Speaker 1 (00:35):
Let's get physical. Welcome back to a very special episode
the kind Back in the eighties, TV shows were something
someone would get molested, But that's not happening on this episode,
a very special episode of our weekly entertainment podcast, Spitball Media.

of ever. My name is John Draper. Joining me is
a very excited Shaheen. Shaheen, you are a king of
physical media.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I am man. This is probably the most excited I've
been for a show because this is my type of shit. Man,
this is this is what I kind of thrive in.
So excited to share with you guys some some shit
that I got. I tried to kind of keep like,
I guess, some of my favorite you know stuff. But
there's so many, man, we could do forty five of
these shows.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Oh yeah, for sure, for sure. And b show Brian,
you have a tank top on, so you are ready
to get physical media.

Speaker 3 (01:32):

like the way my shoulders are shit, like the whatever
I look like young hillbilly Jim. Mmmm, he's got a
very hillbilly Jim looking thing going on, like the.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
You look like a guy who may or may have
got caught doing something he should have been doing in
a southern part of the country, using a word he
probably shouldn't have used in a restaurant, possibly an Applebee's maybe. Uh,
what's that country store.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
One those called would Cracker Barrey?

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Yeah, I wouldn't want to take a ship.

Speaker 3 (02:04):

Speaker 3 (05:00):
We got Chris Matthews, the Chris Matthews. We have Rojo

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh, Rojo Bear twenty four. Okay, let's see John JLD
nine nine aka Young John, and.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
They're filing in still but that's it so far.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Okay, Well, thank you guys for hanging out. Now, look,
this is a special edition. We're going to table all
the entertainment news and there's a shit done of it,
a lot of good trailers. Well, we get to some
big ones next week for sure, But tonight is about
physical media. Now shop for people that aren't in the
know so much of physical media. What would you how
would you describe the term physical media and what falls

(05:36):
in that umbrella.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
So I mean anything from chrissettes to VHS to DVD,
and I have some examples. I brought certain titles that
I have, like the DVD, the Blu Ray and the
four Case, so you can kind of see like the
Evolution Bress and that's over twenty years you know what
I mean. I mean the DVD's from literally twenty twenties
five years ago, believe it or not. Wow, Yeah, fuck dude,

(05:59):
that's really twenty five years old.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Holy shit, Well I got stuff that goes way DDE.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
I just had a meltdown. Man, I didn't even really
Holy fuck dude, I.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Think Truman was president with some of the stuff I'm
gonna put on the.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Screen, Dude. This was one of the ones I used
to steal when I was a kid. You know, I
stole this Orders. You need to tell you I stole
this twenty five years ago.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Oh my god, fuck Orders.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Man, I just aged like ten years dude.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Good lord Borders. Now I want to point this out.
I've talked about this shirt before. This is my uh,
speaking of physical media, this is my melosh Uh Serbian
film t shirt. And you can see I got a
little parade of some physical media stuff in the back there.
This actually came with a DVD and a poster for
the first time that it was released in the States,
So I have the original. We'll be showing that on screen.

(06:42):
I'll be opening up that for a little bit. I
like to wear this shirt b show. When I used
to pick the kids up from school, I got recognized
by wearing it in a TCB. Why once you know
it's a family shirt. I wore it today to work.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I did just under a Blazer under a Blazer sports show.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
I had like, well, it's not it was like not.
I had like a like a Hawaiian Hawaiian shirt on.
But yeah, I wore this. I was this to work.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
That's nice. You know, anytime you can you can, uh
there's something like that to work. It's a nice uh nice,
But we don't really talk about my job.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Uh but uh, b shall how would you describe physical media?
Like what what do you think is? Is sort of
like the first time you sort of heard that kind
of knocking around. It's been a very buzzworthy sort of
term the last couple of years. The death of physical media,
the rise of physical media.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Well, in that sense, I think of like Shah said anything.
When you see a movie in theaters, it was always
like an anticipation for when it would come out on VHS,
when it would come out on DVD, when you could reddit,
when you could buy it. So to me, that's what
I think of It's a it's a physical media release
on tape, on CD, on laser disc for those of you.
Sure some will say that was the premiere visual and

(07:56):
sound experience.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
But I digress. A laser disc, yeah, for sure, VHS
Beta like honestly like blue radio origin of the DVD,
like shot pointed out as it won.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Did you guys have Beta max back in the day.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
I vaguely don't remember Beta. You know, some people are
talking to the chat there. Physical media is forever, ro
Jo Bart twenty four says. Eric Turner says, I still
buy CDs of artists I like. I mean too, I
get seed these occasionally, don Stone. I used to buy
import CDs and that was the thing for sure, import vinyl,
import CDs, picture discs, and of course Eric Turner says,

(08:32):
it's something you could hold in your hands. Yes, I
mean really, with a lot of things being changed and
scrapped due to a more touchy world, that we live
in physical media, you don't have that problem.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, exactly. It's I think it's gonna preserve like movies too,
you know what I mean, Because if it wasn't for
physical media, a lot of movies, man, the original negatives
are gone. They rotted away, they were never taken care of.
So a lot of these movies that you were seeing
upgraded to Blu ray and so forth, and so on,
like all they have is the VHS tape or the
DVD scan or whatever. So it's very important. It's not

(09:06):
just about like owning it personally, like it's saving literally
the history of film. It's saved so many movies. I'll
get into it later, but like vinegar syndrome, that's literally
their mission. Goal is to just save movies from rotting away.
That's whole goal. Yeah, hidden underground forgotten movies.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
I should say, well, Raey and I riched dut said.
Sean made a great point he was on the show.
With physical you don't have to worry about being changed,
and slave Cheeks is bringing up Sam Goodie. I remember
seeing my own records in my album in Sam Goodie
or Tower in Manhattan. That was kind of a big
fucking deal. But listen, we have a ton of stuff
to get to, so please consider going to the Patreon
dot com back slash pitball Media. And I want to

(09:46):
kick things off if I can, because I very rarely
come out the box with physical media stuff. But since
I'm wearing the shirt, I thought it was only apropos
to talk about the origins of this shirt. And obviously
a Serbian film, people are familiar with it. At the time,
there was this was the very first release of a

(10:07):
Serbian film. This is it right here. This was the
first time it was ever released. This is on blue.
This is actually regular DVD. I don't believe it was
Blu ray. This is the first version. Now this was
considered the unrated version. Now I will like to point
out that it's been released since then. I can barely

(10:28):
see who actually even put this out. But it was
serbianmovie dot com. And when you opened it up, not much.
Here you get your own little uh there was You
got a free digital copy of a Serbian film. It's
only a one disc shot and.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
I got to give that away. Or do you not
want to worry about being on a.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
List or sub Yeah, I never I never thought of it.
This also came with a poster and this shirt. This
is I want to say, show about two thousand and
seven or eight, probably around that time.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
That's the Blu Ray, right blew.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
This is the first Blue ray, the unrated Blue ray.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
So I got the one that came out like maybe
four years ago. I'm pretty sure it's probably the same company.
Yours is probably on Earth Films.

Speaker 1 (11:09):
I think it is on Earth Films.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
Yes, yeah, so they put it out. I think it's
gonna be the same dev I mean, the same Blue Ray.
I don't updated scan of it. I don't know if
they rescanned it to try to it might be.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
It's a long time ago, and quite frankly, I didn't
find it to be all that in a bag of dix.
You know, you prepare yourself for like the worst. Now,
the version you have, shy, I think is more hard
than this. This Actually this was unrated for America. This
was not the version that this was completely uncut. Yours
is completely uncut. Yours is infinitely more hard than mine.

(11:42):
But you didn't get the snazzy T shirt, you know,
and and the poster.

Speaker 2 (11:46):
I didn't get the poster the posters inside it.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Okay, Yeah, the poster. If I'm not mistaken, is let
me just see here.

Speaker 2 (11:55):
I don't remember this mine? Is this one?

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Yeah, I forget that's what the poster looked like. It
was seventy dollars at comic Con back when I owned
the comic book store. So yeah, I don't know what
it's worth today. Since it was the first one that
came out from on Earth, I have no idea what
it's exactly worth at this point.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
But it was worth a lot though, because it was
out of print for years. But now it's now.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
Now it's a little bit of B show. You've still
never seen the movie, right, you're waiting for them to
put the musical out.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
If I'm not mistaken, Yes, yes, I'm waiting. Actually I'm
putting to the extra double special, you know, uncut version
of all the extra footage that they haven't shown. Uh No,
I have no desire to see that movie. I've heard that.
First of all, it was just kind of a hype
movie that, oh it's so terrible you have to see it,
and then it's not very good, and I just for
what i've heard, I just care.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Yeah, you're not missing much. I mean it's overrated, but
B show why don't you bring up a little show
us a little a goodie you got there in your
tank top, turning everybody on in the chatter. Uh, yeah,
let me grab it. Hang on a second, and we
have Chris Matthews. So about the soundgardens, the lost one
thing standing? Uh and my small town thrift stories are
a good source.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Eric, have shot, go ahead, I forgot to grab something
on my shelf.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
Okay, shot, And I love the shirt that you're wearing. Shot.
Why don't you drop a little goodie for the for
the for the for the crowd.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
So this is a this is a triple same title.
It's kind of just the evolution of the movie on
physical media. So this is one of the first DVDs
I ever had. And this is twenty five years old. Wow,
it's the Wickerman the special edition in a wooden box.
It's actually burned this on there because every edition is different.

