Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
That the hour is and colony, when.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Men will become machine, a new one world order will rise,

I saw a tiny free program for future chips, so thin.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Alrighty guys, this is the Basham Report. Here spear Force
live on the mountains, and hey would County the place
where Hurricane Helene blazed through. And we're still recovering. We're
still getting back to normal, just like after COVID, and
just like after the stolen election, and just like after Obama.

(01:18):
And we're here not to talk about the lockdowns, or
the deadly vaccines or the just the the lies of
the enemy that are so pervasive, so just over the top.
We are here to talk about the spiritual weapons, how

(01:39):
to overcome the Holy Spirit, the gift of speaking in tongues,
the desire that God has for you to be well,
the power of healing, where to find it, how to
get that spiritual power to fight against those forces of
darkness and all those things. Saddest thing is after twenty

(02:00):
years abroad coming back to America. It's like there's a
the level of darkness is people don't even understand that
they're in the darkness. You know, what's the verse? He says,
If that light which which is in you be darkness,
how great is that darkness? And so it's a real war,
and a lot of it is not against obviously most

(02:21):
of it, almost all of it is not against flesh
and blood. That's why we don't really get political very
much anymore or make things about, you know, things of
this world which are passing away. And I don't even
date the shows anymore because I think I think a
lot of what we're sharing here doing my Obama by accident.

(02:43):
I continue to believe that a lot of a lot
of what we're talking about here is uh. It's something
that is going to be useful after Jesus Christ comes
back and uh for that millennial reign of Christ, just
as Obama was in s And this is not politics.
I'm talking about the actual historical fact that Obama, who

(03:09):
was installed by the Alphabet mafia, the CIA, the ABC, Google, ABC, Facebook,
just as they installed him. So the Lord is able
to put the people that he wants into authority around

(03:30):
this world for that millennial period of time. So it's
a very interesting time that we're living in. And we
are broadcasting from the rec Center in Waynesville, North Carolina,
because I can't get to my studio today again because
my uncle's an idiot. Just joking this this quote from

(03:51):
Napoleon Dynamite. It's like something he can't Napoleon Dynamite can't
do something. And the reason is always because my uncle's
an idiot. All right, Well, the Lord is coming back
and he's going to put his governors into position around
this world. I've been around this world, and I've seen
a lot of places that I love, and I would

(04:12):
love to get property there and have somebody that I
can work with. In Tokyo, in the mountains of Japan,
in the rice fields of Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan, all
over in China north where we live nearby, Siberia, in
the subtropics of Taiwan, up and down that island, all

(04:35):
those beautiful mountains there. On and on the list goes India, Nepal, Floridy, Californi,
even the beautiful East coast of North Carolina, the Wilmington area,
which I visited and we prayed over the Atlantic and

(04:55):
this planet. I mean, it really comes down to this.
The Word of God is alive. This Bible that I'm
holding in my hands, I'm brandishing it publicly. People like, oh, no, religion,
Well that's the darkness speaking people are really I mean,
it's it's like you know, walking around in a shopping

(05:17):
center with an open carry. That's kind kind of the
feeling people get, even Christians, when you have a Bible
in public. It's kind of shameful. It's shameful that that
has that's the level to where we've gone. Meanwhile, you
have people walking around celebrating Allah publicly, and people are

(05:37):
Americans are so afraid to be offensive that they they've
just i mean, they the enemy thought Charlie Kirk was
going to be like a shut the f up to Christians.
I'm seeing more people get bold because of Charlie and
the Word of God is alive and we're supposed to
be putting this into our into ourselves day and night.

(06:01):
The Word isn't just something that you go to church.
And what was that British cop that said you you
can only sing Christian songs in church? Well, those churches
better be full twenty four hours a day and singing
all the time like Asbury, because this world, the darkness,
the pervasive darkness, the level of depravity and sickness, and

(06:24):
just people suing people Christians even there is so much
work to be done. There is so much of this
word to get installed into us. And unless you start
making this your life, you will go down with the
ship of the rest of this world. Because the next big.

Speaker 7 (06:41):
Klaus Schwab Cybe lockdown that is coming to Core nineteen
lockdown will be nushing compared to coming siber lockdown.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Man, where is some klau Schwab when you need him?
What happened to him? He is so funny, all these
like Saturday Morning cartoon villains like Bill Gates will if
we can just spray the vaccines on people from the
sky and doctor Foci, you gonna do what I does

(07:20):
you to do?

