. Everybody's seen you before on my channel,
Can's channel, Relics Radio. Gosh, you've been on. Are you
smarter than Aurella Hunter? You've joined us quite a bit.
You're kind of our you know, our you know, make
up our trio of hunting partners here in Colorado.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
So we make a good treat. Yeah, we've had some
good hunts today too, we just haven't uploaded them.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah we have. That's just he's kicked my butt plenty plenty,
and it's caught on film. You know what, though, Michael
is actually the savor of our lives too. He's our
great protector when it comes to true story, Raging Bull's
true story.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
We literally literally got chased down by a bowl. What
was that a month ago?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
I think it was longer than that.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
He was having Yeah, that bull was not backing down,
and I don't think that you know, the grave digger.
The It didn't matter what you got in your hand
that it wasn't gonna do anything to that bowl.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
No, no, my little flashlights didn't phase it.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Shovel for breakfast and we would have been cakes. But yeah,
it was pretty scary. We choosed off I think a
cow at first, and then the bull came over. He
was looking at us like, and I said, oh crap,
I remembered something. I always keep bear spray with me.
This is Colorado. Yeah, you gotta have bear spray, Yes,

(05:20):
you do, depending on what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
It worked, it did.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
It was the man.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
You didn't hose him down. You just kind of spritzed
them a little bit.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah, it was like the most delicate it was. It
was watching it because he he actually maneuvered himself to
where he was up wind of the bull because it
was off angle. I watched him do it.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
The first one missed. The first cloud just kind of by,
and he's.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Like, yeah, and you moved yourself so that the swath
of orange cloud would make its way towards him, and
it didn't. As soon as he sniffed out, he shook
his head and he turned around out the out of there.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Yeah, that was my heart was pounded. I don't know
about Tony, but you just don't know. There were no trees.
We were in the middle of nowhere. We couldn't. I've
been chased down by bulls before you climb a tree.
We were out in the middle of nowhere and this
was just grass, folks, nowhere to hide. You've got better
chances just playing dead.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
I'm not used to the whole like tree thing. Usually,
usually when I'm getting chased down by a bull, I
was relying on the clowns to jump in and save
me right during my rodeo time, right, ye, serious, folks,
he is. He was looking around like, where's my where's
my where's my rodeo clowns stories, where's that? Where's that

(06:40):
idiot clown that jumps in front of these things?

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Man?

Speaker 2 (06:46):
We were glad to have you quick and uh and
see who we got joining us real quick here first
in tonight at wow two thirty pm, like that was
that's early Robert Waite a while ago, Robert Robert Thompson
see him how everyone's having a great day out digging
something good. Mister Bill Hayes at five ten so a

(07:06):
little bit more reasonable, says Hey, Robert, we got Teresa
the Treasure Hunter waving at us. Hey Teresa, Yeah, real quick.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Before you move on. Yeah, I was looking at somebody's
post on Facebook and somebody commented below it. It was
like one of those id me things, and I it
sucks because I don't have all the information. I'm just
going off a very vague old man's memory here, but
I could have swore the guy that commented said old

(07:38):
Red Legs no way member or something like that, and
then he it was like qualifying himself and then he
went on to give what he thought it was.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
You're you're you're correlating that to mister Bill Hayes or mister.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
Bill Hayes and the Old Red Legs. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I was like, whoa.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I got to copy that and show it to Bill
and see. I'm sure he knows who he is. But
Bill put out in a chat if you know who
I'm talking about that is active on social media that
used to be part of your your old group of people.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Hmm.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
Interesting and from them. For people that never caught our show,
you should go back and watch our podcast. We had
Bill Hayes. Uh. Yeah, some really great history there of
the metal detecting hobby and and community.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
So definitely go check that out. Absolutely, mister oldigger getting
us all of our dirty money lovers. Love that, absolutely,
love that.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Bob Rose, I realized I can join the chat. I've
been doing trivia for so long. I've been blind to
what everyone.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
Yeah, you're not allowed to use the chat when you're.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
On trivia, and I can actually.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
See the.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Bob Rose says, good evening, Bob. Hey, there's Larry, mister
five mile rolic Hunter. Larry, Larry. Right, Yeah, we've got
somebody from Canada. Look at this Andrew t and from
Andrew's Adventures up from Canada. Tonight is not mister van Winkle.
That was last week.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Oh yeah, Andrew, you missed it. That was last week.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Great show, It was really great, mister van Winkle from
the Quarterhorder crew.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Yeah, if you guys missed that one, go back next
last week and check it out. You can find it here.
Wherever you're watching our show, you can find it down below.
In the other shows we did. You can catch it
on our audio version. Anywhere you find podcasts. Just search
for Relics Radio and you'll be able to pull that
up and at least listen to it on audio podcasts.
But I'm both Tony's Channel fifty two eighty adventures in
my channel adventures, and you should be able to go

(09:37):
right back one video prior and see our interview with
mister Rich van Winkle.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yep. Got a lot of positive comments about that, how
it was more like learning learning about him, learning you
know him history finds Like it was very like, you know,
not in a weird way, but a very intimate conversation
to kind of kind of find out who who Rich is?
You know? I mean, yeah, it took us a while.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I think it took a while for us to get
to that, you know what I mean, because we were
talking about, you know, his interaction with Cord Order crew,
how how he you know, became involved with him and
all that stuff, and uh, and then we eventually got
around to kind of what he found, what he hasn't found,
what he likes, you know, some of his own my
gosh moments.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yeah, right, great guy, great interview. You guys got to
go back and watch that again. How about Rocky Mountain
Life prospecting hit the Mountains? Yes, uh, Metal tecting at
a ghost town? Oh, very cool? Good up there We
know that much. Huh sure, yeah, getting.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Through all the iron.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Oh gosh, so much iron up there? Hi, everyone, come
on about Felix Perez. Hello Felix Iowa. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
Oh, cool to.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Have you on. That's cool. The first time I think
we've seen Felix here brush proper detecting. Hey, guys, I
was watching one of his videos earlier, early yesterday. Earlier
is in yesterday. Cool der Claude, Patty, good to see you, Patty, m.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Hm, that's up Patty, Ohio, fred Elle, Friedel, Fred Fred Church,
fred L Ohio, Fred l. Hello, Ohio. How do you
do it?

Speaker 2 (11:26):
North Shore Relic? Let's see. Oh, here we go, here's
another somebody somebody else from Ohio.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Oh. We gotta do it every time, don't we. There's
nothing in Ohio though, Why are they modeled detecting in Ohio?

Speaker 2 (11:40):
There's nothing left.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
There's nothing left in Ohio. You guys need to get
out of there.

Speaker 2 (11:45):
It's up carry uh. Cheers from Jason up in South Dakota.
Hello Jason, good to see you in the chat. And
I think we're uh crowd.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Out here, so yeah, east side of ho Diggers, good
to see you. Perfect all right, So what are we
talking about tonight.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah, tell us what we're going to, what we're doing
and not doing tonight. I think that's probably the best
route to start with.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Yeah. So we're three metal detectorists. We love metal detecting,
just like all you listening and watching love metal detecting.
And recently in our community there was some announcements of
some release of some brand new metal detectors. We've seen
that a lot over the past few years, releases of
new metal detectors. Most of the major manufacturers have had
some kind of release of some kind of new metal detector.

(12:33):
And tonight what we thought we'd do is get three
of us together, just three buddies, we're all hunting buddies
together and talk about it. So, what you're going to
hear tonight is a podcast of three guys learning about discovering,
talking about questioning, just kind of putting it out there.
What you know, what you're going to join us as
we kind of dig into this. What you're not going

(12:54):
to hear is you're not going to be giving you
factual details of what we know as experts. For that,
we're going to have the manufacturers on. So, you know, Debbie,
Mark Dalk, you guys want to come on talk about
your new releases, You're more than welcome. I'm going to
reach it out to you. I definitely want that to happen,
and I definitely want all you listening and watching to
see that happen and have that opportunity to interact with

(13:16):
them straight from the manufacturer's mouth. That is not what
tonight is about. We're going to be showing you how
we're learning right along with you, and we'll just be
chatting about what we think about this and about this
feature and that feature prices. We'll be looking at all
that stuff as we can find it as what is
available online. Like Tony and I we both watched some

(13:36):
of the release videos. I think we're going to show
you some of those. We're going to take a look
at it. But anytime, especially these two manufacturers come out
with new detectors, yeah, it's always pretty exciting, right, but
they always have to ask you, you know, ask the
questions that we'll probably be asking each other tonight.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Good. So we'll we'll be a community a conversation.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Yeah. Will we get into the machines, yeah, we will
do We know everything about them. No, are you gonna
ask me you know what frequency cut off in the audio?
You know, uh, what audio frequencies or what audio settings
we can do. I don't know any of that stuff.
So yeah, but we've been looking into it and kind
of calling each other anyways, and we thought, I make