(13:33):
Oh so they burned this on there. The side is burned.
The back has this?

Speaker 1 (13:40):
Who released that?

Speaker 2 (13:41):
I want to say, Anchor.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
Bay Oh wow, Oh this is fucking great. And use
your weed in that box. You can put your weed
in it.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
You could.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
There used to be like a poster and some other
shit in here, but I think.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I just know, well, well, now you can put your
weed in it.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
That is true. And then I rebought it when it
came out on Blu Ray. So this is the DVD.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
That's the regular region, regular standard region DVD.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Not standard. This is like the Collectors one.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
This was limited okay, but in terms of play you
play it on a regular DVD player.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Yeah, I was Region one. I'm pissed I bought this
because I bought this about a year ago and I
imported this from Australia. Oh, I paid one hundred dollars
for this after shipping. This is the Wickerman on Blu Ray.
It's got a nice box set, very like sturdy box set.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
Like it's a sturdy box. That was my nickname in college.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Thick ass cardboard, which was my other nickname in college.
Three cuts of the film, so it's got three different God. Yeah,
it's got the international shot just.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
To just to like people know this is the original,
not the Nicholas Cage one.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah, yeah, this is the original. This is definitely the
nineteen seventies, not.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
The one with the bees.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
No, absolutely not. And the reason why I'm pissed about
this is because by the way, I love the side slits.
It's got like little Oh that's great one that comes
over there. Imprint Films they put out great stuff again
the box like this one or break. This is not
some shit that's like gonna lie you know. Oh that's
what I'm pissed because this came out on Blu ray.
I'man on four K. So I bought this on Blu

(15:09):
ray in like twenty twenty three. Immediately in twenty twenty four,
this came to America from four K four K they
upgraded to four K within a year. Paid one hundred
bucks for that. Got this at best Buy, which is
a fucking beautiful steal book that's got this for like
twenty five bucks.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
I mean that's a great price. Now shot for four
K restoration. Does that affect the player? Like? What what
do you play a four krister store? You need Blu ray.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
No, so you need a four K television and you
need a four K player, right.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Okay four K? Okay? So did they have an all
region DVD player at this point or no?

Speaker 2 (15:44):
You have to Yeah, yeah, that's what I have. So
that's how I can play the Australian versions.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
So my Blu Ray, my Blu Ray player. I mean
you have to get it, like from the black market
because they have to crack the code. There's no actual
Blu Ray that you can buy. That's just you know,
region free. You have to kind of crack it.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
You have to, like, oh, forget's sake, Jesus.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
But I'm pissed this came out because I love this again.
It's got this little slip that comes.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
On there just cover all of them look great, right,
b sure, like every one of them looks like great, And.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
No one had some midsommar vibes coming from it, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (16:12):
You know what, you know what we'll do since we're
since we're doing this and it's a physical media thing.
If no, if no one's seen this, it comes with
a digital code. I didn't even realize it's all. Go
ahead and give this away. You guys can whoever wants
go grab this and do yourself a favor and watch
this movie asap. Go ahead and screen capture that and
I'll put it in the chat room as well.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
There you go. Well this is excellent chat. Well, boy,
you guys are spurled in there. Who wants?

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Who wants? To drop it in the chat because it
was very hard to see the.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Code on there. Or you can go to the Twitter
right now and the first person to send us a
d M with the we'll we'll have, we'll have the
code send to them. How about that? Yep, it's right
enough to leave the show. Be sure, Brian getting the game, buddy?

Speaker 3 (16:51):
All right? So, speaking of Slipcover, I think I've talked
about this movie before. A couple of years ago, we
talked about some obscure movies that we liked, and I
mentioned The Black Room. That's also a favorite of Mike
from the Necromaniac podcast.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yes, on the Big Screen, I think I'm the only one.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
We're still on the big Screen.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
There we go, There we go, challenges. But this is
a set called The Taste of Evil. I think it
was from a horror anthology series from like the nineteen
sixties or something like that. Like shot has a bit
of a plastic slip with blood kind of effects on it.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
And this is regular This is Blu Ray DVD DVD.
I'm sure DVD.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Okay, Yeah, my brother bought me this from Best Buy
in like two thousand and six. But this is a
picture from the brain that wouldn't die. And it's just
a list of like a twelve different pulpy movies like
The Black Room, Attack of the Giant Leeches, the Giant
Spider Invasion, Invasion from Inner Earth, and then nothing special,
just some standard.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
But there's a whole How many dists are in there?
H one, two, three, four, five, six, damn?

Speaker 3 (17:54):
But only I love the movies.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
I love the cover though the cover is great, And
how old are these movies? Are these like sixties seventy?

Speaker 3 (18:00):
Oh, let's see nineteen sixty five, nineteen seventy four, nineteen
eighty four is the newest one nineteen.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Stuff from eighty four. I'm just curious.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
That was the black Room.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
Black Room Okay, yeah, Mike Macromaniacs is but they're covering
an angel Heart, I think on the most recent episode.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Butou oh nice, but it's funny. Until until we talked
about this today, I haven't opened this and so long
I forgot that it had the blood effect on it.

Speaker 1 (18:20):
So oh, this is fantastic. So unfortunately I have an
incomplete but this was something I bought. I feel like
this might have been an exclusive at the time. This
was the Cult of Eric Cartman and it came with
a sticker and like a membership and like a booklet,
and unfortunately I lost one of the fucking DVDs. This

(18:42):
is a regular DVD. I have not seen this. This
is probably completely out of print, but I love this.
This is fascinating. And then for shits and gigs, I
wanted to share this. So one of my favorite movies
from back in the day was the G. I. Joe Movie.
I was a huge collector in the eighties and this

(19:04):
is a if you could see it here, this is
a special collector's edition standard DVD of the movie when
it came out. Now, what makes this a collector's edition
is that you have twenty five original public service announcements,
the two theatrical trailers, two vintage commercials, and an audio component.

(19:25):
As far as this goes, and if you've never seen this,
this is actually great. Don Johnson is like the top
named person in this shay. Are you familiar with the
G I. Joe Movie?

Speaker 2 (19:39):
Funny enough, I think I bought it from Blockbuster when
they were going out of business, but I've never seen it.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
Yeah, this was from Rhino. The Child Edition. Don Johnson, Burgess, Meredith,
and Sergeant Slaughter guys, these are the top three. What
a cast? What a cast? Right now? Not to be outdone,
I do have to. I wanted to share this so
many people know I owned a comic book store, and
to kick that comic book store off, we hired some

(20:03):
women from uh, let's just say more soft core affair
from Seduction Cinema. We're talking about Darien Kine, Misty Monday
and of course some other women there, and they came in.
They kicked off the the opening of my store in
two thousand and six. And we have here some signed
from Seduction Cinema. We have erotic survivor and Playmate of

(20:27):
the Apes. Yeah. I do have Lord of the g
Strings somewhere and these are signed to the Brooklyn Monster
Factory shop. Yeah yeah they well, they did an in
store appearance. They when we opened the store, we had
two of the three Lord of the g String girls.

(20:50):
As far as they go. Now, I keep these buried
with a serbian film just so no one. He's like,
what's going on? Uh? And unfortunately one of these girls
is dead. She passed away.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Does this guy know how to party or what?

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Yeah? I forget her name. Shit, I feel terrible, but
she was lovely. She passed away a couple of years ago.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
So yeah, I got something kind of related to that.
It's not porn.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Well technically that's not porn either. It's soft core porn
either way.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
So my grandpa when he moved out of his house
into his apartment, my dad was cleaning out the basement
and he says, hey, Brian, and I thought it was sentimental.
He goes, your grandpa, I found something that he had.
I figured this would mean a lot to you, and
I wanted you to have it.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
The srings the director's cut.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
No, it was the sable Tory Wilson Playboy.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
Now was he getting Playboy in the mail? Because that
was a big thing back in the day.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I don't think my grandpa was buying it at the
news STANDI.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
What's you know, what's hilarious. This is so coincidental that
it is crazy. I actually convinced my grandpa to go
to Borders with me and buy me that issue a Playboy.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Literally, my grandpa bought me that fucking Playboy. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
That is actually that's actually pretty crazy. Shot share the screen,
Share the kids what you got for him?

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Yeah. So the next one is, ah, I know John,
You're a big fan of this movie, Andrea Zolowski's Possession.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Oh I love Possession.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
This is one of my favorite editions.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
It's phenomenal. It's a brilliant movie regardless of genre.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
This is fucking put that out. I don't even know
man Mondo vision. Wow, the back, it's all velveit and ship.
Then when you pull it out, it's got some beautiful art.
It's got Jesus on the back.

Speaker 1 (22:45):
Wow, has Jesus in there.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
It's got titties on the front.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Titties on the front, Jesus in the back.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
So it opens up and then.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Oh my god, how much does how much is this worth?