Speaker 7 (07:22):
A boss is not gonna be too happy.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
I mean, what's boss look like? Is Lucifer and his
council somewhere? Does he like have this like Craven, you know,
when he doesn't have all of his armor of light
pretend light the angel of light, deceiving people like some
used car salesman, isn't he's some kind of like when

(07:45):
people actually see Satan, doesn't the Bible say that he's
like this craven sniveling Like what this is the guy?
This is the guy. He's the one that deceived the
nations NA get out of town. They're gonna be walking
by him, they're gonna be like, I can't believe it's

(08:06):
this guy, Like how on earth? How did we? But anyway,
I mean, they're they're getting rid of I have a
friend that actually went to Georgetown recently and the opening
speaker was Anthony Fauci, believe it or not, and they
were clapping for him. It's pretty embarrassing. But you know what,

(08:26):
we're gonna see another entourage of incoming. You know, we'll
have our Saturday Morning cartoon villains come back. They're just
gonna look a little differ, a little bit different, but
they report to the same boss. So we're gonna see
that the need for not just info wars, not just

(08:51):
not just dare I even just say, not only Bible teachers.
We're gonna need Bible teachers like we've never needed them before,
but we're to need people who can pray, pray in
the spirit and pray with the understanding. And that's kind
of where we're going with with this kind of landing
the plane a little bit. Actually, we're still taking off

(09:12):
forward thrusters.

Speaker 8 (09:13):
Are we getting those thrusters going? Okay, let's see here,
hold on, let's let's see what we got. Let's see
see we got this, we.

Speaker 7 (09:20):
Got Okay, okay, let's see here.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Okay, okay, okay, all right, thank you lord. It is
a good thing to get used to carrying your Bible
outside in public, don't you know. Don't be like you
don't have to be obnoxious with people and force them
to But part of the fun of doing this is

(09:49):
like and people are walking by and they're like, what
the heck is he talking about? Because we jump around
pretty fast from Elon to Ai to aliens to ghosts
and and then just boots in the ground mission work.
Like there's so much going on, and I mean it
all kind of condenses. In these mountains. Everything feels more
intense for some reason because of just there's only one

(10:11):
road that goes through the valley, and then there's one
road that goes down the mountain, one road that goes
to Tennessee, and one and one and one, and so
you're always seeing the same people and pretty soon and
this is a convergence itself. This Waynesville rec Center. Excuse me,
I rint out of coffee, so I'm drinking doctor Diet
doctor Pepper. With Lord Jesus, I thank you that this

(10:35):
drink is not harming my body. This is not a
commercial for doctor Pepper. It's just that I have no
other caffeine source around here except for like Starbucks five
dollars diabetes Bucks with like eighty grams of sugar or something.
All Right, I'm gonna just go through this really mysterious,

(10:59):
but it's very I mean it's actually very practical because
one of the things that you can do is if
you go to church, and if it's like one of
those like neutered gospel churches where they don't even preach
the power of the Holy Spirit or that Jesus said
raise the dead. I mean, just let's think about that
for one thing, like he commands us to do that. Well,

(11:20):
one thing you can do is just speak quietly and politely.
I mean, you don't have to jump around and be
obnoxious about it, but you can. You can pray in
tongues quietly and there is a power that is released
by that. And one of the things that I'm learning
about my grandfather wrote thirteen books about the Holy Spirit
and spiritual warfare and deliverance and praying and tongues, and

(11:44):
we're working on getting his ministry back online. If you
want to donate to or just share the link Give
send Go. I think it's kind of a fun inspiring
web page. But give send go dot com slash bash.
That's my name, Michael barsham b h A A M.