(14:22):
a good podcast. Just let's get together and chat about
it tonight. So in saying that, we need to rely
on you and the chat to ask your questions or
to post a question as a topic of discussion, you
know what I mean, instead of looking for answers, because
I'd rather the manufacturers give you answers then then then
but if you have a topic for discussion, we can

(14:45):
chat about it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
And we all everybody here listening, everybody here you know,
on the podcast listening after, We're all gonna have the
same questions, you know. We're all into inquisitive about what
this is going to have, what is what is upgraded
from the last model, kind of different things. And I
think that's what we're going to kind of look at
and and and you know this is there's no insider information.
We have not you know, been testers on any of

(15:08):
these detectors. Though we would love to be, we have
not give we just have not. So this is all
public information. Everything that that's out there, we've hunt and
scoured and collected, and we're going to kind of put
it all together and just discuss it. And before we
get into it, and before I forget, I did recently

(15:31):
move and I think Larry had mentioned about my green
screen back here. It looks really nice. This is the
starting of the new setup and it's going to evolve.
But anyways, I found a whole bunch of stickers. So
what I want I wanted to do tonight is is, uh,
you know, anybody that's here, You guys didn't know this
about this beforehand, but if you're here live with us

(15:54):
right now, we're gonna do a couple of little give
sticker pack you know, price pack giveaways throughout the show,
so you know, stick around, Uh, you know, grab a
grab a beer, some popcorn, hang out with us. You
might win some stickers and who knows, you might learn something.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
So there we go. I want sticker? How can I
get a sticker?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
You can hang out in the live chat and be
ready when we do the giveaway.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Yeah. It always suffers from seizures and my my background
is going to trigger them. Look away look away. Just
listen in.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Dirt sticker. That's what I need.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
I've got, especially if you're trying, you've got We've got
some you need. You need this one.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
Yeah, wait a minute, dude, we hunt.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
What about this?

Speaker 1 (16:46):
That's a classic right there? Yeah, this is that's a
collector sticker right there. I'm looking you know I did that. Yeah, yeah,
you know I did that. So it's you know, I
had this whole thing behind it. No one else probably
even knew that. But I wandered it purposefully like that
where half of me is like looking at because I
was all I'm always watching, right The Weekly Dirt Show

(17:09):
was about me always watching all videos all the time
and then reporting to you the best one. So I
wanted to put half my face in there. Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 2 (17:18):
It was just like that'd be a good idea, And
everyone's like, dude, how come you cut off half your face?
I thought you had series two stickers was the other side?
Is what I thought? That's what the other one's adventures
and dirt ones and you put them together and you
had a full sticker. Oh that would be so cool man,
Thanks for the idea. Yeah, coming next month? All right,

(17:44):
where are we gonna kick off at here.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
I don't know one of the things I want us
to talk about tonight, and uh, you know, I'm sure
it's going to piss all the manufacturers off. But is
the question of why, you know, why there's so many
offerings these days? There's let me run it down for
you got the three forty, four to forty, the five forty,
the three sixty, the four to sixty, the five sixty,
the x Tira Pro, the Xterior Elite, the Equinox seven hundred,

(18:09):
Equinox nine hundred, the Manicore, the Simplex Light, Simplic BT Simplex,
Ultra Score, Double Score, Triple Score, Legend, Legend two, the Max,
the Apex, the Vortex five, the Vortex seven, the Vortex nine,
and then a new coil come out by XBU Metal Detectors.
So that's a lot of choices. And then you have
all the cheap stuff on Amazon. And then there's also

(18:30):
plotted plenty that I'm not even remembering right now. I
just wrote a few down. That's all I could remember
at the time, right But I'm sure there's plenty of others,
you know, other manufacturers. It's just a lot, man, there's
a lot and so somebody's just getting into the hobby,
It's like, man, how do you how do you direct them?
How do you you know?

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Which direction do you point somebody?

Speaker 1 (18:55):
It can't It's got to be beyond a price point, right,
because I don't think there's a big difference between two
hundred and three hundred a price point. Now, I'm sure
the manufacturers want to have take umbrage with that and say, oh, well,
in our machines there are right, Oh, the difference between
two hundred and three hundred is tremendous. Well could be,
but as a beginner, they're never going to know that,
and as somebody that's coming. So right, when you get

(19:16):
a beginner that comes in, they you have one of
I see it as one of three people. Hey I
want to get into metal teching. What's the cheapest metal
detector I can buy? Hey, I want to get into
metal detecting, and I don't want the cheapest one I
can buy. I want a really good, serious metal detector.
Or Hey, I'm just getting in the hobby and I'm
one of these guys, I want to buy the top
the best. I just I don't want to have to
worry about I don't have the best, and those are

(19:37):
the kind of three main people you have that come in,
So where do you appoint them when you have like
how many do you count in your hands? And toes?

Speaker 2 (19:44):
Michael, it was a lot.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I lost, Yeah, I lost count you run out toes.
But there's a lot, right guys, I mean, shoot.

Speaker 3 (19:54):
Yeah, it was overwhelming. I mean, and this has just
been in the past what year, two years? Yeah? When
I started to years ago, these machines you just mentioned,
some of them didn't exist, and so I had to
do a lot of research. I was a beginner. I said, God,
where do you start? And I made it. I think
you have to go in there and just fail sometimes,
and especially with metal detecting. I mean, if you can

(20:16):
learn it from the mistakes of others, that's great too.
And I made a fantastic mistake. It was the cheapy
Amazon you know, special and it lasted six weeks before
it broke. Lesson learned, right, So there's my two cents
on that. Does that mean all Amazon detectors are crap?
Absolutely not. But I learned a tough lesson and in fact,

(20:38):
you know, just so folks know my angle, like where
I'm coming from, I did a TikTok video and I'm
surprised how well it's doing. But the whole point of
it was like, you know, if you're a beginner, like
you don't have to break the bank, but you know,
just get an affordable but reputable machine. And I've gotten
some great feedback on that.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yeah, I think a lot of the manufacturers are really
trying to touch that market, you know what I mean.
There they'll sell them on Amazon, they'll be lesser expensive,
but their quality products. I think they all would rather
sort of the you know, the cheaper Amazon products go away.
I know a lot of manufacturers kind of private market
and private label detectors and such on Amazon, but you

(21:21):
have the real, real cheap ones that, like you said,
we'll just break and it put gives a bad taste,
you know, in people's mouths. You want them to have
a good experience, so they truly can make their mind
up based on if they're having fun or not.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Not. Oh that my machine broke. This is a bunch
of crap, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
You know, I broke my first vanquish. This is the
three but that was my fault. Do not put these
on the hood of your car.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
They go gravity.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
They're not in there was worth replace there.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
I love it enough to go out and buy another
three for I mean for the price point two hundred bucks.
It paid for itself a week. And we'll get it
that a little bit later.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Yeah, and people might not know, you know, haven't seen
these announcements before. I think most people have if they're
really in tune. But why don't we go and show
a couple of the releases recently.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Yeah, you do that. I think we're gonna yeah, we're
gonna start I think on the Vanquished side. So if
you all don't know, you know the the Vanquished series,
the Vanquished forty series was the first series by the Vanquish,
and that was the three forty, the four to forty,
and the five forty, all all within that that Vanquish
And unbeknownst to me, out of the blue, all of

(22:36):
a sudden, I see this video. It says, oh, we
have a new sixty series, and they're gonna have the
three sixty, the four sixty, and the five sixty. So
you know, now we're talking just in the in the
Vanquish model. We've got six different detectors now to talk
about and compare and contrast and figure out all that
kind of stuff. So this is gonna be the the

(22:58):
mind Lab video of their announcement or release of the
sixty series.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Right yeah, yep, you can watch it now, we can
chat about it afterwards. Only a couple of minutes long.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
Here we go, okay, introducing the new Vanquished sixty series
and simply yet powerful, smarter detecting with thirty discrimination segments,

(23:30):
one hundred and nineteen target ideas and adjustable iron bias controller.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
Ready for any condition with clear audio, vibration feedback and
low light visibility at its core, his mind Labs proven
multi it technology, simultaneous multi frequency power, all soils, all targets,
all the time, automatically adapts to ground conditions and cancels interference.

