Speaker 1 (00:13):
Welcome in. This is the side of my shovel, and
the NFL season begins to night. All right. I know
not everybody's crazy like it I am. Not everybody loves
the NFL or football like I do. Baseball season's going on.

(00:35):
We've got less than thirty games left in the regular season.
Where's the excitement for that. I'll get excited for baseball
when the playoffs start tonight June fourth, or June fourth,
September fourth, twenty twenty five. It's football, That's what matters. Tonight,
we're all coming together. We're gonna watch Thursday Night Opening Night,

(00:57):
the Cowboys and the Eagles. It doesn't matter if you're
a Lions fan. It doesn't matter if you're a Broncos fan.
It doesn't matter if you're a Bucks fan, a Package fan,
a Saints fan. Tonight you're tuning in to the Cowboys
and the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. They're gonna
talk a lot about Michael Parsons, They're gonna talk a
lot about Dalen Hurts. You're gonna talk a lot about

(01:20):
sa Quon Barkley. I personally will be watching the Manning cast.
I've had enough of Trey Akeman and Joe Buck. I'd
got to mute the TV when they're on, then listen
to them. They're in They they've entered the Chris Collinsworth
space as far as announcers. But we've got the Cowboys

(01:43):
and we've got the Eagles tomorrow night Friday night on YouTube.
You've got the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles
Rams are Chargers. That's too early in this episode where
I've said the wrong date or the wrong team. They
should still just be in San Diego. That's the problem.
I'm trying to almost translate as I say the name
of the Chargers to the city that they're in for

(02:08):
the LA Chargers didn't even roll off the tongue. Well,
and the Kansas City Chiefs Tomorrow night Friday, opening weekend
in the NFL season. And maybe that's why the games
this week football suck. Maybe they figured out, you know,
less than schedule games on the NFL's opening weekend that

(02:28):
people really want to watch. But what got us here?
Cutdowns have happened, right, We've gone through training camp, we've
gone through cutdowns. We've trimmer rostered of fifty three fifty
whatever that number is we've trimmed it down to that
that dore real no surprises, right. Was anybody out there

(02:49):
really surprised by some of the players that their teams
cut or some of the players and ended up making
practice squads. Personally, I wasn't. I didn't think there was
that big shocker this year. Right. We did see players
like Tyler Huntley or Jordan Phillips in Buffalo, veteran Roger
receiver Robert Woods. Isaiah Simmons is having trouble finding a

(03:11):
team even though he was the first round pick. Right.
Some of these guys that have names we know Detroit,
Dan Skipper, he's back on the practice squad, right, Taylor Heineke,
He's gonna end up on somebody's roster at some point,
Cam Akers, Clyde Edwards, Hilaire, he's back in case, Marquez

(03:34):
Veldez scantling in San Francisco. And then there were some trades,
a few trades that went down during cutts. Tim Patrick
gets to go be a great leader for that Jacksonville
Jaguars receiver room. Right, it's Tim Patrick. You've got last
year's fie receiver standout. Brian Thomas Junior, You've got this

(04:00):
year Travis Hunter added to that room and Parker Washington
right now that's the receiver room with Damon Brown, Dami Brown.
So he gets to be that leader, he gets to
be that presence. He's the big target on that receiving court.

(04:20):
He's gonna teach these guys how to block. He's going
to teach these guys how to be professionals. It's going
to be huge for somebody like Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas,
who is only going to be in his second year
to get with a Tim Patrick learn how to be
a pro right, Help Trevor Lawrence as much as you
can help the running backs, Help Travis int help to

(04:41):
help Bigsby, help Allen Right. Receivers, receivers a block and
don't just take two steps off the line and give
up during a running play. Make a different difference. Ask
the Denver Broncos about Ed McCaffrey and Rod Woodson are rods.

