time right now before we go ahead and drive into it.
Go ahead and do it, but now just talk about
now what we don't understand. If you don't understand or
(05:31):
even know about what's going over there in Africa right now.
There's been a third coup in the past couple of years.
And the first one, I believe was Burkina Faso or Moley,
one of the two, and then the second one was
the other way around. I can't believe I'm not focusing
on them two right now, but I am going to
focus on this third one. This third one is the
one that I actually been waiting for. I didn't want
(05:54):
to talk about it until I seen another African country
actually throw another coup, and I wanted to make sure
that what I saw was what I saw, because what
I saw was I saw Nijer overthrow. They're democratically elected
and if I know you listening to me right now,
you can't see my little my finger quotes or whatever.
(06:17):
Democratically elected presidents and everybody there was, I mean not everybody.
Everybody in the world was kind of upset about it.
And I knew what I was seeing, so I knew
what was going on. And what I saw was it
was the third country that had been exploited by the
(06:40):
European country, corporate corporate country of France, because all of
them were colonized by France at one point in time,
and even though a couple of them gained their independence,
they still were being displed, lauded, financially, economically to the
(07:03):
point where they were Nizier is the poorest country in Africa,
and if it's the poorest country in Africa, you can
guarantee you it's the poorest country in the world. Weget
they're still getting exploited. Why why is the poorest country
in the world being exploited. Well, this is how they feel.
They feel like they were being exploited by the French.
So let's go ahead and jump into a little bit,
(07:24):
but first let's talk about what's actually going on over there. So,
the so so called democratically elected president Bazam Bazoom excuse me,
he was overthrown by the military in Niger and the
Nizier go by the military that overthrown goes by the junta.
(07:48):
And uh it was the junta that put him up
on a house arrest and said that they are taking
over and it would be a peaceful transition. Well what
happened after that is the West got mad. West African nation,
the block echo wise, they got mad and threatened to
(08:14):
go to war with Nizier if they do not not
only release but reinstate this president. So obviously you could
see he has some friends in Africa. But not only that,
but so did the United States, so did England, so
did uk so did France. They said that they should
be that he should be reinstraded. So, oh, you got
(08:37):
French in West Africa and you got friends in in
the West. Here's where it gets a little tricky because
when they was threatened, Burkina, Fassau and Miley came in
and said man if y'all go to war. Man, we
going to war. We're going to back the jeer. So
(08:57):
instead of following through because they gave him, they until
Sunday put it back in or we will be coming
in there kicking down doors. It's Monday, Welcome back to.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
From the South. Nietzcheer remains under threat of military intervention.
On Monday following and morning from the directive of the
Economic Community of West African States after the expiration of
the deadline given to the National Safeguard Council of the
Economic Community of West African States Ekuwas. The council closed
the airspace, mobilized the troops to the borders of the
(09:32):
Houst countries and warned of a joint response. However, the
military intervention agraded to on Friday in the Nigerian capital
by the Western Bloc High Command did not take place.
Aku was reported on Monday that it is preparing a
statement with the next steps and does not rule out
a new visit to New.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
May As matter of fact, this Monday of the following week,
because that was Sunday of last week that they told
them that they were gonna come kicking in Those ain't
nobody come kicking in those yet nobody got gangster. Nobody jumped.
They were bluffing. Come on, man, this is an international crisis.
(10:13):
You can't mean bluffing in the international prices. You feel me,
But you felt like you had a big enough nuts
to actually bluff and you got called out because see what,
you don't understand that these motherfuckers are real killers, these
really real soldiers. They're not just play play rappers talking
about they soldiers on the street with their nine millimeters. No, no, no, no,
(10:35):
these are real military train and guess who trained them.
You would never believe who trained the Nizier Army or
military guess oh, you might know the US.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
So we're out here today, actually right here at the
Infantry School for the Nigerian Army. It's an opportunity for
us to contribute to our capacity building of our partner nation,
build a capacity of one of the the best fighting
forces in the consent of Africa.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
So basically, we're out here training the Nigerian Infantry, one
company at a time. We're focusing on small unit tactics.
We're taking these platoons and they're going out on long
range controls. They're doing raids, ambushes, movement of contact, every
basic soldier, jazz control that infantry, guys knowing love. They
have a regular hospitality. They welcome us here with open honors.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
They're really excited to work with the American Army. I
want to take this time to personally thank the United
States military for actually training the Nigerian Army for actually
going for their freedom and overthrowing and oppressive regime. Thank
you United States Military. Y'all are bamb literally because the
US has been pumping a lot of money into these
years military, not into the economy, not unto the infrastructure,
(11:49):
but into their military. I wonder why they say that, oh,
we need them to help fight al Qaeda and ices
and all this, all this, all this, all this, all
these well, guess what the junta said. You know what,
we're taking the president out of the office and we're
gonna put him on house rest because we can fight
al Qaeda and Ice is better than what he's trying
to do. This is the kicking, This is the real
(12:13):
They ain't winning field goal for me. They have pressed
charges against him for treason, high treason, high treason. It
is to me a big red flag right there. Why
(12:34):
are they hitting him with high treason. They say that
he was giving away and I'm not even talking about
military I'm talking about the citizens now. Matter of fact,
let me let me pull that up so I can
show you what uh the citizens said. Okay, okay, all right,
(12:56):
So check this out.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
It said.
Speaker 1 (13:02):
Still on the streets of the capitol on Monday, they're
talking about the capital of Nijer. Some residents told the
Associated Press they believe Bazoom is guilty crimes for high treason.
Is really what he deserves because this man betrayed Nijer
by stealing all of Nizier's resources and sending them where
(13:25):
he lives here. He's sending them somewhere France, and this
is why they stayed in the economic turmoil that they
are under. I check this out. So the Julta has
faced international pressure to release in re and state Balzoom.
Immediately after the coup, the West African Regional Block ECO
wise gave the regime seven days to return him to
(13:46):
power and threaten to use military force if that did
not happen. The deadline came and went with no action.
So you already lost this. So the military Julia that
sees power in z They say that they're going to
prosecute them to high trees in and undermining the state security.
And since we already know that the citizens want this,
(14:08):
they already believe that he's already been stealing resources and
obviously sending it to France, as we know because Nizere
was one of the country that was colorized by France
and even after they got independence, they was forced to
pay slave tax. Oh you don't believe me, huh, check
that out fourteen African nations. Matter of fact, we're still
forced to pay a slave tax up until at least
(14:30):
twenty fifteen. Now that should be enough right there to
go to war, to throw these people out of my
country and go to war about it. So but they
don't understand is that these people are trying to do
it peacefully. So they're trying to who else is going
(14:51):
to take down the president of a country. It would
have to be the citizens of that country and the
military would have to be on board. So why you
call it get a coup? We're calling it justice because
if he's convicted, Bazoom can face the death penalty, and
that's according to these years penal clothe that already exists
(15:12):
this is before the coup. Now, a spokesperson for the junta,
Colonel Major I'm gonna do ab Draamine I Dreamaine, excuse me,
I'm probably messing his name. I'm sorry, but said on
state television that the military regime had gathered the necessary
evidence to prosecute before a competent national and international authorities
that outsted the president and his local and foreign accomplices.
(15:33):
So they're trying to take this to the extreme. Black people,
take note. You want your nation, you want justice. You
have to get your nation. Your nation has to be
the one to take it in front of the League
of Nations and actually have a case against your oppressor.
But you don't know how to do that. Take note,
they're showing you how to do that. Just want to
(15:54):
put that out there. Anyways. So the Sunday night announcement
that said Brazoon was going to be charged following his
post the post coup
