2 Timothy 1:7 & Philippians 4:6
These two verses offer a powerful combination for overcoming fear and anxiety and living a life of peace and confidence.
2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We don't have to be controlled by our fears, but can instead live with courage and a sound mind through the strength of the Holy Spirit.
Philippians 4:6 encourages us to not be anxious about anything, but instead to bring our requests to God through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. When we do this, we can experience the peace of God, which transcends all understanding. Together, these verses provide a roadmap for dealing with fear and anxiety. When we are afraid, we can remember that we have the power to overcome our fears through the Holy Spirit. And when we are anxious, we can bring our concerns to God in prayer and trust that He will provide.

Application: Identify your fears and anxieties. What are you most afraid of? What are you most anxious about?
Pray about your fears and anxieties. Bring your concerns to God and ask for His help to overcome them.
Focus on the power, love, and self-control that God has given you. Remember that you are not alone in your struggles.
Give thanks for all that God has done for you. This will help you to focus on the positive and to trust in God's goodness.
Live a life of peace and confidence. Know that God is with you and that He will never leave you or forsake you.

an inspirational quote, and I have decided to come on

(03:19):
and yes, give you an inspirational quote because we live
in a time when we have to stay focused. We
are living in a time where we have to stay focused,
that's right, and so I want to remind you of
all of those things to stay important. And I'm going

(03:40):
to give you an inspirational quote from the Bible again.
I gave out inspirational quotes yesterday. It was two verses
that I gave out yesterday talking about trust, and today
the two versus I will give out. Yes, it's from
the Bible again. We're going to talk about fear and

(04:03):
why we shouldn't fear. So. The first inspirational quote or
first part of the inspirational quote is Second Timothy, chapter one,
verse seven. For God gave us a spirit not of fear,

(04:23):
but of power and love and sound mind, which is
self control. And the second part of this inspirational quote
is Philippians four six. Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving that

(04:45):
your requests be known to God. I am going to
read both verses again. The first one is for God
gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power,
love and a sound mind. That second Timody one seven,

(05:08):
and the second part of that is do not be
anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer, with supplication
and thanksgiving, let your request be known to God. Now
that last part is Philippians for six. This inspirational quote

(05:32):
is all about reminding you to stay focused, and it's
all about reminding you to focus on everything that makes
you better. The first scripture I quoted second Timoty one
seven talks about not being fearful. You don't have to

(05:55):
be fearful because God has not given you a spirit
of fear, but He's given you a spirit of power,
love and soul mind, which is self control. So we
have a responsibility to focus on everything that helps us
to align ourselves with faith and not fear. And we
can do that by understanding how to think. When we

(06:18):
understand how to think, then we can practice more self control.
We have to focus on everything that helps us to
be better, because if you are sitting around thinking about
things that are not good, that means you are aligning
yourself with the things that will bring you fear. You

(06:42):
are aligning yourself with the things that are not good.
So align yourself with everything that is good. Align yourself
with thinking about the things that are powerful, thinking about
the things that are full of love, thinking about the
things that help you to be better. The second scripture
I quoted was Philippins four to six, and that scripture

(07:07):
is simply saying, don't be anxious about anything, but through
all things, pray about it. Pray about all things acknowledging God,
depending on God. These two scriptures are very important to

(07:28):
meditate on. Why because if you are misguided or focused
on something you shouldn't be focused on. Now you have
the tools to understand what you can use to determine
how you should focus and what you should focus on.

(07:49):
How should you focus? You should focus on every thing
that makes you better. Yes, focus on everything that makes
you makes you better. When you focus on everything that
makes you better, then you will be better. Focus on
everything that is good, focus on everything that is positive.

(08:10):
If you can solve a problem immediately, then solve it,
hit it and quit it and move on, meaning take
care of your business and move on. But don't sit
around thinking about a problem if you can't solve it immediately.
You must walk in the peace of God, the soundness

(08:33):
of God, and the power of God. And what is that?
And where? How do you walk in those things? You
walk in those things according to how you think. You
walk in all of the things I just mentioned, according
to how you think the content of what you are
thinking about. You have the power to take control of

(08:55):
what you think. You have the power to take control
of of what you focus on. A lot of times,
if we are focused on the wrong thing all of
a sudden, then your emotions will be in the wrong place.
That's right, If you are focused on the wrong thing,

(09:19):
your emotions will be in the wrong place. And what
do what I mean by the wrong place? Meaning you
will start to feel something you don't want to feel.
So that is why it is so important to focus
on what's good and focus on the things that simply
make you better. We all have the power to do that.

(09:40):
We all have the power to focus on the things
that helps us to be better. We should be encouraged
every day to focus on the things that help us
to be better. Self control is so important because when

(10:04):
we are aware of what we should be doing and
what we should not be doing. Of course, yes, we
then can take more control. But a lot of times
if we are not focused but yet distracted, how would
you know what to take control of? You won't know.

(10:25):
So that is why it is so important to be
focused and not distracted. These two verses are a combination
of overcoming fear and overcoming anxiety to live a life

(10:46):
of peace and confidence. When or if you don't have peace,
then guess what that means. You need to be focused.
If you have any anxiety or any form of anxiety,
that means you need to refocus. We don't have to

(11:08):
be afraid of anything, but we simply need to pray.
We don't have to walk around in confusion. We simply
need to pray. We don't have to be subject to
the things that make us less. We simply need to pray.

(11:30):
So once again, I'm going to read those two scriptures again.
God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power,
love and sound mind. That two Timothy one seven and
the next one says, do not be anxious about anything,

(11:53):
but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let
your requests be known to God. And that's Philippians for six.
I hope that everything I said reminds you of what
you need to do. I hope that you have a
really good weekend, and I pray that you are intentionally

(12:16):
focused on everything that is good so that you will
not be subject in any kind of way to fear
on anxiety. God is able to help us, and he's
able to lead us, and he's more powerful than us
in everything that exists, and we must not doubt that

(12:39):
but simply have an attitude of overcoming to keep living
a quality filled life. There is power and prayer. Yes,
it is every day we live. If we take a
moment throughout our day, not just in the morning, not

(13:02):
just that night. If we take moments throughout our day
to pray more, to be more focused, then we can
partake of many more things that are good. We should
never project the negative, but we should project repositive so

(13:29):
that we can manifest and create and foresee something good happening.
If for some reason you have a bad feeling about something,
pray about it. If for some reason you are greatly

(13:50):
concerned about something, pray about it. If for some reason
you may not have peace about something, it could be
the least of anything. Pray about it, but don't sit
around thinking about the things that are not going to

(14:12):
help you. Focus on the things that will help you.
Focus on what is good, Focus on God helping you.
Focus on the result of the problem, the positive solution
of the problem. Don't focus on the negative part. Focus
on what is good. Because God has not given us

(14:35):
a spirit of fear, but a power, love and a
sound mind. Think about that for a second. God has
not given that to us. He has given us all
that is good. He doesn't want us to be anxious,
but he wants us to be thankful, and he wants
our request to be known to him. Right, So focus

(15:02):
on what is good, pray about all things, and stay focused.
And I hope that you have a very good weekend.
