(00:01):
You're listening to radio loud. Butyou know, and I don't feel that.
I don't control this is me.You want to get crazy because I

(00:24):
don't give it. You're listening totalk. Welcome to Schmitt Talk. I'm
your host, Savvy Schmitt, andI'm getting over being sick and that's why
my voice sounds like hell. Soanyway, I do have an audience here

(00:47):
with me today, so if youhear them laughing, that's why. Okay,
Um, anyway, okay, Firstof all, I want to say
Happy Father's Day to my dad,and I'm gonna get into talking about him
a little bit later. And alsoHappy Birthday to my daughter. I'm trying
to not use her name because Ireally don't. With what I do and
being in the public eye, Ijust don't want to have like yeah people,

(01:11):
and I try to protect you know, kids need protection. So anyway,
I want to talk about a showI just relaunched. I have to
preface this, okay, because thiscould be a delicate subject for some people,
especially given that it's on religious grounds. Okay, and I do have
to make this disclaimer right out ofthe gate. I am not against God,

(01:34):
Okay. I believe in God.And so this particular character I have
to tell you in my broadcast history, I worked at the Bought Radio Network.
I don't know if you know whatthat network is, but it's it's
a network with over one hundred andfifty stations around the United States. Okay,
So we would get this religious programmingin and there was these two ladies

(01:57):
who had regular Okay. One ofthem was called Revive Our Hearts with Nancy
Lee Demas, and there was anotherone with Shaunty Feldhon. Okay, and
particularly Nancy Lee de Moss focuses onher husband and how women can be godly
wives. When I listened to theseshows with these ladies, literally there were

(02:23):
points in the show where you thoughtlike is this a parody? Is are
are they being real? And I'mgoing to talk about Shaunty Feldhon one of
the shows that she did, andshe said that you know, she didn't
She was with some male colleagues ofhers and they went out to go eat
at a restaurant. So it's threeof the guys in her in this one

(02:43):
car going out to lunch, andthey pull up to this restaurant parking lot
and they get out of the carand she says, well, it really
smells like a dirty dish rag outhere. I think we should choose a
different place, and she said. Then I looked over at my male call
leaks and the look on their faces. I realized I had just emasculated all

(03:04):
of them. And so it's it'sthings like that when I heard that show,
and um, you know, I'mkind of like, I think it's
probably okay if you interject your opinion, but this is how extreme these ladies
are, right, I mean, they are devout, like you do everything
your husband says. You know,I'm sure they do have limits. And

(03:28):
so then I developed this character namedSabrina Jenkins based on being inspired from those
two ladies that are real life broadcasters, and so m I did have a
different show name at first. I'veonly done four episodes so far, now
five which I just posted today. It's called Holy Freaking Housewives. Okay,
and Sabrina Jenkins, that character Ideveloped, takes it to the extrem Okay.

(03:57):
So this character I have so muchfun with, okay, and it's
and I want to reiterate, thisis not anything against God, Okay,
so please don't think it is.It is just simply a character that really
really dotes on her husband to thepoint where she uses baby shampoo in the
shower in the event that she hasto get out of the shower because the
lord called her to serve her husbandin that way, the baby shampoo will

(04:20):
not burn her eyes. Okay, she's got this nailed down to an exact
science. I do have a lotof fun doing this character. It's tremendously
fun, and I think you're gonnalike it because everyone really really likes it
a lot. So you'll find thelink on radiolove dot com. That's Radio
Luv dot com. Just look forHoly Freaking Housewives. Okay, all right,

(04:43):
now, I want to get backto my dad. Happy Father's Day,
Ken Schmidt, and I did putPapa Schmidt on the show Graphic for
the Sweet So anyway, Happy Father'sDay to him. And he raised me
to have integrity. This you know, I was taught, don't borrow,
don't lie, have accountability, workhard, try to never miss work read.

(05:12):
He used to teach us a newword every week, like a big
word, like a big word likesomething like juxtapose or you know. So
when I grew up or just evengrowing up, I had this vocabulary that
people. You know, when Iuse all these big words, people are
like, dumb it down, youknow, because there's a lot of people

(05:32):
that are not going to even understandwhat you're saying at all. So you
can only really flex that with certainaudiences. Everybody else is going to be
clueless. But yeah, basically, the Schmidt family is basically a network.
We have a big family and theyare all so kind you won't even believe.
Like the loving nature of these people. I was so blessed to get

(05:56):
to grow up around and have likeand they're all will to do. They're
all doctor and lawyers. Like Imean, we have a big reunion every
year at my grandparents' house. Theylive on this river. I'm not going
to say my state and all that. I don't want to you know,
get stocked and all that. Idon't know. Sometimes I put stuff out
there, but I don't want togo into too many details anyway. But

(06:16):
yeah, I am thankful for them, and I'm thankful again for my dad.
And also, you know, happymothers stay to my mom because I
didn't do an episode for her,but I can do an episode all about
her also, like on a comingup episode. One thing I love about
my mom is that she loves animals. So anytime we would bring animals home

(06:36):
when I was growing up, shewould be kind of like, well,
and then she would just cave inand we just we'd find ourselves at the
store buying animals supplice. We musthave had like thirty or forty animals at
like at our peak animal having time, which I think I was probably eleven