(05:01):
It makes a difference. And if you get a receiver
who's gonna go out there and legitimately block, who's gonna
go out there and legitimately give his all in every play,
who's going to be the role model, who's going to
lead by example, like a Tim Patrick does, who is
a team first guy. Right when he left Denver, the
locker room was like, oh man, our guy he left
Detroit after playing in what fifteen games? Oh man, I

(05:23):
hate to see that guy go well at six five
two pounds in year eight, he's going to be the leader.
He's gonna be the veteran presence in that room. Is
he gonna get all the touches? No? Is that going
to impact how he plays, not one bit. He will
be the third option for that team. Brian Thomas is one,

(05:46):
Travis Hauster is going to be two. Tim Patrick's gonna
be three. The other guys you'll get your touches when
you get your touches, and he'll probably get more plays
at receiver right around the same amount of plays at
receivers Travis Suntra does by the end the year. Because
Travis is gonna be playing both sides foot ball, they're
gonna have to figure out when to sit him here,
when to sit him there, What plays he's gonna be

(06:07):
on on offense, what place he's gonna be on on defense.
Excited to see that, but I'm happy for Tim Patrick
to get that opportunity. It's not in Detroit, but you
get to go be either. You get to have an
impact on an organization. Then we saw what Adam Thieling
gets traded back to Minnesota. Mark Cooper goes back to

(06:29):
the Raiders, retires today. Didn't see that coming, but announces
his retirement. We see deals from mccluurin and Hendrickson, and
we see Parsons get traded to gleen Bay. Right, little
Jerry ball in action, trying to recreate the Herschel Walkers.
How much can we get? I shook hands with you

(06:52):
and you're not signing my deal because your agent said
not to. Well, I'm glad for Parsons that his agent
looked at all over and said, don't sign that. I'm
glad you shook hands with Jerry, but don't sign that.
That's what my job is. I'll negotiate the deals. Well,
Jerry got in his feelings. He's thinking he's gonna pull
off a walk or two point zero trade. He got

(07:14):
two picks and Kenny Clark back kudos, right position of need,
defensive tackle. Kudos. Kenny Clark hasn't been that guy. That
dude for two You could argue three years, really two
at least two, and you don't know what those two
picks are going to turn into. You know what Michael was.

(07:35):
We all know what Michael was. Now we hear about
the back right that was sitting the mount might get
an injection to play Detroit in week one. Then we
see the factice footage looks pretty quick, looks pretty nimble,
looks pretty bendy. Not seeing a whole lot of back
issues come out of that little bit of footage. We've
footage we've seen from the Packers training camp. As me

(07:56):
going hmm, this is one of those injuries we had
to play lay out because it was announced. That's why
he's been sitting out of practice, So let's just let
it be. It allowed Dallas, however, even with you know,
Jerry playing Jerry ball to resign a player like Duran,

(08:17):
a young guy. So free agents are watching where cowboys
are watching, going wait, you're not going to take care
of Mica. They're also now going, well, he did take
care of Dak, right, he still did that. He got
Duram Dron Blair signed nice contract, So we'll see how

(08:42):
it turns out. Dallas, right, we know, we know it's
a huge win for Green Bay. The player they're getting
the production he's had. If this back injury is just
something minor and he's able to play, we know what
to expect on the packer's side. We know they have

(09:04):
Rashaan Gerry on the other side. We know what a
pass rusher can do for a defense, for a secondary,
for an offense, gets them more opportunities, gets them more
touches of the ball. Right, he's gonna come in. He's
gonna have twelve to seventeen sacks. He's gonna want a
ball out. Shit. He don't want to show up in
week one like never before. If he can, and week four,

(09:25):
y'all better better get your damn popcorn ready beet for
green Bay. Dallas is going to be a game. Parsons
is going to make it a personal vendetta, in personal
mission to go out there and keep his former team
from beating his new team, to put Dak on the ground.

