Because when we focus on what is good, it helps
us to feel better and we give power to the
things we want to see happen versus the things we
don't want to see happen.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Okay, now I can move on.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
To the title of this episode, and the title of
this episode is the Burden, the unburden, the power of
living your life without worrying.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Ten powerful reasons to stop worrying, because when you worry,
that means you're not living the way you should live.
So live more and stop worrying. Do not worry because
it's not good to worry. And I know it's easier
(05:11):
said than done, but it's something we must practice because
sometimes people get themselves in trouble when they worry a lot,
because when you worry, it can affect your health.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Worry is a waste of energy.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
It drains your mental and emotional resources without solving any problems.
Most people that worry they focus on the problem.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
And not solutions.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
If you're going to think about a problem, or if
you're going to think about a crisis or a situation,
you have to solve, work on the solution. Think about
the solution, don't just think about the problem. So worrying
is not it's not healthy. It's not health for your emotions,
it's not healthy for your mind, it's not healthy for
(06:05):
your body because every time you worry, you are releasing
toxic hormones.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Into your system. That's right. It harms your physical health.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Chronic worry is linked to high blood pressure, heart disease,
digestive issues. It also weakens the immune system, and it
also as other types of stress related elements.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
To the body.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
So you don't want to worry. If you find yourself
thinking about something too much, pray about it. That's right,
Pray about it because I think it is important for
us to pray always. The Bible says we should pray
always because when you pray, you are releasing.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
What you don't need. So make sure you pray, make sure.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
You stand and walk by faith, live according to what
you believe in your faith in God. Because if you
focus on the solution.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
And you pray, then.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
That problem is not going to overtake you mentally, because
when you worry, it doesn't solve anything. It impedes a
problem solving a situation. You don't want to worry about
something constantly because when you worry, your brain is in
(07:36):
a state of.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
Alarm and not peace.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
And also when you worry, it makes it harder to
think clearly and rationally, and you definitely can't be creative
if you are.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Worried.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
That's right, so focus on the solution. When you worry,
it also robs you of the present moment because worrying
pulls you out of the now and it prevents you
from enjoying experiences and connections and opportunities that are.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
Right in front of you. That's right. So try not
to worry.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
And I use the word try because I'm talking about
you giving this practice and effort because I know some
people say, oh, well, you just don't understanding this and
it's difficult.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
I do understand.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
We have to tell ourselves to do something with effort,
and we have to use our willpower in order to
do it.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
And alone with the willpower, you have to pray. Yes,
you have to pray.
Speaker 2 (08:53):
I'm saying it this way because I'm saying it with
an urgency. You have to pray because when you pray,
you are positioning yourself to receive help.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
When you pray, you are positioning yourself to receive help.
We were not created to just be independent of God.
We were created to have relationship with God. We were
created to receive help from God, direction from God, provision
from God.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
We were created for that purpose. And I know some people.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
They believe different things according to what I'm saying, But
I just want to make it very clear. You do
not have control over your own breath. God has given
you that breath and your lungs to breathe, and without
that breath, you can't breathe.
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Okay, that's a simple example.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
So make sure you pray because you don't want to
be in a state of worry. Also, oh, when you worry,
it amplifies negative emotions.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
You don't want to sit in negative emotions because when
you worry, it breeds more worry and then it leads
to a downward spiral of fear, frustration, and sadness. So
you gotta do the work so you don't worry. You
(10:26):
gotta do the work so that you can stay focused,
be more courageous, so that you can walk by faith.
You want to do the work so that you can
be present in the now. You want to do the
work so that you are not in a position of worry,
(10:48):
hurting your body. That's right, because when you worry, it
also it damages relationships, Yes it does. Constant work can
make you irritable, distracted, and less present with loved ones,
Straining connections. Oh yes, because let me tell you something.
(11:12):
If one of my family members or friends call me
up and they worried about something, or if they're speaking
in a downward position, I'm one of those people. I'm
going to tell you, listen, it's going to get better.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Don't worry. Let's talk about the solution.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
But if the person wants to keep talking about the
problem and they don't want to hear the solution or
they don't want to just discuss something more positive, then
I have nothing else to say. I don't want to
partake in the conversation that is filled with a bunch
of fear and worry.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
And I know some people might say.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
Well, won't you just listen to me, or won't you
don't don't be insensitive because someone told me that.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
I'm not insensitive.
Speaker 2 (11:56):
I just want friends, family member, loved ones to understand
their power because we don't have to worry. We don't
have to speak or have an attitude in a downward position.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
Because when you worry and.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
You speak all the things that are related to it
according to fear, then what happens is you can put
yourself in a more deeper state of worry instead of
a state of hope or a state of faith. Also,
it limits your potential for creativity because when your mind
(12:36):
is occupied with worry, there's less space for new ideas,
innovative thinking, and.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
Pursuing.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Your passions become limited because of worry. So nothing about
worrying is good.
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Nothing about it. It's all bad.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
It's toxic for your body, it's toxic for your relationships.
It stops your creativity. It does everything that is wrong.
There's nothing good about it, so why worry it.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Also it also.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Stirs up more fear. Excuse me, It stirs up more fear,
fear that you didn't even have. When you worry about something,
it stirs up more fear, that's right. It stirs up
something called hypothetical future events.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
Fear fear about the future. To get to the point
of it, So you don't want to be fearful. You
don't want to be in a position of worry. You
just don't. And you can.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Get away from that by praying. You can get away
from that by staying focused. You can get away from
that by discussing solutions.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Because when you worry, it can be sadly or learned habit.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
It can be a learned habit.