(06:57):
or twelve, when we had basicallya menagerie, y'all. I had an
aviary full of birds, okay, parakeets and doves and quails. My dad
actually built this aviary for me whenI was in the fourth grade. Okay,
he built it with his own twohands. I think my uncle might
have been involved too, but theyknew how much I love animals and birds

(07:18):
and so they did that for me. Wasn't that amazing? So cool?
I mean, I've been raising birdsfor a long time and so like,
but she kind of fostered that inme and let me you know, we
had rabbits, I had a peacock, like. I mean, the only
thing I didn't have was like livestocklike horses or goats or anything like that.
But we always had some kind ofanimal what else. So, yeah,

(07:44):
I want to welcome Jessica Constantine notjust to the Radio Love team,
but she's also going to be startingher own podcast, and her podcast is
going to be called Jessica's Life Journey. We're going to kick that off for
next Thursday. I didn't do anythingthis week because I've been sick and I
don't know what it was. Itwas some kind of naroly sinus thing and
you can kind of hear it still, but oh man, running knows like

(08:07):
it's just stuffy. Okay, toomuch information. Anyway, I'm back.
I'm pretty much better. I'm justwaiting for the rest of it to kind
of you know, hopefully my sinushas calmed down pretty soon. But it's
a lot better than it was afew days ago. We will be putting
authors in the Spotlight back on theair soon. We had to kind of

(08:28):
dial that one back because you know, I had some health issues for well,
it wasn't that they lasted for amonth. It was just that I
was waiting for test results for mywhen I had to go to the er
April twentieth, and so there waskind of a weight because I had to
wait a whole month, right,So I kind of just dialed everything back
to kind of take it easy onmyself. Everything's fine, thankfully, But

(08:54):
let me tell you what that wholeentire event, if you didn't hear in
one of my last episodes, thatwas the catalyst for me starting to eat
clean and healthy and eat as well, I mean cleanly as I can.
And you guys, I've lost likesixty pounds now since like eight months ago,

(09:15):
nine months ago, and it isinsane, like like just from that
and walking and I did you know. I've been starting my workout back up,
but then, like I said,I got sick, so I haven't
been able to do that, butI'm still losing weight really just the diet.
So if you need any inspiration onthat, or you want to reach

(09:35):
out and ask me, like whatexactly I eat and stuff like that,
feel free to reach out. Andyou know, maybe I'll do a show
about that one. I'm not sure, so it might be worth it.
So anyway, I just, youknow, wanted to put that disclaimer out
there also about the Sabrina Jenkins show, because the last thing I want to

(09:56):
do is alien eate anyone who's aChristian or anything like that, and don't
take it the wrong way, becauseit's really just meant for fun, you
know and po Yeah, so it'sreally just made for fun, and you
know, I think you're really goingto enjoy it. Like like I said,
as of this airing, it's goingto be up on the site.

(10:18):
The fifth episode will be up.You can literally go to radiolove dot com
and binge listen to all five ofthem, and it's also on YouTube.
I'll put the YouTube link on theRadio Love page. Also, because you
guys, anytime and you want todo like show ideas, I can also
do a call in with Sabrina ifyou guys want me to interview someone as
Sabrina and they won't know it's actuallyme and it's going to throw them off,

(10:41):
but yeah, take a listen.I had so much fun, okay,
doing the musical interludes at the beginningwith the heavenly music and then at
the end integrating Depeche modes my ownpersonal Jesus, and then the glass breaking
and then the wrapping it up,you know, all the sound effects I
put in it. Because people don'treally know my production chops like I don't.
I don't really get a chance toreally put some special effects and stuff

(11:03):
in there. Here. I'll giveyou some special effects right now. Okay,
so here is like you know, some kind of effects. Here's some
other effects, and I'll just giveyou this last one. Okay. So
um, but it's a lot offun when I get to get really really
creative and with Sabrina Jenkins. Youguys, this guy is a limit.

(11:24):
This is I think. I thinkthis is going to be such a splash
in the pond. Honestly, I'mlooking forward to and this is a little
inside for you, guys. I'mlooking forward to like calling in some other
radio shows and giving people advice onhow to be godly wives and maybe prank
call some people and really start pissoff some wives. You know what I
mean? Because um, you knowI should do like a thing where I

(11:48):
charge people for like a a session, a session with Sabrina and lessons for
godly wives. I just you, guys, I cannot wait for this anyway.
I want to thank you guys somuch for all your continued support.
I know that there are some ofyou that are just stoically there for me
in my life, and I reallyit means a lot. So I just

(12:09):
again, oh my god, thestove timer. I'm trying to boil some
shrimp right now anyway. Okay,so I think that's going to wrap up
this episode. And again I justwant to say thank you from the bottom
of my heart. Sorry, myvoice is kind of a wreck right now,
but I'm anticipating by this time nextweek it should be back clear Lord

(12:31):
Willing North Elmwood. Okay, guys, all the fathers out there, Happy
Father's Day and have a great weekend. And yeah, I think we got
a couple more episodes before the fourthof July. Let me see, we
have, yes, two more episodesbefore the fourth of July, so maybe
I'll think of some fun stuff todo on Schmidtalk. Okay, guys,

(12:52):
well, thank you so much again. I love you, and have a
good night. Ye