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Uh? Probably close to Hunter? Now I think it's sold out.
I don't even know how to open this shit, dude,
I haven't even opened this away.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
Well, it's fantastic looking.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
It's got two disks. And then I think it's got
a bookletting here too. It's got a book.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
Oh my god, this is phenomenal. How much was this?
Something like that? Go for it? I mean, because you
have the actual value of when you purchased it, and
obviously these things generally go up.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Yeah, So I voted for about like fifty books. I
want to say. It opens up like this. I vout
it for like fifty bucks was shipping. I think it
was like sixty. But this is years ago, so I
think it's sold out now. I'm pretty sure it's like
over one hundred now. Jesus. It comes with a bunch
of shit. I don't even know. I've never opened this.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
Jesus, Wow. You do open these generally, right like you
do open them? I do. I do.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It comes with a little booklet movies that I've seen.
I haven't really gone through. So it's got a little
booklet with it. It's got some cards from the movie.
I don't know if John is familiar with these.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
No, I've never seen that. It looks like Robert Smith
from The Cure.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
And I'm assuming these are some movie props and replicas
or some props. It's like a certification of authenticity.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
More random sh Well, you need that, you got to
prove you're worth there, you gotta you know, you need that.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
There's just tons of here.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
It's also a great movie if people never seen it.
If Turner saying I had The Wall movie on DVD
and had awesome poster, yeah, I vaguely remember, like the wall.
Even the vinyl had an awesome poster. We'll get to
some vinyl there. That's just lovely. Shah.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, this is one of my favorite editions, just because
it's velvet like. It's it's very unique. I haven't seen
too many movie cases come as velvet.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
Well, well that's phenomenal. B show what do you got there?
Do you what? Do you you got some more more Playboy?
You got some Penthouse, some Hustler, some cherry legal, grizzly
man Man.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
No, I don't have. I have like three kind of
collectors piece, four collectors pieces. This is one of them.
I think I've shown show this before. It's a Texas change.
I'm asking steel boy, it's the only deal book I've got.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Oh wow, for the kids at home, how would you
describe a steel book? Not everybody's going to know what
that means.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Oh, it's instead of having a case like we just
showed with a slip cover or a I guess, a
cardboard box that opens up, it's actually like a tin.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
The case itself is part of the of the collective,
the collection.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Right, Yes, as I do our a smr of the
night marks.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
He's saying that's solid is really good looking shop in
the middle. Back that up a little bit, just pull
it a little from the camera.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
I have a different edition. I don't have that one.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
I think it's hard to see in the light. You
don't have a lot of light going on in your office.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
So, oh, he's hanging around the hook.

Speaker 1 (25:40):
Oh okay, it looks like a woman choking. Oh he's
hanging her on the hook. Yeah, the classic.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Teen Yeah, that's when you just kind of get family
to shut the fuck up.

Speaker 1 (25:48):
You just hang them right on the hook. Oh, this
is phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
I love that. My wife bought it for me a
couple of weeks I don't know, maybe fifteen years ago.
It was the first first horror movie said that. I
think she bought me without me asking for it, and
she's like, I hope you like it. Yeah, of course.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Well this well a bunch of stuff. That's the one
you have shown now, that's yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:12):
I think, no, this isn't four K this. I think
this is just Blu Ray. So it's probably the same
exact I don't know if the show has got the
DVD or the Blu ray, but this is DVD. This
is ray.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
You know, Seah, you were talking about a colored collection there.
I think it was it was it Swayede. What were
you saying there? You had something that was Swede?

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Is this is like velvet velvet?

Speaker 1 (26:33):
Speaking of velvet, I found this was something I got
from my dad because my dad passed away and I
got a lot of his possessions. This is a very
This is a blue suede Elvis DVD box set.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
It's actually completely swayed. It's all blue suede, and it's
got a bunch of it's DVD, but it has his
great performances going from his first TV performances. It's got
like it's got like five different volumes. Oh gosh, one
just fell out. Five different volumes and the cover I
think is a limited edition. This came out from Rhino.

(27:07):
Rhino does a lot of this, but it's actually blue
Swede and it's just regular region. You know, one DVD
The Man in his Music from the Waist Up. I
guarantee you this is worth a lot of GUACAMOLEV.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
Show when did that come out?

Speaker 1 (27:22):
You know, I'm going to try to look because I
don't have great lighting in here. I'm not entirely sure
if it has the year it came out i'd have
to look it up, but I didn't even know. My
dad has so many of these things, and I plan
on keeping these for a very, very very long time.
But yeah, it's blue Swayed Edition Elvis center Stage. Well

(27:42):
it's got like a weird cover, very cool thing. I
don't know. It's got like black and white and color.
It's one hundred and fifty nine minutes, non rated, but
there are is like legions of things. It's like Jesus Christ.
There's a lot on here because you know, back in
the day, songs were short. But I love this. I
plan on keeping this for a very very long time. Shot.

(28:03):
What do you got there?

Speaker 2 (28:07):
So since we were just doing a Texas Chainsaw, I
want to show another edition of Texas Chainsaw. So this
just came out last year, sold out like within like
a week, so I'm not sure how much this cost.
Is probably very expensive. Now it's the Texas Chainsaw Massacre
from second Site. So this is exclusive to the UK.
You can only buy it in the UK. And this

(28:29):
is on four K, so it's the first time Texas
Chainsaw came on four K. And this is a beautiful
fucking set. Dude, I love this art it's original.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
I love that cover a lot.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Again, this is the hardcover, like you know, but look
at this art. Man, It comes with a book. Look
at the art on this fucking book.

Speaker 3 (28:46):
Man, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
And it's like a hard jem Yeah, yeah, hard book.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Jesus, look at this. Oh my god, that's gotta be
worth some guacamole now.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
Shot.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Young John is asked, scheme, what websites do you buy
most of your movies from? And can you put us on?

Speaker 2 (29:04):
So I would go to Orbit dvd dot com. Orbit
dvd dot com. That's that's where I get all my ship. Man.
They're good, fucking solid people. Mom and Dad shop one
of the last physical media places stand in. They ship
your ship right away. Amazing. People support that website man.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Or dot com. We just put Look at that.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Cards though, all brand new art for the movie.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Oh grandpa, grandpa, gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
Look at that.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
I hear that picture.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
I could hear that picture from the second one, right,
that's the second one.

Speaker 3 (29:39):
That's all from the first one.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
That's all from the first one. I don't think it's
from the second one.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, it's got some beautiful The movie itself comes in
this little case.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
At that picture Man, that's got Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
I love how it's got all brand new art for everything.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
The discs. Yeah, well that's you know, listen, you can
only put that movie out so times before you got.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
And this was expensive, dude, I bought this for like
eighty bucks, so I thought, I mean, now it's probably
like two hundred bucks. Man, This shit sold out like instantly.
This book is what got me in, this hard ass
fucking book.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
This is Yeah, the book is, but everything about it
stands out to me. I think it all looks fantastic.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
Young John might be disappointed. He wants to see if
there's inexpensive gifts on that site, and I don't think
that's probably gonna be the case.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Depends.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
I mean, if it depends, they have a bunch of
they have a bunch of sales on there. They have,
I mean there are some of their blue rays are
pretty cheap. It's just like if you want like the
super exclusive crazy ship like here, it's like, yeah, it's
gonna be seventy eighty bucks. But Ryan standard stuff, they
have tons of cheap stuff for standard.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
Yeah. Well that but that that looks worth every penny.
B show what he got for the kids.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
All right, I'm gonna grab one more.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Okay, actually, b show if you're gonna grow you have
an evamp a little bit.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
It is Halloween and you know that's my my, my
happy place. This came out from I think it was
it Shout Factory or screen Factory.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
That's screen factory.

Speaker 3 (30:58):
Yeah, scream obviously classic Pumpkin on the end picture of
Mikey and my daughter stuck a little hole off on
them when.

Speaker 1 (31:05):
She was little. Oh that's funny. That makes it even funnier.
Oh my god, how long do you know?

Speaker 3 (31:10):
I showed this one first, which I'm gonna show another
one in a little bit. It's like it's like this
to the artworks better a little Mikey in the background there.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
But basically this was all of the movies that had
come out. They were on Blu Ray. I don't think
there were four K I was kind of pissed they
released the four K ones like right after this. But
like obviously classic posters.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
Poster for sure.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
I love this one with the Witch coming out of
the sky on the skyline, but unrated on some of
the rob Zombie ones. That's Halloween two. So nothing special
as far as artwork is concerned. However, there was kind
of a production uh production, you know, movie by movie

(31:57):
mini like documentary and book form type of thing.

