Speaker 2 (00:18):
We got some one or something crawling around out here.
You see what it was?

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Was it a person or an animal or.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I can't know. I know that my underway game on
and I did that with a Glenn be the thing
running across the goodbye man.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
There's something whip by the name. I don't know what
it was.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Back in two thousand and five, we set out with
one goal to give voice to the mystery and those
who pursue it. Sasquatch Experience podcast has been your go
to source for serious Bigfoot discussion, where we separate fact
from folklore. Always grounded in research and respect. We've interviewed eyewitnesses,
experts since to the like because understanding Bigfoot isn't just

(01:02):
about belief, It's about the journey. Nearly two decades later,
we're still chasing shadows and sharing stories. The search never stopped.
Welcome to the Sasquatch Experience.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Hello, get somebody out.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Here, and good evening. Everyone, Welcome to the Sasquatch Experience
for Monday, December eighth, two thousand five. I'm Sean the
Ford Shop for er. He's Vancenesatave, that's James Baker. We

(01:47):
got Matt Nor down to the bottom and Henry May
tapping off the square and it is great to be
back here, everyone whole here tonight come me a what
a as what? No? A bonafie? Oh, let's not kick
it off the season on two b jolly, it's a

(02:08):
great time of year guys as we kick off our well,
you know it, our third Can you believe we've been
doing this for three years and we lost time? I know, right?
How about it? Three years we've been doing the third
annual Last Minute Shopper's Guide for the special Squatch in
Your Life episode and hopefully this episode helps you folks

(02:30):
go out there and find nifty gifties for your special
loved one. But before I liked that nifty gifties. I
stole that. Yeah, I stole that from the Office, from the.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Office, but still I like it. Nifty gifties. I don't
remember that from the Office episode.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
But nonetheless, but anyhow, with that being said, I didn't
want to take a moment and pass on the news
that esteemed and legendary Pennsylvania Bigfoot researcher friend Saluga passed
away bad. I got to know Fred pretty well, not
as good as others, but Fred and I always had
a good back and forth, a good banter. And I

(03:07):
appreciate guys like Fred because they keep you grounded right right.
And if he had a challenge, he had a challenge
for you, and he put it out there. And so
while he and I might not have agreed on what
Bigfoot was, I did respect him.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I saw him last year at Bill Rigby's conference and
actually gave him a hug because he was just reeling
from losing his daughter. And I'll tell you right, folks,
parents should never bury their kids, you know, rather like
somebody or not, there's a moment where you're human and
friend and I liked each other, so that's you know,
it wasn't I'm not saying that by any means, but

(03:44):
I'm just saying, like, you know that that hur hit
him pretty hard. And you know, I don't know. I
don't want to dwell too much on it because I
do want this to be a happy show. But we
will miss Fred rest in peace, friend, and it will
be a happy show. And you know what I gave
thought to that fact that he just brought up, Sean.
He gets to be with his daughter, and I know
he was close with his daughter, so he gets to

(04:05):
be with her. And that's a holiday gift that is
probably bigger than any of us could ever receive. Right, Absolutely,
that's a good point. Man's We have friend Seluga passed
away and we send our condolences to his friends, his family,
and you know, just wants to get guys a lots
of the one of many we've taken this year.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Yeah, right, this year has been horrible for losing some
great people in this community.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Yeah, it really has. And I'll be glad. You know,
we're just a few weeks away from a new year,
so let's hope twenty twenty six is better than the
ship storm we've suffered right this year? Right, so along.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Lauren Coleman, we're not having a Betty White situation this year.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
No, no, come on, stop stop it would you say?
It's yeah? Stop all right? Yea does turn one hundred
in a few days, so we want to watch that's true,
Annyhow let's get off this subject of death and onto
something a little bit happier, feeding your neighbor. Watch Out Hunger, folks,

(05:12):
going till twelve twenty, and then that's it. We're putting
the cap on it. Yeah, I know some of you
are probably hearing about it, but I'm not tired of
talking about it because we still have a lot of
people to feed, and it's getting to be the holiday
season and everybody deserves a special holiday meal. So help
us raise that money, folks through Feeding America. The money
doesn't come to Sean, The money doesn't go to Advance,
it doesn't go to mask Baker. Nope, it goes to

(05:35):
Feeding America. One hundred percent goes to that. The T
shirt donation will be going out on the twentieth as well,
so definitely one folks to get the benefit of Squatch
Out Hunger. And who knows what we're going to do
next year, but I've been happy with it. People seem
to be excited. Baker threw it into a prompt the
other day and got a really good uh recognition from

(05:58):
AI about squad, which is pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
So you know what, the Squatch Out Hunger T shirt
is actually a really cool T shirt because it's silk screened.
It's not an iron on patch. It's silk screened, and
it's very comfortable. It's a cool shirt. It's a cool shirt.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
I picked the materials that we put the shirts on,
so I just don't let you print on anything. I
don't know. I do care for your comfort as well.
For me out there there, I exactly only the best
Chinese made apparel. Always say I'm cool. Shot that much.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
Labor and leads.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
This is gonna sound terrible. I care about feeding people
and those kids are making a living. So let's just
get well. It is all these items tonight we're going
to be talking about is probably going to be influenced
by tariffs or child labor, so let's just go on
down with either way doesn't matter, right. But guys, this
is the part where we get to talk about some
things that we wanted to recommend to our audience. And