(12:07):
I should get on AM radio so I could do
if they still have AM radio. It's bersham b is
like I am on I AM Radio. Hillelujah. I just
got a phone call from Give send Go yesterday. They
actually called me and they said, hey, thank you for
using our service, and can we pray for you? And

(12:29):
her name was Lois or Louise, sweet sweet lady, and
she just wanted to pray and she said, look, we
saw your page and you're doing a billion dollar fundraiser
and God bless you and we like it. And she
just called me to pray for me. Gives Send go
the free speech fundraisers, not the gofund me, which is

(12:51):
an accursed, you know, basically an alphabet mafia agency. But
we're the bashums. I mean, this is where we're going
with this. And people think, oh, well that was just
like a charismatic thing on the discipleship program. No, there
are churches and young ministers raised up like in their

(13:13):
twenties thirties that they know of my grandfather and they've
hunted me down through Omega Man. Anyway, there's a lot
to talk about, but I'm just going to get into
just the first Corinthians to sequence, and there's a lot
a lot here, like if you make this part of

(13:33):
your target, part of your goal and your daily life
to don't be afraid of repetition, like you get into
the same thing. I mean, we're at the gym. People
are coming in and out, they're going working out, and
you got to get used to the idea of exercise
and repetition in order to build up muscle or you know,
burn the fat. And the final thing of that is

(13:56):
your body is working good and you can get around,
doesn't matter how old you are, you just your body's
doing what it's supposed to be doing. And hopefully you're
eating right and hopefully you're not drinking a diet doctor
pepper with aspertain in it. Thank you Lord, that if
they shall drink any any poison thing, that shall not
harm them. So let's look at this sequence, because I've

(14:22):
been doing a couple of year study now on the
Proverbs thirty one woman, because it's also her husband. But
there's a folk. There's a focusing on what she produces
and what she does, and the wealth that she walks in,
and her maidens and her estates and her businesses and
her children, and her husband is noted in the gates.

(14:45):
He's like a prominent figure as well. And it's kind
of a composite of the church. I mean, I never
nobody's ever told me that. I just kept reading it.
I was like, wait a second, this is what the
bride of Christ is supposed to be doing. Oh my gosh,
in unity, a composite like we are the composite bride
of Christ, That's what That's what I started to notice.

(15:07):
And so when I started reading Proverbs with that in mind,
I noticed that there was wisdom in chapter eight about
let me just go there really quick before we How
much time do we got? Oh we got eighteen minutes?
Oh my gosh, Okay, well, uh so wisdom and her

(15:31):
that sequence of wisdom chapter eight and chapter nine. My
fruit is better than gold, Yeah, fine, gold, and my
revenue than choice silver. Okay, there it is verse eight eleven,
for wisdom is better than rubi's Okay, well, what is that?
All things that can be desired are not to be

(15:53):
compared to it. So there's a lot to wisdom, like
wisdom before you know, the mountains were founded kind of wisdom.
It's pretty pretty awesome. Well, then you just kip ahead
to chapter thirty one, verse ten. Who can find a
virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies? So
you got like that interesting connection there. And what I

(16:16):
was going to look at today is chapter two first Corinthians,
and this sequence. There's a lot to the sequence of revelation. Now,
remember Paul talked in tongues all the time, So we're
discussing the power of the releasing of the Holy Spirit,

(16:37):
lending your tongue to the Lord, shamba, hush to bush,
and you know, like you keep doing it regularly. I mean,
there's no churches that I know of here that that
do this unless they're like really weird and something like
I don't want to say anything that will give away
any churches. I'm trying to reach out to all the churches.
But I'm not going around pointing at sick people and

(17:02):
being like ha ha, sick person, ha ha, a crippled person. No,
we're talking about getting people healing, getting people healthy. And
so a doctor doesn't go around like laughing at his
patients like, oh, another one of you sick people, Look
at you, crippled person. No, he's gonna give you what

(17:24):
he's what he's trained to give you. Medicine, the therapy,
the surgery. That's I mean, that's how he makes his living.
That's that's what he does. This, that's what the situation is.
In the spirit. We have a lot of sick Christians,
weak Christians, and we're not here to make them feel bad.

(17:45):
Like I find areas where I'm not healed yet or
or strong yet. I get to work on those muscles
muscle groups in the body. So this is one that's
really important. It's the gifts of the spirit can do.
Let's see here are we still sound check?

Speaker 7 (18:02):
Oh? Sound checky?