(09:46):
And he's gonna look up at Jerry. He wanted to
be in Dallas, by all accounts, wanted to be in Dallas.
Jerry shook his hand. Jerry thought he wanted to be
in Dallas. Micah said he wanted to be in Dallas.
Agent said he wanted to be in Dallas. They didn't
have any say on what team they were gonna get
traded to. Now they got one hundred and eight million,
one hundred and thirty three guarantee an annual yearly allotment

(10:10):
of forty seven million is the breakdown, and that's more
than Patrick Mahomes do. So it works out well for Parsons.
He's in a place that wanted him. He's in a
place that was gonna pay him the money that him
and his agent felt was fair based on the market,
based on his production, based on his age. Right, this

(10:31):
is gonna be year five, I believe for Parsons, maybe
year four. Now, all that being said, nice trade, Green Bay.
I appreciate you getting some talent there on the defense.
That's awesome. Good for you, But we'll see you in
week one because the North still goes through Detroit. It

(10:55):
just does I get it. They lost the defensive coordinator,
they lost an offensive coordinator. They don't have this, they
don't have that. Eight coaches turned over. The defense is
going to be back healthy though. Remember we went fifteen
and two with the guys on the practice squad playing defense.
We get a defensive back that had played in one

(11:18):
game or had one snap during the season playing in
a playoff game. Right, So these guys are back healthy
and it's not the exact same roster, but in some
ways we've gotten better. We are so deep at the
linebacker position week the Lions are so deep at the
linebacker position right now. I'm excited to see what this rendition,

(11:39):
healthy rendition of the Detroit Lions is going to bring
to the table. Do I think they're fifteen to two? No,
I don't think anybody in the NFL will go fifteen
in two this year. I think the Lions floor is
ten and seven. I think the ceiling is thirteen and four,
even with as difficult as their schedule is, because the
roster is that damn good. See you in week one,

(12:00):
Green Bay, but the North goes through Detroit. Hope, for
your sake, you get off to a fast start and
you're feeling yourself a little bit after Week one because
you got one on us. You've got one on the
lines that will benefit you for the rest of the
season when you're looking up at us the rest of
the time. So cutdowns are done, trades have happened, Teams

(12:24):
have gotten better, Teams we might not know what they're
gonna be. It all brings us to tonight right Week
one of the NFL season begins tonight, and there's other
football news I'll talk about here in a second. I
want to talk about Week one and week two in

(12:45):
college football. I want to give a brief mentioned class
the class in Paris, and I got a shout out
to get to too. But it brings us to week
one and again every year on each rendition of my show.
Now we'll deal sports talk with JP and now Sideline Shuffle.
I make picks. I don't condone betting. I don't bet myself.

(13:08):
I don't even do fantasy football anymore. Used to do
a fantasy football league for the show, did that for
a few years. Ultimately I just I don't know. I
pretty much outgrew it. But I do like to make picks.
I do like to know put my ideas out there.
So each week up the picks. Normally I'll put the
show out on Wednesdays. This week it's right before game time,

(13:30):
so you guys might not hear this before the game
actually hits your televisions, before it's on your eyes, before
you feel the adrenaline pumping through your chest and that
kickoff happens, and you go through whatever ritual you have,
take a shot, crack of beer, have a drink, cheer
somebody a sandwich. Whatever your thing is. You might not

(13:51):
hear this prior to that, and that's okay. But if
you bet great, do your thing like I have nothing
against it. At one point I did. It's just not
my thing anymore. So if it's yours, do it. If
you need help, get it. But please don't come to
me saying I took your word on the picks and

(14:11):
didn't work. I'm not telling you my picks so that
you can go, you know, act as if it's gospel
and put all your money on it and morget your
house away. This is just how I see it. This
is my breakdown. Let's start a discussion on it, right,
get at go to sideline so I'll dot that. Find
us some blue sky, and let's start a discussion. This week,

(14:36):
I will take San Francisco over Seattle. I think Seattle
is still trying to figure out exactly what they're going
to do. They had some big changes, right, new quarterbacks
in place. Top receivers aren't there anymore. San Francisco is
a little more complete. I like their coaching a little
bit better. I'm excited for Roberts later be back in