Speaker 1 (32:00):
Oh I love it. So Ryan keeps saying, B show
and shot. I'm not against streaming, but I am a
supporter of a physical media because for no other reason,
I like having it in my hands. That said, I
don't like that it's become a specialty market. Oh for sure.
I mean it's it's you know, listen, it's not a
cheap hobby. I don't know that there are too many
cheap hobbies left, wouldn't you say those shy? I mean

(32:20):
all hobbies, whether it's comics, collecting comics, like collecting anything physical.
Is it expensive? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (32:26):
I mean, to be honest with you, man, I mean
the reason why it's going this like you know, collector's
edition route, because every movie like that's what they rely
on making their profit is these hardcore collectors buying these
one hundred dollars pieces. So if it wasn't for these
type of additions, I don't think physical media would even exist.
These are kind they kind of have to do this,
Like Lionsgate for example, right, they just launched a website

(32:49):
like a month ago, two months ago something like that,
actually a couple months ago. It's called Lionsgate Limited. Lionsgate
used to have their Steel books. They're known for their
steel books. So that that Wickerman one that I showed earlier,
that's from Lionsgate. They used to be like twenty bucks
in best Buy. Once best Buy died out. They are
currently like nowhere else. So they created their own website
and they made it exclusive to their own website, so

(33:11):
nowhere else you could buy it. You know, they're like
forty five bucks now.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Yeah. Ryan's saying he paid forty five dollars for a
four K Bronx taill.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Yeah yeah, yeah, and that one sold out quick too.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Man.

Speaker 2 (33:23):
I want to show this off real quick because b
showed that piece that he has. Dude, that used to
be so fucking rare because it sold out so quickly,
and if it wasn't good condition, people used to pay
like five six hundred dollars for that.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
It's calmed down now you can get in from like
no one cares.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeah, it's because they put them all out on four K.
And that's what I wanted to show off because it
wasn't it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
Real part of the reason it was rare too, is
it was the first time that the producer's cut of
Halloween six, which was like this fabled cut of this
movie that no one had ever seen except around like
VHS grainy SEC seventh generation bootleg. So it went up
and then they released.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
That actually on four K.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
Again it's a separate set later on, so they kind
of unspecialized it for themselves.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Oh, they put them out.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
It actually took a couple of years though, be sure
you had like a solid five years, six years to
sell that and make a crazy profit because they put
them out on four K like two three years ago
and screen Factor love individually with like new art. So
now they're in these hard cases, so they're not like
regular slip slip cases for a regular movies. They are
like these nice heart cases.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
Well, and there's a cool collector's case for that where
it's actually the house. Do you have the house?

Speaker 2 (34:30):
Oh no, no, that's a that's a custom though. You
have to you have to buy that on Etsy. It's
a dude, that sounds okay?

Speaker 1 (34:35):
Oh is that we have to buy it on Etsy?
This one? Yeah? I love that option that covers all
them a great Wow, this is gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (34:42):
This al looks just like, Uh, tell me that doesn't
look like Nicholas Cage.

Speaker 3 (34:46):
It does that's a cage mask.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's a Nicholas Cage mask.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
And speaking to different versions before John jumps back in there,
I found up in the attic. I forgot I had these.
I thought I traded him in at the the game
stop VHS versions of Halloween and Hollow six.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
Oh, that's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
I think I have Halloween one of the best scenes
of four or three.

Speaker 1 (35:05):
Wow, the vhs. That's not the original though, b I
could tell you.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
No, no, no, no, no no. I picked these up in
like two thousand and five.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
So, guys, slave cheeks. Before you get to my next thing,
he's asking if you think Terminator two has nice physical media.
I would hope so, but I don't know.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
So I have it, but it's got the worst it's
it's known as the worst four K transfer of all
time because what was the what was the director's name?

Speaker 1 (35:30):
He's escaping James Cameron.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
James Cameron. He's he's notoriously known for using AI to
upscale things. And it just looks like everyone's faces look
like clay. Like it's too glossy. Yeah, he fucked it up, man,
But I actually have it on on four K. Let
me let me grab it one second.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Yeah, so I this is another thing I inherited. This
is the original wide screen box set of the Indiana
Jones trilogy. This was the first time it was available
on wide screen. It's regular region DVD one, it's THX
digitally remastered. It's got three discs and then for the
three first three films, and then it has a disc

(36:10):
B show of bonus material. The whole thing is bonus material.
If you look at it, is that Spielberg and Lucas
there on the cover, and they got to look at
that cover, it's hard to see who that might be. Yeah, yeah,
so there's a whole This is actually a really cool
box set to have. I wonder if this is actually
worth something. I imagine when this came out, this was

(36:30):
a big deal because this was the Remember this is
also first region DVDs. Guys, they were not wide screen.
All of this is all wide screen box set, the
complete Collector's Edition. I should look this up see if
this is worth some guacamole.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
That's a good point, John, because there's movies that I
find I just get sick of trying to go on
streaming and well, which one do I have to find that?
To find it, you know, to watch without having to
pay for it, right, And I'll reach down and grab
a DVD from the basket under the TV or the cabinet,
I should say, and I throw it in and it's
all like, you know, what is it?

Speaker 1 (37:02):
Square?

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Standard definition? There's no wide screen? I hate that.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Yeah, when I can't find white screen, yeah, I hate
I don't. I prefer the wide screen. That was the
first thing I noticed when I started getting DVDs. But
what do you got there? Shah?

Speaker 2 (37:15):
So real quick on that? Uh that Indiana Jones box
set that you have, They actually put out two versions
of it, so one was full screen, one was wide screen.
I have the WIT I have the full screen one.
So the full screen one is the same exact thing.
But it's just like a cream colored box set. Okay,
but yeah, they put them all on a four K
on on a box set. Now, so everything else is done.

(37:36):
I just want to show this. I don't I don't
remember who asked about it, but Terminator two so this
is the oh wow, this is a steel book. Yeah,
well look when you remove the cover. Look at this, Sid.

Speaker 1 (37:52):
Joe, when did that come out? And what in the
transfer being bad as such?

Speaker 2 (37:55):
A it's like from like four or five years ago. Okay,
transfer as dog shit though, Transfer as dog shit?

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Yeah, transfer is dog shit okay?

Speaker 2 (38:06):
And the back is the back is I mean, look
at this ship, dude.

Speaker 3 (38:09):
Wow, I just drink Wow one too. If they're going
to charge you sixty seventy bucks for that ship, at
least give us a nice transfer because the artwork's cool.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
But is it worth you're paying for the artwork at
this point? You know, just that's gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
This is the first shit, this is also on steel.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
But this one actually is a good transfer. First one
looks great. Second one.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
First one looks good. Yeah. Ryan keep says, whatever you
want to say about the Star Wars prequels, and I
have the bonuses that were always fantastic. Yeah, I imagine
because also technology was catching up at that point. Young
John is saying, do we have any westerns? I actually
have some, but they're more modern ones like three ten
to Yuma, none of the classic like John Wayne or
Clint Eastwood ones. Do you have any of those?

Speaker 3 (38:55):
B No, I don't I did find like some weird
airplane vhs. My grandpa had some war movie going through
stuff the other an hour or two ago.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
What do you got there? B what are you gonna
share with the class?

Speaker 3 (39:07):
All right? So someone mentioned Star Wars. Ah, I've been
trying to find the wide screen version of this for
a long time and I can't, or if I do,
it's way expensive. But this is the special edition standard definition,
not standard definition, whatever standards. It's not wide screen there. Yeah,
so I remember that art packaging. I got it Christmas

(39:31):
nineteen ninety seven, the year that the movies came back
out in theaters. Yeah, and it's got some classic artworks.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
Now, d show, are these the ones with the extra
footage and shit and the extra things in it? Okay? Yes?

Speaker 3 (39:43):
So the other one, the other one is three three
vhs that they came out in nineteen ninety five. It's
like a Yoda on one, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper.
These ones have these almost painting posters on them. That's
obviously Star Wars Empire strikes back. Oh so cool, Return

(40:04):
of the Jedi. So yes, there was a special edition
release with all the extras and the transfers and actually this, actually,
this set is one of the things that made me
fall in love with the art of filmmaking because at
the beginning of each one, George Lucas, like Gary Kurtz,
I'm trying to remember the other guys from ILM, they
all did these interviews talking about all the changes they made,

(40:25):
and there was almost a mini doc on the beginning
of Star Wars or a New Hope, as your younger
cats call it. It was like twenty five minutes talking
about the movie and all the changes they made, and
I just I would watch that over and over again
because up until that point I had no idea how
this shit was done or how it was made.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
So very special to me, Okay, well, yeah, I love that.
I love the presentation of that so much, and I
vaguely remember that when it came out. Uh shaw, what
do you got there? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (40:51):
So this is a four K box seat came out
from Arrow Video Arrow. I really wanted this. This was
fucking insanely expensive because I had import it from the UK,
but I don't regret it at all because I want
all them on four K and I bought them all
on four K from Screen Factory, one by one, but
once this came out, I was like, fuck, I need

(41:12):
to spend the money again and red buy all of
them for no reason. So this is the Chucky box
that it has every single Chucky movie except what except
the remake?

Speaker 1 (41:22):
The remake? Okay, good that you'll never want.

Speaker 3 (41:24):
To look at.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
All the different chuckies in.

Speaker 1 (41:28):
The Look at this, my god.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
And then you open it. It's got every single movie
and they all have like original art Now, oh all
the different that's great.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Oh he looks monstrous in this artwork.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
And then of course when you open it, it's got
a little poster book cards, all that ship inside every
single one, so tons of.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
Stuff that is amazing.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
Who put that out Errow video?

Speaker 1 (41:56):
You know?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Arrow Arrow?

