In the city of Drakenholde, the ancient dragon Vorthyrax the Crown Beneath stirs underneath the streets, threatening to return after 5,000 years of imprisonment. As the Seals of Vaeloris begin to weaken, a group of unlikely adventurers must uncover secrets, survive political intrigue, and decide if they’ll be the realm’s salvation—or its doom.

🎲 Welcome to Episode 2 of Same Crit Different Day – a D&D 5e actual play podcast set in the world of Vaeloris, using the new 2024 ruleset! After surviving the chaos beneath the Market District, our party finally resurfaces—only to find Drakenholde forever changed. The destruction left in the wake of the Ashen Scales’ attack has shaken the city to its core. In this episode, the group meets Sergeant Garruk of the Drakenholde Guard and begins to uncover the deeper forces at play. A familiar face appears—Audrey, a fellow student of Vorcal’s at the Academy, bringing both comfort and new questions. As the party prepares to report their findings, they make a clever move: copying the mysterious map they found underground, just in case. Along the way, they delve deeper into the city’s haunted history—learning about the Seals of Vaeloris, the Order of the Seals, and the grim legacy of the Dragonfall Crusade.