(14:57):
charge of that defense. Coule Shanahan's one of the best,
if the best, play callers in the NFL. So excited.
What San Francisco is gonna be this year? Right? Will
they return to Dominus? Do they take over that NFC West,
Because right now you hear about people talk about the
NFC West and it's like, Oh, anybody's gay. I think
San Francisco takes that division this year, and I think

(15:19):
they start Week one at Seattle in the noise with
the twelfth Man and come home one another. I'm gonna
take Atlanta to beat Tampa Bay, big surprise, shocker. I
think that's an upset this week and that might be
their biggest win of the season, not their only, but

(15:41):
might be the biggest win of the season to beat
that Tampa Bay team, because I do think Tampa Bay
wins that division. I'll take Carolina over Jacksonville. I think
New Orleans beats Arizona. Somebody's got to win that game.
Arizona's typically the last few year has been kind of
a slow starting team. New Orleans Spencer Rattler, not a

(16:02):
lot of positive tape that you can pull from. I
think Arizona tries to confuse him. I think they've blitz him,
try and throw them off his game a little bit.
I'll take Detroit to beat Green Bay. Of course, that's
my squad. I don't pick against him. I might tell
you week to week that the other team has a

(16:23):
really good chance. I think this week Detroit has a
really good chance to once again go into Lambeau film
come out with a victory. I think this is a
team that's being undersold. I think this is a team
that's underappreciated, and I think they're gonna use that as
motivation to go out and do something about it. Unfortunately,
it's Green Bay. It's Jordan Love, it's Matthew Golden, it's Jacobs,

(16:45):
it's Gary, it's Michael Parsons. Right, they got a lot
of names. They're gonna be a really good team, no
doubt about it. NFC North is a good division. Everybody
knows the hype around Chicago. Minnesota is still gonna be
good even with JJ McCarthy. But like I said a
few minutes ago, the North still goes through Detroit, let's

(17:08):
not get it twisted. I'll take Philadelphia to beat Dallas tonight.
I think the defending champs and what Dallas is going on,
I think Philadelphia gets it. I think dallas Is secondary
receivers will challenge Philadelphia's secondary a little bit. But that
defensive line, man, they are special, they are good, and

(17:28):
if they come to play, they're gonna wreck Dallas. I'll
take Washington to beat the Giants. I think Baltimore goes
into Buffalo and steals one. No cold Weather to deal with.
Baltimore's entire roster is a little bit more talented to
me than Buffalo. I'd be like, gave Davis coming back
to the practice without getting him another Josh Allen, another

(17:51):
target he's familiar with, not a weapon he can just
rotate in. I do like that. But I think Baltimore
gets game one. I think Cincinnati goes into Cleveland wins.
I think Aaron Rodgers gets one of the gets a
win this week against the Jets. I know that's supposed
to be a storyline, but Pittsburgh beats the Jets this week.

(18:13):
Got a lot of road teams winning this week. Actually,
I got Miami going into Indianapolis and pulling out that win. Again,
that's one of those games like Arizona New Orleans, somebody's
gotta win it. These aren't teams were really looking at
being postseason favorites in any way. Miami Indianapolis, I don't
see it. Indianapolis to me is gearing for the number

(18:35):
one pick. I have a conspiracy theory they're trying to
get arch Manning. But I think Miami goes in there wins.
I think Denver beats Tennessee this week and it might
be a blowout. I think they're gonna mess with cambore
A lot. They're gonna pressure him, They're gonna disguise things,
They're gonna switch stuff up after the snap, right, They're

(18:58):
gonna test the rookie. Tennessee is a team that wants
to be physical. Denver is a group of Mustangs. All
they know is get to the ball, and that's how
the coach fans Joseph plays them. Patrick stay on the
back end. Look, it's gonna be a long day for Tennessee.

