And as I always say, if you focus on what

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Then you can project something good to happen.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
So focus on what is good, because if you are
sitting around thinking about problems, situations, and circumstances you can't control.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Just focus on what makes you happy and focus.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
On the things they give you joy and peace, and
most importantly, focused on what is good. If you are
outside somewhere traveling about today, make sure you pray.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
It never hears the pray.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Make sure you keep yourself safe and your family members safe.

Speaker 1 (01:19):

wonderful day, and I just wanted to come on and
remind you to continue to stay positive, continue to stay
focused on what is good, and most importantly, love yourself more.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
That's right, love yourself more.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
Why because when you love yourself more you can love
others more.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
We need to focus more on the positive things.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
There is a lot going on in the world today,
and unfortunately when we look at the news, it's just
a lot of negativity sometimes, and we need to focus on.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
The positive things.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
All of the people that have been affected by the
fires in California, my prayers go out to you. Make
sure you stay lifted, stay focused, and remember that God
has not forgotten you. Whenever we go through something, God
is still with us. He will make a way for us.
And so keep your head up. Don't look at the

(03:47):
situation and think that it is the conclusion of all things,
because it's not so.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
If you've been.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Affected by the fires in California here in the United.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
States, make sure you stay positive.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Stay prayer for all of you listeners that are listening
to me right now.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Please pray for the people of California.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Pray for the leaders of this great United States. Why
because there's a lot that's going on, and there's a
lot that's gonna happen over the next week, and we
need to simply pray.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But again I want to remind you too, just stay encouraged.
Don't listen to.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Things that will bring your spirit down, love yourself more,
make sure you stay filled with the things that help
you to be a better youth. I was having a
conversation with one of my students yesterday and I.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Asked her a question.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I said to her, what are you working on in
two thoy twenty five And she said, I simply want
to love myself more. And I thought that was a
phenomenal answer to the question why, because when you love
yoursel he.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
More, you can love others more.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
One of the things she said to me was she
wants to focus on her health and wellness.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
She wants to focus on making right decisions.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
She wants to focus on just doing the work so
that she could be a better person. And I want
to send a shout out to you, Michelle over Michelle
all the way over in Saudi Arabia.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
So we had a really really good conversation and I
just thought that was just so beautiful for her to say,
I simply want to love myself more. So I decided
to just encourage you with that same quote that she
gave me, I just wanna love myself more. So I'm
saying to you, love yourself more, stay determined, stay lifted up,

(05:51):
just stay focused on the things that make you better.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
And I know.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Sometimes some things are easier said than the but each
day we live, we have an opportunity to gravitate get
close to something that helps us to be better. The
greatest of all things is God. When we get closer
to God, when we pray more, and when we feed

(06:19):
ourselves spiritual content, inspirational content, motivational content.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
I call it life content.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
When we feed ourselves life content, guess what, then we
are nourishing our bodies, our minds, our spirits when we
feed ourselves life content.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Self feed yourself life content today.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
So that you can stay motivated, stay inspired, stay encouraged,
stay determined, and keep your mind focused on the things
that make you better. Because if you have a problem
you can't solve immediately, why.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Should you focus on it.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Don't focus on the problem, focus on filling yourself up
with the things that simply make you better. Because all
of us, no matter where we live, and no matter
what culture we come from, we're all the same. Because
guess what, when one bleeds, the other bleeds right. So remember,
stay focused and love yourself more. And I know it

(07:23):
might be somebody thinking, how can I love myself more.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Well, you can love yourself more by.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Like Michelle said, making right decisions, choosing what is best
for you, Managing the people and your relationships around you. Yes,
managing your relationships, making sure you have positive relationships, making
sure that your conversations are edifying, making sure that your
conversations are filled with the things to help you feel better.

(07:50):
If you are having a conversation and it just brings
you down, ask yourself the question, why are you participating
in that conversation?

Speaker 1 (07:59):
That's right, So do all things.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Make choices and decisions that help you to be a
better youth.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Love yourself more. Make sure you journal.

