Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, just to be clear, you didn't do it.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We know who did it, Steve, we know, and we
know who spearheaded this cover up.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
You all know if John was beaten up and attacked
in that house.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
Who did it?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We don't know.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
We don't know, and it's not for us to know.
Somebody other than Karen. Somebody other than Karen is responsible
for that, for the killing of John.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
You are listening to the ROBERTA. Glass True Crime Report
putting the true back in true crime from New York City.

Speaker 5 (00:47):
ROBERTA.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Glass is now on the record. Okay, how is everybody?

(01:14):
Hello Tanya, Hello kiddies, nineteen ninety three, Taterbug, nice to
have you back. Thank you for moderating. Hello Kim, Hello everybody.
So yesterday we had a special ten Am roberta Class

(01:39):
True Crime Report interview with John O'Keefe's childhood friend, been
friends for forty years, and that seemed to anger the
Free Karen readers. I've been told to eat shit. I

(02:01):
don't know what else. Whole host of a host of
insults have come my way on X and other places
the comment section, but it particularly angered Aiden Turtle Boy Carney.

(02:23):
So when he came out with a whole host of lies.
So this is just really a short episode to talk
about to correct those lies and also to talk about
his claims of a you know, he brings up the
topic of abuse, and I think it would be a

(02:48):
it's a good segue to what I thought was the
most fascinating takeaway from the interview, which was the whole
history behind the picture of Brendan Cain and John O'Keefe.
Let me just throw it up there for you. So

(03:12):
that has a pretty interesting history, and Brendan talked about
it yesterday. But instead what came out soone clipped a
little portion of the interview on X about Kaylee, John
O'Keefe's niece who'd been has now been has lost three

(03:38):
parental figures, one to get her mother to cancer, her
father to a heart attack, and now her uncle or
her fun uncle uncle to murder. So she the way
she took the stand being a teenage, she chose to

(04:01):
wear Karen Reid's sunglasses and could not be talked out
of it. She said she wouldn't testify otherwise and despite
being really urged not to. I mean, that's the story
behind it. But instead Turtle Boy went crazy. Instead of

(04:21):
talking about the history behind this picture, which I'll talk
about in a second, which is far more fascinating, he
went with this and then he's doing the same so
the same rumor he's accusing me of being innocent s
fraud watched. This is something that Kevin Lenihan of Yellow
Cottage Tales made up when I made a critical video

(04:47):
of him hosting a convicted killer who's previously on death row.
That's how heinous his crime was on his channel and
really presenting him platforming in some kind of profiler. Instead
of answering the critique, he said that it was a

(05:07):
personal attack on him and he doesn't know what he did.
You know he did that what me? Kind of thing
to the audience, very dishonest, And now Turtle Boy is
just with his great investigation going and using the same
Kevin Lenihan smear. It it implies that I'm dishonest with

(05:32):
my audience, that I do things under different names, and
I will promise you that I only do things under
this name. I have what account? If you see I
mean you might even have seen like some of my comments,
you'll see them under other videos. What do YouTube account?

(05:54):
I comment under that I have one X account, I
revert a class through crime report. There's to be no
confusion about who I am. Would I would I make
remarks one hold on, one hot minute, I gotta let
my cat out hold on. Yeah. So I guess the

(06:48):
best way to do this is to play the clip first,
and then I'll play the turtle voice clip and we
can we cannot talk about it? What a minute? Why

(07:15):
did I think I had this like up right away? Okay,
here we go, Here we go? Or you think is it?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Why do you say she wouldn't speak.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
To them they're beneath her.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
She I mean, so Brendan's made a remark about why
Karen Reid. He made a remark that Karen Reid would
never talk to her supporters. In any other circumstance you
can she she was.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
She was high end or high maintenance, however you want
to look at it, you know, but she was big
on on on brands and labels and and style and fashion,
and I mean, you could take the best example is
in the first trial, Johnny's niece intentionally wore a pair
of sunglasses on the stand that at first I didn't
know what she was doing. And as it turns out,

(08:03):
there were like six hundred dollars sunglasses that Karen left
behind when she fled the murdercy So you know, again,
six d sunglasses, great if you can do it, but
that was that That to me kind of epitomizes she
She fancies herself to be kind of a higher echelon,
higher societal figure, even before she got all the notoriety

(08:25):
she's received from from this event.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Is she okay? So there's that, and then Aiden Carney
chose to totally spend this story. So this is an
angry teenager. You noticed she didn't go to anyone's homes
and she's never gone to Karen Read's home, which is
actually more appropriate, and harassed her never publicly said one

(08:56):
word about her other than testifying when she was subpoena
to h So here's his his remarks.