(19:21):
In my opinion, I think Kansas City wins on Friday
Night in LA. I think Vegas goes to New England
and wins, and I'll take Houston to beat the Rams
because I have I have a feeling about Houston's defense
this year. Let's just put it that way. My sleeper

(19:41):
is one of the top defenses in the league. So
those are my picks. That's why I see the games
playing out this week. We'll see, right, We'll see. I'm
not always right. Some weeks I get most of them
all my best week, I might get thirteen or fourteen right.
I don't think I've ever picked every game correct. If
you have, kudos, congratulations. Let's start a conversation. Pick me up.

(20:03):
Let's get you on the show and talk about how
you go about picking games. Love to have the conversation.
Just let me know other NFL news. Of course, I
gotta shout out Robert Porchet. I have his jersey hanging
in my closet, one of my all time favorite defensive
linemen from the Detroit Lions, will be joining the Pride

(20:23):
of the Lions. That's like their their personal Hall of Fame,
their ring the fame type situation. He'll be joining that
long list, proud list of Lions with grit that includes
players like Lam Barney and Dutch Clark and Dick Knight,
Train Lane and Yale, Larry and Bobby Lane and Barry Sanders,
Charlie Sanders, Joe Dope, Walker, Dick Lebau, Jason Hansen, Alex

(20:49):
Kris Herman, Moore, Chris Spielman, Lois Brown, Calvin Johnson. Who
that's some names. Some of them were coaches, some of
them were players, some of them were both long storied history.
So proud of Robert Borchet joining the pride of the

(21:10):
Lions there, and let's let's give a round of applause.
Can we give a round of applause? Please? For Taylor
Swift and Travis Kelsey, just one more. I know some
people are out there, you know what what the boot

(21:32):
the boo, But let's let's give some applause, right, Let's
give some applause. Travis Kelsey, Taylor Swift, the NFL and
entertainment worlds romanticic couple of the moment. Taylor Swift ends
up playing the Super Bowl Great, who cares? The Music's

(21:55):
not that bad, She's not that bad on the eyes.
And if you stop being basically jealous, it's just a
halftime show. Give her the platform, Let the league make
a bunch of money, Let your owners get more money.
Let them. Put that money in the hands of the

(22:17):
players and make your team better so they can be
playing in the Super Bowl and you can bitch and
one about somebody else's girlfriend getting to play fiance wife
getting to play the halftime show. I think it's great
that they made the announcement. I think it's great the
way they went about it. I think it's great that
they've been able to have this relationship in the public

(22:39):
eye and it hasn't fallen apart. None of us know
the pressures or what they go through to be able
to make something like that work. Half of you listening
are scared to walk out to a woman in a
bar or in a public place and say hi, my
name is so the fact they can do all of
this in the public eye while gossip calling this andmographers

(23:00):
and fans and this and that are following them around
and making comments and posting and adding them and tweeting them,
and blah blah blah. Who goes to the young couple. Man,
Let them do their damn thing and have some fun.
You're not in the relationship. Stick to being a sports fan.

(23:20):
If you don't like it, guess what else you can do.
This is a fun you can mute it or you
can turn the channel. Just putting that out there, but
kudos to the couple. College football Week one not Week zero.
You know how I feel about Week zero. Week one,
we had a few games, right, We had the Texas

(23:42):
Ohio State game, Top twenty five matches, Clemson LSU top
twenty five matches, Notre Dame Miami, top twenty five matchup,
Alabama Florida State game. Everybody's kind of like, oh, we'll
see And then of course the big Bill Belichick game
on Monday night versus TCO. As UNC took on the

(24:02):
horn Frogs Ohio State. The defense is legit. They played
like they were disrespected. They played like I expect Detroit
to play on someday, a team that has been overlooked.
You're gonna put the defending national champions third. You can
put Texas, who we beat, above us. You talk all

(24:24):
about arch Manning and not us coming into this game, Well,
they made arch Manning look less than average. Right. Texas
never got into legit play secretcing. They never got enough
of an offense rolling against the Ohio State defense to
really do anything. Starkesian could not get the plays going.

(24:51):
Arch had pressure in his face was just he was
making good reads. Honestly, he was getting the ball to
the right outlet because things downfield were just cut. They
were bracketed two three guys on all the medium rounds.
All you had was the dump off, and half the
time he's thrown over the top of a guy because
there's a helmet in his chest. So he looked lost.