Speaker 2 (08:11):
This is the twelfth day of January, the twelfth day
of this year, right, so make sure you journal. Write
some things down. Make a plan for yourself according to
what you want to experience. Make a plan for yourself
according to how you want to love yourself more. It

(08:35):
is not selfish to love yourself more. It is not
selfish to do that because if you don't take care
of you, and if you don't make make good decisions
for yourself, if you don't do what's best for you,
then how can you be an asset or do something good?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
For somebody else, you can't.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
It's not selfish, it's not conceded, it's not selfish absorbing
to love yourself more.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
When you love yourself more, you are a loving God more.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
And when I say that in the context of loving
God more, I'm talking about spending time with God, praying more,
and understanding from Him how to love yourself more.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Because if you.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Love yourself more in an unhealthy way by being selfish
and not giving to others and being mean spirited saying, oh,
I just want to love myself more, no, that's an
unhealthy that's an unhealthy place of loving yourself more. So
when you love yourself more, you want to maintenance your

(09:43):
thought life. You want to nourish yourself dealing with life content.
You want to meditate and pray, and you want to
do the things that help you to be a better youth.
That's right, because when you work on being a better

(10:03):
you in the simplest way, then you are on Then
you will be on a good path to transforming into
something better, in something new.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
So choose everything that will help you to be a
better you, and.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Take time for yourself to think about what I am
saying today. Once again, it is the twelfth day of
this year. We have been in this year for twelve
days and there are about two and a half weeks left.

(10:43):
So make a plan according to the goals you want
to achieve. Make a plan according to how you want
to love yourself more, because when you love yourself more,
you will love others more. When you love yourself more,
you will have have a healthy confidence. That's right, love

(11:04):
yourself more. Loving yourself more is not only about what
you buy for yourself, because I know sometimes people they
perceive it that way. Some people say things like, Oh,
I'm gonna buy myself this and I'm going to dress
up like this with that.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Yes you can do that.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
It's beautiful. It's wonderful to care for yourself that way.
But make sure you take care of the inward parts.
As I always say, if you want to take care
of your spirit, so fill yourself up with the things
that help you to be a better youth. Just like water,
you drink water every day. You drink something liquid every

(11:45):
day because water is essential to live. So caring for
your spirit, caring for your mind every single day is
essential for living as well. So build yourself fuck with
life content. When I say life content. I'm talking about
anything that's motivational, anything that's inspirational, anything that's spiritual. When

(12:09):
I say anything that's spiritual, I'm talking about anything that's
connected to love. And I'm not talking about some hocus
pokes stuff. Okay, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking
about anything that's connected to love. I'm talking about anything
that's connected to gentleness, meekness, goodness, positivity, you know, all

(12:31):
of that good stuff. Anything that's connected to God that
gives you peace.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
That's right. I'm not talking about hocus pocus stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Because when you say something spiritual, dance many interpretations, right,
So I gotta I gotta specify that.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
But I hope everybody had a.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Good weekend a Sunday, and we all have to prepare
for the weekend. Please for the week by having a
positive attitude, and please prepare for the week by staying
focused on what's good, making sure that you are in
the moment and aware of what you need to do

(13:18):
for you. And when I say that, I'm talking about
simply caring for yourself.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Make sure you are not.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Forgetful about the needs of others as well, because, like
I said, when you love yourself.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
More, you will know how to love others.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
This topic about loving yourself more has so many layers
to it, and to love yourself more in a healthy way.
In my opinion, I believe it is all connected to
God because if you are.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Maintenancing your thought life and if you are taking note
of what you need to do each day.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
For you, then you will know what to do. Because
everybody is different. All of us have a different life.
We all have different lives and we have different situations
we have to deal with every day. So just make
sure that as you rise every morning, tell yourself, I'm

(14:28):
going to love myself more. Tell yourself, I'm going to
make good decisions for myself to love myself more. Tell yourself,
I'm going to love myself more, to love others more.
Because walking in love is very very healthy. It is
the best thing that we can do. Sometimes we all

(14:51):
can be weak to certain things and we're not perfect.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
But you can walk in love.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
You can walk in live about how you think you
can walk in love by simply just being willing to
walk in love. And when I say walk in love,
I'm talking about just loving yourself to love others, loving God,
to love yourself, to love others and being mindful of
the power of walking in love. And so I'm so

(15:23):
glad I had the conversation with my student because she
inspired this content today. I just wanted to come on
and remind you of all that I just said. And
I pray you have a really, really, really good week.
I pray you stay confident and inspired and focused on

(15:43):
all that makes you better. And once again, don't forget
to pray. Don't forget that there is power and prayer
and God is with us.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
He has not forgotten us.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Make sure you love on your family every opportunity you get.
Make sure you project what's good. I gotta remind you
of that. And one last thing, please give to FEE
the America. If you want to give to any charity,
give just do something for somebody somewhere because we all

(16:18):
have a responsibility to do that. And so on that note,
I'm going to end this episode of That's Your Favorite