(07:07):
I'll kick one off for everybody, and you're going to
one off. I'm gonna kick it off, Okay, yeah, okay.
This is a family show, guys, family show. So I
talked about this on the last show just a little bit.
But this book here Essential Wilderness Navigation, and this was
a guy baker turned me on too for this his

(07:29):
YouTube videos. Craig Cattle, author of the Ultimate Wilders Gear
and the Nature Reliant School. This guy has some really
great videos out on YouTube. He has a great channel,
and this book is phenomenal. It comes with the great
map from the ug USGS, so it teaches you how
to read them, teaches you what to do when your

(07:50):
GPS gives you the middle finger, your compass wants to
kill itself. He teaches you the way to survive in
the wilderness, at least how to navigate.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
And that's a I had a create cancite, had to
create fire.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yeah, twenty one ninety nine. It's a little bit more
than your expensive books. It's made a great material. Every page, Matt,
you'd appreciate it. It's like water resistant pages. I like
that me too. And this is a small enough to
fit in your bag. So folks, do yourself to justice.
Get the book, check it out, and we'll be of course,
we'll post this in the show notes links well Essential

(08:24):
wilderness Navigation. Pick up a copy. Nice veras to go next?
Who wants to go next? Ohkay me? Oh well, hold on,
let's get Henry go before he jumps off.

Speaker 5 (08:37):
Go yeah, go ahead, Henry, I have some suggestions for
gifts for Christmas.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
All right, Blue Ray, go Blu Ray.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Especially for the big flitter in your life.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Go Blue have three Blu Rays.

Speaker 5 (08:52):
I highly recommend. I've got Legend of Buggie Creek Blu
Ray with extra including commentary from Lyle Blackburn. Nice and
there before seeing Out takes Harry and the Hendersons from
Small Town Monsters the Siege of Eight Canyon.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
Well use the same suit stop big stop.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Siege of Eight Canyon was a really well done production.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Come on then, Yeah, I was gonna we were going
to do a future show on that, but I'm glad
that everybody had that same experience. Siege of a Canyon.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
Top notchm Sure.

Speaker 2 (09:41):
We'll have some more Small Town Monsters uh recommendations here
as we go through. But you know, since we're on
the topic, we have another episode of Investigation Bigfoot coming
out here this week. It's already come out. If you're
a squad member, I believe, And if you're not a
squad member, well, what another gift to give your your
the big Foot in your Life. Small Town Monsters dot
com sign them up and get them exclusive content and

(10:05):
uh releases before the general populace. So go out and
do that small time Monsters dot com and let Matt
and Sean Gracier screen once again.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
And justin review, and I should send a picture of
this in our chat. Is you know who got more
screen time than either of us?

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Truck? Your truck?

Speaker 6 (10:31):
Yeah, my f one with the superow every single shot
it's in there, So that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
It's definitely the start of the show.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Matt usually does the driving and I do the commentary.
So like his truck made the made the cut. I
love it did it did even better than the old truck.
So it's a lot more rooming. Yeah, absolutely, we have
a lot of so folks, if you want to get
yourself your you know, you know, squatter in your life something,

(11:07):
especially getting a for f one fifty.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
There you go, that'll get Yes, indeed.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I do have to say that somebody posted in the
comments as the first time they ever seen somebody hug
someone through a truck door.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
Hug.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
I have a hog. I'm a hug. Yeah, now we
know that.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, I still have h I still have marks on
my waist from the last tug that he gave me
so Yeah, that's how that works.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Yeah, Brian Corbin wanted to add that Matt Napp our
good friend Matt Napp over at Big and Crossroads. His
shirts are excellent quality. They are, and Matt is a
dear friend of mine. Love Matt. Go out support his
podcast and get his shirts Bigfoot Crossroads. All right, Baker,

(11:59):
you were all excited gesticulating wildly, So why don't you
go ahead and show what you were going to give?
So there.

Speaker 7 (12:07):
This month I had to replace some trail cameras, so
I bought a re saying, I said, are saying not
a wreck?

Speaker 8 (12:15):
Okay, name is runs on simple triple A batteries. Uh,
takes a nice get takes a nice memory card. I
put these out for.

Speaker 7 (12:26):
Six months at a time, and when I come back
it matters what activity is much they're phil but a
lot of times they'll last out long out there in
the rain.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
The only problem I had the last one I.

Speaker 7 (12:37):
Had was the strap broke at one point, and I
think that's just from the cold and the heat and
that over the summer of the winter. But Na Jim,
it runs about ninety nine bucks. They have some other ones.
I started out with something that were simple as forty.
Make sure when you look at them, realize how far
away you want to be from the whatever you're trying

(12:58):
to look at, because you don't need one that's four
hundred megapixels or blah blah blah or all these.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
Extra things if you're gonna just look at stuff.

Speaker 7 (13:06):
Like I use mine to make sure nobody's coming down
the driveway, and if they do, then I have a
picture of them.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
It doesn't try to do more than ten feet. So
therefore a twelve to twenty four megapixel is fine, you know, Okay,
Always make sure.

