Eller det gør vi ikke, men det gør Nikolai, Ida og Oscar (og Ole).
De skal nemlig til Nepal.
Hvorfor? Jo, rent praktisk skal de lære unge nepalesiske spejdere, om at være spejder i Danmark, og så skal de lære lidt om at være spejder i Nepal.
Men det er ikke hele grunden. Og det her vi kommer nærmere til podcastens titel: Den højere mening. For der er en god grund - og det handler om hele grundlaget for spejderbevægelsen.
Grunden til at vi nogen gange bliver kaldt for verdens største fredsbevægelse...
Hvad den præcis er - den højere mening - det udforsker vi i en serie på tre afsnit. I dette her første afsnit møder vi Ida, Oscar og Nikolai i lille Danmark, hvor de forbereder turen og tænker over det store "hvorfor"?
Senere skal vi så høre, hvordan det går, når deres store tanker møder virkeligheden, efterhånden som vi bevæger os højere og højere op mod de sneklædte bjergtinder.