Speaker 1 (18:05):
What is wrong with my systems? My systems are not
operating part properly. Okay, it looks like we lost the
podcast battery.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
Oh no, we didn't.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
It is just very very bright. The sun is shining
very brightly. Okay, thank you Lord, We're still alive. Okay, good, okay.
So here with within mind with what I just read
about wisdom. I mean, I haven't even completely figured this

(18:40):
out yet, but it says an eye, brethren, when I
came to you, came not with excellency of speech or
of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For
I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus
Christ and him crucified. And I was with you in
weakness and in fear, and in much trembling. Remember the

(19:00):
the Bible talks about to this man, I will look
who trembles at my word. And my speech in my preaching,
was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in
demonstration of the spirit and of power, that your faith
should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in
the power of God. Hmm. So then you know, to

(19:24):
the world we look like a bunch of retards, basically,
But howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect,
Yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the
princes of this world. That come to nought. But we
speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. So remember
tongue talker here, Paul, I mean he's unveiling some kind

(19:45):
of revelation. So we speak the wisdom of God in
a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before
the world unto our glory, which none of the princes
of this world knew, for had they known it, they
would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. But as

(20:07):
it is written, I have not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him. But
God hath revealed them to us by his spirit. For
the Spirit searches all things, yeay, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save

(20:28):
the spirit of Man, which is in him. Even so
the things of God knoweth no man but the Spirit
of God. This is so great because people often think
they got to go to seminary to learn the Bible
to understand it, and they don't understand the necessity of
learning the dynamics of this of well, the laws of

(20:49):
the Spirit, which are all sorts of things. They think, Oh,
I just got to get some head knowledge going. And
I've been in so many churches and Bible studies where
it's really all about almost like impressing people with knowledge
or winning logical arguments instead of letting the power and

(21:10):
the flow of the anointing, releasing that in your unique voice,
because yours just gonna sound different than mine. Not every
modey's gonna talk like me.

Speaker 8 (21:21):
They're gonna think, well, that guy'sium's a little bit different.
I just don't know if I can trust it or not.
He don't even talk like he's around from around these parts,
who's coming down my hould a sack? So you're you're

(21:41):
receiving something that is literally spoken by a guy that
was walking in the spirit all the time, speaking in
tongues constantly. So now we have received not the spirit
of the world, but the spirit which is of God,
that we might know the things that are freely given
to us of God things. Also we speak not in

(22:03):
the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy
Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual So you just
get like, oh, what's the spiritual thing? Well, there's there's
the layer, the added layer of speaking tongues and the
interpretation of tongues, and then you might add to that
worshiping in the spirits, singing in the spirit, and singing

(22:28):
in the understanding. And then you might add to that.

Speaker 1 (22:30):
The the fourth the third thing was dancing in the
spirit and then dancing in the understanding. And that doesn't
mean you've got to like run around and be an
interpretive dancer, but you can talk about living by faith.

(22:55):
My family, the bash and family all around this planet
have operation in the supernatural. So when you become a
slave to you obey God. You obey the word. You
don't just read it, just don't just listen to a
podcast or do a podcast, but you obey the word
in the moment. Whatever it is God has shown you
to do, you do it. And it's according to the word.

(23:17):
And the more you learn the word, the more you'll
learn when it's like completely off, like okay, this guy,
we don't even know what he's I mean, I just
drove all the way to California and back and I
went to San Diego and there were literally people in
public just doing like witchcraft and like tear it cards,
just doing like seance kind of stuff, like in public,

(23:40):
like all over the place. I mean, you go to Tucson, Arizona,
just total witch evil. But wherever God leads you, whatever
you're meant to do. We're supposed to live by faith
and we're supposed to be releasers of that anointing. And

(24:00):
one of the ways you do it is obey the Bible.
It says speak in tongues, you speak in tongues, says
you do the interpretation of tongues. You do an interpretation
of tongues, singing tongues, the interpretation of singing in tongues,
and every there's nowhere where you don't get to obey God.
And it isn't some checklists like don't think about lustful
thoughts all the time, or don't do this, or don't

(24:20):
do that, or don't be mean or don't but you
start to operate in the positive. Jesus said, let your
yes bs, your nose be nosse. Everything with him is yes.
It's not like, well, I'll promise, and he says, no,
don't even do that. You start to become a tattletale
on yourself when you make little white lies like oh, yeah,

(24:41):
I'll be back, No you won't. Yeah, ah, sure, I'll
come to your meeting. No you're not. Just say no,
I'm not coming to your meeting, Like, well, you're gonna
give me an excuse why you're not coming to my meeting. No,
just not gonna go. Because you start to practice not
fibbing and noticing if you exagger. Oh yeah, I must
have done about twenty thousand bush ups this last semester.