Speaker 7 (13:21):
You look at visual zoom, not or sorry, optical zoom,
not digital zoom, because all digital zoom is.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
Another word for cropping.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Yeah. Right.

Speaker 7 (13:30):
The second thing I got, I want this in a
prize of work, and I get stupid Hamer not to
fall on me. This might need a little bit of
a I know you guys have seen some of my tools,
but this is really nice. It's a hammer. It's a
hammer with a wrench and it has a screwdriver. There's
also a firestick in here. Whether they call that matt

(13:52):
little rod thing.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Right, yeah, I can't Yeah, a flint stick right now?

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Yeah, basically a rod.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yes, yeah, so that's why.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
Then this is simple. It comes a little pouch. I'll
leave all mine in my truck in a big bright
orange bag. So that way then if something happens, I
know exactly how to grab for it.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
But a little too like this.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
I think it was like fifteen dollars on Amazon. But
like this is simple and a nice thing is if
you're ever in some kind of problem where your truck
goes into the water, you know, use the hammer to
get yourself.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Out and a snorkel. Right, can I use it again?

Speaker 4 (14:31):
Invading people?

Speaker 1 (14:33):
All right, so let me ask you bake on the
trail cam. You said three triple A batteries.

Speaker 4 (14:40):
No, I said, it takes triple A batteries.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Okay, So are they okay? So are they rechargeable or
are they just standard?

Speaker 6 (14:49):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (14:50):
Triple A's well odd fact And I learned this for
many years of working at radio shack. You never put
rechargeable batteries and stuff that you ignore for a long period.

Speaker 7 (15:01):
Of time because these quicker.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
This is why I'm making right.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
And also the fact is they have more tendency when
they're out in.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
The weather to leak.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
Okay, so you want to use a regular battery. I
know that sucks, you know, but we're rechargeable. Is a
rechargeable is great for like Walkman's things. I got stuff
you change out regularly. Something you lead the batteries in
the cold, and the heat will affect the rechargeable battery quicker.

Speaker 4 (15:29):
Then it will be a regular battery.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Gotcha, Okay, got a little.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Bit much more, but you get more out of it.
It doesn't deteriorate your project.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Well, It's kind of why I was asking, because you know,
sometimes in my personal space I have issues with batteries,
going back and forth between rechargeable and standard battery. And
I noticed that, you know, just a standard energizer battery
at a triple A seems to last much longer than

(16:04):
a rechargeable because it's not being exposed to the rechargeable
aspect of it. And I don't know if your cam
has a panel on it, a solar panel to recharge
a battery or not.

Speaker 7 (16:17):
I didn't see an option for that, but it wasn't
a feature I was looking for when I bought it.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Sorry I could, But what I found is is that
in general, like I get mine.

Speaker 7 (16:27):
Their their best buy batteries right, because I got a
discount because that's where I were understandable.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
That's why I buy a lot of stuff from them.
But at the end of the day, those batteries seem
to last.

Speaker 7 (16:40):
Like I said, is I think one time at one
point me and fork I had a camera per for
almost a year before we checked it in the battery.

Speaker 2 (16:48):
That's crazy. Wow, that's crazy. A go ahead, and mad,
I'm sorry. I was going to say.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
We all have to remember though, that if you're putting
a game came out in an area with bears, particularly
black bears, they really like the smell and the taste
of those batteries.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
So and is it the batteries or is it the plastic,
the the housing of the camera.

Speaker 3 (17:17):
I am hearing from more people that it is the batteries.

Speaker 7 (17:21):
Really is it because the acid smells like citrus?

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I don't know, but that would be a good hypothesis.

Speaker 7 (17:30):
Just because most of your I was watching this show
about how they used to have batteries in ancient Egypt,
and a.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Lot of it was based on citrus.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
They hold an electrical charge, but also some of the
battery acid.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
A lot of acids have a citrusy kind of thing.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
To them right, and the bears nose.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
I learned this from Cocaine Bear. But the bears knows can.

Speaker 7 (17:58):
Absorb and smell from a longer distance of anything else.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
They also interesting. Listen, Cocaine Bear's got to go on
the list for if you had not seen Cocaine Bear,
what am I doing it?

Speaker 3 (18:15):
Right? So?

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Yeah, what have you been doing with your wife? Like?

Speaker 4 (18:23):
Forest rangers should never carry guns?

Speaker 2 (18:26):
What was her name? Margot? I don't know. It was
the best movie she's ever done.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
She killed more people than the Bear, Robbie, Margo Martindale, Margotdale, Martindale.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah, she was phenomenal. Margot was in something else?