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Because of what you've seen in the past, or what
you've seen somebody do, or what you've heard somebody say. Yeah,
it can be a generational habit because maybe somebody in
your family worried the lie and now because of how
they spoke about problems. Now you feel like you have
(14:22):
to take on the same habit, but you don't. You
don't have to take on a habit of worry. You
don't have to take on a mindset of fear. You
can discuss solutions and you.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Can have.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
A lot of encouragement in the mist of whatever it
is you're trying to solve, and in the midst of
whatever it is you're going through, you don't have to
be in a downward position filled with fear and worry,
because you should focus on shifting your attitude, accepting what
you can't change, and in the midst of whatever it
(14:57):
is you're going through, prayerful that's right, because when you
stop worrying, you will free up your mental space and
you will be able to take control, and you will
have more problems solving solutions because you will be able
(15:22):
to think clearly that's right. And then in the midst
of whatever it is you're going through, you want to
have peace. And I know some people might say, well,
how can you have peace when you have problems and
how can you have peace when you are just going
through a crisis.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Well, guess what.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
There's a scripture in the Bible that I always think
about when I'm going through something. And that scripture it says,
I will keep you in perfect peace if your mind
is stayed on me. I don't know the address to
that Pacific scripture, but that scripture is talking about the
(16:05):
name of Jesus. If you want to find some scriptures
in the Bible about.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Peace, just google google peace.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
In a Bible and you will see scriptures about peace,
or use chat GPT and you can find scriptures about peace.
But that one scripture, I will keep him in perfect
peace whose mind is stayed on me. That's right. So
God can give you peace. The name of Jesus can
give you peace. And for those of you that may
not believe in Jesus, give Jesus a chance and understand
(16:35):
and learn about.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Who he is.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Because I believe in Jesus, and I don't force people
to believe what I believe. But I'm just sharing, Okay,
But back to what I was saying, God will give
you peace.
Speaker 1 (16:50):
Understand that.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
When you worry, it it destroys everything because it it
hinders the problem solving process. It gives more stress to
a situation, and it hinders the focus you should have.
So stop worrying, and you can by being more conscientious
(17:21):
of what you need to do to get through whatever
it is you're going through. You can be more encouraged,
You can be more focused if you simply understand what
you need to do in the moment. Don't allow yourself
to be idle doing nothing and just thinking.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
About a problem.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
All of us, in some way, at different moments in life,
have big problems, small problems, medium problems, whatever, any kind
of problem. But the point of it all is this,
whatever it is you you are going through or have
gone through, just remember.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
God is always with you.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
He was with you before when you went through problems
in the past, and He is with you now. And
you have to stay focused and you have to pray
so that you can receive the peace, the strength, the endurance,
the resilience, all those things that are necessary for you
to be better.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
Because, like I.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Said, whether you believe it or not, we were not
created to be independent of God. And I know, like
I said, some people believe different things, and I'm not
one to debate with all of that stuff. I just
know that if you pray, you will receive His help.
(18:54):
Because there are some things in this life you cannot
pay for with money, a check and a credit card,
and you can't pay. You can't buy peace. That's right,
that's one thing you cannot buy. It is God that
gives peace. And I'm not trying to preach to you,
but I'm just saying, you gotta give your cares to God.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
And you do that by praying.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
You do that by focusing, and you do it by
being present without fear or worthy. And if you for
some reason find yourself feeling like you're worried, like I said, pray.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
We have to pray.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
We have to shift our minds in this hour. We
have to shift our minds to God. And I'm not
saying that in a religious way. I'm saying this in
a spiritual way, because some people do spiritual things and
they have no power. Some people do religious things and
they have no power.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
But you want to have power. And the way to
have power in.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
The spiritual way is to include God in what you do.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
That's right. That's the way to have power.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
When you do that, then you will receive help because
if you ask him for help, he will help you.
So on that note, I am going to conclude this episode,
and I hope that everything I stated it was something
(20:38):
you could think about. Because you want to manage your stress,
work on your mental health. You want to have peace
of mind. You want to continue to reduce anxiety.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
You just want to be better. You don't want if
you just worry about things unnecessarily.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
You want to keep a positive mindset and live without worry.
You want to have productivity in your life that shows
good things happening around you. And you also want to
improve your relationships. You don't want to destroy your relationships
with worry. So make sure when you talk about a problem,
(21:31):
talk about the solution. Talk about how it's resolved and
how you are working on it to be resolved. Talk
about it as if it's already resolved. That's right, but
don't talk about it in a downward position and the
woe is me position. Don't do that because you don't
(21:55):
want to walk and worry.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
You want to walk in.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Faith, evidence and determination. So I hope that, like I said,
you got something out of what I stated. And make
sure if you know someone that is going through this,
And if you know a family member or a friend
or a colleague that needs to be motivated, inspired, or encouraged,
(22:19):
share this episode with them. And if this episode has
encouraged you or reminded you of something that was important,
make sure you do exactly what I have shared. Make
sure you pray. Make sure you pray. I gotta remind
(22:39):
you of that because we are living in a serious
time and I truly believe that if we pray and
if we stay focused every day, we will do well
no matter what happens, because God is sovereign. And also, lastly,
