La giuria, presieduta da Carlo Chicco (giornalista, dj, speaker radiofonico e fondatore di RKO), sarà composta da Tobia Lamare (cantante, musicista, produttore e anima della Lobello Records), Marco Ancona (cantante, compositore, autore, chitarrista, produttore e figura di spicco dell’alternative rock pugliese), Giustina De Iaco (attrice e speaker radiofonica) e Giorgio Consoli (musicista, autore ed attore). Insieme, valuteranno le sei band selezionate tra le quaranta partecipanti alla fase preliminare.
Sul palco si esibiranno:
- Melpi (Brindisi), con la sua esperienza pop.
- Raestavinve (Foggia), un duo cantautorale,
- Violante (Lecce), una rock band,
- Denny Music (Bari), una band indiepop,
- Cristiano Cosa (Taranto), cantautore e polistrumentista,
- Lit Up Fuse (Rutigliano), un gruppo post-punk con influenze elettroniche e hip-hop.
La band vincitrice passerà alla valutazione di una nuova giuria, che selezionerà i dodici finalisti per le esibizioni dell’11 e 12 ottobre a Cavriglia, in Toscana, durante l’Arezzo Wave Love Contest & Festival.
Nel 2024, l’Arezzo Wave Contest ha registrato quasi 900 iscrizioni provenienti da 99 province italiane. Dopo una prima selezione, i partecipanti si sono sfidati in oltre quaranta selezioni live per determinare i venti vincitori regionali. Questo contest si conferma una piattaforma cruciale per scoprire e valorizzare nuovi talenti musicali italiani, grazie al lavoro di ventisette responsabili regionali. Arezzo Wave Contest rimane un evento di grande rilevanza per chi cerca visibilità nel panorama musicale, offrendo un palco ideale per la nuova musica italiana.
La giuria alla fine di una attenta analisi ha decretato la vittoria del tarantino Cristiano Cosa, già noto al pubblico per il suo live al Primo Maggio di Taranto e non solo. Sarà lui a rappresentare la Puglia nel live nazionale che si terrà il 11 e 12 ottobre ad Cavriglia (Arezzo)