Speaker 6 (09:06):
Haailey, furbush thing real quick because I found an interesting
piece of audio today I want to share with you guys.
Right the ginger there, Brendan Kane, let me check this out.
What is this a Twitter account called? All right? I
pulled this Twitter account.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Up, so, being the great researcher that he is, it's
not even going to listen to the whole interview. He's
just going to find a tiny little clip on Twitter.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
So this is Brendan Keane real quick, the the ginger
that's in court for this. He's always in court with them.
He went on and did an interview with ROBERTA. Glass
because he's so desperate to somebody take up his cause.
And he is a fucking moron. And ROBERTA. Glass is

(10:17):
one of the most vile, disgusting old menopausal hags you'll
ever see in your life. She calls me a rapist,
like all the time. She's just desperate for She constantly
she runs that Innocent Fraud Watch blog that nobody reads,
and she's constantly spamming on Twitter, and nobody responds.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
I do not run Innocence Fraud Watch blog. And I
find it curious that apparently Aiden Carney is the only
one who thinks that he's getting younger every year. He
actually ages and reverse guys, she just an idiot.

Speaker 6 (10:54):
Just listened to what he says here about Kaylie Furbush.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Is she a kind of snoppy person personally?

Speaker 3 (11:01):
It is it?

Speaker 2 (11:05):
I mean, why do you say she wouldn't speak to them?

Speaker 7 (11:07):
They're beneath her.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
She she I mean, you can she she was she
was high end, her high maintenance. How everyone to look
at it, you know, but she was big on on
on brands and labels and and style and.

Speaker 6 (11:19):
Fashion talk about you.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
Can take the best example is in the first trial,
Johnny's niece intentionally wore a pair of sunglasses on the stand,
and at first.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
I didn't know what she was doing.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
And as it turns out, there were like six hundred
dollars sunglasses that Karen left behind when she fled the murdercy.
So you know, again, six hundred sunglasses. Great, if you
can do it. That was that That to me kind
of epitomizes she. She fancies herself to be kind of
a higher echelon, higher societal figure, even before.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
She got all the notoriety she's received from from the.

Speaker 6 (11:58):
So Brendan is saying that they had this fifteen year
old girl or sixteen year old girl old she was
testabout before she got.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
All these.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
No one had, no one made She was fifteen or
sixteen years old when she took the stand, and she
made her own decisions, and you can say they were unwise,
but in the large scheme of things, when you've had

(12:34):
your the only parental figure that you have left in
life murdered and you have to testify in front of
your murderer. I think it's a pretty small a small
troll if you want. I was it was discouraged and
she insisted that's the story. No one made her. Now

(12:58):
he's going to spin it. The fantasy starts spinning. Now
the story cut teller comes out and he's going to
spin this the way he wants to spin it.

Speaker 6 (13:08):
From this, so Brendan Kane is saying that they had
this fifteen year old girl or sixteen year old girl,
old Jewish test about where Karen reads sunglasses.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
No, Brendan kan saying, the only way he knew Karen
Reid bought this stuff is when he was to conclude
in that those were Karen sunglasses and that they were
very pricey. No, there's not some kind of shadowy, shadowy

(13:46):
victim's family. The victim's family member is this shadowy group
taking advantage of a fifteen or sixteen year old and
making her do things.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
That Karen Reid left behind at the house as a
way to troll Karen Reid during her trial. This is
what he's saying, this is the.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Same Karen Reid who said she wasn't bothered at all
by Michael Proctor's mean texts, So you know it hit deep.