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Was fucking Arrow's legit? Yeah, Arrows, no joke, Arrows. That
is like, that's probably my favorite thing of the night
so far. So for those of you that don't know,
I am Italian, and there is no such thing as
any self respecting Italian, whether you're a half wop like
myself or a full on spaghetti bender. There's one box

(42:21):
set you need to have in your house above any
box set at all. I mean, you just they should
just give these away if your last name ends in
a vowel. Of course, I'm talking about the Godfather Complete
Collection one, two, and three. Okay, this is the full
Godfather one, two, and even three. First of all, look

(42:42):
at that, Look at that chat, look at.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
This shit this look I remember that. Actually this is.

Speaker 1 (42:47):
Fucking Gore jiss. And then you have this additional one,
which is just so you have the three films, including
the shitty third one, and then you have a bonus one.
This one actually has Scorsese excuse me, Copola on there.
I always get them confused. You just need to have

(43:08):
something like this in the house. But I love this
fucking presentation. I just think it's fucking phenomenal. You know,
it's sort of a timeless thing to have. This is
just regular Region one paramount put it out. I don't
know much about this set. This was sort of an
inherited thing I have, But I just thought this was

(43:29):
just such a cool It just looks so bad ass.
And Ryan keues like, yes, we watched one and two
and make an excuse not to watch three as far
as that goes. But the bonus material one with Coppola
on it. As I opened this up, it has a
whole like like a documentary, all the character biographies, all

(43:51):
the trailers from the movie, the actual theatrical all the
Academy Award acceptance speeches. Oh no kidding, Yeah, all of
the awards and non nations, the nineteen seventy four Network
TV introduction for the time it first aired on television.

Speaker 3 (44:06):
Oh, those are cool. Those are that's I don't see
that a lot on releases. Man, that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
Yeah, you don't. And a whole like the Notebook of Coppola,
the music, the screenwriting, the storyboards shot for every film,
the additional scenes, and the chronology of the whole thing.
I think this is just such a wonderful thing, regardless
of what region it is to have, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Yeah. Actually, they put them out on four K on
steel books and they were fucking gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
I just never seen the movie siding by them, and
I regret it because, dude, those steel books looked so
fucking great.

Speaker 1 (44:43):
Well, they they were really expensive.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
No, they weren't even expensive. I just I mean, I
just never seen the movies and I was like, oh,
I'm just never gonna watch these.

Speaker 1 (44:49):
It was a great way to see it, though, you know,
it's funny. I'm just wanting to read this from somebody
said about the cut of three. I'm sorry, I'm a
little behind in the chat there. They did recut three
and it still sucks. It's you know, I don't know.
I actually Ryan Keeth is like, I have the new
cut of three and it still sucks. It's slightly better. Yeah,
that's how I describe it. Hey not rich. Dad was saying,

(45:11):
this is like the spitball media dick measuring contest that
I'm into it, No, homo, Well maybe a little like
seven percent. Yeah, this does seem like we're trying to
one up each other. I'm not gonna lie, you know,
slave cheeks shots. Asking about Tarantino films and physical media.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
Yeah, they put a ship ton of them out on
a steel book. I want to see if I have here,
actually here, this is a good example.

Speaker 1 (45:33):
Joe Punches joined us. He said he just read the
al Pacino memoir. Sonny boy.

Speaker 2 (45:36):
Yeah, they're they're all on four K except for the
Hateful Eight. Okay, death Proof. Those are the two that
are not on four K.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Oh that's a shame, but.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah, everything else is on four K and it's on
steel books. This is a good example of it. This
is a reservoir dogs.

Speaker 1 (45:52):
Oh Mike.

Speaker 2 (45:54):
It creates that the fucking characters and then.

Speaker 1 (45:58):
Has got to be worth the fortune.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
This is one of my favorite steelwalks. Watch this. It
reveals the title. It's the bloody ear on the car.

Speaker 1 (46:07):
What year did this come out?

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Like two years ago? This is four K two looks
fucking gorgeous. Dude, that looks beautiful.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
God damn b show. This is like, this is SHOT's killed.
I knew, I mean, I knew this Shot was gonna
have the biggest wing of the night with this stuff.
But my god, he's rubbing it in now. He's sticking.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
Like the one night him and I stayed up and
he was showing me all the stuff he has, and
it made me want to run out and go like
max out my credit cards. And it made me quickly
realize that collecting physical media is not another hobby you
need to drop money on.

Speaker 1 (46:38):
Right, he's a shot, You're just killing it. SHOT's winning
for sure.

Speaker 2 (46:41):
I didn't even want to show this. All of this
was just I was just showing just two gorgeous all right, I'm.

Speaker 1 (46:44):
Sorry you have to follow that all right?

Speaker 3 (46:46):
Now, it's this is gonna be silly as ship, but
I'm a huge teenage mutant Ninja Turtles fan. I still
have the original VHS from the movie That You and
Your Life Like To See back sineteen ninety ninety yep,
with the little turtles on the book.

Speaker 1 (47:04):
This I see the turtles on there.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
Yeah, and it still works jinx Nope, okay, And then
these are the more childish of them. I was at
a thrift store a while back and I saw the
Burger King Kids Club cartoon VHS release, and we used
to watch these all the time. Burger King Kids Club
was awesome, Like you.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Sign up a regular cartoon, right, The cartoon was awesome.

Speaker 3 (47:28):
Yeah, But if you were a kid and you went
to Burger King and your parents signed you up for
their kids club, you get like discounts on kids meals,
you get extra toys, you get like posters and shit
in the mail on your birthday, and you could buy
these for discounts. So we had a bunch. And I
was going through my attic today and I actually found
this one that I didn't even know I still had.
So it's another episode Invasion of the Turtle Snatchers.

Speaker 1 (47:50):
Oh that's fantastic. Wow, Yeah, that's fun. So I actually
liked this movie quite a bit. My father was a
big fan of this movie. This is the first time
they put out a Sea Biscuit on DVD, and this
is an amazing First of all, it's a fucking brilliant movie.

(48:11):
It's it's got like a little book in here with
all pictures from the film, which is such a brilliant film.
But when you open this thing up, it's got like
a little it's got hold on it's hard to explain.
It's got cards the match race card set from the
original race that's of Sea Biscuit, like the ill actual

(48:32):
fucking these are all reprinted race cards of the real
Sea Biscuit and the real people from the film that
the film was based on, with all these statistics, and
it's just fucking phenomenal. It's a dual. It's a two
box set. It's a two disc set. One of them
is completely bonus materials. Again, this is all region one

(48:56):
stuff because that wasn't even a thing at the time.
But it's such a fucking cool box set. And then
this book, I mean just for like a standard but
like look how it's very glossy, you know, like it
just look at this the way it stands out. If
you've never seen the movie, it's a fucking great movie.
It's a very rewatchable, enjoyable movie. Toby maguire was at

(49:20):
the height of his Spider Man fame and he emaciated
himself to play a jockey, and then he went on
to hurt his back severely in the pre proceding Spider
Man movies. But oh Don Stony said it should have
come with glue. They turned them into a baseball glove.
I think that's the joke from Simpsons, a baseball glove

(49:41):
made out of Secretariat. As far as that goes, Simpsons
remain undefeated. Uh, show what else do you? What? Are
we gonna show off a couple more highlights?

Speaker 2 (49:52):
Here?

Speaker 1 (49:52):
What else you got?

Speaker 2 (49:53):
Yeah, so I'm gonna run through someone. Erro video that
I got. Ero video was the same one that did
the Chucky set, so the they did some Cronenberg stuff.
This is original art for Video Drome. Gorgeous, fucking love
this cover and you can tell it's from the UK
because it's got the UK thing on that region. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
comes with a little booklet and of course the disc.

(50:16):
You know, look at that art though. I don't even
see that.

Speaker 3 (50:18):
Oh nice, But are the en trails coming from the TV?

Speaker 2 (50:21):
Yeah? Yeah, so I got again. I'm fucking retarded with
this ship.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Dude.

Speaker 2 (50:26):
I paid fifty for this and they put it out
in a different cover and I had to get that too.
So I got the exact same movie, exact same edition,
just different covers. Had to get both. I owned Video
Drome probably seven times on Blu Ray and four K. Wow,
but they keep putting it out and I just have
to keep buying it. And while we're on Cronenberg, I'll

(50:46):
show some second site. So second site is the one
that put out the Texas Chainsaw ox set that I
was showing off. This is also on four K scanners again,
another thick box. This is also from the UK. Again.
Look how fucking I mean? This is like it's like
solid ass boxes.

Speaker 1 (51:06):
That's this artwork. I mean, there's something about these steal
books and these limited edition artwork. It is so fantastic.

Speaker 2 (51:14):
And they also did the Brood they put these out together,
so wow, brood a ton of Cronenberg love that art.
Look at that shit.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
Wow, I don't even know what this is.

Speaker 2 (51:25):
Let's see, got a little uh so this is what
the disc comes in.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
When did this come out? Uh?

Speaker 2 (51:33):
This year? I think Jesus. So this might still be
available if you want to buy. This is probably on
Orbit DVD dot com. The Brood booklet in there.

Speaker 1 (51:42):
Not a great movie if I'm remembering correct.

Speaker 2 (51:44):
I've actually never seen this one.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
To be honest, you sure have you ever seen that?
It's not a great movie. I don't think no, no, no, no,
Uh they.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
Not reached out over under sixty percent John comes on stream?