Speaker 10 (18:46):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Is it wrong? No, it's not wrong to Margot anyhow,
we digress. Who's next? Who's up next on the list?
I'll take one? Okay. There is two manufacturers of.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
A one hundred watt, one thousand and seven hundred lumens
flash light.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
And it's and it's uh, it's a torch. Okay.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
It's touted as the world's brightest flashlight and with the
magnifying lens on it, it can produce four thoy one
hundred lumens, which is enough to point at firewood and
start a fire. But boy, let me tell you, this
thing will light up the woods. I mean, it lights

(19:42):
up the woods. And it is definitely the world's brightest
flashlight that I've ever seen. As far as distance is concerned.
It can be seen from five miles away easily. From
five miles away, it's got a ten mile distance. But
from five miles away, you're lighting it up. And if

(20:04):
there's something in your area that is creeping around your campsite,
I would use this thing because if it gets close
enough to you, well guess what, you can set it
on fire. It's like it's like a lightsaber.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
I want one. I want one, now, don't don't.

Speaker 7 (20:24):
Just just a disclaimer, if you have to go out
in the woods to pee, don't use it to find it.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
No, no, I'll no.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
You don't want to circumcise yourself. No, no, no, no,
that would be bad. But yeah, I've seen several demonstrations
in unsolicited videos of these torch lights, and it's not
promoting the company itself. It's just promoting or it's actually

(20:56):
just showing what this thing actually does. It's like throwing
the sunlight into the forest when you're out in the dark. Yeah,
that definitely makes me feel much safer. If there's something
looming around your campsite, you want to light it up,
and you can light it up and you can start
a campfire with this thing. So kudos to that. That's

(21:20):
a great gift, and it's relatively inexpensive. It's under fifty bucks.
So there you go. Give that to a loved one
that loves to go out camping and squatching and under
fifty bucks? Are you kidding me? This thing is worth it?

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Actually, I love that because you know, varying budgets guys,
you know, taking into consideration, that's a pretty good area too,
you know, for that gift exchange, you know, inexpensive gift vans,
that's a good.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
Call, right, Yeah, I want one along with some great
night vision goggles that gets a little bit more. Are expensive,
but yeah, who needs the night vision if you can just.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Light it up, light it up before we take our break.
One of the things you could give your folks that
you love really near and dear is a subscription to
our Patreon starting as little as two Yes, and we
don't penalize if you pay for the whole year. We know, so.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
If you go to if you go to sas squatch
Experience dot com and and you click on the uh
the pro what's the what's the page for the squatch
squatch out? Yes, and and we all hear the train coming.

(22:46):
I hear the train coming, but anyway, yeah, and then
you can squatch out hunger.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
That's right. And while we have that beautiful train coming through,
that's the perfect time. Let's go take a look at
the big foot bullhorn for this no oh boy, oh
boy NEOs teen a symbo redneck type. He was at

(23:14):
my bird feeder. I said, get bigfoot.

Speaker 9 (23:19):
He shows up about twice a week, messed.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
With my feeters because I put peanut butter out with
that bird seed. He's out there licking on him. He
likes moving, not chunky. It hurts us gums.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
They've never found one bigfoot, but they know what kind
of peanut.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
Butter bigfoot like.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
Ah, yes, peanut butter. I like peanut butter, just not
in that way. Shut it, baker, I know what you're thinking. Anyway,
Good day to you all. I hope uh the sound
of our voices tickles your inter ear with joy. After all,
it is the joyous season, and there's nothing like the

(23:58):
gift that keeps on giving all year long, like the
sound of Seawan's voice, those soothing tones. So moving into
a Bigfoot report from last year October actually, and since
I'm not good at math, and for those of you
that are not good at math, that would be twenty
twenty four. But in Peoria, Illinois, you know, Peoria sounds

(24:24):
like something you should have an ointment for. In Peoria, Illinois,
which is central in the state, there has been another
sighting of what has been referred to as the Coal
Hollow Monster spelled colle in case you're wanting to do
some research now. Originally, this creature was first seen in

(24:50):
nineteen seventy two by several witnesses. And this creature is
of a white or a light gray color, standing at
about seven feet tall. Sometimes it's been seen on a
road cross, which is typical. But this goes back to

(25:11):
nineteen seventy two and then again in twenty nineteen another
interesting event. So that motivated me to get my go
bag and contacted a researcher in Peoria again get a
sav for that through a neighbor of mine who grew

(25:31):
up in Peoria, and she ended up getting me in
contact with a researcher, but he wanted to remain anonymous,
so we're just going to refer to him as Mark.
We'll go that way. Mark said, here are the areas,
and we went to those areas, and it is very

(25:51):
typical of what has been seen in Pennsylvania and Ohio
as far as terrain is concerned, Very very likely that
with all these sightings, it's very possible. Now Peoria was
a coal mining town, and it is believed that maybe

(26:13):
if this thing's existing, is moving through the coal mines
to transport from one area to another. It's very feasible.
We've all talked about the cave thing. Well, I can't
see the coal mines would be any different now. In
our exploration when I did go there, we did not
find any trace evidence or any evidence for that matter,

(26:35):
but the scenery, the landscape, the power lines very very
typical of what we've heard in reports. Now in Plano, Illinois,
which is only a few towns away from where I'm
at right now, there was a road cross sighting again

(26:58):
in October of twenty twenty four for those of you
taking notes, interestingly enough, the town next to Plan Oh
and believe this this is a real thing. Is a
town called Sandwich, Illinois, spelled the same way you would
think it would be spelled. And yes, their police cars

(27:19):
do say Sandwich Police, So be careful with your Jimmy
Johns if you're transporting them on the front seat. Anyway,
I've always wanted to buy up like four thousand acres
between Sandwich and Plano and then I would just name
it Boloney, so when you look at the map, it
would say Plano Boloney Sandwich. That was a lot of

(27:41):
work for that, but it's always been an ongoing joke
here as far as that goes. But the sighting in
Plano I did not give as much kudos to as
the sightings in Peoria, Illinois. Now again Peoria, it's central
ill Allinois going south into Kentucky, Tennessee into the Smoky Mountains. Yes,

(28:07):
I could certainly see a creature transporting itself completely undetected
when we come back, and I'll think of something to
talk about.