Speaker 6 (14:20):
About the child. I mean, this is how fucking low
these people are that they're getting a child to troll
Karen Reid at a murder trial by wearing her own sunglasses.
And they've lied to this girl, They've abused her for years.

(14:40):
That's what you're doing.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
A lie to the way you lie to your audience,
the way you lie about me. No one lied. Karen
Reid chose to involve instead of calling nine one one.
She's the one who chose to walk into Cayley's room

(15:03):
for something in the morning, it was four thirty in
the morning, and just shake her and then walk out
and then tell her something's happened to John and make
her start calling all these other people. Why was it
necessary Turtle Boy to call all these other people? Why
didn't she just call nine one one? Why was it

(15:28):
necessary to involve Jen McCabe. She really wanted to involve
Michael Camerano and Catherine Camerano. Why was it necessary to
bring Why couldn't she go out and look for him?
If she wanted to look for him. Why did she
need other people, I'll tell you why. She needed to

(15:52):
mix it all up. Otherwise, she needed other people to
call nine one one, like Jen McCabe. She needed other
people to point the finger at. Otherwise, it's just Karen
Reid's standing there. Yep, I dropped him off at the
house and I've just cracked to smither smashed the smither
ring's tail light. My tail light pieces, microscopic pieces are

(16:16):
embedded in John O'Keefe's shirt all over the crime scene.
She's lucky that it's snowed and they couldn't really see them.
That point shoes flung off straw from her drink that
he was holding for her found at the crime scene. Otherwise,
it's just Karen Reid there.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
Brendan Kane, you're a fucking piece of shit, abuser, that's
what you are. You use fucking children. How low.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Brendan Kane would have had no idea that they were
Karen to read sunglasses and had nothing to do with this.
But they're so mad that anyone else, even on my
tiny channel, someone else talks with the Karen Reid movie
coming out, the Karen Read book. They're so mad that
the victim's family friend would talk and share their opinion,

(17:12):
so threatening to them that they have to make up
stories like this. Strangely, Aidan Carney's an accused grapist. So
you want to talk about abuse.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Can you be you maggot, ginger puke, fucking burning hell
with the rest of them. God, your fucking low life
maggot to say something to do something like that about
a fucking kid. And I'm gonna tell you about when
I see you, Brenda, Because'm gonna se you. You know that, right.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
I hope you do tell them about it, because you'll
be wrong, and you'll be in the wrong. But I mean,
taking a page from freaking Kevin Lennan's book, I mean
Kevin lenna had started this rumor. This is a great
research of the Free Karen readers.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
I'm some strong words for you when I see pal,
because you are a fucking maggot and I cannot wait
to tell you that to your fucking face, you fucking loser.
You think that's funny, you think that's cute, making a
child troll like using this opportunity of murder trial or
troll the defendant. The fuck is wrong with you? God,
you're fucking the worst tragedy of John O'Keefe's life is

(18:28):
the people he was surrounded by. Poor fucking guy, Poor
fucking guys.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, it's a poor guy to have people who just
come to his murder trial and have to have to
deal with the harassment and possibly have their whole lives
exposed on the all their privacy taken from them from
the killers groupies. Poor them, Poor them, these people that

(18:58):
insist on going anyway. Poor John O'Keefe to have such
terrible friends that they travel not just one trial and
two trials in a civil trial they have to go
to because their friend was murdered.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
Mom's peg leg, his brother's over there, you know, fucking
it's just horrible, horrible He's got these retarded friends, John
Jackson and Brendan King. Brennan Kane said on Dateline that
they all liked Karen and all of a sudden they
didn't like Karen. Make up your mind, make up no.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
What he said was he was fooled by Karen. Said
the red flags were the hair, and he chose to
ignore them. That's what he said. So I can't believe Eve,
I have to deal with this again. But it's not

(20:04):
like it's a secret that I'm not innocent fraud. Watch
that were two separate people, because I actually made a
video of a public a public service announcement for me.
When did I make this? July seventeen, twenty twenty four, Okay,

(20:25):
over a year ago, having to deal with Kevin Lenehan's
lies and smears.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
You guys are going to send me that link and
then I'll show it to you guys, or it could
be on my Twitter too.

