Once again, all eyes are on Israel and specifically Jerusalem. When President Trump authorized and then followed through on his promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem, most of the world’s nations shrieked in feigned horror at the thought of a sovereign nation desiring to have their diplomatic stations located in her capital.

As hard as the world powers try, they are never able to overcome the Jewish nation. Surrounded by sworn enemies on every side, the nation of Israel continues to thrive in a world that increasingly denounces her.

What must Christians do in times such as these? What does the Bible say about the nation of Israel and those who support and oppose her? Does Israel matter today to God?