Speaker 9 (28:28):
You're listening to the big football horn right here on
the Sasquatch Experience.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
It's not Dockers, it's God knockers. Hey, have you been
to the squatch field site on the interweb that has
it all introducing Got Knockers dot Org. Stop on buy
for an intriguing story of the encounter that started it all.
But wait, there's more. Got Knockers offers some fabulous merchandise

(29:06):
like T shirts, hoodies, onesies for the baby, plus a
stunning array of jewelry and some fantastic sauces that will
make your taste buds dance.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
But the coolest of all is.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
A genuine God Knockers tree knocker. Stop on by and
say hi to the folks of Got Knockers, Gwendolyn and
Michael Purcell, get in on the action, and just visit
Got Knockers dot Org again Got Knockers dot o RG. Yeah,

(29:55):
well here we go. Here's an event we've all heard of,
but it's important information. The Ohio Bigfoot Conference lodging release
remaining lodge rooms and cabins for the main Ohio Bigfoot
Conference is scheduled for May second, twenty twenty six, and

(30:17):
it will be released to the general public on Wednesday,
as I like to say, Weddin's Day, January seventh of
twenty twenty six, so you can book your rooms.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Then.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
This is an administrative date for booking accommodations and it's
not for the conference itself. Thanks again for listening to
this edition of the Big Football Horn right here on
Anomalous Entertainment's Sasquatch Experience, And as Henry always says to
Johnson when he's leaving the bathroom.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
Until we meet again, keep your toe in the mind.

Speaker 2 (31:06):
Thanks advance for that wonderful big Bowl. Very nice, very nice.
While we were on break, Brian corbyin our executive producer
board f one fifty vances make a flash flight and
the firearm of your choice or the trifecta for night hunting.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
That's correct, Yes, I love then, I do right.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
It is a it's a beautiful truck. I love your day.
It is. Yes, it is a truck envy out there.
But folks, tonight is the everlasting, every year, perpetual, third
annual last minute Shoppers guy for the special squasher in
your life. As soon as I can find our graphics,

(31:49):
everything disappeared on me here tonight, Holiday Spirit, get out
of anyhow. You know, one of the things we haven't
really talked about to night though, is art. And you know,
this community is really privileged to have a great, great,

(32:10):
just old generation of artists out there. For folks to
go taken by from Eerie Eric far Georgio, our good
friend to Eerie Eric right. Yes, one of our the
Bob ross a Bigfoot, John Dodd, who has one of
my favorite wearing the Bones t shirts. Go to their
individual stores, go to their websites and we'll have them

(32:31):
in the links so you can go. My cough drop
is slipping there. You can go and support great artists.
You know, we always talk about shopping small, shopping local.
Go and do that with our friends the Bigfoot community.
The artists are really the heart and soul of what
we do, and they've been bringing sighting encounters alive through
their various means of media. And I'll tell you if

(32:54):
you could just see the walls in my office here
in my studio, I see the work just adorns this
place in my living room of family portraits made by
or the shirts I wear on the show that we're good, right,
and of course you another good one, Sean. Who's that

(33:18):
Sabella Irwin? Oh yes, yes, yes, we could go on
probably for the next half hour. Of all the great artists,
we'll leave and we'll leave somebody out. That's the sad part.
That's not the intention. You know, of course we're Gonnas
Nuffy to Stefano. If you need something carved and large,

(33:40):
that's yeah, right, he does small stuff too. I got
a really.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
Nice he does. Yeah, but his carvings are just mind blowing.
He is such a crafted uh craftsman, let me put
it that way. For whatever it is that you want
and whatever it is that you find your niche at,
he'll be able to do it. And Wow, some of

(34:05):
the stuff he's come up with is absolutely amazing.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
And if you happen to be in the central Pennsylvania area,
if you go to the Susquehanna Valley Mall to the
Cryptid Collective, get run by our good friend Gwen Purcell
over at Got Knockers. Yeah, a lot, a lot of
these items right there in the Crypti Collective. We know Gwen.
How do we know Gwen got knockers? Do you have

(34:29):
great knockers?

