real meat on the bones of the horror movies as
we all know are coming out now, you know there's

You know, I said something about it, I think two
weeks ago where when I did the B Show podcast
about Final Destinations, I understood the appeal. I never thought
it stood out amongst the other movies that came after
the teen era from the two thousands. I just feel
like timings on its side. I feel like they've remade
franchise Slashers, that's kind of been done to death. We're
waiting on Friday the thirteenth. Halloween's somewhere in development hell

pending another reboot, and I think having a franchise that
has I don't know what's the word nostalgia tied to it.
It's been around a while, has some viral clips that
people remember, but with not a descript like in your
Face Art, the clown franchise character. I think people were
ready for that, plus the fact that Final Destination they're violent,

Not necessarily the gore. I've heard all great reviews so
far though, which is again not surprising. Man. We're kind
of like in this, like I guess, like a TikTok
arrow of horror. Yeah, and this movie has the full
capability to keep everyone's attention at full capacity with very
little effort. Like you don't. It's an easy story to follow.
You don't need to invest too much effort into fire.

My kids didn't know anything, but the previous movies didn't
give a shit.

You know, it didn't have to you.

of be in the mood to go to a movie

thought the acting was pretty terrible. I don't the cast was.

Space that scene is fucked up that goes on and
there's bodies everywhere, and it's just yeah.

So like if you compare like an eighty slasher where
some guy in of hockey mask is stabbing you and
someone's like, ah, it's a little different than someone falling

lot of buzz on this movie in terms of promotion,

It is. In contrast, it might have some of the
best acting from a lead performer as far as the
antagonist in Sally Hawkins. If you're not familiar with Sally Hawkins,
she's a British character actress who was nominated for an

Academy Award I believe for Blue Jasmine, which was a
high end Woody Allen movie many years ago. She was
also in maybe the Godzilla franchise. She's probably done a
lot more than that.

they do two things very well. They not have set
a mood, a very uncomfortable mood with the fucking music
and everything else, and they know how to make you
