(00:00):
My guess at this time is very, very busy. I mean the man
is has been hustling since the ageof twelve, not only musically, but
also he's been you know, he'she's so Lemonade back in the day as
well, and he's a CEO ofhis own company as well. I mean,
it's he says a lot of stuff. Is last single paint Um has
(00:21):
over one hundred thousand views on YouTube, which is a great, great thing
as well. We got a littlelily on what was with right now?
How you doing? Little? I'mgood? I'm good. How are you
good? Now? Yeah, you'vebeen out, You've been out the past
couple of couple of weeks doing someconcerts. How's how's the attendant's been and
how's it? How's it be ableto kind of get back on stage?
(00:44):
It feels good, you know,it's always fun performing I love performing it.
It feels good. I mean theenergy is still there, you know,
as in the crowd like you know, and yeah, it's it's good.
It's dope. Now. During duringduring the past year, I mean,
have you been doing have been usingyour time to do slot more new
music? What's been what's been happeningin your role for the past year,
(01:08):
brainstorm and more fashioned ideas shipping outorders, Yeah, making music for sure.
Yeah. I mean I'm just reallybeen busy. You know, I'm
gonna I'm a busy man. Youknow. Just I got a studio in
my room now so I could practiceand then you know, take it into
(01:32):
the real studio. So yeah, you know, I talked to quite a
few you know, hip hop artistson the show, and many talk about
the idea of you know, beingable to get beats from around the world
from other people, you know, and collaborating that way via the internet.
I mean, is that something thatyou do? Oh yeah, I either
know like some producers, or I'llgo on a website that's like made just
(01:56):
for beats, so you know,we'll start writing to them. Yeah,
I mean that's absolutely great. Tellme a little bit about how, you
um, how how the cashing linestarted. Well, my mom's uh seamstress,
so I don't know, I justI'll just make I just brainstorm a
lot um. I don't know. She's always been into fashion and stuff like
(02:19):
that, and so why so Ijust you know, we just formed a
little duo or whatever, and nowwe we got our own companies. You
know, our companies are really kindof like together though, like type Deal.
But yeah, Lillian Raven Clothing,Lemonade millionaires. Yeah, I mean
(02:40):
where do you draw? Draw youa lot of your inspiration, inspiration from
a lot of the posts that youwear. I mean, do you,
um, you know, kind ofsee what the fashion trends are on the
street. Um rather you know, obviously you said their ideas trying to kind
of put you the fumbling through yourhead, I mean kind of being tell
me some of your inspiration behind someof your clothes. I mean, yeah,
maybe I'll I will see something,uh and then like want to put
(03:02):
a little twist to it, oryou know, maybe something's trending, put
a twist to it or you know. But a lot of the things I
make, this just it's really justlike raw from from my brain. Like
I don't know, I just I'ma very creative person. So I just
think of something and I have towrite it down or because I think about
(03:23):
too much stuff a day, soyou know, yeah, you know I
get that way too, just likeI've always have a lot of ideas all
that as well, So I understandthat as well. Um, I mean
it's just starting out with the business. I mean, you know, what
were some of the things some ofthe hurdles that you had to uh you
had to kind of overcome to startthe clothing line. Hurdles, hurdles,
(03:46):
hurdles, hurdles. I mean,it wasn't not really like h I don't
know, I guess making a website, uh, market, I don't know,
it kind of wasn't It wasn't thathard because you know, I already
knew a lot of people and thenyou know, so it was kind of
(04:08):
easy to like spread myself out.But you know, oh yeah, I
don't think there was really any hurdles. Maybe I'm missing something, but yeah,
well, I mean I always alwayssurround yourself with smart people. That's
always important. So you know, wherever you have you have some kind of
problem, and it's always nice tohave so many you know, in your
back pocket to help you out withsome of those stuff as well. I
(04:30):
mean starting out, you know,at twelve, you know, selling lemonade
and all that as well. Imean that's sorry. I started you out
as being a business person as well. How was it for you to you
know, how is for you tolearn learn from? You know, earning
money early on and now you know, kind of being a CEO of your
own company. Did you guys, have you have any lessons that you took
from the Irish and initially doing thelemonade stand, Like, how was it
(04:55):
transitioning to now? Um, youknow some of the things that you've taken
from from being you know, learninghow to run a business like you know,
like selling lemonade and and you know, profiting off of that. That
translated over to what you're doing now. Some of the lessons you learned early
on. Well, you can't justgo anywhere. I mean you can you
can't just go anywhere and sell lemonadebecause you know, that's how you pack
(05:17):
up and move. You gotta juststay focused, you know, really be
into what you're doing, because ifyou don't have a drive for it,
then you're not You're you're going togive up easy keep producing. Yeah,
Location is always important, you know, I mean it's you know, in
knowing where to sell and who youraudiences know, who your customer are is
(05:38):
very important as well. And obviouslythat kind of translates over to your clothing
line because you're obviously thinking about what'scool and what what what you know,
your friends or your your customer basemight think. So that's obviously a huge,
huge thing. So it's that's greatto be able to hear as well,
and you know, expanding as well. I mean, I'm pretty sure
that once the business that's successful, you started thinking a little little bit bigger.
(06:00):
Let's talk a little bit about yourrap music. I mean, like
I said, you've been kind of, you know, kind of you know,
writing lyrics and all that as Well'syou know, how long I mean,
how long have you been kind ofwriting lyrics and stuff like that?
Since you were younger? I'd probablysay, like since I was ten,
Like, I don't know, I'lljust say something and it sounded good,
(06:23):
so I'll just write it down orwrite on a piece of paper stuff like
that, you know. Yeah,And do you still keep those note books
around? You said, Do Ikeep note books around? Yeah? I
mean now I just I just typeit on my phone on my notes.
Sure. Do you have some ofthose old older notes that you may have
had when you're ten, Yeah, somewhere in my room right now. I
(06:46):
mean, if you do, youdo you sometimes go back to the old
stuff that you maybe you didn't finda place for maybe on some of your
earlier music that you decided to maybehe was now because you found a place
for it. Oh no, notreally. Yeah, how have you how
have your own a little bit asan artist? Obviously when you were younger,
(07:08):
you know, you've had a littlebit of a different perspective. But
now now that you're older and youknow, you know, running a company
and really kind of gotten that experienceunder your belt, how has it been
for you to um to grow asan artist? I've been really like,
all right, I don't know,like been, I just I just dropped
(07:28):
stuff, you know, like Ijust I just dropped. You know,
however the media takes it, orhowever people take it, they take it,
and it seems to be doing good. You know, I have two
on a k on paint right now. I just dropped La Drill. It's
that twenty eight K. So youknow. Yeah, And how's it been
for you to um with your fans, interact with your fans on social media?
(07:51):
And you know, how's it beenfor you to uh to kind of
hear some of the reaction you've beengetting from fans. It feels pretty good.
I don't know, I've been fansof people so you know, like
it just feels good to have myown fans, you know, it feels
dope. How's it been for youto fishoot music videos for your for your
(08:13):
music? How's it been the fishfor music videos? Yeah? How has
it been did to shoot me musicvideos for your for your music? Oh?
That's like probably one of my favoriteparts shoot music videos. Having concepts
ideas of where to go and whatto do and yeah, and like the
cameraman like also putting his input onwhat we should do. You know,
(08:39):
I saw a good teamwork. Yeah, I mean that's great to hear obviously.
Like you said, well, Iover one hundred thousand views over with
paint on there as well. It'sgotta be exciting for you. Yeah.