(25:13):
He looked at a place, he looked like the moment
was too big. That's how he'd looked. But that's how
that Texas team looked. Now they can't fight. I'm give
him credit for that. They didn't just give up and
go home. But Ohio State looked much better than Texas
did in Week one. LSU Clemson. Clemson was also another

(25:35):
team that was ranked too hot. LSU comes in and Beta.
Both are gonna be solid teams. Both are gonna have
good years, but Clemson's not on that level. Notre Dame
Miami a six six. Again, both teams should have good seasons.

(25:56):
Both teams uh played the well. Actually, Miami looked better
than they did last year. Miami looked hungry and I
think they came and they punched Notre Dame into mouth.
Notre Dame did what they could to stay in that game,
to be competitive, to keep it close, but ultimately Miami

(26:19):
was better prepared and wanted it a little bit more.
They had that little bit of extra that coaches talk about,
I need you to give me everything you got plus on.
Miami had that. Florida State put it on Alabama. Put
it on unranked Florida State put it on Alabama. That

(26:43):
was not a good loss for Alabama. They went plummeting
in the bolls. It's a huge win for Florida State.
This team that hasn't been able to do anything that
a couple of years ago when they made it to
the College Football Playoff got destroyed and everybody was like, see,
you didn't deserve to be The last year was a disaster.

(27:05):
And this was a team through the nineties and early
thousands that was always in that top MASX, right, that
top fifteen, top ten, top five conversation. Well, they put
it on Alabama. We'll see what they can continue doing
moving forward. And then they have a linebacker get shot
in the back of the head. I think I read
about over the weekend after the game Saturday or something

(27:27):
like that, so well, I don't know if he was
a starter or what, but I vaguely remember reading something
about that this week. And then Bill Belichick was out
and opening offensive possession and drive down the field seven
to nothing. They get nothing pretty much until garbage time.

(27:52):
After that put fourteen points, TCU goes forty plus. TCU
did not want to have another Colorado type game like
in twenty twenty three. They were not trant to have
this underdog beat them. Come in. They're like, we might
be on the road, but you're not gonna beat us
just because you have Bill Belichick. Again, all the conversation,

(28:15):
just like in the Ohio State Texas game, all of
it being about Arch. All of the conversation about this
TCU and c game was Bill Belichick. It's Bill Belichick,
which I get seven super bowls in twenty years, storied
NFL career, been coaching football for what five decades or something,

(28:41):
so it's understandable. But you can also then see how
the TCU squad and the coaches use that as motivation
to go, will hell, what about us? Where a better team?
Where's the conversation about us? We're gonna make the conversation.
And that's what they did. They went out and they
changed the conversation and how they played in that game,

(29:03):
and you n ceased for what we all now see
on social media's ridicule hazing. They became the clown after
that game. So they would a lot of work to do.
Bill Belichick's got a lot of work to do. That
was not good, and the starting quarterback didn't play well either.
That kid who broke his leg came in at the end,

(29:24):
who was willing to throw the ball and made the
reads a little faster, played much better. I wouldn't be
surprised to see you and see eventually moved his way,
just on how week one went. I don't think you
make the move into week two, but I think if
you continue to see a pattern you're in week three
going into work four, you might make a permanent switch

(29:45):
there at the quarterback position for the Tar Heels. Now,
this week no big games, I said right opening week
of the NFL, and college did not schedule big games.
I mean the two games that kind of looked interesting
this week. He got a top twenty five matchup with
Michigan and Oklahoma. And then for me personally being a
U n C grad, you got un C and C
and this isn't the Tar Hills un see this is

(30:07):
northern Colorado, so an in state matchup there, and then
a Top twenty five matchup with Michigan and Oklahoma. Outside
of that, most of the games are soft this week.
Most of the games are easy wins for the f
or for the FS one programs, FBS, excuse me, programs.
I got too many things up on my screen, so