Speaker 1 (34:33):
If you don't have great knockers, go visit Gwen because
she's got great knockers and she'll give you as many
as you want.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
I'm sorry it wasn't Baker this time. So guys, Yeah,
what else have we got out there? Who wants to
go next? What other gifted ideas do we have I
have a whole plethora of getting Oh, let's go oh.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
So the first one, I'm going to bring up a name, right,
and this is and you know, basically you know this
person here, you could cover two gifts with this particular person,
our good friend Daniel Perez. Oh, yes, yeah, what we
have is uh for you know probably I guess it's

(35:24):
what twenty dollars for a year for the Big Times.
That is an incredible, incredible newsletter that he that he
puts out. Uh, this is going old school and it's
been in publication for the longest time. But this hearkens
back to, Yes, this harkens back to wow, this hearkens

(35:46):
back to I'm glad heyes when they bring up when
they when they would mail out these newsletters, right, and
so it really and he's just such a wealth of knowledge.
But then let's go on to number. The other part
with Daniel is the big Foot of Bluff Creek, which

(36:08):
he wrote incredible, incredible, So if you are into the
whole you know Patterson Gimlin film, you want to get
a deep dive into it. Daniel is on Facebook, he
has the website. I go on his website. And again

(36:29):
it is not just for that, but he also has
his list of books that that he personally his personal
list of top one hundred books I think, and it
is such a great, great website to go to.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
So that's quite for a while that Henry and Daniel
were going to have a face offer who kept the
most I knowgraphy.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
So but I see Henry's given the kudos to Perez.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
He's given that. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
The other thing too about Daniel Perez is he does
give a lot of good stock tips. So every so
often he'll put he'll he'll say, hey, you know, invest
in this if you got a couple of extra bucks.
He's been doing doing pretty good with that. So I
have a couple other things. So one thing that I
talked about clothing sometimes I had a picture earlier in

(37:24):
our chat. This is the tide Wii, which is uh
it's a Chinese company, but they're actually really good yet
Uh he did vest so I don't. Yeah, so I
don't have the battery pack connected to it, but uh,
you actually control it, it'll get your back. Whop, it'll

(37:44):
get your back, It'll get at the front. And Mayan
also has a hood, a heated hood. Okay, Yeah, this
thing is amazing. I had it out this weekend. Uh
when it was we had windshows of play you know
where it was like four degrees five degrees, looked into
the into a battery pack like this in the pocket.

(38:07):
You don't even know it's there. And I'll tell you
what I was. I was actually sweating with this. And
then once I I kinda I really didn't do follow
my you know what I always preach. You know, I
had this on and I'm walking around, you know, with
my big heavy jacket on over it, and man I
I I started sweating the song. I turned it off,

(38:28):
found my spot where I was gonna put my stand,
put that back on. I'll tell you what, man I
was so comfi I didn't want to leave. So that
is probably, you know, my my clothing choice for this year.
And again I think I sent you guys that can
you can you share with me again who the manufacturer

(38:52):
is of that product?

Speaker 2 (38:54):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (38:54):
Absolutely, it is uh tiede we let me make sure
I'm on. I get this on the thing here o
t I d e w E.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
So they make a.

Speaker 3 (39:07):
Lot of yeah, they make a lot of sporting equipment.
Uh you know more for hunting and something stuff that
they make even for being from from overseas. It really
the price is good and it works. The quality yeah,
the quality is actually pretty decent. They also sell a
hunting blind that I that that gives you two hundred

(39:29):
and seventy degrees of you.

Speaker 6 (39:31):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
I've seen those and the one thing is is that
is that you could use it for hunting. But also yes,
I was talking to uh to another researcher about actually
putting that out on a property where you may not
be able to be seen. So so that's always tiedewee
Is is a very good company. So next I have

(39:53):
some technical things. So this has been the absolute best
tool I have used pretty much since I got it.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
This is the a g M.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Global Vision Thermal Imaging Monocular KA I think b f
r O has. It's basically the same model you can
get through the bf r O website. This has recording
on it. I'll tell you that the range on this
is amazing and it's through a GM you know alpha

(40:32):
golf mic. So you look up a GM thermals and
you'll be able to get on there.

Speaker 1 (40:39):
It's a monocle though correct, it is a it's a
it's a monocle, okay, but I I will say this
is uh. There was actually UH when we were out
at the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Camping Adventure earlier earlier this year.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
There was one point where we were sitting there and
I had a thermal hit and I didn't think to
hit record, and it was somebody at the tree line.
But then when I found out that the trail went
this way and where the person or whatever was standing
there was all the way on the other side, I'm like, oh, shoot,
I probably should have hit record, just to try to

(41:26):
get a match up, to see if it matched up
with someone my size, you know. But anyways, the other
thing that I used that for on that trip was
we had two people that were on the on the
night wars. We had two people who's whose dog is that?
And we had two we were on the Yeah, we

(41:47):
had two people that were on the night tours that
ended up straying from the group and they couldn't find
their way back, so they sent me thermal.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
I was able to.

Speaker 3 (41:56):
Pick up where they were super super easy, better than
with the flashlight, and I was able to get back
to the group. So the AGM thermal fantastic, fantastic gift.
So another technical thing that I use. I don't have
it with me right now. It's actually out in my
truck is the Wildlife Acoustics song Meter micro two. So

(42:22):
what that is. That is a long duration recorder and
you could set the times on that, and it took
a little bit. I'm not as technically savvy as as
some other people. It took me a little bit to
try to get the times at the right time. But
we had that up in the up in Potter County
and we had that running for about three weeks and

(42:47):
there was two nights one after another. I think there
was one night was on a Tuesday. One night it
was on Thursday that we had that real strong wood
knocks that were I mean, you know, we just couldn't explain.
And they are both around three o'clock in the morning, so.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
You could.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
It's being used by the people in the Olympic Project,
it's being used by other researchers. It's again the Wildlife Acoustics.
They're sold out right now, but they generally go about
two hundred bucks. So I have that and I have
two other things to keep. I just bought this today,
so please you know, don't ask me for too much

(43:31):
information on this yet, but I'm trying to put it
up here.

