We had the Hall of Fame game this week. My
Detroit Lions, the team that I championed for once again,
was out on the field playing some damn football.

Excited, if you're not ready for preseason week one, which
we'll go over those games here in a minute.

What games to look forward to?

Its preseason. I love the preseason. I know it's glorified scrimmages.
I know we're not out there seeing actual football.

of Fame game to talk about, Detroit looking sloppy, the
Chargers looking ready to go. We've got players out there

But the Hall of Fame game, let's get into what
the Hall of Fame game looked like on Thursday night NBC.
Chris Colin Woodsworth once again, out there, Mike Tarico, out there,
all the guys doing their things. You know, it is

But the Chargers come out looking nice, thirty four to
seven beat down of the Lions, just whooped them in
the first game. One team looked ready, the other team
looked sloppy. Ain't nowhere else to put it. Trey Lance
came out, did he look great?

Thirteen of twenty one hundred and twenty yards, two touchdowns,
but much damn improved, looking like some tutelage from that.
Harbaugh is doing really nice for him.

Little backup option for Herbert if something goes down in
the season, the way he's progressing or looks to be.

He executed, he made good decisions, He had some touch
on his pass. We all know he can zip it.
We all know he can get it downfield. So there
were signs of improvement there for Trey Lance. Omaron Hampton
only a few carries, but he looks strong right. The
announcers talked about what he was looking like in practice
and how he's been in the offseason. You can tell

if he gets a hole, he's gonna be a legit
NFL running back.

How's the quarterback gonna come out? What does a backup
look like? What's their top pick gonna look like? Because
again I'm focusing on the Lions in this game, it's
the Hall of Fame game. I'm hyped, I'm going through
my normal routine.

I'm hopeful.

And then the ball got kicked off and we fumbled
an opening kickoff, and then we line up off sides,
and then we get the ball and we throw an interception,
and then we throw another interception, and then a new
quarterback starts throwing interceptions. Kyle Allen nine of fourteen for

ninety one yards, two interceptions, Hindon Hooker three of six
for eighteen yards and one interception. You know what you
get if you add Kyle Allen and Hindon Hooker, you
get no backup quarterback. The Lions better hope Jared Goff
does not go down. That's all I have to say.
If Jared Goff goes down, they're hurting. That was not promising.

Hendon Hooker's been in the system, he knows the language,
he knows the plays. There was no sign of improvement
in his play. Remember last year they chose to take
a high school football coach and put him in the
game over the guy who had been on the team
all year. He wants to talk about after the game.

third stringers. Maybe a couple second stringers sprinkled in there
for the Chargers, and then the four string guys that
really aren't going to do nothing. Kyle Allen had.

Craig Reynolds looks solid. He should one make this team
at the running back position unless you can get great

Has Saying looked pretty solid at the defensive endposition. He's
crashing down a little hard, trying to make the play,
trying to make a splash. But you could see the motor.
You do see the size difference, him being only six
foot six' two in that, range him being at the
end right, There but you saw the. Motor you saw

Rockyest Sin, look nobody ever said he couldn't, tackle. Right
we saw him make some nice tackles in this, game