(30:29):
Week two soft. But that's okay. The NFL's back. We've
got plenty of football to watch. I've been reminding everybody
that lives in my house all week. Thank you to
my beautiful wife for being so understanding. Thursday night football,
Friday night football, college football, Saturday Sunday football, Monday night football.
You know, just just keeping it relative, keeping it at

(30:49):
the top of the minds that this is happening. We
are back to this time of the year. I don't
know if you remember. Make a little shuffle real quick.
Last week week before I talked about aw's pl Forbidden
Door being quite possibly the best pl that's taken place

(31:12):
by either company in quite some time. That came right
on before WW put out Class in Paris, which again
nice production, nothing special. I think all that really came
out of that. For me is the idea that what's

(31:33):
her name, aj Lee seeing Punk's wife, is coming back
to the WW. Right, you see Becky Lynch get in
the ring this week and smack Punk all over the place. Well,
where does that go? Right? Because the WW doesn't do
men versus women matches every now and then. You might
get a Naya Jacks or Beth Phoenix or something like

(31:54):
that who gets in the ring and has a quick
thirty second ninety second appearance, but they don't really do
those matches mixed matches every now and then, but it's
not really their thing, right, So why is she and
there smacking them around? Why are there so many rumors
and sightings and things and people wanting her to come
back still for the last decade plus or around that. Well,

(32:17):
to me, it's obvious either at this event they're doing
with ESPN or at the next pl they have a
j Lee Cmpunk are going to be taking them on
seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. It's set up. It's there.
They're putting it in our face. I don't know about you,
but me personally, my mind likes to connect dots, sometimes wrong,

(32:41):
sometimes right. But we connect dots right, the brain fills
in gaps to make things make sense. Well, this makes
that what we saw on Monday night makes sense. Otherwise,
why is Becky getting involved? Finally, after all these years
of being with Seth, they finally do something where she
comes in gives a goal from behind to have Seth

(33:08):
continue to win the title. And they're not going to
take that storyline somewhere somewhere where it is a mixed
tag match. I don't see that being the case. And
the logical thing if it's husband and wife is for
another husband and wife to be those in that match.
So that's really all that came out of class in Paris.
It was an okay average pl. It was not forbidden door.

(33:32):
Forbidden door still for twenty twenty five the top pl
easy for me next week on next week's show. I
think I was talking to Pops today. He had given
me his rankings for quarterbacks a couple of days ago.
I said to come up with a list. I shared
with him today, and I've never done this before on

(33:53):
either rendition of my show. But I think what's gonna
happen next week is I'll give my rankings to the
quarterbacks in the NFL through thirty two. I don't think
that I will update it week to week on the show,
but I will update it throughout the season and happen
to be a floating topic that we shuffle back to
every now and then. So next week look for that

(34:15):
my top my rankings of the thirty two starting quarterbacks
as of week one in the NFL. And then before
I get out of here today, I want to give
a big shout out to my guy, Ian Martin over
at the Passion of the Nerd. If you don't follow
that channel on YouTube or on various podcasting platforms, please

(34:37):
go do great things that he's doing. But I really
appreciate him. He took me up with some green screens
and some lighting and some different things to help me
get my YouTube channel going again. That Ian Martin Passion
of the Nerd, great little show. He does lots of viewers.
He holds different panels and questionnaires that he's done on

(35:00):
with different comic cons and things like that that he's
been a part of. I'm probably staying the wrong terms,
forgive me. He covers Buffy the Vampires there specifically, and
if your age thirty five to forty five, you've seen
an episode of that show and or remember the original
movie from mid to early nineties. So again, thank you

(35:23):
for your help there Ian, check out the Passion of
the Nerd on YouTube and all of the podcast platforms.
That's what I got for you today. Go enjoy the
football game, enjoy the weekend. We're coming off of a
short work week for many of us because of Labor Day.
I appreciate you listening. We'll shuffle back next week and

(35:45):
I'm out the intent, the intent, intent,