(24:07):
Tested by force, proven by design. I impact take longer
with a lightweight, rechargeable lithium ion battery. More precision, more accuracy,
more performance, enhanced target tones. You can betake being sharp

(24:30):
and focused engineer for comfort with an ultra light swing
built to perform on land and underwater. Vanquish the next

(24:53):
generation of discovery.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Wow, they sure put a lot into those promos, don't they.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
They do, they do and who wouldn't love finding a
Morgan dollar you know, right? Yeah on the piece.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Yeah, I want to hire that dude for a voiceover
work I need for my company.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
Had a pretty good yeah, yeah, good voiceover guy.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
So what do you think they didn't really go into
any any you know, because they're that's that's for the
lay person that checked them.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Well, but it's also the it's it's the sixty series,
so we know we've got three different detectors in there
that are going to have different features to meet different
price points. So, you know, I think tonight we're going
to probably do a lot of comparison on the five
forty versus the five sixty because that's kind of the
higher end and everything that you get in those you

(25:58):
can not lack of about term dumb them down a
little bit to get to the forties, you know, you
know what I mean. So I think we're gonna look
at at the five sixty versus the five forty, right right,
and uh yeah that you know honestly through the research,
you know, with what Jason Jason's saying right here, I think, personally,

(26:21):
I think that's a fantastic feature to upgrade to the
new rechargeable battery. Chewing through a ton of batteries with
the four to forty now over here over my shoulder.
I've got at gold at Pro which are also you know,
double A batteries, but I think it takes uh what
was it, four or eight batteries. I chewed through batteries

(26:45):
until I went to the Apex where it was rechargeable.
And same thing with pinpointers. I would love to have rechargeable.
I think the technology is there. They last long. Just
my pinion, but I like how what Jason said there.
That's my opinion as well.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
It's even better if you remember to charge your machine
before you go detecting.

Speaker 1 (27:10):
We're talking about let's move along, let's move on.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
But but also if you don't have spare batteries with
you when you are out detecting, so it's it cuts
both sides there, Michael.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
Hey, I remember my batteries. I don't always remember to
charge my machine before I get out. I've got both,
I've got you know, I've got the rechargeables, I've got
the I've got the double a's.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
And how does recharging go for you?

Speaker 1 (27:34):
It goes pretty good, goes pretty good. You got to
get one of these things to take with you and
then and then you got to figure out if it
actually works or not before you and there's.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
Battery packs with you. I mean, if you right, you
just grab a USB charger and bring it with you,
but you got to remember to bring that. But yeah,
there's there's there's two sides too. It is plus and
minuses to both.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah, of course, of course. Yeah, people were.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Reminded the waterproof. I mean, if I were to, if
I could start over, I think I would get a
waterproof machine first. But you know, these these old forty
series are just phenomenal, especially if you're a beginner.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Well you know, some people maybe waterproof doesn't mean that much,
but what would be an example to where you're not
necessarily diving or going into rivers and stuff that waterproof
would be good.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Yeah, Ken DK was just talking about that. You know,
if it starts to rain, don't have to worry about
covering it up.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
Yeah, when I threw.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Yourself up, but you'll be all right, your machine might
not be.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
When I went to the Simplex when it first came out,
that was one of big selling points for me.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
As I wanted a waterproof detector.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
I was using a Technetics T two and you know,
I could wrap the head and I think I'd done
it plenty of times up in the mountains here in Colorado,
but it wasn't a comfort for me to do that.
It wasn't definitely, Oh I can withstand anything. But as
soon as I got my hands on the same, I
was like, God of bring it on, you know what
I mean. It was like, come on, I'm saying out

(29:04):
in the snow, It's like, no matter what, I'm here
and I'm not going anywhere. And yeah, So so the
whole waterproof.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Thing is definitely definitely is the days. Yeah, And I'm
not doing water, you know, I'm not going underwater. You know.
I'd love to do beaches or you know, you know,
in in the line or whatever and try to find
things like that, but but I wouldn't. To me again,
it's it's we have the technology. Why isn't that in

(29:33):
every single machine. It can't be that big of an
upgrade to make it waterproof per se. And I just
think it's it needs to be more of a standard. Yeah,
you know, because of snow. I mean, shoot, Ken and
I have we've been in sleep that was worse than
rain storms, that we've been in and the same idea,
Like I didn't guess it, second guess it. I made

(29:54):
sure I had my muck boots and my gloves and
my hat and scarf and stuff. But I didn't have
any any issue, any question about the machine because it
was waterproof. Not because I'm diving, but because of those
weather conditions. It's one less thing you have to worry about,
question to worry about, right, Yeah, absolutely, you know watering

(30:17):
we're talking about. It definitely has to be a.

Speaker 1 (30:21):
You know, the whole, the whole wireless technology these days too,
I think is important. I know that, you know, I
talk about it a lot because I swing the day
as too, so you know, seeing that, I'm like, man,
I wonder if more manufacturers.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Are going to go that route or if they always.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
Or are they not going to go that route because
they don't like to have to supply a cable, an
optional cable if you're going to go into water with it.
You know, that's the downside to be fully wire wireless
is there's no cable, so if you are going to
go under water, that wireless won't communicate through water, so
you do have to hook a table up to it.
If you're going to go under water, not rain, I'm

(31:01):
just you know, not even to coil on your water
a little bit, but you're gonna dive with it.

Speaker 2 (31:05):
You gotta have a dive dive.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
So but that the wireless technology is great interconnectivity. You know,
we saw the we saw the uh we saw Notck
to come out with their pin pointer that was wireless
and and and connectivity uh to the machine. I know
XP their pin pointers has connectivity to the to the machine,

(31:30):
and uh you know that. I think that is something
that's going to continue to be a plus I think
just in the industry in general. But don't want to
get off on too much of a tangent on on
pin pointers. We wanted to talk about these metal detectors.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Yeah, how about we pull up Uh, I've got this
this uh brought up on my computer. We can kind
of look at maybe both sides of it. So we've
got the five forty on one side right here and
in the five sixty on the other side. And it
was just something I really wanted to kind of look
at together and see if we can kind of compare

(32:08):
apples to apples, because in all actuality, essentially this is
what it is. It's upgraded from the five forty to
the five sixty. So if you're going to compare the two,
what did they actually upgrade? And and you know, nobody's
making machines worse when they upgrade, So what what did
they make better in this machine? Right?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
And Michael, you're gonna have this all over us because
I've never touched before.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Yeah, well we should.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Talk about what do they have in common? I mean, first,
I mean, they're both have the MULTIIQ. They're you know,
simultaneous multi frequency on both. So even the cheaper sure,
the vangs forty series is MULTIIQ. But from what I
could see, I mean this new sixty series, you know,

(32:53):
you've got waterproof, you've got the rechargeable batteries, you've got
the bigger coil. You've just got a lot more more
of everything. And that's not saying much because these you know, three,
forty four, forty, five forty series were so simple. I mean,
even the five forty is pretty simple. It's got a
few extra bells and whistles that you know, this little
guy doesn't have. But the sixty series, it looks like
they just added a lot more of everything more, you know,

(33:18):
you got ten levels of sensitivity instead of instead of
like five, more segments. You've got thirty discrimination segments instead
of five. Right, you've got more tones, You've got five
instead of three. Now are these big deal breakers for beginners?
I don't know. It's up to each person to decide.

(33:40):
And keep in mind, we still all know the exact
price point.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
Do we.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Did?

Speaker 1 (33:47):
We can search for it. Let me, did you search
for it?

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Tony?

Speaker 3 (33:50):
I think we found like five hundred on we did sixty,
So the five this is going to be so confusing
for people. The five sixty I think we found. Me
go back to my list, foe, right.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
I thought we had seen it for four ninety nine
as well. As there was multiple price points, the.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Consensus was that this new sixty series is like about
one hundred bucks board that it's predecessors, right, right, And
if that's what you're after, I mean, I think it
would be worth a hundred bucks if that's what you want.
If you want you know, again the waterproof, all these
extra things, that's great if but if your budget's two
hundred bucks, I mean, these these old forty series are

(34:31):
still they're still good. But you know, get back to
me after I get my hands on one of these
sixty series, I may just say, no, spin the extra
hundred bucks. It's worth it. But you know, as I.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
Pulled it out, one of the things go ahead. One
of the things I just saw at two point six pounds. Right, No,
wait really people?

Speaker 3 (34:50):
Sure?