(25:06):
No you didn't. You start to become honest with the
little things, so that when you become very wealthy or
very prominent, you're gonna be honest with the big things.
I mean, this is just good business advice. Honestly, I'm
still learning. I'm learning on so many fronts, but I
see every little thing that we do can become a
very big thing. And that's where again, having driven to Florida,

(25:30):
California and the East Coast and back and standing on
the shores of the Pacific and the Atlantic and the
Gulf of America whatever, I got to go all of
those places in this last year due to some family
emergencies and due to some like mix ups with the
DMV and just I mean none of it was on purpose.

(25:50):
It was all just like a total miracle. Getting to
come getting to go. But when I come back up here,
I see how how small this country is and also
how exotic Haywood County is. Again, big flood came through here.
I'm not trying to curse anybody or curse anything, but

(26:11):
I see the haywood and stubble as a prophecy for
Haywood County. In many ways, heywood and stubble, every man's
work will be tried to see what it is, whether
it's made of gold or found it on the rock,
or if it's haywood and stubble, and Haywood County and
Haywood and stubble. I wonder sometimes about about forest fires,

(26:33):
about those kind of things, and just praying that nobody
gets hurt, obviously, But I just see as far as
the future here. I mean, I moved here from the
Volcano of Hawaii, so that's the other place we lived.
We were all up and down those islands. We've had
an interesting life and before that, Taiwan for ten years.

(26:53):
So anyway, let's not jump around. Let's finish this because
we only got a few minutes left early. Thanks for
putting up with us. This is Spirit Force Live Broadcasts
on Facebook. Michael Basham and you can support us via
give sen go share that link, or you can support
us via PayPal. Spirit Force zero one at gmail dot com.

(27:17):
So which things also? We speak not in the words
which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth,
comparing spiritual things with spiritual But the natural man receiveth
not the things of the Spirit of God, for their
foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them, because they
are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things.
Yet he himself is judged of no man, for who

(27:39):
hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may
instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. So
I've got a bunch of buklets and fun things, but
one of the most important ones I've found recently has
been the book Insights on Prayer. We call it spirit
Force Prayer Command. It's it's basically a really, really, really

(28:03):
good covering of the scriptures. There's more scriptures than there
are other words, but I recommend getting Insights on Prayer.
Its on Anna Vandellen on X at Happy Texas, Bell
b E L l e as an Anna Belle and
it's on her front x thing there, and there's a
free ebook Basics, which is really good. We've talked about

(28:25):
getting back to the basics, but then this is just
full of revelation and I just want to read this
because I mean, she gets into that. First Corinthians too
is the detail of how to access the mind of Christ.
So that's what we just read to you. The basics
are pray in tongues until the knowledge of what you

(28:46):
are praying in tongues arises as thoughts in your mind,
then it's time to pray and believe for all of it.
So no matter how big it is. You know, we
read yesterday that in Derek Prince's book Complete Salvation that
God got angry with the people for limiting him and
thinking too small. You think, well, God doesn't want to
do that yet, and no, yes he does, and God's

(29:09):
not going to be happy if you limit him.

Speaker 7 (29:13):
Don't limit God.

Speaker 1 (29:17):
He wants to do bigger things for you. Then your
mind can comprehend. And when it comes to wealth, the
wealth of Solomon is not even a good indicator, but
it's a beautiful one and it's worth reading and rereading
and meditating on. And it's a it's a lesson in hiding.
But I mean when you're talking about people will be like, well,

(29:40):
there's like flying castles. Just dreamer, silly dreamer. How about
a city the size of the moon. Yeah, that's how
the book ends moon size cities. And our moon is
pretty big compared to other moons.

Speaker 7 (29:56):
That's no moon. Okay.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
I got one Star Wars quote in here.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
The end.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
This Bible gives you the dimensions for the New Jerusalem,
and it's a moon sized city fifteen hundred miles wide,
long and tall. So I think we can deal with that,
and we can use that as an indicator going from
Solomon's temple and his wealth and all that gold to
the Golden City my ad. So think like Solomon's wealth

(30:26):
and then expanding that to a city the size of

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