Speaker 1 (51:55):
No, I I handled business before we came online.

Speaker 3 (51:59):
Ranks. Are the thick boxes supposed to be an homage
to VHS tapes?

Speaker 1 (52:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (52:06):
I don't think so, because they have some additions where
they just make it look like an actual like VHS.

Speaker 1 (52:14):
Yeah, they do that on purpose for sure.

Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yeah, so these are I think it's just more so
just because it's more sturdy like the regular editions you
know after ten years last cover. Yeah, these are made
to last for decades because.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
It's all right, that's shots killing it. Be sure? What
do you got there? This one? Oh?

Speaker 3 (52:34):
Maybe the best looking in my collection, just like the
screen factory of the Halloween hold it up to Friday.
The thirteenth. Oh I love this one for a few reasons. One,
the art work is all original, unlike the Halloween, which
is pretty big. Bitch, check that out.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
That is phenomenal. What's up a manual?

Speaker 3 (52:54):
It's hard to see, but this is I keep this
face out on my shelf all the time. It's got
all the different Jason versions. Yeah, I thought about it.

Speaker 1 (53:03):
Oh, the pitchfork is great with Mama war he's coming
out of the head, coming out of the water. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:11):
And then cool thing about this is not only does
it come with I'm running out of Space over here,
one of the booklets that goes, you know, production wise,
film by film, but there's something else cool here. Jason
X exists. Appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
I've never seen Jason X.

Speaker 3 (53:30):
It's not that good. So the movie came with I'm sorry,
the movies all come with your regular covers, right. So
here's the movie poster from the VHS from Back to
the Day, right, But they also came with poster variants
on the other side.

Speaker 1 (53:47):
Phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
And that was the Japanese one that the video game
Jason from ne E S is actually based on.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
Oh that's great.

Speaker 3 (53:56):
So like there's that.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
One and then.

Speaker 3 (53:59):
Part two is cool too. I have so that's part one,
the hatchet and the but then it's got the actual
credits on the other side. I can't find part two.
I think that's over in my entertainment stand. Part two
one has the regular Part two with the chalk outline.
But then if you flipped over the cover and flip
it around, it's got like you know, backwards mongol a

(54:20):
Jason jumping out of the water to get.

Speaker 1 (54:25):
No.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
Very cool set.

Speaker 1 (54:26):
That's one of my very you have the same thing,
one of my favorite. That's my favorite, maybe one of
my favorite ones on the night for sure.

Speaker 2 (54:33):
Sure you should.

Speaker 3 (54:34):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
I'm also sharing this just for b Show because he's
a big fan. Arrow Video actually bought the rights now,
so they have the rights to the four K These
are all Blu rays, so now they're putting them out
on four table. This is them, and then these are
also available. These just came out, so you can get
these on Amazon weeks of Gorgeous and then they put
out Jason Goes to Hell and Jason Axel of these covers.

Speaker 3 (54:56):
I've seen those. Those are awesome. One more thing about
the screen Factory set, I'm kind of pissed because I
can't find a three D TV. But they have the
three D version of uh part three. If you can
find a three D TV and three D Blu ray player.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
Look at that. Wow. So, uh that's pretty cool. So
I'm a huge fan of a Band of Brothers. Uh
the HBO uh docu. Uh well, it was a limited series.
It was sort of I guess a mini series there,
and it won all kinds of awards. That was produced
by Tom hanksen Spielberg. And then they did The Pacific
and a bunch of years ago they decided to put

(55:31):
them out together. They put this out in one big
Look at the sizest thing.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
Uhmember too.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
This is fucking gorgeous. Man. Let me tell you something.
This thing is a beast. Uh. It's very heavy, like
it's a very it reads like a book for you
guys who can't see this. The Pacific wasn't as good
as Band of Brothers. I can tell you that right now,
but right off the bed, like, look at look at
the look at the fucking production value of this fucking thing.

(55:58):
You open it up and you got the first two
discs for Band of Brothers, you know, and a wonderful
fucking layout here that turns out to be I believe,
and then it has a bonus material and then it
has the Pacific. All of this is on one big
box set. This is actually the Blu Ray. I don't

(56:21):
know what year it came out side you said, you
remember when this came out. This was a big deal
when it came out.

Speaker 2 (56:25):
I want to say, like maybe twenty fifteen ish.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
Yeah. I even have all of the little particulars in
there that they give you, you know, like for the codes
and whatnot. Just absolutely gorgeous. You know, my brother Mike
worked for HBO for many years and he got a
lot of these things free at a time, or he
got them for like below cost. And we will always impress.
Whether it was the wirebox sets, the Sopranos box sets,

(56:49):
they were always good looking presentations. But for this, they
really this is they really step this thing. The fuck
up slave jeeks. I like generation killed, but it's a
different generation, you know, as far as that goes. But
this is fucking gorgeous. I don't know what I mean.
It's so it's it's really heavy. It's just it's it's
like it's it's just but I like, I like the

(57:11):
layout of it, and I love band I can't watch
it because it reminds me touch my dad. Bandon Brothers
was like his thing and the Pacific but Bandon Brothers
was like my father's thing. So but I love it.
It's one of my favorite things that I own, and
I plan on keeping all these things. I'm gonna try
to leave them to my girls because I don't want
anything to happen to them, you know, as far as

(57:33):
that goes. Show what else can we show the kids? Tonight?
Before we wrap it up? I got a couple of
special vinyl I'm gonna share.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
Yeah, it looks like a like a Criterion edition. That's
something that they would put out the one.

Speaker 1 (57:44):
Let me see would it say it on airps? Criterion?

Speaker 2 (57:47):
It's not Criterion, I know.

Speaker 1 (57:48):
It's not HBO. Blu Ray. Yeah it's Blu Ray though.

Speaker 2 (57:52):
Yeah, no, that's not that's not Criterion. But speaking of Criterion,
here's a Spike Lee joint. This is one of my
favorite movies and I love love this fucking addition because
of the art and just do the right thing. Man,
look at this ship.

Speaker 1 (58:06):
Oh wow, I love this.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
And of course Criterion has some of the best features
you know, same with arrow video. Most of these that
I'm showing you have a ton of features too. I'm
just not mentioning it. But look at this fucking art man.
I mean, it comes with a booklet. It's got all
the flags on there, Jesus, full blown essays, interviews, all

(58:29):
kinds of shit.

Speaker 1 (58:30):
Oh wow.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
And then look at this fucking art man. Look at
this ship. Damn. I love this art man. Look at
this back.

Speaker 3 (58:41):
There's I'm not familiar with the movie, but I was
watching the video.

Speaker 1 (58:45):
On it the other night a billion times.

Speaker 3 (58:47):
So the one thing that was so striking was they
had three older gentlemen sitting in front of just a
solid red brick wall, and it was such a vibrant,
like eye catching scene. I couldn't take my eyes off
of it.

Speaker 2 (58:59):
I mean, the color palete in this movie, man, it's yeah,
his colors are great.

Speaker 1 (59:02):
It was. The cinematography is phenomenal, and it's a great movie.
It's a timeless movie. Especially I was a young person
when that came out in high school. You know, there
was a lot of racial tension in the mid to
late eighties. There was actually like race riots in places
like Crown Heights in Brooklyn and Benson Hurst and Howard Beach.
That was murders, literal fucking murders that took place, and

(59:25):
that movie was sort of a response to that at
the time. So it was a fascinating time to be
a young person. And it's a phenomenal film. It's a
fucking great movie. It's a great fucking movie. What do
you got there, b show to share with the class.

Speaker 3 (59:37):
I do have another DVD before we move on to music,
and I forgot I had this one. It's Rogue one.
Now some people haven't seen Rogue one.

Speaker 1 (59:48):
The Star Wars story. Fucking bomb, dude, it's the fuck bomb.

Speaker 3 (59:52):
I think other than Empire Strikes Back, I think is
my favorite Star Wars movie.

Speaker 1 (59:57):
It is. It's just phenomenal. It's just a phenomenal movie.

Speaker 3 (01:00:00):
So, because they're stealing the death Star plans, it's hard
to see what that slip cover has. And let me
move it back over the black side so you can
see it better. In the contrast, it's got almost like
computer looking.

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
Oh like yeah, yeah, yeah, like like what would be
on like the like the screen like yeah when they
downloaded off yeah the plans.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Yeah, on the inside, it's got some of the footage
is Scarif on it. Oh wow, there's some I love
it Assassin Troopers. This thing pops out with jennerso. But
then there's also another one with Cassie and and the Droid.

Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
Yeah, which is from the series. Wait did you catch
up to the series.

Speaker 3 (01:00:38):
Yet, I have not watched.

Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
And oh, there's a bunch of them in here.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Holy shit.

Speaker 3 (01:00:43):
Oh there's like the the the Ninja dude, I don't
remember his name, Kangwai or something like that.

Speaker 1 (01:00:48):
Yeah, I one with Forces.

Speaker 3 (01:00:51):
Yes, probably one of the coolest Star Wars characters ever.
And then there's Credic with his like Assassin Troopers. This
movie single handedly restored Darth Vader to badass status.

Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
It most certainly did shots of phenomenal movies, not like
any other Star Wars property at all.