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Sure? Sure? And I don't know what that is on
this side over here? Oh here we go? Is that
two point eight pounds? So honestly, I mean that's that's
a pretty light machine. It's that, you know, it's it's
definitely comparable to a lot of the machines that are
out there right now. So yeah, the best.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
Thing about this why the reason why I like it again,
I mean, this thing was two hundred bucks, and let's
say it was three hundred. It's one of these machines.
Like if I've got guests or total guests who want
to learn, or if I go to a property owner
and I and I this is great, you know, great tip,
Like if you've got a property owner who gives you
permission or maybe thinking about giving you permission, you can

(35:30):
always say, hey, I got an extra machine and you
can join me. I'll teach you. Man. These things take
two seconds to teach somebody how to use Yes, no bells,
no whistles.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Right, three tones. Yeah, it's going to be where it's
not right right. One of the things that I don't
know if I expected to become better. But and I'd
asked you, Michael about this before you touch on it
is multi frequency, but that's it. There are no single
frequencies with it. To me on an upgrade, I don't know.

(36:03):
Maybe I think maybe they could have thrown in four
single frequencies with the multi frequency, but you know.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
That extra brands or something, you know.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up because the sixty
series does have the different search modes, where on the
forty series they weren't really different modes. It was more
like you're just notching out all the stuff below.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
There you go. Number.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
So in the sixty series, yeah, you've got beach mode,
You've got Parker Field. I'm guessing that relates to to
the frequency. You know, is the beach mode more biased
towards the lower frequencies.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
It's a good question. That's a good question, even though
you can't you can't, you can't ident choose them individually.
Maybe those different modes then are also kind of using
that multi frequency in a different way.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Yeah, maybe it's heavier on the high, heavier on the lows.

Speaker 2 (37:00):
I sure know enough.

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yeah, we get the manufacturers on here. Those are great questions,
great questions.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, bluetooth audio, which is which is nice? That's that's uh?
And did they would have bluetooth audio on the five
forty as well. I'm having a look on on my
other screen because I can't necessarily see it on the
on the chat here. Yeah. Oh and yeah, this was

(37:30):
this was great. Here look at this. Somebody had mentioned
this actually I pulled this up. Yeah, Ohio Fred l.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Someone in the chat Relic Relic rat recovering artifacts together asked,
just got here, what is the two hundred dollars detector
you were talking about? I'm guessing the only two hundred
dollars we've machine that we've discussed so far is the
Vanquished three right, right, So this is the forty series
tonight we're kind of talking about the news sixty series.

(38:01):
But not to get too confusing, this is the older
one two hundred bucks. I mean, I think it's one
ninety nine across the board no matter where you get it,
and just my personal opinion, I mean if you're on
a budget, or again you just want a good loaner
machine two hundred bucks? Is it paid for itself? Pretty quickly?

Speaker 2 (38:19):
I wanted to ask you these negative negative target IDs.
You know, we've gone from negative nine on the five forty,
so now negative nineteen on the five sixty. And in addition,
they've gone up to a forty forty target ID all

(38:41):
the way up to the ninety nine. So just like
Ohio fred Ell says, now we're talking about one hundred
and nineteen target IDs. What's your opinion on the negative
I've never used I have not used one with negative
numbers on it. When you're talking about Ferris.

Speaker 3 (38:59):
What is your like really good? Iron? Right?

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Yeah, really really good?

Speaker 3 (39:03):
I mean iron, No, I don't know much about the
negative numbers either. I've always just kind of waited and
assumed negative meant bad or it's like right, yeah, a
piece of charcoal in the ground or so DK. I mean,
do you know a lot about the negatives other than
I mean anything below zero is pretty much.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
Yeah, iron, I don't. I don't know. I've never seen
I've never seen the machine with that. Yeah, let's known
the check. Do you know my very first machine I got.
Remember that Tony had had two hundred at a v
D I two hundred. Yeah too much. So Tony'd be like,
what number did that come in? I'm like, don't worry
about it. One hundred and forty eight.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
By two, and you know, it's all of that stuff,
you know, when you're in that forty uh forty target
I D and I think that what the Knox eight
hundred when that came out, or maybe this is six
hundred that also went to the forty and and they've
changed that for the seven hundred, nine hundred, or it's
now going up to the ninety nine one to ninety nine,
and you know with yours that was up to two hundred.

(40:08):
You know, it's it's all relative to kind of the
same scales, whether it's expanded or if it's you know,
if it's condensed down. I personally, I love the ninety nine.
That's all I've ever used. So the reason why I
was asking about the negative numbers, like, I've never never
used that. With the negative I just know, yeah under
twenty on one hundred, it grunts, and I assume that

(40:31):
it's iron, you know, so you know, non fair are
its fairest type of things.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
You know, it's interesting you brought that up. I was
thinking about this earlier, and I know most people watching
are probably familiar with Brad of Green Mountain, sure, and
I was watching a video this this guy knows his
stuff right, and he's out there. He said he was
going to turn on the iron and start digging some
iron targets at this particular location, and he shocked himself.

(40:57):
He pulled out like a really cool I don't remember
what it was, I want to say it was like
a brass artifact that he would just kind of sat
there with his head and his hands going like damn.
I thought, I knew this machine, and here it is,
I'm digging something that's you know, super low numbers. I
could have sworn it was iron and it wasn't. So

(41:18):
you've heard it before, folks. You know those numbers don't
mean anything. And then here you have somebody with like
all the experience in the world going, I thought, I
knew my machine, and.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
That's part of learning the machine though, you know. I mean,
like I remember the T two. I was so familiar
with that machine that, yeah, it would give me an
art an iron signal and it's fine and I kind
of learned what the iron nails were when they were
come in, But then there was these really interesting iron
VDI and sounds and tones that I would be like,

(41:50):
with the combination of all that the VDI, the tones,
what I was hearing, how it sounded on the edge
of the coil, I was like, that is an interesting
piece of iron. And it was at the point to
where every time I dug it, I knew it wasn't
a nail and it had to be something interesting. Maybe
it was a hinge, maybe it was a horseshoe, maybe
it was, you know, a drawer pull or something or

(42:11):
some other type of interesting piece of iron that I
want to find in these sites, some of these old
home sites. So you know, I'm still learning it with XP,
but it's just learning that machine and learning what's good
iron or what's not so good iron. And that's up
to your own you know, that's up to your own
decision on what you've got location.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
You know, you guys taught me a valuable lesson out
at that old stagecoach station we were on. Yeah, you know,
some of these targets just sounded awful, and you know
they've been in the ground for one hundred and sixty years.
Some of them were pretty deep, and the big lesson
there was, you know, when you're on a site like that,
I don't care how terrible it soun you dig You
did everything. I mean, DK's seated, you know coins. You know,

(42:57):
he was the first to say they sounded awful.

Speaker 1 (43:01):
If he signals right, We talked to Michael all the time.
If he signals like, you got to dig them. If
you're in that type of you know, type of.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
Area, always sound like silver.

Speaker 1 (43:10):
But let me show you, guys this comment, right, Steven's
single handed jewelry and more. It's fixing or replace as
simple ex Yeah, just since the motherboard went wonky, right,
just using the vibration mode. So far, so the time
to get a new one. Okay, guys, what does he
get out of the fifty different machines that are now
available that I read to you at the beginning of

(43:31):
the show. What does he get? Well, there's ways to
walk him through that, right, What are you looking for?
Where are you hunting?

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Where?

Speaker 2 (43:39):
What do you used to do? Right?

Speaker 1 (43:41):
Because somebody coming from like a real just on off
type machine, it's either on or off to something like
that has a lot of frequency or sound, you know,
detail to it, like the F seventy or something like that,
where you're hearing a lot of sound is you know,
can put people off. Now coming to some of these

(44:02):
new machines, most of them are going to be pretty quiet,
unless you're going forty killers or something. But but what
where would you would you what's your price point? Two hundred,
three hundred four hundred, right, I mean there's this point,
there's a what do you shop with? How do you
do you shop?

Speaker 3 (44:23):
Some much like shopping for a computer. I work on
computers and my customers asked me, They're like what should
I get? It's like, well, what are you used to?
I don't like Apple computers. But if you're used to Apple,
stupid Apple. Yeah, if you if you're a PC guy,
go if your Linux, go with Linux. But if you're
willing to learn something new, try to completely you know,
something completely different. But it's one of those things. You

(44:45):
as ten different detectorists here, you might get ten different answers.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
I was just going to say that I was looking
at the chat and people are trying to help Stephen
out as well, and we've got wild men, says oh
I bet Delick. Would still help you out. Then Andrews says, well,
how about the triple score? You know, uh what was
another one? Here? The day is two legend? Like, I mean,
you talked to six different people, are going get six

(45:11):
different answers?

Speaker 1 (45:13):
Yeah, but I think it all depends on Steven.