Speaker 2 (43:36):
It is. Let me see if I can get this right.
Look at you.

Speaker 3 (43:41):
Wow, actually twenty eight hundred. I got this on sale
at Harbor Freight.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
And basically really oh yeah, wow. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
So it's a it's a Pelican box, you know, and
knock off.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
Yeah. Oh, pel boxes are awesome.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
Yes, So what am I going to keep in here?
I'm going to keep the thermal, I'm going to keep
night vision. I'm going to keep other like high end
technical stuff. It's not as big as some of it.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
Oh god, I got you. Yeah, but I had no
idea that Harbor Freight sold those. Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
They have tons of them, so wow, all different sizes.
This is the smallest one.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
Yeah, I got one right down the street from me.
I'm gonna have to run over there and get one.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Just done.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
Your recommendation, perfect, thank you. So it's the Apache twenty
eight hundred. They have a couple of different sizes. This
is the smallest one. This one here, I could throw
my backpack, you know, I could. I could take that
out right, you know. The other ones are a little
a little bigger. I'm only going to keep, like you,

(44:49):
just a couple of things in here, and but I
want to make sure that they're secured, and if I
drop them, it's.

Speaker 2 (44:56):
Not weather proofed, right right. So the last.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Thing that I have, I got all sorts of stuff here.

Speaker 2 (45:02):
Holy cow man, look at you go.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
I know, I know, Christmas, Christmas. I'm like Santa Claus here.
So we've talked about I think we've talked about these
people before. Purple Lizard, Purple Lizard Maps. They're based in Pennsylvania.
These maps, we're talking about the book you were you
were talking about that that James said sent you to.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
This is waterproof, tear proof.

Speaker 3 (45:28):
And what they do is they they include all different
walking trails, all different hiking trails. It has all your
you know, all the contours in there in the elevation.
And then what they do is they'll put little purple
lizards at like really cool spots that you want to
go to, like you know, if it's an overlook, if
it's rock out cropping.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
That.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
So the reason why I'm bringing that up is in
our research area, they have spent the summer mapping that
out and they're hoping to have uh their map from
our research area uh in probably sometime early next year.

(46:13):
But they don't cover everywhere. It's more Pennsylvania. But they
also have areas like Dolly Sods right, which is a
that's a great area, Shenandoah National Park. Uh, so they're
expanding in. They pretty much have have PA pretty well covered.
But again if for our listeners down Virginia, West Virginia,

(46:39):
you know they're including you guys as well. So I
think Elkton, Maryland, uh, western Maryland. So they do have
those maps available. So very cool, all good stuff, all
good stuff. And that's Matt.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
I've got a question for you going back to your thermal, Yes, jure,
how does that compare to the Sean helped me out?
Was it the Stacy Brown video? Oh yeah, well you're
talking about flear clear. But but how does that compare
in in quality with that type of a night vision?

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Well, let me let me just bring this question and
I heed to to answer a question with a question,
but I'm going to throw it back to Sean. Sean,
did you try my uh the AGM thermal?

Speaker 2 (47:30):
I did not get a chance to remember, we didn't
have enough time to charge it. That's true. He needed it.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
Yeah, I'll tell you the AGM thermal is incredible. Like
I I could, I could with the thermal that he
had that was that was definitely such an earlier generation, okay,
and and that was what Fleer was giving to civilians
at the time. So it's it was probably on par
with like the there's a life phone attachments, you know

(48:01):
that that you get for thermal and not to say
not to knock the the the what his image was,
it's just that now, uh, you know how many years
later those thermal imagers have have like you know, just expanded.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
That's why I was asking to see how much further
advancement in technology for what you have or what you're
you know, selling us as a gift, uh as a
night vision, how much better quality that you would get?

Speaker 3 (48:35):
It is I can now with the like the one
that c super unused or some of the earlier Fleers,
you you would just get that that figure or or
you know, and it had to be fairly close otherwise
otherwise it's just a it may just be a like
a blob squatch, you know, not I think it is,

(48:58):
but understandable unless it's close I can sider on my deck.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
I can.

Speaker 3 (49:05):
I can look up into the woods, you know, one
hundred and fifty two hundred yards, and I can plainly
see a deer.

Speaker 2 (49:11):
Wow. That's yeah, that's crazy. That's awesome. I can want one.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Yeah, just just over across the h we have a
little dirt road behind our house that leads up to
a to a watertown and the rest of its woods.
In that dirt road, I would just sit there and
and I would see something as small as a mouse.

Speaker 2 (49:33):
Are you killing me?

Speaker 1 (49:34):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (49:34):
Really? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (49:35):
And you are able to identify it as a mouse.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Well, I mean it could have been a shrew okay.