Speaker 3 (01:01:10):
And then there's multiple discs. Honestly, I don't know what's
on all of these. I know one's maybe a Blu ray. Oh,
one's three D, so if you have a three D
player and a three D TV somewhere.

Speaker 2 (01:01:18):
You can check it out.

Speaker 3 (01:01:18):
But oh wow, Yeah, documentaries and different versions and I've
deleted scenes. It's pretty cool. This is not one I've
maximized my watching power on yet. But it is a
pretty cool piece over on.

Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
My shelf for sure. That's gorgeous, dude, And I love
that movie. What do You Got for the Kids? Shot?

Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
This is probably definitely my top three favorite steel books
of all time, and it's mainly because of the transparent
slipcover that comes off. So it's American Psycho. He does
the skimmick. I'm saying, he like Lionsgate as a man,
So they do kind of the skimmick where they put
these transparent, translucent slipcovers on there and then when you

(01:02:00):
move it, it reveals his bloody face. You see that.

Speaker 1 (01:02:05):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, I think I've seen that before.

Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
Man, this is like one of the most like sought
after steal books now because it's like it's one of
the first ones where they started doing this kind of
gimmick again and now it's going bashit crazy. So this
is another Lionsgate. One fucking amazing movie, one of my
favorite ones.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
So I inherited Vinyl from the nineteen fifties first edition.
I'm holding in my hand the Dell Vikings from nineteen
fifty seven. This is from Mercury Records. When I show
you how pristine this vinyl is. There is not a

(01:02:44):
scratch or a nick of any kind. You guys see this.
This is from nineteen fifty seven Mercury Records. This is
just one of dozens, whereas the out side is falling apart.
This was you know, del Vikings saying like, come and

(01:03:05):
go with me? Is it any wonder summertime? I also
back in the day, this is from also nineteen fifty seven,
they would put out compilation records. This is the Teenagers,
the Heartbeats, the Cleft Tones. I also have the Platters
from sixty one. Also the vinyl My father kept these things.

(01:03:27):
This is from Mercury Records. Pristine, absolutely pristine and b show.
I was saving this one for you because I know
you're gonna mark out. I have a couple. This is
a Rolling Stone the Satanic Majesty's Request album. Nice but
check this out. This is this is badass. You're ready
for this peach show? Okay, all right, hold on, I'm

(01:03:47):
saving this for you. You're gonna like this nineteen seventy six,
did I move it? Hold on? Sorry, guys, this is
I'm trying to be careful with these things. From nineteen
seventy six, the original Al Steve Miller Fly Like an
Eagle out Nice. This is the real album nineteen seventy six.

(01:04:09):
And I have tons of these things from the seventies, sixties, fifties,
to the point where I am going to have to
buy a brand like a brand new record player. And
I want to point out this is my first record
that I put out in the spring of nineteen ninety one.

(01:04:31):
This was my hardcore seven inch that if you look
on eBay, several colors of the vinyl and I have
a limited blue edition go for seventy five dollars. There's
four songs on here. We are trying to get this
re released digitally. We still have the card. This was

(01:04:53):
on a label called Inner Journey, which bands like Clutch
and Sub Zero would be on. This is the layout.
It's a picture I took in nineteen ninety I'm the
guy named John and I'm wearing a Morrissey T shirt
in my hardcore seven inch. The most there is a

(01:05:14):
maroon colored vinyl that goes for seventy five dollars or
almost one hundred dollars on the internet, and I actually
I don't have This was my nineteen ninety. This came
out in ninety four. This was my follow up album, Levitate.
It's got a pretty cool layout here. We got some

(01:05:36):
religious shit on here. None of this is available digitally,
none of it. None of it. We're trying to get
the seven inch released re released on with a remastered version.
We're negotiating with a couple of labels now for a
digital release. So I'm excited for that. But if you

(01:05:58):
happen to come across these things on the internet, that
worth a lot of money. And b show you have
this shirt. This is where that came from. Oh yeah, yeah,
this is from nineteen ninety one.

Speaker 3 (01:06:10):
Uh but I'm a triple over all my shit sitting.

Speaker 1 (01:06:13):
On the floor. Yeah no, no, no, no no. But
this is the Blue the Blue edition. There's black, there's blue,
there's red, there's pink, and I think maroon. One of
them is a mistake. And there's very limited copies. It
was pressed a few thousand times, it was re released
a few thousand times. I never got a dime for
any of this, never or this for that matter, never

(01:06:36):
got never got anything for any Yeah no, nothing, not
the zilch. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. That's hardcore.
But b show you said you had some vinyl there,
I've got quite a few.

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
I've got quite a few, Dottie so John. These are
older that you might appreciate. My wife got me this
from my birthday couple of years ago at a thrift store.
It's like a Dean Martin.

Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
Oh, Everybody ever Loves Somebody. That's a great song.

Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
So there's about twelve songs, six on each side.

Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
The only one I really know other than Everybody Loves
Somebody is maybe Facing the Crowd. I've heard of from
My Heart Cries for You, but no other big hits.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
That was the that was the standout track.

Speaker 3 (01:07:22):
Yes, it doesn't say when this was actually released, but
at sometime what the sixties.

Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
Probably yeah, for sure, maybe early since the fifties.

Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
These two are from the late the mid to late sixties, sixties,
six sixty seven. It's volume seven and eight The History
of Rhythm and Blues. Oh, we picked these up at
a shop a couple months or maybe a year ago.
Those a lot of Sam and Dave, which I'm a
huge fan of, Samon Percy.

Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
Sledge, like Percy Sledge.

Speaker 3 (01:07:53):
Oh, it's reading Wilson Pickett book your teene. The MG's
that's if you've ever heard the organ nude.

Speaker 1 (01:08:00):
Booker T and the Mgs for sure, not Booker T
the wrestler. This can you dig it?

Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Chain of Pools by Retha Franklin.

Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Great song.

Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
Uh, here's another one you'll appreciate. This is Sinatra. I
don't even know if I've listened to this one yet.

Speaker 1 (01:08:13):
I have some Sinatra. Oh that's a good. Yeah, I've
seen that before. I have the New York New York,
the debut of New York New York very cool.

Speaker 3 (01:08:22):
I've got a couple other honky shit albums like Seals
and Cross.

Speaker 1 (01:08:25):
And Yeah Yeah Arley Simon, I I you know I
have some of that stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
Don Stoney asked any Seeger see Pete Seeger. I think
we're born with this Pete Seeger Night Moves, which.

Speaker 1 (01:08:40):
Is a great album. Wow, look at that God. Yeah,
he looks like everybody I bought Weed offer from nineteen
eighty seven to nineteen ninety five, Like I would like
any one of those guys would sell you weed. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
I actually had the CD of this a long time ago,
and then we found this at a store when I
lost to CD. But yeah, rock Brool never forgets Night
Moves Fired down Below, sun Verse, Sunspot Baby, Yeah, come
to Papa, let's get that's one of.

Speaker 1 (01:09:08):
The other good ones. You didn't mention it. There be
show that I hear. I just lose my mind.

Speaker 3 (01:09:12):
Hang on, I'm still coming.

Speaker 1 (01:09:14):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:09:14):
This is Oh Stranger in Town, This has Hollywood. Night's
still the same. You've talked about that one before.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
My father's jam. That's my father's jam.

Speaker 3 (01:09:24):
Old time rock and roll, that's honky wedding music.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Yeah, I don't like that song.

Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
A feel like a number.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
I feel like a number was the B side I
think to still the same? Actually, yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:09:34):
And then the last one I've got is what some
people who like hard rock called maybe from this era,
not all but yeah, one of the greatest live albums
of all time Live Bullet. This is where if you
ever hear Beautiful Loser and what's it called Traveling Man
and Beautiful Loser came back to back on the radio.
That's that's what this is from.

Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
So oh wow, that's phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
Caman do rambling, gambling man. Lots of stuff on here.

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Yeah, Like what was that we would this one? I
can't remember? Like that's it Oh god, we forgetting a
really good one. It's gonna drive me to the break.
All right, Shot, regale them with your headliner? What's your
I got a big closer. I'm closing with Shot. Close
with a big one. Give them a big one.

Speaker 2 (01:10:20):
Oh, let me show off a couple of vinyl that
I got to before.

Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
I Oh, yeah, yeah, I got a big one I'm
gonna close with. But go ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
So I got the soundtrack to Bride Up the reanimator.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Animator.

Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
Okay, beautiful artwork in there. This is from a wax work.
Oh wow, I try to run through these real quick. Actually,
you know what I forgot this one? Do you guys
remember this from back in the day. This was a DVD.
This is one of the first DVDs I bought, the
Evil Dead set. Yes, remember the ship for sure. I
am surprised this is still together because most of them

(01:10:53):
have crumbled into like dust. So I don't know how
I've kept mine in a good shape. But hey, man,
the Book of the Dead. It's got beautiful artwork inside.
It looks identical to the actual book in the movie,
So that's pretty cool. And then let's go back to
the vinyl. I haven't opened this, so I can't open it,
but I'll just show the cover Jacob's Ladder from.

Speaker 1 (01:11:16):
I think you've showed us that before. That's Gorgeousah.

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
I showed you guys this last week. And then I
also have creep Show from wax Work.