Speaker 2 (45:16):
I was just gonna say, I think it's more about
the person you're asking the question too, needs to return
and ask the question like like you guys had said,
what are what are you? What are you expecting? What
do you used to So we can kind of narrow
it down because like Ken started this whole thing out
is why why do we have fifty different metal detectors? There?
You go? How is it confusing everybody?

Speaker 3 (45:38):
Here?

Speaker 2 (45:39):
You go?

Speaker 3 (45:39):
Steven says, I'm on a fixed income. I mean that's
that's a deal breaker right there. So I think for
two three hundred bucks you can get a decent machine.

Speaker 1 (45:48):
You can.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
They're out there, absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
Yeah. If he liked this Impacts Plus, which is a
great machine by the way, which really is you know,
you can find something very comparable to that for you know,
the same price point you paid for that. I think
that was two fifty back in the day, right, So
if two fifty is your prime point, you got a
lot of options these days, and if you want to go,

(46:13):
you know, it's just whether you want to stay within
that right that what you know, which would be you know,
one of the scores probably, or one of the upgraded
simplexes maybe the B team maybe, or do you want
to try it to upgrade and push your what you're
going to spend a little more? Then there's a whole

(46:35):
nother list in five or six price points that you
can choose for right right.

Speaker 3 (46:41):
Well, what matters is that you dig it all right there.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
You go, yeah, and it's you know, I guess just
a yeah. Ultimately you can find something with anything.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
Yes, you can find a a Morgan on the beach
with the five next to your parents.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Didn't you see that? I just showed you the video.
It's absolutely possible.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
Guaranteed, You're guarantee guaranteed. It was in the commercial.

Speaker 2 (47:11):
What else? What else do you want to touch on
the on the vanquished side, I want to get to
a giveaway? What else? What else are you thinking?

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Well? Does anyone else swing a vank? Do we have
anyone in the chat that uses uh?

Speaker 2 (47:23):
I haven't seen anybody saying that they do no.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
No, if you swing a vanquish. Let's know, I was
looking on what's I'll settle for.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
An next stra a pro? How's that is? Anybody you
got one of those? That's actually very different. The next
airs are single frequency.

Speaker 1 (47:39):
But so here's something I was looking through on a
on this website I found it said that the the
armrests is removable with the strap. I don't know if
that's important to anybody or not. The USB C magnetic
charging cable. So it's a magnetic charging cable.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
That's cool. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
So it's basically a MAC cable. Cost you ninety nine dollars.

Speaker 1 (48:06):
Though only US would have a computer guy on to
talk about metal d.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
The Manicore is magnetic charging as well, and I do
like that feature because when they came up with the Apex,
I tell you, the charging port on the Apex nearly
impossible to get that in there. It is, it is
miserable to try to charge the Apex. And when I
got the Manicore, it was night and day different.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
What's that, oh, magnetic days two charger? Yeah, because I
don't like the stock charger on the days here. So
the Vanquished three to sixty comes with the V ten
X coil, so the four sixty is the same way,
but the five sixty comes with a V twelve X
coil and wired headphones. But they have a pro pack

(48:55):
for the five sixty that comes with the V twelve
X and the V eight X coils and m L
sixty Low latency bluetooth wireless earbuds.

Speaker 2 (49:06):
Wow, that's pretty cool. That's a pretty big upgrade. Yeah,
low latency bluetooth.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Yeah, earbuds.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
Now, do we know if those are proprietary earbuds speacause
you know the past, they gotta be mine lab. You know,
they make the kits where you do all that stuff.
But I'd like to see manufacturers just put my two
cents out there, you know, make them universal. We'll just
get our own low latency bluetooth. Put a put a
you know, mind lab or an oak a sticker on

(49:36):
the side.

Speaker 1 (49:38):
But it is a Mac.

Speaker 3 (49:40):
Holy cow, it's got the Apple logo and everything. Geeze,
what I'm seeing is that nobody has a Vanquish. I
mean it doesn't look like anyone has.

Speaker 2 (49:51):
I think Felix does.

Speaker 3 (49:54):
Felix does, Okay, Yeah, Felix tim Felix has a as well.
I would love to get some feedback on that, but
we're talking about some other machines tonight too.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Right, Yeah, we are real quick, bill. Yeah, this is
where the D two magnetic charger top and bottom connects
to the USB. Okay, get a.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
Hold of me.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
I'll let you know where you can get it and
make sure you plug it in. I make them in
my backyard. That's fifty two ninety five with tax, no decent.
Oh yeah, so you want to do some stickers giveaways?

Speaker 2 (50:29):
Yeah, let's do a sticker stick How do they win them? Well,
we're gonna have you guys put in the chat. You
have to be listening live in order to be available
to possibly win this. So if you guys are listening
live right now, just go ahead and type in the
chat hashtag stickers and let me share this.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
No space all one word?

Speaker 2 (50:53):
Yeah, let me let me hold on here stand by,
that's just hold on a second. Here we go. I
think it's this one. Nope? Is that it? Yeah? So
hashtag stickers into the chat right now, and we're gonna
draw a winner. You're gonna end up getting the vintage

(51:17):
the highly collectible Weekly Dirt we have adventures in dirt.
We've got a fifty to eighty, and then we've got
the highly sought after RELX radio. So hashtag stickers, Michael,
you're not eligible, and snicker is not correct.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Michael, you want to snickers? Felix press that the vanquishes
a second machine. Oh you really enjoyed it?

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Yeah, yeah, I have. I have never swung one. I've
been next to somebody swinging one.

Speaker 1 (51:55):
Michael.

Speaker 2 (51:56):
There you go. Yeah, now, oh metal tech Noko, We're
gonna drump dump him. We are not giving away Tony's
man or.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
Come on, Tony never get never gets one.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
Can hope Tony might be in a market of getting
a second Manicorp just for a backup, because he loves
it so damn much. Jeez, I gotta stop comp I
think you're getting a swollen head. Non stop complimenting you,
saying how much you're killing it with that machine. It's

(52:32):
it's a good machine, but you got to learn the machine. Yeah,
most important is look to learn your machine. That's right.
So about another thirty seconds.

Speaker 1 (52:42):
There, hashtag stickers.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
There you go, let's go that one is that one
is a vintage one of those hats on the shelf
again I moved, and a whole bunch of stuff, a
whole bunch of of merch relics rate you'll merge, I found.
So yeah, we're giving away a whole bunch of stuff eventually.
Now that I found it, I was all packed away.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
So Bob Ross, Oh, Bob Rose, I said, Bob Ross.
Bob Ross as well.

Speaker 2 (53:14):
Yeah, I'm sure you do. All right, we're gonna do
run it.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
Were going to do this a couple of times tonight, right,
So if you don't win this time, you got another
second chance coming up. Yeah, maybe in another within the
next half hour.

Speaker 2 (53:30):
Next cheese. We've already gone an hour. We haven't got
to the legend too yet.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
Mark, we don't want equal opportunity. Well, Mark, if you're listening,
we're going to have you on. Buddy, same with you, Debbie,
if you happen to be listening, we need to have
you on as well. Two great representatives for their manufacturer. Yeah,
I love to have them both on the show.

Speaker 2 (53:51):
All right, let's do stickers real quick, and I want
to talk about the legend. So here we go. Seventeen entries. Excellent,
really draw, who's it gonna be?

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Who's it gonna be.

Speaker 2 (54:10):
Sticker sticker sticker detect sd ding ding ding ding ding.

Speaker 1 (54:18):
Congratulations, right, good job you got the coveted sticker pack.
We got one more to give away tonight. You know, eventually, guys,
really seriously, we will be giving away some of these hats.
And Tony's got a number of them. I got a
number of them. You can see him the right behind me,
just like Tony has the right back there, but they're

(54:38):
hidden by the laser lights.

Speaker 2 (54:40):
You just can't see him right now. Laser lasers. Congrats Jason.
Hold on, Jason, send your send your address over to
Dkdadventures in dir dot com and uh we'll get that
sticker pack sent out to you.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
Mm hm, I know where to send him. Don't you
Just send them to Jason at South Dakota and just
it'll make its way to him.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Yeah, everybody knows Jason.

Speaker 3 (55:11):
It's like Wyoming. There's like twelve addresses.

Speaker 1 (55:15):
I thought we were almost done with my job in
South Dakota.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, and then they had a water leak and now
I'm am not going to be done anytime soon. Hey.
I wanted to thank Michael real quick for all of
your expertise and conversation about the Vanquish. We appreciate you
coming on because you had some experience with it. Yeah,

(55:39):
thanks fantastic, and uh it's been great having you on
for that for sure.

Speaker 3 (55:44):
And uh yeah, I'm glad to help. Thank you so
much for having me on. This is fun, it's been
it's been a long time.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
And how can people find you, Michael? How can they
see their stuff?

