Amelia, an Olympian, and Jess, a mother, from Exposure Skate, a nonprofit empowering women and girls through skateboarding, share their journeys and the challenges they faced in a male-dominated sport. Exposure Skate runs clinics, youth programs, and the world's largest women's skateboarding event, fostering resilience and community service. Their efforts have contributed to women's skateboarding gaining recognition, leading to its inclusion in the Olympics. Upcoming events include a free event in Encinitas on November 1 and 2.