Speaker 1 (01:11:26):
Oh these covers are I love this cover mm hmmm and.

Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
Luck damn I love the inside inside is gorgeous. Ship
and the color it's like a little book in here.
And then you get the vinyl Damn Killer Clowns from

(01:11:51):
outer Space. I haven't opened this.

Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Love that. Oh that's the best one. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
The vinyl is a pink and purple, I believe.

Speaker 1 (01:11:59):
Wow Against the Wind, that's.

Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
One that crowden.

Speaker 1 (01:12:06):
I hear that.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
I want to show this one off because John showed
a cool replica piece. This is from Arrow Video. Also
this is Demons one and two. Ah, and you open
this side to side. They have a booklet hard booklet
us love this cover. I kind of wish this was
the cover because this is just like gorgeous. It's got

(01:12:29):
a book in there, kinds of interviews and ship hard
book cover and check this out. This is what comes
with it. Man, you've seen the movie, you know the
Golden ticket.

Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
Holy sh it, well, poster cool.

Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
The movies are in here too. This is all four
K two so and then I'll save my main event.

Speaker 1 (01:12:54):
I want to see the main headlining shot just because
we're never gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:12:57):
Be all right. I'll show it to you.

Speaker 1 (01:12:59):
We already we've conceded five minutes in that you have
the superior.

Speaker 3 (01:13:04):
Yeah, I mean this is just pull out your dick
and beat us over the head this in the camera,
and we'll call it a night.

Speaker 2 (01:13:09):
This is super fucking rare because it's sold out like instantly.
So this is I don't know, this is like three
hundred dollars three fifty. This is all the rambos on
four K, including the Wow, we all steel books and
all are in here, individuals, and it's got I like

(01:13:31):
that it's got like styrofoam inside it, so they don't
like rub against it come out uh shit, like five
years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Wow, I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
That's the first.

Speaker 1 (01:13:41):
I love it. Jesus Christ, dude, I.

Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
Won't show all of them. Let me just show like
one or two.

Speaker 1 (01:13:47):
You mother, The artwork is God. The artwork on all
of these guys. That's what I'm gonna want to talk
about on the Patreoon. I want to talk about a
little bit more details, some of the particulars of these things,
about the visual. Oh my god, look at that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
And these are all deal books too.

Speaker 1 (01:14:02):
Who really who put this out?

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
I think just whatever the company. I don't know. It's Universal,
is it. I don't know who put it out.

Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
But I'm not just Paramount. It might be Paramount. I
think he's got I think he's a Paramount guy.

Speaker 3 (01:14:15):
I'm surprised. I'm surprised the studio will go to that
level of de that's that like.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Mostly usually they're they're going from uh like and then
this is the new one. Usually these would come from
like a bootique label. But I don't know. Man, there's
the company itself.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
But damn, dude, this is like, well, b show what
what do you got? What do you what can we
put up there? I got something cool to put up,
but it's not nearly.

Speaker 3 (01:14:39):
So I don't have any other movies to show off.
I do have the I think I've shown you guys
this privately, but uh we talked about this last week
the three D Friday the thirteenth three D cover.

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
Oh wow, I love it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
I was gonna bow that out too. Man, I'm glad
I didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
That thing is gorge and that's you know. That's why
I because because I like the movies. But I can
listen to the music. Oh fuck, there it is. That's
a deleted scene when he cuts Chris's head.

Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
Off at the end of the movie. Oh that's hot,
let's see. Yeah, I know.

Speaker 3 (01:15:15):
It's one of the ways that I get a woman
greased up. I think I should have got this Sunday
the Star Wars from seventy seven. Yes, with also production
stills and all that stuff on the inside. Jesus Christ,
that's my dad's I take good care of that one.

(01:15:35):
As far as visual we already watched their looked at.

Speaker 1 (01:15:38):
The Halloween three one.

Speaker 3 (01:15:39):
How about that's Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 1 (01:15:43):
Wow, damn, what's inside?

Speaker 3 (01:15:45):
It's hard for me to see around what I'm doing.

Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
That's not a whole lot. I love the opening. I
love the way that looks all the lay.

Speaker 3 (01:15:51):
Out of that fan. And then the last one, I
like it because of the color scheme and the way
that he's drawn. But Halloween two with original artwork, Oh,
I like that.

Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
I like that one right there, Oh my god, I
like it looks like he's it looks like he's doing
stand up with a microphone, Like he's like, so, what
is the deal with doctor loomis am?

Speaker 3 (01:16:10):
I right, what's the deal with the sanitarium food?

Speaker 1 (01:16:15):
Let's see? Oh sho, look at this. That's good. Look
at that. That would make a great shirt, wouldn't it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
Yeah, I think you have all the Fridays.

Speaker 1 (01:16:26):
You have all of Yeah, I figured you did.

Speaker 2 (01:16:28):
That one was Oh.

Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
John, before I forget, you'll appreciate this one. This is
like the nineteen eighty three Chipmunks Christmas album.

Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Oh I love it.

Speaker 3 (01:16:35):
We played every Christmas for the kids.

Speaker 1 (01:16:37):
Whyn't you? Well? To me, this is a big deal
because I remember when this came out and I lost
my copy, and years, years, years, decades later, I'm at
a garage sale, and even though somebody's put a sticker
on it, it was still the original, very first printing
of licensed to Ill Vinyl Beastie Boys. Oh wow, very
this is nineteen eighty six. And you know, if you've

(01:17:00):
never seen the original, this is the original falled out
nineteen eighty six. Often you know, imitated, never duplicated, And
I unfortunately someone put a fucking sticker on the cover
but I you know, this was such a monumental cassette
tape in my life. I had to get this so
and could pay a lot for it, but I had

(01:17:22):
to had to had to have it, and then I'll
have to close out with this. Many many years ago,
my wife had heard me mention that, oh, I wish
I had something from stan Lee as he was getting
on in life and passing away. And my wife did
the research and she got literally months before he died.

(01:17:44):
She got this in May of the year he died,
and he died in November. This is even though it's
a low grade, this is an autographed graded stan Lee.
Oh wow, Daredevil. Okay, now what makes this such a
big deal? First of all, this is nineteen sixty three,
but look at the back of this guy's so this
is nineteen sixty three. But what makes this such a
big deal is that this is actually the very first time.

(01:18:08):
This is episode issue seven of Daredevil. This is the
first advent. Now, this is an autographed copy. You see.
I don't know if you guys see the autograph there
at the bottle.

Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
Yeah, yeah, I'd like this.

Speaker 1 (01:18:20):
Yeah, this is the autograph. This is the first appearance
of the Red costume. This is the very very first appearance.
Prior to this costume, Daredevil looked like this for the
first six episodes and issues. This is a very rare statue.
I got of that too. There's only a couple hundred
of these. There's actually twelve hundred of these in existence,

(01:18:42):
and I have that version of it. But this is
I got this in. It's a low grade. It's a
terrible grade, but I didn't care about the grade. I
just and my wife got this in May of the
my birthday and November Stanley died. So even though it's
a very very limited grade, it's probably like one of

(01:19:05):
my favorite things that I own in the world. But boy,
everybody is loving this. We will do this again before
the end of the year. We'll do this before the holidays.
We'll do a holiday version and get our get our
collections up. But shah, we have a couple of special
plugs tonight, don't we.

Speaker 2 (01:19:24):
Yeah, definitely. If you're familiar with uh, you know, death
match wrestling or not even death match wrestling necessarily, even MLW.
There's a wrestler by the name of Jeff Cannonball. I've
known Jeff for a long time and he's like one
of my favorite dudes. Super fucking nice guy man, I mean,
loves animals, vegan guy, hardcore guy, and I've recently been

(01:19:46):
diagnosed with als. So he's not doing great. If you
watch the GCW show over the weekend, he was there.
They put him in the Hall of Fame. So they
are doing a they're doing basically a show for him.
Joey Janella, he's the one that first shared it. I
want to go ahead and pull this up, sock and
mention this. So it's called Cannonball Fest. I will one

(01:20:09):
hundred percent be at this show.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:20:12):
And it's supposed to be like the biggest independent wrestling supercard.
So every single fucking name that's available is going to
be on this show, and every single penny is going
to Jeff Cannonball. So Sunday, September fourteenth, look up Cannibal Fest.
If you're friends with me on Facebook, Instagram, et cetera,

(01:20:33):
I'll share it out. In fact, see if I can
just share it out now that way, you guys, can
you pull that up? Okay, there you go.

Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
Yeah, it's on the screen now.

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Yeah, so that' said right there, man, please do a
support man, I mean he's you know, it's in a
tough spot man. That was man, I had tears in
my eyes seeing that dude like in a wheelchair because
last time it just happened so fast see him like
WW But yeah, man, look up Jeff canniball go on
IWTV stream as much shows that he was on there

(01:21:04):
because all those shows that you stream, all that money
is gonna go to him.

Speaker 1 (01:21:07):
So okay, so we're definitely good. We'll be promoting this
over the summer for sure. And b show. Don't we
have a couple of special plugs, Yes, we do. So.

Speaker 3 (01:21:16):
First of all, Rich dal is gonna be on the
Buy You Geeks on Saturday, joining Fatty three to sixteen.
That'll be fun. I know Fatty did their show X's