Speaker 8 (20:51):
Do you guys have the link to murder by Maestro?

Speaker 4 (20:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (20:57):
The attack by Roberta was very out of left fiet,
and I guess it continues too where strangely, I think
she's the one that's behind the Innocence Fraud project And wow, Hi.

Speaker 6 (21:13):
I'm Innocence Forward Watch, not Roberta Glass, as you can hear.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
And I'm also not the Innocence Forded project.

Speaker 8 (21:25):
She put a video up something.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
After I made that video. He just keeps doing it
because it was useful to him to paint me as
someone who's dishonest, who does things under secret names. I mean,
I'm flattered that he thinks that I can keep a
full time blog going and do my show and do
everything else that I do. I'm very flattered that he

(21:48):
thinks that one person, I am a one woman band.
Everything you see I do here, hit video, everything else.
Flattered that he thinks I can do all that, But
I do it all under my name, and I wouldn't
see the point of doing it under a secret name either.
But apparently I don't know. This still went on from

(22:12):
the free Karen readers and the anti Karen readers. Kevin
started this smear and it continues to this day.

Speaker 8 (22:19):
When he said the link to it that has I
don't know, only like eight subscribers or something to it.
But it was trying to say that I'm lying about
the facts and about the time of the first voicemail
that Karen left John, but I didn't lie. It was
twelve thirty seven and the second one was at twelve

(22:43):
forty two. There was no message in that voicemail, but
that's what I said. So, but it's really strange that
she has I don't know, she has a strange, obsessive,
special obsession with me, and I don't really know why
because I was never anything but nice to her, and.

Speaker 7 (22:55):
I have to say.

Speaker 8 (23:03):
I was not so people in my house would listen
to her channel, so I heard some of it. I
thought she had a nice voice, but I thought the
commentary was generally pretty vapid, just being honest, so I

(23:24):
didn't listen to it myself for analysis, And I thought
her commentary was also like even here in chat when
she was with us, it took more the role of cheerleader,
like she was cheering for the prosecution, and she really
didn't have like I don't like that approach, because listen,
if you can't criticize the prosecution, that's unreasonable. Oh my god,

(23:52):
nobody's perfect.

Speaker 2 (23:54):
Right, So that was this was a I was really
thought it was pretty beyond the pale to bring on
a convicted killer and have him go through cases of
some kind of profile. That was my issue. But you know,
just this very similar stuff that you deal with when

(24:15):
they don't want to actually talk about the things that
you're saying. They attack the person say, don't listen to her,
don't listen to her, I'm vapid. My commentary is a
vapid Okay, So did I miss anything in that that

(24:43):
I wanted to say about that, I don't think. So
it's just kind of par for the course. This Okay,
going back to stop sharing this actually going back to
the interview. This is I thought the most fascinating part
of the interview is where we talked about I asked

(25:06):
about the this picture. Hold on while it's spinning and
spending and spending, I guess I'll just bring this up, hopefully,
this picture and what was how was that picture done?
And he has like a long wind up basically saying
as adults, you know, we're adult men, we don't take

(25:27):
you know, we're not taking selfies of each other. There's
not too many pictures, you know that we take over
the years, we just enjoyed each other's company. John has
like an interesting history. Do you want to do you
want to talk about that? Like how that picture was taken?

Speaker 1 (25:43):
Yeah, so you know when all this happened and people
are looking for you get pictures of you as as
I don't know, this is like a male thing. And
and the fact that we didn't have cell phones in
our pockets to take pictures every five minutes. But like
we weren't like taking polarid pictures of ourselves like in

(26:03):
high school or you know, at a bar in college.
Like it just we weren't documenting the stuff we were doing.
So a lot of the pictures that I was able
on earth either came from my mom's closet from the
time we were four to the time we were twelve,
from birthday parties, and then I'm actually really thankful that
I have this picture you're referring to, which is the
last picture we ever took again, one of not very many,

(26:26):
but I kind of forgot about it a little bit
and the context, but it was we took a picture
on Lansdown Street. It was the last Red Sox game
we ever went to. It was the fall of the
Fall of twenty one. And the other piece with Johnny
was there was always great parking. He'd always eat great parking.