Speaker 3 (55:53):
Michael? At Colorado everyone knows from the envelope And it's
just like South Dakota. You know it'll it'll find me. No,
you can find me on TikTok and on YouTube Metal Detecting.
No Co right there, that's short for Northern Colorado. I

(56:14):
learned there was another no co up here, and I
think she does like baking or something like that on
TikTok and she kept getting these comments thinking that no
co was short for no company or some other weird
stuff and she had to explain. So I learned a
long time ago, you have to explain. This is short.
So Northern Colorado's no coh foco do they do? They do?

(56:40):
They have.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
No go do not?

Speaker 3 (56:47):
And I'm sure there's one for Denver.

Speaker 6 (56:48):
We love Lo Loco, yes, so yeah, find a love
if you subscribe on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
Other than that. Yeah, thanks again, guys, It's been real
fun and we'll see.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Let's go again to see stay tuned. We're gonna talk
about the Legend here. We're gonna have Michael Bounce.

Speaker 1 (57:16):
Bounce, Michael bounced. Yeah, let's get the legend.

Speaker 3 (57:19):
Man.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
We took a took a long time with the vank,
so another two hours with the Legend. Stay tuned.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
Here we go. We're gonna kick it off. I think
full moco. Let's let's kick off the Legend two announcement
with their video as well. Just like the Vanquish, this
came out probably what within the last week week and
a half or so. Yeah, right on there. That was.

(57:49):
It was nice. They've kind of been has been been
hinting at something for a while and this is kinda
kind of let out over at Detective all Or people
actually got their hands on this. Yeah, and then the
videos came out and stuff. So let's watch the video
real quick on what Noka has to say about the
new Legend two Legends.

Speaker 7 (58:09):
See, it wasn't just a machine, it was a promise
the same the ground beneath your feet, a tool that
earned trust, the only way that matters one hunt at
a time. But trust isn't where it ends. It's where
evolution begins, built on the DNA of a proven machine,

(58:30):
reforged by the voices of those who used it, shaped
by experience, designed for tomorrow. Because what you're searching for
isn't just buried treasure. It's connection to history, to the thrill,
to the silence right before the sound. And sometimes what

(58:51):
you unearth isn't just a coin, it's proof that the
story isn't over. The legend continues with you, because legends
don't die, they evolve, and.

Speaker 2 (59:36):
So much to talk about on that little, tiny little breeze.
They threw so much into that.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Yeah, and just the overall presence, you know, weighing the
two right between mind Lab and that one. So mind
Lab was geared towards Hey, we're coming out with this
new stuff. Here's how cool it is. Here's how you
can find a dollar on the beach, that kind of stuff.
Look how cool it is. Right where the legend is
an upgrade coming from the legend, two is an upgrade
coming from the legend. So the target of that at

(01:00:02):
that shock real basically was Hey, current users, here's what
we're doing to upgrade you or if you may have
heard about the legend, here's what's so cool about the
legend too, and the main theme of that entire thing,
which has been the theme of NACTA, and I sure
hope they never lose that, yes, is we listen to

(01:00:22):
the customers, right people.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
Play the beginning of that again, because I'm so glad
that you said that. How they made this video caught
me right away was everything that they talk about. We
listened to the end user and this is what we've done.
So here's the beginning of it, and you can see
all the social media posts that they put in from
everybody suggesting and wanting different things.

Speaker 7 (01:00:42):
Legend wasn't just a machine. It was a promise between
us and the ground beneath your feet, a tool that
earned trust the only way that matters one hunt at
a time. But trust isn't where it ends, it's where evol.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
How cool is that? I noticed that right away? As
soon as I saw that video, that's the first thing
I noticed and related it to what Delix spresses and
talks about all the time. May be listening to you,
and that's why they have so many updates, how many
you know, they're waiting on to release this because they're
tweaking this, because they're listening so much to what everybody
wants and how they put that video together right at

(01:01:21):
the beginning, just absolutely nailed it with that.

Speaker 1 (01:01:24):
Yeah. And I'll take a step into that and say that,
and I've said it before without naming names, but I
think that some of these manufacturers, these metal detecting metal detectors,
they they don't do that. They sit in a boardroom
and they sit behind closed doors and they talk amongst

(01:01:44):
themselves about what they want to make. And they may
talk in this boardroom about what they are getting the
feel for. But boy, when you're only talking about five
or six people in a room trying to come up
with your next machine, and that's what you're going, Oh,
here's what I heard, Here's what I think think, here's
what it's. It's me telling you, mister President. Let's say

(01:02:05):
this is what we need to make next, instead of no,
the people have already told us.

Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
What we need to make next.

Speaker 1 (01:02:11):
You know what I mean, because I've seen people miss
with that. I've seen manufacturers do that and come out
with something and it completely miss. And it seems to
me when I see that happen. I go, they weren't
listening to the customer. We're behind some door making a
decision all secretively, not not taking any kind of input
from the end user, or maybe five or six, but

(01:02:33):
not not like knocked.

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
The does it the way I see it? I absolutely agree? Yeah,
you shake, you shake your head and go, were you
even listening? Yeah? You know, because they're doing their own thing.
They're focused on something because that's the direction that they think,
but they're missing the point, right, the point? All right,
A couple different things I think I wanted to show
real quick. Umm was just to take away from that.

(01:03:01):
We're getting five modes. They actually added in that relic mode.
Park Field, Beach and Gold were on the original legend,
but they've added this relic mode now. So in terms
of mode wise, again, how much does it change between
all of them? Some people live in Actually the feedback

(01:03:24):
that I've heard about a lot of machines is if
they have a beach mode, beach mode nails it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:30):
Well listen to this like And that shocked me because
I used the legend, use the legend a lot. Yeah,
And we were just talking to our friend Cindy, who
was over in England hunting the fields in England for
old relics, and she has the legend and I said,
what mode are you hunting in? She goes beach and
I'm killing it right, And then she said, but I'm

(01:03:53):
going to switch over here to field in.

Speaker 2 (01:03:54):
Her minute and see how that does.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
But the beach mode over there was killing it for interesting,
but she wasn't on the beach, you know what I mean.
So it doesn't. It's just how the programs are set
up for each each mode, and how that's going to
go against the train you're working in. Can you use
gold at the beach? Gold gold can use gold on
in a field? Yeah, I mean they have a relic

(01:04:19):
a program and a gold program in the day is too,
and they're very similar to each other, a very very
similar super sensitive, high high frequency. Uh here's everything. When
I was doing some testing gold the gold gold program,
nothing could hide from it. At at insane depths, it

(01:04:43):
was just crazy. But so there's so many other things
also though that added to the to the legend. Two.
I mean, I love it. I love that they're doing
that because they're coming out there, they're talking to the
customers and they they obviously didn't want to do any
more updates, right, Right, So that's another thing that Knocktor was,

(01:05:05):
you know, famous for, was coming out with all these updates.

Speaker 2 (01:05:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
You have people on two sides of the aisle right
where they're like, why would you need to put on
an update? Right if it wasn't it perfect to begin with,
why would you release it if it needed updates? And
you have other people going cool, you listen to people,
you put updates in, You listen to more people, you
put more updates in.

Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Right, Yeah, people are always questioning the the quality if
you're continuously throwing in these updates. But you know what, again,
you look at you look at any any any machine,
whether it's you know, your computer, if it's your phone,
your metal tuctor. If they're making updates, it's for an improvement.
They're never gonna dumb down something, make an update to

(01:05:48):
make it less So updates are, in my opinion, aren't
always that bad. So yeah, I wanted to show exactly
what it does come with. It's gonna to come with
two coils. You're going to get the the eleven inch coil,
the eight and a half by five and a half
inch coil. You're going to get those low latency headphones

(01:06:09):
and you're charging cable. That's that's just the that's not
the pro package. This is just the standard Legend two.
And I don't know if you guys know, but there
is like an an on off switch here for to
turn these on or to increase the volume on a
note that isn't that ray Ken.

Speaker 1 (01:06:30):
That's what I hear. I have yet to experience that,
but I hear it does. People have been listening to
the show a long time.

Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
They're like, that's story again, that that story again. Yeah,
and then I did want to add one more thing
before we do really dig into it, but let me
share this last screen here. I did see this. It
was also on the noe To website. They do have
or these are recommended accessories for the Legend too. You've

(01:07:01):
got the fifteen inch coil, the nine inch coil, those
underwater bone conduction headphones. Sounds pretty darn cool. I know
that what XP has those as well. Pretty cool feature.
And then this external waterproof battery, which I think is
a fantastic idea. This actually goes underneath you or what

(01:07:22):
arm cuff doesn't really mess up the balance of the machine,
doesn't make it, you know, you know, top and heavy,
so I think it did a great job with that.
But those are recommended accessories from Nocta themselves.