Speaker 3 (49:41):
But still a small A small little male, a small
little man acrossing the road.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Wow, that's that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (49:50):
Up in the woods, I could, I could easily determine
whether it's a deer.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
That's awesome. I've got around here.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
The bear. They don't. I'm around as much as I
used to, but but yeah, I could. I could definitely. Uh,
if it's going to be smaller and they're they're farther away,
I can't tell if it's a raccoon or a possum or.

Speaker 1 (50:10):
Right, right, hopefully, but still you know it's a smaller
creature instead of a seven foot tall creature.

Speaker 2 (50:18):
I get that. Yeah, I totally get that.

Speaker 1 (50:22):
I need to share something with all of you regarding
the Bobcat, because you know, Matt brought Bobcat up. Here's
an interesting fact. Not all bobcats are named Bob.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
Mm hmmm, that's true. That's true.

Speaker 1 (50:40):
I'm sorry I threw that in there. I'm sorry. Yeah,
I know, referred to as Robert, Robert cat.

Speaker 2 (51:00):
Boy. I totally derailed that whole excitement.

Speaker 4 (51:03):
The Tennessee bobcat like referred to as Bobby.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
Why'd you why'd you get him started? You see that? Yeah, Chris, anyhow, Matt,
we you know, we got a couple more things to
talk about here. Yes, of course you and I both
are a fan of o Ba's boots. Yes, always recommend them,
the Bridgers specifically, they're a good recommendation for both Matt

(51:30):
and I. We own a pair. Actually, Matt owns more
hiking boots than most women own shoes shoes I do.

Speaker 3 (51:38):
I'm actually thinking about doing a video with you know, Mike.
Basically my choices for what I use them for, because
I mean, I I do put miles on my boots,
so I have boots that I use for you know,
like uh, you know basically spring fall, all for seasons, right, Yeah, yeah,

(52:02):
I just for hunting. I have a pair of v insulated.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
Boots that are you really have to especially here in
Pennsylvania where we do get that four seasons, you really
have to watch the footwear. Yeah, you have to watch
the footwear. It's important and that I think that video
would be great for folks. So I kindly encourage you
to get on that because I will. Content's great, but
also it helps people understand like your feet are really important.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
Absolutely and considering the fact that Sean doesn't want to
get bit by a snake, so that's true.

Speaker 3 (52:37):
But people and I I talked about this on the
show before is people talked about like, you know, with
the shoes, like I love Merrital boots. I absolutely love
them for yeah just for I use them for work.
I use them just for around the house. I'm not
gonna take them out in Potter County because the basically

(52:58):
the soul is so flexible. It's like a sneak. And
when you're going on on rocks or you're going on
steep surfaces, you got lead on your back.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
You need something with.

Speaker 3 (53:08):
A firmer basically a firmer soul, so that that's where
like the obos come in, the Solomon's, the crispy boots.

Speaker 4 (53:15):
You know, yes, doesn't Merrill make a one of wana model.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Wow.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
Thanks and the show thereby one hour every other.

Speaker 2 (53:38):
Week and that's all I of course, you know, we
talked about what we talked about Purple Lizard. We also
talked about on X maps, and yes, absolutely if you're
a hunter specifically, it's great to have. But if you're
going to spend a lot of time in the outdoors,
on X is great because if you're in Pennsylvania at
delineates between public and private property pretty quick. But also

(54:02):
for you know, whatever you state you're in, it does
a really good job of keeping it current, keeping up
and if you don't know, a mapping system is incredibly important.
Oh bow it right.

Speaker 3 (54:13):
And what I do is every time I get a
report I do, I'll drop a pin for for where
the location is and then if you have ONYX, I
could share that that location with you. We were just
out Monday, and I don't want to say too much
about what happened Monday, but or last Monday, but you know,
we were out doing an investigation. I was able to

(54:34):
pin it and I think I texted you and the
other person involved showing that there was a ravine you know,
coming from the one side of the road and then
it travers to the other side. So whatever was seen,
it may have been in you know, it may have
been using that as basically as a corridor. The other

(54:55):
thing that's yeah, you were able to see with that.

Speaker 2 (54:57):
The other thing I love is it also works on
your iPad, so you get a mass for a larger tablet,
so you're not stuck in like that phone view on
your tablet. It is modified and fits your tablet so
you can really do some good data points and stuff,
and they really pull up some detail and it's just
a great mapping software. So on on ex Hunt, I

(55:19):
use the Elite. They have different levels, but the Elite's
the best bang for your buck in my estimations. Wow,
what a great Christmas presently. Look subscriptions, man, are all
the rage. And as Matt and I were talking, it's
T Mobile I think also offers an add on to
believe any cellular carrier at this point, yes, where you

(55:39):
can use link up with starlink and have connection when
you're out and about for safety. Yes, that's a huge deal. Yeah,
that's what I have currently. Yep. I want to be safe.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
I want Sean to fly in his helicopter and save
me when I mean the woods and I'm completely lost.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
It'd be like five of us. Wo'd be the Beat team.

Speaker 1 (56:05):
The Beat team to give Henry.

Speaker 2 (56:11):
Have to give Henry a mohawk and some gold.