(26:49):
DPD would take care of their own on the parking.
As we go to Fenway, we have a good spot.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
That's another lie that the free Care readers are spreading
that they hadn't talked in years. And as for being
an attention seeker, So after the hearing yesterday, I called
up Brenda Gate and I said, do you want to
come on? And he was kind of really like uh uh.
I was like, really, come on, I gotta even have to, like,

(27:17):
you know, pushed him just a little bit. I was like,
come on, just like ten minutes. I asked for ten
minutes and he gave me an hour. So it was
very kind of him to come on, but it was
entirely entirely my doing, certainly not something that he was
looking for or asking for. But he also did a

(27:38):
Good Morning America before this. So when your friend is murdered,
you know your their voice. That's why you feel you
have you feel like you have to show up. This
is also for the family. You have to show up

(28:00):
because it has been made entirely about Karen Reid. So
the reason you sit in court is so that people
remember John O'Keefe. So without speaking up, he's totally forgotten
out of the story. And there's so much more to this,

(28:27):
you know, victims, family members and friends were asked not
to talk the first trial, which is a real disadvantage.
During the trial, and.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
We went into the landsdown bar and he wanted to
take a picture and I'm sure I said something like
why what are you doing? And his response was essentially
he had to prove to Karen where he was.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
And who he was with.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
I found that very odd and that was like my
first red flag where my spidy senses were tangling, like, wait,
what you know. I know some couple share location and such.
I share my location with my wife for see.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
That's not sharing location. Yeah, he had to prove to
Karen where he was. And this isn't the first time
innocent straadwatch brought up. I mean, you can look at
their last text messages back and forth before she killed them.

(29:36):
But on the same day, on the last day of
his life, John O'Keefe is sending a picture I'm with
my dad right here. So this was one twenty eight
to two thousand and two, two forty five fifty one.

(30:03):
So this was the thing that she made John O'Keefe
do send pictures to prove where he was and you can.
And why we call this abusive so many things, but
one of the things is when he says stop calling,
she has no respect for that. She just keeps calling,
text messaging I can't talk now, insisting on on not

(30:31):
respecting his his barriers, right his bounds, and just consistently
insisting on contact. It's all signs of an abuser. He
had asked her to leave and said the relationship as
run of scores, and she refused, and when he went

(30:54):
behind a closed door for privacy. He was banging on it,
demanding to come in. Hank Brennan talks about this having
the last word, but it's really more than having the
last word. It's I want this now, I want contact now,

(31:16):
I want interaction now. I don't care about your once
needs or your boundaries. This is things that abusers do.
And it had Karen Reid been a man and John
o'keef been a woman, this would have been entirely tried
as a DV case. Everyone would have gotten what that's about. Oh,

(31:43):
she wanted to leave him. That's the time that when
you're are most in danger, so we know that. They argued.
She said she was angry at O'Keefe and she had

(32:05):
the and she wanted to teach him a lesson. And
that's how she taught him a lesson by reversing into
him with her foot seventy five percent down on the
gas Bedal didn't touch the break after she hit him,

(32:32):
just kept going and she said she felt she hit something,
so meaning that's an experiential memory. It goes through you.
You feel when your car hit something, you feel it. It
goes all through your body. So that's a little something
on abusers. I have to get more up to date

(32:54):
on it. I've read Lindsay Gatani's It's amazing that she
did that herself, her asking the court for relief in
terms of Aidan Carney and his lie smears and not
respecting the various court orders in her case. But that

(33:18):
continues on. Everybody thought that the charges would be dropped today,
as far as Aidan Carney and Lindsay Gatani, but that
case goes on and a new prosecutor is going to
be assigned because College Scros has stepped down, So keeping
it very brief for today once again having to I mean,