Speaker 1 (01:07:37):
They jumped a VDI up to ninety nine. I think
that was a big request by a lot of people.
Did They wanted to change from sixty to go up
to ninety nine now, So it's going to be it's
almost like becoming a standard almost, you know what I mean, Like,
you know, they all went to USB C chargers now
for everything, even the iPhones and stuff. Becoming a standard.
I think, I think, I think the ninety up to

(01:07:59):
ninety eight.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Yeah, I think what people target ideas. Yeah, people, I
like that. I like that as well. Let's see what
else two point six pounds. I wanted to mention that
I do believe that the Legend one was two point
eight pounds, so slightly slightly lighter. But again they're going
in the right direction. They're making you know, they're adding whatever.

(01:08:23):
You know, you have a longer battery life, I think
is what they had said somewhere over here, longer run time,
so you know, there's got to be some sort of
an increase or a larger battery. But yet the machine
actually gets lighter, very very interesting to me. Still going
with five single frequencies, the four, ten, fifteen, forty as

(01:08:43):
well as uh that multi frequency so big, huge range.
I do really like that. I know, uh, you know,
we've talked to people. You and I have talked to
people that sometimes will switch over to the forty in
single frequency and it just changes changes you're out look
on everything.

Speaker 1 (01:09:02):
Yeah, you can't knock single frequencies, man, I know that
a lot of people multi frequency when it came out
or started to come out popularly, everyone wanted a multi frequency.
But having a multi frequency machine that you can actually
tune into a secretl single frequency machine, even if you're
at fifteen killer hurts. Sometimes it is better in certain conditions,

(01:09:22):
a certain terrain than multi frequency forty killer hurts. Man.
You'll find the smallest stuff that you never even knew
was there. Running a multi frequency, you'll miss it. We
always lean back to the story because it was so
visually and obviously open the eyes. Jeff Lubert was hunting

(01:09:43):
with us. We had a school site that we had
already hit and found everything, and he goes back there.
He kept finding all these little items and we're just like, man,
what are you swinging? And he's like, oh, I just
I reduced. I reduced everything to just forty killer its
single frequency forty killers, and was finding everything that we
had never found.

Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Yeah, tiny tiny pieces. So and Tim Mildigger said, the
four killer hurts is a silver killer frequency. So yes,
again you know it. It don't knock the single frequencies
out there. And in order, I mean that that's a
pretty big range. I know, uh, you know it used
to be up to the twenty and then they start
adding the forty in so the really making a broad

(01:10:26):
broad range that you can use in single frequency.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Yeah. And Jason Meltech detectest the study's surprised it doesn't
appear to have a carbon shaft, but I believe it does, Jason.
I believe that's one of the new selling features. It
does have a full carbon shaft, which is which is
why it's two six instead of two eight pounds two
point two point six pounds, probably because the carbon shaft

(01:10:52):
going to carbon shaft. I know that back the Legend
one came with different packages, right, you get the pro
pack and all this different stuff. This one's coming with
two coils, right, automatically coming with two coils. You won't
have an option to buy different packages. It's just the
leged legend two.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:11):
There, it is, that's it. Pharaoh check Pharaoh check trash filters.

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
I did notice as well on the video and I
haven't been able to see it on any specs, but uh,
to me, this is something different, and I could be
completely wrong with this. It said target ID on pinpoint
on your pinpointer, so you know we've got the pinpoint
uh feature, but it's actually gonna have target ID associated

(01:11:39):
with the pinpoint feature. I don't know of anything else
that has that, and there may be something out there.
I'm just not educated in that enough.

Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
Usually it goes to a graphic and goes rude right
or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:11:52):
Right, you're zuning it, and this is actually show that target. Yeah,
the target I D will still be there for the
pinpoint to identify. If you've got multiple you know, and
you're trying to get that silver underneath the nail, you know,
on one side of the other, and you're gonna be
able to figure that out. Will the VDI change with
the pinpoint function and words.

Speaker 1 (01:12:14):
As you're zeroing in on it?

Speaker 3 (01:12:17):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
Interesting?

Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Will it will it jump more?

Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
What I mean uncrappier target.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Interesting question there, That is very interesting because you know
it does change, you know, as you're going over different objects.

Speaker 1 (01:12:30):
So oh, and we all use different tips and tricks
to try to because usually when it usually when a
signal jumps on you, it means it's kind of a
junk signal. It's not what you thought it was. When
it repeats on you, those are usually the more perverbable,
you know, desirable targets.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Right.

Speaker 1 (01:12:46):
But you know, when you circle it and things start jumping,
you got to make the decision when you add your
coil on it and things start changing. You know, a nice,
good coin signal will stay the same no matter if
you circle it or if you you know, pop your
coil up and down on it, or if you edge
it with your coil, usually it'll stay the same. So
that's kind of some checks that people will do to

(01:13:07):
try to see.

Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Oh is this really truly a coin?

Speaker 1 (01:13:10):
Let's say, but if you now, if you if you
if you do all that and it hangs in there
just with four or five VDI points difference when you
go to pinpoint it, if now it jumps you know,
from sixty eight to thirty two to forty two to
sixty eight. You know what I mean? You're like, oh, right,
and is that another tool? There's that another information tool? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
Right? Interesting. I don't know how they would do that. Yeah,
I don't know, it's interesting. I would love to get
my hands on one and to verify that, because that's
that's a pretty interesting idea. I did see on the
video as well. What was it wireless updating? Yeah? I

(01:13:53):
think that I did wireless updating, So you do it
on your phone.

Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
And wirelessly connects and updates your detector through your phone
through an app wirelessly, probably Bluetooth or something.

Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Sure, I thought that was quite interesting. Don't even have
to have it in front of a computer plugged in, no, right,
I mean yeah you could. You could actually do it
in the field, you know. And I don't know if
that's using you know, your your phone is a hotspot
or like you said, connect to your phone via Bluetooth.
How that all works. Again, I don't We don't have

(01:14:29):
that information. But I did catch that as a little
uh you know, little words that were on there for
the video. But I didn't see that in any of
the specs yet to describe and identify talk about what
that does. M larger screen, Larry says, larger screen is
gonna be sweet. And the little lit up buttons as well.

Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
Yeah, the lighted buttons is huge. Yeah, it's another big improvement.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
It does that. That screen itself does look pretty pretty cool. Yeah,
it does.

Speaker 1 (01:15:03):
It's sort of the same layout. So for current Legend.

Speaker 7 (01:15:06):
Users built on the DNA.

Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
Sorry, I was I was gonna try and uh, I was,
I was off screen looking at some data. Yeah, go ahead,
you can, you can.

Speaker 1 (01:15:17):
I was gonna say, for the current Legend union, it's
all gonna look very familiar to the layout, button, layout, functions,
all that stuff. It's just on a larger screen with
lighted lighted buttons, you know, one extra mode in there.
But it's gonna all look very familiar to you. As
far as the menu scrolling through the menu, I don't
think they changed much of that up from the from

(01:15:37):
the the small sort of release and talk that they
did at Detectible and uh. Also there was a presentation
down maybe in France or or somewhere Lafia maybe where
they did like a like an indoor conference room presentation. Yeah, actually, no,

(01:15:59):
I'm sorry, you know what, I'm getting confused that was
the That was the mind line.

Speaker 2 (01:16:02):
That's right. I'm sorry about that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
It was that detective Ball where they were talking about that.
And as you can see from the screen right.

Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
There too, that's very that's that's legend all the way,
you know what I mean? Mm hmm reading the chat
here digging Scott, that's right. See, we'll have to we'll
have to throw that in.

Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
Yeah, it'll find all of grandma's brooches. Grandma, Grandma lost stuff,
Grandma did stuff. We told him that's what you should
call his YouTube channel. He starts doing YouTube right, Gramma
lost some stuff. That's perfect, man.

Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
I love it. What else I mean? I can't really
think of. Did they hint about price and they say
something like around one thousand bucks? You know you had
mentioned something like that. If anybody has heard, if you
guys are listening right now or even after the fact,
if you guys have heard anything about the price, whether

(01:17:06):
it's that Detectiveal hot mess fishing, welcome, thanks, thanks for
coming in. You might have some information about that as well.
Let us know, Scott said, Okay, here we go, yeah,
digg and Scott says one thousand, Felix set one thousand,

(01:17:27):
Delick had said around one thousand, and even Teresa said
around nine ninety nine. So yeah, that information must be
out there as well. So uh, Alex Radio has it
for seven ninety nine, better or not. You get your

(01:17:47):
pre orders in now, send me a check. Yeah, I
thought that's what they had hinted to.

