From the Sidelines to the Spotlight (Bethany Miller, WGAL)

In this special edition of Schiffbauer Over Rocks, host Paul Schiffbauer Jr. chats and catches up with Bethany Miller, the newly hired Sports Director at WGAL, and the first woman to hold this prestigious role in the station's history. A Shrewsbury native and 2014 Susquehannock High School graduate, Bethany returned to her roots in Pennsylvania after covering major sports events across the country, including the College Football Playoff National Championship, NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, and the Indianapolis 500.

Bethany shares her journey from studying journalism at the University of Alabama to working in sports broadcasting in Evansville, Indiana, and Albuquerque, New Mexico, before finally landing her dream job back home.

Bethany’s authenticity and passion for sports truly shine in this episode as she talks about becoming part of the WGAL legacy, and embracing the role in her own way as a woman blazing her own way in sports media.