Speaker 1 (01:17:57):
And Ish, I know pre orders, per orders aren't happening yet, right,
I think they're I think they're still waiting to open
pre orders.

Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
Right, not that I've heard of. Yeah, not that I've
heard of. So and again, I think Noda does a
lot of this where they you know, they get the
information out there, they're still trying to figure things out.
You know, there was a prototype out of Detective All.
I know our buddy Cindy actually had her hands on it.
Oh yeah, and uh Alicia hot mess fishing. I was

(01:18:29):
gonna mention this. Noda is having their big video tomorrow
about the legend too, So we'll see if if delok
uh you know, locks down a price and a date.
She's you know, always avoiding that question and side stepping
those kind of things. Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
I think they rather talk price than delivery dates.

Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
Right. We need to know exactly what day this is available, uh,
you're not going to be able to hold her down
for that one. Yes, Andrew did say they were going
to the testers first, yet right, Yeah, it's gonna be
a little bit so that comes out. They're they're good
at getting the information out there, you know, making some
hype for us to all talk about it and make

(01:19:11):
all these guesses and assumptions. But uh, yeah, go out
to the testers and but yeah, Noda is putting on
their big I think it's what is it. It's noon
Eastern Standard time. You can catch that video either on Facebook,
Noka's Facebook YouTube, all that kind of stuff, and uh,

(01:19:34):
we'll be able to I know everybody hears me tuning
in for it. I know that I'm gonna try and
watch it. I'll be at work, but I'm gonna try
to watch that for sure and be on there so
we'll learn some more information for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
Kind Of it was kind of a shock, I mean
for a lot of people. I know some people right
because you and I were talking about it and it
was we had caught or you had you had caught
on on one of the videos from one of the
beast Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:20:01):
Where in Illinois or Iowa or something like that. Wasn't
it and they one away and.

Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
They were like, you you won one of the new
high end machines. And Tony I both were like, oh,
they're coming out with their PI machine right or oh,
they're coming out with you know, something else. We don't
know what it.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
Is, and something to compete with the higher end, higher
higher ends.

Speaker 1 (01:20:24):
Yeah, we just didn't. We assumed it was a guest work.
It was guesswork everywhere, you know. And then well and
then she said one of the new high end machines,
and so we were like, well, what's that going to be?

Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
You know what I mean? Right, Yeah, they let that
kind of out of the bag there. Somebody actually won
the legend too before it was the legend too, so
you know, and she did not call it the legend
two and you and I both got we we kind
of got a message about that, like, you know what,
I don't think you guys are on the right path there, right.

Speaker 1 (01:20:57):
So, but it was so it was kind of a
big secret that hadn't been leaked very much. It was
kind of small circles that had been leaked. So pretty
pretty amazing.

Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Yeah, but I'm anxious to see tomorrow what what what
what additional information because everything we've talked about. Obviously there's
no insider information. You know, this is all stuff that
we put off of noked his website and things that
they've already let out there and released, so we know,
we know, we don't know additional things that were you know,
kind of releasing that we shouldn't be talking about. So

(01:21:34):
it'd be interesting to see what what d Lik and
Mark have to say tomorrow about the legend too. You know,
I think there's a lot of a lot of anxiousness
on this one. I think it's I think it's, uh,
the talk of twenty twenty five is going to be
this legend legend two right, Right.

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
People are gonna people are gonna people are.

Speaker 2 (01:21:57):
Gonna dig the up upgrades to it, for sure, they yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:22:01):
But so how do you feel about this? Like all
these offerings coming out now? Right, So this has a
different focus in the offering to our community. Then let's
say the new sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
Series on the Vanquish does right, different price point, different
level of a hobby. I mean, if if you want
to call it at that level, I guess it's you know,
you're we're all hobbyists with this, but but totally different, different, uh,
I don't even know what the word I'm thinking of here,
but yeah, but how do you feel.

Speaker 1 (01:22:32):
About all the different offerings? I mean, I went, I
went through it early. I'll go through it again real quick.
Three forty four, forty five, three sixty four, sixty five,
sixty X Tier pro Xterior, Elite, Equinox seven, nine hundred Mancore, Simplex, Light, BT,
Ultra Score, Double Score, Triple Score, Legend, Legend two, the
max Apex, the Vortex five, seven and nine. Like, what

(01:22:56):
do you think about all these new h what are
your thoughts on kind of all that offering?

Speaker 2 (01:23:07):
I mean, you know, you and I have talked a
lot offline about this, and and I think you had
prefaced it when you mentioned it earlier in the podcast
that manufacturers may not agree don't agree with our opinions
on it. Is I just feel like there's so much
out there. How do you how do you even wrap
your head around it? You know, you know, the the

(01:23:30):
Legend is is a fantastic machine at a fantastic price
price point for for a specific hobbyist at that level.
Is the two you know? Is it? Is it a
huge upgrade from the Legend? Does it put it into
a different, different level for the thousand dollars. You know,
where where does it all fall? Does it does it

(01:23:52):
muddy the water? I think is is probably the best question.
In addition to why why are we getting all of these.

Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
Machines, I just wonder what the sales are going to
do for the Legend one, the Simplex, BT light, the
you know the score. You know, are there room for
those in the marketplace, for these manufacturers to continue manufacturing

(01:24:24):
you know what I mean? Are they selling enough? You know,
we don't know that, right, We're not manufacturers, But are
they selling enough? You know, will Garrett continue to offer
the five to seven five and seven, right and nine?
Or will they just kind of go, well, guys, look
we're selling eighty percent nines, right, We're not selling any fives,

(01:24:45):
you know what I mean? And I understand their their
their model with it being upgradeable, but are uh updated, upgradable,
up upgradable not updateable upgrade?

Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
There are updated bosses.

Speaker 1 (01:24:57):
But right, and same with the same with the Vanque,
same with you know, all these that have these multiple
step levels.

Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
Now m h yeah, it's just hard to it's hard
to know. It's a lot, you know, U E. Tector says,
so we can. So can we assume this will compete
with the Manicor and D two. I don't believe so
at all. No, I don't think so. I don't think
that's its design. I don't think that's its focus. I

(01:25:27):
think Nata has another steps they can take to do that.
I think that's in the works as well. And I
think they're going to come in at that level, not
that price point of the the Menicores, yeah, but that
that level and introduce something at that level. And just
as my view is that it's a Manicore clone.

Speaker 1 (01:25:49):
Okay, all right, I don't think they're going there. I
don't think they're I think they have another I think
they have more left in the tank two come out
with a higher price point, yep, higher price point, but
still probably if you notice knocked, this big thing is
to we're going to give you the we're gonna give
you the quality, and we're going to give you the
features for less money basically, so you know, to say so,

(01:26:13):
I would think that they have another step in them
to come out with something that they think is going
to rival the Manicor in the and the Dais and
but be just just underneath those price points, you know
what I mean? Yep, And I don't think the Legend
two is is that.

Speaker 2 (01:26:30):
I think I think there's another one in the works. Yeah.
I think it's going to be their best machine currently,
the Legend too. But I do think they have more
room two up the up, the up the top end,
you know what I mean. Mhm. I wanted to just

(01:26:52):
mention here what about the p I note the machine. Gosh,
you know, we heard a lot about that before anything
with the Legend machine. I know they're still it's stile
in the works and and they're probably gonna drop it,
who knows, the unexpectedly all of a sudden, just drop
it on us.

Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
What do they call on that thing?

Speaker 2 (01:27:10):
Oh? The uh uh? Actually I had a video. Oh
the Magnetar. Magnetar knock.

Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
This pulse induction machine is called the Magnetar. And you know,
it's still a ways out, but we'll we'll see, we'll
see when it gets further along and it's intesting and
and all that stuff. But when that comes out, it'll be.

Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
All exciting too, you know what I mean. I think
all the people that machines are going to be Yeah,
that's gonna be cool because they don't play in that market, now,
you know what I mean? They not really.

Speaker 1 (01:27:52):
So they come out with it, it's gonna rival mine Labs,
even though a lot of people are gonna think mine
Labs has the market for so long, they're going to
be the best as right but right knockers shown over
the years them coming out with some really good technology
and some really good machines by listening to the user.

(01:28:14):
So I'm sure they've done that on this magnetar also.

Speaker 2 (01:28:18):
Yeah, yeah, there's a lot going into those for sure.
All right, sticker.

Speaker 1 (01:28:28):
Those that are still hanging in with us, whether they
can type in this time hashtag?

Speaker 2 (01:28:35):
